But honestly, I feel like there hits a certain point
where people like don't ask, they just like I just
assume that this person is around my age, and then
like years into a friendship, like, wait, you're how many
years younger than me? Like, I still think that you're
only like a year or two younger than me, which
is not the case.

No, how many is it you?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Are? You like three years four years younger than me?
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Maybe we'll figure it out. Yeah, me and.

how either one of us are.

Me and a friend of the show TK Wilde went
to a show the other day and they usually give
you a little bracelet if you if you are of
age and can have a beverage. And as we went
through the metal Detector. They went, you guys are good, like,
oh man, what is it the gray side?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I don't know. Oh yeah, that's the gray starter. It
didn't even matter anymore.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, that was it. That was the end. Let's talk
about our last episode, super Mario Land. We were joined
by the elder Sport friends of the show. A good episode.
I loved having his insight on everything. I mean, when
everything we spoke about he had a little tidbit, a
little fact to ed in. It really just added like
something special to the show from someone who's very close

to the Super Mario games.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
When you originally proposed the idea of having Sport come on,
I knew one that we were in for a treat
because you know, he's he's a Day one guy. We
talked about that on the on that episode, and also
we know his extensive knowledge of all things super Mario,
so I had expectations. He blew them away. I was
(03:38):
wildly impressed with the amount of knowledge that he was
able to drop just ford super Mario Land, and then
able to kind of cross back into the episode that
we had done previously and drop some knowledge bombs on
that as well. So it's it's fun it was great
to have him. He'll definitely be back and make sure
to go and follow the older sport and stay tuned

for when he starts doing his speed runs again live
on Twitch. And yeah, thanks again for coming in and
doing the podcast work.

I had a friend listen to our show for the
first time ever, and they obviously chose this one because
it was the latest episode, and immediately called me out

it's an ongoing thing and I'm never gonna change it,

That was that I don't foresee us. There's so many
games that we can play now, so it's not like
Super Mario is going to be the only thing that
we talked about. Granted, there are a lot of Super
Mario games for us to cover, but I think it'll
be a little bit before we come back to that.

But I hate the way they do that, but I
get it, it's the way it goes.

I mean, we're already there's videos on YouTube already and
posts and read it about what must have two K
twenty five needs to be more successful than twenty four.

