Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome ladies, gentlemen, to for the fan episode number one
sixty five. As always, I am Will and we got Domin.
We've got Jake here, gentlemen, Hello, Hello? Is this a
fun video? No, we still have one more fun division left.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Vision to talk about before we, you know, lose our
minds with a double South episode.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I gotta see West. The NFC West isn't a bad Yeah, the.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Wild West is fun. I mean I might have to
suspend Jake and find them for releasing that voodoo into
the air and causing this mayhem to even be a
thing right now. It's the only lot, it's the only
logical explanation behind this.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Listen, instead of punishing just me this year, they're punishing
all of us.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
You know, I blame Colton. Coland hasn't been on so
like if he came on, like we would have already
done it by now. It's waiting for him. We might
not ever get it. Who knows. They're just waiting for Coland.
But yes, we have the NFC North on tap here.
We got the Bears, Da Bears, we got the past
go Back Go Skull in Minnesota, and then we got

(01:05):
a kneecap biting guy in Detroit. So this is gonna
be fun exciting. Uh yeah, let's just stretch thissel as
long as we can before we ever have to touch
those South episodes.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yeah all right, but.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yes, thank you all for tuning in. We're gonna get
right into this. You are listening to for the fan.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
You are listening to for the fan, and.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Here we are excited. I suppose I don't know the
other division in the entire NFL in twenty twenty four
to have three playoff teams enter the AFC West we
talked about last week, and this week it's the NFC North.
So as if you're new here, we always start with
the worst team and we work our way to the

(02:12):
best aka the division winner and so on and so forth.
So Dom, without further ado, let's open this John up
in Jake's terms, and we're gonna start out there in
the wendy city of Chicago, where a year ago they
the Bears somehow luckily trade away the number one pick
and got the number one pick a year later with

(02:32):
a slew of other picks that they acquired via a
trade with the Panthers, they got one of the top
quarterback prospects in recent memory with Caleb Williams. Although the
season was not memorable, they did bring in a slew
of new people, including the man picture right there, Ben Johnson,
who has had a wild amount of success in Detroit,
looking to turn the tide for the Chicago Bears and

(02:54):
maybe just maybe have the first ever four thousand yard
passing quarterback for the oldest franchise in the NFL. I
think that's the best way I could put it there
for them. I think that's the best thing I can
even put there Alrighty to the offense, we go. They
bring in a lot of new pieces. When I mean

(03:15):
a lot, I mean a lot, and I use the
word slew because there is just so much going on here.
Let's start out front there, the offensive line. Caleb Williams
was sacked a shit ton of times. That's the only
way you could say it. So they bring in Uh,
They trade for Joe Touney, they trade for Jonah Jackson,
They get Drew Dollman, who at the time was the
best center available on the market. They build around their quarterback.

(03:39):
They draft Colston Loveland in the first round, passing Tyler
Warren from Penn State, who ended up going a few
picks later, they get a lot of death pieces there,
Ozzie Trapillo, Luke Newman. They bring in some new weapons,
including Alaminde Sakias who had a really good year in
Washington last year. And then Devin Duverne, the speedy guy
from Baltimore who was only in Jacksonville for a season

(04:03):
injury filled, but he's looking to turn the tide with
this new offense that is looking to bring some Detroit
style to the Wendy City. And now if once we
bring our selves back here, what are we looking here
are we? It's a it's a new offense. They bring
in three new mid mid yeah, middle of the line

(04:26):
offensive guys. Yeah, Joe Tuney, who's you know, Jonah Jackson,
which I think was a surprise by the Rams being traded,
and also Dolman just getting new center pieces. With Darnell
Wright and Braxton Jones being your corner guys on this
offensive line.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
I don't know if you trade in and out the
entire interior offensive line.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Let me also put this this way, Caleb Williams was
sacked sixty eight times last year for four hundred and
sixty six yards.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
That's insane.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Yeah, I mean like you really can't judge. I don't
I don't care how good or bad.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm sorry, I also have to cut you off again.
He avoided nearly fifty sacks as well, so if he
took them all, one hundred and eighteen potential sacks would
have been taken by Caleb Williams last year. Sorry, continued down.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Like changing out the entire interior. Oh line, you just
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
We could say what we can say, right, we could say, oh,
this guy's good, this guy's bad, blah blah blah.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Right, you really don't know until it comes time to play,
you know, I mean.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
It's this is it?

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Really there's too much change for an offensive line to
really just know until it happens.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
So you gotta hope, sure, go for it. Hope. I
hope this is the change you needed to make.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
But yeah, I don't know if it could get worse
than last year, So that might be a good thing,
so to.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Put in the perspective. Caleb williams sacks sixty eight times
was the third most in NFL history. David Carr was
first seventy six times in the Texans inaugural season, and
then Randall Cunningham was sacked seventy two times in nineteen
eighty six, so this was the what third third most

(06:30):
And then as what Jake said, four hundred sixty six
yards lost on sacks, which is the fourth fourth most
yards lost on sacks. Ever, Yeah, fumbled five times or
lost five fumbles. He fumbled ten times.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
There's someone in Sitcock comments said, bear down, bear down. Yeah,
that's a lot. That's a lot of what was happening
in last year in town.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah, there's no Oh that's it. I mean, I don't
know what you can really say. You can analyze these
guys cool? Are they good?

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yeah, I mean like really not bad historically offensive linemen,
but like you just don't know until it comes time.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Interchanged your entire into your line. So hope, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
See I see if it affects the run game positively, negatively,
see if it affects you know, past rush just is
what it is. Well, we'll see when we get there.
That's definitely all you can say.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I mean, well, likely help if you get like the
old tuni and not like the tuning that played tackle
a totally different thing. But yeah, uh, I don't know
if it needn I'm not the biggest k Williams fan.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I wasn't always in college.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
But it doesn't really matter if they do it, if
they get the old Kaila Williams like he, I just
think it unless he matures, he's always going to be
this guy with stats in law and just lose his games.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
But you got to help him as much as you can.
I mean that that you know, this.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Is new receivers, four new receivers. Luther Burden, I mean
Roman Dunees like Keenan Allen, he went back to the Chargers,
but they didn't sign him again. I mean they did
make the trade and was fun. It was exciting to
kind of be like, okay, hey, well we see Keenan
Allen of old and we obviously didn't kind of fell
flat on his face. But the two headed uh tight

(08:29):
end monster there with Colson Loveland and Cole Kmet but
also durham smythe so you have to think, Okay, you're
gonna have three guys who obviously can block in your system.
You still got to bring him. You got to bring
back Mercedes Lewis. He says he has one more year
in him. Bring him back, do all that kind of stuff.
I don't know I got, I got nothing else.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah, it's just as you know, see, I don't know, like,
are do we know now that some of this information
is coming out?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Do you know if these stars are playing their preseason game.
I don't have anything that they said that they were,
because I feel like they have to. There's there's so
many new pieces of news. I think they'll play the
last I think they'll play like week two and week three.
I think they'll do that. They're not going to be
going out and playing on week one. I think, you know,

(09:18):
you'll get the backups in there, but definitely in week
weeks two and weeks three, you're gonna be seeing the
starters play, and they're gonna be playing a lot because listen,
it's either in the stuff I've seen from training camp,
obviously Caleb Williams looked absolutely bad. But also you go
back through some of like the previous seasons where it's like, Okay,

(09:38):
Lamar Jackson in twenty nineteen, the reporters like does he
even know how to throw football? Still they were questioning that,
and then Lamar Jackson goes out and wins MVP, has
a really great year, and then Brock Purty it's like Oh,
I think brock Party's arm has to be amputated because
obviously in that freak injury against the Eagles, he can't
throw football and he was leading a quarterback ratings touchdown
interception to ratio in twenty twenty three. It was a

(10:01):
part of the Niners going to the Super Bowl. But
could this be another one? Or is the Bears defense
that good that or you know that elite that you
know Caleb Williams looks absolutely just terrible.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yeah, we'll find out.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Well, someone in the TikTok comments that Ceedee Lamb got
traded to the Bengals. Oh my god. Okay, let's talk
about the defense here.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I don't think the passing target net has anything to
do with what the Bears defense is doing.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yeah, Windy City, man, you got the twelfth Man, you
got twelve men, you got you got the twelfth Man,
which is the crowd in Seattle, and you got the
twelfth Man, which is the the stupid win in Chicago.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
They don't add a whole lot of pieces, but they
do add a lot in the front part of the defense. There.
Grady Jared coming in from Atlanta, Atlanta, Dao, I'm not
gonna pronounce his last name from the Indianapolis Colts and
drafting a couple of new pieces there. One of their
three second round picks that they had this year, Shamar Turner,
defensive tackle. They also got Rubin Hype Light the second

