Speaker 5 (09:52):
Feeling good? You guys just played, didn't you guys just play?
Was the two shows back to back or something like that? Recently?

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, we played a Richmond show Virginia.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
In the same fucking day, same as same day, right,
Did you get that?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
That was Middletown, New York. Yeah, that was Middletown.

Speaker 8 (10:07):
So we played at pet Shop June nineteenth, and then
June twenty first, we played at Middlestown, New York.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Hypefest ship a parallel set Maximus. Oh shit, I forgot
about that?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
What?

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Yeah, what's going Wait hold the hold On, Hold On,
Hold On, hold on Maximus n J set and then
Wait two totally opposite, two totally different bands.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Totally two totally different bands.

Speaker 8 (10:30):
So when we played at Hypefest, Parallels went on first, right,
and then Maximus.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
You know, we closed out the show.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
So, so who's Who's like, we're gonna get into Who're
gonna get to the maxim? Who's this parallels? Is this
from like an alternate universe version of this band? But
who is this band?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Is this universe not not far off?

Speaker 8 (10:51):
So myself I played bass, John he plays the guitar,
and LB played like, yeah, lunch By he's in the band,
and pretty soon you're going to be in and Mark,
You're going to be in the band.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
Holy ship Man Zach you and the band. He's producing
it though. Right here, we fucking go keep Zach attacking
the attack.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
How was these shows? How the shows?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
It was dope? Man, pet Shop was amazing. You know,
we got to play upstairs.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Literally it's about time.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 8 (11:29):
And you know, shout out to great Path for putting
us on. Man Daniel in particular, so he's he's the
drummer for that band, and uh, you know he likes
our sound, you know, gave us some love and he
was like, yo, you guys are on so and yeah,
there was it was a good crowd. I would say
it was a it was a dope crowd. Yeah, great

(11:49):
show overall. And what was dope about that show is
that we brought well, he brought the PA system, he
brought the Wolfers and all that stuff.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
So it's not it's it's like a b I don't know,
it's gonna say b yo.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
B like but b yo P. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (12:06):
Yeah, prem dude. It was the most ship and like
the ambience of that place is dope.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Oh dude, I used to go there when it was
an actual pet shop.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah, ship, yeah it was.

Speaker 8 (12:20):
It was a it was a dope show all around, man,
you know, got to sweat our asses off, got to
play our set.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
Can't ask for more really, And the next show was
also with you in Parallels.

Speaker 8 (12:33):
The second the second day, so that second day was
June twenty first, and uh that was with Parallels and
Maximus and J So we did two sets.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Oh ship, Yeah yeah yeah, And that doesn't fucking kill you,
like like I mean we're not in the younger I mean,
I know you guys are, like, you know, in your
thirties or whatever, but still that's a lot of fucking
That's a lot of pressure, dude, A lot of pressure
on the body is too. Fucking bands, two different energies. Yeah,
you know, like it's it's it's for me. I'm like,
I'm almost fifty, dude. I'm like, I couldn't imagine doing
two sets, let alone one set anymore, you.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Know, Yeah, yeah, I guess we just love doing it, man.
You know what I mean?

Speaker 8 (13:09):
For us, it's not a job, man, It's just it
keeps us going, man, It's it just brings us energy.
I think I can speak for everybody in the band
when I say that.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like definitely, like or anything, you
want to grab the mic, lunchbox, you can grab the mics.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Like what do you call it?

Speaker 7 (13:25):
Like even if we're tired playing a double set, Honestly,
like once that backtrack hits and we hear that click
track in our ears, like it's all grow time. So
everything else is, you know, just having fun and like
putting on a great show.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
So how long hell you see? We know, we know
you guys were in a band before we were on
our conquered dream together?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
How did?

Speaker 5 (13:43):
How did not? How long has Maximus Enjy been? How
long is it has? How long? When's he? Did you
start the fucking bit? I'm ovious starting like a ban.

