Speaker 1 (00:06):
All right, here we go part two of our redraft
ten team PPR mock draft. This is rounds ten through twenty.
This is where you find the sleepers. We've got analysis,
we've got breakdowns. We've got the people for you to
draft in those late rounds that could help you in
your league. So you want to know who it is.
(00:27):
Tune in, hit the liking sub. We got a great
show for you. Let's go, what's up? What's up? Everybody?
(00:50):
I got a crew, got my god, Brian, my god Dan,
and then Hype, the one and only Greg in the house.
How's it going, fellas?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Good good man? How are you man.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Ready to draft? As Michael Pittman at the ten to one, Uh,
Brian probably sniped, hoping he was going to make it
back around. Uh, Chris is up at the ten two Uh.
By the way, we have reached the halfway point, so
rosters are full. We are into the bench. So now
I feel like when you shift into the bench, you're
looking for players that have potential to own a job,
(01:26):
like high end handcuffs, wide receivers that could pop off,
especially young wide receivers. When I typically go heavy running back,
I'll tag in some of those rookie wide receivers with
that had that are looking at you know, significant jobs,
you know that have really good narratives in camp, you know,
and I think one of them probably goes right here,
(01:48):
knowing Chris, but we'll see.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, he took Brian Robinson. I was, I was really hoping.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
I think he takes John Smith at the ten two.
Did not exp that that let's see here.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Is that an autopick.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Not an auto pick?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah, that was that's surprising, but hey, that's a pick
right there. You never know John Johnny could. I just
I find it hard for him to take over frid
and with completely, but John.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Could have some use.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
It's hard enough to get targets to the tight end
as it is, and then you're gonna put him in
a tighten committee situation.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, you know, I've got two good wide receivers that
I could depend on. I've got several wide receivers in
my queue that I'm gonna take from here on.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
So I'm gonna take a shot on somebody that got
significant draft capital. I thought Chris was gonna take him,
but got significant draft capital, uh for a team that
doesn't typically spin draft capital on this position. Uh, so
the possibility and the potentials there, I'm gonna take Magie.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Hey, he's out there when it's just two wide receivers.
So he's saying it seems to be the better bet
over and read right now.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, I think Jayden Real, I think those two run
that offense. I think that there you got Craft, it's
going to kind of be in and out there. But
the as far as the wide receiver group, it feels
like it's gonna run through those two. And you don't
invest that kind of draft capital on a wide receiver
if you're not gonna play them, period, you know. So
Bicell's on the clock at the ten four. So far
(03:26):
on his team, he's got three running backs r J. Harvey,
Caleb Johnson, and the checko one tight end t J. Hockinson,
and all five wide receivers Lamb, the Kuo, Wilson, Harrison,
and Worthy. So he tops it off here at the
ten to four. So and he goes Remandre Stevenson, I
(03:51):
I can't, I can't, I can't go. I can't talk
on Remandre. It's gonna be it's not gonna be going
Pittman before Downs Downs going to be the new Wan Dell.
I don't know that really. Yeah, Pittman has been Piman
has been fine every single year. Like you know, we'll
(04:11):
see how that works out. Monty takes Mark Andrews tight
end and then Dan, you take David and Joku at
the ten to six.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yeah, So I was waiting for Andrews to come off
the board because that was going to tell me when
the draft naw Joku, because then that's when my tier
completely drops and we started getting to like, all right,
we're gonna be streaming tight ends after this. So remember
this is PPR average points per game. Nu Joko was
tightened five, all right, And look, there's two things you
wanted a tight ends in order to have a chance
(04:41):
the top five. The guy either needs touchdowns or needs
a ton of targets. Du Joku, in what only a
handful of games played essentially last year, just had it
up in front of me and I lost it. Uh.
He missed six games last year, he still had ninety
seven targets. And that was with dtr and fumed, Deshaun
Watson and then every other scrub quarterback. He was like
(05:02):
the only guy in that Brown receiving attack who didn't
need James Winston to be decent. The only one Jerry
Judy needed Jamis to be good. Seda Tillman needed Jamis
to be good. He was the only one who was
actually consistent because he was getting featured in that offense.
And when you have quarterbacks who have no arms, can
you pick a sh door Sanders deal in Gabriel You're
gonna target David a Joku constantly.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
So your Flaco guy is what I'm hearing.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Well, I would they all throw it to the ball.
They all throw the middle of the ball, middle of
the field before Tracy, Right, Tracy's on the board.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Isn't I think so? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah, maybe no, Yeah, Tracy's already gone.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah he is, Okay, yes, Scotty's I've uh, it's pretty
well known that I'm a humongous scat fan and uh
he went.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Just before me, which bums me out. But he's gonna
do it.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Well.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
I took Warren because I think he still gets plenty
of touches this year, and he is, you know, featured
in the pass game for them out of the backfield
and coming out of the tenth round. I'll take him
as like a as a third running back.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
You got Chris Rogers, Spredsball ras see John Who taking
over for Firemouth, Jalen Warren and Matthias the worst pick
of this mock draft. You know, Warren sneaky. He's sneaky.
I don't hate it, Hype, he's sneaky here going at
the ten nine, Pierce Aal the ten ten. I like
that pick. And JK Dobbins for you at the eleven one.
(06:43):
Is he a viable guy or is he a smoke screen?
Speaker 5 (06:45):
Brian Well right now getting him in the eleventh round.
He doesn't have to be a viable guy for me,
you know, right now, he's a bench player for me.
I'd love to be able to sneak him in as my
second flex player. But it gives me that opportunity to
get a piece of this Denver running game. And if
he comes up to know thing, then you know. I
dropped him after a week three and I move on.
I make that decision. But I love the risk shot
(07:05):
here in the eleventh.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Yeah, I agree Dobbins is Yeah, if he came back around,
I would have taken him.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
He's he's a great late round shot.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah. Sean Payton uses multiple running backs period. We know
he can get two running backs Fantasy Football featured like
it wouldn't It wouldn't shock me if you told me
both RJ. Harvey and Dobbins were built top twenty five
running backs.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, well so we got JK. Dobbins. Tucker Craft goes
the eleven two's hyeah, Chris hating that pick. I was
banking on Craft and then hype your up at the
eleven three.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yeah, I uh so to go back to downs here
being the next Wandell Robinson.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I don't think I would call that necessarily.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Good either, but he uh the impact rate I was
talking about with you know, fourteen points a game and
at least sixty percent of your games he hit that.
