Presenting the Amazing Interplanetary Adventures of Flash Gordon. Last week,
Flash Gordon's memory was restored by the leathiamantidote administered by
doctor Zakhoff. Then the doctor and Dale Larden told Flash
all that had happened while he was under the spell
of the Wicked Queen's drug. Darkoff persuaded him that he

(01:45):
must take over the Blue Magic Land, just as he
took over the other kingdom.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
So Flash went into see Azora.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Who, under the spell of her own drug of forgetfulness,
failed to recognize him. A Zorah accepted Flash's claim that
he was king, and, at his request, order the entire
army of the Blue Magic Men to pass in review
before him. While the review was in progress, General Tall
sneaked to the balcony on which Flash, Dale, Zakhoff, and
Azurro were standing and attempted to plunge his sword into

Speaker 5 (02:13):
Spied Tall just as he drew his sword and gave the.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Alarm, and Flash whirled in time to parry the blow
and gave battle. In the duel, Flash knocked tall sword
from his hand, then he threw him over the balcony
rail onto the parade ground below. When Flash saw that
Tall was still alive after his fall, he ordered him
carried away and his wounds dressed. Doctor Zarkhoff then warned

Live.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
If we do not have every beggion on our hands,
we would be lucky. Listen to those angry soldiers.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
You're right, Zakos, I should have stopped to realize what
throwing that fellow off here would do. There's no voicing regrets.
We must act and act that one.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
Try, Darling, what are you going to do?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Raise your hands and get the attention of the soldiers.
You can fire them down and then explain the situation to.

Speaker 8 (03:41):
Them as you command, my king, Asoda's getting them.

Speaker 7 (03:47):
Christs, that was a great idea of plan.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
What shall I.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
Say to them, my king?

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Tell them that fellow or made a cowardly attack on
their king.

Speaker 8 (03:53):
What is the fellow's name? I never saw him before
in my life.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
His name is Taut.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
Soldiers, ma'am Tall made a cowardly attack on your team.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Let that be a lesson to anyone who may try
to follow his example.

Speaker 9 (04:06):
Let that be a lesson to any who may try
to follow his example.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
All I ask is they're loyalty, and they will find
me a just and kind ruler.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
All his majesty asks is your loyalty, and you will
find him a just and kind ruler.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Dismissed the review.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
It miss the.

Speaker 10 (04:25):
Review lately done, ladd what diplomacy?

Speaker 6 (04:43):
That was a stroke of genius.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
Yes, it was wonderful the way you averted trouble.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
It was a lucky thought brand And I think we
should take good care of this little lady. She may
be able to serve us in other emergencies. He very teen.
Are you all right? That sounds like? And so it
is readings? Can my friend, oh your majesty you recognize me?

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Flash Cotton is in shelf again, Captain Khan.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Frank me at all I knew all along. If this
is Azura is in the same unfortunate state I was in, Khan,
she happened to get hold of a flag and of
the drug vocal. You mean, your.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Majesty exactly, Captain Khan. And now as Judi's memory is gone,
there is justice after all.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Then that's the best thing I've heard outside of your recovery,
Your majesty, and thank you, Khan. I have an assignment
of duty which I think you may enjoy. Yes, you
are to God a zora for us. See that no
one gets within speaking distance of that. They will get
to her only over my dead body, Your majesty, I'm
sure of that, my friend. That's why I put her
in your custoday. May I take her to the kitchens
and let her stir soup? Your majesty, why do you
ask that?

Speaker 7 (05:43):
I know flash Ton wishes to give her a taste
of what we've been through.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
You were both made to do that. Yes, your majesty,
and Sincess Dale was changed to the soul. I'll remember
that in case Azura disobeys my orders. But for the present,
let her have the freedom of her quarters under your watch.
Fly khn't yes, your majesty with me.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
To your majesty, I thought I was to rule this
land you are under my orders.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
My first one is that you obey me in all
things go to your quarser is my king commands.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
Come God, I can't stand that woman around Flash.

Speaker 8 (06:15):
I'm glad you sent her away.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
Oh, Dale, really sorry that I can't help feeling that way.

Speaker 8 (06:19):
What are we going to do?

Speaker 6 (06:20):
Now?

