Speaker 1 (00:00):
Gentlemen to another installment for the Fan, episode number one
sixty seven. As always, I am well and we got done.
We got Jake, gentlemen, Hello, what's up?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
You can follow us on all the social media platforms
down below, Youtubo for the Fan Network, TikTok for the
fin network, X for the Fan Underscore, and Instagram for
the fan football. Gentlemen, we have just on TikTok. Right now,
we are ninety nine viewers away from breaking well, ninety
nine followers away from getting two thousand followers.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We're almost there. But it was a great week too.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Apparently Scott Hansen had like the performance of a lifetime
during the morning window early window of a red zone.
So that was something I didn't get to hear or
watch it, but that's what I heard through the grape vines.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Any quick thoughts about week two from y'all's.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I thought it was a good week. I had fun
this week. Night games I think are still back.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yeah, my sleep is screwed because I've been staying. I
stayed at the wall the Yeah, the late night Chargers
Raiders game, and then also the Phillies are playing the
Dodgers at the same time, so I would staying up
for that. So my sleep is just screwed.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
It's kind of.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Valid the infamous doubleheader.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Here. We got one fantasy question, but we'll be answering
all these at five thirty. So Justin came in here
to sake one for Jonathan Taylor and Zach Ertz. He
has Dalton kinkaid right now.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I didn't hear it.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
One four Jonathan Taylor and Zach Ertz.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Hey, Jonathan Taylor is like the best rusher in the
league at this very moment, so it might not be
the worst trade. No, it really kind of might not,
and they're they're gonna rely on on JT pretty hard.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Zach hurt is a big part of that offense too.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, yes he is. He's genuinely like.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
That could be a nice, you know, gold your roster
with one player kind of like out of one player
kind of deal.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
And a red zone threat too, both of them.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Really, we're gonna be talking some more at about five
thirty Eastern, So if you guys want to stick around
for that, we're gonna go through a regular spiel of
a podcast. But for everyone watching, if this is your
first time, are returning a viewer.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
You are listening to for the fan.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
You are listening to for the fan, and Derby returns

(02:38):
for a second week just for the spray care.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Here, you know what?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Here, I'm gonna do this all right. This expired back
in June thirtieth, so it's even funnier here. Watch this,
all right?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I opened it just for you.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Are you gonna drink it?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I'll take a sip for you, dirty, I'll take one
little sip.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
You're gonn to drink the dollar thing? Come on, they're
not gonna waste one of those.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
You know, you're right, I'm not going to. But there
is a lot of stuff going on around the league.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
We want to talk about quarterbacks because well, this is
just the bigger portion of the show. Usually there's a
nice big headline that we could start off with. But
for quarterbacks, okay, uh yeah. For a lot of people
in TikTok here talking fantasy right now. I don't know
who drafted Joe Burrow, but tow injury, he's gonna be
out at least three months. The Bengals are hopeful who'll

(03:30):
be back in December. They already put him on IR
along with him JJ McCarthy's knocked out a couple games
with the high ankle spring. He can't really travel with it,
and they got two trips going on with Dublin and
then they're gonna go to London for a game like
right after that. So very big, uh weirdness going on
around the league. Jaden Daniels apparently might try to practice Friday,

(03:51):
according to Dan Quinn.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
So that's, uh, yeah, we got that.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
But gentlemen, Joe Burrow another year, another pretty significant injury.
First it was the ACL's rookie year. Then he has
that exploding wrist injury on a Thursday night game to
Joe Mixon.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
And now a toe.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Injury on a what looked like a routine sack.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's like, I looked it up because I'm like, how
does turf toe knock you out that long? So there's
grades to it, and so if you need surgery, means
you tore whatever the ligament is that is involved the turf.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Toe towards several of them, according to sources. So I
don't know what several means. I mean, I've broken my
toe before. That's not a fun injury. The big toe
is probably the worst toe next to the pinky toe.
Probably did they.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Use the term turf toe in any other sport?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Is there hockey ice toe?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
At those points in time, you like destroy and tear
apart your knee, ankle and everything else. So that's a
whole difference to.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Just break your entire foot from a slapshot.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
You did that too, Yeah, no, because I don't know,
I never really heard the term anywhere else other than football,
And turf toe's kind of like such a broad like
you were saying, there's like tears to it and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Great somewhere like separates from itself.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Like brock Pardy has turf toe too, but apparently it's
more significant than what his shoulder injury is. But he's
apparently practicing about right now according to Kyle Shanahan, so
he's gonna be limited. So that's a step in the
right direction for him obviously. You know, as what Jake mentioned,
there's a bunch of different grades to it.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
But are the Bengals done?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Two and oh the first two win oh starts? Since
god knows, when are are they finished?

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Are we?

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I mean, what's what do you considering finished? Because like
if they have Joe Burrow, your hope is always super
Bowl because how good he is. So if that's the standard,
then yes, they're done.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, I don't know. You gotta you gotta hope he's
still in the spot, like still still in the h
and everything at least going into him being healthy so
that he can then pick them up and carry them
over into playoffs and then maybe who knows, maybe that's exciting.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, he would have to black ace it like be
in contention until the end of the season in December,
and then he comes back and plays the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
So you think, cause it's like twelve weeks they say,
if he gets surgery like today, it will be you know,
December seventeenth. If everything goes exactly how it's supposed to
go to according to plan, you would think, you know,
the Bengals would have to win at least seven or
eight games. With how the AFC is, there might be
a team that squeezes in at nine wins, but you
got to think like seven or eight wins just to

(06:41):
be safe with Burrow. But you know, maybe five or
six at a minimum, because what week fifteen sixteen is
going to be about, you know, December seventeenth ish, So
you have to put that into you know the thought
process behind that as well.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I think Browning can win your game games.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Yeah, you already.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I think he's one of the better backups in the league,
Like he proved that the year that Joe Burrow's risk exploded,
like he was good.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
They already have two wins under your belt, so like
you know, you're you're ahead of schedule, especially if you're
the Bengals, so you know, yeah, they can afford to
lose games when if they go five zero, Like if
they go five hundred from here out until Burrow comes