So and we haven't heard anything yet. We don't know
if it's going to come out wrestle Mania time, because
there was a little rumor that it was going to
be pushed back to October where it used to release.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah, I wouldn't mind my with my October release.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, I wouldn't mind more time with this game because
we're having so much fun with it. But at the
same time, I'm also ready for a new one. So
it's always because I want to buy on the Steam
not the console.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It's always exciting to see what they do for the
new the new yearly release. So that's that's really where
all of my uh my hope lies. It's just like
what cool things are they going to put out, because
I'm always like, oh, they're going to bring back like
create a finish or something like. Oh.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors released September of nineteen ninety three
for the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis, developed by
Lucas Arts, published by Konami. And in this game, you
take control of Ether, Zeke or Julie and you try
to rescue your neighbors, as the name of the game says,
from monsters inspired by classic horror movies. And you get
(09:49):
a wide variety of weapons and power ups throughout your journey.
And yes, the name of the game is Zombies eight
My Neighbors, but you also have de people wielding chainsaws.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
There's a cheerleaders and grandpa.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I mean those are the people that don't rescue. Oh yeah,
everyone that you rest. There's there's an older teacher. There's
like a traveling baby, people on vacation, the baby cheerleader,
a girl that jumps up and down on a trampoline. Uh,
there's people hanging out in the pool and a float.
But you get a little wide variety of different horror
(10:28):
movie tropes. Like there there's like a little demon that
has an axe. There's a chainsaw guy. Obviously there's zombies,
like the title of the game says. But it is
all set in different levels worlds. There's a backyard, there's
like a corn maze or like a hedge maze. There's
(10:49):
a mall, there's a.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Everything pretty much out of a horror movie or story
from the eighties and nineties. I mean it's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Yeah, it is a that I played a lot as
a as a child.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
It just I think it's a bar talk about that
because you picked this game. I never heard of this
game at all. I'm sure maybe at some point I've
seen it and just kind of glanced over it and
didn't think anything of it. Tell us how you found it,
tell us where you played it, how you played it,
who you played it with.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
So us so I was a kid obviously in nineteen
ninety three, and I do believe this was one of
those like bargain bin games that we ended up getting,
you know a little bit after it was released, and
it had its time as a as a new release
and then slowly makes its way down the rankings, and
(11:41):
when it was on sale, I'm pretty sure we got it.
And I had it for the Genesis, and yeah, it
was a game that I used to play with my
grandfather a lot, and he it was one of those
games where he only ever played golf on the Genesis. Okay,
(12:02):
so anything that wasn't fair, anything that wasn't the golf
game was a challenge.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
And I know that's exactly what he called it too,
the golf game, because that's that's.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
What every grandparent caused the game, regardless of what generation
or console it is is. I want to play the
football game, I want to play the baseball game. Whatever
the sport is, it's that game and they will ride
out that one game for years, and that is just
the that'll happen to us one day, John, I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Oh, that's like when my dad saw Acclaimed All Star
Baseball whatever it was, Triple A and Derek Jeter on
the cover. For years. He just wanted to play Derek
Jeter Baseball. That's all it was.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
That was it. But yeah, this was a This was
a game that I played a lot with him and did.
We we crawled through the levels, because if you watch
the play through video, you'll notice that John and I
had the same issue, mainly because the characters move really fast,
but if you walk in different directions, you're tied to
both be on the same on the screen at the
(13:02):
same time, so the camera has to follow you both
at the same time. It's kind of constricting, and it
does add an extra little challenge because there's like like
a puzzle aspect to it, where it's like, Okay, you
jumped over a fence, and now I can't get to
that part of the fence, so I have to walk
on one side of the fence to lead you through.
And there's there's parts of the game and specific levels
(13:24):
that play into that that you have to use it
as a game mechanic, and I feel like there are
so many games that have come out since that kind
of use that mechanic where it's it's not a split
screen game. It is a co op game where you
are in a fixed location with a fixed camera and
you both have to move together through the level.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
That's like one of my favorites, Mickey's Mousekapades, same thing,
if you're controlling. I think that's what we're playing. Next
level is playing Drastic Park. I think if you're Mickey
and Mini and they end up on there's a way
to put them both on like different floors. But oh,
whatever you do. But like after so you jump, she's
following you with the jump. But if you guys go
(14:05):
up a ladder and you go off early, she's now
on the bottom floor jumping the same time as you,
and you got to like remeet up. Oh, we don't
know that.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
It's like those weird puzzle mechanics and they're frustrating at
the time, but I feel like as you get older
and you go back and you visit these kinds of
games like this actually was kind of like for ninety
three so many games that do this now, it kind
