You know, I'm winning Rome.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
He's gonna be rom call us. Let's fight about it.
Two four zero fifty four eighty. Now here's John Alis
and Trey Polly Walnut's Falco.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, Bevy, we are here live in the Inglile Studios
downtown Greenville. On what our good friend Xavier Legette would
call one of them days out here weatherwise, we have
a weather weather.

Speaker 8 (01:19):
Boys, a little bit of a little bit of a
run and been running on on one.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
That's exactly what it is.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
You out there, a little cold, Uh, lots of clouds
is left their best time here.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It's football weather maybe, yeah? Is it's game on.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It's a football Tuesday. Good to be with you got
a jam Pack show. It's a ninety minute special today
because the game Cocks are playing a little bit of basketball.
It's six thirty tonight, so we'll be off the air
right there at six thirty. But until then you're stuck
with us. Sorry, a lot of football today. We got
Dalton Wassonman coming up from Pro Football Focus in about
ten minutes, right at five fifteen. He's gonna stop by

(01:53):
give us a little flavor what he thinks will happen
tonight in the who the Mysterious College Football Playoff ranking review? Oh,
I hope how they count that thing down with the
slow music? Yeah, number twenty four, number twenty three, Yeah, exactly,
And we're gonna find out tonight Who's ranked where and
how many people will be outraged? And keeping a close

(02:15):
eye on Notre Dame, of course, among other teams out there.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
We'll such name. Also got your quarterback half back, not
your name.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
We'll see what happens there. Big question of today is
brought to you by our friends at Ingles Markets, Low prices,
Love the Savings. Who is the coach of the year
in the NFL? Right now? Who is the NFL coach
of the year? Who has done more with less this season?
My tom two four zero five four eight zero.

Speaker 9 (02:41):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Speaking of the Steelers, Oh, they're making some moves man.
Oh yeah, it's crunch time. They are trading one old
head in for another, as they have released Darius Slay,
who the corner who came and saw and then went
He's like, you know, I gave it a few months
and team decided not that's not it.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
They have picked up Adam Thielen off of waivers, stealing
was let go by the Vikings.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
There you go, don't laugh yet.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Your Steelers need something to spark the passing game. They
have DK Metcalf and a bunch of guys that don't
really know how to be on the same page with
Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
The question is will they run enough two wide receiver
sets to get Dealing on the field?

Speaker 10 (03:25):
They got, you got, you gotta change something up. I'm
of that philosophy that what they're doing right now isn't working.
And I see a lot of a lot of Steels
fans on Twitter like, oh God, wait, yeah, another washed
wide receiver. Look, Dealing can still run a route and
he can damn good route runner. And that's something that
I think that we need there at Pittsburgh and sets
them apart from DK who's really good deep threat. Go

(03:45):
down and get the vertical, get feeling across the middle
of the field. He's got hands, he knows how to
use them. Put the ball in his hands and you
get those chunk yards.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
If they're going to use Adam Thielen, they're going to
have to start using the middle of the field because
that's where he gets his work. Does Maybe it's Omar
Hahn's way of saying, look, Mike Arthur, you're gonna have
to use the middle of the field.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Now, this is what Dylan's got too.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
He can he can burn you on the perimeter, but
he's thirty six. I think years old. Now they might
be the oldest team in football when you average the age.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Tell you that they.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Looked between Cam Hayward and Aaron Rodgers getting just buried
into the ground by Joe. I still say not a
lot of people are talking about it. That was one
of those hits that reminded me of something from the
nineteen eighties. Yeah, old school football where I'm like, I
don't know if this guy is gonna get up. Yeah,
well we'll see. Oh the uh Patriots. In terms of

(04:39):
coaches that have done more with less, they absolutely laid
waste to Jackson Dart, who needs to learn how to
not take that extra hit or two or three every
game thirty three fifteen.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Was the kicker. I guess, oh, wow.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
They do need that. That was you, young Waykou, who,
by the way, used to kick for the Falcons. Yep, yep,
I have never seen that in my life. In honor
of not only Thanksgiving but also the holiday season, Yeah,
he pulled a real life Charlie Brown.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
In terms of the kicking.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
He completely He must have been a foot in front
of that ball where his toe stubs the turf and
then he just stops. He's like, look, bro, I don't know.
In the long stepper gets it to the holder. The
holder is like.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Good thing that wasn't in met life because he that
had been career.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Ending that turf, that turf would have his foot would
come up if you tated that foot red on the spot.
Look who's in the house with us now as scheduled
as we talked about last night on social media, it's
our good friend. Even though it's not the weekend. Baby,
it's action Jackson.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
What's going on? Man? What's happening?

Speaker 3 (05:54):
John?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Good?

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Have you?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 11 (05:57):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I took a wrong turn getting late, so every day
I take wrong turns with excited to get it. I'm
like the best return. I'm like, the hell am I going?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
That's good?

Speaker 1 (06:10):
It's all good.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
You're here with an invite. Oh as always? Man, Your
your dolphins are surgic. Man, dolphins ever said we saw
you last time? They were sort of down there in
the bottom of the conference.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
That they're they're they're still in the hunt.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Man.

Speaker 12 (06:23):
Let me tell you. I was watching this game Sunday
not I could not get excited. I couldn't get excited.
I'm like, okay, all right, let it go.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
All right, and then of course to what end of
the game. You know, here come to Saints.

Speaker 12 (06:39):
Of course the ain'ts on making a move like you
gotta be freaking it ain't over.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Imagine imagine being in the stands against the Saints as
we were a couple of weeks ago, and they do
that to you at the beginning of the game and
you can't dig your way out of a hole against
this team that had won one game all year. You
got the dub and hey, you know two is playing
a little better.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
He had that one pick. Golf man, that's leading the
league in interception.

Speaker 12 (07:03):
He's got a lot of them, man, thirteen yeah, fourteen, yeah,
because he was tied there last week and he's I'm good.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
I don't know what's going on. I don't know, but.

Speaker 12 (07:13):
Man, it's just the teams we should beat we can
barely beat. And then you know, the games that you
think we got it should have a chance of winning,
we can't pull out.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah. It's been that way for the whole league this year.
It's the parody that's that's going on right now. It's unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Pans.

Speaker 12 (07:30):
You would have never thought that the Panthers would be surging,
and the Chiefs are like, oh my god, we can
are we going to make it?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
But the same way with Baltimore, we're gonna make it.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Same with Buffalo in a lot of ways.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yes, with Pittsburgh, now, yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Fine with you. Right, Let's uh head out to the
Ingles hotline before we welcome in Dalton Wasserman game on.
Welcome in.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Hey, yo, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Oh Tony?

Speaker 3 (07:57):
How you doing here? To nominate Nick Sirianni for Coach
of the Year, assuming.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Man, listen, listen. I can't wait till they get rid
of him, like you know, you guys, you guys know
I gave him a pass because they got the they
got the chip.

Speaker 8 (08:18):
But this is.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
Driving me insane, man.

Speaker 8 (08:21):
Like I can't believe what I'm seeing.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
The Eagles have been phenomenal for the past couple of years,
and to.

Speaker 8 (08:28):
Have two two games losing streaks in one season, if
that don't.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Tell you something's going on. And then every time I
look to him, because he's the head coach, his answers
are just you know, I don't even know what he's
talking about, Like, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta try
something different, man, You gotta make an adjustment here or there,
like you got you got tank Bigsby looking looking like
he got a little juice in the tank. You know.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
You see all these other teams, like like the Bearars
for example. He got to a close and personal view
of Swift and this little fun.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Guy remember that guy, you know, and they slash in
this almost three hundred yards.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I think got that.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
You goton struggling and you're not doing anything. You're not
trying to throw anybody else. They ran eighty offensive plays
on us.

Speaker 8 (09:22):
Yeah, they're all like forty or fifty.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
That's that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
It is crazy to Tony. There's a real problem with
their offense structurally.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Man.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
It's look, you've got some players on that team that
are so good and look it's empty calories. When aj
Brown goes for one hundred and thirty yards and they
lose by nine points, doesn't matter to me. What they
need to be doing is what they're best at me.
And you know what their offensive line. I'm I know
they're down some people, but I'm just tired of hearing it.
Because they have Jeff Stoutlin, they're so well coached in

(09:51):
that department. But I think there's a real disconnect between
what Sirianni and Patula are doing in terms of no
prestat motions, nothing to window dress anything up. It's just
like here, here's our slop. Here are good people preparing
our slop, go make the best slop in America, and
they're just not doing it this year. It's and they're
still right there in the division lead. But you know football,

(10:14):
you know bull as well as anybody man. You know
that it's just not sustainable the way they're doing it.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Listen, you know, you know, you guys know me. I
love talking jump. I've been talking junk to the Cowboys fans,
and all of a sudden they got life. Yes, you know,
like I love talking junk. You know, nothing disrespectful. It's
all fun and games. You know, like there's nothing disrespectful.