(07:29):
back there, I think would be in a position for
Burrow again, like I said, to pick them up and
carry them into playoffs. From there, then it's not the
easiest road in playoffs, but it just is what it is.
No playoffs is necessarily an easy road.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
So they didn't have an easy road when they went
to the super Bowl exactly.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Yeah, So I if they again go five hundred, I
think they'll be okay, which I I think it's doable.
Like with Jake Browning, I think that's doable. The rest
of the team is still there, the weapons. If he
plays average as hell, I think they can be five hundred.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
So I was looking up the question if turf toe
does exist in other sports, and it does, you know,
across you know, like soccer and basketball, football, and then
there's football, basketball, like all those other sports.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
But I was googling it.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I literally put does turf toe exist in And the
first recommended thing was fantasy football? And I started laughing hysterically.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I think some people would say, it really does. It's
existing for one of the three of us right now,
it's for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
So oh my god, that was that was funny.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
That gave me a really good laugh there. But yeah,
I mean, hey, JJ McCarthy as well. He's dealing with
an ankle injury. He's I think he's been ruled out
this week already. So against the potential LSU remat like
LSU teammates thing with the Chase and Jeffer and that
would have been Burrow, but Burrow is now out for
at least three months.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Carson Wentz gets his first start since Week eighteen on
the Los Angeles Rams way back twenty twenty three, the
Sam Donald and Carson Wentz Bowl. That was that was
something there a couple of years back. And also speaking
of it, Joe Justin Feels has also been ruled out
this week concussion. Tyrod Taylor starts his first game in

(09:25):
six hundred twenty three days. According to uh someone I read,
I think it was rapaport. He probably butchered that and
meant like four hundred or something, who knows, Yeah, and
then Jaded Daniels knee injury spring knee. He had the
MRI looks okay. I think they said he might try
to practice on Friday, but there's not a guarantee that

(09:45):
he will play. So obviously Marcus Mariota, the backup, would
be filling in for him, who he started last year
for against the Panthers, and he looked pretty good against them.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
So a lot of injuries around the league.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
And I'm going to shift the process here the banner here,
We're gonna go to the injury round up.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Can we talk about something real quick? Yes, you mentioned
the quarterbacks, Like how much of a stab in the
back it is to me that we're gonna get to
see Carson Wentz and Juster Jefferson together, Like anyone think
about that for a second. That it was almost like
the Jalen Riger thing never happened.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Who's the guy during COVID that like blew up on
the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
See, we got Travis Fulgum. That was better than Justin Jefferson.
Come on, and.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Travis folglan for four weeks.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Foga mania. Alrighty, let me figure out where I want
to start here. Uh again, we already talked about all
these already.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Uh, let's see scroll up a little bit.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Let's see that's uh Ge and Daniels. We're not there already.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Cowboys center Uh Cooper baby babe out eight weeks with
a high ankle spring. So they ended up signing jidevon
Clowney to replace his roster spot there the whole flag
football thing. We can also talk about that as well.
Buccaneers defensive tackle Clide you Canti. I believe he torus
pectoral muscle Monday night, So he's done for the year.

(11:15):
Very tough blow for that defensive front there in Tampa Bay.
Let's scroll up a little bit more. Khalil mack elbow entry.
He was put on ir it's, you know, just something
that they have to do. So he's out at least
for the next four games for the Los Angeles Chargers.

(11:37):
I'm really butchering us the Bengals alongside with that, they
signed Mike White and Sean Clifford to their practice squad,
so some people getting some experience underneath their Seawan Clifford,
the big red dog.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Uh Man, Where the fuck is all the news here?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Jesus?

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Oh yeah, the big one, Chel McVay, tourist plainter Messias
Pasiah Fascia. Yeah, big tough blow for the Rams there
and no dom from experience.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
How's the injury with that?

Speaker 2 (12:15):
He'll probably have deal with it for the rest of
his life, not in like you'll know about your way,
but like you get up in the morning and you
gotta stretch it out every morning. It's a it's not
a fun process.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Listen, I got planner. Fascia is too, so it's fun.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
It's not fun. But I mean, like it's not like
I don't even think what I mean. He tore it,
so I don't know what that entitles. But like you'll
probably see him in like a little boot or something
maybe for a couple of weeks and he'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Aaron Jones placed on injury reserve for the Viking, so
Jordan Mason will be seeing running back one snap there
for at least the next couple of weeks. I'm just
trying to figure out where all the.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
News is here.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
There was just I literally saw all of it.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Now I don't see any of it. Uh.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Jidan Reid, he underwent surgery yesterday to fix a broken
clavicle and then a fracture in his left foot. He's
don definitely obviously Baker Mayfield, who appeared to have gotten
hurt after a weird hit on a quarterback run. But
you know, as what Baker Mayfield does, he has to
remember his talk shit to a defender after every single play.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Uh yeah, that was funny. That was That was pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
And then Joe Burrow gets you know, you know, a
fade from that because he talked about ten toes and
all that stuff, and Burrow obviously just has nine toes
for the time being with his injury going on. So
that was what's going on.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
There's CT Tua, who's just off the rails in some other.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Field left field CT two of my new favorite thing.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Just saying the most insane.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Stuff, throwing picks to die when the receiver is not
even there, Saying things like podium.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Borderline incriminating things. That's just not helping the Dolphins stock whatsoever.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Can I talk about my theory. What says him, his
way of asking for without the bad pr ask you
for a trade.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I'm in. The team needs to blow up. It's over.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
So Baker Mayfield may take some time off this week,
but he will be playing against the Jets on Sunday.
The Bills ruled out At Oliver and Matt Mulano for
Thursday nights game against the Miami Dolphins, So two of
the big bruisers there on the Bills defense, uh, will
not be in a uniform.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Bill when you said the opponent and then I uh.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Falcons cornerback ag Terrell is week to week with a
hamstring injury, so that's pretty significant news for a cornerback
one there in Atlanta. They are facing the Carolina Panthers
on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Trap game. It is a trap game hardly, but yeah, sure.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
And as we mentioned before, Dan quinc saidad and Daniels
has a good rehab session for his knees spraying. He
won't practice till Friday at the earliest. So another sign
that Mark Smarriott.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Could be playing on Sunday. Who knows.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
We're going to be figuring that out as time gets closer.
Christian Gonzalez who has the hamstring injury, was set to
practice today. I haven't seen any update for that. Darren
Waller has been ruled out yet again. Jayalen Wattall is
questionable with a shoulder injury.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Uh, and I think that's it.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I don't have anything else here. Oh, Brock Party up limited.
As I mentioned before, Yeah, Brock Party has a chance
at least to play on Sunday per Kyle Shanahan. So
that's what we're looking at there.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
It makes no sense if he did.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
No, the Niners cycle is now. Matt Jones will be
the starter forever.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Listen, we didn't listen, Kyle shan Kyle Shanahan traded away
three first round picks and probably some other draft capital
to get the dollh whatever it was. It was like
the Dolphins pick and then the Eagles. I don't know.
I don't even know how the ad ended up there
because there was like so many traits that happened that
they when I went down, and now we finally get
to see Mac Jones on the forty nine ers.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
So that's uh, that's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
And he did not play bad.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
So he did not He played good.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
He played really good.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Usually after the Niners pay somebody he's done and the
new guy comes in. How would be you know, Kaepernick
Garoppolo party.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Or you draft the guy that's played like four snaps
and then it goes terribly bad like immediately and.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
You send them on, but you also drafted guy last Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Literally, let's get into some debate questions here, because now
we're you know, two weeks into the season. It's the
fun time. It's you know, hypotheticals all over the place. Uh.
I want to ask you guys, which two and oh
teams you have the most faith in? There's ten of
them this year, So yeah, which ones you have the
most faith in?