of feels like it was ahead of its time. I
know it's not the first one to do it, but
it's just like, ah, this is actually like, I hated
this as a kid, I enjoy it as an adult.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Yeah. And now the main characters, Zeke and Julie. Which
one did you usually pick?
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Uh? Zeke always had like the three D sunglasses on.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
I'm not sure going on?
Speaker 2 (14:44):
I mean, well, that's why I let you pick.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Julie from the front end. You're like, wait a minute,
is a kid's game? Then again, it guy's change chasing
you with chainsaw, So probably not a kids game. But
let's talk about the actual how market it is a
kids game somehow. Let's talk about this gameplay here. Because
doctor Tungue, a mad scientist, creates and unleash various monsters
in suburban areas, which prompts Zeke and Julie to combat
(15:09):
them with unconventional weaponry, which we certainly were able to
grab some of that unconventional weaponry. I think the most
annoying that we encountered were the clowns that you throw
behind you. And these giant blow up clowns show up
and they're decoys essentially, but they make the same like
(15:29):
laughing noise over and over all in sync with each other,
and it's very irritating.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
And you have like fifty of them, so your power
ups that you pick up carry on to the next level.
So we were in the h this does your health. Yes,
so we're in the grocery store. You pick up the clowns,
and I believe the strategy as you're supposed to pick
those up and take them with you to the next
level because the next level after that is the one
(15:55):
where the chainsaw guy chases you, so you can use
them to kind of block the chainsaw guy's path to you.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah. As so I died while you were playing that level,
so you were playing it by yourself. But I did
notice how cool it was that there were sections you
couldn't get to, but as the guys with the chainsaw
chased you, they opened up those sections by busting through
the wall like the kool aid man, and then you
were able to backtrack and you were able to do
those like little shortcuts.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
That's what I mean when I say like it's there's
a little puzzle aspect to it. That it is it's
more than just like a top down shooter kind of thing,
Like there's there's like this like puzzle maze aspect to
it that adds another lay layer of challenge.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yeah, Plus there's keys that you pick up to enter
different doorways, health packs, potions that turn you into like
these big monsters. Super speed, yeah, super speed. Different weapons
like there's a water gun, a bazooka flamethrower, soda cans
that kind of like explode, a Martian bubble gum, and
they each I said, bubble gum, my ment bubble gun.
(17:01):
They each do something different, and you kind of have
to figure out the balloons. Yeah, you have to figure
out like where you are for like the trajectory of
your throw, because the regular gun you're with it's pretty
solid and you could just pew pew pew. But if
you have limited ammos, yeah, limited ammo. If you don't
pick it up and say you get like the soda cans,
(17:21):
now you have to like back up a little bit.
Throw the soda can. It takes a little longer, the
weird trajectory of it and all that. So you have
to be a little strategic here.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
It's true. It's very very true. You have to pick
and plan your your movement throughout throughout the levels very
I mean not ahead of time, because obviously there's a
first time when you play it, but the more that
you play it, the more that you understand it. I mean,
this is a game that also utilizes passwords, so you
can go back to specific levels and yeah, you kind
(17:55):
of you can kind of use that to your advantage.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
There's actually something about that in the did you Know?
But I'm going to wait to share, but it is
there now. I'm reading here that in the sn S
version there's a flamethrower, which is not included in the
Mega Drive version. So you played this on Sega right, not.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
As Sega Genesis.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
So I forgot that you had both.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
So it was a it was a I didn't have both.
I had the Supernintendo and then my grandfather had so
I would go and see them, and he wasn't playing
the golf game. There was there was like so this
is where you get it from. Ye, I can't wait
(18:40):
till we're old and we're just like put on the
wrestling game. I want to play the wrestling game.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Like my I remember going to my great grandfather's house,
who at the time had to be so old and
I was really young, and he had I think it
was an eight track player, and I always wanted to
like put music on. But then when they finally got
it work and I was like, I don't want to
listen to any edition.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
But it was just want to listen to thet I
want to listen to my music on that.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
I think I played the songs that I know as
I was little that it was like a video game system,
like an Atari or something, because I mean, look, you're
popping these cartridges into this thing. That's all I knew.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Because you said that you had you have like played
an Atari, like we talked about it last episode. Was
it was it you or was it sport that said
that they knew something that of the Atari?
Speaker 3 (19:25):
My dad I believe has one, but it never hooked up,
Like I never played it. I've played the plug and
play one. Obviously. He had the Callego vision that we
used to play all the worked when he brought out
this like bulky little TV that was black and white.
He would pop it on his work bench in the
back room of my basement and that's where we would
(19:47):
play like the Circus game and all that. And I