Speaker 8 (10:38):
But I love talking junk to Cowboys fans and getting
it back vice versa.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
But a couple of weeks ago they had the dagger
to their throat and now all of a sudden, they
they you know what is they like six and five
now two games.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Back in, they're right there.

Speaker 8 (10:56):
It looks like it's possible. And the way that the
body language, you know, I'm a kind of excuse because
the defense got manhandled again.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
But I don't blame them too much.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
Because, like I was telling my nephew a little while ago,
when you're when the.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Offense if you look up. I don't know how how
much you guys follow the Eagles, because I know, you know,
everybody likes to Still Lives and you like the Panthers.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
I don't know how you watch it.

Speaker 13 (11:20):
All these guys are going three and out, three and out,
three and outs.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
They lead the league in three and now how is
that possible with that talent that's the coach, that's the coach.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Well, and you when you when you stay in long
distance situations, when you get into second down, that leads
to longer third downs, that leads to limitation on their
signature play on third and short, which is the toush push,
and that has been a lethal weapon.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
And I'm like, I'm tired of that too, because it's
just they're banking so much on it. I need creativity, man.
We you know, we got we got Davonte Smith who
in college was all over the field and the rounds
in the slide, Like the potential is there, Like what

(12:14):
is going on? They John Trey and Jackson. Right, they
had their three starting linebackers and their first guy off
the bench out of the game, and they did nothing
with it.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Nothing.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
They did nothing with it in a way, in a way,
I hope they collapsed, because that would be the only
way to excuse by Iron.

Speaker 8 (12:46):
Syrianni is impectable win record.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
It doesn't matter John, it doesn't make He's not capable.
I can't wait. I can't wait for this Hard Knocks
because I really want to see, Yes, what is he doing?

Speaker 3 (13:03):
I hope they show everything. I hope they show a
J Brown going to the bookstore. I hope they show
it all. Tony, we gotta we got a guest coming
up here. You can call us back in a little.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
Bit here, we'll be here to yes, sir, Hey Fellers,
been talking to you.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I have fun you to hang in there. I know
it's been a tough go for the Eagles. Just keep surviving, Tony,
I actually agree with him, it's not sustainable with this coach.
Not Let's bring in Dalton Wasson in p f F
dot Com to join us here in a few short minutes,
we're joined by Action Jackson here in studio. It's Trey
Faco John its game on run after.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
This, this is game on on one O four nine
Fox Sports up State.

Speaker 13 (13:59):
Such, I ain't seen nothing you down and then you
show chang ways.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
I'm not a chant A really young beat all the
times a little Sislaa cousin as the little she.

Speaker 8 (14:12):
Is a like this.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Oh yeah, game on rolls on.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
It's a football Tuesday, our favorite kind of Tuesday. As
the football Tuesdays are winding down here all of the sudden, men,
we're in the month of December. Uh, the NFL calendar
is starting to dwindle down. We're getting into crunch time
though for the playoffs. Yeah, and the scene can be
said for college football. It's championship week. As rivalry Week
has come and gone, so it's Lane Kiffing week. Apparently

(14:36):
we survived. We all survived that, and now we can
forget it. Ever happened.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Really surprised at what he did. There are some people
who surprised that he away.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
He did not a bit knock the day and age,
not not with n I L and the portal and
all the timing of everything to help us break that
down from pro football focus. For her, good friend Dalton
Wasson Dalton. Uh, let's just get right to it with
with the lane kiff and saga. What's your general takeaway
from his decision, the timing of it, And let me

(15:06):
ask you about the calendar. What do we have to
do to fix college football where the calendar makes sense
for these guys.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
I mean, the problem with fixing is it's really tough because.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
You still talk about for as much as we don't think.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
About it as much anymore, it's still an academic calendar too,
right when you talk about, okay, the portal being in
the beginning of January and guys having to get admitted
to schools and all that, and I think that throws
the biggest wrench in And as far as.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
You know, I think a lot of people would like
the portal window.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
And even signing day pushback even later than you know,
and signing day used to be in February now it's
in December. But everything to be pushed back later and
for coaches.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
You know, have to have a way to go and
take new jobs.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Later in the calendar. The problem is is the timing
of it all with schools and everything like that is
as the guy still being student athletes, even if it
is less than.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Ever at this point, so I'm not really sure what
the fix is.

Speaker 7 (15:53):
Eventually, I do think they could, you.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Know, they could try to push.

Speaker 7 (15:55):
The portal back and make some new rules as far
as hiring coaches so early in the season.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
But it is tough, man, It's really.

Speaker 7 (16:01):
Tough to figure out what the ideal solution is because
it seems always just be about money anyway.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Yeah, it is. He'll be at LSU f until he
decides he doesn't want to be there. And I think,
as cow Hurt said today and other people said it,
the next top will be the NFL. That's ultimately where
we're heading with Lane Kiffin. But for right now, LSU
has Lane Kiffin and will continue to talk about that
as much as we need to over the next year.
So let's get back to the games here, and obviously
rivalry weekend down here in the Carolina is obviously a

(16:27):
couple of teams that will not be contending in the
playoffs this year, but a strong finish for Clemson and
for Kate Klubnik in his final regular season game as
a Clemson Tiger getting a big win. Talk about that
team a little bit, and then the future of Leonora Sellers,
Does he stay in South Carolina? Does he stay in college?
Which I think he should just size that.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
All up for us.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
I think as far as Clemson goes, it was a
good finish.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
To a year that you know, ultimately really was really disappointing.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
That's the team that a national championship expectations, and good
for them to beat a rival obviously in the final week.
And I think you're talking about Davos Sweeney now having
to rebuild a roster with I would expect a lot
of guys to go in the draft, especially between Clubnick
and the defensive side of the ball. Peter would, TJ Parker,
Avion Torell, guys like that.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
So they're gonna have a young team next year.

Speaker 7 (17:11):
And right he believes and player attention and building things
from within, So you're gonna go back to a little
bit of square one here. And then as far as
Sellers goes, I fully expect him to stay. Oh I
don't know about fully expect, because he's you know, the
scouts are gonna love his tools and all everything like that.
In this quarterback class isn't quite as sick as we thought.
But I think he should say I'm with you it
sounds like he's gonna stay at South Carolina if he does,
because it seems like Shane Biemer is having him help

(17:33):
out with the offensive coordinator search now.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
So if he does stay in college, and if.

Speaker 7 (17:37):
He's not going to get a first round grade from
the scouts, then I think he stays in South Carolina
one more year.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Yeah, what if Kiffin gets him? That's what we said yesterday.
What Wlane Kiffin lands Lenora sill Is. I don't see
that happening. I think he stays foot But that'll be
the intrigue of the next few weeks. Here as college
football is in the middle of a chaotic portion of
their season, with the College Football Playoff rankings again revealed tonight.
I ask you every week do you expect any surprises,
any head scratching, any outrageous moments where we're all becoming

(18:04):
in here? Mart say, and how could that happen?

Speaker 5 (18:07):
I don't think so.

Speaker 7 (18:08):
Today, when you have everybody in the top ten winning
except for Texas A and M, and they won't drop
outside the top six or seven, I don't think any
big surprises.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
The big question is going to be the order in
the teams and how high Texas jumps.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Now.

Speaker 7 (18:20):
I would not have them ahead of Miami. I don't
think they're a playoff team with that lost to Florida
that they have, But they are going to move ahead
of Vanderbilt Tech. I think in probably Utah they'll be
somewhere in that for all the thirteen range, I think.
And then I'm curious about the group of five potential
rankings on the back end Dulane has already ranked. You
had every team from nineteen to twenty three loose this week.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
That's a big.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
Situation between Tulane and North Texas and James Madison happening
with that playoff spot or maybe with an chaos two
playoff spots.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Dalton, are you in the wing of Lane Kiffin's plane
right now?

