Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, well, I guess we're back.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Back from our sukmas.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
If anybody hasn't had a chance yet, we do have
VALANX over there. We'll give away a T shirt just
before nine o'clock, so yourself.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Put your name down. We won't suck you or anything like.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
If you having stories to tell us, be the phone number.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I mean that'd be great.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
So yes, on this portion again, talking about the king,
said pop in the history, we know that this place is.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
You know, haunted and quitsdently enough.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
When I was talking before, or when as she was talking,
I heard noises behind me here and a lady at
the back table there was saying that she did see
the curtain move. I don't know if anybody else witnessed
that too, but you know it is what it is.
So Kelly put one of her key two meters down there,
so if anybody sees it going red, you'll let us.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Know and I'll be out.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Of here.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Anyway.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
She'll be running for money, equipment.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, she'll be grabbing the equipment. I'll be running for
the door.
Speaker 7 (01:43):
No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
I'm actually I'm actually pretty uh.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
I've had enough experiences where things will won't phaze me
like people will be jumping out of their skin and
I say this now, but I'm usually pretty good stuff anyway. Yes,
at this point we would want to encourage anybody that
has a story. We talked to a few people in
crowds if they don't mind coming up and telling stories.
If we could start with Terry, Terry, would you mind
(02:09):
coming up and sharing your story at the Old Street Jail?
Thanks Terry.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Him. My name is Jerry, and I worked for the
justice system for thirty years wow, and I had periods
of time where I'd worked with the Bond Street Jail
if any of you have taken a tour there. More interestingly,
I worked in Headingley Jail and whether you know it
(02:46):
or not, Hettingly Jail is the execution center for Manitoba.
They executed over thirty inmates in those glorious years of
no rehabilitation, and sadly there was probably even more suicides
(03:07):
in heading Lee during most years. So it's a very
strange place that night. Uh. Everything from when you're making
a security round walking through the rings, you can feel
somebody run.
Speaker 8 (03:21):
Up behind you, and many times you would have a
a what was called a punch clock and you would
never wear the strap around your neck.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
You would have a wrapped around your hand. And the
sensation of somebody running up on you was so strong.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's been around.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Looking to hit them, and of course there's nobody there.
I have a great story works for everyone.
Speaker 9 (03:48):
There was a.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Let's set the stage for you. If there's an area
at the prison about as they was this hall. The
one section was a medical section, and then the next
section was a psychiatric section. The psychiatric section was just
individual self. There really wasn't.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
A lot of help for mental health in.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
The medical section. There was an inmate Boll called friend.
Fred was in the process of dying and he had
a guard that always used to talk to him all
the time. And we'll car that guard him. So Jim
was checking on him. One day he came in on
(04:39):
day shift and sure enough Fred is dead. Kay, So
we'll move along.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
We have another inmate.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
We had a brain canst and our genius justice decided
that a man dying of brain cancer for breaking into
a house, he needed two years in jail. So this
fellow was basically received death sentence. So he had spent
some time with us in anyway, and he got to
the point where he was so sick he had to
(05:08):
send him to the health science and but he figured
we'd never see him again. Well, he started acting up
part of the brain pancer. He would act out, not
by it, he wanted to.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
But this was part of his health, believe it or not.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
He was sent back to spend his last days of
his life in a prison. So PRIs in a prison
penny of time and he's locked the psychiack himself, so
he has virtually no comforts in life. So he goes
off into as people do with brain pancer, his suffering,
his babbling, his carrying on as somebody does. And it
(05:48):
was very, very sad to see. So now I'm gonna
go back to that dark gym. The gym goes into
the safe Jactor center and his checking on this inmate
and he's saying to him, how are you doing? And
this inmate turned around in his delusions and everything else
and says, you're gym. Well I was just talking to
(06:13):
Frank and Fred said you're a big guy. So Jim
steining there, this is like three o'clock in the morning.
How do you know this other inemy?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
How would you know.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Anything about whatever went on with this other enemy. But
Jim came out of there, and he's a guy that
didn't leave anythy of this stuff.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
And for the rest of his career it was.
Speaker 10 (06:35):
What the hell.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
And so for the rest of us to work in correction,
and we saw that there was these situations where we
would have people and we would have these situations where
there were things going on in jail very much became believers. Now,
very recently my father in law passed. Now I have
no doubt, no doubt from my experiences and a filter
(07:00):
de jail, but he's doing a much better place and
age where it was for how many years that there
is something beyond.