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Look the palace over, Zaka. You take the west wing
pretty well, Dale, and I will take the east wings.
Let us find the throne room to room.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
Yes, yes, I'm dying to see that well. I've seen
of the kitchens and a Zora's private dining room.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Palace is yours, Dale, But until we have everything completely
under control, I wouldn't get too far away from Zaka
or Cohn or me.

Speaker 8 (06:41):
I won't, don't worry.

Speaker 6 (06:42):
May I make a suggest, younger?

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Of course? What is it?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
We are absolutely without any means of protecting ourselves except
by our swords.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
Let us search for some means of defense as we
look for the throne room.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
A most excellent suggestion, zak Off. I don't know what
I'd do without you. By all means, let us collect
weapons for our protection.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
On with the search, and so our friends inspect the
palace of Queen Asura. They attempted to stop in almost
every room they enter because of the beauty of the
hangings and furnishing, but the object of their search leads
them on, and finally Flash and Dale are rewarded when

(07:22):
they push aside two massive metal doors a.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Little further than here. Now push, we got them over.

Speaker 8 (07:35):
Lash.

Speaker 11 (07:35):
This is it.

Speaker 8 (07:36):
This is the Queen's throne room.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
Oh it is. There's the throne down there. How hollow
it sounds in here.

Speaker 8 (07:43):
That's because the room is so huge and empty. See,
there's nothing indier but the throne at the top of
those marble steps.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Plainer than I thought it would be. Just the blue
magic insignia, three triangles on the black velvet drape, the
plain marble throne.

Speaker 8 (07:59):
It's plains, but it's majestic and terribly impressive.

Speaker 7 (08:03):
And it seems so far away.

Speaker 8 (08:06):
There's no place for me to sit with you.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
You shall sit at my feet on the very top steps.

Speaker 12 (08:10):
We have come.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
I'll show you.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
Oh you've sat in the throne without any speech or
ceremony or anything.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
This is just a rehearsal. Dale. Maybe I'll make a
speech later. Sit down there, DearS, that's it.

Speaker 9 (08:27):
I hope your Majesty will forgive my mentioning it, but
this marble step isn't addition fult.

Speaker 8 (08:32):
To sit on.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
When we hold court, you'll have cushions of galaw Dale.
We're just getting our stage positions. The scenery and costumes
will come later.

Speaker 8 (08:39):
I hope so.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
And you don't sound very confident.

Speaker 9 (08:41):
Well, we didn't find any weapon slash No. I hope
doctor Zarkoff had better luck.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Yes, our position would be more assured if we had
found some means of defense. I wonder where the Zeri
keeps her ammunition.

Speaker 8 (08:52):
Personal or military?

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Dale, Sorry flash, I just happened to think she's probably
Dantin's calm right this minute out it.

Speaker 8 (09:00):
I don't think she's succeeding, but I'm sure she's trying.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
And I wouldn't be surprised if she were trying myself.

Speaker 9 (09:06):
Had black and white square design on the floor is attractive,
don't you say?

Speaker 8 (09:09):
Plas?

Speaker 5 (09:09):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (09:10):
But I do hope they have a big crimson propet
that reaches from the throne to the door for state stalk.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Ain't here, doctor Zakah, here we are. I see you
have proudly thrown room. Got someone with him? Who is it?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (09:24):
I never saw him around here before.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yes, yes, we found the throne room, soaka, that's all
we found.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
I've probably sad and these globes.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
Keep flash, just flash to use Zaka for friend. What
have you there?

Speaker 6 (09:34):
This is ground keeper Assuda's paralyzing gas.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Gloves, your majesty, part of the globe's fall.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Explain them grumb.

Speaker 13 (09:41):
The fume from these globes, when broken, will instantly paralyze
anyone within range, your majesty. If they strike anyone in exploding,
they will die on the spot. Very interesting ground. He
may go and leave those globes here. Good work, doctor Zaka.
Now we are able to defend ourselves. It's an austrenuous day.
As retired to our quarters.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Tomorrow we will take over the kingdom by force.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
A short time later, in the officer's quarters, General Tall
is discussing something.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
If it hadn't been for that girl Dale Larden, I'd
have killed that ex prisoner who styled himself king.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
That's true, General Tall.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
You say, Queen Asua announced to the army that I
made a cowardly attack.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Yes, General, she said, this self made king was only
defending himself as any of us would have done, didn't
she comrade.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
That's right, Comrade, they must have given us some of
that lythium.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Do you think Queen Azura is drugs?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
She must beat him make statements like that. We must
rescue her, restore her memory, and put her back in power. Yes, General,
will recapture these fancy prisoners who are playing kings for
the day, and this time I'll make.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
A good job of that. Flash Garden will help you.
General Tull. You can count on us, can't he Comrade.

