Understanding the Model Prayer Taught by Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:9-12)

We can quote this verse verbatim. It is prayed. It is song. But do we really understand what it is that we are praying when we say this prayer? Do we understand what we are asking of God?

Have we ever taken a second and considered it Beyond just reading it, quoting it, or repeating it after others as a call and response?

This is a very powerful prayer and one that we need to take the moment to ponder deeply in our hearts. Selah

Our Father...
[ We need to recognize that GOD is our FATHER. Our parent. He knows us intimately. He knows the number of hairs on our heads. He awakens us every morning. He provides for our needs and wants to give us some wants also. He cares for us, provides, protects, corrects, and disciplines us like a parent (Hebrews 12:5-12) ]

Our Father in heaven...
[ We need to not forget that Our Father is Sovereign. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent. Nothing is hidden from him. Everything is naked and openly exposed before Him. Therefore we need to humble ourselves before Him. We need to respect Him, and when we approach Him there should be reverent fear because of who He is. ]

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name...
[Hallowed means holy, clean, cleansed from any wrong that might be imputed. When we say that His name is hallowed, we are telling God that He was right all along and we were wrong. We are telling God that we should have listened to Him from the very beginning. We are saying to God that HE is free from the guilt of all that Satan and man have charged him of.

Satan said to Eve that God lied about her and Adam dying if they ate from the tree. That was the first great lie told on our Father.

The next lie Satan told was when he insinuated that God is buying our love by blessing us and covering over us. See Job chapters 1 and 2.]

Our Father in Heaven, HALLOWED be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come...
[God's Kingdom is a government that is going to put an end to the governments of this world. (See Daniel 2:44) We need God's Kingdom to come and fix this world and the earth that we have destroyed with our disobedience. Man has tried. There have been different regimes, different rulers, different types of government and ultimately man has made things worse. We need God's Kingdom because man's government is not working. ]

Your Kingdom come. Your will be done...
[We like to fuss about how we have "free will", yet the truth of the matter is that in our free will we have been messing things up. We have been selfish in how we have operated. We have been allowed free will to show us that we actually need God and that we cannot do things of our own strength and understanding. We need help. We need God's Will to be done. Not God's permissive will, but God's perfect will. ]

Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...
[ God's will is already being done in heaven. The enemy of our Lord has been cast out of heaven. Heaven has been cleansed of the antagonist. We need for the earth to be cleansed of all wickedness too. ]

Give us this day our daily bread...
[ Jesus is the Word of God. Jesus is the bread from heaven. Whenever we call upon the name of Jesus we are asking for our daily bread we are asking for a daily word. We are told that He sent His Word and healed us, and delivered us from our destructions. Notice that the prayer says "daily". We are to read in God's Word day and night. We are to feed on the Word of God daily. We ask God to provide this to us and He did, but are we availing ourselves of this bread. Are we eating the bread that God has given to us? Are we hearing it, listening to it, reading it? ]

Forgive us our debts...
[We have inherited sin. Therefore we have to deal with transgressions (acts of sin) that we commit unknowingly; and iniquities (when we know how to do what is right but we do wrong). We all have this battle. ]

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors...
[ There is no one sin greater than the other. The forgiveness we desire to receive is dependent upon the forgiveness we give to others. ]

and Do not lead us into temptation...
[ Revelation 2:10; James 1:2-4; Zechariah 13:9; and the better-known verse is Matthew 4:1 where the Spirit led Jesus in the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Jesus told us to pray that we do not have to go through that at Luke 22: 40. He warns us ahead of time. Are we listening? ]

But deliver us from the evil one...
[He tells us at James 4:7 how He delivers us. It starts with submission. Again, we must lay down that free will and take upon ourselves God's will.]