Speaker 11 (07:10):
What we know.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
So whether any of the songs like were real real
to you, or whether the sounds like bullshit, whatever, but
I've been my experience working in person.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Thank you, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
H that's awesome. I think, yeah, Like, I mean, how
can you just see that? That's awesome. O. I was
gonna make one other comment about I knew somebody that
wasn't Hemingy for a real well no names, and they
would tell me, you know, they weren't in isolation or
(07:48):
anything like that, but they would be with you know,
I guess give four tuer so I I can't remember
what they told me. But in any event, you know,
there's some nights that he'd be laying there just you know,
thinking about things or whatever, and quite calm, and he'd
hear a noise and he'd actually see I know, you
don't like the orble thing, but he'd see like a
(08:09):
ball of light go through his wall the cell and
go out the other way.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
And he was perplexed, but he was comforted.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
But he knew that there was he wasn't alone in
that jail cell, like, because there was like spirits of
the departed and all this kind of stuff. So yeah, like,
I mean, spirits are everywhere, right, So yeah, totally totally
for sure. Anybody else want to come up and.
Speaker 9 (08:37):
Share a story?
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Is it Karen?
Speaker 10 (08:40):
You want to?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
She's got a good story. She's got a couple. We've
had her on our podcast before and she's got you
up oh stories, so ooh nice.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Not from the slaughter from.
Speaker 9 (09:00):
Know I'll stand okay, but any care here, welcome, Thank you?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Okay. I I'm Karen, and there's my daughter Callie.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
And anyway, my first experience with UFOs was when I was.
Speaker 11 (09:19):
A teenager and uh. In high school, grade nine, and
I grew up on a farm.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
So my mom and.
Speaker 11 (09:32):
Dad were harvesting and I decided, well, uh, I'll make
up prefer them and take it out to the field.
Speaker 9 (09:41):
And uh so, well that was eating.
Speaker 11 (09:45):
I hopped on the combine with them, and we're from
the combine and you know, the farm is over there,
and we s all of a sudden, I see this
light come from the sky and it was the same
colors as up and up there, but rotating, and it
(10:10):
was above the road and it went from where we
were from the sky down, followed the road up until
pasted our place to the Broken Head River. And I
told mom that, I says, oh my god, that's a UFO,
And well, my mom's from the generation that.
Speaker 9 (10:35):
Those kind of things don't existing.
Speaker 11 (10:38):
And so a couple of years, a couple of weeks later,
Mom then told me they had talked to their neighbors,
Julian and Vicki, and Julian dad an interesting episode where
(10:58):
he is on the road going to the river and
there's a UFO came down and followed the road, and
he went after the UFO and followed it to the
river to the bridge and it turned to the river
(11:19):
and just followed the.
Speaker 9 (11:21):
River around the band. So that was my first experience.
Speaker 11 (11:28):
And then a number of years later, my husband and
I we have a fire pit, and my sister and
a husband kay.
Speaker 9 (11:40):
For a visit, and we were sitting around the fire
pit and I was telling.
Speaker 11 (11:46):
We were talking about UFO experiences and blah blah other
people that they have heard and our experience. And I
cleaned back on my chair and I looked up at
the sky and it was cloudy, intermittent cloud you know,
and the moon was out, and so every so often
(12:08):
the moon would shine through and I'm looking and the moon,
the clouds parted.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
And the moon was there, and all.
Speaker 11 (12:19):
Of a sudden, I see five dots and they were.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
Like plane tag it's.
Speaker 11 (12:31):
And I told my husband and my sister and brother
in law look up there where the moon is, said,
you'll see those dots and they are those are.
Speaker 9 (12:40):
UFOs and they're flying around there, you know, And.
Speaker 11 (12:44):
They couldn't see it, but it was like as plain
as the nose in your face.
Speaker 9 (12:51):
I mean, you couldn't miss it.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
And so that was then.
Speaker 11 (12:57):
And I have a friend, now this is now, and
we go she's experienced UFOs, and so we decided to
hop in the car because she has done this with
another friend.
Speaker 9 (13:13):
But she got too scared, so I said, okay, I
won't be chicken.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I'll come with you.
Speaker 11 (13:19):
And we were driving around during the night and she
would point out hotspots. And now this is down the
forty four Highway East, going to like the Bonnie and
so we're traveling down there, and.
Speaker 9 (13:36):
We stopped because I spotted.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Some movements.
Speaker 9 (13:43):
So we stopped to see is it a plane or
is it a UFO?
Speaker 11 (13:48):
And she has a thing on her phone that tells
you what's planes are up near or whatever, and so
I started taking pictures and couldn't make out anything. So anyway,
we carried on and we stopped about three times. And afterwards,
(14:10):
when I got home, I started looking at my photos,
and sure enough, there was one with three lights. And
then there was another one video moving along and it
had lights.
Speaker 9 (14:27):
And I had a really good one, and I buggered.
Speaker 11 (14:32):
It up on my phone a video and it too
and you could see it going across the sky and
it was lights as well, and.
Speaker 9 (14:45):
Yeah, that's weird. That's pretty here. I want to but
ghost stores, if I can just mention one that I haven't.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yes, my.
Speaker 11 (14:59):
Dad had passed away, Oh, it would be almost ten
years now, and my mom being she's what's ninety one,
she's passed now. But so she at home by herself,
and so we would, my sisters and I would take
turns going and helping her, you know, housework and all
(15:22):
that kind of stuff. And so my job was doing her,
doing her hair. So anyway, when we were finished, we
were having coffee and she said, you know, she said,
I had a really interesting visitor last night.