Speaker 5 (18:52):
I wish I would take a cut of that ninety
million dollars for sure.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Some good ambience behind you, man, I love it, Dalton
Wasserman's our guests from Pro Football Focus. I love the
story about Juice Kipping the poor dog that get left fine.
Let's just this story had everything Marty Smith going off
road to get the interview. Okay, NFL, let's pivot back
to the National Football League. I know you do a
lot of work on the NFL there. For PFF and
the Carolina Panthers, it's been a crazy season, not just

(19:19):
for them, but the entire league. I don't think anybody present,
company included, had this team staying in contact with this
RAMS team that we figured was the best and still
could be the best team in the league right now.
But what a performance by Carolina running the ball, shortening
the game and obviously Bryce Young making big plays on
fourth down.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
For sure, it just feels I don't know the last
time I've seen a team really oscillate between really good
and really bad when you look at some of the
wins and losses that team has.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
But at the end of the day, they're going to.

Speaker 7 (19:47):
Go as Bryce Young goes.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
The defense is better than last year.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
I wouldn't call it spectacular, but it is better. And
you know, Bryce, when he's throwing the ball downfield with confidence,
he looks really good and that offense looks really good.
I think it was good for them to get Jalen
Kulker a lot more involved this week alongside Tenero McMillan
with the winning touchdown, But.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
They just need to find consistency.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
I think that's what Dave Canallis is going to talk
about going into this by week.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Okay, guys, we clearly.

Speaker 7 (20:09):
Have the potential to beat anyone in football.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
We got to stack good weeks back to back, two, three,
four in a row. If they could do that for
their last four games, I might win that division.

Speaker 7 (20:16):
But it's going to be a matter of consistency and
finding that for them.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
And just to be in that position in the first place,
I think is a big win for this team. I
don't think they'll lose out. I don't think they'll win out,
but somewhere in between feels about right. The rest of
the NFL is just hard to figure out right now.
Big win for the Patriots last night. But let's go
back to Thanksgivin. Obviously, you've got a couple of teams
in Dallas that are in Kansas City that are going
in different directions right now. Let's focus on the Chiefs

(20:40):
for a minute. They're at six and six. Offensively, they're
better right now than they were last year in the
passing game, but boy, defensively, they're just having trouble, especially
when they blitz man. They're just not getting people off
the field right now.

Speaker 7 (20:53):
No, they're not getting a pass rush at all. Right,
Chris Jones is obviously still very good. George Carloftis gets
a decent amount of pressure, but beyond that, and the
blitzes aren't working as well. They're not getting any pressure
on quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
You saw it last week.

Speaker 7 (21:04):
Steve Spagnolill tried everything to get pressure on Dak Prescott,
and Prescott was beating them to the punch their receivers
or beating them to the punch. And look, they got
a really good secondary, but there's only.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
So long you can hold up. And now the Chiefs are.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
In a position where, honestly, I think this week against
the Houston Texans Sunday night, this is their season.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
If they lose this game, I think.

Speaker 7 (21:20):
This is finally the final nail in the coffin because
they'll lose every tie breaker. There's only four games left,
they'll be six and seven. I think they have to
win this game this week and find a way.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
To pressure c. J. Stroud in this game to get
a win and save the season.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
And we have mocked Dallas and we will continue to
do so on this show, win or lose, but boy,
they have turned it around, and give a lot of
credit to Jerry Jones, give a lot of credit to
Brian Schottenheimer and his staff, and obviously Prescott. That offense
is cooking, But defensively they're strong up to Meddle. Now
you know they signed the linebacker Logan Wilson, they bring
in obviously Kenny Clark earlier this season, and then Quinn

(21:52):
Williams and suddenly you're facing the Lions team coming up
Thursday night in just a couple of short days. It
has a problem where inside, on the off offensive line,
everything's lining up really well for Dallas, with Philly struggling
right now to maybe even make a run of that division.

Speaker 7 (22:07):
I think the biggest way, the biggest and the best
way I could say about the Cowboys right now is look,
don't let them win this week. If they win this week,
they've got a pretty good runway to the end of
the season. And you're talking about you mentioned that Quinn
Williams and that defensive line are a lot better. In fact,
since Week nine in our metrics, they're the highest graded
defensive line in the league by far, even better than
Cleveland and the Rams and some of those teams. The

(22:28):
Quinn edition has been fantastic. Matt Eberflus has made some
really good adjustments, especially.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
In the run game. And look, when you're playing.

Speaker 7 (22:34):
The Lions, if you can stop the run, you can
stop the Lions.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
That's how it works.

Speaker 7 (22:37):
Jared Goff is not going to carry them through those
hard moments like that. So the Cowboys do have a
real shot to go in there and win this game.
With both teams on a full week arrest, I think.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
They very well could get it done. And if they do,
they're fully in the mix for that.

Speaker 7 (22:48):
NFC at East Race and a playoff spot.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Dalton.

Speaker 10 (22:52):
Let's swap up over to Pittsburgh. There's this epidemic going on.
I think there's something in Alleghany, but it looks like
that entire organization is allergic to the field, which is interesting.
I mean, you think you bring in, maybe not there
Aaron Rodgers that he once was, but still, you know,
better quarterback play I think than we have had in
a few years. But still they cannot target the middle

(23:12):
of the field. How do we fix it?

Speaker 7 (23:16):
I'm not really sure at this point, to be honest with.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
You, I know, I know you hate to hear that,
but honestly, Aaron Rodgers wasn't he was he was afraid
to throw the ball over the middle of the field.

Speaker 7 (23:26):
Lacktison with the Jets right everything seems to be just
hitches and go routes on the outside.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
With not a whole lot of play action, and with
the broken.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
Wrist right now, he's not even comfortable really playing from
under center.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
And rolling out and doing all that at this point.
And this was the worst.

Speaker 7 (23:39):
Case scenario that could happen for the Steelers offense with Wilson.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
And Pickens last year and what they had throwing the ball.

Speaker 7 (23:44):
To the outside. They just look like an older, worst
version of that with Rogers and Metcalf.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
And I really now Rogerick Jones is out for the year.

Speaker 7 (23:51):
He's starting left tackle.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
I'm not sure what the solution is for that.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
Offense because basically.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
Every number I have tells me that they're a bottom.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
Eight offense in the league and that's probably not going
to change.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Cool, all right, you.

Speaker 10 (24:01):
Broke my heart with that. I need you to break
my heart again and just rip the bandaid off. How
plausible is it that the Bengals come through and win
this division.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
I think it's still a low likelihood. I can't say
it's just not a pulse.

Speaker 7 (24:15):
I mean, they still get to play the Ravens again.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
It's gonna be another one.

Speaker 7 (24:18):
Where if they find a way to go into Buffalo
this week and win that game, then I do think
we have a different conversation. But that's one of the
hardest tasks in football is to go into Buffalo and win.
But I'll say that Bengals secondary is playing better, and obviously.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
You know what you have Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase and
t Higgins. You have a chance to win any game
they've won there before.

Speaker 7 (24:35):
If they win this week, I think we have a
lot better conversation about that. And the result of that
Raven Steelers game this week is gonna be fun too.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
I think the biggest win for the Steelers last week
was the fact that Aaron Rodgers didn't die on the
field when Joey Bosa sat on him. My god, that
was some violence. That's a forty two year old man.
He turned forty two today, by the way, have youy birthday?
And now you got a thirty six year old Adam
Thielen coming on board. That's the oldest team I've seen
in a long time. Dalton. Let's wrap it here with
a question that we've been asking folks all week long

(25:03):
on this show. I'm putting you on the spot a
little bit, and it really could just be one of
those you just, you know, throw a dark blindfolded here
and see where it lands. The team you trust the
most in each conference right now to be there at
the end of the day, or do you do you
have a team in mind for its conference or is
it just too vague right now?

Speaker 5 (25:21):
How far? How far are we talking championship games?

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Just yeah, your final four?

Speaker 7 (25:25):
Maybe I'm still gonna say in the NFC, I'm actually
still going to say the Rams and the Eagles. And
the Eagles have some issues lately and we'll see if
they can turn it around a little bit on offense,
but their defense still keeps them in games and they
can find a way. They have enough talent they should
be able to get there. In the Rams, despite the
loss of the Panthers, I really think they lost that
game on turnovers, you know, and the Panthers just made

(25:46):
you know, the biggest all the biggest plays in that game.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
On the FC side, you know, I'm starting to really think.

