Speaker 1 (00:30):
Welcome to the Full Time Fantasy Podcast, presented by the
Fantasy Football World Championship, home to the industry's most accurate rankings.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
What is up, everybody? Welcome the Full Time Fantasy Podcast.
I'm your host as usual, Adam Crowers, and with me
tonight is the defending World Champion. Pat. How are you
doing tonight, sir?
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I'm doing well. I'm doing well. How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'm doing doing great? My friend doing great. You have
second time on the show. Last time we had John,
you were the winning the whole thing, and uh, you're
still You're still riding high? Or is it that?
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Back to the grind as usual both. I'm happy. Waiver
wires are done this week, so the grind becomes a
little different now now it's just lineup grind, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
The people people who are in home home leagues have
no idea what it's like, even if you did the
same amount of home leagues as we do high stakes leagues.
That the waivers are different the fab and there's never
anybody on waivers.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Literally, no, no.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
You just gotta go. Oh, let's go get Isaiah Grond. No,
Isaac Garno has been gone for eight weeks.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
He's been cut by a lot of teams. He's I know, available,
but no one can have them, so okay, correct, correct.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
So yeah, it's it's it's it's interesting, it's fun, it's
it's nice to be done with the grind for a
lot of waivers after this week. Yeah, and uh no
and excited. I'm excited to do this, so to jump
into it. So let's jump into week fourteen year doo
little preview, uh the week coming up here. We'll probably
talk a little bit of waivers as we get through,
(02:27):
uh this a little bit. Not that there's much out there.
You know, there's tricking defenses and kickers and all that stuff. Well,
I go, I should probably ask you carry more than one.
The cool thing about FWC is it's team kicker, which
is awesome. Yeah, because you don't have to carry too.
But do you carry two defenses or two kickers?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Sometimes? Yeah, it depends on the team. Like I was
the smartest guy in like leeg eleven, and I picked
up every forty nine er kicker I could get there.
You go, oh, I'm this is it. They got a
great schedule. At the end, they're going to be kicking
field goals. They're going to be ahead, and then they
turned into a crappy football team and Blackbirdy can't throw
(03:04):
the ball more than four yards down the field. I
had to get off of that train.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah. Plus they end up playing in a snowstorm in Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yes, yeah, so I did some panic waivers on Sunday
morning to get rid of all my shares of those.
But but yeah, like two defenses, yes, kickers generally, No,
it's like, because it's team kicker, Like you said, you
just get what you get and you're like, I'll take it,
you know.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah, And that's exactly right, Like I think it's like
the point of having team kicker. The great thing about
it is you don't have to waste a roster spot
come playoff time because you know, there's no for people
who are listening to don't know, there's no waivers once
the playoffs hit. So you generally, in other tournaments you'd
have to carry an extra kicker or an extra defense
just obviously defenses don't get hurt, but kicker can get hurt, right,
(03:54):
And I know, and it's hard, you know, it's hard
to win an overall without a kicker. Pat a b
bag Betoba. Uh. He won the football guys back over
at the FFPC maybe three or four years ago. It's
a mid stakes tournament half a million or a million
up top. A couple of years ago. He had the
final two weeks. He didn't have a kick her he's
still which is incredible tournament.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
But that's why I carry three quarterbacks on most teams now. Yeah,
because last year the team I thought was my best
team had Herbert and Russell Wilson, and Russell Wilson got
contracted out of Denver and stopped starting, and Herbert got
hurt and I literally had no quarterback the last two weeks.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I know, dude, I know it makes you sick. All
that money, like all that money won all them and
you don't know. I mean, looking at it now, you've
got Trevor Lawrence and you've got all these different guys.
There's no freaking it's I'm looking at teams with three
quarterbacks that I have in the playoffs, and I for
comfy normally why do I have three? But then you
look at it like, man, I could probably use another quarterback,
(04:58):
especially William maybe he gets benched the last week of
the year or something.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Great. Yeah, I was looking at it today and I've
got Lamar on two teams and one team. I didn't
pick up quarterback all year. I'm like, screw it. I'm
I'll figure it out eventually. And the team I thought
was so good, I didn't have anybody that was cutable
all these weeks. So I'm rolling with Cooper Rush.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
There you go, big time, baby, let's hurt. That's right,
that's he doesn't have the worst match in the world
this week.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
It's actually pretty good, right right.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
So yeah, so actually we'll get to that college game.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
But let's start.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Let's start tomorrow night. What we got Lions packers again
in the fifth we just had Lions Lions.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Pack Yeah, no weather this time.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
No weather this this time. So we've got Detroit's minus
three and a half as of as of right now,
team team's pretty healthy. You know, you got hopefully a
shootout for us for US fantasy guys. Jordan loves soft
place in your heart obviously somebody last year. But what
do you think of this game coming out here tomorrow night?
(06:05):
Thursday night games, you can get nervous about those.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I so, so the hard part about Thursday night games
for me is not putting guys in my starting lineup
who are on playing on Thursday because you want that
immediate gratification. You're like, wait a minute, it's a primetime game.
He could really go off or get your one point six,
and now you're behind everybody. I think tomorrow is going
(06:30):
to be a shootout, I hope. So no Romeo Dobbs,
So all my Packer shares of read and Craft and
Watson I'm liking, and I got a ton of Gibbs
in Montgomery, So I'm hoping they take the lead and
the Packers have to play catchup.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Right, that would be ideals as well for me. I've
got some Watson that's been and Wicks rodding away on
the bench. But this week with the bye weeks, like,
I think I have a couple that I can slide
him in there and this might be the week and
a shootout without Dobbs and so yeah, I've got I've
(07:10):
got one team I know, a playoff team that's got
two of those receivers that you know what, maybe I'll
just throw them both in there and hopefully one of
them scores ply the other one could do. Yeah, so
exactly what you said, we're looking for a shootout here.
So you're starting all the usual suspects, the Packers receiving core.
I think you can get to Wix, You can get
to Watson if if you have to, and then I
think you're starting to ever everybody else. Right about to
(07:32):
Tucker Craft, I mean, he hasn't been amazing, but I
think you could probably get to get to him too, right.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
He's he's hard to predict, and I have him on
like eighty percent of my teams. Yeah, I've got TJ.
Hockinson on a lot of those teams, so it's like,
all right, one or the other or both. But I
mean Detroit's been tough against tight ends, but they haven't
played a ton of good tight ends. Yeah, so he's
(08:00):
a coin flip honestly, But the rest of them, for sure.
I mean, you're starting Josh Jacobs, You're probably starting any receiver.
Wix is the one you you look at and go
if I got no better options with six teams.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
On it, right, Yeah, and the Tucker Craft, so he
has the second toughest tight end matchup this this week,
but he's you know, am I starting Will Disley over him?
Probably be the chief sucking against tight ends? You know?
Am I starting Giseki maybe I'm trying to I'm trying
to look at the tight endser KT like it's got
(08:34):
a really good matchup this week. I like for him
to bounce back. We'll talk about them, you know, on
to King K'll be back. So yeah, I mean I
think you could get off Craft for sure. Ya.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
It depends who you have on your team. I mean,
you know, some teams I'm like, oh he's starting, and
other teams I'm like, maybe a flex you know.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Yeah, yeah, no, totally totally agree. So yeah, cross your
fingers on the same as you. Dude. I like to
get guys in these these Thirstay night games because I'm
just selfish like that. I want to I want to
see Sam play.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah. Well that one Cincinnati Thursday night game, I had
Chase and Lamar and Chase Brown. I had over one
hundred points.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I know, oh, this is.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
A nice way to start. And I looked at my
other teams and I was down nineties. So I'm like, yeah, yeah,
you give you get yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
And then who would have thought that Monday night game
freaking last night to Denver And I mean that what
a Denver clear what a banana shootout? That dude I
had a mid stakes team that lost in the Semis
on the second Denver pick six, the second one that's like,
oh really, like that's the way we're gonna go down
(09:45):
thirty points in the defense. Whatever. It was so stupid,
but yeah, I'll do another a million leagues like that.
