Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh yeah, delivery for you.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Kick. It's the first ever official South Park New Slash
mailbag episode here going down a South Park. I'm Dando
and I'm Guy. Well we all do it.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
We're good, We've made it official.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Fine and Dandy.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Oh I'm finding Dan do.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's just a nice way to just sort of end
the month of fun, bit of banter, talk about what's
been gone on, going down to south Park Studio slash
fourfing a discount and answer some questions and talk about
some South Park news and what not.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Okay, a little bit of your chat. I understand, Yep,
I'm all for it.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Plenty of questions came through this month. We also got
plenty of news topics to cover as well, south Park News,
and we have some shout outs as well of our
incredible supporters on Patreon who haven't become cheesy poos but
have also support us as well on Patreons. So you
get read out on this one, you get your one
time shout out, just.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
A single shout out, so you know, enjoy it. But
but you know, if you want to throw a little
more in the Patreon tip chaw, you might hear your
name again.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Indeed, yes, so let's start off with some with some news,
shall we. So the big one is that South Park
is returning in about a month, so a little bit
more so the middle of July. I'll get the exact
date up now. It returns on July ninth on Comedy Central.
So season twenty seven of South Park is not far away,
and I'm very very excited, and I'm thinking, should we

(01:19):
be reviewing these ones? I feel we need to review
them in real time, and I'm thinking, you know what
we're going to do. I think we might review these
for our supporters on Patreon.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Ah, good, thinking, why.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Wouldn't we do that? So I think at least at
least a couple of them. Anyway, we're going to review
some of the newer ones on our come all, they
continuity as well, have it, you know in the feet
it needs to be in order. So for our supporters
on Patreon, you'll get them early. You get the season
twenty seven reviews early if you support us on Patreon.
So that launches in July ninth. They put the trailer
out recently. Is what did you see the trailer?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I have not? Okay, so yeah, that's bad news. But
that killed the conversation Stone did.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
But they have reviewed a few things about the about
the new season as well.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
In the trailer, I'm aware of some of the things
they are going to be talking it and covering in
this new.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Is one of them. Oh boy, that's going to be
a big one. I reckon. No one's going to be
safe in that.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
They haven't really covered Diddy in the past, have they.
I've certainly covered other Oh that they did a fair
bit on r Kelly. Not a plain everybody with the
same brush or anything like that, but I think did
he might be sort of a law unto himself or
a case unto himself. But war with Canada, well, you
know that's kind of an evergreen thing with with South
Park air traffic control chaos, which is a very up

(02:27):
to the minute topic. Yeah, there's gonna be something about
tariffs in there, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Well it was there is about America trying to take
over Canada in the tariff's aspect, but they a war
of Canada. I think they mentioned it. But the air
traffic control that kind of feels dated. Now the plant,
why are planes just falling out of the sky?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Oh yeah. The news the news cycle is so sort
of turning so quickly these days.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
What's a new recent news topic that could be covered,
Like did he just feels perfect for South Park? Yeah,
there's also one that you don't want just slapt together
at last minute. You want to put some thought into
that one. So I'm glad they're sort of doing it
a bit quicker than just the week before.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I imagined some AI stuff would be would be interesting.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Kind of over the AI stuff though, No, no, but
I'm sure they'd find a way to tackle it in
a new and interesting and fresh manner. The AI, well
they did that with the chat GBT episode though, I
guess yeah, the whole episode was written by chat g GBT.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, well, I've done. They've done their past.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
That's pretty much the ultimate parody of AIS and not
just letting AI write an episode. That's right. The sad
thing was it got to the end and I went
I knew something didn't quite feel right, but I still
would have bought it as a south And that's the
scary thing about AI is, Oh, it's at that point
where you know something's not quite there, but it's believable enough.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Well, there's that thing going around at the moment, and
this made me old news by the time we talk
about this. But there was like a clip either on
TikTok or one of those which was you know those
street interview things where it's like someone comes up in
the street with the microphones, like, Hey, have you heard
about this new thing that's going on TikTok. It's called
the AI Prompt Challenge and everyone's like, oh, yeah, I've
heard about that. That's not it. No, but it means
that we're all actually prompts and you know that we're