Time for me to do my post of this amazing scripture.
This is Matthew chapter six, and the verses is verse
nine through ten. Jesus said, in this manner, therefore pray.
So he was telling us how to pray. He was
giving us a formula. So the first thing he said, Now,

I'm gonna go over this with you guys, because I
want to make sure that everybody's not just.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Saying the words, but understanding. And that's something that has
been standing out to me. I have been speaking about it.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
You know how we need to learn how to activate
these scriptures, you know, and turn these scriptures on so
that they will work for us. You could quote them
all day long, but if you don't understand what you're quoting,
you just saying a bunch of words.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
It's not going to run.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
If you get in the car and you don't have
the key to any ignition, you cannot turn the car on.
To take them and use that car to take you anyway.
You're just sitting in the car. So definitely we're gonna
go over this, and I'm gonna help y'all activate these scriptures.
I'm gonna help y'all turn this scripture on this verse one,

(06:16):
especially because so many is posting it. And I really
hope that in this that I'm sharing with you that
you will understand it in such a way that when
you pray this prayer, you're not just saying the words,
but you're reflecting one everything in this prayer that King
Jesus told us to pray. So the first thing, our Father.

(06:39):
We're gonna we're gonna, we're gonna take this bit. We're
not gonna run through this because every single piece is key.
He stops off by saying, our father. We need to
recognize that.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
God is our parent. He's our parent, and we are
his children.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
As such, there is a level of respect that we
are to always give him. We could not exist apart
from him, We would never ever ever know more than him.
So just because we're growing up, we still need to stay.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Humble before him. Y'all know, y'all.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Got some grown adult children, y'all know that sometimes the
children get so grown that they forget that you're way
older than.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Them, and that you've lived longer than them, and that
you experienced things like.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
There's nothing going on in this world today that is
any different from what's going on in the past. Okay,
so Corona is new, but Corona is still a plague.
And there has been plagues on the face of this
earth before, maybe not called Corona, but there were plagues
and people got through them, you know. And so at

(07:57):
the end of the day, nothing is knew. Under the
son our father. We need to recognize and acknowledge that
he is our father, and we need to humble ourself
and how we talk to him and how we deal
with him.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
And how we address him.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
We need to recognize that's Papa, that's Daddy, that's our
but father, that's our dad, our father in heaven was
the next thing he said in heaven. We need to
recognize his position. He is high and lifted up, he
is sovereign. He is not on our level. The scripture

(08:38):
says that his thoughts are higher than our thoughts, that
he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Think like men do. We're not on his level. He
knows all he sees all.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
He is all in all, because he is the creator,
and again from him, nothing would exist. Our Father in heaven,
we need to recognize his sovereignty.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
And in that, in doing.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
That, that's how we humble ourselves.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
And that's the first thing.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
And that's the first thing he told us in Corinthians,
I mean not Corinthians, in our Second Chronicles, chapter seven.
He said, my people who are boy my name, my
people who are called by my name, will humble themselves
if we come to him like a child, come into
a father, a pearance. And if we recognize the sovereignty

(09:29):
over us, and we humble ourself before that, and we
lower ourselves before, and then we bow before, it's wrong.
He said that, when let me keep going our Father
in Heaven. This first section alone, just that first line
by itself deserves a sealert. It deserves a moment where

you will pause and reflect. But for the sake of time,
that's continued. Hollowick be thy name, how it be your name, Hollowod.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
We're going to start there. That word means.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Holy, it means clean, It means clean from all wrong
that has been imputed.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
You see, what we need to understand is.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
That everything that we're experiencing in this earth in what
we call life, is all because Satan charged our heavenly
father would lie. In Genesis chapter three, verse one through seven,
Go and read it. Satan told Eve that she wouldn't die,
but instead she would be.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Like God, knowing good and evil.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
When he deceived her, tricked her into eating something she
had no business eating, and then she in turn gave
it to Adam and he ate all because Satan lied,
he lied on God. So that's one of the biggest
reasons that we need to declare hollow.

It be thy name, clean, be your name.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Of all our charges that has been fostly imputed, it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
That wasn't the only nine.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
We need to understand that everything God gave to man
and prepared for man was good. Like if you read
in Genesis chapter one and two, God saw everything every
day that he created, He saw and he declared that
it was good.

