he was right next to me andI was hoping to be Snoobi and no,
he's He's good like everybody else.So we need Scott to start finding
some weaker players because this great greatcoward. Drafted against him for years.

I think he plays a lot ofyou know, high stakes mid steaks,
great apes. Gary Allen then draftingagainst him for years. Matthew Lyons,
I believe I know him. Youknow I've seen him around here. Andrew
Palermo is one of the top players. I promise you in this at full

time. And you know I've gota if I could bet, I would
bet in the next three years hewins a main event. That that's how
good he is. He's one ofthe few guys I actually listened to.
Well, if I have anything tosay about it, that does that doesn't

me and Jerry first. All right. Yeah, he's brilliant. He he

uh. He spends more more seriousabout these drafts than anybody I know,
but he has more fun with themanybody I know. He's he's one of
my favorites. Russell Cruz got eversince I've been here twenty since around twenty
thirteen, I've seen his name.He's been in all the big stuff.

So uh, Scott Lawrence, Uh, talk to him all the time.
One of my best friends here meand him think just to like, except
he likes the Eagles and the Cowboys. So but he's an old boy.
He's an old he's an old schooldrafter to type. He does main events

and mid stays. You're on thecourt, go ahead and draft and I'll
keep ye keep talking. I'll pay. It's another thing about Scott. He
knows more about music than any humanhave ever talked to, except maybe Snack.
But Scott has better taste than WilliamMeyer is the you never know what

he's gonna do. Been drafting againsthim forever. He used to drive Jack
Colsheen crazy. You could never figureout what he's gonna do next. And
yeah he's a wild card, buthe's very good. Steve Mercer seeing his
name everywhere, big, you know, high stakes guy. Of course,

a sheef Ibraham, he's always onthese Red versus Blue. He usually calls
in like listening to him. Ofcourse, Adam, Adam, you're our
version of Fozzy And yeah, that'sright, major volume drafter. I don't
think you'll ever catch Fozzy seven hundredone year, but a bunch of them.

I was talking to Fazzi today andhe's got Yeah, he's planning on
doing a ton of a A guy'sjust a grinder. People think it's all
it's all funny, games man.When you have one hundred plus lineups you
gotta start every week, it's ait's I I could I could never do
it. I could never see howhe does it. I think he told
you in one of your podcasts hedid seven hundred a couple of years ago.

I don't think they're all. Yeah, probably a lot of best probably
bestball. Yeah, and Todd zO me and hit me and Todd are
I probably drafted more against him thananybody here. We do a lot of
little fifty dollars drafts and a lotof mistakes. Uh yeah, he me

and him, Spenking. I seehim in Vegas every year. Great guy,
real good player. He's one ofthe few guys that you'll see in
discord go out and ask questions topeople and yeah, and he does it
and he learns from it, andthe rest of us all just throw shit
out there like we know it all. But Todd's always prying and looking for

answers, and that's why he's sayingI think he came in second in the
midstakes last year. Okay, soso that's he's a But yeah, great,
great crew. Yeah, like Isaid, I know most of these
guys draft been here since about twentythirteen. Yeah, no, it's always
a great crew. It's a great, tight knit group of guys out out

here, and they like to talkabout each other and to each other and
and and compete competitive. Everyone knowswhat the other guy's doing, who's draft
and who everyone's keep keeping score.It's it's almost like a one big home
league here at the FFWC. It'sfantastic. I'm on the clock here.

Easy picks, man. These firsttwo have been pretty easy. I don't
make sure I don't miss anybody here. But it's gonna be hard tonight because
I can't put guys in my queuebecause everyone can see. But yeah,
I'm happy with Drake, with DrakeLondon there. But yeah, dude,
I mean again, big crew,for sure. It was funny. I'm
trying to Andrew last week and he'sI get super I get into drafts sometimes

quickly because I want to see whatI get very excited about the draft slot.
Like I look at the email Iwant to see I scroll down real
slow to see like what pick Iam, because that's like, one of
the funnest parts to me is tosee, like what pick I am,
and Andrew is telling me the same, the same thing that he does.
It's funny. We're just a bunchof psychopaths over here. But definitely,
but for sure. But but yeah, tell me about you and the FFWC

and how you came to play overhere and all that, all that that
good stuff. Yeah, I figuredI'd tell this story because some of the
guys will get a kick out ofit. And but I think what it
does is it talks about just wantwhat everybody loves about this site. Back
around nineteen ninety two, I joinedmy home league. I worked at a

(08:50):
company called floor and after about threeyears they made me the commission and I
became obsessed with changing the scoring systemevery year to get it perfect, to
eliminate the most luck you could possiblyfind. You know, we had guys