So all right, Carolina and Philly, this should be a
nice for the Philly. For the Philly guys here getting
a great, great match up Saquon going for you know,
going for the rushing title. This could be a game
that could really put him there. Obviously starting all of
(10:06):
your Eagles in this, in this and then this matchup?
Where are you with the Panthers backfield? You know? So
I didn't get to watch a ton of football on Sunday.
I was actually at the Bills game, so I didn't
get to see a lot of this game. But it
looks like Hubbard gave a little bit of work up
to Jonathan Brooks. Is he crazy? Can Brooks be a
(10:28):
crazy I got six teams on by Can he be
a crazy? Flex player? RB? Two?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
I mean, if it wasn't the Eagles, yes for sure.
I mean, so I guess it's how's this game going
to go? If the Eagles get up twenty one early,
are they going to play Brooks? You know, I have
Hubbard and Brooks on a bunch of teams, and I'm
looking at it. I'm like, it's a terrible matchup for
running backs.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
And Hubbard is succeeding some of the work to Brooks
now and Brooks on the few touches he had looked
really explosive.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
I haven't made my choice there yet, but but I
mean Brooks as a flex with six teams on by,
I could see it, I know.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
And the other thing too, is I mean the bad
luck he comes back, right, he finally gets back and
it's the Kansas City Chiefs defense.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
He's like, all right, never mind, and then Eagles.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
And then Eagles. It's like, okay, yeah, what the heck?
But but yeah, so no, I think you're right. Maybe
he becomes a past catching back in that scenario, in
that type of game. Who knows. Again, you're flipping a coin,
but no strong opinions there. If you can bench him,
I would because of the matchup, because he's splitting carries,
(11:45):
you know, best case, But feeling I kind of like, okay,
like I guess I'm rocking with Feeling again. If the
big week he had last week?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Right?
Speaker 2 (11:54):
And another did he have a touchdown? Called back?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Dude? He did and it was a touchdown. Oh I
only had him on I only have him on one
team and he was riding my bench for some two
me shouldn't have been playing. And he looked like the
Minnesota Vikings Adam Feeling to me, and I'm like, yeah,
I might have to play him this week on that
one team for sure.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I'm kind of excited to get those types and listen
to give him credit. We know we've been we've been
bashing him forever, but you know, the quarterback looks like
he could play a little bit now. He looked helped
him out.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I think, yeah, Bryce Young kind of got it now.
It slowed down for him. I mean I don't I'm
not rostering him, but but I wouldn't shame anyone who
said I got lamar on By. I'm playing Bryce Young
this week right.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Right, And and again we don't really care about Bryce Young
for Bryce Young, for I'm looking to start him. But
it's cake. Can you just forget that's why we like Dalton?
Oh my god, he could get the ball to Deontay
Johnson or Adam Feelin or whatever, the ghost of Deontay Johnson.
I gathered, may he rest in beast, but he.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Got suspended today.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
To just know it's what it's say.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
He was on so many of my teams. I know
in three weeks ago, I had a moment and I'm like,
I had to come to Jesus moment and I'm like,
I'm cutting him on every team and I don't care
if it cost me.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
I had to come to Jesus moment today and I
couldn't do it. I'm staring at him. I'm like, still,
I dude, I couldn't I just throw invest. He's on
a team drop Do I drop him? Or do I
drop my second defense? And I'm like, let me just
drop him, let me drop my second defense. I can't.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
It's terribly so talented, but he's a head case.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
So so yeah. So I'm I'm okay with feeling this
week for sure running backs and not so much. And
you're starting all your Eagles that you can get, hopefully
devianta Smid's bag. Goddard's probably out Calcaterra. He's worth a
pick up for sure, because especially if Goddard's on the
I R and he's also I mean, let me see
having my rankings. I mean, I don't love starting, but
(14:04):
he's got a good match up. You could see him
outscoring Noah Gray or Cole Kamatt or Joan Johnson or something.
You know, he's looked decent.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
He's talented. Yes, I mean I agree with Elkaterra wine mixer.
I mean if.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
The wine mixer, I love it all right. Moving on,
let's talk about Jets Dolphins here Miami minus six and
a half at Miami, some nice weather. Like to see
them kind of get going like they did the last
game there. Jayalen Wado has gotten going a little bit.
A Chan, I mean, a Chan is a guy that
I have absolutely everywhere. The only reason I don't have
(14:43):
more Derrick Henry is because I've got all the A
Chan in the world. I'm perfectly happy with that. And
how yeah, yeah, no, that's's absolutely right. So so yeah,
you're starting all your You're starting all your Dolphins. I
feel like I need to apologize. It's a holiday season, Pat,
you know I'm feeling friendly this. I feel like I
(15:03):
need to apologize to Arthur Smith. Believe it or not
because John new Smith is unbelievable. Kyle Pitts is terrible,
and we bashed him for like.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Two years, right, we did all of us.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
And now the Steelers offense is going crazy, right, oh
my god.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Yeah, and Corradelle Patterson is is Arthur's guy either way?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Right, right? But it's like, dude, John, who's gonna you know,
he's been.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
A league winner. I drafted John U in so many
places and then cut him and like four or five
because the Dolphins were terrible, they had no offense. He's
been the best tight end for the last three weeks
and top five for what six or seven weeks?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
And they're dude, and they're listen to this. So Jerry,
Jerry's right, Jerry has a question and it's sick to
even think about. Yeah, John Smith or Travis Kelcey like
the fact that that's a question, and it is it
is both of them. Kelsey is a terrible man. He's
got the work. Irwin James, yes, he's got the Chargers. Yeah,
and John who's got the Jets. But the Jets aren't
(16:16):
easy either.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
But man, I but the Jets defense lately without Salah
hasn't been the same.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Be the same. I like they're force feeding John O. Smith.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
He's he's option number one. Tyreek Hill and Wabble are afterthoughts.
It's Jane and John new Smith.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
All right, unless you're playing against me, Jia, I think
you're actually trying to catch me in the league. So
if that's the league, you start Travis Kelcey, Okay, you
start Kelsey. But that's the But that's the type of
stuff that we're looking at here. So yeah, John, I've
got him in some some really ones where he's really killing.
He's I haven't been some Titan Premium leagues and he's
just oh my god, he's.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Just been so stupid.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
So yeah, you're starting all your dolphins that you can
get your hands on. And then sorry, I'm trying. Thought
here was just the Jets.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah, Jets. Yeah, go with.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Garrett Wilson, Going with Devontae Adams. You know, yeah, I
wonder who is ranging in the shadow, Like, I don't
know how that's gonna Probably Ramsey on Adams a lot.
But you got to roll the dice with Breece Hall.
Hall still, even though he had the injury and lost
some work to Breyln Allen, he still saw his usual.
Oh yeah, Harry loads and the splits and all that. Yeah,
(17:26):
just hasn't been that that monster.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
He's he's looking at he's playing heard, I think, I
mean he they they took him out right before halftime
in the game, and it looked like he was done
for the game because they were looking at the same knee. Yeah,
and he came back and started the third quarter, but
he just doesn't look the same. And yeah, Rogers is ruining.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
That whole the vibe everything, I know.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yeah, I thought he was gonna dump off the Hall
so much and Hall would have six seven catches a game.
