Speaker 1 (00:07):
What's up? Everybody? Welcome, It's Friday Night from the Form
and tonight we're talking about trades, takes, and truth bombs.
It's that part of the off season where everybody's pulling
their hair out, following the narratives and trying to build
their dynasty team. So that's where we're here. Drop your
questions in the chat. We're here for you tonight and
(00:28):
let's party. What's up? Everybody got a crew in the
(00:49):
house tonight. I got my god, Joe, my god, Chris
and Steve been up since two am and still here
to party with us tonight. Appreciate you, man. What what's
going on?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I'm seeing I'm seeing stuff on Twitter about uh Deebo
Samuel being fat and slow. I'm seeing I'm seeing uh,
you know, Anthony Richardson out there working the hips since
he can't use his shoulder, you know. And Nick Chubb
is going to the Texans and Chris, I see you're
wearing it. I see your sport in the Texans hat.
(01:24):
How do you feel about that? Are you psyched?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Uh for the season? Psyched for fantasy football purposes? Probably
not psyched just because I don't think he's gonna make
kind of an impact. But for the season, I am psyched.
I'm super psyched for him. I think when you had
a running back like that in that depth, it just
it just really propels the Texans and and they're they're
(01:48):
when they're they're trying to go all in right now.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
So brick House, my wife's favorite player is Nick Chubb.
She's a big Browns fan. So, uh, it's we've been
at half all day for the Goat. But you know,
it's a good landing spot form. I feel like it
was either there Chicago, like there was kind of like
not a lot of options left.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, you know, I like Nick Chubb's one of my favorite,
like favorite players. Just a good dude. He's a hoss.
He's played, He's got some bad reps, some knee issues,
but he's came back. He's still been relevant. And you know,
I'm watching the practice reps and they don't look bad.
You know, they got two old fogeys in Chubb and
mixing doesn't mean they can't be relevant because both of them,
(02:32):
like Nick Chubb, will man handle a linebacker trying to
come after CJ. Stroud.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
So it's like I'm pumped about it. He's still a
cheap buy. But you know, Steve, for you Nick Chubb
right now, what is the price? Like, you got a
little bit of narrative, you got a little bit of
a grass. So maybe if you're not in a win now,
maybe you don't hang on to him. What what do
you think that you can pull from Nick Chubb on
(03:00):
the market right now? Uh?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I mean you don't have to really give up anything
for him. You probably have to go through your waiver
wires at this point. In some cases, I think depending
on how deep your league is and kind of where
you know everyone's mindset is with Chubb. You know, with
the injuries that he's had, a lot of people have
probably just pushed him along and they're ready to put
him in a wheelchair and send him off the sunset.
But you know, like you mentioned, you got Joe Mixon.
(03:25):
There another guy who's walking around in a cane, you know,
getting ready to hit head towards his retirement. Both those
guys I think are a good mix. You can keep
both of them healthy throughout the season. I think Chubb
can end up being like the goal line back, you know,
utilizing those spaces. So for me, if you're if you're
in a league that's got you know, four rounds, maybe
(03:47):
you know, give it a fourth and just hey, let
me just put a little field out there. Maybe you
get rid of, you know, some some maybe some of
your old vets yourself, maybe an old wide receiver that
you're trying to move on. You just need a little
bit of depth at the running back position, you know.
I think a players like Christian Kirk on the Houston Texans,
you know, you can move on to a receiver like that.
He's got some value right now because of all of
(04:08):
the injuries that are going on in Houston, you know,
with Dell. I mean, there's all kinds of ways. I
wouldn't give up a lot. I don't expect a lot,
just like anything else. Everyone's in shorts. Everyone looks great
right now except for Deebo apparently, but I'm okay with that.
So but yeah, I wouldn't give up more than anything
but maybe a fourth. If you're talking draft capital at
(04:29):
this point.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Well, we'll see how it pans out. We got we
got ham Sandwich in the chat dev, we got young
pro in the chat Yo, appreciate you coming. We got
Woody the King there and grim Berg what's up fellas?
Thanks everybody tuning in. Drop your questions and remember tonight
(04:52):
is your show. Tonight is about answering your questions, your
dynasty questions. If you have any you know, if you
have any trades that you're thinking about doing, you're thinking
about moving, make sure you drop those in. We are
happy to help mc bro dad. What's up, gents, what's up?
Mcbro dad? What a cool name? Top Top of the
morning to you. All right? So Nick Chubb, the other
(05:18):
the other old Fogey and he's not really that old,
but has found a place and caused utter chaos in
the world for RJ. Harvey lovers. Is JK. Dobbins to
the joy Joe? How does it make you feel? Are
you psyched? Are you taking some Dobbins? Do you think it?
(05:39):
Or are you? Are you just glad that you can
get RJ. Harvey maybe a little bit cheaper.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
So I am in the camp that RJ. Harvey is
being way over hyped right now. I think he had
some good underlying metrics. I had him as like a
fourth round pick coming into the draft. I'm obviously a
couch GM and not a real one to take that
or what you will, But I think a lot of
people are putting weight into the Sean Payton narrative of
(06:06):
being an offensive genius, which I mean he does, but
having a Hall of Fame quarterback for most of the
time he was in New Orleans also helps in having
players like Kamara Michael Thomas, which he conveniently compares all
of his current players to all the best guys he
had in the Saint It's like, are they actually that
or those just people that you liked? I'm not really sure,
So I think you do get Harvey at a little
(06:26):
bit more of a discount. Dobbins is going to see
the field, though ultimately, who does this impact audric estime?
It doesn't look good for him. He was somebody that
I was moderately excited about when he came out and
got drafted to Denver, just because of the murkiness of
that situation. But it feels like he doesn't really have
a role there. So does it change a lot for Harvey?
I don't think so. But Dobinson ball, I mean, this
(06:49):
has been the line of you for weeks now. Dobbin's
never been less than five yards per carry going into
like these seasons. He's coming off of a strong season
last year when he was on the field. So I
think it's a great fit that Denver offense. I mean,
they still are trying to figure out what's going on
who's going to be their wide receiver too, but from
the running game having that offensive line, like I mean,
if you're gonna downgrade from like the Charger setup that
(07:11):
he had, I mean, Denver is pretty solid kind of
like fall back to go into. You know.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
The thing that I like the most about it is
we've seen Dobbins really struggles to make it through a
whole season, right, Like that's the struggle, and so I
think it just gives Harvey a little bit of time
before having to be rushed into some kind of full,
crazy workload. And I know for fantasy where like, oh
this sucks, like we really want that, you know. But
(07:38):
at the same time, you're gonna get Harvey towards the
end of the season, right because Dobbins is going to
get tired, He's gonna get a little bit banged up.
It's just kind of his nature, right, And so I
like the move. I think I think that it makes
my you know, if I feel like I'm confident for
the playoffs, I think Harvey is a grab. I like that.