(09:11):
like Drome Bettis get three carries forthree yards and three touchdown three touchdowns,
and Barry Sanders would for a fewyards, they take him out, put
Tommy Vardell in get a one yardrun, and you know, it drove
me nuts. And every year Iwould change the rules, the scoring rules
and it would drive these guys inthe league crazy. But I was just

obsessed with it. And you knowthat was back around you know, ninety
four ninety five, it's when itstarted, and around I was ten years
old, Jerry, just in case. Around twenty thirteen, I saw an
ad that's a company called Scout Fantasyput out and they explained their system there

(09:58):
the way they did and why itwas the best, and I said,
damn, this is it. Thisis the perfect system. And two things
that stood out to me was thethree wide receivers and two flex I absolutely
loved that. And the other thingwas the playoffs, the way they did

(10:18):
playoffs, the you know, thethree week total points. You know,
I hated the head on head things, especially when you're playing for money,
right, I mean a decent chunkof money. I could not stand head
to head championships because you may playa team that you know, it was

(10:41):
the work fourth best team and hescored more than he had all year and
you're out all of a sudden.So it drove me crazy. So anyway,
it's almost finished. But I thinkthis is the good part is so
I got me and three of mybuddies. Okay, I thought were the
best players in my home league,and we are all good players to this

(11:05):
day. Those three guys are stillvery good. And we joined a main
event scout. I think back thenit was about sixteen hundred dollars, so
we all threw in four hundred dollars. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and
Scott suttered announcing the players, andwe had Shradh Chad Schroeder, the number

one player in the world, andSanto's the number seven player in the world.
Russell Cruz was probably in it,you know, Cuckas Kirk Kucka's you
know, all these and these guyslooked at me and said, why the
hell are we in this? Youknow? I said, well, man,
it'd be fun. Come on,man, we'll show these guys how

to do it. We know we'llprobably win this thing, right, So
we drafted. We had the firstpick. We had McCoy. We picked
McCoy, Queene McCoy, and CalvinJohnson. This is I think twenty thirteen,
Okay. The team was called SugarlandExpress because we worked in sugar Land,

Texas well. We ended up ohto thirteen that year, and there
were three hundred and fifty five teamsin the main event that year and we
were the only zero and thirteen teams. I'm proud of you. So what
that showed us was these guys aregood. Yeah, and this system was

different, totally different than what wewere used to doing. And uh but
anyway, it it. You know, ever since then our home league,
we followed these rules and it's justit's the best. I can't stand the
tight end premium leagues, the youknow, the different the two wide receiver

(12:54):
yea two flex or one three rodereceiver one flex. I can't. I
can't stand playing those. This isI think, by far the best format.
Yeah, no, this is athis is a great format. I
love it. The three receivers,the two flex. It really pushes pushes
the limits here. And also thehonestly the best thing about the f FWC

and full time is the live thelive draft, man, I mean that
the experience in Vegas. When yougo out there, you feel like a
high roller. You're you're you're draftingin suits. You know you're drafting.
Last year we're top golf as well. Last year I drafted there. You
know, you're right at CIRCA thebest place to do this in the entire
world. Uh, the Thursday nightparty, Friday night, we left to

make something happen again this year.But it's just such a great time.
They do it right. The food, the drinks, the experience is absolutely
wonderful. So yeah, kud kukudos to them, the best in the
business. And yeah, no,it's fun. It's fun. It's fun
to do these. I like doingthese midstakes. I like doing the high

quest tell him the other night thatthis guy's gonna kill me because he's like,
he's like my hair on an addict, right, I just can't.

to get as much as him asI can't. Yeah, yeah, yes,
once you start, Yeah, Ican't. I can't wait too.
Uh. Anthony hates him. Anthonysays he's a bust. Listen. If
you think he's gonna get hurt,fine, but as obvi as he doesn't
hurt. For the year, hemissed four five games. Most running MIxS
miss four five games. The gameshe plays, he is going to be
a top three running back. Soand he's my RB two. So I'm
fine. I'm fine with that,all right, Team one Gatsby, I

gotta be honest. Team the firstand second pick this year and maybe even
the third. I kind of hatebecause I don't like at this point in
the off season, I don't likethe two three turn. Nothing. There
hasn't been any camp news, there'sbeen no injuries, there's been nothing,
and I think the two three turnis just kind of a flat tier for
me. That's why I've been takinga chant at the two three turn,
because I like the pop that hebrings to a roster. Pittman more Collins,

