You you know, if you're a professional wrestling fan like
I am, you know all of us, you know, blue
collar workers out there and just get it. And I'm
not trying to you know, no, no diconomist nature here.
You know, white collar, blue color doesn't matter. Wrestling fans
are family, absolutely, you know, you know, it's you know,
we are one some sports fandom. And yes, wrestling is

(02:02):
a sports people just kid you know, well yeah it is,
it is, it is, but you know, not passing judgments
or anything like that professional wrestling has been part of
my life for like ever, and you know, once when
you see a professional wrestling fan walking down the street
or somebody wearing a wrestling shirt.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
You know, I often kind of talk about this on
the podcast. Is that when it was one time.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I'll keep it brief, but I have a story. One
time I went to Disneyland obviously with me and family
and the kids and stuff like that, and you know,
there was this line it was about an hour and
a half away, and I was like, damn, like, how
am I gonna survive this? You know, my kids they
have their little you know, they have their little you
know tablets where they play like ABC Mouse or like
Tokobook or something like that.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
So like and then I'm talking to my wife, and
my wife's talking to her mother, my mother in law,
and then they're talking and I'm just kind of They're
like looking around, like and I'm not a guy. I'm
not a huge guy that scrolls on like Instagram, TikTok,
Facebook or you know Twitter or anything like that. I'm
not that type of guy. Like I get bored super easily,
you know. So then I see this guy with like
a seth freaking rolling shirt and then you know he's

(03:08):
like right here, like arms length away, and I was like,
hey man, you know, how's going. And then immediate automatically,
like immediately there was a chemistry established and we were
just talking both we were talking you know, wrestling stuff
for you know, we were just you know, kicking the stuff,
you know, shooting the crap and you know, we were
talking professional wrestling for about an hour and it was
you know, it was actually too short of a.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Time, no, but it was actually super cool.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
You know, once again kind of explaining why wrestling fans
are you know, we're we're absolutely one thy ten percent unique. Well,
thank you guys so much for tuning in to the
GSMC Wrestling Laureate Podcast.

(04:02):

Speaker 2 (04:04):
This one's going to be absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
And it's streaming on Prime Video for the first time ever,
so you know, I don't know if there's going to
be a deal or.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Anything like that.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Like once, when I saw the commercial, not the commercial,
but I saw the promo that they're gonna be streaming
on Prime Video. I had my subscription and I was like, yeah,
like that's cool. I don't have to like pay an
extra fifty bucks. But yeah, you're gonna have to.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
You're gonna have to. But it's worth it, you know,
at the end of the day, it's worth it.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
It's going toward a good cause. I love professional wrestling.
I want to personally see Mercedes Money lose her TVs
championship and just kid it go. But but yeah, no,
it should be a it should be a good And
we're gonna talk about aw revolution on our second segment.
Third segment, we're gonna talk about the WWE women's mid
card titles might be in trouble. We're gonna talk about that.

(04:54):
We're gonna talk about Becky Lynch's WrestleMania return. We're also
gonna get I'm gonna give you guys my top ten
greatest female wrestlers of all time. Recently, I looked at
a I came across. I came across a Sports Illustrated
top five top I think it was top five or
top ten, top ten women of all time.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
For the most part, the women that were involved in it,
it was you know, it was it was good.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
It was good, but just the I feel like the
way they had them I disagreed upon.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
So I'm gonna go through my top ten. Obviously, in
terms of talking list like.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Sports Illustrated, you know, it's you know, there comes a little.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Bit of a bias.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
There comes a little bit of a you know, oh,
you know, maybe it's the person wrote it.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Grew up during the Diva.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
They grew up during the during the attitudear and you
always kind of had that special bond, that special connection
with you know, with the WWE Women's Wrestling.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
You're like, man, if she wasn't there, the whole company
would have went under.