I know, it's not happening.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Nothing, nothing crazy. I mean, he's had some big games.
They haven't. I've got a I've got a Maine man,
I got f fw C Maine. That's that I started.
I started Gibbs. I'm sorry, I sorry. I started Hall,
Breiste Hall, Gibbs, a Chan and they're in and I'm like,
love looking at that roster. But it's like Hall isn't.
(18:20):
If Hall could just get back to that twenty point
not for a week, man, that team could do some
damage because probably.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
One of the only scenes, yeah an Chan, they're eighteen
to twenty points every week. At this point, I.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Know that's that's a that's a fun team to look at.
So if he can get get rolling, But yes, you're
starting Adams, you're starting to get Garrett Wilson. I would
stay with conk Land, he doesn't really do much. And
Rogers I would stay away from him too, but again,
Rogers is a guy. That's another guy. Look, if you've
got two quarterbacks and Rogers your second quarterback, you're probably
picking I would pick up a third.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
He's sitting at Russell Wilson. At any moment, he.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Could get benched. He's not getting match. If he gets better,
he's not coming. He's well, he could go on a retreat, right,
that's right. At this point, he's like, screw it, I'll
just go on to Montana. At this point, yeah, I
know I had him on my team. That's second overall. Yeah, Lamar,
And last week I'm like, no, I can't.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Stick with this because something stupid is gonna happen and
I'm not going to have a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
So yeah, pick up, pick up a third. Even if
it's who I should probably know this, who's the backup
in for the Jets. I don't even know, even even
if you pick him up just just in case, just
so you don't have to get to zero with Rogers.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Like, I can't believe. I don't know the answer to that.
Probably Oh wait, it's Tyrod Taylor.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
That's right, is Tyrod Taylor's Tyrod Taylor is you could
do way worse than Tyrod Taylors.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Tyrod Taylor.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
Guy, you know I'm gonna do you know, let's let's
let's get up the show.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah, let's go on, let's pick.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Up all right? Right, next game, Raiders, Bucks, I mean
Bucks are minus seven? What's going on with Big Daddy Oughton?
Because this guy was carrying me for a month and
Mike Evin comes back and nothing.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Kate Otton's a fraud?
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Do that to me? Come on, he is?
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I know, he got twelve targets a game because there
was literally no one but the running backs to throw to. Yeah,
but they weren't well with.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
They weren't five yard outs.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
I mean they were they were seams up the middle.
I mean, he he, I'm watching these games and I'm like,
I can't believe I have no Kate Otten. He's terrible
at football, but I got no Kate Atton. This is terrible, right,
I know, I know, and then the first game back
with Evans, it's like, okay, that's why I have no
Kate Otton.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I guess I got a great matchup. The Raiders suck
against tight is, so you could definitely do wor I
have him as a top ten guy this week.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
He probably is. But if they get up too much
and they just start running or throwing screens to the backs.
Ye know, now that they have Evans, that opens up
the backs for so much screens. I mean we saw
Bucky last week.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
They catch so many passes. So you're starting Evans, you're
starting I think I'm starting, and you're starting yeah, Bucky
Irving for sure, top ten back, maybe rust Away, Yeah,
and you're probably starting with Shad White because of the
pass catching ability like as.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
A I mean, he's still played like fifty percent of
the snaps. He just didn't get the ball a lot.
So they get a lead, he'll be in there.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Yep, exactly. So you're starting all those guys, and then
you're definitely starting Hall of Famer Brock Bowers. I want
to get a Hall of Famer Brock Boers T shirt.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Because he's just dude, the best that guy.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
He's so good. He's so good. I've got him on
a couple of teams too. He was the guy that
I got to like if I missed out on all
the elite ones, right, I was like, Okay, I didn't
get an elite guy. Bowers has the upside.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Let me.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
I mean I didn't expect. I mean I expected this
first career, like I knew he'd be good. But right
out of the gate, Devotay Adams was there right now
is gonna get It's just run beautifully for him.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Oh amazed at him. I didn't have him in any leagues.
And then I got in the league with Jason Weiler
and we we took him as our tight end one
because he's like he was hot to trot for him.
And this is when we were in Vegas. So then
I had a draft the next day and I took
him in a draft, and I'm like, holy cow, this
guy's killing it.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah yeah, No, I waited on tight end.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Taysom Hill and TJ. Howkinson are my tight ends.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Yeah yeah, And I waited.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Everybody picked a tight end, somebody picked some more tight ends,
and then I'm like, I'll take a tight end now.
But yeah, brock Bowers is the thing.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
He's so good, so you're starting him. Jacoby Myers has
been good enough, and he's been he's been fine. The
backfield is garbage, but listen, uh there's some there's uh
what is his.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Name is here? Since deer McCormick.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
McCormick, you know, I'm a tent like, I don't know
his name is. I tried to get him on waivers today.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Yeah, exactly. There's no waivers tonight, no waivers.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
So that's a guy worth putting a waiver bit on here.
Maybe he gets the backfield a mirror Abdullah. I needed
to start him like two weeks ago to get into
the playoffs, and something.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Scored.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
It's unbelievable. It's the best. But but yeah, so I'm
not touching any other I mean, McCormick. If you got
to start him this week, I would see if the
other running backs are still hurt though, right.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Well, right, yeah, yeah, Pierce talked well about him, but
he did. If the other guys come back, it's probably
a split like the Kansas City backfield, and then you're
then you got.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Nothing right, right exactly? Then then you're not you.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Know, everybody gets six points yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Yeah, right exactly, and hopefully if you're still if you're
still alive, you have a better roster, a little bit
of a deeper roster.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Than Yeah, you get through the Henry and you can
figure it.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Out right, right exactly, But yeah, and they could be
getting their doors boned off two against Tampa and.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Then yeah, any those garbage time games, anything can happen,
and you're like, well, this guy got twenty two points,
he got all of them at the end of the game.
But who cares, I mean, and it's not when it's
it's any I know.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
So maybe that is Abdullah then if you if you
have to do yeah, but I'm definitely not looking to
get them in a lineup for sure. All Right, Saints
at Giants and just another gross game, good War. New
Orleans is minus five on the road. That the four
and eight Saints are minus five on the road.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
How against the mighty Giants?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
How does that? Yeah happen.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
But there are some fantasy assets here.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
There are some fantasy assets. Well, unfortunately you were talking
about your tight ends situation. Now you got to find something. Listen,
Jawan Johnson.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Oh yeah, could be someone else to the ball to,
I mean, m vs. Whatever.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
It blows my mind. He was with the Bills. He
gets caught and then he goes.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
To Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
He had quarterbacks and Derek Rogers m v P Royan
Rogers exactly. Yeah, so three Hall of Fame MVP quarterbacks
and now he's got Derek Carr chucking him the rock
and he's an m v P.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
He's tearing it up. So so stupid. We don't know anything,
we know not but but yeah, so, I mean you're
not looking to start like any receivers there, Kamara. You
know what I know. What I'm interested in is I'm
interested in the running backs. Is the situation there? So
this week we get oh, sorry.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Miller, no one knows Hendre Miller, no one knows everyone
knows him.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
A damn we get this this this week. There's actually
a league pat where I've got like I I forget him.
It's so many leagues, but like, I have a really
good RB one and I had my second running backs
on a bye and I've got like seven running backs
that all suck, and I will put Kendrew Miller in there.
I'm gonna start Miller and hopefully he gets because they said, well.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
No, this is isn't Isn't he still on IR through
week fourteen?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I don't think he is.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Let me, okay, Dennis Allen just put his ass on
IR without he wasn't hurt.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
But he wasn't hurt. He was not he was not hurt.