He was one of the like fourteen players that hit
it last year.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
So he's still just fine with ar playing.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
He still gets plenty of points. He just has some
games where he basically disappears. But getting him in the
eleventh round is insane, So I'll take him all day.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah, where it is a compliment is that remember one
Dale Robinson with Daniel Jones, especially if he wants up
being the starter, had one hundred and forty targets. Like
the volume was there off the chain because he again
we're talking about guys who target the hell out of
the middle of the field. Jones is one of those guys.
That's where Piman gets left out, Alec Peerce gets left out,
the Downs and Warren of the guys who might be
(08:40):
more featured if they go to Jones option.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, yeah, oh okay.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
So I'm up on the four ums. So this is
another one I don't normally do, but I feel like
this is too good a value at this point. So
we don't know who the wide receiver won for the
Green Bay Packers is truly going to be like people.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
They don't have a wide receiver one.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
That's the problem, and that's part of the problem. But
I will say this, and I think I said this
on my show a couple of days ago.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Wait what show is that one.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Of these pet Operation Domination baby? You know it?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Yeah, one of.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
These wide receivers for the Packers are too low. Now
we may not necessarily know exactly which one is, but
one of them's too low. And for the first five
weeks of this season, Jayden Ree was a wide receiver one.
The issue is the issue is is that they used
him in a dee bow light roll and unlike Debo,
when it's two receiver sets, he doesn't typically get out there, right,
They got to go through receiver sets to get him
(09:32):
out there. But I think this guy's more talented than
what he gets to. Well, he has gotten to play,
let's just put it that way. Jordan Love was not
great last year. Matt Lafleur is like an every other
year coach where received like the offense just kind of
spike on those odd years. I think there's a chance
here and I'm taking him in the tenth round for
some spike weeks.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
That's my biggest fear is the spike weeks. Last year,
only thirty five percent of his games did he get
over ten points. He only had a sixteen percent target
share as well, so he needs to like he did
in those two of those first like four or five games.
And that's just my biggest thing is I always picked
the wrong week. So those players aren't built for me.
I guarantee you when I start those types of players,
you put them on your bench, folks. That's just how
(10:12):
it works. So I just don't have the ability to
work with a player like that. But I agree there
is going to be some points and I want a
piece of that Green Bay offense.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Ben said, Reed is so good with the ball in
his hands, sick handles, you know, good call there. And
then we got after Jane Reed, we got a Mecca
Buka at the eleven six. Nausei Harris at the eleven seven.
I sell you stacking running backs now, I really like it.
I'm on the clock and you know when I go
(10:43):
running back heavy and I have a couple of stud
wide receivers and this is how I did really well
last year. I will I am not afraid of rookies,
especially at the wide receiver position that is like my
I'm willing to risk it because they're cheap and who knows,
And I don't know if you guys have seen the
tape coming out of the out of Houston on this
(11:06):
guy in this offense, but I'm excited. I'm gonna take
Jayden Higgins here.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Oh I hate. I was hoping he's gonna follow that round.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
He dreaming. Baby bo Nix goes the eleven nine, followed
by Darnell Moody at eleven ten, Keon Coleman at the
At the twelve to one, Chris is back on the
clock at the twelve two. Who Yeah, sorry, guys. You know,
I really like Jayden Higgins. I you know, I think
that he can do what they hope Stefan Dicks would do.
(11:42):
And even if Nico has any you know, if we
go by history, he typically misses time. I just think
Jayden Higgins has the opportunity.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
To blow Nico doesn't need the miss time for Jaden
Higgins to blow. Ups to find Tank Dell was awesome.
Even with Nico Collins going off. This offense has room
with CJ. Stroud as a point guard for two wide receivers,
maybe three, but at least two wide receivers get the
deal done.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Like this offensive line is trash too, So if the
running game can't get going, they're going to be throwing
the ball a lot, kind of like they were at
the beginning when they had three viable wide receivers. So
I love the pick as well.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Yeah, the Diggs and Collins were just helping each other
out on the field the whole year. They were both
playing great. Nico's best games were when Diggs was on
the field. So when they have two to go to
stroudle find the open guy and throw them the ball.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, man, this pick is like there's nobody of value that, like,
everybody that I want is so far below where we
are now currently in the draft, which is a really
interesting place.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
A second quarterback. Man, come on, I don't have.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
A quarterback yet. Oh that's why I'm debating. I mean,
I guess.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
You can make after what you drafted in the first
three rounds about it.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
I mean, sure, yes I have I have zero shares
of this quarterback, but I can get behind it. I
can take actually like a couple better. But again, based
on the stack that you're so highlighting, I guess I
could take brock Party right here.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Twelfth round.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Yeah, well you got George Kittle. You got to see him.
See there might be the two top targets he has
the year.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Anyway, Oh yeah you have too. Okay, this is the
Niner team over here, right.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
I don't hate and like I said, the people that
I want, like we've got, I've got people that down
the roster line that I really want. So I may
go ahead and grab you know, Luther Burdens, somebody that
I thought about. I think, like where you said Dj
Moore could be the amen ra, I think Luther burden
(14:05):
can can be the Amon ra. I think Luther Burden's
a significant talent. So I like that pick a lot
from mad at football guys. Dan, you're on the clock.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Yeah, So this is where I would if I had
an IR spot, I would take brand Ayyuk. This is
a mock draft. We don't have IR spots. I'm not
taking brand Eyyuk, but I just kind of wanted to
throw it out there. This is where you take a
shot on that a guy who maybe second half of
the season comes back and plays really well in the playoffs.