He saw and declared that it was good.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
And so everything that He prepared and created and gave
to man, gave to Adam was good. And so in
Adam's young state. And the reason why I say in
his young state is because.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
We need to remember Adam.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Was not born. See, we're born, so we understand babies
and how babies need to grow up. But Adam was
never born. He was created, So at one years old
he had the body of a grown man. He was created,
and so because of that he was told not to

(12:05):
touch one particular tree. And it was a reason behind it.
There was a reason. We are so fixated on the
fruit that we fail to realize that the tree of
knowledge of good and evil. That tree had a purpose.
But it was Adam's disobedience that caused him to not

(12:26):
recognize or realize that purpose, because he now.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Had to be removed from the garden.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
And by the way, it was after that mistaken after
he was being removed from the garden, that we come
to find out that it was a second tree of
great importance, and that tree was called the tree of life.

Adam did not.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Get to realize any of that because of his disobedience.
Because of his rebellion and disobedience.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
That we now like to call free will, we got
the ability to choose. We have this free will.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
The second charge that say letting against God was when
he said, regarding Joe, that the only reason that we
serve God is because of how he comforts us and
blesses us.

But if the hedge or protection was.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Removed from us, that we would curse God and die.
So basically, he said to God that he's buying.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Ow we love and affection. That's what he said.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
That's go meeting. Go read job chapter one. In chapter two,
he charged Joe. I mean, he charged God with boding
our affection. So, Hollywood be thy name, Holy and cleanse
be God's name from all the lies that has been

(13:53):
imputed against him. His name be cleared of all of that.
Holy Hollowood be thy name. Everything that God said was true.
Everything that God tries to tell us, but we do
our headed to listen was right. We need to remember

(14:14):
that just as our children are a reflection of us,
so that when our children misbehave we as parents, we
tend to get blamed of how they behave. We tend
to get blamed, but how they were or word not
raised or disciplined.

And we need to keep in mind that our behavior
now reflects on God.

So when we sin, and I'm talking to the Christians,
I'm talking to everybody that knows this verse, that quotes
this verse, we need to keep this in mind. We
need to understand what it means when we're saying, hollow,
would be thy name. See, we need to understand that
no matter what the sin is, when we sin, the

first thing the world is gonna say is And I
thought that was Christian, and that directly reflects on Jesus
Christ because Christian, the word Christian means like Christ, and
so just like Jesus is a reflection of our heavenly Father.
And he said that no one can see the Father

(15:16):
and live. But he also said that when we see him,
we've seen the Father. So too, we are a reflection
of whom we claim.

That we're serving. What we call ourselves Christian. We're even believers.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Because we're still addressing ourselves and connecting ourselves with King Jesus, So.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Our behavior reflects on him.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Therefore, Hollywood be thy name, cleans be God's name of
any wrong, of any wrong, let man be that God
be found true.

But every man a liar.

So it says, your kingdom comes, and this is a
good one. Also, your kingdom come, your kingdom, not man's kingdom.
Not man's kingdom.

We're talking about government. This is a.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Kingdom, is a government. So we're asking God for his
kingdom to come. But we need to understand what that means.
In day in chapter two, verse forty four, it speaks
of God's kingdom putting an in to all of the
kingdoms and governments on the base of this earth. Right now,

are you trying to follow the governments and come up
under the governments of this world right now?

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Because God's government.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
When we ask God for his kingdom to come, we're
asking for Downiel two forty four to come to past.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Which is that?

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Is this?

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Look at that real quick?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Mean all mark's right here, say get back to it, Daniel,
Chapter two, verse forty four.