Speaker 12 (11:14):
Yes, General, you can count on us.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
And we'll get some others who'll rebel with us. Good.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
That's spoken like true blue magic men. General, General, Yeah,
who is that?

Speaker 5 (11:25):
It's grum grum?

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Well what is it?

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Gerald?

Speaker 6 (11:28):
The enemy has got some of the gas goos, not
all of them.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Rum, They didn't get all of them.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
No syrony about it, doesn't I smuggle out some of
the gas masks here.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
They are excellent, excellent. You will be rewarded for this rum.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Thank you, Generald Hall. I did it for my country
and my queen.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I find a sura and we lot tax the enemy.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Rum search as the Alison his attempt to find a Zua,
he tries door after door. Finally he sees a light
shining through a grilled, transparent door. He looks in and finds, God.

Speaker 8 (12:09):
Why do you stand there with that gun in your hand?

Speaker 5 (12:12):
I have my orders to keep my eye on you, Azora?
What have I done?

Speaker 8 (12:15):
Why am I a prisoner?

Speaker 5 (12:17):
You want a prisoner, Azora? I'm only protecting you. Well,
if you're a bodyguard, why can't you relax?

Speaker 8 (12:23):
Come and sit down here beside me?

Speaker 5 (12:25):
Oh no, why not?

Speaker 6 (12:27):
Are you afraid of me?

Speaker 5 (12:28):
Listen, Azora? I'm afraid of no one man or woman.
I simply am not interested. If there is nothing I
can do for your comfort, I'll go outside and stand
guard in the hall.

Speaker 8 (12:38):
Oh very well, bring me some vocal.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
I'll get some and be right back here. You what
are you doing here? I were just seeing if a
zura as well guarded she is. I'm here. I'll get
out and stay out, certainly certain.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
Late that night, the mast rebels are led by Grum
to Azora's quarters. From their position on top of a
high wall, blow some of.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
The sleep gas and the enemy guard at once.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
General, call.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Ah, that's taking care of them. Now, where is that
you're at?

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Right this way? General?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
See, there's the guard that wardered me away he's asleep
across a Zora's doorway, and.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Give him a shot of the gas rum with pleasure.
Now let's get as your Look there she is asleep.
I'll awaken her as your iura.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
She doesn't move, is she no?

Speaker 12 (14:01):
No, No, she's not dead.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
She's breathing all right.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
He may be exhausted and sleeping soundly, But General Tale,
he may have drugged there so she wouldn't be able to.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Escape, no matter a sleep or drugged. Carry the queen
to safety, then on to kill Flash Gordon.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Now we continue the story. Put it with gas masks
and armed with.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Sleep gas rifles.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
The blue robe figures deal silently through the halls of
the palace looking for Flash Gordon.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Well Drum, which apartment is he in?

Speaker 12 (14:41):
I'm not sure, General Tall, not.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Sure, not sure that I told you to be sure
to find out where the enemy was sleeping.

Speaker 12 (14:48):
I tried to General followed the scientists fell down this corridor,
and he saw me and ordered me back.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Didn't you see him enter any room?

Speaker 12 (14:56):
No, General Tall, he stood and waited until I left
the corridor.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
It was this north corridor he went down.

Speaker 12 (15:02):
I'll take my oath on the General Well.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Let us proceed, but keep a sharp look out for
any signs of that film styled.

Speaker 11 (15:09):
King I will general, General, Hey, what's the matter now?
Listen Gordon and the scientist fellow coming this way quickly.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Men to the archway.

Speaker 12 (15:22):

Speaker 5 (15:25):
I think we better do it soon.

Speaker 6 (15:27):

Speaker 6 (15:38):
Yes, forward, men, what's that general talk say? If we

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Some sort of alarm?