Evans Swaddle, They're kind of likea flat tier for me, So
I don't love picking in there.So McCaffrey, you feel like you have
to pick McCaffrey or Lamb at theone two here another reason why I don't
like picking at the top, butget but Gatsby goes McCaffrey, more Collins.
Fine, I can't argue with thatthat those guys are going at ADP

there. Maybe More was a littlebit early, But Collins he could be
the wide receiver. Three, hecan be the white two, he can
be the bide receiver. One.I'm not really on Collins because I just
don't know, uh no training campyet to really break that down, So
it'll be interesting to see kind ofwhere Nico Collins finishes as the receiver there
and for for Houston, Tim Meyer, CD lamb Att two. Overall fine,

I love it, Kyrien Williams,Isaiah Pachaco. I think that's a
little early to double tap running backin this tournament. You really want to
have three solid receivers and you canstart up to five. Pa check Oh,
I like I got him in thelate fourth in the other night's draft,
so at the three oh two isn'tvalue. I'm okay. With one

of them, I wouldn't take bothKyron. I don't want to get too
much away of my strategy, butI'm kind of off Kyron this year because
he's a he's he's a chain butaround around earlier and kind of less competition.
But we'll we'll we'll talk about thatlater. And then I like to
start Tyreek kill Pittman Evans again.Now he's a flat tier for me.

Hill's good flat tier for me.Starting zero RB, I'm I doc,
go ahead, go ahead, Jerry. Yeah, the the you're on the
clock. Yeah, Picks one throughthree, the second, third rounds.
It's pretty much the same guys.So you're just you know, you know,

Moore and Nico Collins. I mean, they're both on teams that have three
other or two other you know,valid options at wide receiver, and man,
I don't I don't know what todo about those guys. I love
DJ Moores as a football player,and but man, he's got Allen and

and the rookie, and then ofcourse Collins has Tank dal who's one of
my favorites, and you know digso I mean, man, I don't
know what to do about those guys. Uh yeah, sorry, who are
you talking about those? Jerry dJ. Moore and Collins. Yeah,
I just don't know what to do. Again, both of them are in
are in receiving courses. They havethree good receivers, you know, and

then you got Comebat, you gotrunning backs. You can catch them all.
Like I just and not knowing atthat point in the draft. It's
it's tough, you know, youknow so, But again I get that's
where their ADP is. That's whyI don't like drafting up there at all.
And that's why I take a channelup there because I just I we
don't know. It's it's sort ofnow again, this will change in a
month where there might be injuries.If we get an injury, do a

receiver here at receiver there, Nowall of a sudden you are more confident
in the guys to take. Butbut right now kind of tough. Yeah,
I'll go through team nine through twelve. Zulu, Steve Mercer, AJ
Brown of course, and Taylor.I've been hung up on Taylor or Barkley.
I'm back and forth on those twoand talking to Andrew the other day

and he taught me into Barkley,so I'm back on Barkley. There,

I can't believe I've been seeing himgo late and round four middle,
round four. That's crazy. Hewas the number four running back last year.
I don't understand what's changed. Youknow, nothing's changed there, right
except I guess the different offensive coordinator. But yeah, not much has changed

there. I think the thing withRashad what, I think, it's fine,
he's fine as RB twelve. Thething about it is he just wasn't
good last year like he was.He wasn't efficient at all. He wasn't
a good player. He just gota ton of volume and a ton of
catches. So if yeah, whichis what you want from your running backs.
But with the new offensive coordinator,if something's changed, you know,
it could it could really hinder him. But I'm okay with him at running

back twelve because who ya kind ofstacking him up against other running backs kind
of in the same Cis situation.Yeah, but he you know, he
was, he's efficient. You don'tget points for being efficient, sure,
and he was running back for lastyear. Yeah, I don't. I'm
really confused as to why he's droppingso far. And this is actually kind

of early from what I've ben.Sie and Kirk. I like Kirk more
than others do, so you know, I like that start for Scott.
I love his third pick and thefourth pick rape Apes Pookah. I said
I wouldn't draft him where he's going, and then I drafted him at pick

eleven the other night, So youknow, Gibbs love Gibbs had him last
year. Yeah, Cooper, Uhyeah, he was old Dallas guy and
they sent him to Cleveland and heseemed like he was always heard at Dallas
and but man, he just produces, you know, he kind of reminds

me a little bit of Evans.And then Zay Flowers. He's been going
late round three. So that's agood pick there. So so these teams
look pretty good on the back.Yeah, no exactly. I like I
agree with most of what you whatyou said there for sure, and so

yeah, that was that was team'stime through twelve. So what teams were
got left here that we got wegot I'll do four through six. Okay,
good luck Predator starting running back,running back, running back in a

complaints, Stevenson, no complaints there, don't hate any of the players,

gets a little bit of value onBarkley, and I love Coup this year.
Actually I have him. I thinkhe's gonna be better than wide receiver
nineteen if he stays healthy. SoI think that'll be good for them.
I like to build so far andthen something we've got Jefferson widell neighbors.
Love that. I love neighbors,even as wide receiver twenty. Me.
I'm not a James Cook guy.I'm from Western New York. I'm a