I think he's eligible. I'll figure that out.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Oh, okay in a minute here.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
But I think I think he is eligible to come
back this week, and even if this week next week
he said, wheels up for Kendra Miller as soon as yeah,
he is, he is available this week. Okay, all right, Now,
granted again it's not exciting, but the but listen, you
could see a world where the Saints are crushing the
Giants and then hey, let's ride Miller. Let's see what
he's got.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Right, or or somehow the Giants are up thirty with
Drew Locke and the Saints go, screw it, put him in.
It's either going to be a nine to six game
or someone's winning thirty to twelve.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
There you go, there, there you go. As long as
Kendra Miller gets you know, fifteen touches, I'm.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Three catches, four catches, yeah, I mean, do the Amar
Abdullah game.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
And that's fine, you'll be fine. So, like I said,
I've got a roster full of freaking you know, Trey
Benson can Kenneth game. Well, come on the doll. You
know I'm gonna start.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
I got I got one of those teams fighting for
their playoff lives with one running back and six guys.
You're like, his mom wouldn't start him.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
No, No, his poor mother. Jerry n w I whisper Keener.
M vs. Westbrook a kine baby. Come on, this guy
scores every single week.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
He's He's broken every rule. There is no catches, eight touchdowns,
howl in the world.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
I love it. I started m vs.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Numbers.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Actually, you know, I know that's right, that's right. I'm
going Westbrook.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeah, probably playing us Jerry right right the other.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Way he probably is to you know, Jerry's looking up
the matchups right. Oh yeah, we're throwing ourselves under the
under the bus so bad. All right, you're starting neighbors.
You're starting Tyrone Tracy in this game, obviously.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Yeh quarterbacking. Do you know yet?
Speaker 2 (28:11):
No, I think I think it's I think it's Lock.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
It should be, but yeah, they love their their guy.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Well, like Lock is a gun slinger. You know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
At least Home brings fantasy goodness.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Correct, he's like James, you know what I mean, Like.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
He's the white Jamis Winston.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Let that thing rip. I'll let it rip. But I
like Tyrone Tracy this week as an RB two.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
I'd be happy New Orleans doesn't tackle. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
No, no, no, no, especially in that cold up there.
Yeah and so yeah, I mean, no receivers, just speak
up over there, neighbors you're starting hopefully hopefully Lock can
get uh can get neighbors rolling here because he's just
been for you know, for six weeks. Yeah, yeah, something
like that. So all right, moving on Falcons Vikings, Kirk Cousins,
(29:02):
you know, fighting for his job over there, just over
the last week we see, we see him. But so yeah,
we got Falcons at Vikings. Vikings are six point favorites.
Another one justin Jefferson just hasn't been hasn't gone off either.
I think it's cousins arm strength, man, I think he's
kind of shot.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yeah, well, Donald, Donald's arm strength for Jefferson.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
I'm sorry, yeah, yeah, yeah, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Donald looks and then he runs around some more, and
then he looks. He's the only guy that hasn't trusted
Jefferson to just throw him the damn ball and he'll
figure it out every play. The rest of them cousins,
whoever the guy was before they figured it out, they
just threw it to Jefferson. He caught it. Yeah, and
Donald just won't do it.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Who was the coach that they asked a couple weeks ago,
like how did how did Sam Donald develop? And the
coach said justin Jefferson or something like, I forget who
the coach was.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yeah, I mean Jefferson, Jefferson the ball and Donald will
look a lot better. And he's got Hockinson. I mean,
he's got Jordan Addison, he's got weapons, I know, Jones
out of the backfield.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
And he's a he's a quarterback. I'm kind of counting
at because I've got him in a lot of like
two QB buills, Like later on you're taking taking Donald
and a and a party or something like that. So
I'm kind of playing the matchup game. And so but
I like him. This week? Is he at home? I
forget what?
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Yeah, they're at home, so.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
In the dome. Why they'd have been but in a
dome hopefully, But that got that one. Hopefully we get
we can get a shootout. Get these guys rolling, but
obviously starting Jefferson, where are you with Addison? Are you?
Are you trusting him yet?
Speaker 1 (30:45):
I don't have any Addison at all, but but I
will say he's impressive. Oh yeah he I mean if
he makes one play, one play and he's he's he's
major starting. You know, he's okay. I'm glad I started
that guy. I have none of him, and I swear
(31:07):
to god, I play him six times each week and
it kills me.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
I know. But I think definitely this week, when you
got six teams on by, I think you can certainly
find a spot for him again. Yeah, it's a good
it's a good match up another Addison type player, Darnell
Mooney on the on the other side, Minister is a
good matchup.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
As a Bears fan, what he's doing is unbelievable and annoying,
Isn't that so it is?
Speaker 2 (31:30):
But he's he's a good receiver, the world's receiver.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
And you got London who got what sixteen targets last week?
So so Mooney is just kind of the second fiddle
and he's happy to do it. And I don't know
what they're doing with Kyle Pitts field last week.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
So of course they would never throw it to Kyle
Pitts in a million years. But Darnell Mooney, Yeah, Mooney,
I looked at it. Was it two weeks ago. I'm
just kind of looking at the stat. Mooney's a top
ten fantasy receiver? What what planet am I? How many
SIP receivers got hurt? All of them? Okay?
Speaker 1 (32:04):
Yeah, but like.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
You know, yeah, I mean you're starting Mooney, You're starting
Addison hoping for this shootout. Hey, if I'm doing dfast,
I don't really do DFS, but if I did, I'd
be stacking this game, man, Like, get these guys, Yeah,
both get both sides of it. Let it roll. Jon's
obviously a rock star. My concern with Bijon moving forward
is if they do move on from Cousins, who loves
with that baby arm now checking it down? Checking it down?
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Yeah, that would suck.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
If Penix was out there with Robinson.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
That's That's kind of my thing is I think Penix
is going to be a starter coming soon, and I
think you're going to see a whole different offense from
Atlanta and Bijeon looked incredible last week. But yeah, without
those little screens for times a game, it's a different
game for him.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
It's a whole different game. So yeah, we see and
a lot of these quarterbacks that like to run. Now,
Penis doesn't have great wheels, but you know a lot
of these rookie guys that kind of one read and go.
They don't really check out of the running back a lot.
It's kind of kind of hard there. But but when
you're starting this week, yeah, tough matchup Minnesota is a
tough one.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
But yeah, but he's so good, oh for sure, for sure.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
And then Aaron Jones are starting on the other side
also again matchup, just hoping for her for a shoot
out here, gets get.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Some get us fifty points on the board and see
what happens.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
That's right, gets get some decent weather, all right. Browns
at Steelers three and nine versus nine and three. Jameis
Winston might throw seven interceptions this game, but it'll put
up seven touchdowns too, so that'll be fun. Pittsburgh minus
six and a half. What do you think about the
Cleveland Cleveland Browns right now?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I love Jameis wins We all love James I love
Jameis Winston. I have Jamis on so many teams, and
he sat on so many benches this week. I know,
I'm just like, all right, I got decent production out
of Caleb and ar, but right had a forty burger
out of James.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
I know.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
I love Jamis.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
He's the best everybody.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
I mean, we need Cedric Tillman to get his head cleared.
And Jerry Judy had his one good game. Yeah every year,
and good luck if you have him. He's probably gonna
go three for thirty four this week and everybody will
be like, what happened.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Yeah, Pittsburgh's a tough, a tough defense.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
They got the Yeah, I mean James Jamis threw against
them in the cold and the snow a couple of
weeks ago, and he looked pretty good. He didn't get
any touchdowns, but he had over two hundred and twenty
yards or something. Yeah, they can throw the ball against him.