This is what it says.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
It says, and in the days of these kings we're
talking about now, in the days of these kings, the
God of Heaven will set up a kingdom which shall
never be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left
to other people.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Now, I got that highlighted.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Even different Apart from that, the reason why is because
these kingdoms and governments up today, when one president or
one ruler died, it passes on to somebody else, It passes.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
On to the next ruler.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Home every four years here under the government that we
are living under, every four years, there's a new president
that is elected, and so.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
It passes on.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
But in reference to God's kingdom, it says, in the
days of these kings, the God of Heaven will set
up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, and the
kingdom shall not be left to other people. So for
those who be trying to say, well, you know, God
is gonna put such and soul in all He's allowing

(18:10):
these things to happen for his purpose, and his purpose
at the end of the day, all of these kingdoms
is going to be destroyed, all of these. It says,
it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms,
and it shall stand forever. It shall break in pieces

(18:31):
and consume all these kingdoms. Remember, it says, in the
days of these kings, the God of Heaven was set
up a kingdom that would never be destroyed. And the
kingdom shall not be left to other people. It's not
gonna change hands. It shall break in pieces and consume
all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. So we're

(18:52):
asking over here in Matthew chapter six, verse ten, your
kingdom comes. We're asking God for his kingdom to come.
Now here is the deal. What we need to understand
is as we apply God's work. And this is the
thing that the church has been trying to teach us.
This is the thing that the different pastors and eloquent

(19:17):
speakers have been trying to teach us.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
When we apply.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
God's work, when we open it, read it, understand what
it is, and apply it to our lives, we can
live and enjoy God's kingdom now or on this earth.
That's why Jesus said, we are in this earth, but
we're in this world, but no part of it. We're
in it as ambassadors. We represent the kingdom of God

(19:47):
one earth. That doesn't mean that we're going to disobey
the laws of the land. That doesn't mean that God
set these He allowed that to happen for a reason.
He set the governmental authorities in their places and position
for a reason.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
And whoever disobeys that disrespects and disobeys God.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
It's just like a child going to school when you
represent your parents. The teacher is not your parent, but
you represent your parent when you go to that school
and you sit in that classroom for a certain amount
of time. So we represent God's kingdom on earth. But
in order to represent his kingdom, we need to abide

(20:32):
by the kingdom principles, and we need to understand those
kingdom principles. And we need to understand that those kingdom
principles will cause us to also be obedient.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
To the Lost Land.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Like anyway, your kingdom come, your Kingdom come, We need
God's Kingdom to come. We need to understand the benefits
that we have under God's kingdom. It says will be done,
that this is a great one. This is a great one.
Your will be done the capital wise you are. We're
telling our father in heaven that his will be done.

(21:07):
Now understand very quickly for everybody who likes to promote.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
That we have free will.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
When you're asking for God's will to be done, you
are giving up your free will. You are recognizing Hollywood
be his name. When you say for his will to
be done, you are recognizing that.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
God was right all alone.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
He was right, He was right, and we were wrong.
We have been rebellious, we have been stubborn, we have
been hard headed, trying to do our own thing, trying
to be our own boss. We're asking God's kingdom to
come because our kingdom are our running and trying to
do our own thing. Are sitting on our own thoats.

(21:54):
It's just not working. It's not working. So we need
His Kingdom to come, and we.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Need is will to be done.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
And when we do that on earth as it is
in heaven, we need to understand. God's Kingdom is already operating.
It is already operating, fully, functioning, in doing just fine
in heaven and on earth.

We need His.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Kingdom to come in his will to be done on
earth as it is in heaven.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
We need we need heaven on earth. Y'all are you
catching this? Are you getting this?

