(00:00):
All my habits. They're coming forme, heavy fire, the gunning for
me. I'm taking hits in thechests with no vest arm. I could
have swore. I prayed about it, baptized today was signing. I guess
it's all in my nature. ButI don't want to be driven by what

(00:29):
I feel up in the darkest placesof me. I don't want to be
driven by what I feel up inthe darkest places on me. I don't
want to be driven by what Ifell up in the darkest places on me.
I don't want to be my pastlives cycled through a heavy mind that

(00:56):
might pull you under the water. If you can't try, I would drown
the false truth about myself. Thereis no proof that I can't kick it.
I can't get it out on mysister. Driven by what I feel

(01:19):
up in the darkest places on me. I don't want to be driven by
what I feel up in the darkestplaces on me. I don't want to
be driven by what I feel upin the darkest places on me. I
don't want to be from the ballthe ball? What do you do when

(02:10):
you lose motivation to keep doing something? So? What do I do?
What? Get you inspired again afteryou lose motivation. Keeping your goals in
front of you, I think,so you keep going until you hit those
goals um or like in a perfectworld yeah, um, currently, No,

(02:35):
there are times when I'll just behonest. Now there are times where
I'm like, man, im,that's when the time I don't get it
done, keep going stop. Um. There are times when I fall back
for a couple couple days or afew days if need be. But what
I mean by like keeping your goalsin front of you, it's like reviewing
them if you can every day,or have them posted somewhere where you can

(03:00):
see them, because it's incredibly important. There's so much distraction, especially nowadays
with technology, especially like with withwork and just you know, family stuff
going on. You know, justall enough hours of the day, the
business can get to people and you'lllook up and yours will love flown by

(03:22):
man. And so it's important toreally one understand how you want to live.
Figure that out first and foremost, like, like, how do I
want to live? What are thosethings that I want to be a part
of my life that I feel atthis moment in time, knowing that they
can change. But those things Ifeel will be fulfilling and will make me

(03:44):
happy. Like, so, doyou think, since you do have the
goal of doing a hundred songs bythe end of the year, do you
think you will get burnt out? That's a big possibility. I don't know,
man, I mean that it's it'stotally a It's a huge possibility.
You know, there are a lotof people who would probably say, you're

(04:06):
not gonna gonna do that, youknow what I'm saying. Yeah, they
say you can say about five songs, absolutely, But I think the other
key to that is understanding why youdo it. Is like, it's not
just setting a goal like that onehundred songs a year, or or setting
a goal of doing something else superrandom just for the sake of setting it.
It feeds into the process and thetimeline for other things to happen.

(04:30):
In order for me to get toa point where I have, you know,
my website up, I have tohave content right. If I want
people to find my content right, just tell people to blow up the market
exactly. If I want to actuallybe serious about eventually and my mid term
goals to to actually start producing uhwith people or four people helping them on
projects. I've really got to havemy stuff together, Like I have to

(04:55):
understand like how to mix you know, vocals, how to record all that
stuff. I'm gonna figure all thatout in the process of of of making
you know this this content. Youknow what I'm saying. It's not all
going to happen at the end ofthis one period, but it's it's Yeah,
it's a process. I feel Philadelphiaseventy six ers, um, but

(05:16):
it is. It's a process. So it feeds into other long term or
longer term goals. Um. Sothat's why that's what keeps me motivated.
Like if I want to set mybusiness up, um, I can't do
it without content. Right. Soso you don't think that SoundCloud is powerful
enough where you wouldn't have to sellup your own website. I think SoundCloud

(05:40):
is incredibly powerful, um. Andit has its its use and its purpose
because I know there's a lot ofartists who lean like I think, Um,
yeah, Rust got big up postMalone, Uh he was SoundCloud Yeah,
a bunch of other folks I thinkhe was. I could be going
with someone else anyway. Um.But from from what I've been able to

(06:03):
take in terms of what I've beeneducating myself on of the TV film licensing
side of things. It's good foryou to have a separate website, um
more tailored to the industry. You'retrying to break out what we in the
process of doing or website. Absolutely, videos and podcasts and stuff. Absolutely,

(06:27):
y'all stay tuned something. It's verymuch so like, uh, you
know, a business, whether itbe a restaurant or whatever. I got
a bunch of buddies or trying toabout to open up restaurants like if right
now, Facebook works for them perfectly. Online you can interact with everybody exactly,
but other like when you are comparingyourself or when you're looking at other

(06:53):
successful enterprises, there are some commonthings that that you see are common threads
to put together. One of thoseis they have a separate website. You
know, so it's basically along thoselines. Okay, that makes a lot
of sense, right there, makesa lot of sense. Oh, I
don't know. I think would keepme motivated, is I guess? Starting?

(07:20):
Okay? Yeah, we always justwanted one listener, and now that
we got these listeners, now it'slike I feel like it's it's my duty,
you know, to keep having somethingfor them absolutely. Man. You
know when you get people say likethis inspirational motivational for them, you know,

(07:41):
there is a different feeling because Ididn't ever expect that starting, you
know, and then people like reachingout to you, you know, like
you somebody you know, you justyou just talk, you know, serving
the people. What if you don'tmind me asking a quick question, um,
just to follow up on that, like what would you say? Is

(08:01):
the most fulfilling part about what youdo yo with the podcast for you and
Jay dot do Jr dot H seeingpeople interacting with the episode what we're talking
about. You know, people likeresponding and like calling in and stuff like

(08:24):
that, and you know, sendingmessages and questions and want to hear us
Like I'll take on it. Youknow. That's the part that threw me
off because I'm like, who wouldn'twant to hear us talk? You know,
and like we put like videos outand people tuning in and doing that,
and the thing that really blew ourminds I think were like two things.

(08:48):
It's when like people in Australia andlike the UK start like us and
stuff like that. Yeah, andwe're like wait a minute, and then
like networks started reaching out to usand stuff, and it was like that

(09:11):
was that was mind blowing for usright there, and it's a beautiful thing.
Man. Yeah. I mean therehave been time we've been like,
man, this is even worth it, But then we got most everything we
wanted. So now it's like wegotta keep pushing. You know, we
never thought we'd have merchandise. Ireally want to wear some merchandise from two

(09:35):
guys who talked, or like peoplewant to see videos of us, like
who want to see us? Likewe just talk? You want to see
us on videos like yeah that though, so you know that's what keep us
motivating. And yeah, you knoweverybody's showing love, so therefore you gotta

(09:56):
keep it going, like you gottakeep it pushing. Makes sense man,
Yeah, I mean you probably gettired, you know, doing podcast.
It do get tired, you know, because you have to schedule this and
like try to meet the deadline, and if they just don't happen, then
this don't happen, and you knowsomething you need to be like I really

(10:16):
don't want to I really don't wantto do this, Like I'd rather sit
back and play two K or watchBovie or something, but I don't know,
you know, it's it's you know, it's it's hard warming to see
people want to be on your show, like you came through, Like you
didn't have to do that. Youcould have been at home back in the

(10:37):
studio and all the guests who camethrough and even the people who called in
and stuff, and yeah, yeah, so but yeah, we gotta I
still say we appreciate all y'all.Definitely