I just want to put that out there. Anyway, getting
back to my pick here, I'm going to take my
home run threat again. At this point, we have our
(14:40):
starting lineups in place, We even have our top bench
guys in place that we know we can plug and
play on a week to week basis. Now, I want
to take somebody who has a chance, a chance to
win me a league in the second half of the year,
and that to me is base shall tune.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
All right, sounds like sniped again for Brian. Brian, you
know you had the first overall pick. You're supposed to
not be You're supposed to be unsnipable.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
I reached on JK. Dobbins out the Wazoo because I
figured this crap was gonna keep cappening.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Oh man, I gotta be honest. I don't get it.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
I'm not not like, I'm not being a fen I
just just consensus. I don't understand the Tutan thing. There's
both Tank and Atn have like very like their roles
are instilled in the offense, in the running game. So
maybe for me, I don't think that Tutan's a bad
player by any means. I just the way that it's
set up. Those guys have been in the team for
(15:38):
a while. I don't know if.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
This is the year that Tutan does it. I think
it might be another year or two.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
It may be, it may be not. And again, this
is a lottery pick that we're talking about here. But also,
both the guys you just mentioned not part of this regime.
They weren't part of him Cohen regime. He base all
Tune is part of that regime. And I have not
seen a guy who has a profile type as close
as Jamal Charles as base Shall Tutin does. Tank Bigsby
was a nice player, but it wasn't always consistent. We
(16:05):
know what his limitations kind of are Travis Etn I
don't know. He looked like he was thirty five years
old playing out there last year. Now, I think his
role as a receivers set. But we also saw that
even if Cohen were to use him, let's say in
Rashad white vein, that leaves the door open for somebody.
And you're leaning on Tank because you want him first
two downs to be explosive break off those bigger runs. Well,
(16:27):
Tuton's more explosive. So the question is going to be
the fumbles, right, can he get the fumbles under control,
because otherwise he'll never He'll never overtake him. Don't don't
disagree with you one percent there. But Cohen's big claim
to fame the reason why the Bucks became the fourth
best scoring offense in the NFL last season. Everyone looks
at Baker in the passing attack, it was because they
committed to the run game and it opened up all
(16:49):
the passing links. Like, that's what Liam Cohen's going to
try to commit to for this team to make things
easier on Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, I love.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
With this.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Well, I was gonna go with sharponay uh and then
he got snagged. So this one might be a little controversial,
but I just I want to go with someone who's
got the potential for some explosiveness. I know there's been
talk about him in camp right now, but I think
there's a shot that he he can get some good
plays down a stretch in the season.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
I mean, he's called the version of of the Basehall, right, Jayden.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Blue, Yeah, kind of, He's just Jayden Blues.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Also gives two point h you know, just throwing that
one here, get out.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Of here, Gibbs Claire, not that deep.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
I'm I'm I'm being a little facetious, but I think
he's he's got that, like you know, that style of play,
like light, He's he's got explosiveness at least. So if
he can not be lazy, if that stuff is true
and just like keep the ball security better, then I
think he has he has a chance, at least maybe
(18:02):
down the road in the season to be worth something.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
See guys, BEI j'all tuning at the twelve six, Zach
Charbone at the twelve seven, Jayden Blew at the twelve eight,
Taj Spears goes at the twelve point nine, and benjamincown saying,
do not say Gibbs two point zero. Matt scientist Sam
Bigsby is the RB one in Jacksonville. Write it down.
We shall see. And Brian, you're on the clock at
(18:27):
the turn twelve ten and thirteen to one.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Looks shooting charbon a spears all in the Q. I'm
a big Spears guy. I think with the injury issue
that we had last year, I think he's gonna be
a lot more of this offense. The offensive line did
get a lot better. Callahan the offense that they brought
in their second year guy. He wants to get the
ball moving more. So I was all for that. Oh boy,
at this pick? All right, yeah, here we go. I'm
(18:54):
putting some Cleveland on the board. Let's get your room forward.
You know, we've got lots of situations here building around
you know, rookie Judkins. But if the defense doesn't lock
him up, someone else might. So I think I'm gonna
go ahead and take the pass catcher in this backfield.
It's a PPR league, So give me give me Ford.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Oh man, soon he did he get an injury? Isn't
he like hurt?
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Yeah? Practice, it's July.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
We got this.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
We got this.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Yeah, I mean all the players. I mean, what was Mooney?
He just popped up with a shoulder injury too. You
know we've got players getting hurt left and right.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, it's round twelve. I just it's it's It makes
me a little worried. I think I'd rather take Samson.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
But said, when's the Tesla pick coming? I know it's coming. Look,
he's on my docket. I don't know about this league,
but Kyle pitts at.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
I'm gonna get hurt again. Let's do it. Let's do it.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Hurt me, hurt me.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
I'm ready.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Hey, look, if you need a boomer bust shot, like
a high upside play that could it'd be a bus
but then could also be electric. It's a good take.
I mean it's tight end. Most people in ten team
leagues like they stream tight end any of the stream quarterback.
We have eighteen roster spots here, so you might get
to take two at each position. But you know, I
(20:15):
don't hate the pick. I like it. Tyler Warren going
at the thirteen to two and hype your back on
the clock. Chris said, we'll never touch pits again. Laugh
out loud. All right, hype you're on the clock.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah, just something I wanted to point out real quick.
If you look at the way the draft board is going,
and a lot of them do. Like if you notice
the rookie running backs where they're getting picked compared to
where rookie wide receivers are getting picked. Something that I've
been kind of toting since this draft class is that
I think the running back class is going to compete
for the twenty seventeen running back class or being one
(20:48):
of the best, like football. So I just wanted to
point that out. I think it's going to be an
outstanding running back class. Tank pig Bull might as well
just take a guy who's getting all the running reps
around thirteen easy.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
All right, Coach Chase on the clock at thirteen to four.
You know, I hate, I hate. I hope the Bigsby
pick doesn't work out. I'm leaning on et in there,
but uh it's it's I like Bigsby, and I like
Bigsby for the red zone. So we shall see Coach
Chase on the clock the thirteen to four and we'll
(21:24):
see who he takes right here, and it's Brandon taking
the shot.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah, take it.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
You know, look you look at his wide receivers. You
got you know, you got Godwin, you got Iu. He's
definitely taking some shots some guys. I like that, Dan,
you take Kyle Williams.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
Yeah, So I'm about that component of Kyle Williams throughout
the draft process. I know he seems to be a
controversial players. There's some people who like him a lot,
there's some people who'd hate him completely. I see a
guy who is good with yards after the catch. I
see a guy who could play these lot receiver to
Josh McDaniels offense with a more physical body, which is
typically like he likes. I don't think Pop Douglas is
(22:05):
the type of slot receiver Josh McDaniels really wants to
have out there. And then on top of it, it's fun.