Speaker 8 (13:50):
It started out as a studio project, you know, it
started as an idea because.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
I remember seeing you. You you got this nice, dope
fucking little studio in your house. You put up little
Instagram videos.

Speaker 8 (14:01):
And I'm like, he's doing something. Yeah, something's common, bro.
Yeah yeah, I was definitely cooking. I was cooking with
JFK over here and even Zach towards.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
The end of it. And in the beginning, you really
had all the ideas.

Speaker 8 (14:15):
Yeah, I just I just had just a repertoire of
a lot of songs, man, and you know, I just
has something to say, you know what I mean, has
something to say. And then you know, once those ideas
were completed, and once like I was confident enough to like, hey,
let's get this professionally recorded, this is when I hit up.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
This guy over here is Zach Attack, Zach the b.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
And for the people who are listening who don't know,
he's an engineer, producer, you know, he's dope. And what
he does, this guy's like a virtuoso over here. Not
only does he play the drums, but plays the guitar
like a motherfucker.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
You know, he's like shreds.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
So he's a Rick Rubin with skills. Hell yeah, sorry, Rick,
but you can't play an instrument.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Without a doubt. You know.

Speaker 8 (15:03):
One night that we had a zach Alee at q
x TS, a zach Alie event, and he and he
played six like five or six sets, five sets, five sets, yeah,
five five different bands, five different five different instruments.

Speaker 9 (15:23):
Guitar, and here we go.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
It was.

Speaker 9 (15:26):
Yeah, that was a metal for Musicians event we held
at QXCS and yeah, everyone had been talking about it.
They're like, you should throw a show where you're playing
in all the bands because yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Let's let's zack. Yeah, let's let's put you in the hospital.
You know what I'm saying, bro, come on exactly.

Speaker 9 (15:42):
It wasn't so bad, like you know you think after
you're warmed up, it's just it's flowing. It was like
Chos was saying, it's just.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
As long as the as long as the drinks are flowing.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
You know, you gotta drink a lot of water.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
It was not the right drinks.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Breaks from breaks.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
Oh ship breaks say they just put a bottle up
there for you, right, we're in a diaper.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
So yeah, getting back to the recording process, so I
you know we we recorded.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
Well when you record when when you were recording the demos? Yeah,
who who was on the demos, was it just you alone?

Speaker 8 (16:24):
It was it was me and and then I brought
and I brought those demos to JFK first, and then
he put his own flavor to it, you know, and
put his own input into the music.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
And then you know, that's really how it works.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
Cause I told you, I mean, and like you said,
a lot out of you, I thought you did everything.
I was like, oh shit, Medica, Pally drums man is
doing all the fun I'm trying.

Speaker 8 (16:43):
I'm trying man drums. He sometimes gives me lessons here
and there. But yeah, man, I think it's uh. I
think it's great to learn as many instruments as possible,
you know, so that you come, you know, become diverse,
you know, and you could write songs.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
You know, shit, the fucking Beatles did it, you know. Yeah, man,
I got big day guy man.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 8 (17:05):
So yeah, So we we took we took the song,
we took the demos, took it to Zach, we brought
it into fruition.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I think that was Fall of twenty twenty three.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
And then how many songs did you go in with Zach?
Like straight up like are these are ready?

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Ready? Four songs. Four songs, yeah, four songs.

Speaker 8 (17:24):
So the one one at a time that we put
out a Signals is Igness, broke In, and Jester, which
are out now and all digital platforms. And then we
have one final one that we have not released yet,
and I'm not sure when it's going to be released,
but I know for sure that's gonna be released this year.

(17:48):
This year, it's going to be released, So stay tuned
for that, Stay tuned for that.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
So JFK, how did you? How did you? How did
you like when you when he came up to you
and said, yo, JFK, I got another bang of for you.
Let's go like, how did you react when you heard
the music?

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Like?