Bills fan. I want my runningdecks to catch passes and get goal line
work. He doesn't get goal linework. He drops a lot of passes.
He's not the goal line back there. He was third in the league
in rushing for Fantasy and he finisheslike RB twelve. So like, I
don't know what much more you canexpect from him. He's he's got.
I think he has four rushing touchdownsfor two seasons, so that's gonna be

tough. But I like the buildplayers. I love Higgins. I'm I'm
pissed that he just went here becauseI do love Higgins. I would I
would have definitely taken him with mynext pick here. But but yeah,
so Higgins is a good, goodpick, and I like the roster kind
construction. Yeah, predator starting threerunning backs. I'm not on in ATM

for some reason this year. Iwas on that year. Yeah. The
the wide receivers drop off big timeafter round five and six. So he's
my a hard time finding, youknow, three starters that he likes.

I can get at uh, AndrewAndrew huge, I'm on Saint Brown
guy. I remember listening to Fabianoon the radio a few years ago talking

about how Aman wasn't that good andthe only reason he had scored so many
points the year before because the tidyend went down, and and I remember
Andrew talked to me out saying,man, this guy's a player. Man,
he's a stud. And sure enoughhe was right. This guy's one
of my favorite players. I knowhe ain't one of Andrew's favorite. So
he Andrew likes a Yuke. I'mnot high on a Yuke. Uh,

it's a little early for him,but you know, I think Andrew likes
him. DeVante Smith, I lovehim. I like him better than aj
Brown Pickens Pickings man, you don'tknow about him. He could be top
five or you know, fiftieth,but I'm taking him this year. Ken

I've got more Kincaid than anybody,so you know, as far as all
the early picks, he could easilybe tight en one this year. So
this is a great start for Andrew. Of course, he's gonna hate me

saying that. He's like snake.He hates and when people say their team's
good, he can't stand that.But Adam B. John, nothing else
you can do there except maybe GarrettWilson. Drake London. Man, I'm
just can't do Drake London. Whytalking about about Drake London. I love

him, I can't I know mostpeople do. I'm different in that.
I mean, I'm not drafting everybodyelse is. I think their organization is
a mess and their their GM willwill be gone next year. So I
don't trust anybody at Atlanta right now. Chain like I said, he's the

heroine and I'm ann addict. That'smy guy there. Diggs always liked Diggs.
He's a little bit of a diva, which I don't like, but
he produces. He's good. Hemight be the wide receiver one in Houston
and got receiver three Jerry. Yeah. I've always I can't stand Hopkins,

and because I've heard things about himin years what he does, and I've
never been a fan of his,but last year he he he surprised me.
I gained back a little respect forhim. But I'm not anybody knows.
I'm not a Higgins or Hopkins guy. I can't stand either one of
them. Teams Cruz, Garrett Wilsoncould be wide receiver one. Who knows

there's I mean, how could heget what he did last year with his
quarterbacks? Amazing? You're on theclock a lobby. I'm picking him earlier
than most people are, so that'sa good pick in my mind. Metcalf.
I love Metcalf, always have.He's tough. I love guys that.
I saw him get a knee injuryyears A couple of years ago,

I said he'll never return, andhe was there next week. I'll always
be a Metcalf fan. Jacobs,I'm a Jacob's guy. He's he's like
polarizing. Some people don't like him. I kind of like him. Kenneth
Walker. Injuries are a problem,you know, Bride. I'm on Kinkaid,

so I'm not getting too much fromMcBride, but I love the player.
So as always, Russell Cruz hasa solid team there. Yeah,
No, russ is one of oneof the best. Uh just cover a
couple of picks that you said,Brandon Ayuk. Yeah, it's early for
Ayuk. Everyone loves the talent.But speaking of a mess, the organization

is on a mess, but thesituation with Ayuk could be a mess.
This stuff happens all the time withsome receivers. Every year, like you
always have a situation like this andusually they end up kind of being ugly
there. You know, the Ninersare kind of in a good spot there.
They you know, they drafted arookie early and so I Yuke if
he wants to mess around, Imean they can kind of just you know,

(29:45):
tell them to hit not not nothit the road because he's great and
they're trying to win a Super Bowl. But I just don't like the way
that that's going there now. Andit's a little early for him there as
well. So I agree with alot of that. I got digs over