I know it's been impressive that he is already back
and healthy and practice, and that's great for him. He's
still thirty two years old coming off in ACL injury.
Who might be asked to play the perimeter. I don't
know how effective he's necessarily going to be. I think
there's an outside shot Kyle Williams could be the Alpha
(22:27):
by the end of the season for the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
So I'm gonna I'm gonna go here with got Rashawe.
White goes to the thirteen to six. You got Rashid
Shihi at thirteen to seven. I'm on the clock at
the thirteen eight, and I'm gonna take one of my
high end handcuffs this season, and I'm gonna draft Trey
Benson right more. I know you thought I was gonna
go Grinda to uh to to put that behind uh CMC,
(22:53):
but I like, I really think that Benson could make
a play this year. Uh and it's one of it's
worth a long shot in round thirteen, just to see
Austin Ecker goes to thirteen nine. Caleb Williams at the
thirteen to ten, Ray Davis at the fourteen one. I
love that pick, love that pick. Ray Davis really started
to come on. He's been one of my late grabs.
(23:15):
Chris is on the clock. We got I Love Green
Salsa over on Twitch. Hi, what's up? Thanks for tuning in?
Chris saying lock up the backfield. I'm not gonna do
that yet. I'm not gonna do that yet, although I
might can do it this round, but I think I'm
gonna go somewhere else.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
You guys.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Do you guys know when you get that feel like
when there's a player that you have no data to
back it, You just feel good about a guy or
bad about a guy. Kyle Williams, Kyle Williams, is that like,
I don't know why, I just feel good, Like there's
something about him that I feel like he's gonna be good.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
You know, It's one of those feelings I have. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Well, you know this is over there. He's really struggling
with this pick here at the fourteen to two, really debating.
He said, stop talking about it. I like the Marvin
Memes pick. I think that's a great pick there, especially
you know you look at his wide receivers. Amen, raw
jsn Addison, Judy you add Memes. Definitely big play capabilities.
(24:23):
I'm gonna go out on a limb, like I mean,
just like I've got I've got a slew of running backs.
You've already said it. Mixing is already banged up, and
I don't care. Blown knee, three blown knees. He's came
back from every blown knee.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Wheelchair.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Let's go, baby and out of the wheelchair. Out of
the wheelchair. I think that Nick Chubb could take over
this backfield, and to me, it's worth a fourteen round
running back pick for somebody that's traditionally historically been inside,
you know, or around the top fifteen every single season
(25:08):
that he's played, even even up to twelve games twenty twenty.
I mean now of recent but even last year it
wasn't that bad until the injury. So I like Houston.
I shouldn't take the shot. I think Chubb is better
than Joe Mixon.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
When he was healthy.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah, I think he's better than than mixing on half
a leg.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
You know we're drafting for the twenty twenty season, right, Yeah,
Chubb is.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
I think he can definitely earn some earn wraps and
earn a spot on the team.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Wit you look at it, it's just those two, Yeah,
and it's banged up.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Getting Dak down here in the fourteenth's do it in
a single quarterback.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I should have waited, but Chris.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Said, I was gonna go Chubb to Monty said, I
love Chubb. Green Sauce said, I have a feeling that
Josh Jacobs will finish top five and rushing yards this year.
He's a sleeper. Appreciate the feedback, make sure you subscribe
to the Twitch channel. By the way, if you're tuned in,
like subscribe, make comments on the draft board. We are
rocking and rolling. Grindo goes at the fourteen six. So
(26:17):
so far we got Dak Proscott fourteen to four, Jared
Goff at the fourteen to five, Grenda at the fourteen six,
And to you, Dan, I like that pick if CMC
gets hurt, chased on, So do you think CMC gets hurt?
Like do you like or do you think Grendo has
a spot even if CMC's healthy.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Well, I mean the fan in me doesn't want to
see CMC get hurt, of course, but Grendo is a
better version of raheem Moster when he's getting all the work,
and we already kind of saw a little blip of that.
Now the caveat that he has that and this goes
back to college. He struggles with soft tissue injuries. Now
from what I've heard from camp, who knows how true
(26:56):
it is. I don't get to see the guy in person,
but it's that he's in a lot better shape. He
did a lot to try to maintain that he is
not going to have those type of injuries this season.
He had a lot of work on that. Hopefully that
winds up being true. But the explosive is with the
combination of that offense. We know the ceiling is top twelve.
If he's going to get that kind of workload, Yeah, yeah,
(27:19):
all right.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Justin Herbert goes at the fourteen to seven. Hype, you're
on the clock with the fourteen to eight.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
Yeah, I think this is I could probably actually wait
on that.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
I'm going to man, who do I like?
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Here?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (27:39):
You know what, why not with Hollywood? The the Chiefs
are going to try to throw that ball. They're they're
coming on like a bit of a I don't like
to call it a revenge tour. They've been the AFC
Championship or super Bowl for five years. But after the
beatdown they took, I think Mahomes wants to kind of
take back his out and I feel like there's gonna
(28:02):
be a lot of throwing going on. So Brown on
the fourteenth feels pretty good.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Yeah, No, I like it. I'm still waiting for them
to see what they can do with them. Justin Fields
goes to the fourteen to nine. Even after the news
today apparently it wasn't anything serious. He ran and got
on the cart, but it makes you worry about the season.
And then Brian, you take Roshawan Johnson at the fourteenth
ten and up at the fifteen one. Four rounds left
(28:29):
to go in our mock.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
Yeah, I like Swift a lot at ADP price, but
just the off chance that we get two running backs
working in this system, I love Roshawan Johnson as a flyer.
Pick with this lady can do it people.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
In the seventh round, pick Kyle Manung guy.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Yeah, you're right, you see him in the drills there.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
Come on, Dan, you gotta let me lead up to
my next pick here Kyle. Now look, I get it.
My only tight end right now is pits and that's
scary to me. So here I'm probably gonna double up.