It definitely completely shifted his value, but it did make
(08:03):
it more feasible. Like it went to it went from
it went from like really high to like, Okay, I
can stomach this now, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Here's the other thing I'll say about Harvey two is
that a strength that he does not possess right now,
which isn't uncommon for a rookie running back. His pass
protection right, Dobbins is a pretty solid pass protector. You
don't really think of him as like a pass catching back,
but if they're gonna be running like play action doing
these things, like, you want somebody that you feel comfortable with. Sleeze,
what's up, dude? So I think having that better in
(08:36):
presence that can kind of take on that role and
not force Harvey to be kind of like this all
encompassing back your one. I think that's huge, especially when
bow next is gonna entering his sophomore season, so that's
it's a really big one for him.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
There Sleez in the chat what's up? Boys? Hey? If
you if you want to follow some good content, go
check out Sleeze over on his channel. He's a good dude,
I like supporting good people. You know what I mean?
Like it's not all about you know my.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Showing like that.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I like supporting good, good people. I appreciate it. Came
on the show last week and actually refrained from dropping
a cuss word, which I'm really surprised. But you know,
if you like it a little bit on edge, go
talk to my guy. Dev says, I'm stacked at wide
receiver in my Dynasty league. Have Chase, c d Rice, Jmo,
(09:26):
Jayson and Rome sounds great, desperately need an upgrade at
running back. I can imagine if that's your wide receiver, corps,
who of those guys should I be moving? And any
running back I would you would ask for? So I
have my take. I'm gonna save it to the end. Chris,
start us off out of those wide receivers, who are
(09:46):
you looking to move or who are you willing to move?
And then second that with who you might target with
that player?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
If I had to pick one, it would probably be Rice.
If I had to pick one of those guys there
and who I'd be targeting, I would say for running back,
I really like Chase Brown. That that's a running back
that I like a lot this uh this season. He's young,
He's got tons of upside, all the opportunities in the world.
(10:18):
I would say, if you could trade Rice for Brown,
pull it. That's the only one. Yeah, that's the only one.
I kind of see there.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Man, is that is is is Rice enough for Chase Brown?
The Chase Brown hype is.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yeah, you have to add something in there.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
You probably I think it would be enough, especially with
the reports that like he's not going to get suspended
this year. I think redraft like that's the big concern.
But dynesty, I mean Rice popped off like yes, like
you have worthy that like showed up at the end
of the season, but that was after Rice already came on.
It'd he's sliding into that Kelsey role. We know that
Patrick loves that a lot. Look, I think I would
(10:58):
trade it. Just know, like if you look Chase Brown
and going into the off seasons, like, oh, he's not
even gonna be the starter next season.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Look you're that You're the guy that I want to
trade with, Okay, because I am also on the move.
The Rashi Rice on that like out of those like
everybody has a high probability of significant volume and potential
there and like Rice, whether the suspension comes now, where
the suspension comes next year, whether it never comes, there's
(11:29):
somehow he is still hyped like to like a fourth
I've even seen a third round like wide receiver, you know,
like in in drafts, and I'm like, what the heck?
You know, like you look at the people that you
can get even you know, and I know like CMCs
on the rise there, But like you could you could
(11:49):
pull a strong running back, especially if I'm trading with you, Joe,
if I'm trading like.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
I would Chase Brown, but somebody that came to mind
for me. I wonder if you could pull like a
Travion Henderson. He has the capital, he's in this like
split time share thing with Ramandre this year. If you
could play up the whole like hey, Rice, is it
getting suspended and you can flip him for Travion there,
(12:14):
Like I'm a big Travion guy, Like he was like
a top four RB for me in this process, Like
I'm not worried about him, like in a mixed backfield situation,
like I think he overtakes that back up.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
I audition for Travion, I audition for Judkins, both of
them are going after him and Rook and startup or
redraft leagues, like I would take over him, Like it's
to me, that's the easiest to move off of Steve
to digress here. Is there anybody else in there that
(12:46):
you're looking to move outside of Rice?
Speaker 2 (12:48):
I would have moved Jason. I think he's got the
strongest value there that I think could lessen a little bit.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
You know, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Sure how Sam Donald's going to be, and I'd move
Jason because of his his name and his value right now.
For a player like a Chan or Breese Hall or
something like, get a good running back, like I don't
want Chase Brown, give me a good.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
You could probably pull bris Hall for she Rice. It's
like it's oh God, like I would say we could.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Surprisingly, the hype is probably more for Rashi Rice than JSN,
which is absolutely crazy.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I don't know about that. I think the wide receiver
one season last year with all of the vacated targets
in Seattle, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
People Donald the pie bro like every nobody's going, oh,
Sam Darnold's gonna feed by receiver.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
No one would say that about Geno Smith either.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
But Gino did it.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I want a Gino in Pittsburgh. Let me tell you
I would trade the third round for him. That man
can put on some dots look dead.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Go get you a breeze, Go get you a Chase Brown.
Go get one of those rookies that's juicy. If I
can get, if I can get quishn Jenkins or Trevaon,
give me one of those Ohio State running backs for
a she Rice. I will do it right now. I
will do it like Dynasty League when now rebuild. I
don't care it's done, send it accepted, just get.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
And then it fixes your wide receiver you know in mind?
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Actually who knows? Like you might get the same production.
Dev said, Oh, Albert, what's up? Fellas? Dev said, he's
taking notes. Uh Sleez laughing about the joke earlier and said,
and then Mike said, Cowboys RB one And why is
it Miles Sanders.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
That's crazy, Steve. You gotta take you gotta take ownership
of this man.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
I don't hate I actually don't hate the Miles Sanders
play at all. I know you know he got I
don't know what happened in Carolina, but I actually.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Think that's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Williams and everyone's all hyped up about Blue. I don't
see it. I don't see it at all. You know, realistically,
I think Javonte becomes the guy for them this season.
I think Miles Sanders gets gets let go before Seeds starts. Anyways, Wow,
that's hot.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
So from RB one to cut list. So if you can,
if somebody is buying into the narrative that Miles Sanders
will be the starter there, Sell Sell Grindberg, I'll take
a third. E just give me a third for Miles Sanders.
It's a little more than I think it merits, but
I think it's enough that you might do it. Uh,
(15:40):
I like it. I like you know, Javante. We really
haven't gotten a clear season of Javonte, and he does
have moments where he does he pops a little bit.
I'm with you on Blue. I think Blue is overhyped.
I don't know if you've seen pictures of Blue, but
he it feels like he already has Eddie Lacy syndrome, like.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
A speedy like scat back.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah, and he's definitely put on some some weight. There's
good man.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
I can't blame him. It was amazing down there when
I lived in Texas. He hit that Texas State Fair.
It'll change your life.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Oh my gosh, Texas State Fair. My guys eating uh
giant pretzels and funnel cakes with you know, powder all
over it. We got Paul Vowe in the Chat Dynasty
roster cut Oh, I hate cuts, cuts, break my Hearty Cocher, Keaton, Mitchell,
(16:35):
will Shipley, who's on your cut list? Go ahead, Chris Uh.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
I'm sorry, I'm I'm out on Jalen Coker. That is
one guy. I just don't see where he's gonna have
any room to even perform on that that wide receiver room.