Speaker 5 (18:02):
Was it just tickling your fancy?

Speaker 10 (18:04):
It's easy, it's honestly. I've been hearing the demos for
a while and I just want to get in on
it anyway. I mean, even if you didn't ask me,
I would just here's the guitar part. I'd write. So
I probably send it to you and just say like
try this way.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
This way.

Speaker 8 (18:19):
Oh shit, that's that's almost every day with JFK. Like
I write something, I write a demo, and I'll hit
him up and I'm like, listen to it, now, listen
to it.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
What do you think, man, what do you think that's
almost every day with this guy?

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Because you got your own studio set up in your
house too, right yeah? Okay, yeah, so he could just
like just email you a file and you're like, no,
I like it this way, email it back to him.
I'll send it back to him.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Yeah. That's the beauty of technology, right man.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Oh yeah, dude. I mean you back, Like I said before,
I don't like leaving my house.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Now.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Just sit fucking behind my computer, dude. And that's it.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Man.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
I mean I only came out right now because you're
my boys.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I appreciate that. Man. Appreciate that. David and Mark, I
appreciate you guys.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
How'd you hook up with Lunchbox? I remember, I wasn't
going to forget the name of.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
It, Lunchbox. I remember. It's like, Yo, we need a
bass player, you know, And I was just like, you know,
I just wanted to bro. I mean, he's talented, but
like I wanted somebody that I knew, you know what
I mean? And go ahead, go ahead. Maybe I'm not

(19:33):
telling the story correct.

Speaker 7 (19:35):
So me and man, we go, we back fans before
we played shows a million times, so we were already comfortable, like, and.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
This is your main instrument, right, bass is your that's
your baby, Not at all. This is the first time
I'm ever playing bass for act.

Speaker 7 (19:48):
I am a guitar.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Fool dude, wait till you guys see the video at
the end of his brother he fooled me, Bro. I
thought he was just a straight up only bass and
that's it.

Speaker 7 (19:55):
No, I appreciate it. No, it was honestly after like
a bunch of like parallels practices here drive me home
and we just have this routine of like he would
drive me home, we have like these in depth conversations
and then we'll park in front of my house and
listen to all his new music.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Are you talking about, like who's better Iron Man or Captain?
You know, it's just life, you know.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
Sometimes it's good just to have a homie to kind
of like vent to and just like you know, but yeah,
just like kind of like John, like he just kept
showing me a bunch of songs and I was like, damn,
this ship is fire, bro, I gotta get on. And
it's like I gotta get my way in here. So
one day, he just drove me home and I don't know,
out of nowhere. I was just like I saw a
video that he posted of them three jamming out and

(20:36):
I was like, hmm, So I was like, hey, just
throwing this out there. You know, if you need a
bass player, let me know. I didn't even know in
a base or anything. And then like the same week,
the group Chops started, and then you know, we were
I guess was it. This was a lineup ever since.

Speaker 8 (20:53):
I was like, I was like I needed a lunchpots like, yeah,
you're in. You're in, dude and I and we go
way back. I even go way back with zach Alei
to lunchbox JFK. You know, like we we've been through
the thick and thin with each other, man like hearing
each other's stories of other bands and everything, and I

(21:14):
feel like we have some commonality when it comes to
that ship.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
You guys are real calm.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
We are know like like that.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
You guys just like like other bands. You know, you
you could see you see like one dude don't like
the other dude, or you know, like you this dude
just rubbed you the wrong way.

Speaker 8 (21:28):
Look, you guys just seem like yeah, we're yeah, we're
mellow where Yeah, I would say, yeah, we're calm, We're
calm as.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Hell, because I mean a lot of bands like it
just fucking you know, Allen, I was a man. I
hated motherfuckers. Like you know, you guys are like, fuck man,
it's the band I wish I was like a nice
calm you know. You guys could have like a Bobbycue together, bro,
and there's nothing going on. But you guys are all cool.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Yeah, Like we went to Richmond, Virginia. You know, we
got up at seven.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
White boys down there.

