What is the biggest barrier keeping you from financial success?
I will tell you the thing that's holding you back
is you. For most of us, why we aren't financially
successful is because we tell ourselves we can't do it.
We can't do it. We make excuses, Oh, I'm too busy.
I have a job, and I can't leave my job

because I depend on the paycheck. I have to feed
my family, or I have to take care of relatives parents.
I can't do this. I don't have the time. But honestly,
you can make the time. All of us can find
the time. There's always more hours in the day that
we are wasting. We are not using to actually further ourselves.

And you may say, well, I didn't go to Harvard,
I didn't go to Stamford. I don't have the education.
I can't do this. But in today's world, all the
knowledge you need is on the internet. So if your
goal is to increase your salary, how do you get there?
There are so many professions that you can do and
earn a much higher salary and have a much better

career that don't require advanced degrees. They don't require any degree.
For example, I had a programmer an engineer coding come
to me. He just graduated high school, he never went
to college. He turned out to be one of my
best engineers. Why because he taught himself to code. He
taught himself how to do it. Other professions, you can

become an accountant. You don't have to go to an
Ivy League school to learn accounting. You can learn it.
If you're a great accountant and you figure things out
and you work hard, you can earn a great living.
You could become a lawyer in California. You can become
a lawyer without ever going to law school. You just
have to pass the bar. There are so many professions

(01:45):
out there where you can educate yourself. And because of
the Internet, there are so many teachers. There are teachers
out there, really brilliant teachers who are teaching everything online.
And it's just up to you to take advantage of it.
So don't sit there making excuses, don't be your worst enemy,
don't put up barriers that don't exist. You can actually

go wherever you want to go. You just need to
have the right mindset, figure it out, set a goal,
and put aside the time to actually get there.