Speaker 7 (25:51):
It's for the top two teams you see right now,
New England and Denver.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
Denver is so good in the trenches with their O
line and D line in New England.

Speaker 7 (25:57):
Man, it's just I know people have gotten on them
about a soft schedule, but they're playing dominant football and
Drake May looks awesome. Right.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
I think it really is right now those two teams
at the top that you trust the most, because for me,
it's hard to.

Speaker 7 (26:07):
Trust Buffalo's defense or Kansas City's inconsistency, or you know,
there's some other teams trying to get hot. But I
think we have to take the teams in the AFC
with the most wins right now.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I think you're right on with the AFC and the NFC.
Who knows. I mean, we'll see what happens with the
Lions the Cowboys coming up Thursday night. Dalton Wassaman Pro
Football Focus kind enough to stop buy on a football Tuesday.
Be well, my friend will talk next week.

Speaker 7 (26:28):
Absolutely appreciate you guys as always.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
There, he goes Dalton Wasserman, who is still an Egle believer.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
I mean, I guess when you look around the conference, guys,
I mean you'll start with you. Actually, I mean we
talked about this all day yesterday. I think the Patriots
last night in the AFC. On that side, they cemented
themselves as like, okay, you know what, the schedule has
been solved, but this is what you do to bad teams. Yeah,
thirty three to fifteen was the final. They were hitting hard.

(26:54):
Drake May is incredible on the deep ball right now.
And they are two to zero against playoff qualifiers right now.
So there's that, and they're in your division. Do you
see that team is like right there with Denver as
the best or is there another team lurking underneath the surface.
It's like, ah, the Bills will be there at the end.

Speaker 12 (27:10):
And I'm not sure about the Bills right at this moment,
but yeah, Patriots and Denver many they are looking like
they're about to seal it up. I mean they look good.
They do look good.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
I mean it's, uh, we.

Speaker 12 (27:26):
Hadn't got We're not over the Patriot fatigue from Brady era.
And then here we go again, with say a long
suffering Dolphins fan over, here we go again, and so
you know, no, they look good, man. I mean, the
coaches come in and he's got the He's the only

(27:46):
Belichick disciple that's been successful, right right, you know, And
then he comes back home and is just as successful,
you know, and then he's not.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Even a direct disciple.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
He never coached under BELICHICKI played he was with Bill
O'Brien done in Houston.

Speaker 12 (28:04):
But that makes it even better. I mean, you know,
he's the ultimate player coach.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Man and and what if he's got it going on
in New England?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Man, sure marys and dates age appropriate to reasonable confidence,
Beila check with a fifty years split between himself and
his significant other.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
But hey, whatever makes you feel that's right, you know what.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
I am not here to But when you win four
games all year and she's down there on the field
pre game, he invited.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
The scrutiny, cheerlead, Yeah, that's right. But I'm bitch. He's happy,
I'm sure, and well paid everything Belichick is happy. He
may be winning.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Could have fooled me.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Looks like that, happy him looking like that.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
You know what.

Speaker 12 (28:51):
I wasn't used to when he was when he was
doing the media stuff last and all the personality was
who the.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Hell is this? I want prote.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
I mean, I jo but it was it was a
switch in the hand. Oh my gosh, better be check yourself.
Hit a brake.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
We'll get to your calls after this game on with
John Alice heard everywhere. I mean, iHeartRadio WI.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
Don You've got to let me know should I stay you?

Speaker 8 (29:40):
Should I go?

Speaker 1 (29:43):
If you say that you.

Speaker 11 (29:44):
Are mine, I'll be here til the end of time.
So you've got to let me know. Should I stay you,
should I go?

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Having a good time here at the football Tuesday thanks
to our good buddy Dalvin Wasserman from Pro Football Focus
and UH in studio with us our good friend Action Jackson.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
What's going on, Big John?

Speaker 3 (30:11):
I don't know, man, Midweek Action still got the mojo.
We usually get Friday Action, but we went Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
I know that I was shocked.

Speaker 12 (30:17):
I mean, I'm you know, I'm laying up in the bed,
you know, scrolling on the phone, and all of a
sudden Blue.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
I'm like, Hey, John, WHOA come on tomorrow. Hey, I'll
be I see you tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
We appreciate you, man, We always appreciate you, lending your
pipes and your knowledge and your insights.

Speaker 12 (30:33):
I don't know about knowledge, but uh, you got this.
It's just fun to share you ball. Come on, man,
I know a little bit. Come on now, I don't know.
I don't you know. I ain't on your level's dream.
I always said, if I got to a point where
I wasn't doing music radio, my next journey would be sports.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
Sports.

Speaker 12 (30:51):
We all want to I want to be like you though,
and talk strictly football. I don't know enough about basketball.
I know about the braids, but I don't know enough
about base all.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
You gotta fake it, You gotta think it till you
make it. Take it. You thinking it pretty good? You
thinking it real good? You really.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Couple week months boy and Junior July.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yeah, let's say it's a ninety five football in this show,
and we don't make any apologies for it, even in
the off season. That's a great thing about football.

Speaker 12 (31:19):
That's why I love your show because I know when
I can when I want football, which is pretty much
all the time. Yeah, you know, five o'clock, I tune
in and you're talking ninety percent of football, and that's
what I like.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I appreciate that, man, and we take a lot of
pride in and having a good time with you too.
Joining us now on the Ingles top line, our good
friend Rocky. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Bud? Hey, guys, all right, I'm I am calling in
about you, talking about uh before you about possible coach of.

Speaker 9 (31:48):
The Year, sure, yeah, uh so I will tell you
I got four here.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Uh John. And I'm gonna start with.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
If the Panthers can and win the NFC South.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
Division, if they're able to get there, because that's only
gonna get one team in. If they can do that,
I'm gonna say Dave Canalis is one nominee.

Speaker 7 (32:17):
Absolutely the year that he would have they would have
to do that.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
The next one is and I will tell you, I
don't know who the.

Speaker 6 (32:27):
OC in New England is or who Brable.

Speaker 9 (32:30):
God and has got Drake May playing like a freaking
All American.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
If they go Mike Grabel okay as coaches here. The
third is and he's been around for so many years
in New Orleans and whatever.

Speaker 9 (32:53):
But I'm just gonna say that, uh Sean Payton, I
want to throw him in there.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
That's that's the radar for me.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Yeah. Think they just assumed that Denver would you know,
be good? You can't assume anything. And in just a
couple of years time, he's had them in the playoffs
and then they're on their way again right now.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Well, and the last one I'm gonna say.

Speaker 9 (33:14):
Which is and that's Ben Johnson.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Ye yeh got go Bears.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
I don't know what he's whispering.

Speaker 9 (33:22):
And Caleb Williams, I mean he's probably telling him.

Speaker 5 (33:26):
You know, I don't need I need you.

Speaker 9 (33:28):
To manage the game for me, because the Bears have
had a good roster.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
They got a good roster.

Speaker 9 (33:36):
But I can see Ben Johnson just telling Caleb Williams,
I need you to manage the game for me.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
Yeah, I don't need you to win the.

Speaker 9 (33:45):
Game for me unless I tell you.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
It's it's the mistake a lot of coaches make when
they pick a guy number one overall. He saw it
with Bryce, and it's very similar to what Canalis has
done with Bryce consistently enough at least to where look
at twenty twenty five times the game. Let's let our
running game carry us, and Bryce and Caleb each still
have things to work on, so this is a good
place to have them develop. But I think Ben and

(34:11):
Dave both have done a great job emphasizing and accentuating
their strengths, which is their offensive line, their run game,
keep the pressure off the quarterback and let him hit
shot plays off of those run action concepts, and so
I think if I had to pick between your four.
Right now, Ben might be my leader in the clubhouse
because the Bears.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
Well, Ben's my leader in the clubhouse.

Speaker 9 (34:32):
John I mean, I think what he's done in Chicago
is because they I mean, as they didn't know what
the goal line looked like for a lot, they.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Did not know, you know, and now that they have,
I mean.

Speaker 9 (34:46):
Caleb Williams is a very talent. That dude runs left
and throws right.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
What the heck, yep, how the hell do you throw
those throws?

Speaker 9 (34:57):
And but that's kind of so you have an athletic
talent who's and now what you have to do is
just capsule it. And I I'm gonna help you be successful. Yeah,
all right, you just gotta.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Follow my lead. And so right now, yeah, Ben Johnson
is my leader.