Speaker 9 (15:40):
And I says, what do you mean visitor? And she says,
I had a visitor.
Speaker 11 (15:45):
I was in bed and she slept with lights on.
There were lights on in the bedroom, lights on in
the hallway, and lights on in the bathroom.
Speaker 9 (15:54):
And she says, yeah, she says, and it just was
at the foot of the bed and it was bright.
It was just white, white at the foot of the bed.
Speaker 11 (16:07):
And she says, you know, And she looked at me
and I said, well, I says, you know what, maybe
that was Dad just checking on you to make sure
you're okay. And three weeks later she died.
Speaker 9 (16:24):
Mm hmmm, so.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
I know, there you go.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
I said, don't you.
Speaker 7 (16:40):
Sure, I won't believe.
Speaker 12 (16:44):
You you know, you know, I don't have anything the Lord, So.
Speaker 13 (17:00):
That was more creepy people then goes side there. This
was actually out when I was going to school in Ontario.
But I was walking to a class and I was
outside and there's a building that was all made of
glass so you'd be able to see your reflection in it.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
And so it was in the middle of the day.
Speaker 13 (17:23):
I believe it was during reading week, so there was
like virtually no one on campus, just pretty much me
and the work staff. And so I'm walking past these
building things and I like, I check the glass to
see if there's anybody behind me, just because I'm.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
A paranoying person.
Speaker 13 (17:38):
And I look and there is a man like walking
in step with me, and he has like a cane
and a top hat and he's walking like kind of
like he's got like a little bit of a pimp
walk going on. And I was like, how did I
not notice this person before this moment?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
And so I looked at like over my shoulder, and
there's no one there.
Speaker 13 (17:59):
I look back and my function man's is still there.
And so we walked for about three feets before I
look back and hip walking guy's gone wo Yeah, that's
a pretty cool short story.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
But that's all I got. Pretty cool.
Speaker 7 (18:19):
Have you ever hear any stories shirt see the burned?
Speaker 2 (18:24):
I had a couple of questions. Oh yeah, I.
Speaker 12 (18:29):
Saws and what you saw?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Described it the same way the neighborhood over the u
fu Yeah, y.
Speaker 11 (18:38):
Yes, identical and ident Yes, film the rope he went
after it.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
And then it was uh cuttory m over.
Speaker 14 (18:47):
The rope and he followed it to the bridge and
then had turned and followed the the u of full turned.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
And followed the river.
Speaker 11 (19:00):
Okay, And the second question would be saying you others
when you s said that you saw the five lights
by the the moot h.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
As did the people with you not see it because
of the cloud covered it again?
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Or they just but you know they still see it?
You bout well, I'm explaining to them where it is,
do you know.
Speaker 11 (19:19):
I'm describing the clouds and the moon is there, so
they are just maybe I would say, about uh four o'clock.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
And they couldn't see you, I couldn't see.
Speaker 9 (19:32):
It, but they were they were like five moon.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Thoughts just mm buzzing around.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
You know.
Speaker 7 (19:39):
Yeah, thank you, thank you? Anybody else?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Yeah, huh, well, I'm just gonna add something to my
mom's story, so sure.
Speaker 8 (19:49):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (19:49):
Twenty years later, I see the same thing as my mom,
only I see them I'm in I'm.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
In the same location as my mom first, and in
the distance I see, you know, the circle of the
lights difficult to what my mom described is up there.
Speaker 11 (20:02):
And it was one moment here, the next moment was
like way over.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
There, and then way over there again, and it's just
like pool boom boom, And I'm like, cool, this is
not wrong, right.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Because you don't see things with that kind of color,
and you're just telling that story.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
You made me go ooh, you can't believe, because yeah,
it's interesting, yeah, very cool, very cool. And it's also
close to the White Shell and Falcon Lake. We're all
that craziness now and right, so maybe there's a little
hot spot there, kay. And plus I was in the country.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
I mean, you know, when you're out on the countryside,
you're gonna have probably the most best opportunity to see
stuff rights.
Speaker 7 (20:37):
With the city, white lights and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
So it's all right, awesome, thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (20:43):
Would you like to share some of your story, Slash?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Sure, Yes, oh, which one should we share? You're gonna
talk about your house? Sure?
Speaker 9 (20:56):
Uh so yeah.
Speaker 6 (20:58):
The way I got involved with Winnipeg Parahormals, I was
actually a client. So myself and my husband, we're living
in a house we had moved in when our son
was about one and a half two, And I always
start by saying, like, we lived in an apartment before that,
and we had hung blankets over his window, so his
(21:20):
room was always like pitch.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
Black, and that is important to the story. So we
moved into the house.
Speaker 6 (21:30):
He gets his own bedroom, the windows just covered by blinds,
nothing major, just enough.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
To keep like you know, your street lights out, normal
blinds and that.