Speaker 8 (21:59):
Yeah, yeah, once, but no, man, it was it was
an awesome experience, you know, being with these guys. You know,
Like I think what I love about this band is that,
you know, we take care of business, you know, and
we'd love playing music you know, on top of that.
So I think it just translates into our performance and

(22:22):
translates into everything that we do, you know, when it
comes to this project, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
So and this this show that we did in.

Speaker 8 (22:30):
Richmond, you know, Pigs up to eight or four Underground
that put us on it also rust Eater, Yeah, LB
is wearing the eight or four Underground, you know, wearing.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Got to show some love.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Man.

Speaker 8 (22:47):
You know, not only did they put us on, but
also rust Eater is a it's a band that's from Brooklyn,
New York.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
They're a metalcore about They have that rap, they have
that hip hop.

Speaker 8 (22:58):
Influence as well that they're they're awesome. They put us
on and we we played with them, no drama whatsoever. Man,
We just came there, took care of business.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
They they asked you guys to come out here.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Yeah, they asked yeah, and we're like, hell yeah, dude,
we're there.

Speaker 10 (23:13):
They're a similar vibe kind of starting the same time
that we are, like just getting themselves off the grounds.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Yeah yeah, ship yeah d together.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (23:22):
Like the first show we played together, it was instantly
like we just gravitated towards each other and we were like,
we're going to do stuff together.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
Nice. It's good to meet people out there, at least
on the same waves you and ship you know.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Hell yeah, dude.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
But we're getting, we're getting. We'll get into it. I
want to play a track right now. I want to
play a track for the folks out there. Brokay, can
you explain this that this one I just recently bought
this one this was broken.

Speaker 8 (23:45):
What is broken about broken is about enough following your
gut instinct, you know, and we know how that goes
when you don't follow your instinct. And you know I
I I wanted to be opened to repetation, but you
know for me, since you asked again now following your gut,

(24:06):
not following you intuition, and how that can slowly make
you depressed, unhappy, even destroy you pretty much if you
don't address it. So that's pretty much what this song
is generally about.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
Well, they will be right back, bro with Maximus NJ. Bro,
this is all broken, right.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Back, motherfuckers.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
I know my time, my nails.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
Us from what Joe.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Bad guys got that my.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
My brother because I got I.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
S.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
I was like quite so, so why not go? Why
stup always?

Speaker 5 (27:47):
And we're back bro a Maximus n Jay? What's going
on guys? Bro? I was just we just played broken, bro,
and that just makes me want to break my fist
through the fucking walls right now, dude.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Hell yeah, that tempo changes mean that exactly, dude.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Yeah, it's gone on south. So I guess in the
recording process, like, how was it? How was it recording?

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Was it?

Speaker 5 (28:08):
You know? Was it difficult or you know just like
boom boom boom boom boom.

Speaker 8 (28:12):
You know, I would say, at least from my experience,
I don't think it was as difficult, you know, because
you know, during the pre production phase, you're you know,
practicing the part that you want to lay down, and
you keep on practicing until you know you feel comfortable
that you have the part.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
And then you guys don't get that like like like
when you're just like, all right, we're going to record
just one part, just keeps sucking up, oh don't we.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
We had some of those.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Yeah, yeah, I had some of those, and when I
was playing, I forgot what song, but it was one
of the songs that we put out, and yeah, that's
that shit happens. And then instead of your ego getting
in the way and for making things, you know, go
smooth during the recording process, sometimes you know, I'll give
the guitar or to him or give it to him,

(29:02):
you know, because there's no egos here, man.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
You know.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
That's that's how we look at it.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
And uh, I mean how Jamie Josta does it? Bro
he mad, He just makes it the main thing and
then he's like you played.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Better you do it, you know, like it makes me
sound better.

