TRUST - A Key Ingredient for Answered Prayers (1 Chronicles 5:20)

In addition to praying 'in the name of Jesus', we must also trust that our prayers will be answered.

This is confirmed by Hebrews 11:6 which tells us that in order to please GOD well we must:
1. Believe that HE is, and
2. Believe that HE rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

and Minister Jody. What if there really was a secret
to getting your prayers and suit What if the secret
was so simple that it was easily overlooked. I was

(00:22):
reading in the Old Testament, in the Book of First Chronicles,
chapter five, you know the part where the tribes of
ruben Yad and the half tribe of Manessa ended up
in a war, a struggle about what another nation. And
when I read verse number twenty, I realized that when

(00:43):
we pray, when we seek God for help in any
area of our lives, there is a key ingredient that
must be included in our prayers in addition to praying
in the name of Jesus. That key ingredient is seen
in First Chronicles five, verse twenty. Listen to what it says.

(01:07):
They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the
hagwrites and all their allies over to them because they
cried out to Him during the battle. He answered their prayers.
Catch this now because they trusted in him. The key

(01:29):
ingredient is trust. When we pray to God for whatever
our concerns are in the name of Jesus, we must
believe that he hears us, and trust that he will
answer us. This verse says that He let himself be
entreated in their favor because they trusted in him. Let's

(01:55):
all do something different today. Let's put this day in
the hands of the Lord and trust him with it,
the entire outcome of this day. Let's trust God with
it and see how it all turns out for our good.