Speaker 6 (21:41):
And after a little while living there, he starts to
ask us for a night light and we're like, well,
you know, what's going on, Like, why why the night
light with you know, we had this pitch black room before.
Now you have more light now, but you know what's
going on? And he looks at us, just straight faced,
just like, you know, why don't you know this?
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Mom?
Speaker 4 (22:04):
The dark man comes out of my closet. I was like, okay,
So we got.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Light and then we started noticing things pick up a
little bit more, you know, noises that we thought we're
just the house settling or you know, we were in
a side by side, so okay, well, maybe that noise
is the neighbors. We started to realize that these noises
were not what we thought. We started hearing what sounded
like a dance party on our over our heads when
(22:31):
we were in the basement and there was nobody up.
You know, our youngest was born, and he, you know,
do the mom thing. Had take him out into the
living room in the middle of the night and you know,
give him his bottle, and I'm rocking in the chair,
and you know, you do the arm.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Test, right, moms know that.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
I mean, he's fallen asleep, and you do the arm
test to see if they're actually like out.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
And so you don't give another couple of minute after
I do the arm test, and then all of a sudden, his.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
Eyes just opened wide open and he's looking over my
shoulder and he's laughing at something.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
It's like, okay, getting creeped out.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
You can go to bed now.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:22):
We had our radio turn on by itself a couple
of nights in a row, and we realized that an
alarm had been set for this. You know, our radio
and normally you'd say, oh, well, that's normal whatever.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
The kids played with the remote.
Speaker 6 (23:40):
Or the buttons, but the only lead to turn an
alarm on on this radio was with the remote control
that we had lost when we moved.
Speaker 10 (23:50):
So yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:55):
And then the one thing that really like kind of
cemented it, like we have to get somebody in here
was when I was laying in bed one night. Kids
were asleep, you were downstairs or in the bath or something,
when I was laying in bed and something sat on
the bed beside me and it was heavy enough that
(24:16):
I rolled.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
To the middle of the bed and there was nothing there.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
So yeah, I contacted Winnipeg Paranormal Group and Kelly came
out along with some of the other team members and
I feel loved to telling your story that thought of it.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Sure my voice is a little hoarse, sorry.
Speaker 8 (24:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (24:41):
So this was early on when I had really just
started investigating with the team, and I was.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Still kind of questioning things. Even though I had experienced
different things in the past, I was still kind of like,
what am I doing? Why am I doing this? I
wanted to believe. I wanted to know that some more validation.
Speaker 10 (25:05):
So we were at her house, which first of all,
it was it was a very strange house, like it
had like this weird hallway.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
It just it kind of hat like a fun house.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Of fact, everybody was afraid.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
To walk down.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
I didn't care because I was always like, yay, this
is scary.
Speaker 10 (25:23):
I'm doing this, which is funny because somebody said, you're
so tiny, and I'm like, yeah, that's it's usually the
tiniest ones that are a little braver than them, because
I was. It was me and like all these big
guys at the time in our room. So we were investigating,
(25:45):
like she had told us different things. And we're always
worried when there's little kids involved, because we want them
to feel comfortable in their own homes.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
We don't want them being scared, right, And.
Speaker 10 (25:56):
We did call it the dark Man case, and so
we were all in her bed by this time. It
was probably like two or three in the morning. We
really didn't have any activity yet as of yet, and
we didn't have.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
A lot of equipment back then either, and some of
the equipment that we did have stuff was like losing
its charge.
Speaker 10 (26:20):
Of course, that's when things started going to offering and
one of the investigators that was next to me started hyperventilating.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
And I was like, are you okay? Are you okay?
Speaker 10 (26:31):
And he was like pointing, and I guess he when
he tried to get his composure, he said something was
grabbing its hand.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
And then another.
Speaker 10 (26:40):
Investigated gator across the room, he just turned white as
a ghost and he said something grabbed him.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
And I looked up into her ceiling. And you know
that movie Poltergeist. Has anybody seen that movie?
Speaker 5 (26:59):
Love?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
But we always checked windows. We want to explain everything
away first. We have them turn off things, we have
them turn off the internet. We see if there's like
any heat or air conditioning running. But there was that scene.
Speaker 10 (27:16):
This is what it looked like to make that scene
in Poltugeist when it looks like a cloud that went
into the ceiling.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Do you guys remember that, and like things were falling
through it. That's exactly what I.
Speaker 10 (27:28):
Saw in her bedroom. And I was like, I'm trying
not to swear right now, but yeah, so I was
more excited than freaked out. Everybody else is freaked out.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
One of the.
Speaker 10 (27:40):
Investigators that was touched never investigated with us age.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
I guess you didn't expect to experience anything.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
You don't know how you're going to react until it
happens to you.
Speaker 10 (27:53):
Right for anybody here that has experienced of the things,
you don't know how you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Feel after that, like are you really wanting to do this?