(04:08):
we're living in a simulation. Nah, noah, I don't believe that. Again,
you're watching going is this the way people act these days?
Or is there something not quite right about this? And
then you get to the very end it's like, oh, yeah,
this whole thing was actually divine devised by AI. This
is a series of commands and this is what came
out as a result.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Like I knew something wasn't quite there, but I still
kind of believe that.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
But I went along with it because Yeah, is the
world this weird? Or is this is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah? Butmmy, yeah, as the kids say, oh, we're so cooked,
So I don't even said that anymore. They used to
say that.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
They used to say that five minutes ago. But yeah,
so at the time of recording, that's what the kids
were saying.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
What's what's bigger than news at the moment, I don't
even know. The tariffs is a big one. So they're
going to tackle the tariffs. Ditties all over the news.
There isn't huge news about Diddy at the moment. It's
just it pops up in the Everyone's just waiting for
the trial now. I think everyone's just waiting. Everyone's just
waiting to hear all the juicy details.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
We're already hearing some Absolutely, what else is there?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
It's not because they wanted to avoid the Trump presidency.
In the campaign, they're like, we're going to skip a
year because you'll expect us to.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Yeah, and you hear so many comedians saying it's impossible
to make fun of this guy because he's a walking
joke himself.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah. Well, they take the mentality of it's too easy,
and I feel I feel lazy.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
You know, that's it.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Yeah, and I want to sink to that level. But
they did do an entire, like entire arc about it.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
That's the one else going to come. Oh, I don't know.
It just didn't feel like there's any specific thing that
is constantly being talked about, or if it is being
talked about, it's sort of receded to the third or
fourth item in the news cycle. It's just okay, yeah,
more of this. It's like, yeah, it's not so much
news anymore as just stuff that happens, which is of

(05:57):
course news.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I'll go to a news website and I'll see if
any of these can A South Park thing.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Okay, it's good.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
First thing, our enemies will fear us. Donald Trump drops
chilling military ad. Oh boy, the price of shit going up?
I guess that's just that's just always She's always going
up on price, So isn't it?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
It is? But it feels like it felt like normally
there was a bit of cooperation between Okay, yeah, price
is gonna go up, but we'll jack up your wages
just a little bit. And now it seems that's either
not happening or people just don't have wages.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
So I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Cost of living could be could could be an interesting one.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
We'll leave it to the experts. Tray and Matt shall.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
We they're the ones making some serious bank actually doing this.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, so it's the new season. Premier is in July.
I'm really excited. It just feels like forever. We've had
a few specials, but when I watched the specials, it
doesn't quite feel the same. It just it feels different,
and it's supposed to feel different. It's a special but
I want a season of South Park. So it's nice
they're finally doing episodes again to finally get back in
the saddle. But they have just revealed some news about
putting or you've put your hard to hand up story.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
This may be too close to the bone for a
lot of people to but all these stories about people
trying to maybe get into the US or leave the
US and they're being deported or they're being detained the deportation. Yeah,
South Buck is not afraid to quote unquote go there.
So there's a possibility they could do that. Well, they
sort of did, not a variation on it with the

(07:20):
episode that we just covered with the Christmas in Canada
where people are being relocated from one place or another.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
The priest at armback.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Anyway, that's a possible idea.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
But they're revealed this week that they are going to
allow a fan once again to become a permanent character
in the show. And now the last one wasn't a
permanent character. It was a charity thing, just the one episode. Yeah,
but this one's going to be a permanent one. Say
see this is on comicbook dot Com. Charitable fans have
a chance to come on down to South Park ahead
of the season twenty seven premiere. South Bark Studios, in

(07:52):
partnership with Charity Buzz, is giving fans an opportunity to
be animated into a custom South Park character and to
become a permanent resident of the town the new twenty
twenty five season. The campaign, which runs May twenty one
through to June twenty seventh on Prize Yo Prizio Prizeio,
benefits of the benefits the SoCal Fire Fund and those
affected by the wildfires that devastated La earlier this year.