I don't like Marvin Memes and I'll get to that later.
With bow Nicks, that's a hot take. I would say
keep will Ship and I know that's crazy even though
Barkley's there, but I like the guy. That guy is
(17:04):
such a baller. He just is gonna need opportunity and Joe.
We will get into b Nicks. I will get into No, I.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Don't care about bone Knicks. Why are we keeping a
white running back over Marvin Mims?
Speaker 1 (17:15):
He said, for the love of God, don't cut.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. If you can't beat out Courtland
Sutton as the wide receiver one. I'm sorry, I'm just
not hold.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
On a second, don't don't, don't you come on this show,
and and and Courtland Sutton. Courtland Sutton is the gift
to all fantasy players because he is the cheapest wide
receiver one you could ever ask for and has consistently
been cheap because every year they go, oh, he's going
to fall off, and somehow he's still find as well
(17:51):
as long as I'm gonna, I'm gonna, not that I
want to be confrontational here, but I'm I'm gonna. I'm gonna.
You know, I think Mems has a shot, dude, Like
I I know. Look, here's the thing, Uh, whether you
(18:11):
believe in bow Nicks or not, bo Knicks is not
afraid to chunk the football and Mems only needs one
catch to be fantasy relevant in any given game.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Sure, he's a great best ball play. I think it's
gonna be hard to put him in a lineup and
feel confident about it. Like he's gonna need to take
like the Rashid Shaheed step that he had at the
beginning of last year before the injury, because it's like realistically,
like in championship week, last week or last year, where
you're gonna put in Marvin Mims Probably not.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
No, it's and and the other part here is is
it's it's pathway torrelevance, right, Like I agree Coker. Coker's
wide receiver three at best four on that raw on
that roster. You know, he's it's a it's hard for
Keaton Mitchell is not. He's he's not. He's like RB
three like he's We're You've got injuries before he's even
(19:05):
close to relevance. And then Will Shipley is probably the
closest as RB two behind Barkley, but Barkley is gonna
get touches. You're really hate hanging on for injury. Marvin
Mims could be wide receiver two at least for that squad,
but he's gonna be in the front three. I mean,
you think he's gonna fall as far as wide receiver four.
(19:27):
I mean it's interesting.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
You got Bryant, you got Troy Franklin, who's already got
the order.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Nicks.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
I don't see it happening.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, I think that he's just got the the he
he'll see enough snaps to to pop.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
If you if he's if you're in a league that
gives you know, points for special teams. Maybe he has
a little more value. I'll give you Mims, you give me,
you know, turping, and I'll take it out all day.
That's essentially the player that's that's that's.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
What he means, want me overturping.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
I'm just I'm just I don't know. I guess Memes.
I'm just kind of more shocked that you guys are
really hyped on I guess maybe I'm not.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
It's not that I'm hyped on Mems. It's that men
like it's I'm and he's he's young, Like he's still
got a ton of career around, you know, for him,
like all these other guys, Like we know the life
expectancy of running back. You know, Will Shipley has already
had years. We know that he's it's not like he's
(20:35):
going to get to play till he's thirty. Mems could
play till he's thirty, you know, like you just have
a lot of opportunity, a lot of time and and
big catch roll. You know. So like I'm not I'm
not with def here. I'm not saying Mems is wide
receiver won this year, But like in a Dynasty play,
I'm in and you got d walk in the chat
(20:57):
like he's also he's free even in deep leagues, and
Men's is free and he is. But like, out of those,
if I've got to cut one, if I got to
cut three, I just think I just like my chances
with Mens. My second would be Will Shipley. I'll give
you that.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
I think that Will Shipley gets overtaken by Quadzilla. He
don't got big enough legs to be running back on
that Team's good man.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
If you watch him just in the little snippets and
the opportunity he said, he's he's pretty dynamite. Now it's
gonna be hard obviously because of Barkley. I'm with that.
I get that part. But I don't know, man, that
that kid's pretty decent. I'm not saying that. Listen, that
guy's not going to be like a running back five.
But that's not what I'm saying. But yeah, that I mean, no,
(21:45):
I gotta go ship I know that's crazy, but and
it's okay.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
We're only off on one spot, one player. So there's
your your Your real debate here is Mens and Shipley,
and it's just maybe you just go to your position
of need. If you if you're if you're wee get
running back, keep shipley. If you're stacked at running back,
go mens. There you go. Everybody's happy. Nobody got elbowed
in the face. We're all right, all right. So remember,
(22:13):
if you're tuned in, hit the like button, hit the
subscribe button, and drop your questions in the chat tonight.
We are here to answer your questions, to help you
win your leagues, help you get set up in the
off season. While everybody else is signing off and taking
a break, you're making moves and the it's the best
time to make moves because you follow the narratives. Chubb
gets signed, you got an opportunity. JK gets signed, You
(22:34):
got an opportunity. Debo looks fat, you got an opportunity.
I saw two different narratives on Deebo today. I saw
he's slow and chunky, and everybody's like, what the heck's
going on? And then I saw another one come out
from a uh I forget who. It was a big anison.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
There was like.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Debo's abilities in this offense is gonna He's gonna have
so much opportunity, you know, and and it was like
booming them, you know, and so but when those narratives happen,
like that's the point is, like the narratives carry your
ability to move at buy by you know, low or
sell high points. You know, like Mems right now is
(23:13):
apparently free. If he has, you know, catches two forty
or sixty yard bombs in the first two games for touchdowns,
well then all of a sudden, he's not gonna be
free anymore. So get him why he's free? If if
Saquan's knee blows out, well, which will Shipley's not fleeing
free anymore. So Okay, so while we're while we're waiting
(23:35):
on some more questions, let's get into the a little
bit of the buy sell market. Okay, we're talking about that.
You know, we talked about debo. You know, there's some
players that you know, right now, I think that you
have the opportunity to grab, and there's some that I
think you have the opportunity to sell. Before we get
into that, we're gonna hit dynasty. Dynasty Fantasy Football helpers question,
(23:58):
rank these one two turn receivers Aman Rah bt J Nico,
Drake London A. J. Brown.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
You need to write this down.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, that's what I'm actually, I'll just take a picture
of it.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
That's easier.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Who wants to start on Let's say, he says, assuming
you get to draft two of them. So you're at
the turn you get your draft too.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
Let me see. So we had Amanra, Brian Jor Nico,
Drake London, A J.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Brown.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
I know my number one is Nico. I'm still thinking
about number two.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I know I'm taking I still gotta go am Andra.
