for quarterbacks, okay, uh yeah. For a lot of people
in TikTok here talking fantasy right now. I don't know
who drafted Joe Burrow, but tow injury, he's gonna be
out at least three months. The Bengals are hopeful who'll

be back in December. They already put him on IR
along with him JJ McCarthy's knocked out a couple games
with the high ankle spring. He can't really travel with it,
and they got two trips going on with Dublin and
then they're gonna go to London for a game like
right after that. So very big, uh weirdness going on
around the league. Jaden Daniels apparently might try to practice Friday,

according to Dan Quinn.

So that's, uh, yeah, we got that.

But gentlemen, Joe Burrow another year, another pretty significant injury.
First it was the ACL's rookie year. Then he has
that exploding wrist injury on a Thursday night game to
Joe Mixon.

And now a toe.

Injury on a what looked like a routine sack.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's like, I looked it up because I'm like, how
does turf toe knock you out that long? So there's
grades to it, and so if you need surgery, means
you tore whatever the ligament is that is involved the turf.

Toe towards several of them, according to sources. So I
don't know what several means. I mean, I've broken my
toe before. That's not a fun injury. The big toe
is probably the worst toe next to the pinky toe.

Use the term turf toe in any other sport?

Is there hockey ice toe?

At those points in time, you like destroy and tear
apart your knee, ankle and everything else. So that's a
whole difference to.

I never really heard the term anywhere else other than football,
And turf toe's kind of like such a broad like
you were saying, there's like tears to it and whatnot.

Like brock Pardy has turf toe too, but apparently it's
more significant than what his shoulder injury is. But he's
apparently practicing about right now according to Kyle Shanahan, so
he's gonna be limited. So that's a step in the
right direction for him obviously. You know, as what Jake mentioned,
there's a bunch of different grades to it.

But are the Bengals done?

Two and oh the first two win oh starts? Since
god knows, when are are they finished?

I mean, what's what do you considering finished? Because like
if they have Joe Burrow, your hope is always super
Bowl because how good he is. So if that's the standard,
then yes, they're done.

Yeah, I don't know. You gotta you gotta hope he's
still in the spot, like still still in the h
and everything at least going into him being healthy so
that he can then pick them up and carry them
over into playoffs and then maybe who knows, maybe that's exciting.

Yeah, he would have to black ace it like be
in contention until the end of the season in December,
and then he comes back and plays the playoffs.

So you think, cause it's like twelve weeks they say,
if he gets surgery like today, it will be you know,
December seventeenth. If everything goes exactly how it's supposed to
go to according to plan, you would think, you know,
the Bengals would have to win at least seven or
eight games. With how the AFC is, there might be
a team that squeezes in at nine wins, but you
got to think like seven or eight wins just to

be safe with Burrow. But you know, maybe five or
six at a minimum, because what week fifteen sixteen is
going to be about, you know, December seventeenth ish, So
you have to put that into you know the thought
process behind that as well.

I think Browning can win your game games.

I think he's one of the better backups in the league,
Like he proved that the year that Joe Burrow's risk exploded,
like he was good.

They already have two wins under your belt, so like
you know, you're you're ahead of schedule, especially if you're
the Bengals, so you know, yeah, they can afford to
lose games when if they go five zero, Like if
they go five hundred from here out until Burrow comes

back there, I think would be in a position for
Burrow again, like I said, to pick them up and
carry them into playoffs. From there, then it's not the
easiest road in playoffs, but it just is what it is.
No playoffs is necessarily an easy road.

So they didn't have an easy road when they went

Yeah, So I if they again go five hundred, I
think they'll be okay, which I I think it's doable.
Like with Jake Browning, I think that's doable. The rest
of the team is still there, the weapons. If he
plays average as hell, I think they can be five hundred.

does exist in other sports, and it does, you know,
across you know, like soccer and basketball, football, and then
there's football, basketball, like all those other sports.

an ankle injury. He's I think he's been ruled out
this week already. So against the potential LSU remat like
LSU teammates thing with the Chase and Jeffer and that
would have been Burrow, but Burrow is now out for
at least three months.

Carson Wentz gets his first start since Week eighteen on
the Los Angeles Rams way back twenty twenty three, the

this week concussion. Tyrod Taylor starts his first game in

I think it was rapaport. He probably butchered that and
meant like four hundred or something, who knows, Yeah, and
then Jaded Daniels knee injury spring knee. He had the
MRI looks okay. I think they said he might try
to practice on Friday, but there's not a guarantee that

he will play. So obviously Marcus Mariota, the backup, would
be filling in for him, who he started last year
for against the Panthers, and he looked pretty good against them.

has a good rehab session for his knees spraying. He

but I have faith will figure it out.

have to run their entire division to start the season.
Raiders Broncos this week. No other team had to just
start their season with their whole division.

We don't even play the Commanders until the last three
weeks this season.

they've now played their division all the way through once,

pretty substantial. Same with green Bay. Actually, technically I do
not have that faith in Green Bay. If I were

to pick one, genuinely, I mean, I'd say the most
faith I'd have out of all the two and teams
right now is the Bills. I'm saying that more from
a division standpoint. I kind of say Chargers, but their
divisions a lot harder than the Bills division is. So

I think the Bills are the Bills. The NF or
the AFC is theirs. But uh, I yeah, I mean,
I'm just gonna go with the Bills on this one.

I'm gonna pick the Packers in this one. I really think,
you know, two really good wins. I mean, hey, they
limited that Lions offense, and then the Lions go out
and drop fifty two just because you know they can,
because they're you know, pissed off. And then they really
slowed down a Commander's team that didn't really look you
know slowabule against the Giants. But the Giants are still
trying to figure everything out there.

But the Giants just let the Cowboys drop like fifty
points on them.

Yeah, I don't know, the Cowboys or the Washington defense
seems kind of easy.

single receiver that game, I was I was throwing some

saw how Washington played. The Giants schemed it up and
Craft thrived and they did what they needed do. They

exact same way against the Commanders again and they thrive.

this is what this team did against this defense, and
week two, this team came out and did the exact
same formation, exact same play and it worked again. And
I'm like, to me, it's just like, yeah, that's what
week two is because you have tape on only one game,

people break it down and they're like, wow, this person's