(08:13):
So it's for a good cause again charity.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah, definitely for a good cause. At the same time,
with all those things you were just saying, then I
felt like you were making sit up, Like imagine you will, like,
Hi guy, David, some charity buzz here. It's like hanging up,
you're a scamp or was it prize Yoh.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
It's like Prizio prezier Yeasia, but for a chance. This
is real, For a chance to win. Fans eighteen years
or old, it can donate to the so Cal fire
fund campaign via the official Prize Yo website. A ten
dollars donation gets you one hundred entries, or twenty five
hundred entries for pledging two hundred fifty dollars. A number
of entries is ten times the amount of the donation.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Wow, I'm with masks.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah. Yes. The winner will be announced on or about
on or about June thirtieth, and will also receive a
poster featuring their new permanent south Byke Carried with the
Boys Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Carbon that is signed by
serious creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Statement on the
Prize Yo page reads, a majority of our crew and
the South Park production studio are in LA and several
people were directly impacted by the fires in Pasadena, which

(09:11):
makes you support and donations even more meaningful. This cause
means a lot to us, and so do the fans
who have supported us all these years. We can't wait
to see you on the show. That'd be cool.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
We could do that. We're eighteen and over.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, and then some do we have one hundred dollars
Kenny g quick Kenny g Holp was that and then
you could go or KG could just Kenny you can
get on the Show's.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
That's what I was thinking, except minute's under the tray
and Matta getting in the Daniel going I need the money. Yes,
it correct. I'm again taking the wrong thing away from this,
but I'm glad that they're taking the guy David's approach
to deadlines by saying on or about.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, so they it says he is the first episode
since their specials last year, which was South Part Not
Suitable for Children back in October. That was October, and
that was December, and South Park the end of Obesity
in May last year. So twenty twenty three, it's been
an entire year since the end of obesity. Doesn't feel
that long. I don't think I've washed all of it, eh,

(10:09):
I don't think I did eat that. Yeah. That's what
I really really enjoyed was Joined the Pandaverse, which like
two years ago, and that was just we did a
very special episode on put a chicken in it and
make a fucking gay gay, okay as fuck. It was
recently announced the new season of South Park will stream
on Paramount Plus as the streaming rights to past seasons
revert from HBO Max to Paramount in the US, and

(10:29):
on July first, it's when it's gonna happen. South Past
Season twenty seven premiere July ninth.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I love this new age of streaming. I was looking
on Netflix last night and like, better hurry up, there's
movies leaving Netflix soon I'm and then looked at some
other side it was like coming soon is this time?
So you're just sort of like handballing these things around
from the streamer to streamer. Yeah, get the feeling there's
something going on that we don't know about you.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Which one doesn't do that? Which one plas that's true? Yeah?
Or you're per personal collection? Yes? All right, So let's
get into some questions, shall we? Hey hit me, Oh,
get back to some more news later. But the first
question here I've got. This one comes from Kady g. Hey,
do you prefer old Randy or integrity Farms? Randy? I

(11:17):
prefer old Randy.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
As do I mean Takenity.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Farms just sort of went It got old real fast
for me it did.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yes, this should have been like how many how many
episodes do you think it went or how many? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
it was too much. It was not a bad idea,
but it was stretched beyond its capabilities.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
I just think South's one of those shows where you
just don't want to make things permanent all too often.
The Simpsons like when they do it, it really does
change the show. We always ask, oh, you know they
should age them up, and you go no.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
No, no, no, no, no no no no no, no, absolutely
not no. I think we both prefer old Randy. I
think this we're coming up and we're starting to get
the sweet spot of Randy. I think now in terms
of like him being a bit sort of buffoonish, a
bit self righteous. Yeah, it's gonna.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
As in where we're reviewing the episode.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, season seven, you know it's going to reach not
necessarily as apex and certainly my one of my favorite
bits is just like thought there's a mirk, yeah, the
wheel of fortune, all that stuff. Yeah, I think once yeah,
once we get to those that, oh god, that's going
to be a fun episode when he's got his giant balls, Yeah,