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Two and O two.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
And we'll get we'll get to the defeated teams in
a second here.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Well, I think my answer is a little obvious. You know,
go birds, do you have.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
The most faith in them?

Speaker 4 (17:06):
I mean, they're the back, they just won Super Bowl
and they started bad last season. I kind of have
faith they'll figure it out. It's fair, doesn't look great,
but I have faith will figure it out.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
At this point in last season, there was like the.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Oh, I was ready to kick see your eye out
the door. That second game looked awful.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Of course he brings his kids to the press conference
because he doesn't want to.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
It was week five. Yeah, yeah, after he's yelling at fans,
he brings his kids to the press conference.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
We have some comments in here. None was one, And
then another person said the Bills as an impressive.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Uh say, like not the Bills or Chargers, Like you
don't have fath in either of those.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Yeah, I mean, I gotta be tell you what about
the Chargers, man, I don't know whose luck. It's just
Chargers luck. I don't know Herbert luck. That they just
have to run their entire division to start the season.
Raiders Broncos this week. No other team had to just
start their season with their whole division.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
We don't even play the Commanders until the last three
weeks this season.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Yeah, I don't who came up with that for the Chargers. All,
they've now played their division all the way through once,
like before they even played anyone else. That's kind of crazy.
But nonetheless, two division wins already for the Chargers. That's
pretty substantial. Same with green Bay. Actually, technically I do
not have that faith in Green Bay. If I were

(18:34):
to pick one, genuinely, I mean, I'd say the most
faith I'd have out of all the two and teams
right now is the Bills. I'm saying that more from
a division standpoint. I kind of say Chargers, but their
divisions a lot harder than the Bills division is. So

(18:56):
I think the Bills are the Bills. The NF or
the AFC is theirs. But uh, I yeah, I mean,
I'm just gonna go with the Bills on this one.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
I'm gonna pick the Packers in this one. I really think,
you know, two really good wins. I mean, hey, they
limited that Lions offense, and then the Lions go out
and drop fifty two just because you know they can,
because they're you know, pissed off. And then they really
slowed down a Commander's team that didn't really look you
know slowabule against the Giants. But the Giants are still
trying to figure everything out there.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
But the Giants just let the Cowboys drop like fifty
points on them.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, I don't know, the Cowboys or the Washington defense
seems kind of easy.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
It has been.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
And for Jordan Love to not throw to like a
single receiver that game, I was I was throwing some
red flags and that was.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
More of a sign about Washington than it was. Screen
Bay me.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
It well, it also very was because they schemed, they
saw how Washington played. The Giants schemed it up and
Craft thrived and they did what they needed do. They
did the right things. And I saw this exact dy
like copy and pasted this play from the Giants, like
the only successful Giants play that week one, and they

(20:10):
just like copy and pasted it and it worked the
exact same way against the Commanders again and they thrive.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
So also like in the regular season, the only playoff
team they have beaten was the Kenny Pickett Eagles game.
That's it, I tell you what it is.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Actually there's a little off topic, but it is kind
of funny because I've seen some tail of the tape stuff,
basically like people breaking down tape and being like week one,
this is what this team did against this defense, and
week two, this team came out and did the exact
same formation, exact same play and it worked again. And
I'm like, to me, it's just like, yeah, that's what
week two is because you have tape on only one game,

(20:51):
so yeah, like it's just yeah, that's bound to happen.
That's how that works. But it is so funny that
people break it down and they're like, wow, this person's
a gene. Matt Lafleur is a genius because he took
that one play that worked and did it and it
worked again.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
Like they're, yeah, genius, that's just called watching film.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Yeah, and you only have one game to watch right now,
so like, yeah, that's that's kind of how week two works, bro.
But uh yeah, it's kind of funny that way.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Let's flip this question the other way here, Okay, which
oh and two? Team are you sounding the alarm for?
As we're getting through the first two weeks?

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Here are there ten?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Let's see one, two, three, four? There's ten?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Damn the hell is this? Lead? Ten? Then ten?

Speaker 1 (21:41):
And then this is unwatchable? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
I mean I kind of it was part of my
hold last week. The Texans, Oh they are they have
not looked good in a while.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah. I would have been a great win against Tampa
Bay too. That would have been a great win for them.
But you so what happened sounding the alarm?

Speaker 1 (22:07):
You say, yeah, there's a some you gotta pull the
fire alarm like something's going down.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Okay, I'm just not not.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Like the smoke detective, like you're not trying to burn
something like you gotta like, okay, like we can need
like people over here. We gotta like start fixing something here.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
Panic button, panic button.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
I'm like.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Mine is a smoke alarm because it's completely on fire.
And I'm just gonna drive this narrative as much as
I absolutely can, because I hate because I'm here for it,
and I'm just absolutely the Dolphins for me, I think
the worst team in the league. It's just hands down
here we.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Are blow it that f uh giant.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Everyone goes not dude. Russell Wilson at least performed. I
didn't accomplish it, but performed. We still have yet to
see the Dolphins performed. I think, just blow it up. Bro.
I'm done. I'm done with it. We're done, sold you off,
canceled you. That's it. There's other teams here that I
have some hope in, and one of them being like

(23:05):
the Panthers, and that's saying something.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
So my pick for this is gonna be the Chicago Bears.
Do you draft a tight end really high two receptions? Okay,
you go out and you get a defensive tackle, hasn't
played a left tackle in the second round two just inactive,
just you know, free roaming around the sidelines, like I'm
not too sure of what you're doing. And if you
look at Ben Johnson for the time he had that

(23:29):
opening press conference introducing himself as the Bears head coach
to on Sunday talking to reporters, that man's aged like
fifteen years. Just find the photo. He looks horrible. Now
the Bears have aged him so much in just what
eight months? What the last like two months?

Speaker 3 (23:47):
He's aged that much.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
I don't know. You gotta start sending the alarm there,
because especially with Caleb Williams under center, and just like
there's a lot of money in this team, well not
really a lot of money. There's a lot of high
draft capital in this team. It's just like the same result.
For some reason, I get a lot of this NFC
North Twitter pages and it's like, oh, hey, offseason champions,

(24:10):
how's it going for you? They're just going after the
Bears left and right, just.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Like because like you have like, why was their hype ever?
This is what I've been saying. Why why was their
hype ever? A quarterback is not it?