But look, when you're looking to stream tight end, it's
kind of like walking around a college party. Sometimes you
just go and look for some strange So that's what
I'm taking.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
What a play on words. That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Yea, that is the Big Mac.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Thank Sedric Tillman at the fifteen to two. I really
like that pick, especially if Flaco's doing the football.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Hi football, the rash the Johnson picks great.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
He unfortunately was in the shadow of Bijeon, so he
gets he got an unfair shot at getting into the
league because he's actually really great man. I I did
some work on him back in his draft lass. He's awesome,
so I love him and hopefully Ben Johnson gets to
let him shine this year.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
And for this pick, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
With who I consider to be quite possibly the best handcuff.
He's even got a little bit of standalone value, and
it's Taiwan jer The guy gets some. He gets touches
even when Bijon's on the field, and God forbid, knock
on wood, he goes down. Tyler Azier is a league winner.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
He's definitely a great He's definitely a great handcuff. But
they did start steering away from him a little bit
in the second half of the season. A big reason,
by the way, why be Jean is my number one
running back heading into this year is because he did
start to concolidate a little bit around him. But yeah,
I mean great handcuff. By the way, I'm going to
take another great handcuff here, and that's Jalen right behind
a Chan that one I was hoping for that would
(30:26):
come back to me. So look, you know eight chan
he's he's he held up last year really well, admirable.
He's still very very small. Uh And that that offense.
The only thing that was still functioning the way that
we would expect it to with Mike McDaniel is the
usage of the running back Jalen Wright with his exposiveness.
He's not quite the pass catcher Devon a. Chan Is,
(30:47):
don't get me twisted, but he can do a lot
of similar things within that offense.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
So I like that pick.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
There, Yeah, yeah, good pick.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
I like, right, first defense off the we got.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah, Jalen Wright's great first defense off the clock. Broncos
defense goes to Matt from football Guys and let's see
and he said, let's get weird and then bicell us
on the clock from player Profiler pick fifteen to seven.
(31:21):
He already got his quarterback in Dak Prescott. Let's see
if he continues.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
To add yeah, Jalen right. Also just to go on
to that something about Hm. Last year, I didn't even
know this. He had like no touches inside the five,
and he had like I think it was a total
of five, and all of them netted negative three yards
and he got one touchdown out of them. So I
do think that them getting they got Hampton and they
(31:47):
have right, I think they're trying to get some thumper
in there, and I do think, right we'll get a
little more work.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
This year and possibly have some standalone value and loving it.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
So we've got defense is more valuable than all these
running backs getting dropped after week one. Look, it's a
ten team league, and a ten team league, like, I
feel like defenses and kickers are very streamful. They're gonna
be my last two picks, I think. I mean, if
I have a top ten defense, I'm happy, right Like,
that's great. I'm gonna get decent fantasy production. If I
(32:22):
have a you know, a top ten kicker, I'm happy,
you know, and you're gonna get one of them. And
we got our first Lettow draft by seal you takes
Jake Ferguson and I am on the clock. I am
going to go here and I already mentioned it in
another show. Call me a little bit crazy, but I'm
(32:47):
gonna take a veteran right here again, and I'm gonna
take DeAndre Hopkins at the fifteen eight. I think there's
a world where he finds relevance and significant relevance. Lamar,
I feel like has not had outside of Andrews, somebody
that he can go deep with, you know, and and
(33:08):
so really excited about that.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
Pick Hopkins can that you know, well, I mean, I
guess you are building a handicap ramp. I just realized that.
So's that's okay.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Look, I'll be fine. This is pig Let me play handicap,
Chris said, Tyler, you suck sniped again. That's fine. Blake
Korum goes the fifteen nine. Donkin k goes to the
fifteen to ten. Rasha Bateman at the sixteen to one. So, I,
you know, just for the sake of kind of leveling
(33:40):
out my roster here, uh and going for you know,
another quarterback that I can layer in with a gass
catching wide receiver and a pash catching running back, kind
of like I did Brock Purdy. I'm gonna go ahead
and take Trevor Lawrence here. I think his ADP is
like way way low for a revent offense. I mean,
(34:03):
he's got he's got he's finally got a receiver that
plays cornerback, you know, first of all right, and can
go up and catch the high balls, can can catch
the corner routes. So he has that in Travis Hunter,
he has his deep threat. You know, Brenton Strange showed
he can be a good tight end, Like I really
think that he can do well in this offense. So
(34:25):
I mean to get him in essentially the last pick
before I go. You know, defense and kicker. I don't
hate it. JJ McCarthy goes at the sixteen to four
Pat Bryant at the sixteen to five to Matt from
football guys and Dan, you were on the clock dead,
said Bateman. Disrespect Hopkins will own Bateman, be real. He
(34:47):
just paid Bateman to be fair, and Hopkins will dunk
on Bateman's head. Okay, age of forty three.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
So I was about to tap this because there's a
certain guy series I usually taken best ball quite consistently.
But there's somebody else here who I guess I just
didn't realize was available, and this is kind of throwing
me a loop. We really wouldn't normally do three running
backs in a row this late, but all the Jets
keep talking about is how they're going to involve Breylon
(35:18):
Allen not just gonna be Breecee Hall and if anything,
so you're talking about again, we're talking about Detroit. You know,
Tanner Instran coming over is a It's a real likely scenario.
He views Braylon Allen as another bigger version frankly of
David Montgomery, where Breese Hall is not getting touches inside
the five yard line and is the Brandon Allen show.
(35:39):
Now you can say the just offense. How often is
that gonna happen? We'll have to see. And I know
that towards I think it was after week six, brailln
Allen was only averaging about three point two yards per
carry somewhere around there. Remember he was twenty years old. Like,
this guy is super young, getting acclimated to the NFL
and his body acclimated to the NFL. We saw him
be explosive in Wisconsin. Who has an injury history along
(36:02):
with it. I'm just taking it. I'm just taking potential
league winners here and seeing what pops.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
I like it. You know, there was a lot of
stuff about, oh, shoot, the third string running back there
or uh, Isaiah Davis, yeah, Isaiah Davis, Yeah. A lot
of stuff about him really popping in the backfield. I
think it'll be interesting. I think that they are gearing
up to let breist Hall ride, and they've got two
(36:31):
good running backs that they can pair that are very
different players.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
So we because even with the Isaiah Davis thing right,
he's still a different type of running back, so he
wouldn't take brayln Allen's happened.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Yeah, got wandlle going at the sixteen to seven, the
sixteen eight hype, you're on the clock.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Yeah, just real quick, just giving a piece of the
Bills offenseeh round.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I love the Josh pick.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, he's so sneaky this year. He's people just aren't
paying attention that he went there. He's gonna be an
option for Josh, so he'll be a great late round flyer.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Got dynasty big Mac taking Brashard Smith real sneaky, a
Jack McKinnon type player in that offense. I think that
he could do really well. And then Brian, you get
your second quarterback in your first defense. Now you take
So I love the Drake may pick, but I'm interested
you take the first well, I say, the second defense.