(12:29):
making him ramping up the buffoonishness. And the stupidity and
the self righteousness I think is good stuff. Integrity Farms
had all that, but it just went on a bit
too long and it was just a tad one note
for mine.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, and you thought you, of all people would have
been a big fan of it.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Well, absolutely, because I'm a big purchaser of Integrity Farm merch.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, so old Randy. I think most fans would say
old Randy, not just because we're old fashioned. I just
think Integrity Farms was an era where I wouldn't say
south Bark lost this way, but I just lost interest
in the show in a bit and when they sort
of revolted, reverted back and sort of went, ah, oh
this is this is South Park again. So Brett Shearer says,

(13:09):
what South Park character do you most identify with? And
why it's hard to identify with just one. There's elements
of various characters that identify with. Sometimes Tartman do shit.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
And I go, I he's on the money.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Yeah, I mean he's taking it too far, but you know,
dude's got a point. He has a point in some way.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I will sometimes feel that way about mister Garrison.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, I mean, you love your dirty Sanchez and that's correct.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yeah, I think it is part of the genius of
the show. It's like, oh, this character is terrible, but
occasionally they'll yeah, be making some kind of sense. I
think it's a reason why, you know, you'll have certain
people like south Park down park of humanity. South Park
is the downfall of humanity because it's got people thinking
this is the right way to act or right way
to behave when it was like, I think that's a

(13:56):
poor takeaway. I think you know, it's really like you
can sometimes get the right answer from entirely the wrong source,
so you've got to keep your antenor up in your
your mind open. Yeah, that's why you don't agree with
everything they do.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
No, I don't know, and I don't, but my mum
often always points out, Oh, I can't stand south Fark.
That can't maan character does this. That can't maan character
does that, And I won't give a mum. He is
the bad guy. They're using him as an example of
don't be like him. Oh, they still shouldn't do it.
I'm like, they're trying to teach you something, yeah, and
make your love at the same time. If Carvin was

(14:32):
the good guy of the episode and they're saying this
is what you should be like, then, yes you should
be bothered by that, but no, he is constantly every
character's going this kid is a piece of shit. Oh yeah,
absolutely worse, Yes, terrible. When you look at the four boys,
if you're watching this as like a twelve year old
or ten year old, which one do you think you
would have related to much?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
If we're talking about the core, I think I'm standing.
I think I'm Kyle Kyle okay for what reason.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Constantly sort of searching for meaning in the universe, wondering
about his particular place in the universe or his place
in the scheme of things, and not that I'm someone
who will latch onto belief systems like oh this will
show me the way, He'll tell me what to do.
But it's like, okay, maybe this part might provide me
with some good advice. As I said, l when I

(15:17):
were in Melbourne the other days, sort of walking around
a lot of people on street corners with tables handing
out copies of the Koran and he was like, you
want one of those? And I'm like, look, I wouldn't
say no.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
It's free.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
It's first of all, it's free.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
How much is this free?

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Picture? It was like, it'll be interesting to find I mean,
I know a little bit about the Koran, like I
know a little bit about the Bible, and I'm a
little bit about the Tourra. But it'd be interesting to
see what these things have in common. But it's like
then I got to carry it. So I'm sorry. Shit
out of luck Islam.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
It is official. We have finally launched Bob's Pods, a
Bob's Burger's podcast, reviewing every episode of the series exclusively
on our Patreon. We dissect the relationships, the themes, the
burger specials, and everything else that goes into making Bob's
Burgers one of the most loved animated series today. So
if you want to sink your teeth into one of
the tastiest podcasts going around, join the four Finger Discap