(11:08):
go terps and Zah Frasier for the quarterback position. Not
a whole lot of change here. I gotta look up.
Oh no, I know that's the guy who's on the defense.
That's the guy the defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen. Yes, yeah,
another another guy who is a great coordinator, a dog

(11:29):
water head coach. Can he maybe turn the tides? I mean,
Bears defense already really good as it is, but can
they be better? That's that's the question here.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
I mean head coach is Ben Johnson, So.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
We also don't know, like, okay's Ben Johnson gonna be
a good head coach or is he just gonna be
like a the head coach like usually the whiz kid
offensive scheme guy is not. Yeah, I'm gonna again, Manning,
advocate for you to be a head coach elsewhere and
you know you might.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Be a Okay, this team is kind of like just
really a whole bunch of we'll see I really don't.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
I don't know how to judge this team right now.
I don't.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
It's not like I see this and think, Wow, they're
going to take a huge step forward from last year,
especially in a division where number one and number two
are kind of a lock.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
We got to see about the Vikings.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
They made a lot of changes, but it's we'll see,
I guess. I don't know. I got nothing else to
say about this team other than.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
There's a lot there's been some changes, and there's you know,
coach changes, there's the entire interior offensive line, the defensive defense, whatever.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
But like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I know, we just got I know, we just got
done talk about the offense there. But they did hire
Declan Doyle, who is the youngest offensive coordinator in the
league at twenty eight years old old. Obviously he's gonna
be better than Shane Waldron, who was the absolute dumbest
human being to ever roam the planet. I don't know
if you all ever get another NFL job, who knows, uh,
But yeah, I think on offense at least, you're gonna

(13:12):
be better, But will you get better on uh defense
as well? I mean, same question, Tom I think, uh,
I think i'd be staying the same. I mean, defense
was really good last year.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
Yeah, well, yeah, I guess there was that time where
the dude was saying something to the crowd and you just.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Pay attention to you for one more play and Jalen
Johnson was it Jalen Johnson? I don't know if really was.
I thought it was a backup or was it Tyreek
steven I think it's a starting corner.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
I think I thought it was Tyreek Stevens.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
I could be wrong Stevenson. Sorry, I don't know either way.
It's it was just funny, but whatever, I don't know.
It's they were what would you say, five twelve.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Five and twelve a year ago. Yes, don't worry. I
made I made sure to actually change all the records
this time because last last week I changed the colors,
but I didn't change the records.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Even if they take a step, it's not like this.
This is a tough division.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Look at the schedule and just knowing their division, I
don't know how much better they.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Get than that. Yeah, that's kind of my moves.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
And the scheme and a jump from Caleb Williams. I
don't know how many more wins you get.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
And even if you do get a few more wins,
what you jump the Vikings for third place? Probably still
don't make the playoffs. Like that's the issue here is
this might just.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Be placed in this division? Is still a ten win
team like.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Last I think, Yeah, I don't know about this year.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
I know, I have no idea what there's schedule? Yeah,
let's well, let's let's advance to the schedule here where
week one they open Monday night football at home against
the Minnesota Vikings, which is a big one, and then
they go right to Detroit for the revenge game for
Ben Johnson. I mean, I don't hate the beginning of
their season, I really don't. But you have to play

(15:05):
a really good defense in the Vikings. Kind of figure
out what you're gonna be doing with the Detroit Lions,
because you know they did lose Aaron Glenn and then
Ben Johnson's now your head coach. What are they gonna do?
And then whatever is gonna happen with the Cowboys is
partially gonna be on the field or is gonna be traded? Uh?
And then the Raiders, I mean, you could be two
and two at the bye, but then you also have

(15:26):
to play. You gotta go back to uh the scene
of the crime there in Washington, Saints you should be
able to win, and then you gotta a horrible back
to back with the Ravens, and then you have the
Bengals Giants. I think they can honestly win, and then
you gotta go away. Rogers comes to town. You got

(15:47):
the I forgot the owner returns to Chicago. He hasn't
been there in a couple of seasons.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
If he's still if he still does that The funniest
thing ever.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
I don't know, But like I really am having a
difficult time getting anywhere higher than like sex. Generously, I
got six. I want to be like, oh hey, like eight,
But it's like I can't get any higher than sex.
I really can't.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Yeah, and you know what the back portion of that
schedule is, really Yeah, you play, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
You play the Steelers at home. Then you got to
go to Philadelphia on Black Friday, and then you got
to go to Lambeau then your home for the Browns,
which who knows what how many quarterbacks they'll go through
because now they have six on their roster with snup
Putley now being signed. Yeah, you have no idea a quarterback.
You're oh my god, you don't even know a quarterback.
It's like it's like a Pokemon battle. It's whatever your

(16:44):
best six is, like, oh, hey, they're gonna come out
and they're gonna play.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Yeah, and then you end with the niners and the lines.
It might not matter at that point, but.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
That might be seven right there because of the rat starters.
Maybe I really can't get above sex.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
I really can't.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
No, it's tough, dude, And and that's here we are
with that. That's kind of the issue is it's like, yeah,
this team might have made some changes and coaching changes,
and I still don't really know if it's enough to
do anything. Even if they were to play much better,
I still, honestly I don't.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I don't know if that really matters.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
So I don't know, man, that kind of sucks for you,
But you get to figure it out. This this might
just be another year of I don't know, without a
big jump from.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Caleb Williams and like the Ben Johnson magic, like this
is might get rough again.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
That's you need that to happen.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
You need that those two things happened to even be
sniffing a playoff spot.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Yeah, this might just look like the Bears we know.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
So well, the Bears we know always has a like
a good back half of the season. Well, dom, what's
some they get like respectable at the end?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
What is the win total that they claim? Oh yeah,
wallit to be on the ball. I got it first time.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
I didn't have to go in my history to find
out the website.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
I just assuming that I because I didn't say anything
about it.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
All right, Well that's crazy. Eight point three wins. This
is thirty seven percent at playoffs.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
This is the disconnect between like people who if you
like Kaila Williams and you think he's good, you think
they're a good team. If you watched him in college
and what and don't believe that he's a mature human being,
you don't think they're gonna be good.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Yeah, they have them.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
They have them, earning more wins than Miami, New England, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Dallas.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Well, I don't think is it even possible for both
Minnesota and Chicago to go like eight and eight like
it has it?

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Yeah, they're in the same spot. I don't know, but
this is uh, they have them like middle of the road,
fifteenth out of all the teams. So that's that's what
the sports book puts it.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
But it has them below the vikings.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
It does have them below the vikings by point two wins.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
So if they're below the vikings, Yeah, how do they
win eight games or supposed eight nine games?

Speaker 3 (19:27):
They could win that many games.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Technically, I don't know. That's a little higher than I
would say than what you are saying.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
But what would make this season for the Chicago Bears successful?

Speaker 1 (19:46):
You don't uh from William looks like a pro quarterback Sacks.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
I guess, I guess for the Bears a four thousand
yard season.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
He got a four thousand yard past. That's good. It's
gonna make this season successful. I'm sorry, I got a
special guest trying to get into the studio here. We
got a special guest coming in so interesting, Yeah, so
we could hold off for a second for him to
get in here. See there he is, bingo bango, there

(20:28):
he is.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Call him a special guest, just like well, it's just
a time for him to like roast the Bears because
I'm sure he wants to.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
And there he is, the man, the myth himself, the
Sea Wagon, the real Sea Wagon, there is no other
real Sea Wagon. It's only him and him only.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
What's up fellas the Bears?

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Yeah, we just said the Bears won't win more than
six games.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
Oh boy, six games or doll Bears?