Speaker 8 (29:15):
Yeah, because you know, you know, overall it's about the
band sound, you know what I mean? You know, So
that's how I look at it.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah, what about everybody's influences? Ollia bands all fours?

Speaker 10 (29:32):
Oh shit, the influence is the one I was comes
to mind. It's not a particular band, but it's uh,
like you just said, Jamie Josta his Headbanger's Ball, Okay,
I was probably like fourteen, it's thirteen on that startup,
and I would just watch that religiously and to get
all my bands and favorite music.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Well, he he got to pick that ship. I mean,
Ricky Radman didn't get to pick shit. He only played
what they told him to. Jamie at least got to
pick his shit.

Speaker 10 (30:01):
Brought the guys he knew on for interviews and stuff.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
But it's the best.

Speaker 5 (30:05):
So that, like that overall was probably the biggest influence
on me. That was a good doubt that to me,
Ricky was good, But Jamie's head Bang it was more
fucking you know, more of my style of music I
like to listen.

Speaker 10 (30:16):
To and ship you right, did you already have like
a I had like Metallica and Slayer and Cold bands
like that. But then it was just more underground, more hardcore,
more stuff like that that I didn't know about at all.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
We're gonna get to it because you guys, because you
guys play with a legend.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
I know that, Yes, you know, So we'll get into
that in a little bit. Do you guys play with
a legend? Dude? Yes, yes, we do.

Speaker 8 (30:37):
For me, I I remember my boy he was he
did a lot of BMX, right, and he brought a
CD right No no, no, no, not him, but uh
he came over to my house. He had the self
titled album of slip Knuts uh CD and he put

(30:59):
it in my CD player and press play and I
listened to Bleed I'm sorry not Bleed, Wait and Bleed
for the first time, and I just became hooked to
this genre. You know, this aggressiveness, this you know, chorus
singing choruses, but like you know, the versus being like
really in your face. And then ever since I became

(31:19):
a fan, you know, I picked up the guitar and
went from the new metal era slipknod to system up
down to mud Vein and then it went to.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
It's like the rest is history. This is funny. It's
called the Johnson.

Speaker 5 (31:40):
Johnson.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
You know, my mother bought like this cheap ass guitar
for me.

Speaker 8 (31:46):
You know, she saw how much I was into it,
so she's like, you know, I'm not going to buy
you the most expensive one and then you like trash
it because she didn't know, like if this was going
to like be something I would be doing for the
rest of my years.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Later I would smash it in the music Oh.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Yeah later on.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah, yeah, that's the one, the blue one.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
That was a nice looking guitar though.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Man.

Speaker 8 (32:09):
Yeah, you know, so we had keV three five seven,
Kevin right, keV three Ken fuck, I'm so sorry, Ken
sorry Ken three five seven, tagging it up, you know,
painting it and everything.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
It did not look like that at all, Man did not.
It was plain looking. I was just like, yeah, we
gotta we gotta make this guitar look dope as fuck.
So yeah, he uh he broke it. You still have it?

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Yeah, I have ye.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Oh Man, that was good Man, that was good. But yeah,
that was that was for me, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (32:46):
Those were my music musical influences in the beginning, and
then everything else started to diverge, you know, into.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Metalcore and then uh, a little bit of hardcore like
hate Breed a little bit, you know, I was.

Speaker 8 (32:59):
I'm a big fan and of in your face kind
of music, you know what I mean, like heavy vocals,
you know, clean, clean choruses, you know, as you can
see in the music that we we make over here.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
So what about use zach attack.

Speaker 9 (33:17):
Oh man, there's such a There was a you know,
initially it was the same thing like during that skateboard
era early two thousands, late nineties where you know, X
games was a thing. All the kids were out on
the going to the skate parks and stuff, and they
had the samplers, and that's definitely how I initially got
into you know, Limp Biscuit and Lincoln Park and you

(33:40):
know new metal, I guess. But soon after when I
picked up a guitar, everything changed straight to metallica Ozzie
Priest made and you know, like the classics. I always thought,
you know, you play guitar, you should listen to the
the guys who created the sound of an electric guitar.