My son god is is who he is. After that,
I'm actually, maybe you call me crazy. Drake London's behind him,
Brian Thomas, Nico and A J. That's how I'm ranking him.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Mm hmm. I'm going on Ron Nico, Brian Thomas, London Brown.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I don't believe in Nico. I love Nico, but I
don't believe in him. You know what it is, And
I'm sorry. I'm not trying to do this to you
because I am a huge I'm a huge Stroud fan
and I hyped man. I hyped him up so big
and I drafted him and I traded him a lot
last year. I worry for Stroud, I really do. And
(25:38):
there's something about it.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
I just feel like it's maybe it's the Texans curse.
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Maybe it's that they traded their and they already had
a battle.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
That doesn't help.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
You can get a whole Textans.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
But I don't know what happened. But last year something
just I traded. I actually got rid of Stroud for
a few really solid players because he's still got that
solid brand. And I was not disappointed with my return.
And do I still think he's got he's got value. Yeah,
I don't know. There's something that I don't know what
(26:14):
I saw last year. It worries me, and it worries
me for Nico. Nico's a lot of injury issues. People
keep yeah, one amazing year and people forgot that he's
had injury concerns. And I would take I would take
Drake London right now over Nico, Like I think Drake
London amazing last season, and give me a full year
of Penix. Oh, I love some Penix.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Yeah, I don't have Penex energy. I think he's fine,
but I think what happened in that last game of
the season is like very greatly skewing how they think
the Penix what he's gonna go. I just think we
had a full seat. Oh, he had a good start
to the season with Nico and Strau. That's still his guy.
Im and Ra I'm with y'all, like he's super consistent.
(26:57):
Like losing Ben Johnson doesn't really make Kim ir relevant
at all.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
But do you think, Chris, the fact that the Houston
Texans drafted wide receiver pretty heavily and pretty good draft
capital this year tells me a lot about how they
feel about that room.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
No, well, I mean it's really Nato and then nothing else,
like they needed wide receivers and Tyler were started like
for him if they didn't draft anybody.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I think it tells you a lot about Stefan Diggs
being at the age he was and injured.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
On early Yeah, I think it all fact.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
That Tank dell is and I love Tangdal. I think
he is a boom and bust guy. And what I
mean by bust is he's got to stay healthy. Your
issues last year in Houston were due to the fact
that you had a very stale offensive blay caller who
was obviously booted out. Now he's the passing game coordinator
in Miami, and of course their offensive line, which was horrendous,
(27:49):
which they now addressed with the new offensive line coach.
I think this year you're going to see stroud and
much like twenty twenty three, not twenty twenty four.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
I don't believe everything he needs. There's no reason we should,
you know, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
I think they invested heavenly. I mean, if you could
even say that too to a sense, well, then why
I signed Nick Chubb. You have Joe Mixon who obviously
a lot of people were out on the prior year
because of his age, and he balled out in Houston.
I think that's what contenders do is they start collecting
these pieces, and Houston does this phenomenally. They signed these
(28:24):
players to a one year deal. Let me see what
kind of gas is left in that tank, and if
you produce, they'll sign you for a two or three
year deal. Stefan Diggs. I had people that said that
was a horrible move that the Texans says, why it's
a one year deal. If he sucks, he's just cut,
he's gone. It costs me nothing. And look he's gone.
(28:45):
And what did they do? They went back and Nick Listen.
Nick Sair is a very aggressive general manager. He is
going to make I think he made the most trades
this year, but any gns, I could be wrong, but
I believe that's correct. And then he went and drafted
back to back wide receivers who are pretty dang good. No,
Houston's don't win. They're they're they're they're trying to win.
(29:06):
But Nico, No, yeah, Nico's still still a ball in
my Steve. I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
I look, I was able to get rid of Stroud
for Josh Allen and Rashid Rice.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
That is crazy. Crazy car sold somebody is what you did, somebody.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
That's how you got your spoted. Fantasy Football Vice Network
us our stuff too.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Look, hey we got we got to kill. We've got
a bunch of people in the chat, you know. And Dynasteve,
Fantasy football helper said, love it, y'all are awesome. Thank you.
Hopefully that answered your question big draft energy. No cow
moved tonight. They're missing the cow outfit. Bro.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
I did find a new way of folding clothes. That's
changed my life. I'll tell you about okay.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
D Walk said twelve by twelve thirty eight Binch best
ball Dynasty. How are you spending fab if it resets
to one? Hundred when the season starts, I've spent seventy
already on priority free agents that weren't drafted. Who man,
what a team thirty eight bench? Yikes? I mean at
(30:19):
thirty eight bench, like I'd like undrafted free agents. I
think that they give you the most upside. You know,
during the season, sure you can, you can, you can
pick up like handcuffs and stuff. But during the season,
with that deep of a bench, you're you're, you're like,
all the people that you would be saving your fab
money to spend on are gonna already be on rosters. Yeah,
(30:43):
so I like what you're doing. I think we can
kind of leave that one at that like you're you know,
but yeah, I think you're doing the right thing, spinning
it now because everybody else is trying to hold on
to it and you go for what, right.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
How does it even work? You pretty much have. So
just by basic math, there's three hundred and eighteen offensive
players in the league a thirty eight bench. That's four
hundred and fifty six people that can't be right.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Get go spin some fab on e Ft and Chisholm
and tell uh, tell them big draft Energy sent you. Okay,
So Panthers. Ad said, Am I stupid for wanting to
take genty over Justin Jefferson? If you're playing in this
year's scott Fish Bowl? Maybe not, But uh, you know
(31:34):
what do you think, Steve?
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Is it done? Taking genty over JJ? It's tough.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I mean we're talking I'm assuming you're talking startup. It's
what it sounds.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
I think this was a redraft question.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
If it's redraft, I don't. I don't hate it actually
at all. If what we're talking redraft. If it's Dynasty,
it's a little bit shaky depending on you know, what
your roster bill looks like. You know how many receivers,
running backs, you know, flex that kind of stuff will
play a factor, points per, you know all that stuff,
so your formats can change a little bit. If it's
a startup, I actually still don't necessarily hate the move.
(32:10):
It's just it is tough. I mean, you're not gonna
I don't think it's a wrong move to go either way.
I actually have gone through my Dynasty rankings and wide
receivers and kind of going through myself. I've almost dropped
Jefferson down to three from the second spot because I
still have chase number one, and Jefferson's right there too,
But even then, I'm almost putting him at three. I
want to see how McCarthy is gonna be this year.
(32:33):
There's a lot of question marks with that, but he's
so talented. Redraft, I'll take genty because running backs are
so hard. If we're talking dynasty again, depending on your format,
I don't hate it. It's really close. You can't go
wrong with wide receivers in startup dynasties, but a young
running back like Jent is hard to pass up in
a startup.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah, in a startup, for sure, you know they're they're close.