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Check the schedule. You tell me where they earned.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
But I do have a guy in the comments here,
uh Colby, asking who's the perfect RB two in a
twelve man league. I have the eighth overall pick.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Perfect RB two.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
Well, ideally, I don't know if you'd be getting an
RB two at the eighth overall pick.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
If it's Snake der Henry.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
You could Jami or Gibbs Gibbs.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Yeah. Oh, when I look at this Vikings, Lions, Cowgirls, Raiders.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Maybe you go too and two at the bye maybe.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
Yeah, that best case it's two and two. I think, like,
who knows what Mcarthy's gonna look like for Minnesota? Yeah,
Ikes Saints than the Giants. Like cool, there's wins there, probably,

(22:07):
but you don't know what the Giants due. The Giants
could beat the Bears at this break, Like, depending on
Russ plays, Saints are gonna be ass Let's just call
how it is, dude. This is brutal and by the way,
like not that I'm stalking Bears camp. Like, from what
I've seen, cal doesn't look great. That's the problem.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
He's looking better at the unscripted stuff, but whenever Ben
Johnson's trying to script an offense, he cannot grasp it.
For whatever reason. Dude, he's good at the unscripted stuff
and then the two minute drills. From what I've been seeing,
he's good. But like anything that's like scripted that Ben
Johnson's trying to like do there, he is just falling
flat on his face.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
So what's been weird? And not that the two are
the same, Like Sam Donald just got his big extension,
but ironically both guys went to USC and looked really
great early in their careers at USC, like Sam Donald
was like they can't miss prospect. Same thing with Caleb, like,

(23:07):
holy cow, can he come out this year? He's that good?
And then he loses some weapons. It's like Donald did
and lost some pieces on the O line. God, they
look horrible. And again not linking the two together, but
Donald looked like shit with the Jets in Caleb for
as high as a project he was rated, looked like

(23:27):
shit with the Bears last year. And by the way,
the Bears loaded up on talent for him, with the
receiving corps, the running backs bringing it. Like, they put
a lot in for Caleb and he did not repay
the favor. I don't know what the hell the Bears
are gonna be here and this is a huge year

(23:47):
for Caleb. We saw Jaden Daniels did, which I think
added pressure on I know Jayden so far in camp
I know today and they're like, joint practice didn't look amazing.
Oh like the Patriots kind of were getting to him
a little bit. Not that anything true in practice whatever,
but I think there's a lot of pressure with Jade
Daniels looking how good as he did and with less

(24:07):
weapons A lot.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Of people would.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
Say and in a tougher division, I think there's a
lot of pressure on Cale Williams this season. I don't
want to like recap the whole Bears and you guys
already did that, but I think there's a lot of
pressure on Cale Williams in this season.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
My criticism of Cale Williams is well documented at this point,
but like, this is also the same guy in the
great Lincoln Riley scheme that lost to Stafford at home.
Like I know it's a team game. But with like
that coach in that quarterback as talented ass he supposedly is,
can't lose to a team like Stafford at Home, Like

(24:47):
he just loses games, does all this supposed magic and loses.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Yeah, it's definitely there's definitely concerns I think with the
Bears and Cale Williams and as the quarterback, you kind
of have to be a leader. And like knowing the guy, again,
I don't care if he's painting his fingernails and all
that jazz, but like you're in a locker room with
a bunch of other dudes, I might look at it
like that's my quarterback. Like I said, I don't, I
wouldn't take, you know, any weird feeling about it, but

(25:16):
like you're in a locker room with a bunch of
different personalities, and like you're out here with the paint
and nails and crying your mom in the stands at
USC Like that's not what a lot of guys would
look up to in a locker room from their quarterback.
Like I said, I'm not taking a shot at Caleb
Williams with anything like that, but it's just you got

(25:37):
to realize what locker room. What league you're going into.
I mean, we saw this stuff with Richie incognito, how
he treated guys like that. Your offensive linemen are usually
a little bit different built wives and the weather mentally there,
it's just it's not there's a lot of pressure. This
is a ginormous season from Caleb. If he sucks again

(25:58):
this season, boy oh boy. I think the Bears are
deep shit with their quarterback situation, which it's only going
to get worse. I think you're.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Coland it wasn't even really the painted nails for me,
like it's you know, it's just funny to make fun
of him for it, just because it's an easy thing.
But it was more like you didn't do anything really
in college, Like you didn't win anything, and you came
in with this entitlement and people see that too, Like
he came in with the sense of, oh, I should
have an ownership and the.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Bears and this calling people, calls people out.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
With no resume at all, Like it's the sassiness of
the how he colories himself like I am the greatest
and you've done nothing, you haven't earned it.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
I agree when that is a recent like I said,
I don't want to recap the whole Bears and then
you guys did that already. But that's like how how
we each talking about like each like kind of like
a word or something to describe the Bears season. What's
successful Cale Williams, how he progresses is a successful season
for the Bears, because if he will to seem as
last year royal boy what's his name was it? Ryan

(27:02):
pole Right isn't at the gym. He is on the
freaking hot sia.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
I mean he just won a five year deal. I
mean he can't be that hot. He's won like twenty games, dude.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
If he and if they end up this season last
Kale looks like shit, Yeah, then I might as well
go apply for any positions with the Bears becuse I'll
be safe. Holy cow, I don't understand how that would fly,
but taches own, I.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Guess all right, we're talking about these Bears for too long.
We got to save that for the Falcons. But this
is the NFC North, So let's move on north. Here
to lambeau Field, where a year ago the Packers were
coming off the first team as a number seven seed
in the postseason. To win a game inside Jerry World.
They fell short against the forty nine ers. They tried

(27:51):
to get back with some vengeance, having probably the best
Week one game that I can remember down in Brazil
for the South America fan base there. Jordan Love gets
hurt Milk Willis and Milik Willis looks like a competent
quarterback for the first time in his NFL career. Goes undefeated,
shows a lot of sparkiness success, Jordan Love comes back in.
It's kind of like in and out. It's not the

(28:12):
greatest season. They don't have the results that they want.
They still ended up in the playoffs as a seventh
seed again. They go into a Lincoln Financial Field where
the body bag two point zero game took place, and
they just did not look the same. They couldn't really
get anything going on offense, and an early exit for
the Packers. But in twenty twenty five, they're looking to
rebound and try to be this team that they know

(28:35):
they could be, which is a world championship team. And
here we go to the offense. We go where the
Packers for the second consecutive year, decide, hey, we are
going to make a splashy move. They get Aaron Banks,
who is going to help the offensive line. Big money

(28:55):
from San Francisco. I believe it was like a four
year deal ninety something million dollars, or it could be
three years, seventy five, but whatever it is, they paid
a lot of money for Aaron Banks to be one
of the protectors of Jordan Love and somehow, some way
the Packers do it the first time in over two decades.
They decided to take a receiver in the first round,

(29:15):
which probably encouraged Darreon Rodgers to not retire, maybe get married.
Who knows what they did, but Matthew Golden out of
Texas is now the first receiver in a very long
time to be the first round pick for the Green
Bay Packers, helping to potentially solidify a room that hasn't
really had the biggest of talks in the last couple

(29:37):
of years, really downplayed. But according to Jordan Love, Matthew
Golden has that dog in them and that's what they want.
They want a dog. That's according to JL ten if
that's even a nickname. Who knows, But gentlemen, what are
your guys' thoughts on this? Not revamped offense, but they
did add a lot of more pieces there that they

(29:59):
were kind of stronguggling with, especially at the end of
the season.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
I don't know they were good. I mean they they
Josh Jacobs was great, you know.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Another free agent guy. Dog.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
I don't really think I honestly really look at this
and I don't really think much changes. I think they'll
be good. I think there'll be number two in the division.
They'll compete, be a playoff team. Like I don't this
isn't an offensive screens like anything's really going to change.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
They played well last year. I think they'll play well
this year.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
I mean, if Matthew Golden is sick, he's sick, like cool,
that gives them a legitimate target there, and that could
change a game or two. But I think, you know,
double digit wins probably, you know, kind of where they
sat last year, just maybe not the Vikings kind of
outshadowing them a little bit.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
I think the Christian Watson experience is over. I know
he tours a see How week eighteen, so it was
kind of like done for him. So you had a month,
so February gets surgery and he has like the hamstring problems.
I think the experiment's over, it's done with. It's unfortunate.
There was a lot of hype behind him being at
Speedster for the last year of Rogers exact replacement style wise,

(31:22):
Jordan Love is raveing about him. So maybe that's a
good fantasy target for some people.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Maybe they're a good connection.

Speaker 5 (31:28):
I mean again, like, if you sick, that's cool. That's awesome,
and they did a good job on that. That's finally
making that pick.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
That's cool.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
But you know, I don't think ultimately it's not like, damn,
this just became one of the best teams in the league.
I don't really think we're at that point. I just
think cool, like they're still on pace to do what
they need to do, make it the playoffs and compete.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
I mean that's essentially. I just think where this team is.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
I think they still have that like each receiver is
a role guy and not like the I'm and Ross
Saint Brown, the Ceedee Lamb the big target.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
If Golden becomes that, that's sick, but like, yeah, we
gonna see it. I don't know, I don't really have
much to say about this team.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
I just think like, nothing's incredibly groundbreaking, and we're gonna
get to the defense in a second and that's the
same case. So I think it's ultimately just like this
is a very competitive team. It is a playoff team.
It's a gonna battle for the top of this division,
and it'll do the same next year.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
And that's that.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
It's a very boring team.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
It is is.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
I don't say that. The Packers fans on YouTube are
gonna be like, you know, you don't you don't know ball.
That's not right that I watched, I watch preview. That's
not right.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
I got it. I get talking about their team, but
it's boring though. They don't have like kind of like
we're just talking about, they don't have a number one
guy on either side of the ball that jumps out.
It's like that guy is like it's not like it's
t J. Watt like or Miles Best. Miles Garrett on Browns,
like that is a dude on the Browns. Like the

(33:19):
Browns overall suck and they're gonna be horrible this season,
but Miles Garrett is a dude. When I look at
that Packers like Jordan Love, Okay, he's good quarterback. Is
he great?