Speaker 12 (15:45):
What shall we do do?

Speaker 6 (15:47):
What is it to do? But go on and attack? Flash?

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Gordon? Forward, men, death till the invaders.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
In the meantime, daye Iden, wishing to make sure that
Azuri isn't taking a loss of memory, steals out of
her room and makes her way to the witch Queen's water. There,
she finds the door open and Con drowsily recovering from
the effects of the sleep gas.

Speaker 7 (16:27):
Con Con Anthony, where is a Zura?

Speaker 8 (16:31):
What can what's the matter? Have they drugged you?

Speaker 5 (16:36):
Sleepy? So sleepy?

Speaker 8 (16:39):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (16:39):
Con?

Speaker 7 (16:40):
Why did you fall asleep in that Azura?

Speaker 8 (16:41):
Escape?

Speaker 5 (16:43):
What's that? What did you say?

Speaker 7 (16:45):
Can listen?

Speaker 8 (16:47):
To me.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Listen.

Speaker 8 (16:49):
Can you hear what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 (16:51):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Here you can you understand what I'm saying? Understand y,
can listen carefully. Azua is not in her room. Azua
has escape escape.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
I left her in there, haven't left doorway all night?
Who are you?

Speaker 7 (17:11):
This is Dale Dale, Arden, Princess Dale.

Speaker 12 (17:16):
Sleepy. Excuse me?

Speaker 5 (17:19):
I hard to wake up?

Speaker 8 (17:22):
They've done something to you?

Speaker 7 (17:24):
Oh what shall I do? I remember?

Speaker 8 (17:27):
Exercise?

Speaker 7 (17:29):
Come come, we're going to walk yourself.

Speaker 6 (17:31):
Awake, Yes, walk awake, Get.

Speaker 7 (17:36):
Up here, I'll help you the month. That's it now,
then lean on me right? No walk? Why did you
sleep those soundlies? Did you have anything to drink?

Speaker 5 (17:55):
No?

Speaker 7 (17:55):
Nothing to drink, anything to eat?

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Nothing to eat? And Azua retired. I lay down across
the door so he couldn't get by me.

Speaker 8 (18:05):
And some of those devils must have given you sleep
guests sleep.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Guess ah, maybe that's why I can't get awake. Oh,
I've never had such a time waking up.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
That's just what they must have done. And then while
you were under his influence, they wait in and took
a Zora away.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Took Azora away? What do you mean? I beg your pardon? Princess.
I didn't mean to speak so sharply.

Speaker 7 (18:28):
That's all right, Tom. How do you feel now?

Speaker 5 (18:30):
I'm almost awake now, Princess. A little foggy, but that's
rapidly going away.

Speaker 11 (18:35):
Good.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Wow. What did you say about Azura being taken away?

Speaker 7 (18:40):
I said, while you were under the influence of sleep gas,
they must have gone in and taken Azuda away. I
came here and found the door open and the which queen.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Gone gone, and I swore to guard her with my life.
I said, they'd get to wear only over my dead body.
Oh fool that I am.

Speaker 7 (18:57):
You mustn't blame yourself, Tom, It wasn't your They got
her only over your almost dead body.

Speaker 8 (19:03):
This is dead with deep.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
You're letting me down easily, Princess Dale. Thank you, But
she escaped from my charge. It's up to me to
find her and see that she doesn't get away again.

Speaker 7 (19:12):
You ought to be able to do that. Con They
can't have taken her very far off.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
True, he's not out of the pallet.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
They've probably put her in some other room until they
can sneak outside with her.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
You may be right, Princess, it sounds logical. I'd better
start searching. I can't do any good here, No.

Speaker 7 (19:27):
You can't. We have a saying back on earth. It's
no good locking the barn door after the horse has
been stolen.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
Oh, it's very good. I like that, but I don't
think the queen would like to be called a horse.

Speaker 8 (19:39):
You're right she wouldn't.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
I'll go and look for a Zura. You'd better warn
King Flash and Dark office he's gone.

Speaker 7 (19:45):
I will, but I'm sure you'll find that ton.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
Thank you, princess. I give you my word. I can't
stop searching until I do find her.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Inside Flash Gordon's apartment, our hero and doctor Zakov stand
listening to the alarm bell and the pounding on the door.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Well, doctor Zaka, protector ray alarm worked.