Chubb running against him. Chubb doesn't look himself yet. No,
I mean, man, I love that guy, but yeah, he's
(34:47):
gone through so much. Maybe next year, but he's not
there this year, you know.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
Yeah, for sure, Ford looked better Yeah Monday.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
And I mean and Joko should have had a touchdown
against the Steelers a couple of weeks ago. He dropped
it in the snow. You know, he'll probably have a
decent game, Elijah Moore, I know he's your crush, just
like mine. Yeah, probably have a good game. Yeah, you know,
well Tilman plays.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Yeah, they were receiving that's exactly right. They're receiving core
a lot, a lot, like like the Packers, right, they're
like four deep. But if you get one of those
guys not playing, yeah, now we can kind of play
the rest of them. Whereas like, if Tilman plays, you're
playing Tilman. But it's like and then you're you're still
probably gonna play. The ceiling is at nearest high. You
don't know who's gonna hit against a really tough pass defense, right,
(35:37):
you're not really excited about it. Whereas like, hey, if
we can get one of those guys out of there, right,
maybe we can maybe we can roll.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Yeah, now you need a touchdown basically, and then you're like, Okay,
I got fifteen. I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Yeah. Steelers side Man Pickens has been awesome. Yeah, I'm glad.
I have a bunch of a bunch of pickings. I
just bet on on the talent there. I didn't assume
he'd be a top ten fantasy receiver, but I'm pleasantly
surprised at the way that Wilson's kind of bounced back.
Naji Harris obviously has been been good. I'm okay starting
(36:10):
both running backs there if you have.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
To, as long as Arthur Smith doesn't do what he
did last week?
Speaker 2 (36:16):
What did you do last week? And I missed it.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Jalen Warren didn't get a touch until like three minutes
left in the second quarter. Oh my gosh, Cordel Patterson
was in when Nase wasn't. Nause actually went out of
the game with an injury. Yeah, I have so much
Jen right, so much Warren. I'm like, here we go,
here we go, and there's big number eighty four in
the backfield, and I'm like, you gotta be kidding me,
(36:40):
Arthur Smith, You're killing me. But yeah, Jalen Warren starred him.
If you got him. I mean, yes, it's Cleveland's a
tough run defense. But if the Steelers get the lead,
you know what's gonna happen. They're gonna pound the ball.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Yeah, yeah, Friary that I'm monster week. Last week he
had a really good matchup. Yeah, and then this week,
let's see how how the Browns are against the Browns
are even, like a dot even matchup. So yeah, not negative,
middle of the road, yeah road. So it depends what
the Steelers do. I mean last week they were throwing
(37:19):
the ball all over. Yeah, had three hundred yards at halftime.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
So they're probably not going to do that against the Browns,
and Miles Garrett probably won't let them, right, so you're
gonna need balance more.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
So so I mean friar Mouth probably still a good
start with six teams on by.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Right, yeah, I mean you're starting them over. I would
start him over get Sicky probably with a healthy yea
or there in Cincy. Yeah, I'm probably shut him over.
Juwan Johnson over Disley. I think that's closest. Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Would just start him over.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Never never start him over, big Daddy, No way, No.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
But he's tight end one or low, you know, low
tight end one, high at tight end two?
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Sure, yeah, like yeah, yeah, some just somewhere in there.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
So looking at no Taysom Hill, no Goddard and six
teams on by, he's probably top ten.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Yeah, I mean yeah, he's right in the mix with
I mean the top ten that night that I've kind
of got here is Bowers, Kelsey McBride, Kittle, John hu
and Djoku, Ingram, Laporta, Hockinson and the net where you
get to Kitatt and Ferguson, Tucker Craft Disleague. I think
he's in that's in that.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Oh yeah, definitely.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Okay, so I think that covers everybody on both of
those teams are starting. No kind of sneaky guys there,
all right, next game we have Jags at Titans. There's
not much to talk about Trevor Lawrence. Think he's out
for the year now. I think they just announced, which
you know sucks for him obviously personally. Yeah, and the
(38:59):
offense wasn't doing much. What can mac Jones do? Both
these teams suck, you know, I don't want.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
To start Ryan Thomas Junior or as all you should do?
Speaker 2 (39:10):
Yeah, Brian Thomas Junior or Evan Ingram like find Ingram
underneath one hundred percent agree? Parker Washington? Is that the
right name for them? Is he another guy that had
a good week last week?
Speaker 1 (39:23):
Changed his name now supposedly to Christopher Parker Washington. But yeah,
that's the guy.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Okay, yeah, he must have a brother doing waivers or something.
He doesn't want anybody to know what his name is
or whatever. But yeah, Parker Washington again, guys are hurt
for the year you're making kind of playing. You need
a guy before. Dude. There's some teams where I'm decimated
by oh yeah by bye weeks to start. I think
you could do worse than Washington.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
So he'll probably be losing.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
I mean, you know, yeah, I mean Matt Jones sucks,
so that it's both of these teams should try to lose, but.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
By but they'll both try to win way too much.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Yeah, that's high perfect, but yeah, I mean Pollard, this
is a nice spot for him because it's a game
that they they're three and a half point favorites. How
often are they ever favorites?
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Alright, so pot if you got him, I like it.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Westbrook a Keene for Jerry, that's right, Jerry, that's right.
He'll have two catches. If he has a touchdown, it's
a good week. If he doesn't, it's a bad week.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Right, that's right. Uh you start, really, I guess, yeah,
So nothing nothing sneaky. Westbrook and Keene is again a
guy that can get you a touchdown on a whim.
But I don't Chig's got a good matchup. But I
feel like he never just never does anything. Ever.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Well, they don't throw them the ball. He had one
seventy yard touchdown this year and that was it.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
I mean, he has one of those every year.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
It's just they just don't He's an athlete. They don't
throw the ball.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
And he's got a good matchup too, But I will
say that's you know, the Titans have little. Levis has
been decent. I mean, the Jaguars are a great matchup
for quarterbacks. He has been rushing upside. He's been pretty
good for most of the year. And he thought does
some stupid Winston stuff yeah, pick sixes. Yeah, but he's
(41:18):
been I mean I had him as a top fifteen
sixteen quarterback this week. I'd still start Caleb over him.
I'd start Gino Smith over him. But Stafford is a
matchup against the Bills that's really difficult building.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
He's got a bad ankle.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
So he's got a bad ankle.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
But you know, the thing with Levis is this, He's
usually playing from behind and I thought you if you
look up his stuff. A lot of his stats are
garbage time. Yeah, he might not get that this week.
It might be a it might be a Pollard game
where they're winning by thirteen points in the third quarter
and then and they're like, Okay, Levis, don't throw the
(41:54):
ball anymore.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
Right, I do? Right? Yeah, you're starting. Yeah, And then
on the other side starting Ingrimshell and Brian Thomas, and
that's it. I don't want to start either the running backs.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
To be I don't have them, and I don't have
to make that decision.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Bigsby because I think that Et stinks and I can't
even start Liket like when they're there.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Bigsby's fine, but right, they don't trust enough to give
him the load. Otherwise he'd be fine, right exactly.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
So all right, Seahawks at Cardinals. This should be another
good one at the Cardinals. So whether w won't be
a factor, Arizona just a three point favorite at home.
It's another game that I would I would like to
stack and start all the pieces to both sides. You're
starting all your main your main guys JS. That has
been awesome, Metcalf's been awesome. Walker. You're starting all all
(42:42):
those guys. The one guy that's that's been really disappointed
to me is with Marvin Harrison Junior. I mean just
you know, he's scored a lot of touchdowns, right, but
they just don't never And that's a guy I've been
locked into right just watching I have a lot of
him in like the mid second round kindle do just
doesn't even look.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
I was gonna say, it's not Marv, that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
He doesn't even look at him. No, it's I don't
know if.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
They don't design plays for him, or if Kyler just
looks and then looks to McBride in the middle.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
That's what it is. That's what it is, dude.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
He takes the easy pass. When he was younger, he
didn't do that when he had d Hop on his team.
