Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello. This is the Slow Mojoe Poetry Show. I'm your host,
Slow Mojo. This is the vehicle of expression woven into
the words. This is the Slow Mojo Poetry Show. And

(00:23):
on tonight we're going to have special We're going to
have one poem read out of the reading writings of

(00:44):
Apparitions of a Warrior by Joseph Evaldi, and two poems. Also,
we were going to have from the writings of poem
McCartney from the poems and lyrics from Blackbird Singing from

(01:10):
nineteen sixty five to nineteen ninety nine. We're going to
read two poems from that. Now I get to the
first poem from Joseph Ivaldi, read buy Me Salmo Joe,

(01:40):
and I'm going to read this. It is called Lost Chronicle.
Evil ones shed their evil minds. They always call havoc

(02:01):
and destroy one's happiness. Maybe it's truly time to do
what I want. I am in the shadow of others.
I face the battle of good and evil, but they're
always is a source of facing trouble, someone to defeat it.

(02:32):
Times have truly changed, but people haven't. They're jealous, they
are envious, and they are out for themselves. From this
more age builds as much as it's cold to be

(02:57):
a favorite. Others should know the price of their fear.
If they don't, then their fear will hurt them. As
those people who are happy, they will laugh at the
jealous beware, because that fear is the only thing that

(03:24):
separates people from being who they are. That was what
was chronicle by Joseph Evaldi from Apparitions of Warrior. Now

(03:47):
we read read a poem from Paul McCartney's book Blackbirds
Singing Poems and Lyrics from nineteen sixty five to nineteen

(04:09):
ninety nine. This is called Rocky, as Joe Vast would
put it, Rocky Raccoon. Now. Somewhere in the Black Mountain

(04:32):
Hills of Dakota, there lived a young boy called Rocky Raccoon,
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
hit young Rocky in the eye. Rocky didn't like that.

(05:00):
He said, I'm gonna get that boy. So one day
he walked into town, booked himself a room in the
local saloon. Rocky Raccoon checked into his room going to

(05:24):
find Gideon's Bible. Rocky had come equipped with a gun
to shoot off the legs of his rival. His rival
seems had broken his dreams by stealing the girl of

(05:47):
his fancy. Her name was Miguel Magill, and she pulled
herself lil, but everyone know her as Nancy. Now. She

(06:09):
and her man, who called himself Dan, were in the
next room at the hodown. Rocky burst in and grinning
a grin. He said, Danny, boy, this is a showdown.

(06:34):
But Daniel was hot. He drew firstant shot and Rocky
collapsed in the corner. Now the doctor came in, stinking
of gin and proceeded to lie on the table. He said, Rocky,

(06:58):
you met your match, and Rocky said, Doc, it's only
a scratch and I'll be better. I'll be better, Doc,
as soon as I am able, Now Rocky Raccoon. He

(07:19):
fell back into his room, only to find Gideon's Bible.
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt to
help with good Rocky's revival. Very good poetry by Paul McCartney.

(07:49):
He is a legend of the Beatles, and he is
a very good poet himself. Now we are at the
eight minute mark. This will be a short show because
we're gonna do one poetry by Joseph The writings is

(08:14):
Joseph Levaldi and another poem by the legend Paul McCartney. Now,
SloMo Joe, I'm going to endorse some stuff on this podcast.

(08:41):
I am going to endorse Richard Andrew Olcas in his
network of Oakwood and the Olkanas Network. Andrew Olcus can
be found on Speaker and also his kindle books including

(09:12):
mel Thoria, can be found on the Kindle Amazon can
also we give a shout out to the Bill and

(09:33):
Most show, which should be coming out, if not now,
maybe later. I know their first show back January sixth
or January seventh. Stay tuned and listened. They produce comedy

(09:59):
and as the humor. Joseph Vivaldi will come on the
show at the end of the show to do his pugs.
But before we do that, Joseph, I shall read some

(10:30):
more of Joseph Vivaldi's poetry and maybe read two of
his poems. Before I get to Paul McCarthy poems. I'm
going to read too of Joseph Vivaldi's poems Me that

(11:04):
here we go. This one is called Journey for Truth
the middle in the middle of nowhere, yet it's everywhere,
like a journey searching for the greater truth. It burdens

(11:28):
upon lost emotions. It is lost as no one can
satisfy the day. It is if they will face struggles,

(11:49):
it challenges them, and it is the key for the new.
It is a moment to step back and look if

(12:09):
you like who you are. It is the feeling of
a revived life that starts as I find myself in
an ongoing battle between the dust and the wind. The

(12:33):
dust is the dirt inside me. The wind is my dreams,
following in the air as lively as in the heart.
I will someday find the battle continues on another day.

(12:56):
What's inside will have more than this can tell after
it's over. As for the future to mystery to us.
Here's the next poem. It is called Colors, and this

(13:26):
is by Joseph Vivaldi me and is from the book
Apparitions of Warrior. We see many colors, but forget where
they are. I had lost my sight and my feelings

(13:50):
turned gray. I try to live my passion to the fullest,
but my emotions were left empty until something came and
guided me, and color came back. It's only when we
see color come back we realize what we have. My

(14:14):
passion was never inside my head, but there in my heart.
You can see all the colors you want, but it
won't mean anything until you experienced it. I guess I
felt my color coming back to me. It's very good

(14:41):
poetry from the writings of Joseph Evolved. Now I read
the words wrapping up the Somo poetry show before plucks,

(15:02):
and this is called Paccasto's last words. Drink to me,
excuse me. A grand old painter died last night, his
paintings on the wall. Before he went, he bade us

(15:27):
farewell and said good night to us all. Drink to me,
Drink to my health. You know I can't drink anymore.
Drink to me, Drink to my health. You know I
can't drink anymore. Three o'clock in the morning, I'm getting

(15:50):
ready for bed. Came without warning. But I'll be waiting
for you, baby, I'll be waiting for you there. So
drink to me. Drink to my health. You know I
can't drink anymore. Drink to me, Drink to my health.

(16:15):
You know I can't drink anymore. Now. I know I
was going to close it, but I want to close
it on this note. Fly by night, And this is

(16:42):
a short one and I will close it here. You
are the one they can never reach, they can never teach,
that always had something they can never touch, who wanted
so much, who wanted too much, that nearly bad nothing.

(17:09):
You were the one. I closed the book by Paul
McCartney Blackbirds, Singing Poems and Lyrics, nineteen sixty five. In
nineteen ninety nine, it's about the show for the day

(17:36):
I will fight on me Joseph Vivaldi where he will
do plugs for the brand. Hello, this is Joseph Vivaldi

(17:57):
and I'm going to do plug for a Soul Warriors Journey.

could find it. It's available. And also we have a