Speaker 10 (20:28):
All right, yes, but why are the hawkman God responding?
They should have arrived by now and captured those rebels
out there.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
Must found their way after ran into another group of revolutionists.

Speaker 10 (20:37):
Perhaps, but I do not think so. It is more
than likely those men out there overpowered the cards before
coming here.

Speaker 6 (20:44):
Ah, they stopped pounding on the door. What are they
planning to do?

Speaker 5 (20:48):
I don't know, but I know what I'm going to do.
Open the door suddenly zaka. I'll hold this paralyzing gas glow.

Speaker 10 (20:54):
If anything, let ready now on both the doors open,
now through the glove to go.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
I got one of them, but the guys had no
effect on the other.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
No one that didn't you see they wear gas masks.
That we are in a tough spot. The rebels pick

(21:32):
up their dead comrade and retreat to a nearby alcohol
to plan their next move.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Poor Grum, it's too bad they killed him. I had
great plan for him after we regained control of the kingdom.

Speaker 12 (21:44):
It's too grum with you our queen's freedom.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Yes, he deserves a hero funeral.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
He that is given to him just and.

Speaker 12 (21:52):
Rsalls Un should be buried with full military honors.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
We must capture those next prisoners. How are we going
to be able.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
To do it?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
They have those paralyzing gas flobes, and they may have
other weapons stowed in that room. That's right, General Tall
unless we see yeah, hey, you know this part of
the palet. Are there any other doors leading to that
apartment which we could break in while they're taken if
it's done that one.

Speaker 12 (22:16):
No, General, that is the only door to the apartment.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Well, there must be a window in it. Couldn't we
climb in by the window and surprise them from the back.

Speaker 12 (22:24):
That is impossible, Generals impossible.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
Why is it impossible?

Speaker 12 (22:27):
The window opens onto a.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
Cliff with a straight drop of great distance.

Speaker 12 (22:31):
It ends on jagged rocks. The surface is almost smooth.
It will be useless to try to climb up from
the rocks.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
There are no foothold.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Then they cannot escape that way. Men, we have them
in a trap.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
What is our next move?

Speaker 12 (22:45):
General?

Speaker 2 (22:45):
What is that door made of? And it'd be broken
down with a battering lamb?

Speaker 12 (22:50):
No, General, that is a special metal door which the
queen had built so you could make that apart of
the treasury.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
It is a tremendous thick.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Those invaders weren't any foods when they picked it for
the strong hold. But that must be some way to
get at them. Why can't we let our come down
from the roof on a scaffolding and.

Speaker 12 (23:05):
Get into that window.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
We could, but for the fact that there's a tower
built over that apartment.

Speaker 12 (23:10):
General, there's no way to suspend a scaffold a distance
from the top of the tower to the window.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
He says, Why couldn't they have kicked some other week?

Speaker 12 (23:18):
I have an idea. General, Well, it may not be
much good, but I was thinking we could capture Price
Gordon and his companions if we could cut through that
door or melt it down.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
The very thing, the very thing, Comrade, you have towld
the problem. Remind me to have you made a brigadier
general tomorrow.

Speaker 12 (23:35):
Thank you, Thank you, General Paul.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
And get us at once.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
We shall lay heed to that door and melt it down.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Meanwhile, a splash Gordon and doctor Zarkoff's land, wondering what
the blue magic rebels are up to. There come a
knock on the door.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Trick, that's who is he? Who is there? Heaven? That's
a minute, hor coming quickly?

Speaker 7 (24:15):
Oh good Heaven, say, I thought we're in.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
Your room back there? Sound a sleep?

Speaker 8 (24:19):
No, but never mind, that has been set free.

Speaker 6 (24:22):
What are you saying?

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Set free? I told con God, they gave him think
after something.

Speaker 8 (24:28):
And then when they carry away, I found Tom just recovering.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
No, where is he enough?

Speaker 8 (24:33):
He's sitting for I said, I'd come and tell you.

Speaker 10 (24:36):
Come on, Zacap, we'll have to look for it too,
And we can't see what's happened to our hawkman.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
Gods, we go flash reels returning shut that door like quickly.