Speaker 9 (35:19):
In the clubhouse.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
I like it man a lot. But I think, you know,
the Bears are suddenly you know. We talked with Tim yesterday,
a big Bears fan. The culture changed from this time
last year until today. We mentioned this yesterday where Matty
Verflus was mismanaging the clock and Taylor Williams was playing
with his hair on fire out there, not knowing what
he was doing, and the team was just flat. They

(35:43):
were just there was no emotion, no juice with that
team whatsoever. And then the coach, Biver Flues, gets fired
on Black Friday, and all of a sudden, you're bringing
Ben Johnson, a guy that everybody wanted. I mean, all
the teams lined up for this guy, and the Bears,
you know, paid up.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
And I think Ben it's been mentioned that Ben.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Wanted to go somewhere we had a true ability to
work with a young quarterback that they could develop, and.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
He's not all the way there yet with Ben.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
With Caleb Williams, I should say even mentioned in this
press conference, Yes, David, we got to get more out
of the passing game. And that was his way of saying, Hey,
Caleb and everybody, you know, we need to step it
up in that department because we can't run it for
two hundred and fifty yards every week. So he's a
great motivator. The thought that you know, Dan Campbell was
the meathead and the motivator and Ben Johnson was the

(36:28):
nerd behind the scenes calling the plays couldn't have been
further from the truth. It's a blend of everything.

Speaker 8 (36:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
I don't know that Dan Campbell has Ben Johnson's play
calling ability. Well, Dan needs to put the dinner menu
back in the hands of John Morton at this point,
because I don't think Dan's got that Ben Johnson touch
right now.

Speaker 9 (36:46):
Well, he just seems to be such a tactician.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Just goes I've watched some of you. To me, he
is a.

Speaker 9 (37:02):
Let's see, he inherited a pretty good roster and he's
got a quarterback.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
And he came in there and he said, you know what.

Speaker 9 (37:12):
I gotta I gotta.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Fix this guy.

Speaker 9 (37:15):
Yeah, okay, And that's what he's gonna do. And it's
a work in progress. And you see the Bears right now,
and get us out that Detroit was gonna be the
team of that division. Right now, it's Chicago Bears.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Man, they're right there on top of the NFC. Man,
Rocky good call, Bud good insight, thank you, take care
holding man Rocky out there in the Upstate. Once you
guys to join in. Two for zero, five, four eight zero.
Discussion today is coach of the Year in the NFL.
Who's doing the best job. And you know I talked
about this earlier.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Like Vrabel.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
When you look at the Patriots right another team that
was just flat last year with Girodmeo sort of trying
to figure out how to do this job, and obviously
it was just too early for him. Rabel comes in
with a track record. I mean, you've seen the AFC
over the years. Action, you know that brabes with Tennessee.
Not a lot of people know how to win in Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
It's hard. I mean, he was doing fine, and they
just like cut the court on him.

Speaker 12 (38:09):
Man Like it was just function that ownership group. That
was a surprise firing. But I agree they.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
And he took his time, Like I said, he took
a year off, you know, played some poker, casino. Yeah
you want to come? Yeah, And then he goes to
he goes to Cleveland for a year. He's a consultant.
Remember that last year was on the sidelines. And what
did he get to do there? He gets all the

(38:36):
glory of like being around a great defense, including Miles Garrett,
to learn a few things, and then he's getting none
of the blame for that team sucking. So it's like,
I'll just stop here for a few months. You got
to learn everything not to do. Take some those maybe
recruits and future players here. Maybe you get to the
Miles and a few other guys. But like, if you
look at the Patriots what they're doing right now. They
have the most wins in the NFL at the current moment,

(38:56):
they're the one seed in the AFC, and you probably
could name the average fan couldn't name more than five
players off that team.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
No, I can't.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Think about you know, Drake may let me see if
I could do it. I mean, I'm a sicko, so
I probably can. Stefan Dix comes to mine. He's been
pretty good. You got a couple of running backs and
Henderson and Stevenson that they're good, but they're not great.
But even like Will Campbell, they're great left offensive tackle
they drafted the first round.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
He was out last night. He's been out.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
They're doing this with replacements, yep. On defense, it's a hodgepotch.
They got rid of Kyle Dugger in the offseason. They
unloaded him, and they've got some pieces like Christian Gonzalez
that are blue chip type of players. Yeah, but that's
where I look at Rabel and action. You mentioned this
earlier about him being from the Belichick school of thought.
It's very true because Belichick early on didn't have.

Speaker 12 (39:47):
To start because, like you said, he wasn't a coach
under Belichick, but he was definitely on those winning Super
Bowl teams and so being in that just that framework,
you know, and having to work off of that at
to bring that to your coaching level. Man, that's yeah,
he's he's on track.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
They've won ten in a row. Yeah, hard that is
to do in the NFL. To win double digit games
in a row in a single season. They're pretty hard.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
At the still is one of their losses. Oh yeah, yeah,
they beat them.

Speaker 10 (40:19):
That's because the Patriots gave that game away. They gave
up five turnovers and we still only beat them that.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
They went on.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
Air after that to Colts, didn't you.

Speaker 9 (40:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Yeah, well that's because they neutralized Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
That's the key. Yeah team, Yeah, that team ain't going
to make the playoffs. I'm calling it right. Yeah, Like
they were the one seed a few weeks ago. You
got Jacksonville ahead of that division. Now and here comes
the Texans. I mean, they're scary good because they got
their QB back. Their old line has stabilized to average,
which is better than suck defense.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
I don't want to play that defense, man, that defense
is something else.

Speaker 12 (40:57):
It's amazing how the Colts all of a sudden took
a left turn more like a U turn.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, they ran the trends off of Jonathan Taylor, Taylor
and Danny Dimes.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
You know Indiana Jones. He's got a fracture in his uh,
in his leg right now, he's got a hairline fracture.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
He's playing through.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
The Indiana Jones and the OOPSI Daisy, I was gonna see.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Shane Styk and his McAfee. They called him another name
last year much well, something staken. Yeah, it's looking more
like that right now. It's a wild turn of events.
We'll take a closer look at all the teams around
the NFL as we're off at six thirty today, yielding
to Game Cocks basketball. You guys give us a call here.
We can talk anything you want eight six four two.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
Four zero five Game Odd with John Alice weekdays four
to six four nine, Flock Sports, some stink.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
Shin James surviving.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Shot shot So.

Speaker 11 (42:12):
Alone man on the street, big bags.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Having a good time here. It's Football Tuesday. John Ellis
Trey Falco or a special correspondent.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Action Jackson is in the in the house.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
Baby, can't do the catchphrase today though I can't do
on f you kind of superstitious about that.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
You don't you just leave that in the uh in
the till Friday? Yeah, I mean, it's not the weekend
till Friday.

Speaker 12 (42:43):
Even on long holiday weekends, I very rarely bring it
out on that Thursday because a lot of people are
not necessarily off unless it's a major holiday like Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
All right, work weekends.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
I used to get that.

Speaker 12 (42:57):
Question a lot when I worked weekends. It's like weekend working.
Why you say, I mean you're working. It's not like Karen, Karen.
If I'm working or not, it's still the weekend, baby.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
And I got a customer service complain high work weekends.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
When do I get my weekend?

Speaker 12 (43:20):
Baby?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Shout upset.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
Yeah, tomorrow will be the hump day, baby.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
I will never butcher the weekend. Damn cammel in the
ways right to get flat. It's Campbell Bay home game
on tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
We're gonna have a good old home day. Join the party.
Eight six four two four zero five four eight zero.
Believe it or not, we're actually talking sports today and
we're nominating the coaches of the year, Right, now in
the NFL. I mean, we've been talking coaches in college
football because everybody's everybody's running to other.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
Schools trap now. It's crazy laying Kiff and John some all.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
A lot of movement. Uh, you know, Auburn's got a
new coach. Everybody's just running to a new stop right now.
But you know there's the teams here in the Palmetto State,
the big ones, at least the two primary ones, South
Carolina Clemson, gonna roll with who they've had moving forward.
I think that's the right move. But NFL wise, yeah,
we're gonna do a little something here. At the top
of the hour, my son suggested, since it's the third quarter,

(44:21):
coming to a wrap in the NFL, time to do
report cards, all right, we'll start in the A F, C,
A B C, D F I for incomplete, A zero.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
For some teams, Yes for fire, Mike.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
I heart my heart to hear those chants. I like Tomblin.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
I like Tomlin.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
It's been a long team, man.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
I don't know that I'm necessarily tip.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
You're like this dealers, just non committal about it. I know, yeah,
do that job. Come on, you come here tomorrow with
an actual coaches. Head said one of those, Sony, I'll
put the beanie on his sons on that Oh he looked.
He looked like he had the sons. Mike. Mike did
not look well.