(16:12):
family today at patreon dot com slash four finger discat.
I think I related, as I said Stan, I think
it stands of real people pleaser, and I think I
was that I still am. I just I don't like
it when I've annoyed somebody, and I try to do
all my best, do my best to fix that. I'll
give off the impresion I give a shit. I don't
give a shit where people think about me. But if

(16:32):
I've upset somebody, it really bothers me.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Like the opposite of Michael Jordan that you'll take that person.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
I don't like upsetting people. Yeah, all right, Next question,
here's from Dan on Companetz's last and my apologies. Dan,
it's the Sasinski Stazinsky. I think it's Stazinsky. Yeah, oh no,
Dan's going.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Dan's doing that thing we were talking about earlier where
you're yelling at a podcast. Yeah, like a ghost.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
It stands like it's Sinski. You fool the seven letters
in the middle of silent. So Dan says, what is
the one topic you think South Park would be afraid
to touch? Well, it's the president where I don't think
there's a really afraid that they I wouldn't say they're
afraid to touch topics. I just think they just don't
touch them because they know it just would not be
the right thing to do.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Yeah, And there's a difference I think between approaching a
topic in twenty twenty five as opposed to say, the
late nineties or early two thousands. I mean, they've certainly
had episodes and episodes I thought were pretty funny. Say's
say the Nambler episode. It's like, is the episode that's
is the name of that episode? Charld molestation is not funny?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, And it's like that they make it funny. It's
like they're throwing down the gauntlet saying, I guess what motherfucker.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
It actually is?

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Well, no, it's not funny, no, no, but the way
we're approaching it, yeah is yeah. So like challenge accepted.
Now whether or not you could sort of do something
similar in twenty twenty five and you start poking fun
at say they did an episode that focused on people
in the spotlight or people in say the entertainment industry

(18:11):
or in the public eye, who are accused of such
heinous crimes and actually sort of like naming names or
at least doing Okay, we know this is not redacted,
but it certainly looks like redacted. There are only a few.
I mean, I think they probably make fun of saying
someone like Harvey Weinstein. Even but even then, you've got
to have some degree of sensitivity. And I think as
you get older as well, and you know, tray and
matter human they're they're just like us. They're probably reaching

(18:34):
stagehere it's like, do I really need this much blowback?
It's not that they're creatively cowardly or anything like that,
but you get, as I like to say, a few
more miles on the meter, and it's.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Like, oh, do I need a challenge this now or
even that headache?

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Also have a greater understanding of how it might affect
other people, So maybe a little bit more sensitivity is.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, sensitive because it felts like in the early days
they were just out to just fuck the system.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Oh yeah, And look, I think if you're a creative
person or an artist in anyway, you do want to
sort of try to maintain that as you go throughout
the course of your of your life and your artistic
life as well. But it can be it can be
a bit difficult as you get older, you know, partly
because you kind of like, I don't need the stress,
and partly because oh I've seen a little bit more

(19:22):
of the world and a little and a little bit
more of how people act and read my father now
all that kind of stuff. Yeah, So I wonder.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
If that changed the way Trey wrote the show when
he became a dad. Interesting, what I do you think,
do you think if you became a father would change
how you went about your work? You say, you're Trey Parker.
Do you think it would? I think you? I think
so yeah, it's like because he had her voice.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Ike, that's true. So yeah, it's it's it's tough. I mean,
I've got a little I guess motivational saying that I've
sort of put it by my writing desk, which is
like to live a creative life, you must raise the
fear of being wrong or sorry. It raised the fear
of being wrong. It's like, I only get where you're
coming from, and I'd love to be able to sort