I think it depends on scoring for me, but we
already know Jen's gonna get fed. I do think that
JJ is a little bit over hyped. I moved off
of JJ in one league. I traded him away and
racked up for somebody that we really haven't seen play yet,
(33:20):
So you know, don't I don't hate it, so I
don't think it's stupid. The fact that there's a little
bit of a debate here means that you're in the
right arena. So then just take the person that you
really like. I will tell you this my tip I'm
typically a hero running back guy because it feels like
high end, like your big time running backs are a
(33:43):
lot harder to get than you know, wide receivers, Like
you think about it last year, you know McLaurin, you
look at BTJ like all those guys in Redraft are
going round seven and later. You know, so you can
find a wide receiver that can put up the numbers
you want to more more than likely or more than
(34:03):
you can have a chance at finding a running back
that's gonna get the workload and potential numbers that gent
might get. So that's typically kind of how I look
at it. Let's seem make sure you get all these questions. Okay,
Paul Vowis, Hockinson and a first projected one seven, one
(34:25):
eight fair for Drake London. So here here's the thing.
Don't look at pit numbers. Okay. One of my biggest
things that I can recommend for you is try to
attach a player name or a potential player name to
that pick. Right, So at one seven, one eighth this year,
(34:48):
you're looking at you know, you could be looking at
Travon Henderson, you could be looking at Uh. I don't
think tech goes that far. But you may get wide
receiver two out of the class. You can be looking
at r J. Harvey, you know, I think he's probably
most often in that one seven to one eight role.
(35:08):
So the question would you trade Hockinson and r J.
Harvey or Hockinson and Caleb Johnson, Hockinson and Jayden Higgins?
Like are you pairing those people to get Drake London?
And I'm not out on that deal?
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Which side do you want to be on? Though? If
I can get Drake London for that, I will send
that every day of the week.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Yeah, I think I'm in the same. I haven't been
a huge Drake London advocate personally, Like if if say what, you.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Didn't see him dribbling a football like a basketball yesterday?
Speaker 1 (35:48):
No, I didn't. I wasn't a practice man. I'm sorry,
you know, but I think it's a good trade. Like,
I think that's a fair trade. I could be in there,
especially we just talked about JJ. You know he's pitching
the ball to Hockinson. I mean, I'm in. You can
get Drake London. Drake London still young, and if you're
a Michael Pennock's believer, then you definitely love the trade.
(36:09):
What do you think, Steve Michael Pennock's believer. You love
the trade.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
I do like the trade. I like Drake London. I'll
take that. It's funny we talked, you know, we talked
about buys and sales. Hawkinson's one of those players I'm
looking to move off of. He's still being ranked in
the top five. It's first tight ends. He's mixed, missed
twenty six games in the last four seasons. I don't
want that. I'm moving off. If I can keep that
tight end five, I'll move him. Like get a player
(36:35):
like this, I'll take it all day.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
And Drake London is not even twenty four yet.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Yeah, Mike, let's get let's get him out there, all right?
Speaker 1 (36:43):
So big draft energy. Who would you rather have or
who would you bet on having an immediate impact year
one in fantasy? Chadur mill Row or Dart.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Go ahead, I'll take this one. I'm a quarterbacks guy.
I'm I'm I'm gonna say, sad.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I hate that tape. I agree your guests on my show,
and I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
It's Joe Flacco. Like what it's Joe.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
It's not just Joe Flacco though he's got that was
drafted ahead of him. Yeah, it's not Kenny Picket. Look,
I don't hate it. I think, oh god, I think
that the I think that the crowd will help Shuder
find a place to play. But I don't love that.
(37:47):
I like their running game. I don't like the receivers.
You know, like it. Just I'll tell you what. I
am more of the opinion that we could see because
Sam Donald traditionally when he is not behind a good
offensive line, and he is currently not behind a good
offensive line, struggles and gets injured. So I think Milroe
(38:13):
has the closest shot to actual playing time because of
injury possibilities and or just the fact. I mean, Donald's
one of those guys like he gets hit a couple
of times and he's like out of the game. He
gets out of his head and he starts, you know,
playing garbage football, you know, like and with no protection.
(38:34):
You know, they let go pretty much of all you know,
both of his top weapons, you know, like it. Just
I think that he could get beat up. And the
difference is the difference between Milroe and and Donald is
Millro could get it done with his legs. He doesn't
have to have the receivers, and I think he just
(38:54):
changes the game there. I think that he's got the
quickest pathway to fantasy relevance for sure. But he would
be my dark horse out of those three.
Speaker 4 (39:07):
So you don't think the Giants will play dart Now?
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Have you seen Russell Wilson in camp?
Speaker 4 (39:13):
Yeah? I watched Russell Wilson in camp last year too.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
It's yeah, and he took Stews to the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
You got Russ and you got Jamis. Don't forget about Jamis.
Come on, give that man credit everyone.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Jamis's credit is he's nice like and and James's credit is.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
That dude, James will be a terrible person. Screw him.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
They have wide receiver win this year.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
If he started all season.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
They have got to sit for a year. They have to.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
I agree. I don't disagree with you, but I'm just curious, Like,
if that's the hesitation, I would probably pick mill Rose. Well,
just for the rushing. I don't see it in door.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
But it's okay, Chris, you're the quarterback guy. And if
you say, look, he's the quarter take his advice. I
just don't like it.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
I mean, he has the best chance of starting Week
one if nothing else.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
I'm looking at the path and I just I mean,
Sam Darnold played pretty good in Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
I'm not saying he's Minnesota has a great offensive line.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
I get it. I get it now. If the question
were who would be wide receivers, I would definitely say
I'm much more on the mill Road side of all
three when it comes to the potential in fantasy. I'm
not a big Dark guy, so I think Dark was
(40:37):
severely overhyped. And he's a one trick prony and he
plays the play action pass beatball perfectly. But when it
comes to short and intermediate, I just I'm out on him.
But I'm just looking at the path and I see
shador As as He's an easier path to get in there.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Yeah, look, we got to move on to another question.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
One.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
We're using up time. Three we lost like eight watchers. No,
I'm just kidding, uh the I'm We're all here for
a good time. Make sure you drop those questions in
the chat man some doozies tonight. I'm loving it. Okay,
Keeper League PPR, I have CD T Higgins Chase Brown. Okay,
(41:20):
so the question is you keep one or The hard.
Speaker 4 (41:29):
Part is with Keeper leagues. It depends on the rules
of the keeper league, right, because if it's like, oh,
like it's gonna be in the round that you get
them in, then like Chase Brown might be the move
because you probably took him pretty late last year. But
if it's a oh that was for the old question
about he's saying about.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Oh with with gent Justin Jefferson, Yeah, I mean, especially
if it's a keeper league and you don't have to
I mean sure.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
That's the other thing. If it's a keeper league and
Jens does what everybody thinks he's gonna do.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Yeah, yeah, I like that take. I mean you got CD. Yeah,
so don't hate that either, Okay, Mark g I have
a pending trade, give up Justin Jefferson Ouch and Justin
Herbert Ouch to get back Stroud, Nico Rice and a
(42:24):
twenty six second and a twenty seventh first, Why am
I so damn hesitant.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
Because of the names you?
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Wo Man hit the button for you. We could do
it together, because I mean, you basically get at least
the value that you're getting back, and you could get
like someone super sick in twenty twenty seven. That's like
an immediate win, Like that's a win now, win later
thing like it's awesome.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Yeah, I don't hate the trade. I think justin, Justin,
Herbert and Stroud are pretty similar as far as quarterback value.