Speaker 3 (33:29):
No, he's good.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
Look at the receiving cord, like, I gotta see what
Matthew Golden does at this at the next level. I
think Romeo Dobbs is a good receiver. I don't think
they use them a lot. Jayden Reid had a nice
South season last year. Tucker Craft was very good, like good,
I'm not there's no one on this Josh Jacobs like
bounce back after what it disaster, what it was at
the end of this time as a raider, like he

(33:51):
was very good for the Packers, but like there's no
one here that's a great relite on this rosh and
that like jumps, Like when you get to Minnesota, it's like,
oh okay cool. Justin Jefferson, like there's another way, like Detroit,
like the division pops with players like Jamir Gabs, Saint Brown,
Like if Saint Brown was on the scene, like okay cool,

(34:11):
Like there's something that pops for you. There's nothing that
pops on the Packers. I'm not trying to offend any Packers.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Fans already been.

Speaker 6 (34:21):
And I you know what, then in a reality check
when it comes to talking about okay.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
It's always our most dislike video anyway. So no, but.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
I would like a Packers fan to name me a
guy that jumps on the roster, and I'm like, you
know what, You're right, this guy does jump. No one
jumps on this Kenny Clark when you get the defense,
great player doesn't like or a good player doesn't like,
jump off the page, Like, holy ship, gotta watch Kenny Clark.
Like I'm not tuning in to watch Kenny cart play.
Like it's not like it's Aaron Donald on the defense.
Like let's be really here and it's not taking shots.

(34:52):
They're gonna be good. They're gonna have probably nine, ten
to eleven wins again, like that's good in the NFL
when he met many games, but nothing jump on this roster.
That's all I'm saying when I look.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
At exactly sorry, that's exactly yeah, let's do it.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
So let's go to the defense here. Not a whole
lot of change. Eric Stokes that I don't know. That
was just not a great pick by them. He ends
up going to Vegas. So in exchange, Nate Hobbs comes
in as an unrestricted free agent just knowingly, uh Xavier
McKinney year number two with him, he was phenomenal last year.
But they also have that key really young linebacking corps
with Edrin Cooper, Kai Walker, Lucas van Ness and just

(35:31):
a lot of youth. And then you have Rashan Gary,
who's another year off that ACL So you have to
be expecting him to be a lot more explosive now
because he's gonna be back to the Roshaun Gary of old.
But other than that, like, yeah, you have carrying Valentina corner.
He's really he was really good. He popped off the
charts last year. Casey On Nixon, you bring him Micah Robinson.

(35:52):
I don't know. I get that, Yes, they make the moves.
Isaiah Simmons. Can he be this player that you know
the Cardinals were gonna take where he could play linebacker,
the fensive been and safety or is he just gonna,
you know, probably find his way off the fifty three
man roster by the time cuts come around. I think
that experiment's over.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Kind of sad.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Well, do you mean that, Okay, don't do don't do that. Nope,
not doing that? No no, no, no, no nope, not doing it.
Can't do it.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Not doing it again. What we've just said, it's the
same thing.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
You there's one orange name in that starting lineup of
like there's the cool.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
I mean again, yeah, but team season of Edwyn Cooper
because that could be a guy.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Oh yeah, that could be the guy that you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
But like again, it's it's just this is what the
Packers always are. Yeah, solid, not earth shattering, relying on
sometimes quarterback play, which I don't know if Jordan Love
is that Aaron Rodgers guy that everyone talks about him, like.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Hey, it's your three man, your three he he made
it to Aaron Rodgers made it to the super Bowl
in year three. That means, you know, the heir to
the throne has to be now that far to that
now farv went to the super Bowl. What you're four
what ninety two?

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Maybe we're getting five years. Maybe we're getting towards a pattern.
Who knows, but like whatever, Again, like.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
The overall consensus of this team, I think we're kind
of all on the same page of great team, gonna compete,
could compete for the top part of this division.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
I'm not calling them a super Bowl candidate.

Speaker 6 (37:33):
But is my point? So the package don't kill me.
Nothing jumps on this run like their best player probably depends.
Only last season was Isabram Kinney. No one cares about
safety in this league where it's like, oh my god, safeties.
No one does.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
I think there was an objection there, There was a
hundred objection. Dog might be a Packers fan.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
The already one cares that like every year again, this
is what this is what just boggles my mind every year.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
This is the most dislike video for calling them a
good team and not great. Oh no, you have to
call them a super Bowl team. But if you call
a bad team bad, then at least they're like, okay, yeah, yeah,
they're gonna be bad. But it's like the Packers, It's like, yes,
you have the prestigious super Bowl trophy named after your
prestigious head coach that only ever had one playoff loss
in his entire career, and yet it's only been brought

(38:26):
home four times. And then you have the Steelers with
six Brady's done it seven times, Like something has to
kind of give to be fair.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
Our most objective video this year so far has been
us talking really good about the Ravens, so I don't
really know what the standards.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Well, then you have the Broncos to where it's like, oh,
this team's gonna compete, and then a guy's in the
comments like I don't think you know, ball, sir, you
should probably watch the team before trying to comment on
a video like this.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Yeah, I don't know. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Then you have the Chiefs, and then you got like
all these other ones, like guaranteed to just have a
lot of just dislikes.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
It's fun. I don't I don't know.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
The Ravens one blows my mind a little bit. But
all right, let's look at the schedule. Let's see if
we can.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Let's head to the schedule here where Week one is
a very important game. They are home against the Detroit Lions,
obviously a four to twenty five start, and then right
after that probably a really electric Week two Thursday night
football opener.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
For with the Commanders, Uh, I mean, hey, same with
the Buye. I think they could go three and one.
I really think they can. I think the loss can
either happen against the Lions or well, I can't really
say the Cowboys. I mean, Jordan Loves already went into
AT and T Stadium and destroyed them, So I don't know.
There's a chance that this team could start three to one,

(39:49):
maybe potentially four and oh until you get to the bye,
and then that's when the true contest happens where the
Bengals come to town. The Bengals and the Packers always
have a great matchup in Lambellfield. For whatever reason, his
streak can even you know, go back and prove it.
And then you got to go coast to coast, you
go all the way out to the west to Arizona.
Then you play the matchup that they thought could have

(40:10):
happened last year against the Jets. But the air the
Aaron Rodgers left Pittsburgh Steelers. But like that Week eleven
on Man five away games is gonna be absolutely torture,
and that Broncos game is gonna be unrelenting. The Packers
just have a really difficult time up in Mile High.
You could go back so far and it's just always

(40:31):
their toughest matchup is just the Broncos.

Speaker 5 (40:36):
I have them at ten or eleven, depending on what
happens Week eighteen, depending on.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
I really think, Yeah, I think ten eleven wins is
gonna be perfect for them.

Speaker 3 (40:44):
It's kind of what.

Speaker 5 (40:46):
Colton just said, nine ten eleven wins, Like that's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
They'll compete be in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Not a lot of like not a lot of cold
games were playing in Lambeau Field, and that's like the
Packers like motto. It's like, oh, oh, you don't want
to go to Seattle. You don't want to play in Seattle.
You don't want to go to Foxborough and play a
Tom Brady led Patriots team, Like you don't want to
go to Lambeau where you know you're freezing your nuts off,
Like you don't want to do that, But you don't
have those games? Like what two December games and Week

(41:16):
seventeen could be the A division game? Like okay, who's
gonna win the division? Is gonna be the Ravens or
is gonna be the Packers? Like that Week seventeen game
is gonna be like the premier matchup.

Speaker 6 (41:26):
Dude, all right, now that I look at this again,
their schedule as a whole, Dude, I don't know how
many games as teams winning. You you're I think you're
being very friendly saying three and one. I don't know.
I'm not like they're beating Detroit, Like who knows? We
said we thought Houston was on touch. Now Houston's gonna
be the team to beat this year. They bring in
the weapons, CJ surround year two, He's only gonna get better,

(41:49):
and then he had a slump. It's like, who knows
what Washington's gonna be? Like, what the hell is going
on with McLaurin. Deevo's ain't hurt already again, so like,
who knows what Washington's like? You could possibly give them
a wins home game like Dallas early like who knows,
like and then after that it's like, Okay, congratulations, here's
an early buy. So if you have any injuries late,

(42:10):
you're screwed. Here's an early buye for you that will
give you the Beangals, Arizona whatever, take what you want.
Steers at Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers is gonna be up for
that game, so like who knows how the Steers seasons go,
but Rodgers gonna be up for that game. Then you
got Carolina whatever, Philly, Like, dude, your schedule. I don't

(42:33):
nine nine wins like, it's sure some of the games
could be like a coin toss and you flip it
and it goes to a win b Like, yikes.