(20:06):
of you write or create with like I don't care
what anybody thinks. This is the truth, the truth the
way I see it. And I was like, but what
if my mum reads it? Yeah or something like that,
so yeah, or what if your daughter reads or what
if you whoever?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Well, sometimes I sort of I don't freak, but my
mum will say, oh I saw your video you put
out the other day, and I go, oh shit, that's right.
People see these things.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
I just create content and throw it out there and
never revisit it. Well, my uncle Patri Saya Goodawn, you
will go o yeah, listen to your South Up podcast
this week. And I'm like, what did I say? Oh yeah,
oh shit.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
My sister Margot like, I liked your show about I
liked your show about Billy Ylla. That's one of my
favorite movies. I did not like your movie guide about
Hot Tub Time Machine. I was not convinced, not that
you didn't like it, but because she really enjoys the
the movie guide with Marlton Davison available, We're good podcasts
are found and I'm like, oh goodness me, people I

(20:59):
know are listening to this.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Yeah, it changes how you go about it.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, although it's always nice when I think I've mentioned
our pal David David, who, yeah, it's a fan of
the show. And last time I saw him, he showed
me his phone and I was like, oh, this is
the number one podcast that he listens to or something.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
It's one thing about putting out clips now we're putting
out daily reels of the show and whatnot of for
fork a discount and going down to South Park and
all the other pods, is that you've just got to
get a thick skin and ignore the comments. Yeah. Absolutely,
People just I just have to. I feel like social
media is just negativity. It's just it's just all negativity.
It's just, Oh, you didn't fucking know that you were

(21:36):
a fucking and I'm like, you just did the start
where I said when I was a child, I'm sorry.
I didn't understand the concept of sexism when I was six.
When I was when I was eight, I knew exactly
what they were going for. I'm like, look, fucking good
for you cares. There was one guy one comment we
got on one of the videos where it was talking
about sexism, and he goes, I watch it with my

(21:57):
niece who's seven, and I explained it to her. She
understood it, and I went, that's nice. When I was six,
I didn't have apparently holding my hand and explaining to
me the fucking themes of The Simpsons. I just watched the.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Show because maybe you're a window.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
She's just like, I just want to watch the Simpsons, dude.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I just like shapes and colors.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Why is the Simpsons on? I asked for Spidey.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, it's interesting the one topic that south Back would
be afraid to touch because they've shown, Yeah, a great
degree of fearlessness.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
I don't think. I don't think they touched terrorism now.
I don't think they're doing yeahro school shootings, that kind
of thing. School even so, they would never have a
school shooting on the episodes. I don't think.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
No, that's yeah, that's too close to the boner. And
I think it may because however, something like say Luigi Mangioni.
That's his name, right, the guy, the guy who shot
the the healthcare ceo in the back. Yeah, I mean
I get the feeling. That's all my You've got to
do something about that. There's so much there to discuss.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
I was here the other day, I went I remember
when everyone was talking about that guy and then it
just disappeared.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Well he's on trial now, maybe a letter report, a
pre trial or something like that. Yeah, I got a
feeling he did sort of start something. I think at
the feeling there's a bit of an undercurrent of.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
We can get away with it. Oh yeah, there was justified.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
There's a whole thing on on various social media like
Instagram and TikTok where you've got people just saying don't
do it, but at the same time, can someone do it?
And you know what they're talking about.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Yeah, well, this is the thing when when he shot
the Health Health Sea or whatever it was, people were
saying he deserves it. Think and I remember a comment
saying he had a kid, and they're going, yeah, well
these people had kids too. Why is that his kid's fault?
Like you can understand, it's that's the society will break
down if we fucking go around doing this.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Oh yeah, that's the thing. I mean, I'm no fan
of the US healthcare system. I think it is kind
of busted and malagized. We are very lucky here in
Australia at the same time, and I think it urgently
needs sort of reform. Yeah, at the same time, let's
not go around shooting people in the back in the streets.