Speaker 3 (22:26):
And so in order to enjoy heaven on earth, we
need His Kingdom, not man sitting in trying to make
their own judgment. Man, look, man can never make a
judgment that is fair to everybody. Man can't Man can't
see everything. Man don't know everything. But God that he

(22:48):
sits high. He's in heaven and he looks though there's
nothing hidden from him. He lets us know what to do.
When we disobey him. We're calling him a liar, hollow
it be his name. We need his kingdom to come.
We know from reading the gospel counsel of Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
We know what God is able to do.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
We know how Jesus healed every kinds of sicknesses and
diseases and cast out all types of evil spirits. We
know that, We know that His kingdom.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Needs to come. His will needs to be done, not
our own. Were trying to do stuff our own way.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
We like to tell everybody, I got free will, I
can make my own choices. You need to be choosing
what God tells you to choose. God said, he said,
choosing life, not death. That's what he actually tells. We
need to understand what his will is. Your will be done, y'all,
y'all better be careful with what y'all praying. You better
be careful, especially if you're trying to hold onto your
own will and you're trying to do your own things.

(23:51):
That need to be careful, because when you ask God
for his will to be done, his will overrides yours
all day long on earth as it is. And yes, sir,
that's submission. That's not that's not our submitsing on earth
as it is in Heaven. On Earth, that's that's submission.

(24:12):
That's another humbling on earth. That's it His in hiven
give us this day our daily bread give us this day.
We don't have to worry about tomorrow, or he tells
us not to worry about tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
God got us.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
We need to concern ourself with this day and we
need to ask God for this day for our needs to.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Be met, our daily our daily bread.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
And we need to understand that He got us, He
got us, He got us to give us our debts,
our debts. We need to understand what our debts is.
Sin is something that we all inherited. We inherit it
from our heaven from from Adam. We inherited sin from
Adam because Adam disobeyed our heavenly body, and his disobedience

(25:01):
and rebellious acts put a debt on us. The debt
just transferred down to us. So we need to figure
we ask him to forgive us of these debts, and
then and are not knowing and are not knowing and
not understanding. We turned around and with the faulty knowledge

(25:23):
that we have here, we've created more debt and so
and and that's called transgressions and iniquities. So now the transgression,
that's that is when we sin. These are acts of sin.
The transgressions, they're acts of sin. And the iniquity is

(25:47):
when we know how to do what's right and we
still make a choice of doing us wrong.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
So we need to end it.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
So these this stuff causes debt, and it causes that
to increase on us.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
So we need to ask God to forgive us our debts.
But here is a thing, there's a catch to that.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
If our debts is going to be forgiven, or for
our debts to be forgiven, it is as we forgive
our debtors, which means that anybody who is indebted to
us in any way, we need to forgive them. We
need to for real, for real forgive them.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
We need to look, we.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Need to keep it before the Lord and make sure
we don't need to just assume that we forgive it,
because you know how there's a lot of people that
say I forgive you, but I won't forget. Well, if
you're not forgiving, you're not forgiven. As we forgive our debtors.
The next line says, and do not lead us into temptation.

telling us. He first he said not to fear, don't fear,

You are about about. Something's coming. Yeah, you are about to.

Suffer, and he's telling you that. But he also said,
don't be afraid of it. He says, So who's doing it?
He says, in this is for real, for real, the devil.
So he's telling us who is doing it is about too.
So it's something getting ready to happen. Throw some of you,
so it's not everybody, but some of you into prison.
There's a lot of different types of prison. We're not

just talking about mental bodies with the clankety client. There
is health prisons, there is emotional mental prisons, there is
financial prisoness, relational prisons. He says that you may be tested,
So it's giving us a purpose that you may be
tested and you will have tribulation. You won't go through

something it's gonna be hard. Ten days, and this is
not ten literal days, this is not ten twenty four
hour days. The number ten represents completion and the bringing
of something into order. So he's telling us that it's
gonna be ten days.

In other words, it's gonna be about. It's gonna be.

Gonna come to a completion, and when it comes to.

Completion, it's gonna be ordered.

He tells us to be faithful, do not fear. Be
faithful until death. He's telling us, for how long be
faithful until death?

If you have to die, be faithful.

Until death, he says, and I will give you.