Speaker 2 (24:27):
This team was supposed to be a team too, where
the defense was supposed to support the struggling offense.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
And why was I supposed to be a struggling offense.
You got Adam, you got Ben Johnson, you got all
these weapons you got can't miss quarterback? Why is the
offense have to struggle?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Well, it ain't doing it either. The defense shots how
I ain't doing anything as well. So this is both
sides of the ball.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Can't miss quarterback? Best one ever.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Last year, I ask this question about any player in
the league you wish you can like watch play for
your team across all NFL history.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Now I want to ask this question.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
But we're gonna restrain it into just your team, your
team's history. Okay, for a player who's worn your jersey's
warn your colors that you want to see play again.
They could be in their prime, they could be whatever.
They don't have to be like current age or you know, deceased,
like whoever it is they want to see play again.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Play again in general, or play again right now.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
But yeah, if they can fill in for your team
right now, it doesn't matter who you have at whatever position,
just you know, fill in and just go right at it.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Mm hmm. Hmm right, there's a lot of options I
can go there.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Yeah, and I don't know if I want to go offensive.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
I got I could go with two. You want me
to go with two here for you? Yeah, I could
go with two for me?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
All right? With one, well, I'm gonna I'm gonna pick too.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
I like, I like. I like breaking the segment here.
I like breaking the segment what I do?

Speaker 3 (26:00):
All right?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Here?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
I could pick the low hanging fruit.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Okay, I could say Darrel Raves because you guys know
it's my favorite Jets player. But I want to go
with two people that were at the end of their
careers when they joined the Jets, Ed Reid and Ronnie Lott.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
That would be the all time safety tandem for the
New York Jets.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yeah, all right, are you saying when they went to
the when they.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Were on It could be at whatever point if they
were not in their prime when they're on their team.
You could just go through it, Jake. You can also
pick Frank Core if you want, because I know that's definitely.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
On your Keiko Alonzo h m hm, geez, I have
to go someone in the secondary. It's a low hanging fruit.
Just go like Reggie White and be basic.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Effective him with Jalen Carter and company.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
I think that would be pretty sick.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
I'll be awesome. I just think if you put like
like Troy Vincent or something like that, or Sante Samuel,
one of those guys like next to Quinnyon, it's over.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Even Brian Dawkins back there too.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Yeah, I know I was thinking beat off, but I
wanted to be I didn't want to be like, oh
Reggie what Brian Dawkins two franchise legends?

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I think.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
I think Brian Dawkins with Dick Fangio's style would be
a problem. I'd be like the rewrite the penalty books
and suspensions?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
What are we looking at for you? Dom?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I mean, like the like most just obvious if you
say this question to me, no matter what, when, where,
how is always going to be Randy Moss for me,
just because Randy is Randy dude, like just the most
irreplaceable human and player ever. But like at this very second,

(28:01):
on this very team of the Patriots, I would have
to go defensive, and I honestly don't know where to
go defensively. I think I got I mean, I'd love
a Bruski I'd love a Teddy Bruski action where you.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Guess should go a good like Mike Frable.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Yeah, there you go, just suit him up there. Technically, yeah,
I mean he can still ball, come on. I mean, honestly,
a good evinced Wolfork is just there was almost nothing
like it. Sometimes, not that it was the most effective
thing in the world, but when it was effective, it
was fucking sick. I don't know if I want to

(28:45):
go d back. I mean, there's not like a straight
up corner I would choose. I mean, Tylaw was epic,
but like, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
I thought instantly with Richard Seymour.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
You know, Richard Seymour did cross my mind. He did.
But even then, I still kind of would rather a
Teddy bruce Ki, just an all around guy like that
team captain, that mentality that early two thousands into like
the you know, the Giants.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
The microphone feeding on the plays of the offense.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
But yeah, I just I he was definitely a dude.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Shall we answer fantasy questions?

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
We got we got two. So we have a Dolphins
fan in here, so that says Dan Marino should come back.
I mean I think Dan Marino in this style of
game would be pretty epic. He can't move really well,
but in this style with his arm would be elite.
We also have a Seahawks fan in here saying Cam
Chancellor his career was cut so short. I'm so disappointed,
Like I wish he could still be playing.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
That's my stop player, you know, Brian Dawkins, Cam Chancellor.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
I mean he killed Vernon Davis, who was probably like
one of my favorite Titans to watch. So yeah, well
who is.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
The guy that Patrick willis absolutely crumbled?

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Brad Smith. I remember watching it on YouTube and then
they cut to, uh, I don't know what was that?

Speaker 3 (30:16):
How did you get fired on your day off? What
movie is that?

Speaker 1 (30:22):
I don't know, but like it just like it's like
Bradsmith's crumbles and he just goes like, you gotta knocked
the fuck out man, Friday. I think it's Friday.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
I think that I think the knocked out quote is
from Friday.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
That's definitely from where it is. All right, So we
do have some questions in here. I'm gonna start out
with Lewis, who says, trade Et and Ridley for Rice
Dobbins and Jalen Warren. I feel like ETS value is
exponentially growing as we go through here, then Ridley and

(30:59):
the Dobbins, I feel like my lose.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
The starting spot to r J.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Harvey. But then you know Rice is gonna be good
for when you know he fills back in.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
To the Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
So yeah, once once Rice gets back in there, you
know he's gonna get so much action because that team
can't throw the ball without him.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Uh, I might, I might, I might say I don't
really want to go with him.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
I'm gonna say that.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
As we have Liam here, it says someone offered me
Brian Thomas Junior for Zay Flowers. Should I do it,
I'd be getting Brian Thomas Junior. He's not been good
in fantasy.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
I wouldn't be getting rid of Day right now.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
He's not been good in real life, bro, straight up
fantasy or real life. I'm talking about BTJ. Too many
drops and it's not even Trevor Lawrence's fault, Like that
was an issue. On Sunday, they got.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Like the backups, they're getting like a lot of stuff.
But someone found out who the passing game coordinator is
and it was the Bears offensive coordinator from last year
that got five like after like ten like eight games.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
That'll do it.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
So no wonder why, like all like the depth guys
are getting targets and the receivers, the actual starters are not.
I see Tensis Deebo or Mike Evans to start, I
would say, I don't know, I feel like Debo might
be a better play against the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Who's Tampa Bay?