But in that moment, I thought, Okay, well, we don't
have any other equipment on it.
Speaker 10 (28:07):
I'm gonna grab my phone and I took a bunch
of pictures and one of the pictures looked like there
was like a little girl like standing on her bed,
like you could see the outline.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
It looked like she had like a nightgown on.
Speaker 10 (28:20):
And one of the other other investigators later on, when
when I was like showing them in this picture, he said,
I didn't want to tell you guys, but I knew
someone who lived in that place previously, and he said
he used to see a little girl in the basement
walking around and it really freaked him.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
And I was like, holy crap, it was total validation
for me. And another time we went back, cause we
went back several.
Speaker 10 (28:48):
Times, and that that's usually how the cases go on,
Like what you see on TV, you're usually going back
at least two or three times for investigations.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
At people's homes.
Speaker 10 (29:00):
Another time we recorded a voice that was it always
seemed to be in that bedroom. I mean there were
noises and stuff in the basement as well, but there
was a little girl, like a little girl's voice, like
you could hear it outright, just like sitting next to us. Yeah,
so we we got a lot of like female young
(29:24):
but we.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
We can never there's just there's a lot of hard
information to find.
Speaker 10 (29:31):
Yeah, but it was nice to at least have we
had that recording of that, and then we had a
picture and yeah, that was one of the first really
good investigations.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
That's what really pushed me over the edge. I'm like,
I'm in, I'm all the way at one hundred and
fifty percent. So that was our story. You have a
question or story, Sure, did you get rid of what
was happening? Stop, but then you have to move.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
It was like what happened we well, we moved, but
several years later, so we kind of just.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Made an agreement, like you.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Don't bother my kids or me and you could stay.
Speaker 10 (30:11):
Most people, most of our clients, most of our clients
don't want to get rid of it.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
They actually.
Speaker 10 (30:19):
They say that they just didn't want to feel like
they were crazy, and they said they'll respect whatever lives here.
I know that there was one investigation where we were
both on that was pretty It was pretty intense.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I got physically sick and dizzy. She didn't feel well
in some aspects, like I had to actually leave the
house for a few minutes to get myself back together
and go back in.
Speaker 10 (30:49):
And the clients didn't want to do anything because it
scared them so much. And I had seen them a
few years later and they said they just sold the house.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
They just didn't even wanted to deal with it.
Speaker 10 (31:03):
So these things can be pretty intense and can scare
people so much that they're just like, I'm out see
you later.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Do you have to get new owners contact you about
the same hubs. We've never had anything like that.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
We have had.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
Clients who have moved themselves and they've contacted us again
in their new home.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
Like, yeah, sometimes it's not that it was just followed them,
it's that it was already attached to them.
Speaker 6 (31:45):
So, for example, if somebody's a medium and maybe they're
not aware of it or maybe they don't acknowledge it,
there's still a beacon out there, so they can bring
stuff along with them.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
And don't even do it on purpose. I have another question,
But you said you heard a little girl's voice. Was
that on the recording that you heard it or did
you actually hear it? No, we could hear it, yeah, yeah,
it was both. So they kept they were just it
was just like a side like I was sitting here
(32:19):
and somebody else was sitting here.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
It was, and all of a sudden we could.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Hear we could hear a little girl like just in between.
Speaker 10 (32:28):
You two in between us as if like cause I
have kids and I it sounded like, you know, yeah,
somebody's kid.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
We were just like, oh did you hear that?
Speaker 2 (32:39):
We're just like hello, Hello, Yeah, you're welcome.
Speaker 6 (32:46):
Any other questions, yes, oh yeah, you have a story,
Come on up.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Ooh what your name?
Speaker 3 (33:02):
My name is Leila, Leila Lena, but your name samaricam okay.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
So just for a little bit of contacts.
Speaker 15 (33:10):
My house that we live in now is over one
hundred years old and actually used to be a doctor's office.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Was one of the first doctors in trying.
Speaker 9 (33:17):
To go in Actually oh cool wow, And so.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
There's been a lot of activity there.
Speaker 15 (33:23):
I think the person that got the worst of it
happened to my brother. He would sleep down in the
basement and every single night he would claim that somebody
was trying to grab him. He would also complain that
there was somebody down there playing the drums because we
used to have drum set down there. Nobody was down
there except.
Speaker 9 (33:42):
For him obviously, right, And hmm, this.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Is these are just like a little bunch of short
those stories. Yeah, there was one time my mom was
doing like she.
Speaker 15 (33:51):
Does a lot of like cricket stuff, like the arts
and crafts. There was one time she was doing that
in the dining room and she left to track something
that was in his other room. She came back and
her tweezers were sticking on the.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Back of his chair. There was one time.
Speaker 15 (34:09):
This one was actually something that I saw. We used
to have like a little kind of like living room
near the kitchen. So I was walking out there. It
was like maybe ten pm, and I look out the
window and I saw my dad standing out there. So
I'm like, okay, that's mird.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
So I go upstairs. My dad's around the bedroom where
my mom is. I'm like, why why is he outside?