Speaker 10 (45:06):
He put him and Aaron Rodgers together and it's Marv
Harry from Home alone.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
He got the height there and it works.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
It's perfect.

Speaker 10 (45:19):
Bosa hit him. He was Micaulay Bosa. Oh my god,
you got hit in the face of the paint. Can
I just saw that clip earlier.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
Again, I still can't believe Rogers didn't die on the field.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
That looked, because I think he couldn't believe it either.

Speaker 3 (45:34):
He's so frail, like he's forty two, and he's not
like Josh Allen.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
He's not He's not He's not beefy man.

Speaker 12 (45:40):
That was a bad look when he got up off
the field and Cameron did the close up man.

Speaker 5 (45:44):
Bad look.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Yeah, I was like, holy crap, we'll be grading all
the NFL teams and taking your calls when we come
back here into the six pm hour for sure stadium?
Did he even nickname for this?

Speaker 9 (45:57):
Cid my far what if you got hit by Trump again?

Speaker 3 (46:01):
I'm not taking CJ over Maholmes let me tell you
about Sam Dark. You could have him right now for
a bag of him. And it's Philly.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
It's Philly.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
I'm just a dumb sports talker, but I love.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
John. Oh yeah, baby, the weight is over.

Speaker 6 (46:19):
I got right now.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
I woke up. I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Finally something to argue about. That isn't your co workers
fantasy trade proposal or Bryce Young's height. It's game on
with John Ellis and trade poly Walnuts Falco with wal
to wall NFL action all season long. I am the
new from first snap to final whistle, rookies, revenge games
and questionable calls and absolutely zero patients for your power rankings. Yeah,

(46:47):
brought to you by Ingles Low Prices, love the savings. Hit.
The phone line said two four zero fifty four eight.
Let's talk some football. Here's John Elis. Oh my goodness.
We're talking football.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
And much much more with you guys on Football Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
Good to be with you, John.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
Let's treat Paulie Watts Malcolm live from the Ingles studio
and we welcome in the third voice of today's show.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
It's Action Jackson's going on, fellas.

Speaker 12 (47:13):
Good to be with you today, man, I'm glad to
be here, man, thank you so much for the invinight.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Happy belated Thanksgiving. Man.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Did you cook this year? Did you did?

Speaker 1 (47:21):
I smoked the turkey.

Speaker 12 (47:22):
Oh it's just my fourth fourth year smoking a turkey,
and uh yeah, came out perfect.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
Of course.

Speaker 12 (47:29):
Yesterday last night I made the rest of the turkey salad.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
Oh manh yeah, I got through the rest of our
leftovers last night. I think we've we've officially extinguished all
of our leftovers.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Yeah, I've got turkeys, smoked turkey salad. Delicious, delicious turkey.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
Baby, it's the turkey baby.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
We're gonna hand out some NFL grades here. It's the
end of the third quarter and we're into.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
The fourth list now the top four two.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Speaking of wis speaking of I mean in the in
the custom of Taco Tuesday. We have a little bit
of audio to share with you. I don't know how
much of these grades we're gonna get through because game
Cock Basketball comes your way six thirty. They take it
on Virginia Tech tonight. Uh, but we we do have
some audio, not only of Andy Reid. We want to
share with you with some outrageou stuff he had to say.

(48:22):
But as we go through the vault. Here we're seeing
if we have on Taco Tuesday, why not play this game?

Speaker 7 (48:28):
You like, turn your head to eat a taco or
do you turn the taco for you?

Speaker 5 (48:35):
Are you dominant to the taco.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Or to the taco?

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Like can you turn your head for the taco?

Speaker 1 (48:40):
Wait for it? Wait for it?

Speaker 3 (48:43):
Come on, Cam.

Speaker 10 (48:46):
It's it's about the dominance of the taco though, like
if you're not, if you're turning the taco, you're dominating
the taco.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
Happy Taco Tuesday to all that's celebrating what here's Andy
Reid here? You thought, okay, what in the theme of what.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
What the hell?

Speaker 13 (49:04):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Here's Andy Reid yesterday talking about their approach to running
the ball down the stretch.

Speaker 7 (49:10):
We're gonna try to tickle your tonsils on every every play,
every game.

Speaker 9 (49:16):
And uh.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
Has he been hanging out with Jerry Jones? I mean
like we got to.

Speaker 3 (49:25):
We They were literally in the same building last Thursday
for Thanksgiving. Train some notes old uncle Jared with well,
I think you know we're gonna pickle some tonsils too,
you know, I've got a little bit of expertise.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
And why don't we hang out at the next combine?

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Why don't we do that?

Speaker 3 (49:45):
We go hope to Indianapolis and uh, let's stop talking
like this. I need a job. I got bill to pay.

Speaker 12 (49:55):
It was this one thing I didn't pay attention to
until just now. What's that Jared Jones talking about the
gloriole yes and the first in the statement he goes,
I've been thinking a lot about this in a showers
in the shower.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
It's it's an oil and gas term? Or is it?

Speaker 7 (50:18):
Now?

Speaker 1 (50:20):
District? Go to the Ingles sideline. Welcome to game one?

Speaker 5 (50:28):
Hey, those is mad?

Speaker 1 (50:31):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (50:33):
I got two words for you.

Speaker 1 (50:36):
Yeah. Oh, I know it.

Speaker 5 (50:39):
I know it.

Speaker 3 (50:39):
I know it.

Speaker 4 (50:40):
Man.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
What a win. We're still basking in the glow. And
and what a way to go into a bye week
when you your whole team is either injured or suspended
for punch and below the belt. You go in, you
beat the Rams, and then you get a bye week,
you get rested up. Man, it's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 1 (50:53):
Matt.

Speaker 5 (50:55):
I went to the Saints game and I told my wife.
I was like, I went to the wrong game. I know.

Speaker 3 (51:00):
Same with my kids, they said the same thing. I'm
up there every Sunday at the home games for the
Tailgates show for iHeart and it was great to be there.
But I actually came back home for that game because
I had some family stuff to do. But we were
at the Saints game and that was one of the
games I didn't sit in the press box. I set
out with my boys, and I'm with you. I'm like,
what happened in that game. But that's the nature of

(51:20):
not only this team, but the entire league this year.
It's like everybody's losing to who they shouldn't and then
they're beating teams that you know they shouldn't. It's just
been a strange year.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
Man.

Speaker 5 (51:31):
Hey, I'll tell you what. After having a bye week
this week, we better go to New Orleans and beat
them like a yard sale couch, you know what.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Hanging out with Jerry, I think that's actually in the
way you phrased it is certainly unique. But I think
they need to find a way to get one of
those wins that is, like last night's win for New England.
They haven't had one of those all year. Since the
Atlanta game. If there was thirty ton thing, they haven't
had like one of those. Okay, it's the third quarter.

(52:03):
We can breathe a little bit. That's the next step
in the progression is dominating some of these substandard teams.
It's always tough on the road in this division, but
there's no reason to have a repeat of that slop
fest from a few weeks ago where the Saints came
into town to just slow bled Carolina out. That that
can't happen again.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
Do you turn the Saints for you.

Speaker 5 (52:23):
Especially especially if we're getting guys.

Speaker 6 (52:24):
Back from being injured and everything. And uh something else
that's interesting too. If we go and beat the Seahawks
coming up, yeah, we will have the tiebreaker over the Cowboys, Uh,
the Seahawksers and like other yeah, and the Packers too,
and that and that type of uh, you know, when
it comes down.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
To the wildcard. So like you might say, oh, it's
not like a.

Speaker 6 (52:47):
Conference win, it's not as important.

Speaker 5 (52:49):
But like, man, any win right now everywhere.

Speaker 6 (52:51):
And then if we go and beat the Seahawks, we
have we have ownership.