Speaker 8 (24:47):
What for those men carrying.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
I don't know, some sort of a machine gun, but
this is especially constructed door. They'll never be able to
break it down. Now, don't do worry there.

Speaker 6 (24:55):
It is queer. We do not hear anything out there.
Why don't they fire at the dog if they have
a machine gun?

Speaker 5 (25:01):
I don't know. Islan puzzling.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
We're dedicated, all right, but it isn't going to do
us much good.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
Doesn't look like robes. They're useless again, what are we
going to do? Nothing? Just now we can't do anything.
The next move is from the rebel. I don't hear
them moving around.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Perhaps they have laid teach to the door and out
waiting for us to open it.

Speaker 12 (25:22):
And they've got a long way not to get off
the bath way.

Speaker 10 (25:25):
There is no thatch way but the window. And that
looks out on the clip that draps straight down.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
I don't know how hard look look the door is melting. Ah,
that's why we didn't hear anything.

Speaker 10 (25:36):
They've got it this outro gun trained down it come
let comtails our gas trope.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Don't stop those revels, and we're cut off from.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Our own soldiers the window is our only chance.

Speaker 8 (25:48):
But you said it was a safe drop. You didn't
know how.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Far the vine running down the side of the cliff.
We can climb down there, get a close tail. I'll
save you, even if I can't save our kingdom.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
As Flash and Dale and Zakoff start their perilous flights
to lower Away to horrible death on the jagged rocks
and the bull, the same faith from the burning rays
of the magic men. What is going to happen to them?
These amazing adventures are graphically portrayed in full color action
pictures in the Comic Weekly the big full page picture.

Speaker 6 (26:21):
Supplements distributed next Sunday.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
With your hearst Sunday newspapers. Don't miss the Comic Weekly
next Sunday. Or in addition to Flash Jordan, you will
find many other favorite characters of fun and adventure waiting
to entertain you. And don't forget our date at the
same time next week or the next chapter in the
amazing interplanetary adventures of Flash Gordon.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Welcome back. Well, a pretty solid comeback by the villains here.
I did chuggle a bit about Towel complaining about Flash
choosing a hard to attack area. Why couldn't they have
chosen in the paper mache room. I will say that
any ethical issues aside, there's a flaw with their plan
for having Azure a rule under Flash's command. The Flash

(28:01):
required repeated doses to keep him in line, and they
don't have more of the stuff and they can't make it,
so it seems possible it might have worn off even
without Taul's intervention.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
And then we have a comment.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
This one comes from YouTube regarding a decision we announced
a few weeks back, sace off rights suffering Wang Noodles,
Adam Speed Gibson is awesome and I'm sure that you'll
enjoy listening to the entire series. Well, thanks so much,
and I appreciate the comment, and I feel like I

(28:36):
will as well from listening to the episodes I found.
I hope I can find some better audio quality. Some
of the ones that I came across were not that great,
you know, not bad listenable, But I strive to find
the best sound quality that I can. But it sounds
like a really fun series, great reputation, and really that

(29:00):
is probably my big test for whether I'll play a
series if I think I'm going to enjoy it, if
I find every episode completely insufferable. I think it's not
going to be a good experience that'll come across. And now,
of course, everybody likes different things, which is why we
play wide variety, but definitely Speed Gibson and something that

(29:23):
is pretty far from both Flash Gordon and Speed Gibson.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Will be a bit more of a down to earth series.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
The Firefighters, a syndicated series from Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
It'll make for a fun listen.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
And with all these series, it's going to be a
few years till we get to them, but I'm listening
ahead of time so that I've got things planned out
and scoped out for us to be able to enjoy. Well,
now it's time to thank our Patreon supporter of the day,
and I want to let you know that we've done
something a little different with our Patreon supporters. Is our

(29:59):
real that using the detective titles for the Patreon tiers
just doesn't give the series a consistent feel. So there
are alternate names that we use for the same tiers,
same privileges, same everything. But on the Great Adventurers podcast,

(30:20):
it's just known by a different name. So I want
to go ahead and thank Kevin, Patreon supporter since September
twenty sixteen, currently supporting the podcast at the super Scientist
level of fifteen dollars or more per month. Thanks so
much for your support, Kevin, and that will do it

for today. If you're enjoying the podcast, please follow us
