(00:00):
Everybody. Welcome to new computer build, and welcome back to the fifteen hundred
dollars gaming PC build of the monthfor May twenty twenty three. My name
is Corey. Let's jump into it. So the fifteen hundred dollars build this
month, Um, you know,it's pretty status quo, uh, compared
to April's build. However, Ijust I want to touch on a few

(00:21):
different things. If and if you'vebeen tuning in, Um, there is
one one caveat that yeah, you'llbe quite impressed with and that's the cost.
And it's gone down just a littlebit, actually quite a bit since
last month. So overall costs ofall hardware PC hardware have been going down
steadily over over the last a littlebit to mind you. But this month,

(00:41):
this is an under fifteen hundred dollarsgaming PC build and it's at you
know, the equivalent to performance gamingperformance as previous months, so which is
phenomenal. But so let's let's jumpinto it. So let's jump into building
which hardware we need for this buildand getting into it. So if this
is your time here and your budgetis fifteen hundred dollars, which is probably

(01:03):
the reason why you're listening to thisat the moment, well, he might
be also wondering what would a fifteenhundred dollars build to kind of get you
in terms of gaming performance. Imean, it would be a great PC
overall in terms of overall use ifyou're using it for other things. However,
for gaming, it's also a phenomenalbuild. And I think fifteen hundred

(01:23):
dollars is always a great entry pointfor those that I think are looking for
kind of that higher end gaming experience, really want to max out games at
the higher resolution range. And youknow, if you put any more money
into a build, let's say atwo thousand dollars build, you'll be able
to push more fps and stuff outof it. But but it's kind of
getting into that, you know, really really trying to melt the performance out

(01:44):
of like four K resolutions for example, at ultra settings and trying to get
to you know, as as asmuch performance as you can possibly get.
But fifteen hundred dollars will get youthere anyways, and so that's why it's
always a good starting point, andit's kind of diminishing returns beyond there.
That's just kind of my opinion. But this build that's what you can expect.
So you can kind of game withextreme settings and high fps at resolutions

(02:05):
anywhere from ten ADP two K resolutionsso fourteen forty P and and really good
game plan at four K resolutions. So that's what you can expect in terms
of performance. We'll get into whatthis costs overall, but let's jump into
it. So the CPU being recommendedfor this build is the newer AMD Rising
five seventy six hundred X cpu here. So this is that newer rise in
seventy six hundred X. That's afast and fantastic gaming cpu. It also

(02:29):
runs supports d D five memory,so in the newer memory, which has
also come down a cost which isoverall kind of contributing to that cost decrease
this month. But it's also thatnew on AMD's new AM five platform.
So again there was a little hesitancywhen some of these chips were coming out
a little earlier months ago here becauseit would it would increase the kind of

(02:52):
cost of entry to building a PCversus going with kind of the older platforms.
But now costs have gone down,I see no reason not to just
jump onto the newer platforms. Anyways, am D rise in five seventy six
hundred x at the moment coming inat two hundred and forty nine dollars.
Looking to save some dollars on yourchip or some dollars on the build overall,

(03:14):
you could go with the plane OldRising five seventy six hundred, which
is a little bit cheaper, andyou can also overclock it to get similar
performance as this chip as well, mind you, so if you are looking
to save, that is an alternativejumping in. We need a cooler with
this CPU, so the No.TWA nh U twelve S Reducks air cooler
is being recommended here at fifty fourdollars ninety five cents. You can go

(03:34):
with something like usually I recommend interms of the air cooler side of things,
a cooler Master Hyper two twelve, but you do need to get the
kind of compatible kit for AM five. If it doesn't come with it,
well you can so if you doorder a cooler Master Hyper two twelve,
you can always go to cooler Master'ssite and order a kit for that if
it doesn't come with it, Butyou'd be good either way either choice here,