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Tampa Bay is against the Jets.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Yeah, mister hold is not stopping Mike Evans.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Well, I don't even know who you put a top
guy on right now for the Tampa Bay.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Well, I mean, Sauce can't cover can't cover Evans, He's
too small.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
But I'm saying like a Buka has kind of been
the guy.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
I mean, Abuka would have had such a great grab
if you know, the ball wasn't like barely off like
very late in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
They were trying to give the you know what, Mike,
I really tried.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
To give a Buka the ball, but like Mike Evans
was getting a lot of like great you know, like
coverages and all that stuff, but he was still able
to find the football.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, and they were they were trying to get Mike
Evans the ball a lot too. He was being covered
pretty well because that was that was Stingley, and Stingley
was doing a good job. But they were trying to
get Mike Evans ball a lot, so I think they
continue to do so. I mean he's still playing good.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
I'm gonna fly through these ones. Henry says, start Sutton
or Tyreek. I would say start Sutton this week. Grant
says Wentz or Tua this week.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
I would say I would say Wentz.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
I mean him and just I don't know really what
to expect there.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Bengals defense too, oh yeah, and then says et and
N Penix for Herbert and Hampton, I lost Burrow.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I say Penix might be a really good play. I
mean he's playing the Panthers. I think you could be
in store for something pretty this week. So I would
not I wouldn't, you know, like trade away ETN and
they get like Hampton. I felt for that and it
just wasn't that good.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Fabian says Josh Jacobs and Abuca for Neighbors. I'm gonna
have to say hard no on that. Dude. A Buka
could match Neighbors production like every week. And Josh Jacobs
is genuinely a good running back. Someone says, drop dj
More for Godwin. No, not yet.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Well, I mean you.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Gotta start picking up god when at something.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Yeah, I mean that is true. If you could store
him on an IR, that's definitely worth it. Then even
you could pick up Djer Morgan or another receiver if
you wanted to.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
John says, is Jamar Chase for a Chan and Brian
Thomas Junior good trade? It's good in the value of HM.
But Brian Thomas I'm still kind of hesitant of. He
had a lot of great production last year. And you know,
with Shane Waldron, that's who, that's who the passing game
coordinator is.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Until he's off of Tampa Bay.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
I don't know. I can't really see Hunter or Brian
Thomas starting spots. I found your burner. Jake bird Gang
forty two hundred says, oh, no, you already got that.
Never mind, Dom I the ever read it.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
I saw the name.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
First, you got it first. It's okay, it's a drop
dj More for Godwin.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
Oh that was that one.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Yeah? Uh, Carlos says Bree and Nico for Bijeon and McLaurin.
I would say yeah for Bijeon. I think McLaurin mclaurin's
gonna eventually figure it out. I would say yeah. For
that fair blue Acchoir probably the best running back in fantasy.

(35:37):
I would say yeah. Uh, Nick says, start to Sutton,
Abukah and Juwan Jennings.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
I would say Abuka and Juwan.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
ETM for mcconki or Jet and Judkins. Oh no, man
Etn is gonna get the ball like all year now.
I mean he's kind of have a guarantee.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Duncan's gonna get suspended too, So it's like you don't
really know he played.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
He played on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
I think you had like suspended.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
No, yeah, he did play. He played.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
I think he got like fifty yards rushing on like Carris.
He's fresh.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Uh M says who should I start DK or Marvin
Harrison Junior. I would say DK, So I can't really
figure out Marvin Harrison Junior. Jannon doesn't think he needs
to get the ball to him, so it's okay. Michael says,
gibs Worthy impollered for aj Justin Jefferson in Montgomery, Michael,

(36:41):
which side of the trader you want for this?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
Should I drop Laporta for Craft? I?

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Look, you think that might be a move.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
I mean, the thing is, I think you should drop the.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Detroit spreads the ball a lot, like a lot, and
Craft Craft gets I mean straight up and down no
matter what. So that's but.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Eventually Craft's gonna like wear out. Like last year, he
was really good to begin the season and he just
like faded away. He wasn't like he was like a
top five guy, and then he like faded away last
year like he was really good against like the Rams,
the Jaguars, like he was really good against those teams,
and then he could just like it really wasn't the
same like mid season going forward.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
It's definitely tough. That's a tough one.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Uh, let's see, let's go down here.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Aiden Eving side of J. Jettison, aj.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Aiden, I'm kind of confusing your question JA Corey R.
Sutton or Sutton I would say, or I would play
our SoundBite, but I don't want to get copyrighted for
where we post this stuff later on oh Fair. Yeah, yeah,
so I would say you start billing this one. I
love this name. Kleta says, should I accept this trade
to give up Brian Robinson get Quentin Johnston. I feel

(37:57):
like we might be sending the alarms too early on
that one. I wouldn't give up on Brian Thomas just yet.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
But you know we won't get copyrighted for that because
it's an edit, just saying.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
Oh well, we get copyrighted for our intro anyway. For
whatever reason, Jake says London Ridley for Lamar and Cup.
I take the number one quarterback in Fantasy any day
of the week.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Is Quentin Johnson an every week start? Genuinely yes, like
for sure.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Coming from Dom who picked him up.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
I have him in every league I have, No, he
really is though. I mean he's getting the ball sometimes
more than Maconkey. And then you have that like Jamison
William's gigantic playability with him. That's sixty yard touchdown that
you got. So yeah, I think he is. I think
he's a move until he's not.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Sam Miller says Collins and Gent for Gibbs and Wilson.
Nico Collins Gent for Jamiir Gibbs and Wilson. Are you
getting Gibbs and Wilson?

Speaker 2 (39:11):
What do I do if I'm two and zero and
I have a ninety four per chance at playoffs? Thinking
of trading some guys away? No, oh.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
You fell for it. You fell for it.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
I hate you, Josh God dude. Actually, my advice would
be to trade them all away.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
Actually, diacted at.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
Your team, like, what's the point anymore.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
You definitely have an issue going on because it's not
a one chance, So probably drop some dudes.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
Pick up like you know, suspend some people who knows
the pickup for like a joke, Tommy Tommy DeVito.