She says to me, He's not outside, He's in the basemroom.
Speaker 15 (34:38):
But yeah, I very clearly saw my father stam May
outside right in the window up right.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Yeah, so that was kind of scary. There's also just
been a lot of like just items moving around. As
I was telling you, I have this doll. Her name
is Theodora. She is about me.
Speaker 7 (35:01):
She told us she was about like ten years old.
Speaker 15 (35:04):
She we were doing the stus nothing. She actually told
us how she passed away. Unfortunately it was due to
a hunting accident. But I she actually likes to playing
with cause I have a collection of lost he high dolls. Okay,
she likes to go around and play with them and
you'll move.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Them and all that. It's actually really cute cause I
I I.
Speaker 15 (35:24):
Love the fact that she enjoys them and that she
feels comfortable with the into playing with them.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Okay, I've actually also seen her there.
Speaker 15 (35:30):
This one time I woke up and there was just
this girl just starting just to stand my bed, not
doing anything, just kind of looking at me. I didn't
none of the spirits that I've had experience would have
ever been negative towards me at least, So she's just
kind of standing there and I just I look at
her like, oh, I just roll.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Over them back to sleep, right, Yeah, and uh, do
you wanna talk about what you've seen? Sure?
Speaker 9 (35:59):
I didn't this CLENSI So.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
I'm always at Las house. And there's a time.
Speaker 16 (36:05):
Where we were in the living room and you know
it's the dog is kind of like acting there.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
And so.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
What's that thing that we use, the propontic?
Speaker 4 (36:18):
Yeah, it's like an app.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
That is it the girl bred? Yes, yeah, you need
to necrophonics, yeah.
Speaker 15 (36:30):
Nic app that it's like a spirit box, but it's
called Dacrophonic. You can download it on your phone and
it works to the exact says.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
Like a spirit box one. And what does the spirit
box do?
Speaker 15 (36:42):
Basically a spirit box is it goes through different radio
frequencies and it can pick up like different words.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
So if the spirit is trying to contact you, they
can manipulate.
Speaker 15 (36:52):
Depending on their energy, littles can manipulate the radio frequencies to.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Make out words. It's like a modified mind.
Speaker 10 (37:01):
Not to like if it's not the app, but it's yeah,
like we use it and it just looks like a
little like radio shock radio and it will go fast
or slower front words backwards.
Speaker 6 (37:10):
Maybe you can try it after see do you have
knuckophonic ya or is it on the other one?
Speaker 2 (37:16):
Is that the other one?
Speaker 5 (37:17):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (37:17):
Okay, So.
Speaker 9 (37:21):
We just started using it.
Speaker 16 (37:22):
And this is how we call it the Being family
for reason. It's a bunch of these friendly spirits.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
And there's this one girl.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
She's older. She was like roughly like mid twenties, yeah,
mid twenties, and her name is Michelle. I've seen her friend. Actually,
she was in Layla's room that's alive, but she was
talking about how much you actually.
Speaker 16 (37:46):
Love Layla's animals and sh there's a specific couch in
Layla's living around that she loves and it's called the
rich couch cause it's being read. And she told us
she was gonna go sit there and that she wants
to pet Layla's doll Lily, and Lily got up. She
was like near you, I believe, yeah, And she went
over to the red couch and she like right beside it.
Speaker 10 (38:08):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (38:09):
And then.
Speaker 15 (38:11):
So Lily, she only has three lays and sometimes when
you pet her you can see her son moving. When
she went and laid down, her stuff started moving like
somebody was petting her.
Speaker 9 (38:22):
Oh you know her like don's get excited, yeah, like
you know people.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
Oh yeah, it happens quite a quite a lot. Actually
they really love it almost.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
Oh that is that's beautiful and sad.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (38:33):
Then there's times where like when we use the ad,
we hear really negative things, like one time we had
to soft this because it was very like in speaking Latin.
They usually when they speak Latin to you, that's been all.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Good and I need they want that out of your house. Guys,
out of your house.
Speaker 9 (38:51):
My son speaks Latin. It's about tricky, but like usually
you're here. Usually when a sound human gotcha.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Yes and you usually was like for example.
Speaker 16 (39:03):
Like Christians and everything, when there's the experience speaking Latin,
it's considered like more like negative demon energy and.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Most likely coming after you.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
I didn't end up with scratches on.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
My leg and that was not very nice.
Speaker 16 (39:20):
For so another time where I got an attachment from
Layla's house.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
And uh it was it was bothering me. I lived
with my Auntie at this time and it would stop
me at night. But in you, I wasn't really afraid
of it.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
So we attacked me.
Speaker 16 (39:37):
In my dreams actually, and they got me so frustrated to.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
The point where I wished at Leila and we did
some cleansing and it finally went away.