(03:57):
So fifty four ninety five or nottwa air cooler being worth amended here.
Jumping into the motherboard, here wehave the MSI pro B six fifty
p Wi Fi motherboard. This isan at X board at one hundred ninety
nine ninety nine. This is thesame board as being recommended last month.
However it's about twenty dollars cheaper.Again, another contribution to the overall price
reduction of this build. The GPUwe have, so the graft card that's

(04:19):
being recommended at the moment is theradio on r X sixty eight hundred XT.
This one's the x f X MERKthree nineteen, five hundred fifty nine
dollars and ninety nine cents. Thememory we have is a Crucial ram kid
of a sixteen gigabyte kit, twogigabyte modules of d R five forty one
hundred megahirt memory at fifty one ninetyfive d R five memory amazing. So,

(04:44):
and here's Crucial's marketing language harnessing blazingspeeds up to fifty six hundred megaherts
one and a half times faster thand R four. Well, it is
faster, and also the cost isslowly narrowing. Narrowing in terms of affordability
between the two but you can't getdar for anyways with this build. So
let's jump into the new the newtechnology that we can take advantage of here.

(05:08):
So SSD we have is a crucialP three plus one terror by NBMSSC
for thirty nine ninety nine power supplywe have is the peer Power twelve M
eight hundred and fifty power supply Harderthirty four dollars ninety cents. This is
the only thing that has changed inthis build this month, mind you,
last month we had an Evga powersupply. However, it's shot up significantly

(05:28):
in price for maybe supply reasons.I'm not sure, but I love the
be quiet a series of power supplies. So this is a great recommendation as
well a piece of case we haveas a course, there are four thousand
d infamous case that's been around fora while. Kind of meets all players
needs players, I mean all kindof gamers needs in that it has good

(05:50):
airflow. It's kind of one ofthe most popular cases for a long long
time standing, and there's plenty ofroom to build in it. But there
are plenty of options for cases there. I would say the case is kind
of to the opinion of the PCbuilder because it it's really about aesthetics at
the end of the day, andthen the other stuff is kind of nice
as well, not nice, butyou want good airflow and all those sorts

(06:12):
of things. But cases are reallythe external face of your PC. So
just letting you know, long storyshort, you can always shop around if
you want a different looking case, but I always recommend this one because I
like it. It's a good costfor what you get. One hundred three
dollars and ninety nine cents. So, like I said, the estimated cost
right now from May twenty twenty threefor this build, in comparison to last

(06:33):
month it was closer to fifteen hundreddollars is one thousand, three hundred and
eighty nine dollars at the start ofMay twenty twenty three, so that's significant
decrease. So maybe you have afifteen hundred dollars budget and you do want
to utilize it all, let's jumpin. I don't usually do these in
the in the monthly update videos, but here are some upgrades suggestions should you
want to. Some ideas you canupgrade your GPU and get more gaming performance

(06:58):
with something like an XFX radio onr X seventy nine hundred XT for seven
hundred ninety three dollars and eighty ninecents. Newer GPU, mind you,
and a great one at that. That would be an option you can upgrade
your CPU. So this is alsoa newer CPU. So this's the rise
in seventy nine hundred. Oh sorry, this is the rise in seventy nine
fifty x three D. So thisis the best performing CPU gaming CPU on

(07:20):
the market at the moment, andit just came out. So if you
wanted to consider this six hundred andfifty eight dollars, and all you would
have to do is swap out theone that's being recommended above here and you'd
be good to go. So anotheroption, you can increase your memory to
a crucial thirty two gigabyte kit insteadd R five Memory Kit one hundred three

(07:42):
dollars ninety nine cents. Or ifyou want to get to a more kind
of customized liquid cooling such as anall on one cooling, I mean,
you can go with something like thisb Quiet b W zero zero eight peer
loop three hundred and sixty millimeter allin one cooler four hundred four dollars and
ninety cents. So some upgrade suggestionsthere that does it this month for the
May twenty twenty three gaming PC Buildof the Month. If you have any