Speaker 4 (39:52):
Yeah, perfect keeps posting.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Uh Sam, Uh so Sam says they are getting uh
Gibbs and Wilson in that trade. I'd say do it,
trading away Nico Collins and Ashton Genty.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Trade Kiren for Alvin. Yeah, dude, Alvin Kamara is a top,
top tier running back. You always need that.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
He's always gonna get targets.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
He's always going to Jordan Mason or Cutland Courtland Sutton
in the flex.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
I'm starting Mason in the flex over Sutton this week.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Sotton's a tough start.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
He had what he had one grab.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Troy Franklin took everything in that offense last week.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
It's tough. That's a tough look. Uh hold trade, I'd
hold him he could still. I mean, Jake Browning is
not incompetent golfer. Daniel Jones.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Lines are playing the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
The Ravens are really tough against the NFC opponents. I'm
not too sure the last time in NFC team beat
the Ravens. All right, I don't know the last time
before that.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
The Ravens and Indianapolis is playing Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Oh dude, yeah, dude, gotta start Indiana Jones.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
He's kind of a move.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
I know, we got we gotta add the we gotta
we gotta add that theme as a button two. I'm
gonna have a lot of Daniel Jones asking questions.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Three more, We'll do three more and then we'll continue.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
We'll continue our stuff, our spiel.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
Uh, let's see.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Kean Higgins or Evans in flex. I actually saw this before.
I kind of think Evans, I do. I kind of
think Mike Evans is your move?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Uh, not a fantasy question, but it's setting on his
way out. Is Franklin's bow number one. I think it's
just a weird week because the Colts were without their
top two corners the last week, so it's like it
was really weird that he was not getting targets.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
So obviously, you know, spreading out receivers.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
And all that stuff. I think the week before too,
in week one, like nine different guys well, like.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Sutton had like seven targets week one, so like he's
getting he's.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Going to get stuff. Like it's I think we got
to pump the brakes on that.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Oh, Colby saysquon for Ladd and charbon A, I will
still say no, I think is still a lock. He's
going to get the ball. I mean, like it's as
long as he's there, dude, he's the top running back
in this league, hands down. I want to use someone.
You're just like, oh, we watched what he did last year,

(42:46):
we can stop him this year. I mean it's not
look at Derek Henry every year production same thing.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
I want to use this for our questions here, but
someone said, where was it? It just went away? Uh
uh fuck whords? Okay, Maddix said, the trade of Mark
Andrews and Dylan Sampson for Kyle Pitts good move, excellent move.
Get Mark Andrews off your team. He has two points
this year.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Don't draft the guy.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
He's sor two points. He has like fourteen yards receiving.
I would never draft him another day in my life,
Mattcaffer debo, okay, debo, Yeah, Indiana Jones, Danny Dimes.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
Hence, well, I mean no one can just call him
his real name. Let's be honest.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Should I drop Hockinson?

Speaker 1 (43:38):
For it's not I wouldn't drop pockets and for there
has to be another person could end up dropping?

Speaker 2 (43:46):
All right? Well more, Uh, what have we got? Let's
get a good one. Let's get a good one. What
could you get for kittle? Nothing? Dude, he's hurt. I
don't know so much. That's that's not a good one.
He's hurt, like I don't I don't know Mac Jones

(44:06):
or Jake Browning. That's a good one, Mac Jones.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Oh, I'm starting Jake Browning.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Last time, Jake Browning played the Viking seat through three
twenty four and two touchdowns like come on, and.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Then he got real piss spiked his helmet on the sideline,
was like, that's why you don't cut me?

Speaker 1 (44:19):
So yeah, oh yeah, there's there's definitely something in that.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
So I'm starting Jake Browning this week.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
You got to ride the energy train and get him.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
We do go live Thursdays at six pm Eastern ahead
of Thursday Night football answering all sorts of fantasy questions.
Right now, we're in the middle of our regular football show,
and we really appreciate everyone coming in here, tapping the screen,
watching and all that stuff. But here we do. We
do all this stuff Thursday night, six pm Domini. We
answer all this stuff. We make it a very fun,
enjoyable viewing experience for everyone there. So listen if you

(44:52):
want to follow us and watch back tomorrow night. We
answer everyone's questions. No questions go unasked, unasked, unanswered, unanswered.
That's the question here. Well, let's shift back here. We have.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
Game of the week. What was your game of the
week last week?

Speaker 2 (45:11):
Oh boy, yeah boy, right, I gotta go with Tampa Bay.
I gotta go with the Tampa Bay Monday night game.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
This is their fifth straight season starting two to Oh
just put that in their perspective.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Uh yeah, no, that was just a that was a
classic game. And then you were so psyched because it
wasn't even like the regular Monday night game where like
it tapers off because you're like, well, I want to
go to bed. No, this was like there's even more
football on after this. And then so you're like you guys.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
My team was losing, so I turned it off. I
just said, I'm going to bed. I'm not gonna get
disappointed and wait being up to like what in the
morning watching it.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
You got this great game, great comeback Ice in his veins, Baker,
I mean like that. That was a great freaking game, dude.
So that's my that's my game of the week.

Speaker 4 (46:00):
Dallas and New York Giants the last minute like touchdown
and then come right back down for a sixty yarder.
It seems to like the Giants always get sixty yards
kicked on them.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
I think out of the sixty sixty yard field goals
scored within the final five seconds of like regulation, the
Giants have three of them against them since like twenty seventeen.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
That's kind of nuts.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
Like I think there's six six and twenty seventeen and
the Giants have three of them. Graham, Gonna, Aubrey, and
there was another I'm drawing a blank.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
Who the other guy? Yeah, Jake Elliott, Jake Ollo. Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
In Philly. Nonetheless, uh, I'm gonna go with the Broncos
and the Colts because that was just a stupidly like
weird game and also the Colts just don't punt the football.
I mean, NFL Film Films posted their punter Sanchez of
his season highlights so far. It's just him holding for
field goals the entire time, which is hysteric, calling him

(47:00):
walking up and down the sideline just you know, they
get sure he's prepared.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
So yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with that, Johnathan.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
The Colts looked really good two hundred plus yards rushing
on a Broncos team which didn't really look rushable on
and they really tore the house down on that.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
I tell you what, none of us are gonna take it.
But the Carolina game is probably a game.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
I mean they scored like two garbage time touchdowns Hunter
Renfro He's back, He's back, weren't they No, it was
like there was like twenty two to like seven going
into the fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Oh, I mean then they did enough to get it
within a score much. No, I didn't you know what
you know what really ruined me? I thought it said overtime,
That's what ruined me. I was like, Oh, that can
win in overtime.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
I'm really trying to pink the low hanging fruit to
like lower than what it should be.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Whatever I'm gonna start.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
I didn't ask for attitude, geez, I did not request that.
All Right, we're going to everyone's favorite segment in the
entire world here, all right, buy, sell, and hold. Okay,
this is our baby, this is I don't know, this
is everything for us. Okay, what are we buying into
follow entering week number three? I would say following week two,

(48:23):
but it's entering week number three.