(37:33):
Bronco's already gone. You take the second defense, and out
of all defenses, you go Washington Commanders. Tell us why.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
Because I'm a streaming defense kind of guy, And do
you know they play Week one Russell freaking Wilson, So
give me the Commanders. I know it's not a great defense,
but yeah, it's playing the Giants, so they're implied team.
They're not going to get three touchdowns. You know, they're
team totals under twenty points or under twenty one points.
So yeah, give me the Commanders and I'm sure I'll
end up dropping them next the following week when they
(37:59):
play Green Bay.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
All right, Seahawks go at the seventeen to two greg
on the clock?
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Yeah, so real quick.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
In my like my main home league that I've been
in for years with all my buddies, we boosted the
defenses to make them a little more important. We added
like an extra point for sacks, an extra point for picks.
You don't get punished as hard for like the first
like few scores, and it makes it so they're going
like round nine or ten usually. And it's actually the
(38:29):
most fun thing I've ever done. It's really cool. It
adds a different layer to the league. But anyway, the
pick that I'm gonna go with here is going to
be the same thing with the streaming defense. San Francisco.
You don't really have to though. They have the easiest schedule,
so why not just take them all?
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Right?
Speaker 1 (38:48):
San Francisco at the seventeen to three you bum Yeah,
everyone talks about their easy schedule, get their defense.
Speaker 5 (38:57):
Yeah, starting off against Seattle in the New Orleans Yeah,
that opening schedule.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Yeah. Same. So I like that.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Matthiah said, I like that guy's league. He loves your league.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Yeah, it's so much fun. And like kickers are like
a big deal. We haven't changed their points, but it's
this running thing in the league. It's it's a lot
of fun. We have a good time.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Pittsburgh Steelers go at the seventeen four, so we're seeing
a defensive run, so people are valuing defense. Ever, kicker,
I'm curious if it's gonna shift at any point here, Dan,
you're on the clock at the seventeen to five, and
you take kicker speaking of Brandon Aubrey, first kicker off
the board there to Dan, like that pick Matt from
(39:38):
football guys on the clock Aubrey number one. I mean,
I think it's in. But what's your thought? You think
that offense just continues to move.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Well yeah, and also when you don't have maybe the
strongest running game in the world, you're gonna settle for
field goals. And Audrey can kick a lot of fifty yarders,
which is where you get the extra points from right.
So with kickers, you can stream both defenses and kickers.
But if you get an elite kicker, a lot easier
to hold on to them than I think even an
(40:07):
elite defense. Because sometimes we have an elite defense matchup
because of tough offense, you still don't necessarily want to
play the kickers. If you have an elite one, you
can kind of just ride them and let them play there.
You don't really have to think about the position. Again,
Aubrey can kick it from his own thirty put them
on New Orleans. He's getting points like, yeah, these dud animal.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Bill's go at the seventeen to seven. I like the
Bills pick a lot. You know, obviously they got a
ton more pass rushers going in this season right here
at the seventeen to eight. Uh, depending on who's available.
It's usually an internal debate for me on who I
like somewhere between Houston, Detroit and Philly, and Philly's young
(40:49):
defense not losing, I feel like I've got to go there,
and then the next tier for me would be that
Houston Detroit arena. But I'm gonna take Philly here.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
I like Houston because of the weaker division. The Eagles
got to play Washington in Dallas four times total, So
I get what you're saying. I don't hate the Eagles
pick at all. It just if I'm winging the two,
I think I go Houston, especially because Houston's defense like
showed that they're pretty good last year.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
So Eagles also open it up against Dallas and then
they get to Kansas City, the Rams, Tampa Bay, and Denver.
So yeah, you know, it's it's a tough battle. They
can do it. They definitely have the best defense in
the league, but are they going to be giving you
that high ceiling there? Week two through five.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
Their secondary dropped a tier. At least they they lost
everyone left and a couple of their front seven, and
they replace the plenty good players. I just think there
is there is a little bit of a step back
for that defense this year.
Speaker 5 (41:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
So we got Jake Bates at the seventeen to nine.
I like that pick, Chris Boswell at the seventeen ten.
Rams defense goes at the eighteen to one o'clock at
the eighteen to two, looks like he needs to a defense,
wondering who's gonna go with, and probably he goes Packers
defense there at the eighteen to two, probably letting a
(42:08):
little bit of his fandom shine, you know for me here,
and maybe it's a maybe it's a hot mess, but
I don't know if I can do that. You know,
kicker's probably going to be something that I'm going to
move around and definitely gonna stream. But in the beginning,
(42:32):
I like to get a kicker on an offense that
moves the ball because I want consistent opportunity to get
in kicking range. And you know, so he's been very
good automatic for a long time. I just can take
Bucker there. I know that I'll get decent points. Jake
(42:53):
Moody at the eighteen four and Matt from Football Guys
is on what Chris said, go Pat go. They were
number four defense. Sneaky yeah, yeah, Tyler.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
The Rams are like they could have a number in
fantasy at least a number one defense. They are so
quietly good that people are and I don't think enough
people are really paying attention to that that Rams defense
has become something again.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
Jake Moody comes off the board. He's not gonna win
the kicker battle. That's interesting.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
U Wow, Arizona, that's interest thing Pike tell us about that?
Dan why Arizona week one?
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Oh yeah, good call.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
I'm like thinking like season long, like guys like you
like you want the you know that you want like
a top ten defense from last year and then you
know Arizona that.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
Was well, they made a lot of investments into their defense,
like I love Uh. They drafted Will Johnson. Now that
was a steal in the second round. I know Walter
Nolan's not quite practicing yet, but they did make them in.
