on angles hotline. That's right, the voice of the Clemson Tigers,

this show, which oftentimes happens very informally with Don. Yeah,
it's gonna be cruising down one twenty three, heading ingles
on the way home and be like big cat for clubs. Well,
Don's been kind enough to join us in a more

We're gonna pick his brain on Clemson this season so far.

Obviously on the football side, it's been a journey. They've
had their ups and downs, but a couple of wins
in a row now, want at home against Florida State,
a critical win at Louisville in so much that you
want to keep your bowl playoff and your bowl hope's alive.
The playoffs are obviously yeah, no longer in the picture.
But we'll get Don's perspective on what this season has
been like from his point of view, and then coming

up at six point thirty, our good buddy Dalton Wasserman
breaks down the college football playoff rankings, of which there
are a few complaints, still a few people that are
still trying to figure out why Notre Dame You're still

in practice they really have to run the table to
have any shot. They need to get to like at
least nine wins, maybe ten wins. And what worries me
about the schedule ahead is it's almost impossible, right even
with Burrow, maybe less so with Burrow.

That's the other thing too, Like the Patriots, that's who

earlier this year, and that's a big deal. They play
New England, then they're at Baltimore, then they're at Buffalo,
and then they come back home against Baltimore again. That's
the four game stretch everybody's talking about if they can
somehow run the table with that stretch, they get back
to well five hundred basically, and then the three games

Yeah, I get it, like no team is going to tank,

term perspective with how injury prone he tends to be.
I mean, I feel like every year he's beat up
by something. I'd put that man in a layer of
bubble wrap, put him on the shelf till next season,
and hope that because I mean, the last thing you
want to do is to put him back in, rush
him out there and go, okay, we could maybe run
the tables and maybe there's a chance to the playoff.

And then he has some crazy injury come up at
the end of the season and he's out all next season.

And that's the hard part about sizing all this up
is they've had habit lately of making Hay very late
in the season, where it's too late. Guys are already
getting injured, and you don't want Burrow out for an
extended period of time. There is news about Aaron Rodgers,
by the way, now he's pushing to play this weekend.
I figured he will. He wants to play. He's got
the ankle, or not the ankle, He's got the wrist.

YEAH i think this little stretch they've had, lately they
figure some things out defensively a little. Bit. Obviously you
go back to The Florida state, game you all the
way back to what happened Against, duke and there were
a lot of things we can break down from that
ending of that game that we're not going to touch on.
Today But Florida state a great performance there against a
team that has sort of lost their way a little.

is growing up for us there at one of the

linebacker two has been another key part of. This he's

what Coach allen wants from him as a. Linebacker so
there are some positives and the movement that's going. Forward

this back In august that everybody was hyped up about
Having Tom allen. Here it was going to take a.

and so it's something that's good because you can take this,

is a great landing spot for. Him and credit To

Brian berzie has been playing good. Football Will putnam's been
in the lineup, lately and of Course Trevor lawrence etn
two of the key cogs there For. Jacksonville it's got
to be cool from your perspective just seeing these guys
not only grow his men within that program through Coach,
sweeney but then graduate onto THE nfl and have great.

starting at defensive tackle in the, league and even though
he's just a, punter you know he's over there still