He'd throw it on the field for him. So I
kind of envisioned what you did, where Okay, I'll take
a little Marv early round because they're just gonna throw
it up and he'll win.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
And they haven't done that, And I thought that, like
Marv isn't this type of receiver, But like I thought
that Kyler would buy a bunch of time and like
scramble drill type of deal. That's not Marv's like game.
But I'm like, well, if he's the number one there,
he'll get Kyler's not doing that. He's not running around trying.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
To He runs around and then he runs for four
yards and slides now and it's like, what do you do?
What do you do? I was watching them in the
vikings this week and I wanted to throw something at
the TV because literally Arizona had the ball the whole
game and it was Kyler Murray running around either throwing
a dump off to McBride or running for four yards. Yeah,
(44:07):
the whole game. And there were so many penalties because
when when you got a guard guy for eight, nine,
twelve seconds, you're gonna hold, You're gonna do this. So
they kept getting first downs and then no touchdowns. It
was frustrating. That sucks.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
That sucks. But but yeah, and no, when he throws
it at a McBride in the red zone or not McBride,
Harrison in the red zone, it's a touchdown. I know
comes down with it.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Like he's got what six seven eight touchdowns this year,
but something like that. Not a lot of catches, not
a lot of targets.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Monday one game was it Week two, he had like
thirty thirty Fantasy points in the first quarter, didn't have
another catch the rest of the game, No targets.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
What the Yeah? Yeah, oh so gross.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Anyway where we live, he's fying you're starting him. But
I'm not as excited about him as I was. No.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
I mean he could he could have a forty five
point game, correct or he could get your four point five.
I mean hopefully it's a fantasy pyler.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
Yeah, I hope it's a fantasy playoffs. So yeah, start
all your studs on both sides. Yeah, and I'd love
to see Trey Benson get a shot, dude, I mean,
James con none of these guys, Kyra Williams, James Conner,
nobody wants to miss it down ever at all the
whole season.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
And what's with the extensions they're giving these running back
I'm so glad I don't play Dynasty because I have
a lot of Trey Benson. And they'd be like, wait,
you did what with James Connor?
Speaker 2 (45:27):
When what is this government money that if they don't
use it, they lose it? Like what's going on?
Speaker 1 (45:33):
Let's just give contracts to whoever because we're on the
road because we got to spend this money, so give
it to James Connor.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
I love James Connor, don't get me wrong, but what
are you doing?
Speaker 2 (45:45):
I know? And I just spent bad luck has doing
all the I have so much Blake Corman, so much
trede bets, just like all running decks. Can you get hurt?
Especially the older ones or the injury promo. Kyri Rims
hasn't been healthy a day in his life, and he
hasn't missed a snap this year. I know.
Speaker 1 (46:02):
I have so much Blake Korum it's ridiculous. And and
I'm like, oh, it's gonna happen. It's not happening this year.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
I think I'm not rooting for a guy to get hurt,
but everybody with her, everybody's hurt. Suck for these guys.
Oh my god. But anyway, listen, maybe maybe come the
three week race, I wouldn't be mad at it.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
I wouldn't be sad.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
I wouldn't be made.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Kien Williams wins the lottery and and doesn't play football anymore.
He doesn't get.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
That right, that's right? And Kyried was my guy last year,
I mean I was. Kyrid was my Blake Korum, like
I had him everywhere like waiting and that, and that
worked out well. This year not so much. All Right,
Bills at Rams, my guy, Josh Allen me, come on,
I'm VP of the league. He's going to lose the
MVP to a freaking running back. You watched you and
I'm gonna be so freaking pissed.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
I mean, this one would be more legitimate than when
Mahomes beat him.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
Out or lamar Ar last year with touchdown.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
This is really I mean, he's gonna break all the records.
I know, so I get it, but but yeah, Josh Ellen,
since like week four.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Stud unbelievable. It has been so good. Bills are on
the road in LA minus four. I like, so you're
starting like listen to Bills. People are like, hey, shootout, shootout.
Listen the Bills. When they're playing with a lead, their
defense is nasty, their secondary is awesome. People don't have
big games on the bill.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
I've picked up so many Bills defensive shares. Yeah, weeks
ago because I saw their schedule and I'm like weather, oh,
New England and the Jets at home the last two
weeks of the year. Bring it on. Yeah, yeah, that
defense when they get ahead and they got Milano back, Now.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
Oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
It's gonna be a tough defense.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
I mean yeah, And so you're starting to cool and
Cop and Kyrie. Kyrie would be the guy to be
most excited about because Bills run defense isn't isn't great.
They're built, they're built to stop the pass. Yes, and
there is a chance of a shootout, but I still
would be excited to start them. I would try to
get off Stafford if I could. I know there's a
lot of guys on by.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
Yeah, but I would.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
I would go Winston. Even in a tougher matchup, I
would go kill Williams Gino. Uh, you know, in that range,
I would definitely go with those guys, maybe even Cousins,
cause Stafford's gimpy and he already could.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
It could get ugly real quick if if the Bills
jump out to a lead, it could get ugly. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
I love Josh Allen this week. Obviously, love James Cook
this week. Coming off that big game in the snow
against the Niners. They're going to try to run him,
especially if they have a lead. Then the receiver I
like is the you know, I'm a Rock. I'm on Roight,
I would start over. I'm ARII Cooper for sure, I'm Khalil.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
I was confused there. I'm glad they're the same on
your team.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
Just I love poor Man's on on Rock.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
He's awesome.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
I love he's good. He's good. So if you have
to decide, I'm going this could be the Cooper breakout game.
Though he was hurt, he was new, and then he
was hurt, and then it was a snow game. Like
it's always something, But this could be the week where
Cooper does go off. But I really like Shakir. I
don't asked me about Kincaid. I have no idea if
he's going to be back this week.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah, and Kean Coleman is coming back this week, so
that might hurt Cooper more than here. Correct, you're gonna
spread out those those deeper targets.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
But yeah, I'm I'm am excited about this game in
good in good weather. Yeah, Bill's finally getting healthy. I
think it'll be good. Hope for a shootout for fantasy sake.
Bears at Niners kind of a gross game here. I
kind of like the Bears defense in this one. You know,
I kept belive him saying that, but I think they
(49:51):
could get after purdy shoulder injury. He's probably still frostbit
on Sunday, What do you think about what about this game?
Speaker 1 (49:59):
Well, well, I'm a Bears fan, you know, so Caleb
is Caleb and he's going to be fantastic. I think
Keenan Allen will have a nice game. DJ Moore will
have a nice game. I even think Swift will have
a nice game party. I'm interested to see. Yeah, is
(50:21):
he really hurt? You couldn't tell in that Buffalo game, right,
you couldn't. I don't think he's one hundred percent. They
have no running backs? Ye Is Debo gonna play thirty
percent of the running back snaps this week? I hope?
Speaker 2 (50:33):
So?
Speaker 1 (50:33):
Yeah, And then you got Juwan, Jennings and Kittle. I mean,
I think this game will be an okay game and
you'll get okay stats out of all your guys. I
don't think anybody's shining very bright right.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
I don't know who from the Niners is back on
their defense. I know Bosa was out last week and
a couple other guys, but Chicago doesn't have the best
run defense for like RB two for sure. Yeah, you
know he could probably fall into a touchdown. Also, Yes,
But you know what's crazy is you know this was
supposed to be Roman Dunesday season, right, was supposed to
(51:09):
be Keenan of the Year. Yeah, and then a Dune's Day.