(34:01):
And then from that it transitioned. It was more prog stuff,
dream theater Symphony X and more power metal, and you know,
Blind Guardian and Stratavarius and all those bands. I had
a death metal phase saying, you know, necrophages, cryptops. I mean,
the list just goes on. But as a drummer, you know,

(34:21):
there was throughout the years there was different instruments that
I was starting to play. I don't necessity of needing
to record actually, and in playing different instruments, each instrument
had different something to learn from each. So I was
listening you know, always musician purists, I guess, and you know,

(34:41):
eventually just got into more jazz fusion and studied some
jazz guitar and drums.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
I did not pitch you saying fucking jazz, Doug.

Speaker 9 (34:50):
Yeah, I mean I don't listen to jazz so much,
but jazz fusion, for sure. There's some great you know
Alan Holdsworth's, but yes, all those nice everybody thinks the
musical you.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Lunchbox, Well, I'm gonna go totally.

Speaker 7 (35:06):
Well, I guess, just like the rest of us, because
we're all kind of in the same age group, it
was new metal for me. I mean, corn once I
saw a head in Monkey, I was like, those guys
are so fucking cool, like but kind of kind of
like was that song? Like, I was super into them,
and as soon as I got a guitar in my
hand and I tried to learn their songs, I was like,

(35:28):
I have no idea what's going on right now? So
I kind of went more of like a arrhythmic or
I went more into like learning, like I got into
like punk music and literally like Green Day Dukie.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Album and Offspring. I just once I learned power chords.

Speaker 7 (35:43):
I just I played them religiously until I was just
like locked in with rhythm and I was like, all right,
now I can play with whoever I want.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Incense.

Speaker 7 (35:52):
So nowadays I'm definitely more into Oh I guess metal
core phase. I gotta give a huge shout out to
Poison Well hell yeah, oh yeah dude. They were a
great band to come up to and nowadays, I mean
it's hard to pinpoint anything at this point in our lives.
I think we're all open to anything and we take
inspiration from anywhere. Uh but I'll just give a shout

(36:15):
out to uh Win Waker.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Love that band.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
All right, Oh yeah, you guys got any shows coming up?

Speaker 8 (36:22):
Or yes, we have another show coming up this Friday
in Middlestown, New York. Shout out to Chris, who's the
promoter of that show, you know, putting us on and
we're gonna be playing with Let's see if I remember
if I were you, it's a good metalcore band. It's

(36:44):
gonna be a metal core night, you know, because essentially
this is what this band genuinely is. I would say
we're traditionally like that metalcore band, little influences hardcore as well.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Let's see who else were playing with? You guys remember
the bands?

Speaker 1 (36:59):
I know?

Speaker 8 (36:59):
It's if I were you dead within days.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
These guys are fucking high as hell coming up these names.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Dude, holy ship, what's the name? I can never pronounce
the name? Uh like a Caine? A Caine?

Speaker 7 (37:17):
Okay for letting us use your guitar cabinet last week?

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Yeah, and then I can't remember. Oh yeah, Feed the addiction,
Feed the addiction.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (37:30):
Yeah, they're they're dope, man, They're they're they're they're really dope.
So I'm you know, we're really excited to play on
that bill, you know. And uh, the stage is pretty
dope too. It's a nice, big stage, a lot of
room for activities.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
You know.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
We like to move.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
Yeah, huh oh, we'll get into the right noow man,
how did you got how did you guys get? You
guys played with? You guys play in Scarhead? Right is
a Scarhead?

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (37:57):
How the fuck do you guys get hooked up in
in in to get into fucking scar It? That's a
that's that's the d MS territory right there. Yeah, you
gotta be in it, you know. I always thought you
got to be in that to play with Scarhead.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
We were going on a We're going on tour with Scarhead,
so there you go.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
Yeah, just doing two shows a night.

