Stay tuned for a special message from Amber Silence Ministries
and Minister Jody, Good morning, Good morning. I am so
excited to be here. This morning. I woke up with
the most amazing thought, literally and I'm too excited to
(01:24):
share it. So I woke up today literally with a
scripture in my thoughts that had nothing to do with
the crazy dream I hit. That scripture is Matthew Chapter five,
verses fourteen through sixteen, which says, you are the light
(01:45):
of the world. A city cannot be hid. When situated
upon a mountain, people light a lamp and set it
not under the measuring basket, but upon the amp shade,
and it shines upon all those in the house. Likewise,
(02:07):
let your light shine before men, that they may see
your fine works and give glory to your father, who
is in the heavens. That was a mouthful, but let
me share with you why that scripture made me hop
out of bed and just go and flood my social
(02:31):
media channels. You see, and this is for me. My
light shines all over through these social media channels.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
You see.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I'm a writer and it's there that I write, and
it's there that I laugh and that I smile. And look,
have I made some of you laugh? Have I not?
Made some of you smile. Have I not caused some
of you to take a moment to consider something of importance?
(03:02):
So yes, I took time away from one of my
particular social media channel channels, which is Facebook. And it
wasn't a spiritual thing. I simply needed to focus on
the things that I needed to get done. And then
after I spent the first full day off of Facebook,
(03:25):
I tried the next day and the next day, and
I managed three days away until I got to the
fourth and I listened. They say it takes twenty one
days to start or break a habit. And like I said,
it wasn't any type of spiritual cleansing. I just needed
(03:46):
to spend time with my face in a different book.
You feel me. So today, again, my dream had nothing
to do with the scripture. I woke up out my
window that's right above my bed, and I said, thank
you Lord for giving me another day. I text one
(04:09):
of my sisters in Christ who greets me every morning
to say good morning.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
And.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
I thanked her for the greeting that she sent me.
And then bam. Before I even sat up and put
my feet to the floor, the first thing that I
heard was to let my light shine and not hide
it under a basket. So y'all know I was stuck, right,
(04:37):
I was like huh. I laid in bed for a
few seconds, stunts like what waite what, and immediately I
saw this roof over my head. Now, don't get me wrong,
I go out to run a few errands almost every day,
and then on Saturdays I'm out interacting with the public.
(05:00):
So it wasn't that I was told that limited my reach.
I needed to think bigger. When I'm on social media.
My reach spans across the United States or the un
the United States, even to other countries outside of North America.
(05:23):
When I smile, other smell to and vice versa. But
I was told to let my light shine today. So
here I am doing a podcast and I'm plugged back in,
not sure where this day is gonna take me, but
I'm definitely ready for the journey. So as my disclaimer,
(05:48):
I want to say that I'm just sharing what was
dropped in me. This doesn't mean that how I was
granted to let my light shine, which is through my
activity on the various social media platforms and where I
let my light shine, that doesn't mean to say that
this will apply to everyone. There's different types of lights. Now,
(06:12):
there's candle lights and flashlights, lamps, ceiling lights, street lights, headlights, floodlights,
you name it. So just like there are different parts
of the body, there are different types of lights, and
you know what your own light is and how you
are being called to shine. Shine your light. Even when
(06:35):
the world will try to make you feel like you
need to tone it down, do not hide your light. You
are an integral part of this world and the joy
that flows through this day. There is no one else
on this earth like you. Your light needs to shine. So
(06:56):
shine how God created you to and have a blessed
risks of your day.