As the season goes on and it's not Keenan. Allen's
hairlines receding his things going on. He's out there catching.
You're getting twelve thirteen targets a game. Yeah, yeah, but
I've got so much of Dunesay, I'm waiting, like, come on,
it's supposed to be.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
I drafted so much Bears offense this year it makes
me sick.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (51:34):
The the projections I had for Caleb and the rest
of the offense were gross. Yeah, I was drinking the
kool aid and I was one hundred percent wrong.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
Well, they got rid of the they got rid of
some offensive coaches.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
Well they got rid of every coach everybody. They should
have next get rid of the owners and will be better.
But but yeah, I mean, Allan still has it. You know,
he'll probably go somewhere else next year and still be
good at football. Yeah, DJ Moore when they use him
the right way is great. Yes, and a Duneesay has
(52:09):
more unrealized air yards than anyone this year. I believe.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
Okay, that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (52:15):
He's he's been the deep guy and they keep missing him.
Caleb was great at the deep ball in college, and
he's been terrible in the pros at it. Yeah, so
he's gonna Dunes. They will have a like five for
two point fifty with three touchdown game before the end
of the year. Oh maybe week eighteen when no one's
(52:36):
playing fantasy. He will do it over two hundred yards
two or three touchdowns. I guarantee it.
Speaker 2 (52:42):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
I love that. And he'll be a second round pick
next year.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Everyone takes I love it, all right, so we like that.
The Bears, the Niners. Yeah, you're starting your debos and
your kittles and your yeah respects. JU want Jennings. Are
you still rolling with him?
Speaker 1 (52:58):
What's what's been better than de bo? I mean yeah, yeah,
it's been terrible.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
And the rookie there, Pierce All what happened to Amy
came back and had had a touchdown or something his
first game there, had a decent game, and then he
doesn't get targeted. Don't even know he was even active
on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
I don't he was playing. He was playing, didn't.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
They just don't.
Speaker 1 (53:17):
Well, I don't think Party can throw the ball more
than streen yards right now. I think that's the biggest problem.
You know, I don't know. I don't know what's going
on with that team. I think they've given up.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
Yeah, yeah, I mean they're just not used to this, right,
They're not just being in the hunt every year.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Yeah, a lot of the guys that and Trent Williams
not playing is the key on offense. Yeah, he's out
the last two games. They've been terrible.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
Bears are killed on the run. Niners throw, hope, Niners
throw all day. I think they're gonna run all.
Speaker 1 (53:49):
Day on they should mean for sure.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
All right, moving on here, we've got I think it's
the Sunday Night and Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs, who
I hate so much, And of course mccauckey led. Mccauckey's
out and probably going to be out. He's doubtful for this,
for for this game, and it's like, of course he is.
The Chiefs catch another break, like they need any more
(54:13):
of those.
Speaker 1 (54:14):
They get every break.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
Okay, the City minus four, But yeah, I don't like
any I wouldn't even start any Chargers running back in
this I don't care.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
I wouldn't start any running.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
Back yeah or that. Well, but yeah, the charge are
really good.
Speaker 1 (54:33):
Well, if you're playing me, public services playing me, start
any of the running backs on either one of these
teams that I'm okay.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
I think you can get to Pachecko. I think you
can get to Pachecko as an RB lower end RB two.
Speaker 1 (54:49):
But injury he had, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
I know, we'll see, but that's not sure.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
That's when he'll be ready. They're they're each going to
get their six to eight touches and then samaj will
come in for three or four catches.
Speaker 2 (55:05):
And yeah, I don't know. Yeah, no, you could definitely
be right because you know they're gonna have their first
round by because no one can freaking beat them except
for the Bills, So right, plenty of time, plenty of time.
Speaker 1 (55:15):
And then the Chargers are gonna play defense like never
before because they have no receivers, they have no running backs,
so it's like okay, hardball ball, Yeah, can run the
ball fifty five times, control the clock, and and I
think it's gonna get ugly.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Yeah, I mean there you're right there are going to
run the ball a lot, but like the running decks suck.
Come out. Evendal would be the guy, like maybe they
give him a little bit more, Yeah, catches some passes
because he's not going to run for like their their
run defense is amazing, yes, and so they know, especially
when they know they're gonna run. But if I had
to start a running back from the Charger, it would
be come out of Vidal. Yeah, we're hoping for some catches.
(55:53):
I guess if we start edwards, you're hoping for a
falling touchdown. But yeah, this doesn't happen. Man, this is
this is a game that like you would like hopefully
hope for a shootout, and you're not getting a shootout.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
Don't think so. Yeah. I mean if McConkey plays, the
Chargers have an advantage there, but otherwise it's yuck.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
Yeah. Yeah, So I don't like Herbert in this game,
although he's probably with it with that rushing upside, A
lower a higher end uh QB two mahomes I think
will be okay. His his passive weapons are healthy, yees
are getting healthier, you know, Hollywood Brown, speaking of waivers,
if you got a dead roster spot and you're really
(56:34):
weak at receiver, you might because I think he's gonna
be back mid December. Maybe you get week seventeen out
of him. And again the type of stuff that we
play a pat this tournament stuff right, like who's gonna
have Hollywood Brown? Right? Nobody?
Speaker 1 (56:46):
Yeah? So I mean I had him all over the
place and then.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
Yeah, yeah, so like in a tournament, if you start
Hollywood Brown week seventeen and no one else has him
or whatever and off or even twenty, like, let's put
you a huge advantage. So it's hard to find a
dead roster spot through with this time of year, and
your kid is carrying three quarterbacks.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Maybe try.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Yeah it's hard, but I think he could be a
sneaky little little little spot there. Yeah, but yeah, you're
starting Kelsey.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
I mean Worthy Worthy if if if you're you know,
if you've got Christian Watson or Worthy or something like that,
they're the same player. It's like, well, correct, he gets
a touchdown, you know you might start him.
Speaker 2 (57:30):
Yeah, yeah, you're starting Worthy in Hopkins as like as
like why for threes, Like they're definitely in the mix.
Like you can consider in a dune day over them.
You can consider like a Jordan Edison in that ragningage,
like Darnol Mooney, I would maybe start over them too.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
So right, yeah, but these are two good defenses that
right have good coordinators. They're not going to give up
easy stuff probably, so right, the Addison against Atlanta sounds
better to me than Worthy against right right Chargers, but
who knows.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
All right, and then Monday night we've got Bengals at Cowboys.
Were supposed to be a great game on the schedule,
but not gonna happen on that But I think this
is a big game for fantasy as far as like,
I think the Bengals are just gonna go ham in
this in Dallas on prime time against this defense. I
think Burrow is just gonna go crazy. What do you think?
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Yeah, I mean, it's hard not to like Chase Brown
and t Hickens and Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow. I mean,
and and and even on the Dallas side, Cooper Rush
will probably have a game because Bengals Safts defense is terrible. Yes,
they're gonna be behind Ceedee Lamb will play in this game, Willie.
Speaker 2 (58:48):
You know why did he Thanksgiving? He's just chilling the
whole second half.
Speaker 1 (58:53):
He's gonna play in this game because it's a Monday night.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
Game and it's Chase.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
You know, he's gonna go on the I R after.
That's my prediction with Chase with He's like, yeah, everybody's watching,
I'm gonna play in this game, and then we suck.
I'm just gonna get an injury.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
And so you're saying trade CD Lamb for Roma doing that.
Speaker 1 (59:14):
That that's it right there?