But the biggest thing is that they play the Saints
week one and I'll be streaming.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Yeah, And that's that's what like when you're making this
pick and you're going in, you're either trying to get
a defense like like the Eagles, right like last year
despite everybody they played finish as a as a top
five defense. You either get somebody like that that you
know is gonna that you're gonna try to ride the
season and just plug and play and leave, or you
stream and if you're streaming, you may take a defense
(44:24):
like Arizona that plays a week offense week one, and
I really like that knowing what you're doing, because I
feel like you went the other way. Your kicker for
you is like you're sit and forget it, and you're
you're committed to streaming the Uh looks like you're committed
to streaming the tight end and the defense.
Speaker 4 (44:44):
Oh I'm not gonna have to stream no Djoku. That's
that's the solid nine points my bucket every week. I
don't care.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
A hype on the clock.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Yeah, yeah, I did not mean the kicker, but that's okay.
I'll take it of the offense moves enough. I meant
to go Chase mcgloff there, don't know, I just click.
But yeah, the offense that moves enough, I'll take kicker,
no problem.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
I like Fairburn at the eighteen to two and Brian
mister irrelevant. Who is the kicker that is going to
make everything happen for your team?
Speaker 5 (45:17):
I mean, Ryland's kind of the guy I'm looking at
for Arizona. Yeah, you play Saints week one, but also
if you look at Vegas as totals, Arizona has the
highest implied total on the entire season, so points means
kickers do something. But I'll figure out that on Sunday morning,
because right now I really don't care about having my kickers.
So I'm gonna take Romeo Dobbs. I said, I don't
want to the piece for the Packers, and this being GPR,
(45:38):
this is the guy that's out there when there's two
wide receivers or three wide receivers. So I'll figure out
who I drop on Sunday morning. Pick me up a kicker.
But at this point, when I draft this early, I
don't really like taking my kicker into.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
You breaking the rules. Brian is a mind.
Speaker 5 (45:50):
We're not in ESPN. They don't force you to take that. Yeah,
I learned how to rule on ESPN on Wednesday on
that draft.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Hey look, Chris, Chris loves I got some doves. Make
sure you get the like and subscribe. But we're gonna
quickly kind of go through these rosters. Uh, and let
me flip over to the or we can actually see
the roster, so we'll start with Brian. So Brian, you know,
obviously without the kicker, but it looks like a starting lineup.
(46:18):
Kyler Murray, b Jon Chase Brown, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf,
Kyle Pitts, James Connor, Jayalen Wattle, and then you know
with with the ability to put in Travis Hunter, Stefon Diggs,
Ricky Pursol. So there there you a roster one Matthias
(46:39):
and said, no, kicker, I'm fine with. I also like
taking players to put in the I R slot right away. Uh.
Dan talked about that with Ayuk. Chris had had a
great time all right. Then moving over to the next
up Hype up roster, Hype Baker, Gibbs, Bucky Irving, Davante Adams,
(47:02):
d J Moore, McBride, Pickens, Elive Dicker, San Francisco, and
you can kind of look at that bench. There definitely
some potential players there. I like that, man. The running
backs make me happy. Yeah, moving over to Dan on
(47:23):
the show. Here I got Jalen Hurtz, Gent Walker, Nico
Ladd and Joku Swift Flowers with the ability to pop
in a Javante Reed, Jwan Jennings. You know, Kyle Williams
potentially there right off the cuff like that roster and then.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
Is really good. He has a good floor.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Moving over to my roster, you got Purty, McCaffrey, Kamara,
Brian Thomas, McLaurin, Kittle, Trevon Henderson, Pollard, Butker with the
ability to kind of switch out that flex to uh Kelsey,
et N Higgins, Golden or even Chubb Hopkins who could
(48:09):
start towards the beginning of the season. Uh, you guys,
let us know in the comments which roster you like
the most? Guys, what do you think is there even
if it's like one of the other drafters from the
from the you know, the draft, is there any teams
that really like stand out to you?
Speaker 3 (48:29):
The highlighted guy there, Johnny Maine, him getting like starting
with Henry getting Courtland Sutton in the fifth, Ridley in
the seventh is I didn't pay attention to win Ridley went.
I really like him this year and that's that feels
like an awesome pick.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
And Ingram in the eighth. I mean this guy got
a lot of good value. I like his team. It
looks it looks really good. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
So just real quick, I mean, just everybody hit one
a roster, you know, obviously not your own. You can
pick somebody on the shows, but just not your own roster,
one that you really like. The build of going into
the season. So, Hi, you really like Johnny Mayn's roster,
What about you, Brian?
Speaker 5 (49:06):
I really like the Bay and cell here team seven.
I'm not a huge fan of the Hawkinson pick, but
outside of that, you know, took the wide receiver value
that was there and was patient and I think kind
of kicked, you know, tore it up with her with
the running back. Loved the upside with Harvey. Caleb Johnson.
I'm really into this year as well, Pitchecko. It's just
stupid value for a guy that, like, yeah, and Getty's
on the last year of his contract. We've got a
(49:27):
seventh rounder that everybody's just so hyped about, but the
guy should get plenty of work. Stevenson. You know, things
start falling off, but like all in all, we've seen McDaniel,
it's usually two running backs there, so I'm sure he's
gonna get it some work. And then you got the
upside with with Trey Harris as well.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
Yeah, he would very much did the let the draft
come to you strategy there.
Speaker 5 (49:50):
There's two quarterbacks there at the end, Dak and JJ,
so much upside they could both be top you know,
five to ten quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
A yeah, Doak's like top five as long as and
he's stacked Dack with Lamb so like that, Yeah, me too,
What about you, Dan?
Speaker 5 (50:08):
I think was looking at team one.
Speaker 4 (50:14):
Team one is not bad, So it's funny. I really
liked how Dynasty started his draft, Like I like the
Jamar Chase pick at number two and then Drake London
John in the third round. Think it is an absolute steal.
If Taylor stays healthy, he does have potential to be
a top five running back. And even Rashi, let's say
he gets six games suspension. I think Travis Kelcey, if
(50:34):
he's not toast, he's borderline toast. That offense until I
see it, I'm not going to project them to bounce
back to what they were three years ago. I think
that offense now centers around whoever that middle of the
field target is. That's Rashie right. So like when you
go into the second half of the season, that's a
really good core with Tuba Hubbard and Jameis and Williams.