Speaker 4 (48:26):
Well, Lamar's MVP chances, it's got more touchdowns than anybody
in the NFL right now.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
It's pretty legit too.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
I don't want to spoil it, but I did write
him down as well for a BUYE this week.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Wow, double buying Lamar? Good for you guys.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
Didn't buy Lamar and double telling Lamar.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
So that's a that's an interesting Well, No, I.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Don't have that thing to say, dude. No, I'm actually
buying into the Daniel Jones experience. I am buying in
it because again, like you just said, well, the Broncos
were not supposed to be an easy team to be.
I mean, their defense is supposed to be good and whatnot.
And for the second week in a row, the Colts

(49:14):
have looked kind of dominant, and Daniel Jones is having
the time of his life. So you know what, I'm
buying into the Daniel Jones experience. As long as Daniel
Jones is leading the Colts, I think they, I genuinely
think they put up a solid shot to win the division,
especially with the Texans division wide open. Bro I mean,

(49:37):
here we go, and let's.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
Go to Cells. What do we want to sell off on?

Speaker 3 (49:45):
Can I go first?

Speaker 1 (49:45):
I want to go first, go for it, all right,
I fucking fell for it. Of course I'm selling on
amar In Hampton. I'm over the experience here.

Speaker 3 (49:54):
Okay, You're gonna have to buy them at.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
Some point this season because I'm sure he'll be really good.

Speaker 1 (50:00):
But just I'll buy them back. Okay, Listen, that's what
Wall Street does, Okay. You always sell well and you
buy a high. That's the whole point of you know,
inexperienced day traders like myself. Okay, but I know I
know this, Okay, I have more than enough experience with this, tom.

Speaker 3 (50:13):
Okay, I got this.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
Okay, But yes, I'm gonna selling to Murray Hnton. You
guys thought it was the Jets, Okay. I don't even
need to mention selling the Jets because they've been sold
off on too many times.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
For a second, that you're gonna sell the Jets.

Speaker 2 (50:25):
Yeah, no, I really did not think this was the
time yet to sell the Jets. Not after last week.

Speaker 4 (50:30):
It's usually rout week two though.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah, well that week one has like a nice four
week hangover period for Jets fans.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
So they're already over it. They're so over it already.
Twitter is just going berserk over that.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
They know the game?

Speaker 4 (50:45):
What is what is yours mine?

Speaker 2 (50:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (50:49):
It's the Kansas City Chiefs. Oh goody ding dong. The
beast is dead. They're just a mortal team now that
it's the kind of team where the Chiefs black magic
takes over and they win. You got the deep touchdown
and it wasn't enough. They're just I think they're just
a normal team.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Now.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
The Chiefs did post that the they limited the Eagles
to their lowest offensive totals since Week six of twenty
twenty one. They got there, they got moral victories. Cool, yeah, cool,
apparently they got moral victories, won the game.

Speaker 4 (51:23):
Shut your ass up.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
Yeah whatever, just like just like Chris Hilles, you only
got one hundred yards passing Okay, we won the game.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
And he did, in fact have one hundred and one yard.

Speaker 1 (51:35):
One hundred and one yards passing.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Okay, yeah, double loss the Ls. The amount of the
amount of Chiefs crying has been kind of hilarious. It's
like they only wanted they wanted March because the tush
push shut up chapter.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
Uh what is what is your cell? Dom?

Speaker 2 (51:54):
I am going to sell the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
It's been one week.

Speaker 2 (51:59):
I'm over it. Listen. I went fifteen and one last week,
and it's only because I thought, first second, I was like,
you know what, maybe I'll change because all of you
guys are taking Pittsburgh and like Aaron Rodgers had like
four touchdowns week one, like oh my god, dude, maybe
and their defense should be good. So like, you know what,

(52:22):
and it ruined my perfect week and I hate them.
And out of any team for me to have picked,
that was not going to be the one I should
have suaded my decisions. I'm pissed. I'm an extra pissed.
I'm just selling them off because you know what, what
was last week?

Speaker 4 (52:38):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (52:39):
If you were a real team like you were week
one against not a good team anyway, you should have
won last week, or you should have put up a
better performance, but nope. So I'm not even I'm biting
my lip now, so I don't do it. I don't
bite on it another time. That's it solid.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
And holds. Where are we want to hold on to?
And during the third week of this twenty twenty five season, I'm.

Speaker 4 (53:11):
Holding on to Drake May. I think there's always been flashes,
and I think I held them at like week six
last year and never did anything with them after that.
But like this is the first time where it was
like a complete game, not just little flashes. We had
a completely good game, good numbers, got a nice win
where and then you know, not a big no big negatives.

(53:33):
So I think this is like the Drake May coming
out party was last week.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
I am going to hold on to the Houston Texans
because I think they I mean, like I liked what
happened on Monday night. They didn't win and and that's
kind of nuts, and that's severely why I'm holding on
to them. But like, I don't think they're a panic
button zero and two team right now. I'd like to

(54:01):
see them get it together. This is me also holding
some hope onto them too, but I'd like to. I mean,
Demika Ryan showed promise, like there's no reason they should
have lost that game, but they ended up losing to
Baker come back story because I don't know, it's just

(54:22):
what happened. But so I'm holding on to them in
hopes that maybe I'll buy them.

Speaker 3 (54:30):
I have two holds this week.

Speaker 1 (54:33):
One is the Indianapolis Colts. I want to see, Okay,
we saw the Saints last year. Okay, I think we
were probably jumping the gun at one point last year, Like, okay,
maybe this team is pretty ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
I don't want to fall for it.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
And Josh just donated a heart me his first ever
TikTok if came to us.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Wow, thank you.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
So I'm gonna hold.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
Off on the Indianapolis Colts. I want to see at
least a third week of you know, some pretty potential there.
And I want to hold off on Jordan Mason.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Let's see.

Speaker 1 (55:03):
He was really good with the Niners last year when
McCaffrey was out early in the season. Let's see what
he can do going forward. Oh my god, Josh just
sending five fingerhearts.

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Yeah, that's fun.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
Last week you would have made well do the whole thing.
It would have been fun.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
I don't know where that pop tar costume is.

Speaker 3 (55:24):
This is a very this is really bad.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
We ate it.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
I know, I move stuff out it. I don't even
know where it is.