(24:17):
It's not something that the civilized society does. At the
same time, but yeah, we've been trying to we've been
trying to reform the healthy assistant rages and nothing is working.
At the same time, this isn't going to work, so
I know it creates eternal discussion, a bit of a
feedback loop. I think that's something that Parkin's stone could cover.
You're asking what they don't cover.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
So I'm not answering my first question I'm not answering
your question.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Well, absolutely, yeah, I think it's certainly one. I think
even something like Israel and Palestine, I don't think.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Yeah, I don't think TV station would even allow it,
would they probably? It's just it's just well, especially not
when I touched that one with a ten foot pole.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Well that's true. Yeah, or you know, even topics that
are kind of in family. It's even like something like
Black Lives Matter, which isn't doesn't quite have quite the
momentum it does, say five years ago, but it's still
quite the thing. Yeah, I don't think that's necessarily something
they could poke fun at. And if they did, that
have to go about it in a very roundabout and

(25:24):
very sort of sensitive way. And is that something that
South Pug wants to do.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
I think so. Probably a bit of a downer. The
next question here comes from This one's from Steve. This
one's for the mail bag. Actually, would you be offended
if South Park parody you guys?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
No, I'd feel like I'd feel like teenage guy in that,
you know, the hottest girl in school was kind of like, yeah,
you're such a dog, but you during the Jack Parrot,
but you but you do know me. I mean it's
better to be called a dog than just like I
don't even know who that person is. Yeah, so yeah,

(26:02):
I mean Trey about like, hey, there's a couple of Australians,
a couple of Geelong Australians talking.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
To an episode about him.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Yeah, constantly calling us Matt and Trey like they fucking
know us. Let us put these motherfuckers on a still.
Let's roast them over over hot coals. Go to it,
have us.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
I'd love it. Oh yeah, do as you will.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
That's the thing. I'd probably go. I have this big
round sort of mister Mackie head. You know, you'd just
be handsome. No, I would not be offended in the slightest.
I think it would be great to be on the
Parker and Stone raidar.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
It would be great.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Look, i'd watch the first I'd watch it the first time.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
No, but why after a while you just appreciate it.
I think, Oh yeah, yeah, I mean it would be amazing.
They don't know exist, Thank god, that's true. Another one here,
which film would you like to see? South Park parody?
We just did the Wizard of Oz last week, didn't
we That's true.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Look, this is just I thing. Have you ever seen
that thing about? Oh it's like it was a twitter
not sounding a meme, but a tweet that went viral.
Brackets man who has only seen Baby Geniuses watch his
other movie Real Baby Genius is vibe to this one.

(27:27):
So this is something that I mean, As I said,
Lou and I were in Melbourne recently. After we went
out for dinner, we just sort of crashed out back
at the apartment, like I want to watch a bit
of Telly Poole into bed and conn Air.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Had just started Yeah, got you a Bonnie?

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Oh yeah. It was like, I think this's the perfect
film to just a zone out to because it doesn't
make any.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Fund the Karen Dead.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
I forgot how much Chappelle was in there. Yeah, the
sky is Pinball him, Well, what a name, pinball Ball, Parker.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
They've all got a great name. Cyrus the virus Pinball
discuss many times. That's what I love the most about Connye.
It's the names, that's the thing. Yeah, I mean, is
this maybe bad or is it bad on purpose? And
I said, I think it is walking the fine line
of doing but yes, yeah, because I don't think you
can come up with names like this and and not
sort of have your tongue in your cheek to some degree.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
But I think a lot of the way it's executed
is kind of like you're really walking out to the
fine line of parody here with her.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Or maybe it's just point they have to travel take
all these bad criminals on the one plane for what reason.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
I think they're all being taken like a super max prison, okay,
and then they except then yeah, because it was like,
wait a minute, so why are they taking over the
plane again? It's like I think John Malcovich just like
made a deal with like some drug lord's son to
get him out of the country using Conair, and he's
bankrolling at all, Yeah, I guess. And then she dozed

(28:53):
off and I was not far behind it. It's not
easy falling asleep in the middle of a movie as
loud as Conne Yeah, shit in my window again, indeed,
But yeah, a lot of fun stuff in Connor, and
I get the feeling it would be kind of a.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
They take it too that's too old now it is.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Yeah, but they kind of take the piss out of
these movies. Well, I think they especially take the piss
out of like Roland Emrick movies like that they have
tomorrow in Independence Day ones. Yeah, yeah, I don't know
if this is them doing that as such, but you
know the episode where they is it the manatees or
the dolphins that create the set the Family Guy gags,
we move the ball from this way to the other way,
and that's that, you know that one, And that's what

(29:33):
that's when they keep doing the Family Guy. Parry's like,
you think that's bad? Have you ever seen that?