(07:32):
like and subscribe. All right, without further ado, we're gonna
talk about a E wae W Dynamite live in you know, Sacramento, California.
Obviously there are you know, around the Sacramento, California, and
then you know the Los Angeles area, well not the
Los Angeles area, because Sacramento and Los Angeles, I believe

(07:53):
shoot like eight eight ten hours away, I believe, you know,
you just kind of shoot down the five.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Is it the five or is the one on one?
I think it's the five.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I think it's the five, or you go down the
ninety eight heading toward fres Now I'm not too sure,
but you know, all in all, they're on their way
over to Los Angeles right now.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
They are on their way to my backyard.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
There's actually a show an ocean side that you know
that's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
That I wanted to go to so bad that I
want to, but unfortunately you have to work on Wednesdays,
and it's just oh God, of course, of course.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I can't watch Dynamite, but I can't watch Dynamite Life,
but I can always watch it, you know, you know,
on TV, so which is all cool.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
It's something I've kind of figured out about myself. I'm like,
you know what, once.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
When you're kind of young, you know, you're into like
going to concerts and you know, sports events and stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
For me, watching it on TV in the comfort of.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
My own chair, you know, with a nice ice cold,
you know, root beer. You know, it's always fun, it's
always great, it's always you know kind of you know,
and then you have the kids right there, you have wife,
and you know you're just kind of in your own
don't don't doing.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Maybe I'm just getting old. Maybe I'm just getting old
and cranky at thirty two years old. Who knows.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
So m j Off starts off the night basically talking
about how he disagrees about people's notion how a Hangman
had in Paige, Uh, you know, he didn't do anything wrong.
And then that, you know, m JF. He speaks facts,
he speaks facts. You know, you had that match between
Christopher Daniels and Hangman, and you know Hangman learned burning
swerve Strickland's house and then you know, beating up legends backstage,

(09:26):
you know, causing a ruckus all over the place, like
he literally kind of threw like a kind of throw
a tantrum.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
So m JF he kind of, you know, it's kind
of right.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
It is kind of right the way he uh, you know,
the way he ultimately kind of phrased it. And then
then of course you know you had you know, he
was he was basically talking about he was he was
outside and then uh, you know, was in Sacramento and
he had a bullet with his name on it.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Which is you know which is which is cool? You know,
I like it, but you know it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
MJ. You have screens a Hangman at the page over
and over. So yeah, he basically wants to go. He
wants to get crazy with Hangman. It's gonna be a
great It's gonna be a great feud. It's gonna be
an absolutely great few one thousand and ten percent. I for
one can't wait to see these two guys go at it.
The top products of aw ever since they started back
in twenty nineteen. So you know, you're basically gonna get

(10:20):
the foundation. You're gonna get a lot of what eat,
sleep and breeze aw with this, uh, with this feud.
And I hope it lasts till aw all in. You know,
but that is a huge ass that is like what
like bream No not three months like four four months
away July. So but it could if these if anybody

(10:40):
could do these guys can definitely do it. I would
love to see like a you know, like a cage
match between these guys at the end of the day
because quite frankly, I don't really see these guys going
after the AW World Heavyweight Championship, which would probably be
a next step for both of them. But you know, yeah,
I don't really don't really see that happened Tony Shiovanni
in the stage. Obviously you had this, you know, you

(11:02):
had this confrontation just I think it was it was
a contract signing between Stor Strickland and Ricochet basically fighting
for Prince Nana and that robe. But you know something
that I definitely that bothered me. Being honest, I wasn't
a huge fan of the way Ricochet looked. You know,
I get the you know, the the snooty, the cocky,
the arrogant, the brady backwards hat Philadelphia Eagles hat by