Speaker 16 (39:48):
But it's weird because after I also told my auntie,
she also witnessed weird things happening.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Around the apartment. Stuff moving and like just dream things
and stuff like that, interesting things together.
Speaker 9 (40:02):
How long have you lived in that house?
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Four fourteen years?
Speaker 9 (40:05):
Fourteen years? Yeah, and you've always consistently seen things.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
Yes. Wow, there's actually one more thing.
Speaker 15 (40:12):
So it all started when I was really really little,
Like when we first moved in, I was about five
years old. I cause for the first five years of
my life I lived with my grandparents. I was never
a sleep walker or nothing like that. The second we
moved into that house, I started sleepwalking and having nightcares.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
M Yeah, that's about it.
Speaker 7 (40:30):
Oh well, thank you for sharing, you care, Thank you,
crazy fool story.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
That's scary. It is a great story. Ten minutes, ten minutes, laters.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Okay, I wanna share a quick story in preparation for
tonight because it's our first night at King's Head. Obviously,
I tried to prepare as much and back when we
started the podcast, I think it was probably the second year,
and somebody reached out to us by the name of
Kelly Dreadful, that's.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
His gamer name or something.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Anyway, he has stories about He shared stories with us about.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
The old church in Saint Andrews, which was pretty creepy.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
They recorded voices out there in the cemetery late at night,
and don't suggest to do that because.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
That's what they call off trust, it's trespassing. Thank you,
We do not recommend that, and then all semant when
he's like, oh, by the way.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
I worked at the King's Hit in two thousand and
three and I could never go in the basement again
because something was watching me and dishes in the whole bit, right,
So it was just like you know, so ever since then,
always fascinated with stories about the King's Hit because like,
there's obviously something here.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
It'll be interesting when we play this backer.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
When I edit, sometimes you pick up things, right, So
we've picked up voices at the Daldnert many years ago,
which was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
Pissed off his spirit there, so I got to go
back and make them hymns at some point.
Speaker 7 (41:55):
Shit happens.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
One story I want to share with you because doing
the podcas.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
You talk to people and just all of a sudden
they'll just like tell you a story like just you know,
and you know you can't reach for the phone fasten
ever record it. I did that to Karen at Colleen's
house one time.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
I'm like, let me record that.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
There's a fellow that lives out in the Winnipeg Beach
area that I know, and we're just talking to he
knows I've got the podcast or we have the podcast.
All of a sudden he just breaks, like breaks into
the song and starts selling the story. He goes, you know,
one time I went camping with a bunch of guys,
about six or seven of us went camping out in
Nudamic and he says, you know, we were just coming
back from the beach or whatever, and there's a lot
(42:35):
of trails right, like there's like little hiking trails, and
there's like mountains, not mountains, but like cliffs and stuff,
and you know, he said, it was like dust time.
They were coming back. They were heading back to their campsite,
and then all of a sudden, everything just like what
and everything like the birds stopped, the wind stopped. It
was like they were like in some kind of weird
time zone, he said. He said, everything just got really
(42:57):
eerily still, and then out of nowhere, a girl runs past,
some walks past them, and again, you know, like these
six or seven guys, they were just toddling along. They
weren't running, they weren't walking, but they were definitely on
this trail by themselves that whole time. This girl appears
out out of nowhere. She's wearing like older beach clothes
or something like that. And as she's walking by, she
(43:19):
says to them, do you know what time it is?
And as you know, they're searching for their watches or looking,
they look up. She's gone, right, They didn't see her head,
they didn't see her behind them, Like that was freaky
because it was time with everything just standing still and
everything quiet.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
So then they get to the campsite area or whatever,
and there's like.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
A park ranger or whatever, and now they're concerned about
this girl, right because she seemed a little distressed, you know,
wanting to know the time, and she's nowhere to be found,
Like where'd she go?
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Does she wander off? So they tell the park ranger
and they're like, you know, there was this girl up
on one of the trails. She was there and then
she was gone.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
We're kind of concerned about her and then goes a
girl by herself and they're like yeah. And then the
park ranger goes, what's a date and they're like, well,
it's May twenty second, he goes, oh, May Long weekend.
He says, yeah, she came back again. She comes back
every May Long Weekend to nutemic. Apparently twenty years before that,
she was some friends goofing around on one of the
cliffs or whatever, and she lost her footing, she fell
(44:16):
and she died.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
And that's the ghost that kind of watches the trails
on May Long Weekend.
Speaker 17 (44:20):
A nudemic.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
Anyway, cool, pred be cool, and the other are stories.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
Before you finish off, we're going to do a draw.
Did ere Bed get a chance to do a draw
for a T shirt? If you want a T shirts?
They're pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
Any other stories, any of the comments, any other.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Questions for the Winnipeg Parron. But they've got a very
experience here, like they've seen it, you know, and just
to also promote them, they do public investigations. And the
nice thing about when they do the public investigations, the
locations that they normally work with any money that they
may goes have to like save the Saint Saint James Museum.