Speaker 10 (38:21):
We were playing with Concrete Dream and then we were
doing the Scarhead set on guitar and bass, and that's
how we got started up with Danny. We did a
few shows leading up to that, and then when we
got back it was like I love doing it, Like, yeah,
hit me up for anything show.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (38:36):
Now, actually the tour they just did, you couldn't do it,
but they had a Gina Big Rob Shreds and King
Relic do it and those.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Yeah, he's a man, dude. Shout out to King Redliic Bro.
I missed you, dude.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
I want to shout down. They've been doing Scarhead and
like that.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Shout out to oh yeah did they they just cut
off and Dimmy too, man, shout out to Demmy too. Man, yeah,
Zach Dorn as well.

Speaker 5 (39:03):
The scar had just got all Rob Rob. I'm sorry,
I can never pronounce your I can't pronounce Italian names.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
Oh ship, Oh oh that's what I have, LB. I'm kidding.
I'm getting bro.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
See if it still pops on, dude? Now, well we
still got the audio running. That's fine man, you know,
but yeah, man, fucking you got anything? Mark, I have.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
Nothing when your next show? You just went over that.

Speaker 10 (39:37):
Yeah, actually talking with legends too. We played with Smoke
a d with Danny.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
And Hoya and yeah, yeah we played with Hoya.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
I forgot about that fucking band. It don't. Motherfucker's a
fucking killer, dude.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Yeah they are, Man, I don't know. It's computers.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
Fucking can fuck your computer? You know it turned on
fucking Apple. Yeah, yeah, I might switch the PC now, man,
that can help you out with Yeah, it's fucking the computer, man,

(40:15):
fuck it, yeah, fucking ship man. Well, what'd you guys
think about that last Ozzie show. I've been wanted to
I mean, I've been wanting to add. I ask all
fucking rock eyes you what did you guys think about
like just the lineups that were there and and how
like you know, like I know you could see Ozzie
wanted to get up out of that chair, dude, but
it was a no go bro.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
You know it was you know, it was amazing to see,
you know what I mean. Definitely one for the history books.

Speaker 8 (40:45):
I would say, you know, despite of you know, his condition,
for the fact that he put himself out there in
front of the whole world.

Speaker 5 (40:52):
And I don't think he had any effects on his
vocals or anything. I think that was just natural voice.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
That that last song he I know, he turned up.

Speaker 5 (41:04):
The songs, yeah, but he didn't sing something and he
got right back in though.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
It was like, yeah, I gotta say this.

Speaker 7 (41:10):
It is awesome to see the community, like the metal
community just come together and like just you know, get
praised to not only one person, but just the scene
and the culture itself. Like it's beautiful to see everyone
come together and just do a bunch of super groups
doing cover songs.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Like it was.

Speaker 5 (41:28):
It was fucking cool, man. I mean the supergroups, it
was cool, but you know, I was more or less.
I wanted to see what Sabbath was gonna do. You
know what I mean? You know I mean, and I mean,
I tell you right now. I don't know why I
didn't never fuck to bill Ward but in the last record,
because bill Ward was fucking man one or two little
fucking flutters. But I mean, the dude was like, what
seventy somethings old, I can't expect fucking perfection, you know exactly, Yeah,

(41:54):
but he fucking killed the dude.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
He killed it.

Speaker 5 (41:56):
Man, Black Sable was fucking I mean, Ozzie show, I
can I can? I can live without Zach you know.
I know he's New Jersey dude. I like New Jersey dudes,
but I could live without fucking spit out.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Bro lit that ship up.

Speaker 5 (42:11):
He was just fucking you know, ship.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Lit that ship up. There's a bunch of musicianship dudes
and there that lit that up.

