(00:03):
Welcome to Soothing POD's meditation. Intoday's meditation, we will be turning inwards
to begin considering what life is allabout and what the heart longs for.
This session offers insights without answers, inspiring you to continue the journey of self
discovery. To begin this session, take a moment to find a comfortable seated

(00:29):
position. Stretch your crown towards thesky or the ceiling, letting your shoulders
drop and your heart space open upever so slightly. Your back should be
erect though comfortable. If you've notyet done so, I invite you to

(00:54):
close your eyes and take just afew moments to ground yourself into this present
moment. Notice what it is liketo be held by the earth, to

(01:15):
be embraced by the air, andto be supported by the breath. Notice
what your physical body feels like inthis present moment, and without judgment or

(01:38):
force, see if you might gentlysoften or relax any areas where you might
be holding tension. Your forehead mightrelax, your jaw might relax, your

(02:04):
hands might relax, and any otherparts of you might also surrender into softness.
Now come back to your breath, and as you breathe begin to envision

(02:29):
the breath running along the length ofyour spine. As you breathe in,
trace your medline from the base ofyour spine to the crown of your head,
and as you breathe out, followthe breath back down to your root.

(02:54):
As you breathe this way, imaginethe breath bringing nourishing energy to each
one of your cells, preparing youfor discoveries that rest ahead. Continue to

(03:24):
breathe this way for a short whileon your own, breathing from root to
crown as you inhale, and thenback down to your base as you exhale.
If the mind wanders at any point, simply note this mental movement before

(03:46):
gently and warmly returning your attention tothe breath. Let your breath soften,

(04:23):
now returning to its natural innate flow. Now, let's consider for a moment
what it means to live, tojourney through this thing called life. For
each one of us, what wedo with our lives will look different depending

(04:47):
on who we are and where wefind ourselves at any moment. Our choices
and actions will vary. However, what remains the same is that we are
all participate, aiding in an experience. While we are alive. We are
all learning to connect, to share, to give, and to receive.

(05:11):
Each one of us has gifts tocultivate and to offer, lessons to learn,
and experiences to move through. Thevery reality of experiencing is what is
true for all of us now.Experiencing life happens regardless of whether we are
mindful of our experience or not.And yet when we choose to turn inwards

(05:39):
to examine our goals, our dreams, our desires, and our heart longings,
we start to discover a richness tolife we might not have previously known.
This inward journey is a part ofour unfolding into deeper layers of happiness
and peace. It is a journeyand open to with curiosity, joy,

(06:01):
and gratitude. So what are youliving for? What piques the curiosity of
your mind? What awakes your heart? What values and virtues do you believe
in and wish to nourish in yourselfor in the world. If the answers

(06:39):
aren't so clear for you in thismoment, know that this is entirely okay.
As poet Rayner Maria Rilkei writes, don't search for the answers which could
not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live
them, and the point is tolive everything. So with that in mind,

(07:03):
take just a moment to root yourselfinto this present moment. Feel into
the earth beneath you. Open yourheart and chest to the life before you,
and allow your mind to sink intoyour heart. Establish yourself in the

(07:30):
heart space through a couple of lovingbreaths. Now in the silent space within

(07:51):
you, I invite you to repeat, I am open to the road of
self discovery. I find peace andpossibility within. I am interwoven into all

(08:15):
of life. I learn more andmore each day about what my heart longs
for. Now, take three fulldeep breaths on your own inhaling vital life

(08:46):
energy as you breathe in and softeningany fears of concerns as you breathe out.
Let each breath bring you back tothis present moment. After your third

(09:18):
deep breath, come back to thesteady ebb and flow of your natural breath's
rhythm. Feel into the earth beneathyou, now reconnecting with this tangible world.

(09:46):
Now, slowly bring a bit oflight movement into your body, perhaps
starting with your fingers and toes. When you are ready, slowly open your
eyes to the world around you.I hope you enjoyed today's meditation. See

(10:13):
you again.