(45:04):
It helps them out and the other half, the other
half of the money goes to the group so they
can actually afford to buy newer equipment and gas money
to get to some of these gigs out and like
Brandon and stuff. So I mean they're doing this out
of the kindness, is a hurt and at their time.
So I highly recommend if you ever get a chance
to come out to a public investigations really because it's
(45:25):
actually pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
So yeah, kudos to the my pic Para home group.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
So I guess we'll make a we'll make a draw
if my lovely and talented Oh you have a question?
Speaker 18 (45:40):
Sorry, sure, come on till start, Come on, okay Jessica
by Jessica Hold the World.
Speaker 17 (45:56):
So before years here, around this time of year, my
dad passed away. But like all along weird, they started
happening after they had passed away. So in the house,
my mom around that time had washed all the curtains
and then she switched them out, and there was one
curtain near the washroom that for like three weeks it
(46:17):
just kept falling.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
So I was in the washroom and the door was open,
it would fall and me and my mom were kind
of just like.
Speaker 19 (46:24):
I understand, but she was kind of went through in
an overwhelming situation at that time because my dad, like
she had to deal with like the car insurance and like.
Speaker 7 (46:35):
All this other stuff that was just kind of frustrating
at the time.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
And so it would fall we three.
Speaker 17 (46:40):
Times during the day and I felt like put back up,
and it was only the it was the one curtain
that was falling and everything else was fine. So at
one point my mom was just like she just started
crying because George she just helped me like figuring this
all out, because we had to bring his ashes back
to the Philippines and that it was like, oh yeah,
a whole thing because we don't have to open a
(47:02):
consulate here or something.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
It was a really long process. She had already bought
her ticket, so she had to figure that out.
Speaker 17 (47:08):
And so me and my brother and my mom were
just kind of standing there after fell and and she
just she just needed to give them help me.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
So after that it stopped falling.
Speaker 17 (47:19):
In Catholicism is the forty days after forty days of path,
like after you had passed away, And coincidentally, his forty
days fell on my birthday and My birthday is the
day after Canada Day, so at the time I went
(47:39):
to go see the fireworks un July first with my
partner at the time, and I fell asleep at his
house and.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Probably at around midnight, we heard somebody want to knock
on her window and the money. My dad was a
very short man and did not like.
Speaker 17 (47:54):
News, so he's from up this that I was out
and not at home, and I was like, oh god,
the way, I'm gay.
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Did you hear that? I think the book.
Speaker 17 (48:05):
Shopping again in the house, so we both heard it,
but the movie came inside the house.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
And then I got home at about two am and
I sat on the couch.
Speaker 17 (48:13):
My dad always had his spotting at the other end
of the couch, and I turned on the TV.
Speaker 2 (48:18):
I was having away and eat and five minutes into
this movie, the TV just went completely black, but it
was like it was on. It was almost like when
you're switching ah light and then what was going on?
I turned it on and off.
Speaker 17 (48:33):
I could hear my mom watching the TV in the
other room, so I knew it was as a cable
that was acting a on off changed the input and
then it went from a black swoon to red and
green just repeatedly, like switching colors.
Speaker 2 (48:50):
And I loved a scene and I'm like, I'm sorry,
I can't hold way. I'm sorry, I'm my whole my
hearthday and I walk out.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (48:59):
I turned out and I went to My brothers were
just right aside it.
Speaker 17 (49:02):
My brother came home fifteen minutes a reding and I'm like,
oh my god, that's so bad.
Speaker 2 (49:08):
I didn't go homely Tee's ony, this is what you
were talking about. So he turned on the TV and
it was fine, and then I told him when it happened.
He said, no, the TV does that all the time.
Speaker 17 (49:20):
Okay, And maybe five or six years later I had
I asked him about it, and yeah, you remember that
some time then the TV was at a little bird.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
He's like, oh, yeah, no, if he never does that.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
I was also call me down because it just freaking
down and then.
Speaker 17 (49:35):
Uh yeah, so my kids said up like always around.
The One other story that's kind of late, said that
I was I was living at with this way from
now at the time, and he was seeking on the
couch and I was in the bedroom of myself when
any one was like early in the morning.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
And it was four years after it passed away, and
so I woke up like at three am. So it's
what I reasoned. I we're and my back was to
the door, which was open, and for some more like
I would pet the sheet over my head and I.
Speaker 17 (50:08):
Was like, oh, there's somebody standing at the door, and
I don't think that's my boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
I don't wanna look, and so like I kind of
just like looked and there was.
Speaker 17 (50:17):
A living shadow there, like it was like a silhouette
and I'm like, oh, I'm not dealing with this right now.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
So I could the sheet and I go, oh, my head.
I'm like and I'm rationalizing. Within like a minute, I'm like, Okay,
that's yeah, he's here. Why are you here? You're to
pick somebody up. It's either my mom or your brother.
It's not my mom's time. I like, you're here to
pick up my brother? And then I waited five minutes.