Speaker 5 (42:42):
Yeah, I have them splitting most of their pretty much
the division stuff for the most part, And uh, yeah,
I don't know, like nine ten wins. I have them
going I don't know about three and one, like you
said going on bye week, maybe two and two, but like, yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (43:00):
The things I could ease. I could easily see that
being one and three. At the same time, I think
Will's trying to play to the Packer fans with them
not being mad at us. Tay three and one.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
No, they're not making it this far in the video,
so I can say whatever I want. So I say
right now, they're gonna win the super Bowl and they're
not gonna make it that far because they're gonna be big op.
That's aw where there's too much silence. How do you
not know who our first Jordan Jordan Morgan, our first
round pick in twenty twenty four, who's second on our
depth chart? Now? Like, why aren't you talking about him?

(43:32):
That's a dog Like I I like, they're not making
it this far in the video because they're offended by everything.

Speaker 6 (43:40):
But we're gonna make.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
The season successful. Dumb uh. What's the win total that
they claim?

Speaker 3 (43:46):
What does Vegas have them at nine point five wins?
Which is kind of what we just said.

Speaker 6 (43:53):
I would climb it. I think I would take the under.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Honestly, I'll take the under on that.

Speaker 6 (43:59):
Got in my head, Colton, you got to pick one
life for death. Think I'm taking the under.

Speaker 5 (44:04):
Fifty chance at playoffs? I mean, like all of that
is pretty much power. I yeah, I mean that's.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
That's pretty power for what I thought it would be.
To be honest.

Speaker 6 (44:13):
By the way, is a plus or minus? Uh? Does
it show like if you were to bet the under
so that I take there's a website that kind of
compiles all.

Speaker 3 (44:25):
Yeah, so that's kind of what that website is.

Speaker 5 (44:28):
So some maybe some sports books probably have them at
like plus minus ten and a half plus minus nine.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Honestly, I bet you pretty much all of them have
nine and a half. So plus minus.

Speaker 1 (44:42):
What's going to make the season U successful for the
go Pack? Oh?

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Deep playoff run? I think, to be honest with you, like, cool,
you made it last year. You beat Dallas in Dallas,
Like that's.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
Great, doesn't count it's Dallas.

Speaker 5 (44:59):
So yeah, you want a playoff game, Like that's under
the belt. Whatever, You've accomplished that. Now you now need
to make a real playoff run. I think that's ultimately it.
You were seventh in last year, so you even if
you're seventh in just make an impact in the playoffs.
I think that is what makes this successful. Again, I'm
not calling them a Super Bowl candidate yet, but you

(45:21):
make a deep playoff run and maybe I'll think a
little bit better of you next year, which I don't know.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
Actually win a couple playoff games. Yeah against Dallas.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
That's what I mean. Deep playoff run. Give me a
playoff run.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Prove that you're great and not just good, because the
consensus is you're good, not great. Good teams make the
playoffs and don't do anything. Great teams win.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah, too, good with that, I got nothing. Shall we
move on? Sure, let's move on to another darling in
the NFC, the Minnesota Vikings, who last year JJ McCarthy
could have been the QB number one and then a
freakminniscus injury took him out for the entire season, leading

(46:05):
Sam Darnold to be the week one started quarterback somehow
starting five and I would looking the best of his career.
A couple of not bad losses, but you know, they
lost to Detroit in Minnesota. It was a very good game.
Came all the way down to the end of the
missface mask call. In Los Angeles against the Rams on
Thursday Night Football and then with the everything on the line,

(46:28):
Week eighteen could be the number one seed in the NFC.
They fell short and then they had to go to
Arizona to play the Rams because of the wildfires that
were happening in and around Los Angeles. They got absolutely
curb stomp Jared Verse with the meme of the flying
headbut it was not the result that they wanted for
the postseason. But this man here is looking to be

(46:49):
the heir to the throne. The third quarterback to start well,
third different quarterback to start Week one. JJ McCarthy is
looking to be the man that he was at Michigan,
hopefully that the Packers Vikings fans are looking to get.
And we moved to the offense, where just like the Bears,

(47:09):
they revamped their offensive line as well. Ryan Kelly comes
in from the Colts. They released their center who ended
up going to the Patriots. Will Fries also comes in
from the Colts as right guard Donovan Jackson first round
pick Jordan Addison. It came down three game suspension due
to the duy that he had a couple of years
ago out in California. So this opens the door here

(47:33):
for Tim Jones, Rondale Moore, Ty Felton go Urps, and
also Jalen Naylor to be the complimentary number two piece
besides Justin Jefferson. It's also come out of camp that
Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason gonna be splitting carry so
maybe a fifty to fifty down the line there in
the backfield. So for fantasy people, cover your ears and

(47:54):
close your eyes. I don't know what you want to
take with that, but Aaron Jones having a little bit
of a career at a Suns last year with the
Minnesota Vikings, and Jordan Mason was really holding it down
there for the San Francisco forty nine ers amid the
Christian McCaffrey injury. Cotland, I did receive a text and
it was a middle finger for coland a Packers fan.

(48:17):
I am not I'm not lying. I am not lying whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (48:22):
Like I said, I'm not here to ship on the Packers.
I'm just telling you how it is. I just think
they're very bland, and that's I think that's the worst part,
because we give the backers a bad rap. They're very bland.
I don't know what to tell you, honestly, The best
description of them in the AFC is the fucking Steelers.
They're both bland. I don't know what to tell you.

(48:45):
Do something to spice it up. Maybe I'll talk all
the nicer about your teams. I don't know what to
tell you, but I gotta tell you. I am super
excited to watch JJ McCarthy this season.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
We knew you would be ha ha.

Speaker 6 (49:01):
Everyone's shitting on the Michigan gun. That's fine by me.
I don't He's a fucking national change and give me
that ship. JJ, you congra congratulations again. I think his
fiance is pregnant, so congratulations to the McCarthy's. But this
is exactly as a Michigan fan. I wanted to go

(49:21):
to the Giants so I can see him, of course,
with my parents' seven season tickets. But then the other
party was like, they're garbage and they don't have any
weapons or any foundation built for him. He's gonna sock
and this is what I told you he's gonna be.
He's gonna be an ass quarterback rock to New York media.
Fuck the Giants. I'm super happy he's in Minnesota, place

(49:42):
where he's not gonna get all the media. Attention. He's
got a halfway decent offensive line. He's got two weapons
and Jefferson and Hockinson. He will have three eventually with
Addison and Warrens had to drive and not drink while
he's doing it. Aaron Jones had a really good season
for the for the Vikings as well in a bounce
back campaign. I'm very excited to watch JJ McCarthy play

(50:05):
football this season, if I am not saying that enough.
I think he got shipped on in college for a
pro system that wanted to run the football. But when
Michigan needed JJ McCarthy most, he delivered in the clutch
and delivered big win after big win. So I'm a
huge JJ McCarthy fan. I don't know what the tough folks.

(50:28):
I think he's gonna have a great season. I see
Jake down there just laughing inside. I think he's waiting
for the moment with McCarthy with an egg on his face. Sadly,
you're gonna have to keep waiting. I think JJ McCarthy
proves that he's gonna be a legitimate NFL quarterback because
he's in a very good situation. Instead of going to
a shit show like the New.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
York Giants would have been Listen, I didn't make the joke,
Dom did, now are you?

Speaker 1 (50:51):
I think that Jets would have been a worst pick.
At least the Giants can be a little bit competent.
The Jets is just like it's quarterback purgatory.

Speaker 5 (50:58):
You said Colton said that congratulations on his wife, she's pregnant.
I was like, well, that's one completed past. But you
didn't hear it, Jake, that's what we're laughing at. Uh No, genuinely,
I think this is actually a pretty solid setup team.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
I think this is yeah the signs beforehandle that one too.

Speaker 5 (51:18):
Yeah, yeah, I was it was funny, but uh yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (51:25):
Think this is genuinely like a nicely set up team.
The keys are in his hands. That's it.