Speaker 1 (55:32):
That's the one thing I can't find that I had
in here. We're gonna head into picks this week. Week
three picks, thirty two games down, a whole bunch more
to go. Let's set this up here, we set this up.
Let's get that down. We're gonna go over to here,
and here's what we're looking at here. For the first
two weeks, all right, we.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
All did over ten games.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
Really good for all of us, Really good, guys.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
I'm proud of us. For last week, okay, cold eleven.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Jake and I went twelve and four, and Dom went
fifteen and one. On his picks last week, Supposedly he
picked the Steelers, but I'm not buying it. Are you
buying it? Jake? I don't think I'm buying it.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
Steelers lost.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
He was claiming he really bought into the Seahawks, saying, oh, I.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
Wrote them in first, and then I did you guys
all wrote in Pittsburgh, and then I like sat here
and thought about it, and then I did the tinker
with her fantasy team Sunday morning thing, and then I
wasn't changed it.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
I wasn't going to pick Seattle simply because everyone else
aria at Pittsburgh, and I wasn't going to go out
on a limb for Sam Darnold.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Genuinely, if you go back to last week, I did
mention how I wanted to pick Seattle too, and I
can only blame myself. But this is where it goes
downhill for me. I always have a fluke week that's
really good, and then I never recover. So I'm hoping

(56:59):
to the lead for once.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
We're gonna go into Thursday night football here the Miami
Dolphins travel up to Buffalo to face the Bills, and
we're all taking the Bills. And I'm not really gonna
go anywhere further on this topic.

Speaker 4 (57:14):
Easy moving along.

Speaker 1 (57:15):
I this is another easy moving along in the Falcons
go on the road, they face Carolina, and Carolina's home opener,
we're all taking the Atlanta Falcons.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
I don't think it's the easiest game. I think this
is a trap game for the Falcons.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
So from Charlotte's International Airport to Cleveland's airport. We're gonna
bring that stick back up again. The Packers come into
town and face the Cleveland Browns and the dog Pound.
We are all taking the Green Bay Packers here. From
the south to the north. Back down to the south.
The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Houston Texans, and we're Jake

(57:57):
is lone wolfing here the Jacksonville Jaguar ours.

Speaker 4 (58:02):
I really like that defensive line. Just Brian Thomas needs
to catch the ball.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
This is what Jake was thinking when he picked.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
It, dude, ball, I'm gonna play it. I hate you.
I hate you so.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
Much, oh man. From back to the south.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
We go up north here the Bengals and the Vikings here.
This is the greatest quarterback matchup. W'ere ever gonna see
you this season? Jake Browning and Carson Wentz. Colon is
lone wolfing here the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 2 (58:38):
Damn, I don't even know why.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
I am prepared to get severely hurt by Carson Wentz
and Jefferson together.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Was this an emotional decision to not pick no?

Speaker 4 (58:48):
I you saw until you said Aaron Jones is not playing,
and then I'm like.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Okay, that's sure. So many tiktoks again tomorrow, I are
you might say another four times.

Speaker 1 (59:02):
Jason just sent there's a heart, me and a dolphin
here over on the TikTok side. He wants to be
part of our symphony. Speaking of symphonies here. At one point,
this was a really great rivalry. Uh yeah, Steelers Patriots.
Now it's Aaron Rodgers and Drake May. Can they hold
up to what we were used to? We'll figure that out.
Colton is lone wolfing. The future is now old man,

(59:25):
Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. We're all taking the
New England Patriots on this one. Besides Colin.

Speaker 3 (59:35):
From New England.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
We go down nine ninety five the Eagles, another playoff
rematch for them this past year. They're gonna be hosting
the Rams here at Lincoln Financial Field. We're all taking
the Eagles here on this one.

Speaker 4 (59:49):
Oh what the Rams fans aren't taking the Rams?

Speaker 2 (59:51):
Thought? Thought?

Speaker 4 (59:52):
I thought they should have won that game.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Guys, I'm not sold on the Rams right.

Speaker 3 (59:58):
I don't want to. I don't want this slander right now.

Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
I don't want the Sland slander.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Repeatedly, Oh my god, listen, the Rams gave the Eagles
the most run for their money in the playoffs last year,
every other team was just like.

Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
The we have a robot clone thing whatever their quarterback is,
and then their other quarterbacks are not like listen until
they get a real quarterback. I'm not sold on the Rams.

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Frauds. You're just absolute frauds.

Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Down more I ninety five. Okay, the Jets will go
to Tampa Bay, where the Buccaneers have their home opener,
wearing their cream school uniforms. Here, we're all taking Tampa Bay,
and I gotta say this is definitely a track game
at most for the Buccaneers.

Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
I'm nervous. I want to pick the Jets because.

Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Remember last year the Broncos they beat the Bucks after
the Bucks beat the Lions, after you know, Aiden Hutchinson's
five and a half sack performance. I don't know. I'm
a little nervous for this one.

Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
I mean, like, I don't I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
Indianapolis heads to Nashville, Tennessee to play the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
Here, we're all taking the Colts.

Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Here. From Nashville, we go, we go to our nation's capital,
where at one point was a really good Super Bowl.
The Raiders and the Redskins. But now it's not the Redskins.
It is the Washington Commanders. Colton is lone wolfing Geno
Smith and the Las Vegas Raiders. Here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
You know what happened here, Colton lone wolf Washington last
week because he was like, I still believe in the
Washington thing, blah blah blah, and they must have. Really,
he must be so snake bitten that he went with
the Raiders and I kind of don't play Rember think
or he just.

Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Thinks that Jade's not gonna play.

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Marcus Mario had a revenge game.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
That's the storyline.

Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
We got this, We got this.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
That kind of makes me want to pick the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
We head out West, where the Chargers complete their trifecta
AFC West opponents to open the season. The Denver Broncos
come down to play in Sofi Stadium.

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
We're all sweeping the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
Here, sir, yes, sir, they sweep the AFC West, hopefully.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
From the Pacific Southwest, we go to the Northwest. Here
at one point was a really great wildcard matchup the
Saints and the Seahawks. Here, we're all picking the Seattle Seahawks.
Here with this pick. Somehow, this game's at four o'clock game,
but the Cowboys and the Bearers duel at it at
Soldier Field. We're all taking the Dallas Cowboys. One team's

(01:02:38):
gonna have their first loss of the season. The Cardinals
and the forty nine Ers battle it out there at
Levi Stadium. Colon is lone wolfing the Cardinals while US
three are taking the San Francisco forty nine Ers. Whether
it's mccorkyl Jones or it's Rock Purdy, I hope it's mccorkyl.

Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
I've been pretty happy if it opens Michael mccorkyl.

Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
Yeah, did.

Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
And somehow this is a Sunday night football game. The
Giants have their home opener after the first two weeks
on the road. They play the Kansas City Chiefs, and
we are picking the Kansas City Chiefs. We head in
the Monday night football here. Well, this is actually a
good primetime matchup. The Lions and the Ravens are gonna
be dueling in Baltimore, and Don you're the lone wolf
of the Detroit Lions.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
I'm gonna use my Week one logic. Detroit seems to
win the night games under the lights Baltimore seems to
choke them, so I'm gonna continue it works for me
week one. I'm gonna continue that logic until it does not.
It seems to be the patterns and the trends never
favor Lamar. So the patterns and trends that he's kind

(01:03:48):
of created, but nonetheless.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