So then it's just would you really trade JJ for
Nico Rice a first and a second?
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Yeah, first, there you go, Mark G.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
I just hate that.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Is a good year to get a first.
Speaker 4 (43:17):
Before he got that draft pick, he was a little G.
But now he's big G. Because that's making it.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
So while we're waiting on some more questions to pop
in the chat, let's talk. Uh, let's let's talk. You
know that buy sale arena, but let's let's get a
little hot with it. Okay, So like, who's somebody right now? Okay, Chris,
and you're shaking your head like you're excited, man, like.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
You throw them off the stake. We haven't gotten the
hot take yet.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Well, let's let's just go there. Then give me give
me some hot, like, let's get the audience riled up.
I want them yelling at you.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
Give me some hot listen.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Thing that I can do. I can get the Twitter
world yelling at me. I believe the wide receiver one
of the oak I mean the Las Vegas Raiders is
gonna be Deontay Thornton by the end of the season.
I will say that. I will say that.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
You know what's funny is I actually think everyone should
go buy Jacoby Myers.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
Right now, I would say the same thing. I love Jacoby.
How dare you listen?
Speaker 1 (44:23):
Hold on, hold on a second, let me, let me,
let me help, let me back Chris up a little
bit here. Outside of Jacoby Myers. Give me an a
type receiver, like an outside guy, a big fast because
Deontay Thornton is like Calvin Johnson's size, right, and he's fast,
(44:44):
like like who else on their offense can be in
that role, right. He's really kind of by himself in
that arena. So there, there's definitely a pathway. I mean,
it's today. If Gino can feed DK, why can't he
feed Thornton. There's nobody else that can do that role.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Yeah, yeah, brought Bowers is that guy?
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Yeah, you're not gonna win.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Bowers is not a deep sideline.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Some plugs and had a sick fade, we would not
be having this conversation.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
Look, chief, Look, thiefs have made a living off of
doing that with Mahomes and Kelsey and it's already dead.
It's dying out if you cannot live off of off
of just a tight end alone. I mean, the only
other quarterback to do it was Tom Brady and Bronkowski.
I mean, Geno's not that guys. And yeah, but Antonio
(45:43):
Gates had Philip Rivers we're talking about, and Bowers is good.
I'm not discrediting Bowers at all, That's not all what
I'm doing. But Gino Geno Smith, Come.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
On, man, Gino does not have a history of feeding
this tight end. I can tell you that they're gonna
have the slot. So Gene know can see him name
the tight end that he had though.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
That's that's true, that's the true point.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
Hold on respect will Disley bro.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
They forget about I don't know, I don't know what
tight ends.
Speaker 4 (46:18):
And they currently have no offense.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
Well, was the tight end that they that he really
had as far as you know, I'm just.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Trying to thank Seattle.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
Yeah, they had, like Barner, they have Jimmy Graham briefly, Yeah,
that's Jimmy Graham, which is a pretty like Jimmy.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
I mean, fans not awful though, like List.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
It's a good real life player. But he hasn't lived
up to the Iowa hype.
Speaker 1 (46:46):
Uh. Either way, Gino doesn't feed his tight ends like
it does. Even if you feed your tight end, you
feed your tight end, like you know, whether it's Travis
Kelcey or Noah Gray, like Pat Mahomes hits his tight end.
You know, it just depends, you know, on the player.
Speaker 3 (47:05):
His You know, Geno Smith's deep ball accuracy. It's twelve
point four big time throw rate. I just I don't know.
I'm just not a big Jacoby Myers.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
Well, here's the deal. It's not it's not a bad take.
It's possible, but I do agree because of this take,
Jacoby Myers is cheap. He is cheap, but in the
same vein, in the same vein if you look at
draft spot, Thornton is if if Myers is cheap, Thornton
(47:40):
is free. Like it's so, I mean, if I have
to choose, like you look at the people going at
Thornton's range, if I have to choose between or sorry
and going in Myers range, if I choose between Myers
and t which Tea is probably a little bit before Myers,
but you know, like that range of wide receiver, I
(48:04):
don't know that I don't know, like Pickens, would you
rather have Pickens or Myers? You know, like they're in
the similar range. Yeah, so okay, uh we we digressed
from that. Speaking of Pickens, Mark, g wow, g right?
(48:29):
Could I could give up T Higgins and John hu
to get Pickens and Chase Brown? Smash the button. Smash
the button, smash the button. Do it? Don't you make
that face like this is something to think about, Joe.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's that's not it. It's
just why, like, like is that person offering that, like
this is a very strange trade.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Maybe he loves T Higgins.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
Look, T Higgins will be fine, he'll have a good season,
but Pickens can easily put up the same numbers. And
I would much rather have Chase Brown than John Wu.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
Well yeah, John who could end up on the Steelers
come September. It'll be the tight end four it.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Yeah, I definitely don't want Johnny if he goes to
the Steelers. Yeah, that's gross.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
What do you mean be with Arthur Smith? It's perfect,
Yeah for a love j Smith.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
Because you have Pat Farmouth to become the new Cole Pitts.
So they wouldn't throw to him again.
Speaker 1 (49:25):
Mark Gate the love. Appreciate the love. Anytime somebody steps
up and throws us a super chat. Much appreciated. Thank you, sir.
All Right, Steve, we got a little bit of juice.
We got Thornton from Chris. Give me some juicy.
Speaker 2 (49:46):
I mean, I don't know if it's necessarily juicy, but
if we're talking, like, you know, moving on from some players,
I'm selling James Cook right now as fast as I can.
I mean, he's right now in most rinking being right
outside or just before RB ten. I get he finished
RB eight last year, but he had way less touches
(50:07):
than he had in twenty twenty three. And the only
reason he was RB eight last year was because he
had sixteen touchdowns. That is not going to happen every
single season. So cut that in half and he's like
in the RB sixteen range. Yeah, he's being treated heavily.
And then you still have Ray Davis, who I thought
I actually could end up taking up that starting spot
if the way James Cook is treating this offseason. So
(50:30):
I'm getting rid of him as fast as I can.
His value is still strong. I'm moving it, I.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
Like it can.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
I piggyback off of that, Steve, Yeah, do it. Actually,
one of my players today was to buy was Ray Davis.
So I definitely agree with your hands down.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
There's not a scenario that I'm leaving without him in
redraft this year. Just with the holdout for James Cook
being a smaller guy, like it just screams like injury
risk or struggling out the gate. And then Ray Davis
is like that late round like Dart throw, Like you
don't need four wide receiver threes on your team, like
go for lottery picks, go get Ray Davis.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Like, well, Ray Davis can take the touchdowns. He can
take easily six of those touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
He had fixed of him last season.
Speaker 1 (51:17):
Yeah, you know, like what I like it. I think
it's I think it's juicy. I think that. I think that.