Speaker 5 (51:31):
Like you either pass or fail here, that's it.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
It's up to you, man. That's either you're good or
you're bad. This is your time to show it.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
Because I think this is like you said, he's got
the weapons, he's got a decent running game, this offensive line.
I think it's fine. It's a team that was very
successful last year. Now, you know, fourteen to three is
crazy expectations. I don't think they hit that. But dude,
if you get double digit wins with this team, I

(52:01):
think you're fine. I don't think you're amazing. Honestly, you're
like fourteen to three. Because if Sam Darnold's doing that,
that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
If Sam Donal could do I think JJ McCarthy can
do it, like you would think Kevin O'Connell's the quarterback whisperer.
So it's like, look at Kirk Cousins' first year, Like
Kirk Cousins was fantastic under him, and then you know,
obviously the Achilles and all that stuff, the pasture not
came out. Josh Dobbs looked amazing.

Speaker 3 (52:24):
Like a team set up. Man, the ball is in
your court, like you can't ask for. You know, Caleb
Bullns came into the Bears last year and we were
like dream they really brought him all these weapons blah
blah blah.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
And that fell on its face real hard. So like,
this is here, we are balls in your court. Let's
see what you do with it. I think that's ultimately
just it. You know, if he's good, he's gonna be
good with this team. If he's not ready, he's not good,
then well I think we'll see that, but it's uh,
now testing time.

Speaker 4 (53:00):
Here we are.

Speaker 1 (53:02):
This offensive line I think can be competing with the Eagles.
Obviously the Eagles offensive line is just eons better, but
I think this could be honestly the second best offensive
line in the NFC. I mean, derres so, I think
he did not play the rest of the year, so
obviously with him coming back is gonna be really big
for the blind side of JJ McCarthy. Bran O'Neil is
still a dog. If you know Ryan Kelly and Fries
they played together on the same offensive line in Indy.

(53:25):
There's that definitely chemistry there. And then Donovan Jackson, You're
you're really wrapping him around a really solid offensive line.

Speaker 5 (53:33):
Like I said, this is a good team. This is
a legitimately good team with weapons.

Speaker 6 (53:38):
So in an athletic quarterback.

Speaker 1 (53:41):
By the way, I'm not gonna Let's also not forget
Sam Howell the goat. Never forget the commander's part of that.

Speaker 3 (53:51):
I mean, if he has to step in, that's a
lot of yards.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Sam how can do same? How could step in if
he absolutely needs to. Uh, let's go to the defense here,
where Brian Flores for the third year, I believe guy
in this team. Last year they were really they were explosive,
they were going doing everything right.

Speaker 3 (54:09):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
They bring in the big pieces, Jeff Okuda from Houston.
Isaiah Rodgers, who was after his suspension for the gambling policy,
returns to Philly plays a little bit. He goes to
the Vikings. Javon Hargraves only after a year got released
by the Niners. He finds himself in Minnesota. And then
Jonathan Allen, who really was talking everything about leaving Washington.

(54:30):
He goes to the Vikings and do you have that?

Speaker 3 (54:33):
Really?

Speaker 1 (54:33):
You have a really good linebacking corps there. I think
it's one of the most underrated units in the league.
They do not get enough love. Andrew Van Gickle, Ivan Pace, Junior,
Blake Cashman, Jonathan Gernard. Dogs, that's what they are. They're dogs.
One of the best, well, I think one of the
best units in the league. They do not get enough
love and they need your dog starts barking.

Speaker 5 (54:58):
I think this is a really good team. To be honest,
I actually really like the personnel here. I think this
is this is a really.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
It's improved defense, even tougher and more exciting looking team
than the Packers.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
Yeah, well there you go.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Brian Floress just knows what he's doing, and like I
just I'm gonna keep taking shots at the softest team
in the league.

Speaker 3 (55:20):
I do think this is a really good team. I
actually really do.

Speaker 5 (55:22):
I kind of discounted him earlier when we were talking
about the Bears, saying that the Vikings are gonna fall
and like the Bears might have a chance to jump
the Vikings. I kind of feel like I want to
take that back. After looking at this.

Speaker 1 (55:32):
Flores made this like unit one of the best in
the league. Like, and that's obviously like Stephon Gilmore is
not there anymore. He's currently a free agent, so he
could honestly bounce back if you know, something were to happen.
Not wishing anything would happen to the secondary, but if
something were to happen, that you got a guy who
could fill in and you know, be in the secondary.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
Jonathan Allen's also very good.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
Like Byron Murphy's really good. I think he got an extension.
I might have been last year. Might be confusing it
with this year, but Harrison Smith, it might be the
last year. Harrison Smith too, So it's like, dude's thirty six,
so it's unfortunate. Allegedly, I've seen good things from Jack
Pakuda in camp.

Speaker 5 (56:13):
Yeah, I always see his name and I'm like sick,
But we've historically seen otherwise.

Speaker 3 (56:20):
I guess, but I don't know.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
Mkai black Makai Blackman another year off the ACL injury
that he suffered his rookie year, so he could be
back to for him and be that potential I don't know,
guy that could fill in, maybe even start a couple
games for you down the line.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
This is this is a tough team.

Speaker 6 (56:37):
I think this team's gross. Yeah, this team's actually this
is this is like a carbon copy maybe clearly a
b version of it of the Philadelphia Eagles. You look
at the Eagles, They're built up front on both sides
of the ball, and so is Minnesota. I love Jonathan Allen.

(56:58):
I love that movie for the Vikings. Hargrave, if he
can stay healthy, is very very good. So he got
his damn big bag when he left pittsburghaus he was
thready started off. It sucked losing him as between him
and bud Dupree. Stewards paid bud Dupree and let Hard
grape walk and he had a God, I forgot same
friend didn't win Super Bowl, went to Super Bowl San

(57:20):
Fran weeding up front with that defense. I think there's
a very really, really disgusting front in Minnesota. And if
McCarthy plays good football and they have a good run game,
if Aaron Jones continues of what he did last season,
I think the sky is the limit for this team. Honestly,
it all comes down to see what McCarthy can do. Dude,

(57:45):
I love what Minnesota's doing before we.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
Get to the schedule. I just think it's funny that
we like went through the Packers and we said, like, man,
this is he's so not exciting, And here we are
at the Vikings, like this is sick. This guy libit.

Speaker 6 (58:07):
I'm psyched.

Speaker 1 (58:07):
But it's like it's not like it just a bunch
and it's not like, oh hey, it's like no one
that's popping out. Like listen, like Daniel Hunter left last
year and it's like, okay, yeah, they bringing Van Gigle,
they bringing Grenard and like those guys that Houston's paying
Daniel Hunter for like they're performing really good. Blake Cashman, Yeah,
it wasn't perfect with the Jets. He had an okay,
one year with the Texans, and then last year like

(58:28):
he was performing with the Vikings, like this is a
really good unit. And then I have in Pace an
undrafted free agent, like he's this is a great this
is like this is one of my favorite linebacking corps
in the league. It really is.

Speaker 3 (58:39):
I think there's a lot of fresh on this team.

Speaker 5 (58:41):
There's a lot of kind of like a newer feel
of this team, like this is not a team that
we've been seeing necessarily.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Even like a pushover team, Like this team can do
everything that can be set on them.

Speaker 3 (58:54):
It's exciting to see what they will do. And with that,
let's look at the schedule.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
Where they go Week one, Monday Night Football against the
Minnesota Vikings. Sorry that this was blurry. I don't even
know what the hell happened here, But yeah, I don't
know what the theme is with the NFC North early bys.
Week number six is the bye for the Vikings. But hey,
Michael Penick junior, he comes back. Maybe Kirk Cousins is playing.
Who knows, but hey, a Kirk revenge game, Michael Pennis game,

(59:23):
who knows who's starting there? And then listen the LSU
game Joe Burrow Jamar Chase comes to down to face
Justin Jefferson. The Ireland game for Week four against the Steelers,
and then a London game Week five against the Cleveland Browns.
It makes sense for the early buye and then the
I don't know that Eagles game listen. It might not
look good now, but I think that could be like

(59:44):
one of those games that think of flex really early on.
Making a four to twenty five start, maybe a Sunday
night football game that's gonna be fun, and then returning
to LA but this time you play the Chargers. I
don't know. I think this team could do eleven wins. Obviously,
fourteen wins I think is way out of proportion, but
I think eleven wins can be you know, a really
good like center point centerpiece.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
For this team.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Ten winning that green Bay game at the end, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
I'm with ten.

Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
I was kind of loosely doing it, not too defined
with the teams because there's a lot of you know,
especially in division with Detroit with green Bay, either of
any of those games could be toss ups.

Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
But yeah, I mean I kind of float them around ten.

Speaker 5 (01:00:28):
Maybe if that Green Bay game has to be such
a competitive game, then there.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
Gets in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
WI Yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 5 (01:00:38):
I think I think that this division really could kind
of shape up like it was last year, where if
the Vikings win Week eighteen, we see the same order
and maybe even Green Bay makes the seventh into the
playoffs again for that reason. And I mean this this
really could be the second team in the division, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
I mean, like.

Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
We got to bury the Bears a little bit. In
this division, it's kind of rough.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
But the only thing that has no shot.

Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
Yeah, it's unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
I mean, Seahawks, you're gonna play Sam Donald? Uh not scared.
I mean, listen, the Vikings went up there last year.
Sam Donald won that game for them, So it's like, yeah,
I don't know, Like I think the only game I'd
be concerned about is like a late like a mid
December game against the Cowboys. But other than that, I

(01:01:32):
don't know. I still think eleven wins is good. What
does the chart say, dom.

Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Uh, they're tied with like whatever, the Bears.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
They only have them slightly ahead of the Bears. That's
just because i'mccarthy, to be honest, I.

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
Think mcarthy could be really good if Donald could be.
If Donald was fantastic last year, thirty seven touchdowns he
threw like he should have won MVP.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
I make fun of mcarthy because of Michigan and I
just you know, it's just easy because of the amount
of handoffs he had.

Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
But the dude wins games. He wins games.

Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
It's a little bit of the to bring it back
to the diet Eagles comment that Coldon made, it's a
little bit of Jalen Hurts, like he just wins games.

Speaker 5 (01:02:17):
Yeah, this is they haven't met eight and a half wins,
forty playoffs. I really honestly have a hard time saying
that they're not going to be better than that. Like,
I really think they're going to be better than that.
I think this is.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
This is a double digit win team, which is pretty great.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
And they're well coached like O'Connell and you know Flores, Yeah,
Josh McCown offensive coordinator, Like.

Speaker 5 (01:02:41):
We do have to watch out because these are one
of those teams every year unfortunately, where we are super
optimistic on this show and we fall flat on our
face and it all goes downhill.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
That's when the Packers fans joined this video and say, oh,
you guys are a bunch of clowns.

Speaker 6 (01:02:58):
Was gonna suck balls last season. So this is the team.
I completely I.

Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Said this team was gonna be good. Did I pick
him to make the playoffs?

Speaker 6 (01:03:04):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
I fell for the damn bear scheme again, the bear
not scheme, the bear scam because it's bs. That's what
it is. Bear scam. BS.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Remember that when the Packers fans all come back, just
remember that that's the franchise.

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
It's scared of a one yard play?

Speaker 5 (01:03:24):
H What makes this what makes this season successful?

Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
For what you got? JJ McCarthy man. Listen, if Darnold
through thirty seven touchdowns has a career renaissance, he's a
year into the system. He's been sitting through these meetings.
He's been around this team.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
They showed him on the sideline all last year like
he was with them. He's gonna know so much about
this team. He knows so much about these players. So
let's see what you can do. Obviously, playing versus learning
is two different things. What can you do to get
the rust off you? And you haven't really played a
real game since playing the PAC twelve watch Orhington Huskies
in the National Championship Game in early twenty twenty four.

(01:04:06):
He's playing preseason week one two. I think they said
they're putting him out there to test the waters, figure
it all out. I like it obviously is like JJ
gonna be out there, like like justin Jefferson. I can't
even call him JJ anymore because now there's two goldna
be confusing both of them.

Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
Yeah, I think it's really just, you know, stay kind
of on pace on this team. You got double digit
wins last year. Fourteen to three is a lot to
ask for. You can't ask for that, but man, if
you win, if you're second in the division this year,
that's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
I'm I call that success. I don't know cool.

Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Should we move on? Does anyone have a taste of kneecaps?
Do you like the taste of the shin bone in them?
Followed by a Fema at night femur soup kneecap griddle?
But anyway, The Detroit Lions. The Detroit Lions twenty twenty three.
They were a couple four downs away from being the

(01:05:12):
NFC representatives in the Super Bowl against Kansas City Chiefs. Obviously,
the forty nine ers had other things in mind. The
coordinator state Ben Johnson or Glenn State. They said, we're
gonna run this back, We're gonna do it better than ever,
and we're gonna kick ass and bite more kneecaps off.
And this team was electric. Only two losses last year,
won early on against the Buccaneers despite Aiden Hutchinson having

(01:05:33):
one of the best defensive games in Detroit Lions history.
The offense was looking really great. The defense was finding
ways to win despite injuries piling up from Alexanders alone,
both the corner safeties, Aiden Hutchinson's broken let, everyone was
going through injuries on that team and they were finding
ways to win. Ended up winning winning that last game

(01:05:55):
of the year, getting the first round by over the
Minnesota Vikings, although they fell short against a very electric
Jaden Daniels. This team is looking to rebound with now
a new offensive and defensive coordinator at the helm. As
I'm looking at the coordinators, John Morton the offensive coordinator,

(01:06:16):
and defensive is Kelvin Sheppard. So yeah, that's what we
got going on here for the Detroit Lions. As we
move into the offense here, a lot is the same.
I mean, Frank ragnow retired only age twenty nine for
the Lions, so Graham Glasgow. He's going to be filling

(01:06:38):
in there. No, I'm sorry, he was guard. Tate Rattledge.
A lot of good positive news out of him from camp,
really filling in this role that you know, obviously they
were not expecting to have out this year, but more
so next year. But Ratledge electric, as is Jamison Williams.
Fourth year in the league. He had his first one
thousand year season last year. A monros Saint Brown. We

(01:07:00):
know the word, guys, dog, that's who it is. Jamier
Gibbs still electric. Change the number to zero. I think
that's new this year. Don't correct me if I'm wrong.
And then Dave Montgomery coming off of the torn mcl
injury that he I think came back for for that
Divisional round game against the Washington Commanders. But yeah, SAMs

(01:07:23):
Dance Skippers still there, Pana So well, this offensive line
is still good. There's not a lot of change. But
obviously the big question is the offensive coordinator. How are
they gonna feel fill in the John Morton being the
offensive coordinator outside of Ben Johnson? What's that going to be?

Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
News?

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Early though, Jamier Gibbs lining up at slot receiver in camp.
So the gadgets, keep on gadgeting for the lines.

Speaker 6 (01:07:54):
Yeah, this team is gonna be good again. Let's see
what they look like without Ben John. I think that's
kind of the big point. You can kinda not the
bullshit it, but you don't really have the way at
this roster. It's kind of you know what you're getting
from them. It comes down to the coordinators. How different
does it look for this Whyon's team with a lot

(01:08:14):
of new faces in higher positions. That's kind of where
I think this team goes to. When I look at it.

Speaker 5 (01:08:23):
John Morton looks like he's built this team.

Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
Why.

Speaker 1 (01:08:29):
He sounds like an ESPN guy that's at the desk.

Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
Have you saw the picture. I have not seen an.

Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
Actual photo of him.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
He just.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
So it's just like the Stan Campbell junior. It's the
Sun double.

Speaker 3 (01:08:45):
That hell dude. He literally just looks like he's kind
of just built to be on this team. That's hilarious.
I googled him.

Speaker 5 (01:08:56):
And I was like, there's the first thing that showed
was that pick And I was like, cool, all right,
so whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:09:03):
I Yeah, I don't know. They gotta try to accomplish that.

Speaker 5 (01:09:07):
You know what The Eagles managed to accomplish with the
different coordinators and stuff and having them changed it out
and still find the success. That's just what they have
to try to accomplish. You know, you got the same guys,
get the same team, get the same culture.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
They got the it's all there.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
The only worried about is, like you look at the Eagles.
Eagles went to the Super Bowl. They lost you know,
mrr and they lost uh whatever his faces Steichen, Yeah,
they lost him, and they they look good and then
they got exposed and it was just kind of like
the same kind of like bs they were running for
the last couple of games and you kind of fell
flat on their face. Obviously, Dan Campbell's not gonna allow

(01:09:48):
bullshit like that to like go through that team. But
you know, still worrying because you did lose two really
good coordinators and they're now head coaches elsewhere in this league.

Speaker 5 (01:10:00):
Oh uh okay, So he's Morton guided the passing game
of bow Knicks last year.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
Okay, Okay, so they're they're in good hands.

Speaker 5 (01:10:17):
That sounds pretty solid because we thought they overperformed.

Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
And that's something that that's as kind of a style
and skill set that it's pretty Jared goff pretty well.

Speaker 3 (01:10:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:10:27):
Fits fits the Dan Campbell team pretty well, the whole
you know, grittiness of how bow Next played last year
in that offense. All right, whatever, cool, That sounds like a
good resume, I guess, at least recent recently.

Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
So okay, I guess I'm down. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
Oh man, I got nothing else to say on this offense.
I don't know who want to jump to defense. But
on the defensive side of the football, they were just
down depleted fifth stringers coming in, they were finding ways
to win. They bring in DJ Reid, who left the
Jets after just kind of like a very bad end
of their season last year. But with Terry On Arnold
entering his second year, you still have Kirby Joseph and

(01:11:09):
Brian Branch one of the more underrated duos safety duos
in the league. Of Ante Maddox comes in from Philadelphia. Yeah,
Tyler Williams first round pick Aiden Hutchinson. He looks phenomenal
coming off of that broken leg injury. Yeah, yeah, I

(01:11:30):
think this team is in good hands. Obviously Alecton's alone,
Jack Campbell in the middle of the defense, there being
really good Mark Stavenport. I think it really fell into
his own. But I want to turn the conversation, you guys,
what are you guys looking out for with the Detroit
Lions with Calvin Shepard? Yes, yes, as.

Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
The line coach for the last he was a linebackers
coach for the last four seasons. So it's it's kind
of you know that it makes sense.

Speaker 5 (01:12:01):
As long as he can scheme it together and do
the right things, I think it's fine.

Speaker 3 (01:12:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
It's the thing with them was, even with all the
injuries they had, if they just didn't have a bonehead
play calls in that game against the Commanders like they don't,
we don't get robbed of the cage match we deserve
between the Lions and Eagles.

Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
When you flash back to the Week one of twenty
twenty two, that was a phenomenal matchup and it probably
would have been even better because now you have people
that understand both systems. Yeah, I'm happy.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
I'm really happy they were gonna get that game regular
season regardless this year.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
Now are they the same teams? Who knows?

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
But I respect the hell out of this team. What
Dan Campbell has done and what the team that they've
built there is damn impressive.

Speaker 5 (01:12:50):
I really think everyone enjoys watching this team. Everyone roots
for this team.

Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
If you don't like this team, you don't like football.

Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
Yeah, well football.

Speaker 5 (01:12:59):
I mean the only people that I don't like this
team are the people in the division and that's it.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Well, they don't like football either up in Green Bay.

Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
So I it's, you know, whatever this is.

Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
I expect to see another really good Detroit Lions team.
They I mean, they had a hell of a season
last year. I don't know if I expect that, but
I expected, you know, twelve plus win team, hopefully a
number of force in the NFC and a force in
the league. So that's I really think that's what we

(01:13:31):
should expect.

Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Also, the only NFC team that didn't vote to band
the Push, that voted to keep the Pushbush Yeah, well,
because they're not scared, because they actually play football.

Speaker 3 (01:13:44):
Dan Campbell football. Do you want to go to the schedule.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Let's go to the schedule here again. Week one, big
matchup Green Bay. We were really cheated out Week one, well,
the Green Bay matchup last year in lambeau Field due
to it being a monsoon up there. So hopefully drier
conditions and it'll be warm, so we're gonna be expecting
something good. But yes, home game week one, Ben Johnson's return,

(01:14:09):
what are you gonna do? Are you gonna show up
or are you gonna let Ben Johnson kind of like
exposure for whatever that you might have. And then week
three they returned to Baltimore. Last time they were in Baltimore,
they got absolutely herbstom to decaps bent in backwards. Yeah,
this is this is a solid schedule. And then the

(01:14:29):
Chiefs the Bucks, like you're playing oh man.

Speaker 3 (01:14:35):
This is a tough schedule.

Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
This is tough, but like it's like it's okay, like
we went over like the Eagle schedule. Like, yes, Eagle
schedule is tough, but it's like when you have a
good team, it's obviously not as tough. Like obviously the
Lion's tough schedule, it's not as tough because of the
team that they have. Obviously they kind of get like
a tuning up period the first two weeks playing the
Packers and then the Bears. Then you know, now you

(01:14:58):
gotta go to Baltimore. You got to show up in Baltimore.
Last time you were there, I mean it was not good.
It was not a good luck for them then, But
I still think this could be like a twelve win
thirteen win team.

Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
I got eleven, so that's still more than I counted
for any other team in this division.

Speaker 6 (01:15:18):
Yeah, I see them around eleven, twelve, thirteen, Max, I
just don't see thirteen.

Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
I was in the schedule Unlike last year. I mean
they had three outdoor games the entire year. This year
they got a lot of outdoor games.

Speaker 6 (01:15:34):
Yeah, but nothing a little crazy weather though. Again they
somehow it's like that they avoid putting the Lions outside
in the in the cold. If you've noticed that, the
coldest game they'll have is the Bears Week eight team,
which can mean absolutely nothing for them. I'm trying to
think their home VERSUT Pittsburgh, Like, that's not cold, Minnesota's

(01:15:55):
in the Dome La is La. It's the Bears. Like, sure,
Philly in November, Okay, you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Will be cold. Nighttime, it's going to be cold. You'll
get cold there. That could be thirties. I'm sure to
figure out why they I think there's a they definitely
messed up the schedule here. They roll eight twenty five,
eight twenty five am for that Cowboys game, and it's
been throwing me off now that I've really picked up
on that is it London? But which one's the wait?
Which ones? They don't have a London game this year?

(01:16:27):
Which one's the Thanksgiving cause that's a loss?

Speaker 6 (01:16:31):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
Do was that the the Packers in Week thirteen? Yeah?
Definitely has to be the Packers.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Has to be because that's all.

Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
Yeah it is. Yeah, it's the it's the Packers.

Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Yeah, yeah, but we'll be they'll split.

Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
Yeah, I mean, like whatever, twelve ones what Vegas probably
hasn't I mean eleven Vegas hen wins on the dot
sixty three percent playoffs.

Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
I mean, oh, so that the Cowboys game is actually
Thursday night football for them. So I don't know why
it's eight twenty five am.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Someone someone's getting fired.

Speaker 1 (01:17:16):
I think that was just a screw up.

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
Yeah, that's rough.

Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
Hey, it's great, we all screw up a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:17:23):
It's okay.

Speaker 3 (01:17:24):
I don't know where do you get that from? Now?
What do you? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:17:29):
I don't know, odd, but yeah, sure, I mean this
will be just the team that we have come to
know and come to love rooting for.

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
Just to stay healthy.

Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
Yeah, I mean really the only like what I.

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
Was fully convinced though, that they like vooo they had
last year all the injuries, was like karmick justice for
Kirby Joseph.

Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
Yeah, well is he still on the team. I didn't
look at their defensive roster, which guy Kirby Joseph?

Speaker 5 (01:18:03):
Yeah, okay, well whatever, what makes that successful this season?

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
Not just slumping with the loss of your coordinators.

Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
Yeah, it's just kind of running it back, right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
Not even running it back, just get better. I mean, listen,
you were a couple fourth down conversions away from being
the Super Bowl and then obviously a very bad game
with a defense that was absolutely depleted.

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
Yeah, the last two years, there's just a couple of
bonehead play calls away from Super Bowl and NFC Championship game.
Do we want to Oh boy, here we go. You've
got the wheel right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
The wheels here, Colon. I know you haven't been here
the last couple episodes, and somehow we are left with
the two worst divisions in football in the NFC West.

Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
We we thought that it's because you you haven't been here,
so it's waiting.

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
Just to spite you, it's waiting here. So we left
it as is. We have to Oh good god.

Speaker 3 (01:19:11):
So we don't want to do both souths in the
same freaking day.

Speaker 5 (01:19:17):
So we're trying to knock it out. But it seems
like the wheel has had other plans. So we're really
leaving it up to destiny.

Speaker 6 (01:19:24):
Here.

Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
Really want the South.

Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
If it gives us West, then we know. I mean,
it's just meant to be. We're meant to do South
just all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
So here goes Ah, is there a better one that
we want? Right now? There's three? And wait, oh no,
never mind, let's spin the wheel, spin the wheel. Now,
let's just get this over with.

Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
I think just does not want to do the Falcons again.
I don't blame them. Here goes a whole bunch of nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
Thank god, thank god, I can't do it. Okay, thank
the Lord.

Speaker 4 (01:20:02):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
Okay, not the most exciting episode.

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Uh, thirty minutes max the shortest one by far. Its
every team's getting at least twelve minutes, at least at
the maximum. It's like we talked about the Texans and
then everyone else can kind of just go away. Oh hey,
you know they drafted this guy in first overall.

Speaker 2 (01:20:23):
Oh well, okay, I'll have like a five minute conversation
about Daniel Jones starting quarterback.

Speaker 3 (01:20:28):
Yeah, yeah, literally, it's all right.

Speaker 5 (01:20:33):
Well, so uh, how do we decide the last episode?

Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
We have to spin and then whoever it lands on
then we pick first.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
I say we just do a tune up with the
South and then go right into the fun one.

Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
It'd be fine if we had to do the falcons
like last.

Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
We'll have to spin the wheel and see it. We'll
give like a hundred slices or something, and then we
can't even see where it's going to land. No, it'll
tell you. It'll just pop it up. No, we won't
see it as or goal. We just get really nervous
as it's spinning three.

Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
That might be fun.