still remember like the noise that game used to make. Oh,
that was so much fun.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Do you remember the days of like having the cable
that would come out of the god you need like
the converter. You'd have the cable that comes out of
X and the console, and then you'd have to put
it into the converter, and then the converter would split
it into the three uh the three wires, or would
(20:14):
split it into the coax, depending on what your TV. Like.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
That prevented me from playing my brand new PS one
for at least like another two days because we didn't have.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I will I will never take for granted how easy
just hooking up an HDMI cable.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
Is so nice, because we I feel like.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
That's something that our generation, like people around our age
can appreciate it, and like even a couple of years older,
we're like, you, you know what it was to have
to run through like the cable converters and stuff. And
now it's just like the console has an AC adapter,
your TV has the HDMI. It's HDMI to HgI.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Yeah we're lucky. Hey, look at us. We're on a PC.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yeah, that's very true, played it on a PC.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
But all right, we are going to take a quick
little break and we're gonna come back. We're gonna talk
about the r work in the graphics here.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
All right, John, let's talk about this artwork. So there
are two covers for this. There is the original cover,
which is the one that I know, and I would
think that if you are familiar with this game, this
is the cover that you think of. It is the
very retro b horror movie esque. It's got the spiral background.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
It's bargain horror movie.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Ah, but it we say it a lot with the
wrestling gates. It leaves no doubt as to what this is.
In big words on the front, zombies ate my neighbors.
It's got zombies on the cover. It's got like the
generic horror shock face of a woman in the lower right.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
It's got the twenty three twenty four YouTube cover photo
for every single person that does a reaction video face,
that's what.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
We should have done for the thumbnaw. We should have
recreated this horror face. Either that or we both should
have tried to be zombies.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Done that.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Yeah, we'll say that that's zombie John. Uh. But uh.
There's the alternative cover that was released limitedly for the
Super Nintendo. It is more cartoonish and it's uh it's
I honestly think that it makes it makes Zeke look
a lot older than I always thought that he was like,
(22:36):
in my head, these are like teenagers. Yeah, so that
they were kids, but in this portrayal, it doesn't make
him look like teenager. That he looks like like some
guy in his twenties.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Yeah. And it's got a blatant ripoff of like the
Creature from the Black Lagoon with like where thing Yeah
yeah where wolves zombies zombies are pretty cool looking. Actually
this is cool.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Say the zombie looks better here than it does on
the original one. I will give this this version that.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Even a different logo though, which is kind of weird.
Sometimes they would keep the logo and just change the artwork.
But I like cal that one's actual, like real people
the original cover, but then this one is like a
really nice illustration of it.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Oh yeah, it doesn't. It's not bad, it's just the
other one is the one that I'm used to. So
when I saw this, uh doing research for this week's episode,
I was like, this is weird, And then obviously going
through the notes I saw it again, I was like,
I gotta we gotta talk about this one because it
is so different and it's not the one like when
(23:42):
you to me, when I think of this game, this
is I think of the horror movie posteresq one. I
don't think of the illustrator one.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Yeah, now here this kind of confirms it. On the
back says, what are two wholesome teenagers doing in a
sixteen bit game like this? Trying to save the nice
neighbors cheerly and babies from a fate worse than polyester.
I like this bat cover. It's pretty cool. It's got
screenshots at little quips like that. So the neighbors are
just dying to meet you. Who would put this slice
(24:14):
of suburbia in such a goose pimpling hysteria? Zombies, relentless
chainsaw maniacs, mummies, evil dolls that just won't die, lizard men, blobs, vampires,
giant ants, martians, and more. Fifty five horror filled levels
like a grocery store gone mad, a shopping mall, aray,
a mysterious island in your own backyard. Now, this screenshot
(24:37):
here shows a football field.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I was just gonna say, I we didn't. We didn't
get to it in our playthrough because we both spoiler,
we both die. But man, I forgot about that football level.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
So here's an obscure Java game that I'm not sure
you've ever played Do you ever hear of voodoo football?
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Does sound from the I may not have played it,
but I I maybe I knew people who did, or
it was shown to me.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
It doesn't exist, I think I have. It doesn't exist
anymore other than screenshots. But it reminds me of this,
and I'm wondering if it was kind of taken from
this a little bit. But the premise is pretty much,
it's a football field and you try to score a touchdown.
But as you're trying to score, like every move you make,
the zombies come towards you or like go a different direction,