And also you look at it like when you think
of it from an NFL team perspective, Right if I
if I have James Cook on my team and we're
in a contract year, I kind of like I want
(51:38):
to use Ray Davis like I want to. I want
to put him in there. I want to see him
do work. I want to see what he's capable of.
I want him to lower James Cook's price for me,
because right now, James Cook believes he should be the
top paid running back in the NFL, and I ain't
paying him that. Like, let me just roll with Ray Davis,
like I'm good, you know, Like it's not like Ray
(52:00):
Davis was garbage or like coming out of college, we
didn't know that Ray Day what Ray Davis was cable
out of out of cable of outside out of Kentucky.
Like you know, he's a good, good player, you know. Uh,
and you could go get somebody cheap, like I'm good.
I like it. I'm on a sale James Cook role
as well. And then I do like the Ray Davis
(52:21):
deep take. That's good. That's good stuff right there. Uh,
Elijah Moore finally has a good quarterback. How do you
think he performs?
Speaker 3 (52:33):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (52:35):
Yeah, I'm like yeah, for me, this is one of
those things, like this is one of those things where
the narrative hits and and people are going, Elijah Moore
finally a good quarterback, like he could he could be
Jerry Judy, Like he could be Jerry Judy. All he
had to do was go to the Browns and all
of a sudden he finished wide receiver twelve. And I'm
(52:57):
telling him that, like if I if I'm trading with this,
I'm LIKELI new team, Look what Jerry Judy did last year.
You put them in a new quarterback. It goes from wide
receiver nothing to wide receiver twelve. Yeah, and then like
I am, I am trading him for the moon, like
you know what I mean, like the the best deal
I can get on that narrative I am taking. I'm
(53:18):
smiling about it, And afterwards, I'm going over to jail
and I'm like, look what I did, bro, Oh my god,
this is murder.
Speaker 4 (53:24):
Like, oh no, I'm the one that accepted that.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Yeah, you know it, Just like you gotta be careful
of the narratives, Like sure, there's potential there, you know,
like there's potential that he could find rebirth and be relevant.
But if if essentially you're taking somebody that you're saying
(53:47):
could find relevance, could be possible, just trade him for
somebody that's already possible. Go trade, Go trade Elijah Moore
for Corland Sun.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
Well.
Speaker 4 (53:57):
The hard part about more is it's like I think
that he does have talent. I think that he's a
good football player. Is it going to be to the
degree of Jerry Judy. No, but he wasn't of caliber
of j Judy when he got drafted either. But the
hard part is is it's like, where does he fit
into that offense and how does he get the meaningful
snaps to even get the targets because they're not going
to play him over Shakir, They're not going to take
(54:19):
out Keyon Coleman because they play very different roles. So
it's like, where does he fit in when you're gonna
have a lot of Kincaid in that offense as well.
So I think that's the hardest part from like a
fantasy relevance perspective, that's gonna.
Speaker 1 (54:30):
Like Joe, Joe, You're not supposed to say that because
then they don't want to trade you the good player
for Elijah Moore.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
Well to let Paul's friends be watching the show and
then he can use your strategy and do good things
good things again.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
I know where he's coming from though ere has talent,
but he does.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
But in the other study with him, the other bad
part of that is, like Josh Allen, you know, he
just doesn't service his wide receivers that well, you know
what I mean? Like when when do we see wide
receiver ones in Josh Allen's offense?
Speaker 2 (55:12):
Finished the coordinator though, when they changed from Dorsey to
their new OC, that helped the whole offense changed.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Yeah, But I mean like I saw a comp for
Shakir and it was Cold Beasley and it's like I
feel like that's like really good, and it's like people
might not like remember, like people, you're gonna get a
hundred touches, Like he was solid consistent, Like he's that guy.
But is he an alpha? Like no?
Speaker 1 (55:35):
Right, So, like you're you're saying Elijah Moore could like
Diggs never once finished wide receiver one. He did finish
in the top ten, which is fine, but he's number one,
Like Elijah Moore is Stefan Diggs talent? No, Okay, So
(55:55):
then it's irrelevant there. So then the comparison becomes let's say,
who you're saying is is is better than more? Shakir
has not finished inside the top thirty in his career
in the three years he's played there and the two
with even the year without digs, he's still like last
(56:17):
year he finished wide receiver thirty seven. So it's like,
is Elijah Moore gonna outplay him. So what's the ceiling
for him? Is are we going Elijah Moore is going
to be wide receiver sixty?
Speaker 2 (56:29):
Well, he averages wide receiver fifty fifty five, So that's
really what you're gonna get out of him.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
Right, And so for that, like if somebody's buying on
the hype that he could produce, I mean you could
probably get a wide receiver forty or wide receiver thirty
three out of them, somebody that they're not hype on.
You know, you could go get it. Not that you'd
want to in dynasty, but you could probably trade him
for Adam Thielen I would and Redraft I would rather
(56:55):
have feeling you could probably trade them for to get
I'll take Leaget.
Speaker 3 (57:05):
I would take Leaget too over Legbore.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
Oh yeah, and so and Corey saying, go cowboys, giving
you a little love, Steve. You know. But see that's
the power of the narrative, Like that's really it. Like
that's the power of the narrative. Like you get something
like that and then all of a sudden, the deal
is to churn. Unless you really believe, unless you're sitting here,
Joe and you really believe that Elijah Moore is gonna
(57:31):
give you wide receiver like top forty or top thirty
five wide receiver play, You're gonna trade them for somebody
that will give you top thirty, top thirty five, you know,
wide receiver play.
Speaker 4 (57:44):
I just would never make a trade like that because
you're basically just bored and you're just like trading stuff
that you don't want. It's like like if you're like
at lunch, like at school back in the day, and
like you're like, hey, I got these vegetables. You want
these vegetables. Like now we're both throwing the vegetables away.
We're not eating them, So it's like what's the point,
Like just go do like a best ball draft on
draft or fantasy or something like.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
I don't know, but like there is a world like
that's why this this question is here. There is a
world where it's a trade relevant question.
Speaker 4 (58:13):
He's a great throw in, yeah, Like it's like, oh,
you know what you get more like he might be
able to do something.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
Here's a narrative where he's maybe not a throw in,
Like maybe you're getting somebody less than four.
Speaker 4 (58:25):
I would trade him for fab bro.
Speaker 1 (58:28):
Right, Yeah, if you would trade him for fab and
the narrative is he has a good quarterback and you
can actually get a decent player out of him. There's
no world where we're saying, yeah, hang on to Elijah
More that's gonna be good because he's with Josh Allen.
Speaker 2 (58:47):
Can I be Devil's advocate? Though?
Speaker 1 (58:49):
I love it? Go?
Speaker 2 (58:51):
So here's the pitch for Elijah Moore if we're gonna
try to sell him. All right, the last two seasons,
he's averaged over one hundred targets. Now it's catch trade's low.
But yes, I had horrible quarterbacks. You just me no, no, no,
think about the quarterback play. That's what the whole pitch is.
