(00:05):
Hello. I'm JD. Setter.I am the producer of Greenhorn Tales and
the voice of Nicholas, and Iam joined by Christopher Green, the voice
of Carson. Cameron Cameron Carson hisname. He is also Hey, I'm

(00:32):
leaving this in just so you know, okay, And I'm Michael Schrader and
I don't play a voice. Christopher'salso our head writer and the voice of
Cam. And we're also joined byMichael Schrader who is on one of our
writers as well. We're just hereto give you a little bit of an

(00:52):
update. It's been a while.I mean, what was it December twenty
one when Christmas Special dropped? Isthat right? Or was it twenty two?
No, I think you're correct oneof those years. I think it
was in a year around Christmas timetwenty two anyway, whichever those years.
So yeah, since then, we'veput our little brains together and decided to

(01:17):
come up with some ideas. Heyspeak for yourself, to come up with
some ideas for season two. Sothat's what we're here to tell you.
Season two is in the works.I'm super excited. We've got some really
fun ideas, I think, andwe're excited to bring them to you.
So we just wanted to record alittle teaser about what's what's coming up and

(01:38):
let you know that it is coming. But before we get into the specific
so real quickly, Michael, anyany thoughts as you look back on season
one and look at those those welltotal twelve episodes, right, we have
ten in the in season one onepilot and then a special. But anything

(01:59):
that stands out to you, anyparticular moment that you were involved in the
writing of that you really enjoyed.Well, I have a favorite sound effect
moment that I didn't put in.It's one of my scripts, but I
think it was somebody else's idea forthe sound effect. But at the end
of the Gauntlets and Goldfish episodes, there's a little toilet flush and that's my
favorite sound effect of the season.I thought that was so funny when I

(02:23):
heard it the first time because itwasn't my idea, but it was great,
And I'm excited for season two.Yeah, Christopher Green is a writing
machine and he's way ahead of me, and so I'm intimidated, excited all
of those things. All right,Christopher, how about you? Any thoughts
on season one as you look backYeah. I mean it's fun because I

(02:45):
was listening re listened to it recentlyall the way through when working on writing
for season two, and there wasthings I noticed that we had planned that
we had never done, and thingsthat we had done that I kind of
was like, Oh, this isan opportunity to expand on some of these
idea ideas. But yeah, Imean, some of the standout episodes for
me in the in the first seasonwas anything Michael didn't right, No,

(03:07):
I'm just kidding. Michael did afantastic job, but I greatly uh,
you know, I really like thethe planes and pony rides. It's one
of my favorites, just the thecrazy but believable story of it all.
It's terrifying. But sweet YEA quotethat line consistently. Yeah, that's fun.

(03:29):
Yeah, there's a there's so manyfun moments over those episodes, and
I you know, I'm obviously alittle bit biased, but as I look
back, I'm pretty pretty proud ofwhat we were able to put together.
But we just have a couple moreminutes before we say goodbye. But I
wanted to give you a little bitof a teaser on what's coming up.

(03:50):
So Christopher why don't you tell usabout one of your scripts that you have
coming up here in season two?Mm hmmm, mm hmm. Well we'll
just give the title and maybe aline about about it. Sure. One
of the titles of one of theepisodes I'm working on this season is called
store Rooms and Storm Drains, andit will see our characters put to the

(04:14):
test in a dangerous scenario. Let'slet's let's just say that danger This is
a comedy show. What in theworld danger can be the funniest thing there
is? All right, Michael, what about you? I have a script

(04:34):
coming up. It's in the veryearly stages of development, like the conceptual
stages, but it's called Pianos andPollen, and that is going to have
something to do with allergies and music, So stay tuned for that. I
wonder who's allergic to a piano inthis Wow, that's a shocker. I

(04:56):
couldn't tell what that was going tobe about. Yeah. No, it's
kind of a a surprise when youread the title and you don't expect that,
But that's what it's going to be. Less dangerous, Yeah, yeah,
for sure. Maybe maybe maybe somebodyhas to get an EpiPen or something.
Okay, Well, I don't wantto get too crazy at a comedy
show, but maybe maybe we'll seewhen has that stopped us before? Yeah?

(05:20):
All right, Christopher, how aboutyou? What's what's another one?
Yeah? Definitely another one. Actually, this is an interesting little tidbit in
this is laundromats and lily pads. One of the sort of behind the scenes
facts on this is this is actuallyan episode that we originally planned for the
first season, and it didn't makeit into the first season, not because

(05:42):
it wasn't a good story, butbecause it just needed a little bit more
refinement. And so that refinement ishappening now, and so I'm pretty happy
with the direction it took, andwe're going to be seeing some of that
classic Nick and Cam have to figureout how to be adults moments. Yeah,
that was an interesting process, andso I'm I'm I have actually already

(06:05):
read the first draft on that one, which I'm really excited about. It's
it's a really funny script. Sothat one's coming together really nicely. How
about one more, Michael before wehead out the door? Okay, before
we head out the door, Ialso have one coming up. There's a
very musical theme to a lot ofmy episodes, I'm realized, and there's

(06:25):
one called Symphonies and Spimoni where theguys decide to get a little culture and
attend a symphony in a nearby cityand are exposed to a delicious Italian dessert
for the first time. That's gonnabe fun. That's gonna be fun.
Yes, maybe we'll see, we'llsee. Well, I just wanted to
bring these guys on. I couldhave recorded this just by myself, but

(06:46):
I thought, you know what,I think that people want to hear from
the guys who are the brains behindthese fun stories. So yeah, I
wanted to bring you guys on tolet the people know what we've got coming
up and real quickly, I justwanted to say thank you to Ronaldo s
fifteen on Apple Podcast, who recentlysent us a review and it was five

(07:10):
stars, said best audio sitcom ever. I couldn't stop laughing every time I
listened to an episode. Wish therewere more. So I got to say,
Ronaldo, your review was kind ofthe impetus for us to record this
to let people know there are morecoming. So I wanted to let you
know that. And you know what, this is a really cool thing.
We've gotten some really great feedback fromseason one and it's always appreciated when we

(07:33):
get to hear from listeners. Butwe had a listener who just goes by
the name the tech Boy who actuallycreated the app from episode one, the
Surprise Birthday App, and he createdan Android app based on that from that
episode. So that was really reallycool. That's amazing. Yeah, I
thought that was a really neat thing. Also, a quick shout out to

(07:56):
Craig Hart, who has like theself proclaimed biggest fan of Greenhorn Tales.
He's always a messaging us and askingwhen more is coming. And you actually
heard if you listen to the Christmasepisode, you heard him in that episode.
But he let us know the otherday that his kids into the show
now. So he said that hegot into the car to take his kids
to school and his son said, can we listen to Greenhorn Tales? And

(08:18):
so I'm like, yes, we'reconverting the next generation too. That's some
quality parenting right there. But wejust wanted to jump on here to let
you know that this is coming. So stay tuned Greenhorn Tales dot com more
information. We'll try to keep youupdated there on the blog. If you
have any questions or feedback regarding seasonone, we'd love to hear from you.

(08:43):
You can always send in an emailto Hello at Greenhorntales dot com.
All Right, we'll see you, hopefully soon with some new episodes. But
it sounded amazing. Trust me,I believe you. I know very little

(09:11):
about either of those things, soI don't know if I should, if
I should this actually, but let'ssee, let me, let me come
in again. Did Christopher say byebye