Speaker 2 (29:39):
I have. I've only seen that clip. I haven't seen
the whole episode, and I've deliberately avoided for the because
of the podcast. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
The other well, I'm not spoiling, but part of the
episode is Cartman and Kyle have to sort of join
forces to take down Damily Guy or something like that,
and they're both on these big wheels, you know, the
big wheels. Yeah, but it's like they're too post apocalyptic
like road warriors. Yeah, they're sort of decked out in

(30:04):
a leather and but on these big wheels and riding
down the road and that way. It's like I'd kind
of like to see the real movie version of this
of like we don't trust each other, I mean, and
of course there are movies like there were so many
movies like this, but I'd love to see We don't
trust each other. You know, I'm a bad guy, but
not all bad. I'm a good guy, but not all good.
We have to sort of work together.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
We watched fucking we reviewed it for the movie Guide.
What's the what's the Charles Groden and I run.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, but there's one sort of a little more sort
of heavy metal action ish, a bit.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
More road warriors. He's just an account.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Like, we don't trust each other, but we're gonna have
to work together. Okay, let's get on our cool bakes
and ride through this waste land and you know, head
to the.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Can they coincide?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Can these two work together?

Speaker 2 (30:51):
That's a that's a wrestling gay, because there's a thing
one of the staples of wrestling storylines is two guys
who are fighting. They've got to take on these other team,
But can they coincide? Before they big match WrestleMania? Can
they coincide?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
So I guess I'm avoiding the question of which film
would I like South Park to parody? And then, because
it seems like they cover just about everything, they don't
make movies anymore, and these things turn around so quickly,
because these episode sort of turn around so quickly.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Get out. Maybe, yeah, it would be a fun racism
spin there with south we can have some fun with
Oh yeah, let's get out.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
It's a good idea that.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
They don't proper horror, a proper horror rip off Friday
thirteenth and Halloween like the classic horrors.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
I don't think so, not to the best of my recollection.
I mean, look, if you listeners out there, if you
think they have, well you know they have. Let us know.
We didn't get a Halloween specially this year South Park
Halloween Special.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Yeah, that'd be good one. But a movie, yeah, a
movie that's some think one of the biggest movies of
the last few years. What other successful movies.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Now, Well this year is Minecraft Sinners.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
So they could take a technically at a Minecraft in
some way, if not necessarily with a chick and jockey thing.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Yeah, not necessarily out of Minecraft, but out of like them,
I guess they've done. Oh we've got to go to
the cinema and see this or whatever or yeah, but
Cartman being the guys, like, no, we don't just go
to the movies anymore. Gas, we've got to be part
of the movie. Yeah, him trying actually TikTok trends, trying
to create TikTok, trying to create TikTok trends, will start
memes in the cinema and everyone's just like we do
we just need to watch them shut the fuck up.

(32:20):
And him just going from cinema the cinema of town
to town, just trying to be, you know, be a
meme creator.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
You can start off with chicken jockey, with chicken jockey,
and then he wants to create his own viral trend. Yeah.
As an episode, there we go.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
We did it trying that. Why would you take the
missing why would you take the piss out of us?
We're helping you with great ideas like this, still them, Yeah,
and then apparently make up by the episode, we'll be
like hi, Lou hi, mum, like Alex at the end
of it, who the fuck is this guy?

Speaker 2 (32:51):
All right, well, just about do it? I reckon?

Speaker 1 (32:53):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
