Johannes Emmerling is a German economist based in Italy and a senior scientist at the European Institute on Economics and the Environment and at the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change. His research focuses on climate change and energy economics, risk and uncertainty, welfare economics and development. Marc Watum is a development expert from South Africa with a management consulting and project finance background. He is the chairman of Vision 2030 Fund, an African social innovation fund for agriculture, food, and water startups. With them, we explore the cost of climate change and the possible solutions.