I don't think we've seen the best out of It
gets a little wonky when we're getting the junkins. Mahomes
(50:57):
going late is fine, He's going He's going for a
stack there. Later on, Dunzay has some upside. We haven't
seen the best of him yet, and he takes some
shots later on. So I do like Dynasty's team quite
a bit.
Speaker 3 (51:07):
Yeah, the late the eleventh round craft is a good
graft for that team, and yeah he can wait on
Rice with Jamo being there. So yeah, that's that's a
good team.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Awesome. Uh you know, I I think everybody had a
good balanced roster in this thing. I personally freaking love
my roster. I think I think that this roster is
going to bring a ship. But you know that's just
me really good.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
Or is gonna get really old really fast, It's gonna
be in the hospital, or it is going to be
the championship.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
Is rage drafts and grandchildren.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
I feel like in redraft you can't be afraid of age.
But I also balance. It's like you said, it was
like thirty thirty or twenty twenty twenty three, you know, like,
but I I mean, I really I'm I'm excited. If
I drafted this team in my actual redraft league, I'd
be pretty pumped. I really do like by sell you.
(52:03):
As far as the wide receivers go, I like Johnny
Main's team. I think he really got some good value,
like you got Derrick, Henry Breese, hall Omarion. I think
is more. I think it's gonna take a little bit longer,
but he doesn't really need him to do immediate killer production.
But then you got my leak, and then he did
really good job grabbing like uh value players like Courtland Sutton, Calvin,
(52:25):
Ridley Pittman, Like I really like those picks, you know,
and even in the show, like I love Brian, I
love yours, Bjeon, Chase Brown, James Connor. Uh you know,
you get a J Brown. I don't like DK Metcalf,
but I just that's that's nothing, that just is me.
It's a personal thing. But walteral.
Speaker 4 (52:47):
This, you know.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
I think I think Hunter had could potentially have a
lot of touchdowns this season. I really like that. I
like Kyle Pitt's high upside hype Gibbs Irving. I think
it's a great running back combo you grab definitely, I
think what a top five tight end of McBride. And
then Adams don't love DJ Moore, love Pickens. I think
Pickens has a huge season this year, and I mean
(53:12):
he's already been tearing it up in camp and he's
I just think like it's like that David Montgomery Gibbs,
Like you get the Lamb and Pickens, it's like such
a good duo. Like there's true two good alphas on
each side throwing somebody else in the slot that can
kind of move around. I really like that offense for Dak.
Probably the best wide receiver group he's had.
Speaker 3 (53:35):
Yeah, with Tyler, your team, if, like some of the
ifs are answered in the right way, is actually insanely good.
Like if McCaffrey stays healthy, you got Henderson on the flex,
like that's if.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
Yeah, Kittle, I mean, Kittle's gonna you have actually a
pretty stacked team, to be honest.
Speaker 1 (53:53):
But if I'm good with if and then Dan the
same thing, did, I am, Like you've got to be
able to risk, like you know what I'm saying, Like
you can, you can take the floor plays, but you
don't win with the floor plays.
Speaker 2 (54:06):
Don't make money, right, like you know, and.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
These players, like you know you got like you know
some of these players that you're getting so late at value,
Like give me a d hopper at Chubb, Like you're
taking dart throws there anyway, So why not dart throws
that have shown they have the talent, whether it coming JK.
Dobbins last year, Like last year, I lost Christian Mcca.
I took him in the majority of leaves. I lost
Christian McCaffrey in the beginning of the season. You know
(54:30):
who carried me through the beginning of season while my
rookie receivers got going, freaking JK. Dobbins. You know where
I drafted JK. Dobbins, like the last pick of the
freaking you know draft, Like he was free, you know,
And so like these players, whether it be a bum
knee or whatever. And with Chubb, he's already come off
above knee before he did it in Georgia. You know,
he came on, he got hurt again in the NFL,
(54:50):
he came back again.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
You know, like some people, these are just about gone.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
And mixing so much better, like mixing so much healthier
and so much of a difference maker, right, So like
it's just in like the same thing with d Hop,
like Lamar has not had a receiver like d Hop
and Lamar is the type like I could see them,
like like d Hop making one big catching camp and
(55:20):
next thing you know their buddies like and Lamar just
like tosses it up to him every time they're in
the red zones, like Mike Evan stuff just like go
get it, or like you know Rogers used to do
with Adams, like yep, just go get it, you know,
and given them the opportunity.
Speaker 3 (55:33):
Speaking of buddies in camp, Rogers and Metcalf apparently are
living together, so that could turn.
Speaker 1 (55:41):
I gotta get the Dan's team. Dan Gent is high risk,
high reward. I think he's gonna get a ton of touches.
I love it. Lad McConkey is one of my favorite
receivers in this group, and people just keep saying like, oh,
he's gonna fall off, and I'm like, and if ad
McConkie does one hundred less yards and like two less, I.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
Don't know why he would fall off.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (56:09):
I think he'll just he'll.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
He's But even the thing, if he stays the same,
if he has the exact same production, which was like
wide receiver eleven, I'm happy. You know, I think you're
drafting him at wide receiver nine, but I think he
gets there. Uh, you know, love that. Kenneth Walker is
a high upside. It's kind of like that JT dynamic,
(56:31):
Like if it's if, that's that's your IF player. Like
if I love Zay Flowers. You look at Jay Flowers
last year, one hundred and sixteen targets cards. Yeah, he's
a different receiver than d Hop. De Hop's a red
zone guy. Zay Flowers is over the middle guy. And
(56:53):
I think Jay Flowers is the reason that Mark Andrews
didn't get as much work as he needed as he
usually does last year. I like him a lot. I
think the Jayden Reid was a good, good run, and
I like Javonte too. But my favorite pick, my favorite pick,
and it's just because Mike McDaniels cannot keep running backs
(57:13):
healthy and a chain will get broken. The Jalen Wright
pick in the round fifteen. I think maybe I think
he could end up being a stud for you halfway
through the season and on.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:27):
So I mean, great Monck draft. I love that the
fact that we actually had real people drafting, so there
were snipes you couldn't really follow ADP. People reached rounds
ahead of time to get their guys. It was a
great draft. Thank you for being on Brian Hi. Let
me actually throw you all on the main screen here.
(57:49):
If you would just kind of let people know where