You had Josh Allen now right, if he can get
anywhere near that hundred targets like he did the last
(59:12):
two seasons, but with a better quarterback, I mean, you
know who had similar targets last season, Lad McConkey, Mike Evans.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
Shakira has seve hundred targets last season and he caught.
He caught seventy six of them and still finished thirty seven.
Give me more catch percentage. It's less than seventy six percent, but.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
Some of it is the quarterback play. You got to
give something to it.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
But here's the thing. I'm with you. That's what I'm
telling somebody that I'm more. I'm like, look, he's at this,
and so I got to give my value if I'm
going to audition him because he could actually produce this year,
Like he's this is the and they're asking me for
him because they believe he can produce, right, and so
like I'm dealing them period.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
Pull off the tree and and sell Elijah Moore. I'll
give you an award for.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
That him up.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Trade him for uh, do not doubt me. I promise
you it will happen. The Yeah, you don't know what
I do for a living outside of this, Trust me,
it would happen.
Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
I can't wait for next week on the show.
Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
Oh God, I'm like, make that happen. Make that trade
happen this week.
Speaker 1 (01:00:33):
I gotta I think I'm trying to think of a
team that I have Elijah More on. If not, I
could probably grab off let me grab him, let me
grab him off Waivers and I will tell you what
I get for him. I will this is I will
take this song, put it in the chat. Somebody type
it in the YouTube. Chat, so I go back to it,
and I will in next week's show, I will let
(01:00:55):
you know what we traded Elijah Moore for and mhm it.
See now, I'm gonna be on vacation next week, so
I actually have time. I have time to invest in
this trade. It's gonna be I'm gonna kill somebody.
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
I think we all should do that and report back
with what we've gotten.
Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
I just I'm trading him from Darnel Mooney.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
That's a great trade raft, that's a great trade.
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
Reference.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
Joe was saying, all right, well man, what a show
we didn't even get to get to. Does anybody have
a hot take that just needs to be dropped in
this show, like like a mic dropper at the end
of it, something that that that the audience is going
to hit the chat after this.
Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
With, like how someone finishes or just some good you know,
what are you thinking?
Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
Because I have something like just a good one, like
a good hot take, like whether it be house my finishes,
whether it be this person is a sell now, whether
it be this person is a bye. And I know
it's crazy because they like whatever it is, like you
know kind of what would be you know, I've got your.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
Say what, I've got a player to sell, but I mean,
I don't know. I think I think Steve might would
agree with me on this one though, me and him.
Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
Kind of a bix.
Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
It is.
Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
I've gotten I don't want any Bonex on my.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
Teams fair enough, so it's not that hot.
Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
People think I'm crazy too because I get it too,
but I'm not doing it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
I see major regression. I don't see where they've done
anything to help them outside of signing a thirty year
old tight end. Again. I'm not a big Courtland Sutton fan,
and you know how I feel about memes. I just don't.
I don't. I don't see it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
But anyways, he did eat with less. That's all I'm saying.
Not that I'm on Knicks hype or anything, but he
did it last year.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
With list Listen. NFL defenses. They get taped and they
will adapt, and you're gonna see a different bon Knicks
in this season.
Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
I don't doubt that. That's why we always see the
sophomore slow slump. You know, Joe, you got anything hot?
Speaker 4 (01:03:21):
I mean sticking on the quarterback year. Two players that
I would sell, I think that Drake may is a
little bit too high right now. He's currently ranked as
like QB seven and he has nothing to show for it.
It's like for me, like I would tear down so
I'd have whoever else who's probably gonna have on par
(01:03:42):
or a better season than him, and then get that player.
Plus give me Jordan Love plus give me I don't know,
like it's it's just insane, like what you can get
from I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
I've been buying a lot of Bryce Young.
Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
Bryce Young is cheap. Bye, that's a good boy.
Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
She'd buy.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
You're able to get more like if you, for example,
if you got rid of a Drake May, I can
get Bryce Young plus something for Drake May and I'll
take it.
Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
You could probably get Bryce Young and yeah, that's that's
a give me. You could probably get Bryce Young and uh,
I don't think you can get tent and Bryce Young.
Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
You probably get like Ricky Piersoll. I can do that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
I would lie. I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
But Bryce Young people, man, he after he got benched
last year, he can't. He was on a tear and
now you add ted into that. Man, he was phenomenal.
People were getting he was averaging almost twenty points a game.
In the last like seven to eight games. No one
even cares, and I'm buying him.
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
I don't I don't hate it. I was trying to. Look,
I just did a trade. I traded away JJ McCarthy
in the league. Hold on a second, yeah, get rid.
Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
Of How does everybody feel about JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
As soon as I saw in the now Championship preview
they were talking about, oh, I don't wear shoes on
the field so I can get grounded. I was like,
you are not going to make it as the NFL.
Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
The only thing that gives him some type of chance
is the fact that you've got a good head coach
and Kevin O'Connell fantastic. He will absolutely support him and
get him in the right position. You've got two really
great receivers Hawkinson.
Speaker 4 (01:05:23):
I mean, he has a perfect setup to walk into.
Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
For sure, he should not be he should easily be
a top ten fantasy quarterback this year, there's no doubt.
But I don't think he does it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Okay, so I just traded JJ McCarthy in the league. Okay,
well we'll kind of I'm anxious.
Speaker 4 (01:05:43):
I'm worried about this person, Like, what have you done?
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
No, No, this isn't that bad. This isn't that bad
kind of So I traded away JJ McCarthy and Will Levis.
This is in a super flex league, and I traded
him for and granted I needed quarterbacks. I'm lower quarterbacks
and starting quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (01:06:08):
I'm already bad.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
It's not that bad. It's not that it's actually good trade.
Speaker 3 (01:06:12):
When you say it's not that bad, it makes us nervous.
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
I got Russell Wilson. God you what I got Tua?
I got Trey Benson. I got a twenty five first,
which was Jackson Dart. So I locked in the Giants
quarterback room and I got twenty six first.
Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
Oh, yeah, you're good.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
So I shifted JJ and Lews for the Giants quarterback room,
Tua Benson and another first.
Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
Someone actually took lets.
Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
Yeah, that's just the party, Like I would have vetoed
that out of principal at that point. No, man, that
was just a throw in the other thing. That's really
nice about that twenty here's.
Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
The thing, this is crazy. That's the JJ Hyde, that's
JJ McCarthy hype like that. I've got two quarterback rooms.
A first in twenty twenty six, which is the quarterback draft.
And Trey Benson.
Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
I like that I got three quarterbacks for the price
of one.
Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
I'm still nine to know Steve's hot take here He
almost announced it and then stopped.
Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
It's not too hot, don't worry about it's for the
fact that Dak is going to finish his QB one
this year.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
We got somebody. In a chat. Brian Harwood said, hello there,

Joe loose on hosting. It's one of those things where
like there's no telling what's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
So it's a three hour show.
Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
I don't know if it's a three hour show, I
don't know if he comes he shows up in a cowsuit,