Speaker 5 (52:55):
Over all of those other wildcard teams.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
It's this simple, like no matter what happened, and you
don't even have to win out, but if you do,
if you sweep December like they did in twenty fourteen.
You're in. No, no, I mean there's no debating it.
You're in because you'll have the tiebreaker over the Buccaneers.
You would have beat him twice and that's a tall order.
And the Seahawks are no slouch, but they have clearly
defined goals in front of them now heading into December

(53:19):
to make the playoffs. They're not having to rely on
other people to lose. It's a beautiful place to be
for a Panthers fan out there because they haven't experienced
that in a long time.

Speaker 5 (53:29):
And I was watching the game and I was like,
oh boy, here we go. They're gonna find some way
to lose this game now. But then Derek Brown, Derek
Brown had that massive hit and I was like, yes, finally,
And how.

Speaker 3 (53:40):
Good was Bryce? I mean when you asked when you
asked him to compliment the running game, he's lethal. That's
the way it was at Alabama when they had guys
in the backfield like Robinson and Gibbs. He was able
to distribute and play point guard a little bit when
you ask him to drop straight back forty times, like
Frank Reich was doing his rookie year and like early
in his second year, that's not gonna work. But now
you got a Hubbard getting going again. You got Rico

(54:02):
still back there, pouted, and you got these weapons now
with Cocher lagets you know, hot and cold, but he'll
be you know, good for a game or two there
for one hundred yards. And then Avidy McMillan is just
they found the true X receiver in that guy.

Speaker 5 (54:14):
Yeah. This was the last thing I'll say is I
think Canal it's just needs to on each game figure
out whose day is it. Is it Rico's day, yes?
Is it Chuba's day?

Speaker 3 (54:23):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (54:23):
And then let Whoever's day it is roll because it
was Cuba's day against the ram out. But that's not
necessarily going to be the saint. That's not necessarily going
to be the case.

Speaker 9 (54:34):
Every game.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
They bring unique things to the table, like Rico is
not as good in pass protection, but he's much better
out of the backfield in terms of you know, running
true routes. Now, Cuba had that touchdown on the swing
route last week and he can do it. But Cuba
is probably better between the tackles, whereas Dad Will gets
those outside runs. He's got that great ability to cut
on a dime. And he's got that breakaway speed. But

(54:55):
Hubbard was, as somebody said, Hubbard in the touchdown, look
like he was running like the lake Bill was due.
There was some urgency to that run, like all right,
I'm tired of playing second fiddle. But he has handled
it so well. Like you get around the team, you
cover the team like I've had the opportunity to do.
I even interviewed Rico in the preseason at camp, and

(55:17):
he was just here to have some fun and come
back home to the Carolinas. And they're so close in
that locker room. It's even when they lose, there's no
panic with that team. Even last Monday night. You fly
back short week West Coast, East Coast, and that was
a strong effort man against the Rams. That was really
really something special.

Speaker 5 (55:35):
Yeah, and I'll say this too about the college playoff stuff,
as far as Lane kissing and all that goes.

Speaker 6 (55:43):
Man, I'm the biggest old Miss fan there is right now,
Like a man, if.

Speaker 5 (55:48):
Those kids could rally together and win a championship and say, na, Lane,
you ain't got nothing.

Speaker 7 (55:54):
To do with this, that would be the.

Speaker 5 (55:55):
Coolest story in football in a long time. That those
guys went and got it done without him, and and
he would just have to sit with his big old
pile of money and elis you and not have to
get not be able to get that ring. That would
be said, sweet sweet victory for him. That would be awesome.

Speaker 3 (56:12):
Take the money, it would be yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:13):
I mean.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
And Pete Golding, the guy who's replacing Lane. I love
the replacement because Pete's a great story played at Delta State.
Was a walk on. Uh Saban had him on his
staff for a while and then and Lane brought him
in and he just he Golding just looks like a dude.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
He just looks it looks like a figure frat boy,
he really does.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
But he's he's got some defensive chops about him. And
I think they got a good a good Ford momentum
with that program. But obviously l s u once in
a lifetime job, go take it. And it's to nature
college football, man, everybody's getting paid.

Speaker 5 (56:45):
Now, yeah, no doubt. All right, fella's go Panthers.

Speaker 3 (56:49):
All right, Matt, good to hear from you, man. Congrats
on the win. That's awesome. Uh yeah, did he beat
the Rams? Holy crap?

Speaker 1 (56:54):
What was Bryce's turnaround? Was it last season?

Speaker 3 (56:58):
Yeah? It really was. I mean, actually, when you look
at what the Bryce has been through, obviously the height,
the stature comes to mind, but when you look at
what he did the end of last year and in
Trey and I've talked about this many times, there was
a gauntlet of games where they played Kansas City, Philadelphia,
Tampa Bay three in a row, three of the best
teams in the conference at the point, one team that
went to the super Bowl, the other that won it.

(57:20):
And he took him down to the wire. I mean,
he had some great moments in the game. Xavier lot
dropped an easy touchdown at the end of the Philly
game that could have beaten Philly on the road. Yes,
he played out of his mind last year. They showed
a stat earlier and I don't have the exact numbers
in front of me, but since he was benched last year,
I think it's thirty seven touchdowns, thirteen picks, and that's
over a course of like twenty games, And so that's

(57:42):
the sample size you look at. It's hard to find
a quarterback in this league too. Like Bill Parcells said
it best, once upon a time, you can't just dial
one eight hundred good at quarterback. Yeah, you just got.
He got to take the number one overall pick and
build around him, and I think Dave Canalis, Dan Morgan there,
they're dedicated to doing that right now. I think they
should be because this don coming draft. Once upon a

(58:03):
time we all thought, oh man, you got five six
first rounders, and maybe we will. But how many teams,
as I've said, truly know they've got their guy for
the next five years. Maybe Carolina doesn't, but not a
lot of teams do. In Kansas City, Buffalo, not the Steelers,
maybe not the Dolphins, maybe maybe not.

Speaker 1 (58:28):
You know, I'm still in this corner for a long time,
but it's started to starting to fade, starting to fade.

Speaker 3 (58:32):
The guy that gave him the money is no longer employed,
and they were undefeated since they fired the GM.

Speaker 12 (58:38):
Which is interesting. But uh, I'll see Mike. I mean,
if we win what three four more games? Yeah, it's
a chance.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
You're sniffing around five and seven, right, So he may
still they may let him hang around another year.

Speaker 3 (58:52):
If they win, you keep Mike.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
I think I would, Yeah, I think I would do.

Speaker 12 (58:57):
I would keep him and let's let's get of him
some weapons to work. Yeah, you know, uh a Chane is.
You know we got all running back, we got out
running back.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
Great.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
You know he's beat me a couple of times on fantasy.
It's hard. Yeah, talk about that the jugger out here.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
I refuse to draft any Dolphin players on my fantasy.

Speaker 12 (59:22):
I don't want to enjoyment level. I just don't want
to go through that. You know, you know I get that.
I go through that enough just watching him Ghostbusters. Don't
If I get h I would have got him, you know,
because I know he's that good.

Speaker 1 (59:39):
Unlike able to get in the very first And how's
that looking, dude.

Speaker 3 (59:47):
That's the thing about running backs in fantasy. It's relying
upon a lot of things, including the offensive line, including
the play caller. Yep, oh boy, it's not pretty in
Philly right now. We'll come back talk some more NFL
with you. We're out here at six thirty for game
Cock basketball. They took on a Virginia Tech. We'll wrap
up game on it to.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
This game on with John Alice weekdays four to six
on one oh four nine Fox Sports, Susday.

Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
Oh, we're having some fun here on a football Tuesday,
but calls today good interaction with our friends out there.
We've got Action Jackson in the house.

Speaker 12 (01:00:27):
By Yeah, Baby Taco Tuesday, Baby Taco Tuesday. We are
working our way toward the weekend. Baby Yeah, here we go.

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
I was it all day and we were able to
shoehorn it in.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Anytime the catchphrase makes an appearance on this air, I'm
a happy man. We're out here in about eight minutes
because the Gamecock basketball is coming your way. They're taking
on Virginia Tech tonight. Stand by for that in just
a few short minutes. In the meantime, hell let's fire
up the band and let's do this. Let's hand out
some letter grades around the NFL. We'll start with the
AFC today. We're gonna be on time, but no better

(01:01:02):
time than the president to start with the AFC East.
Let's grade these teams relative to the expectations that we
had preseason. Let's start with the Patriots are resounding A plus.
I mean, look, Coach of the Year candidate, Offensive Player
of the Year candidate, MVP candidate, and Drake me I
don't know how much a better job they could be
doing right now.