or more emerge, so you have to like strategically with
every move trying to get to them.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
It's called the Voodoo Bowl football.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Let's see voodoo football. Yeah, that's it, Voodoo Bowl Football.

So you have to like make your way around and
get the touchdown. But that's the first thing I thought
of when I saw this level. There's zombies on it
and it's a football field, so.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
It makes sense.

Let's talk about the graphics here for a sixteen bit adventure.
It looks really really nice. It's very colorful, everyone's very detailed,
like the zombies. There's no question that there's zombies, the ghosts,
the chainsaw men, everything we've mentioned. With some Nintendo games,
they didn't know the limitations, maybe like a Mario and
(26:27):
then you get to Super Mario World and it's a
little different. It's a little better Super Mario two and
three and all that. This one here, I think everything
they pretty much knock it out of the park. My
favorite thing on it is the little map you get
on the right side of the screen that shows you
who to save. It's not necessarily a drawn out map
like you would see today. It's kind of like a
(26:49):
I guess, like a little radar map with little blips
on it. But I thought that was very unique. And
each character has their own health bar and it shows
you what weapon they're using and what power up, so
what more do you need?
Speaker 2 (27:01):
And as as you progress through the game, you'll see
more and more like the environments get more and more detailed,
and the enemies get more and more detailed. Like you
know you brought up the football field. On the football
field is a it's aliens. So there's a giant spaceship,
and that giant spaceship looks like that. UFO is so
(27:25):
detailed and the shading on it is so nice. And
while the zombie sprites themselves can get a little repetitive
because there's just the one they're not bad. If it
was one bad sprite and it just repeated itself over
and over again, you can be like, okay, this is
this is getting.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
You don't think of it. You're just the zombies.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
And there's like an animation when they pop up out
of the ground, and they their speed changes based on
how they you know, when they spot you and approach you.
So there's there's things that make it feel not as competitive.
But you touched, I mean you hit the nail on
the head. There's so much detail in the environments and

the characters themselves. It's a very very colorful game, and
it is very not immersive, I don't think is the
right word, but it's a very visually appealing game. As
you play through, the levels in the world change because
not all levels are outside, not all levels are inside.
(28:31):
There's a nice mix. It never feels like super repetitive
in the sense that you always feel like you're on
Like we've talked about it, we've played games like this before,
and we've talked about it in the past on the
podcast at You know, a game can be super, super fun,
but if you always feel like you're playing the same
level and every world feels the same, it kind of
(28:51):
takes you out of the progression of the game. You're
kind of just like, oh, I feel like I'm in
the same world again. Like I feel like we talked
about with one of the the Game Boy Advance WWE
games or maybe like Betrayal or something where we're just like,
you kind of always feel like you're in the same world.
I can't remember what game it was exactly that we
spoke that we spoke about in that context, but this

does not have that issue. Everything feels very feels different
in its own way, even if it's you know, two
back to back outside levels.

And it had the really cool intro screen with the
title of each level that resembled like the intro to
a horror movie.

So yeah, they really they really nailed that motif of
of dealing with all things horror and uh it, I
don't know it's and it's wrapped up in this pretty
little uh sn E s Sega Genesis visual package.

The developer wanted to include a battery save in the game,
but was unable to to do as they couldn't afford it.

Supers version of Zombies eight My Neighbors was re released
for the Wei Virtual console. In May of twenty twenty one,
the game ended seqel Google Patrol were announced for the
Nintendo Switch, PlayStation four, Xbox One, and Windows.

Did you know? This game is on eBay for twenty
eight dollars cartridge only, fifty dollars complete, one hundred and
twelve for the variant cover, and three hundred and ninety
nine dollars sealed.

That is a pricey one that is not terrible, but
kind of crazy. Twenty eight dollars for the cartridge only.
I'm sure there's some cheaper ones there, but that was
pretty much like the average of what I found.

I always find. I'm always very fascinated, and I feel
like now that we're doing more than just wrestling, we'll
see more of this. The sealed prices and I'm sure
we'll see more graded copies of games and get those prices.
But it's happened sporadically on the podcast, but sealed versions

of popular titles on the Genesis and Nintendo and snees.

Yeah, it's just crazy. Like I remember going to probably
the way you found this. I remember going to the

and I remember grabbing Blades of Steel and Double Dribble
the basketball game, which was so hard, and they were

was allowed to get them. What, oh Man, blade of Steel.

it here since I brought it up. What do you
think the first sports we should play is? Like, should

I feel like it just to be something like that.
I don't want to just start cycling through like Maddens
and stuff. If we do, it would have to be like, right,
like the the Big Ones, maybe Madden like O two
because it was the first one on like the Xbox.

