to tell you how young Bobby becameowner and little boss of the b Barb
Ranch. You see, it wasthis way. Old Bart Benson was a
gold prospector, and one night,just as he was about to make camp,
he heard the crying of a babycoming from a clump of bushes.
He took the baby and headed theCactus City, where he hoped his friend

Windy Wales would help him find theboy's parents. But despite all efforts,
no trace has ever been found tothis day of the baby's father and mother.
So then, although Old Bart neverlegally adopted the baby, he named
him Bobby Benson and treated him likehis own son. Old Bart put a

large ranch in southern Texas and tookWendy Whales along with him to help with
the bringing up of the child,and he engaged Tex Mason as foreman of
the ranch and guardian of the boyuntil Bobby should come of age. Text
took on Harker, a full bloodedIndian, who taught Bobby all red Indian
craft and knowledge of nature. Irish, another hired hand, loved the boy

just as much as the others.All that when Old Bart died and left
the ranch to Bobby, he hadfour staunch friends to look after him,
Tex Mason, Windy Whales, Harker, the Red Indian, and Iron Though
Now at last, story of BobbyBenson, the Little Boss of the bee
Barby Ranch. The Ghost Rustlers oldmines are numerous in the mountains of the

Big Ben Country of Texas. Todaymost of the mines have been abandoned,
but in one tunnel of the oldSilver Ghost mine, something is going on.
While three rough looking men flatten themselvesagainst the tunnel wall, a fourth
man leans over a box that hasa long plunger in it. It looks
not unlike a tire pump. Thefourth man yells, wire in the hole.

Fire the wire in the hole,fire hole, wire in the hole.
Well, I know to do it. Boys, take it easy,
rocks while him to take the pad. I could have missed fire and give

you right on back to the ranchand bring back enough foods for a couple

in the shadow of Ghost Mountain's steepside, and Bobby Benson takes Mason and
the cowboys have been trying to catchthe cattle thieves in the act. The
rustlers, however, seem to beoperating out of a carefully camouflage tunnel,
and now they have not only stolenmore cattle, but they have caught texts
blinded by the beam of a flashlightin the hands of one of the rustlers.
Text jumps from his horse and leapstowards the cattle fields. Alright,

golly, I got you now,of cowboy, I got you. Wi
sackles in the case. I'm draggingthe cowboy inside and just knocked in a

We get in when they're not rooping. But hell, you stay here
with irish and horses. Mis gota head. Find out what's going on