Speaker 7 (42:18):
Bro shut up to.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
Tomillo's son playing Jack and that's who that was. Yeah.
I was ripping on his kid until I found ou
whose kids they were, and I was like, all right,
they're cool.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Started out Once you found out exactly.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
Dude, I'm like, who the fucking this fucking dude's rocking
with kids again. Brother, then never mind Junior's eyes, which
is sucking. Dude. Ax needs a stop, Dude, they shot stop.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
I've been watching clips. I'm like.

Speaker 5 (42:52):
A million dollar question. Who do we all think I
kicked off the tour or the show?

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Molly?

Speaker 5 (43:01):
You sure what he kep saying?

Speaker 9 (43:05):
Yeah, I don't want to be the one here.

Speaker 5 (43:10):
Everybody's saying it apparently. Uh yeah, well they say they
raised like almost like forty six million dollars or something
like that.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Bro, that's awesome. Look at that, bro, that's all.

Speaker 5 (43:25):
They wanted to cut. Oh something the crew wanted to
cut Jesus fucking Christ Brott exactly. You would think John
five would have been like, no, no, no, no, we
gotta do it. We gotta do it, you know. Yeah, man,
So what do you guys got coming up in the future.
I we we only got a little bit left.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Man.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
We all got fucked. I got fucked in the fucking
rain and ship you know, starting up and stuff. Man,
what do you what do you guys got coming up?
And if you got what are you guys dropping next?
You know stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (43:53):
Yeah, like we mentioned before, we uh were dropping another single,
right somewhere this year, we're gonna be dropping that and
then we're gonna be dropping in an EP.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Oh ship, Yeah, we're gonna be dropping.

Speaker 5 (44:11):
Bands. Dude, get me with the singles and you get
dropped the man.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
So when this song drops, it's going to be dropped
with the EP. And and we also have another song.

Speaker 8 (44:24):
We have an additional song as well, so that's going
to be included in the EP, and there's going to
be a feature in that of which I'm not going
to uh say, you know, because I wanted to be
a nice surprise for you know, the locals saying and
for the people who are listening, and uh yeah, I
mean that's what's that's what's happening with us.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
We're gonna be playing more shows.

Speaker 8 (44:49):
There might be a show, I'm not sure, but there
might be a show happening in Michigan with a band
called Heart Sick.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
There are dope.

Speaker 8 (45:00):
Metalcore band and they they know forty below Summer. They're
within that realm with El Nino and and everybody. They
and Non Point and they they really bring uh their
performances amazing, top notch.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
For sure.

Speaker 6 (45:21):
Like we thought we had energy and then we saw
these dudes like that, you know, no disrespect, but some
older dudes that were kicking it harder than we were,
and we were totally inspired.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
Yeah, we were totally inspired.

Speaker 7 (45:34):
We were like, all right, we gotta kick it up.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Yeah, dude, Yeah, heartsick. That's their name.

Speaker 5 (45:40):
And what's the name of what's the name of the EP?

Speaker 3 (45:42):
What are you gonna call?

Speaker 8 (45:44):
You know's what I'm gonna tell her right now. It's
a Spanish phrase. It's that what enters bad doesn't leave good.
So you know, pretty much like I like talked about

(46:04):
in that broken like the what's the meaning behind it?
If I were to give a sentence what the EP
is about? It's just not following your gut instinct? Okay
about ship, I mean, I'm pretty sure we never fall,
you know, not never due the end, dude, I'm like,
life lesson, life lesson?

Speaker 7 (46:24):
Right, Sometimes there are just a bunch of dudes that
like to learn the hard way, and it's not a
bad thing, but it just builds some character. Kind of
figure out your way.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
Yeah, you kind of figure out your way. So that's
what it was called.

Speaker 5 (46:38):
Man, you're gonna call it I was, I mean, thank
you guys for coming in I mean more man. Next
time we'll do a longer one and stuff like that. Man,
you know, God fucking his fucking rain and everything sucking
us up and ship today. Man, No problems coming in bro,