Speaker 2 (59:16):
All right, you heard you heard it here first folks.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
No, but I mean Rico Dowdell will do what Rico
Dowdell does. Jake Ferguson's supposed to play, so he is
be a good play.
Speaker 2 (59:30):
Yeah, and they've been using listen Schoolmacker isn't like some
crazy good tight end. He's been okay, he's been five.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
Well, Dallas's offense uses the tight end. So Leper's there
is going to produce something.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
I think Ferguson. Yeah, So to your point about Ferguson,
I think he's certainly worth worth starting. So I think
they're reliant. We're going to rely on Rico because they
don't want the freaking Bengals offense on the field. Because
I think the Bengals offense is just gonna go nuts. Yeah,
I mean both. I think Chase and Higgins are both
top eight receivers, nine receivers this this this week, and
this is one if you got these guys fantasy playoffs. Man,
(01:00:05):
this is what you were waiting for. Explosion spot for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Give me Chase Brown to clinch a bunch of division
winning money spots for me.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
There you go, there you go. Yeah, I know, Chase
Brown's been great, been great for sure. How's the matchup
for Giseki? It's probably not great now. That was actually
really good against against the tight end, and there's so
many other good offensive weapons there that they don't even
need to use them. Maybe you get a red zone touchdown.
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
But maybe. But Burrow is going to be looking for
Higgins and Yeats, I think because it's like, okay, we
get the downfield plays now with both of them.
Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Right, the lights are on?
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Sure, for sure, hard man. I think that wraps up
our Week fourteen chat about the teams. Let's look at
so listen, you're the defending champ. Everyone's coming for you.
You're in Vegas, you know, showing off that beautiful belt
and all that good stuff. So jealous. But you have
a team this year that you really like, and I've
kind I've seen it there on the rankings too. But
(01:01:02):
but even you know, so do you remember, I'm sure
sure you do. Your the team that won it all
last year? Where was that team ranked going into their
three week race? Do you know or around about it?
Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
I think it was like in the mid thirties, mid thirties,
so yees.
Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
So I had a team just like that last year also,
And I also had a team that was top ten
all year, just kind of like the one you're gonna
you're you're gonna show us here and and that team
is in a tough and Aliar fell out and just disappeared.
And the NATY for the mid thirties came up and
was number one until you crushed me on the final
the final day. But but this is fun to look
(01:01:37):
at this, this type stuff, because these are the teams
you've been kind of following all all year. To walk
us through this team here, maybe go over kind of
some of the high points, and have you lost anybody
due to injury from from this team?
Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
Don't say that, Oh no, this is like the only
team I haven't lost anybody from I think that's right,
that's right. Yeah, I mean I went I went wide
receiver to start. I think the first four picks were
wide receiver, Chase Neighbors, more and pickings. And then I
got Gifted Mixing and Montgomery back to back in the
(01:02:11):
middle of the sixth or the fifth and sixth round,
and then I went Jalen Warren uh and Lamar was
just sitting there, and I'm not a guy who takes
quarterbacks or tight ends early. And I'm like, all right,
I got three backs, i got four wide receivers. I'm
real happy with this team. Lamar is there. I'm taking
(01:02:32):
Lamar and that turned out really well for sure. I
mean I I what do your tight ends look like?
Goddard got and and Goddard might be out for the
year now I have heard today, which is troubling to me.
(01:02:52):
And then I picked up Hurts. I got Hurts and
I got Hockinson. You know, I'm okay with that. It's
probably ten points either way, you know, with a chance
at fifteen to twenty from either one of them. I
picked up Tracy like the twelfth or thirteenth round. Yeah,
(01:03:14):
he's my fourth, you know, third, fourth running back, and
I got Brooks from Carolina. If he you know, if
he gets hot, I'm going to have a problem of
who to play, which was always a much better problem
to have.
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
Yeah, now, did you draft Heilman or did you pick
him up?
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
No? I picked him up. Yeah, like most of us,
I spend a lot of money on Tilman in a
lot of leagues. I think I got him in like
thirteen of my twenty three leagues, and I mean I
went to three four hundred dollars on him because I'm like, he's.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
The guy, yep, And he is the guy. He's just
he's been hurt, you know, hurt recently, and get healthy
and they'll yeah, they start drowing. He gets uh yeah,
he gets Cincinnati and Miami the last two weeks, Kansas
City since Miami, so he can get healthy for that stretch.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
That's a nice stretch.
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
Yeah, Cincinnati, Miami for sure. So and what does this
team right over all? Right now? Second overall?
Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
Yeah, second overall they've been They've been top five for
about the last eight weeks. It's been fun to watch because, yeah,
I'll have a bad week and I'm like, oh, I'm
probably like fifteenth or something, and then I look and
they're third, and I'm like, oh, other people had bad
weeks with good runners too.
Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
That's the same, right, right, And you know how that
works once you get this deep, it's like it's all
the kind of the same players you know at the top,
and then you know that works. Once it turns over
to the three week race, it'll be the same thing.
The top players will be the top players, and then
it starts over.
Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
This team could finish in last of the playoffs, who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
But who knows.
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
They already won the dominators, So I don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
Good for you. Yeah, no, that's the one thing I
didn't get. So I mean six f fwc's I'm going
to make the playoffs, the the main playoffs, the race
for the one hundred and fifty k I'm gonna make
it in four of them. Nice, and uh well I'm
in more than six, but with with like my solo
by myself that I didn't go and I didn't get
(01:05:10):
any I got no dominators, And I don't even think
I think I'm only eligible for the league playoffs in
one of them, because I think that the top two
teams make the league playoffs.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Right, And then points and record, appointment.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Record, and then the four make the race for a
hundred fty k. Right, I don't even have a shot
at any league league money, so I really need one
of these freaking fourteenes to go smash. But you know
how that works. It's one hundred kf top. By the
time you get the tent, it's like a thousand bucks
or something.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Yes, So last year when when I wasn't going to
play and Scott talked me into it, it was because
the year before I had I think I had ten
of the twelve teams make the playoffs, but I wasn't
in the money in any of them, and it was
just frustrating, you know. And then and then in the
playoffs they didn't do well enough to do it either.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
Then you're like, so then that Scott did his best
salesman routine.
Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
That's right, thank you. I know, I know, but it's sick.
It's like, you know, each website has thrower. I'd like
I like a lot of the stuff that fw C
dons with and running them concurrently so that you don't
have any bye weeks in the playoffs, Like I really
like that, Yes, and maybe we could get like just
a couple more teams in the league playoffs because it's
like man, and then because because not only do you'll
(01:06:23):
only have two that make it, but then that dominator,
like if that dominator hits for some other team, you know,
it's so it's dominated last year, which was nice.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Yeah, when you win them, they're great. When you don't,
it's like, oh, man, I had a pretty good team
and a really good team out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
I know. So all right, due, well, listen, yo, thanks
for so much for joining me. Good luck these next
couple couple of weeks, and uh yeah, good luck grinding
this out. Like you said, waivers are finally done. We
got two more days of waivers left, you know, and
then Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
I'm spending all my money tonight. Then I don't have
to worry about it for Sunday, and I do a
shout out to my little cousins.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
All do it all?
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
All right? Taylor, Joey and Will. What's up?
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
That's right? Let go forget Jason? Right you your partner
in crime? Did you get married? He just got married.
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
He's in Mexico on his honeymoon, living the dream. If
you're watching Aaron Jason Love.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
You be watching what do you mean, on your honey Mexico. Listen.
I love everyone at the show, but don't don't be
watching it now, A right watching exactly, all right, Pat,
thanks so much for joining me and we will see
everybody that next week.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Thank you, all right,