I would love to do like Hits and Blitz and
Donner and Blitzen and comments. Yeah, oh yeah, we got

game at all. I think he played it once and
that was it. Couldn't figure out the controls. But all right,

Game Rankings with an overall of eighty five point five percent,

colorful and detailed graphics have been praised, as well as
it's soundtrack, which Sebler that's Mike Si Sebler of Sega
sixteen called an homage to the Spooky over the top
music found in old scary flicks. Now, mind you, some
of these are ratings based on the re release, but

it is pretty much the exact same game. So yeah,
if you like everything we were talking about, if you
go check out our playthrough and you like this game,
you don't have to go through an emulator. Just head

I think yes, Steam has the two pack. It's Zombies
and My Neighbors and Google Patrol. I think it's like

the save feature, and then it does say something about

just local or if they also edited online co op.

You can now save and suspend your game at any moment.
It does say multiplayer family sharing, oh, it actually says
single player.

Well, the original is co op two player mode. Play
the game with two player local co op.

Okay, so it maintains the standard of the original console
release of local co op does not have online, but
with the use of PARSEC or other means, maybe it's
got seen remote play, you can most likely get it
to work. But John, it is now time for us

I knew literally next to nothing about this game going
into today other than the research I did for the episode.
Playing this game, I think I said out loud, or
at least said to myself multiple times, this is not
a bad game at all. This is actually a lot
of fun. Now, I did think the co op was
a little wonky. How you said how we have to

follow each other and go yeah, step by step literally
like next to each other. Otherwise it's miserable. Like I
could just imagine handing the controller to my sister when
I was younger and just getting mad at her because
she wasn't following me. But with that, I'm gonna say
play it forever based on just the the play through,
the research, and I would like to give this another go,

And this could be like a stream game. Even this
is a lot of fun.

Oh, it's a player forever for me. I picked this game,
of course. I knew that. No, I purposely picked a
game that I didn't like so that we could both
future endeavor. No, this is a game that not only
I enjoyed as a kid, I think I may even
enjoy it more now to go back and play it
by myself, which is the way that I was used

to playing this game. Once, my grandfather would get frustrated
and be like, I don't know what I'm doing, and
he would get up and walk away. He would sit
and watch, but he would get frustrated with the cameras
and then he would he would get he would get
attacked by the zombies. Yeah, but I played this game
a lot single player, and so to go back this
week and play a lot of nostalgia and I do

think that it is one of those games that holds
up graphically and also as a single player game and
a multiplayer game. We usually try here, it's been a
while since we talked about this. We try not to
base our ratings off of how fun it is to
play the game with each other on the podcast, because
doing this podcast is inherently fun even when the games

are bad, so we try to leave that out. But
this game was fun to play with, you know, cousins
and family members back in the day. It was fun
to play with John for the play through this, and
it's also fun to dive in.

You know how they always have those like the bulldozer
things that they put on the front of trucks zombie movies.
Like if you can have a handheld the version of

you can push on wheels to like clear a path.

That's true. I was actually watching the new The Daryl
Dixon Show and he was trying to teach a kid
how to play baseball who's never even heard of it
because he lived in France and you know, zombie outbreak
and he was using like this random baseball he found
and a table leg, like a solid wood table leg
table back. I was like, Oh, you know what, that's
like a quidditch bloodger, like you could just beat someone

with that.

What about uh, like a hockey stick is really good?

Oh yeah, Casey Jones and bitches.

Yeah. I'm trying to think like like things that are
just like heavy, like pieces of rebar, like the things
that you you could just like want, Like you walk
down the street in a city and they're doing like, uh,
you should like grab a piece of scaffolding or something like.

It's just like, yeah, that's what I'm saying. A big
ass piece of metal that's just sharp will shive anything

Well I'm trying to think of something that's that's that's
a little bit closer to the records from Sharing of
the Dead because that one that is a great scene
and two it is a very great like would the
equivalent be nowadays? You would walk into like a like
a like a like CDs. You would just do it
with CDs?

Yeah, why not? I mean because you like.

Snap a CD. It gets like a sharp edge.

Easier to store because they're smaller, smaller, maybe some like
GameCube discs.

Oh there you go. Whatever, you use two controllers as

Could do that. So there used to be a grand
theft auto PSP hack or whatever. You a mod that
your weapons were actually like a PSP and it would
just shoot UMDs out.

Oh yeah, there was a there was a code. They
were a spring load it.

So maybe you could just shoot some UMDs at people.

Good. I think my final answer I'm going with tying
video game controllers together and using there was non trucks.