About the testing? This is James. He tells us how
to go through the test. It says, my brethren, you

When you fall into various trials, the testing that we're
talking about, right, knowing that the testing of your faith,
and that's the key. That's what's being tested. Our faith

wait on the north, but let patience have its perfect work,
that you may be perfect and complete. They got that
word again, complete, lacking nothing. There's a purpose for it.
So in Matthew's chapter six again he tells us to
pray that will not be lett into temptation. It's a trial.

It's a trial, it's a suffering as a matter of fact,
Jesus told Peter. He says, Simon, Simon, Satan has asked.

Remember it's a testing of our faith, that your faith
should not fail. And when you have returned to me,
strengthen your brother. In order to return. That means you
might have left, you might have fallen off, you might
have given up, you might have grown weary. But when

you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren. So we're
all going to come under this testing, right, But Jesus
said that we can pray to the Father that we
do not hear it is right here. Pray that you
may not enter into temptation. He tells us to pray that.

So he says, and do not.

Lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Deliver us, deliver us from the evil one. And this
is significant because this again the fact that we have
to ask to be delivered. That's humbling, again, humbling that

we need to cry out for help, help me, help
us deliver us from the evil one. That look, let
me show y'all, let me show you this. I'm sorry,
I keep sitting down and standing up. Let me show
you this.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
This is in James, and this is chapter four talking
about humility. Right. Therefore, submit to God.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Submission it submission, obedience, Submit to God, resist the devil.
Resist is another word that that requires action, and then
it requires intensity. It's an intensity with that, just like
with submission, resistance is an intendant. Therefore, submit to God.

Resist the devil and.

He will flee from you.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Submit to God, Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you. Draw into God, and he will.

Draw near to you. So again, but deliver us from
the evil one. How is that deliverance gonna come?

We have to submit to God James Chapter four seven
and verse seven. And we have to in submitting to God,
we have to resist the devil. It says for yours again,
we're acknowledging God, for yours is the kingdom, not man.
So are we trying to still play a man on

the throne? And are we still trying to fight about
who's sitting in office and who's doing what?

Now? For yours is the kingdom? Yours? Who our Father,
your kingdom Come, Your will be done. For yours is.

The kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

This whole verse is a sea moment. It's something that
we need to take each verse and just really pause
and think about it, not just quoting and saying it. Okay,
look at me, I quoted this, our Father, who are
in heaven, How it would be your name, your kingdom Come,
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our dad, if our.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Dad is, and do not lead us into temptation, but
deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the
kingdom of power and glory forever. Amen, and then we'll
go on about our business. Okay, So what does that mean?

Now?

We have to take these verses.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
And we have to ponjure them and think about it
and think about what it means. And as we do that,
that really will cause us to humble ourselves before the Lord.

And realize that we need him. We need him. I
need your Lord, need you Lord right.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Now, I need you Lood, I need you Lord right now.

Take this one verse at a time, one verse at
a time.

And think about, really, think seriously about what each verse
is actually saying.

Jesus again, I mean in Second Chronicles, Second Chronicles, chapter seven,

causes us to humble ourselves, recognizing him as our father,
recognizing his location, recognizing that he was right all along
and that we weren't submitting, recognizing we need his kingdom
because we've been trying to we've been trying to rule ourselves,

we've been dominating other people and it's just not working.
Recognizing that we need to give back that free will
because we've been messing it up. We've been making a
lot of wrong choices. We need his will to be
done on earth as it is in heaven. We again
submission the earth, submitting and following the lead of Heaven.

(37:22):
We need him for our daily needs each day, this day,
this day, each.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
Day, not tomorrow. But now we need to be forgiven
of our deaths. We have a huge.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Debt and yet recognizing that we can't get forgiven if
we're not forgiving. So we got to forgive our debtors,
because how we forgive others is how we're going to
be forgiven. Praying to him pase not lead us into temptation,
but deliver us. And in order to get that delipmence again,

and we have to submit, acknowledging that he is is
the kingdom. We're ending with that union we started with
that about his kingdom coming, but acknowledging that that the glory,
the power of the king is it all belongs to him.
It all belongs to him forever, how long forever?