Speaker 10 (01:01:20):
I say, can you go higher than an A plus?
Because I'd be willing to give it to them I
mean think it's incredible.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
I don't think you can action. What do you think
A plus for the Patriots pain you to say you
gotta give it to him, all right, you got the
best record in the whole league. Yes, most wins in
the NFL. Right now, the Buffalo Bill's relative to expectations,
I've come a B plus right now. Well, offensively, they're
just inconsistent Allan. I know he had a big day
on the ground, the whole team did, but they're just

(01:01:45):
lacking weapons on the outside. That's going to eventually, I
think come back to hurt them at some point.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
I haven't I'm not going to go as far as
a C plus.

Speaker 10 (01:01:52):
I'd give them a B minus. I just, man, I
had much higher.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Expectations for this team coming into the season. Maybe that's
just me personally.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
But I just short, do you think E yeah, B
solid B. Yeah, just a solid B.

Speaker 12 (01:02:07):
I mean, like you say, uh, you look at the
record and you be like, all right, you know, isn't it.
But it's the inconsistency of what they've been showing so far,
which has been a shock to me because they look
so solid these past years.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
Absolutely, yeah, So it would be a bee all right.

Speaker 3 (01:02:21):
The Dolphins, they were dead in the water. They were
going to repeat fifth grade again, and Mike McDaniel specifically
it's going to repeat fifth grade again. But they have rallied.
So I take them from what was an F earlier
this season to like a C maybe C minus. They
have some warts with that team right now, betray. I
think they're playing better football right now and they're trending up.

(01:02:42):
I don't know if it's sustainable, but they're better than
they were.

Speaker 10 (01:02:44):
Oh yeah, they're definitely playing a lot better than I mean,
they were left for dead here at the beginning of
this and there's a lot of recency bias there too
that they are turning around doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
I'd be maybe a C minus I.

Speaker 10 (01:02:54):
Think, is where I'd fall there with the Dolphins, just
because I feel like every year they start off really hot, yeah,
and so that's kind of what I expected to happen
and then they'd fall off towards the end, and it's
just the opposite this year, and it kind of threw
me off a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Yeah, I would.

Speaker 12 (01:03:08):
I would say, uh, I would have started off earlier
with the C minus, but the way they played lately,
I'm gonna go see, okay, if they can just pull off,
you know, the next game.

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
With the Jets.

Speaker 12 (01:03:19):
Of all people, we got the Jets next, and they
always give us hell. No matter how the Dolphins you are,
or how good or how poor the Jets are, they
always give us hell.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
So we get if we can pull that out. I would,
I could, I would say nice.

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
And that brings us to the Jets, a team that's
only one a handful of games this year, but they've
been competitive and I don't think we expected a whole lot.
Here's what I'll see. I'll give them a shockingly a
C minus. And here's why. Yeah, I think we expected
about four or five wins for you on Glenn. But
they traded away a lot of people at the deadline.
They unloaded a lot of dead weight, and they played
good football. They beat the Falcons this past weekend, uh

(01:03:56):
in overtime. Yeah, I'll give a C minus just based
on expectations. I think they're trending up that that might
be an absurd grade.

Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
I'm I'm gonnaive my a D.

Speaker 10 (01:04:05):
I just I look at this team and like, I
don't know, maybe it's maybe I saw a little bit
more in Justin Field last year there in Pittsburgh than
I maybe was there, but I definitely expected more out
of this team. I was like, all right, Aaron Glenn's
gonna come in. He comes from that that Dan Campbells
smash mouth. We're gonna run the ball down your throat,
and I kind of assume that's what they were gonna do.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
And then I don't know what's happened.

Speaker 10 (01:04:24):
With this experiment with Justin Fields, but it has been atrocious.

Speaker 12 (01:04:27):
Like every year, yeah D, solid D, solid D. They
started to seven. Oh yeah, solid D.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Aaron Quinn's gonna print the T shirt.

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
But I'll go I'll go solid D. I here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
Let's move on to the AFC North, where there's been
some bad D going on with the Pittsburgh Steelers that
that team gets a D minus. Look, I'm sorry, I'm
being really critical, but they loaded up this offseason even
in season. They bring Jalen Ramsey, they bring Darius Lay
who's off the team now, they've resigned Cam Hayward. They've

(01:05:05):
got what they've got he Smith, they've got her Big,
they've got a load of defense.

Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
And they can't stop the run.

Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
And then Aaron Rodgers it's just old and he can't
throw over the middle.

Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
They just look so bad.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
I got to take a deep breath because I remember
that I'm on the air.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Yeah. Uh f for the Steelers, this defense.

Speaker 10 (01:05:24):
The amount of money they sunk into this defense and
went out and paid what paid Cameron Hayward even after
they paid him last year, Yeah, to keep him here.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
Because I guess his brother couldn't be fed. I don't
know what.

Speaker 10 (01:05:36):
This defense cannot hold their own against practically anybody.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
It looks terrible, and the frustrating thing is it gets
fixed for a couple of weeks. They patch it up
against like, of all teams, the Colts, right right, and
then they come back against the Bills, who they can
run the ball, but they're not the Colts with that department,
and then they just get two hundred and fifty late
on them.

Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
Yeah, I'm great, No one he injured curve.

Speaker 9 (01:05:58):
I won't.

Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
I mean that's five hundred.

Speaker 12 (01:06:02):
I mean, you know they've they've pulled out some wins
on some wins standard thank you. They should have won
and you know, should have beat the Bengals, you know.
So Yeah, I'm just gonna go solid to see.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
We're gonna stay in this division and then wrap up
with able to do the rest of the AFC tomorrow.
Right the the Ravens, I'm giving them a D.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Also.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
Look, I mean, this is a team that started slowly.
I know they've been a little better of late, but
they still haven't convinced me there on the way. They've
got Derek Henry for crying out loud, hitting him the
damn ball.

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
D minus. You can't run Dereck Henry running this division sucks.

Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
Yeah. Henry looks slow.

Speaker 12 (01:06:38):
Yeah, he's a strong, powerful runner, but when he gets
in the open field, he does.

Speaker 3 (01:06:43):
Not have the speed Lamarlkan slowly too. He looks hurting,
he looks right, Yeah he's been dinged up.

Speaker 12 (01:06:49):
Oh yeah, I'm gonna go see minus.

Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
All right, bingals, that's a tough one here. I'm still
giving them a D. And you know, look, I know
it's a trendy thing. All They're back, Joe's back, everything back.
That D looks better. I don't know, man, and me
go on, they played a wounded Ravens team. I'm giving
them a D because I'm not convinced that they can
win more than six games, even with Burrow back.

Speaker 10 (01:07:08):
Yeah, I'm actually willing to give them maybe a C
minus just because of just because of how well they
held it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
Dude.

Speaker 10 (01:07:14):
When Joe Burrow went down, I was like, they're done right,
and then Joe Flacco comes in and starts lighting it up.

Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
Coucho Flaco, Yeah, you can't ask better.

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
They're playing the best football in the division right now.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
They really are.

Speaker 5 (01:07:27):
What do you who?

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
You got?

Speaker 12 (01:07:28):
What you got? Well, I was gonna give him a
D until he brought in Flacco and I'm like, yeah,
he hailed it together for for uh Burrow to come
back again.

Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
When are we going to talk?

Speaker 12 (01:07:39):
When are we going to stop the elite Burrow talk?

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Well, I don't know. Yeah, he ain't been looking like
that lately. That's right to gauge on him.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
A right. One more team, he got one minute left here?
The Cleveland Browns. I mean, they're putting all their eggs
in shid Or Sanders basket right now. Stefanski's on hot.
The defense is the only good thing about that team
right now. That makes it halfway watching what's Miles? I mean,
unbelievable what he's doing here. They never have a lead
and he's still playing sex. Yeah, what's from my house.

Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
Yeah, baby, mismanaged the whole quarterback situation. So it's definitely
a f all right action.

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
Jackson, Hey man, thank you. It was a pleasure.

Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
Thank You's always man.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
We had a great time.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
I love it. Text me again. I'll be here.

Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
No, you know it, man, better call action. He's always
on the in the bullpen for Trey, Paul Walnuts Falco.

Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
Everybody asked.

Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
Trey Falco or Jackson, it's Johnnyls.

Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Stay tuned.

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
We got game Cock basketball coming your way as they're
taking on Virginia Tech at the bottom of the hour.
We'll see you tomorrow five pm.

Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
