Episode 4 - Part 2

In a podcast, Steven W Sorensen and Roy Peer discuss the potential for a new education system that is more flexible and accessible to everyone. They explore the resistance that such a system would face from those who hold power in the current education system and the need for a new certification system that would allow for recognition of learning outside of traditional institutions. The speakers also discuss the potential for big tech companies to create their own schools and certification programs, and the importance of certification in signaling intelligence and success to potential employers and partners. They also touch on the potential for augmented reality to accelerate the learning process and the importance of education in reducing the disparity between countries. The podcast also discusses the role of education in entrepreneurship and how education systems can better prepare individuals for the challenges of entrepreneurship. The speakers raise important questions about the relationship between education and entrepreneurship and how education systems can encourage risk-taking and non-conformity. Overall, the podcast highlights the need for a more democratized and less reliant on traditional classroom structures education system that can adapt to the changing needs of learners and employers.