(11:24):
the way, but I don't know just the way Ricochet was.
And then the freaking swerve once again he called he
you know, grabs the pen and he's like.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Oh my god, will you just show up? You're so annoying.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Like for me, I felt that was kind of like, uh,
you know, I kind of outed Ricochet there, and uh,
you know, it was it was exactly what it was
supposed to be, you know, a contract signing that was
supposed to blow up.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Ricochet, you know, pulls out.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
The golden scissors, swears Strickland, grabs it, grabs his own
pair of shears and sticks it in the forehead of Ricochet.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
So, you know, all in all, like I said, it
was a exactly what it was, what it was meant
to be.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
You know, we're going to get We're gonna get this match,
and it's gonna be absolutely uh, it's gonna be a
good one. It's gonna be going and the winner of
this match is a number one contender for the AW
World Heavyweight Championships.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
So so yeah, it's destined to be a good one.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Next we have Will Ospray teamed up with Orange Cassidy,
Powerhouse Hobbs, and Mark Risco taking on Lance Archer, Brian Cage,
Mark Davis and the Bad Apple Brian Keith. I definitely
liked how you know, there was some f don Kallis
chance all around Sacramento. I thought that was pretty cool.
The match was great, all all, the match was super great.
I loved the fact that I love the fact how

(12:39):
although Osprey you know and his team did pick up
the victory.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
I loved how the Don Kallis family. Get to the
last laugh.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
You kind of had Mark Davis have a little bit
of a you know, controversy conflict the character how you know,
the world powers or whatever like that when he was
in when he was in the stable with Will Osprey,
you know, he was refusing to hit him with that chair.
But you know, I gotta be honest, I do love
Orange Cassidy's like whole persona like that elbow drop, how

(13:07):
he dropped it on her and he was like that
that was that was pretty cool. That was pretty cool.
Definitely hope to see him in the AEW International Championship
or the Continental Championship conversation, uh, within the next.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Couple of months, so you know it should be should
be pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
You know, I definitely love how, like I said, Mark
Davis seeming like he's going to you know, he might
get a second win, he might redeem himself. But right
now Don Kallas is doing exactly what he needs to do.
Lance Archer Is, you know, Brian Cage, they they're the
bad They're the bad guys, you know, defending his AEW

(13:42):
International Championship at Revolution against Kenny Omega. So you know
you had to build up as much, you know, as
much momentum as you possibly could.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
But it was a great match. You know.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I love how aw explores with these eight man tag matches.
Even though Ring of Honor you have the eight man
sometimes you have a ten man tag team at I
think last week they had a twelve man tag team match,
which was a you know, a pretty badass but Kyle Fletcher,
like I said, getting the last laugh from the Don
Kallis family as well with the steel cage match coming
up against will Ospray the Area Assassin at Revolution in

(14:15):
Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
So I can't wait to see that go on.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
All right, next, we have a we have a you know,
Cope taking on Wheeler Uda.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
I thought this was a you know, it was a
good match. It was a great match.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I for one, you know, I definitely liked after the
match once when Cope hit that you know, hit the
spear and then he you know, he looked Wheeler, you'd
a dead in the eye, and he gave him a
handshake saying that this is what respects looks looks like,
and then you know, gave Wheeler are a lot of things
to think about, you know, something that I highly contemplate
every single time I see the Death Riders. You know,
it's you know, Claudio pac and Shavere already are really

(14:53):
like invested in to what John Moxley basically does, what
he hopes to accomplish with everything that he's doing every
single you know, and day in and day out, rampage,
collision or dynamite. But you know, you know, he seems
a little spect skeptical about it. Seems like he is
always like the whipping boy.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
You know.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
I remember once when I think it was Orange Orange Catsley,
I think it was who came in and saved wheel
you know, know, from from them shoving the chemicals down
his down down his throat. Was that the chemicals or
was it the no No, I think it was.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I think it was.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
And you know, Wheeler, he hasn't gotten a lot of respect,
you know, he kind of he turned his back on
Brian Danielson. That's kind of how he got, you know,
into the group. But ever since then, it's been you know,
it's not hasn't been good for Wheeler, you know, Wheeler Uda.
But then again, John Moxley backstage screams, you know, he's yelling,
he's you know he's boasting, he's basically congratulating out of

(15:52):
Copeland for you know, he got exactly what he wanted
right now, and you have John Moxley all alone.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
It's gonna be mono e mono.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
But you know, there's always that skepticism that maybe him
and Wheeler, you'd know, we're kind of having like a
little uh, you know, kind of having like a little
like acting show or whatever it is. Moxley has how
the aw World Heavyweight Championship for quite some time, so like,
I don't know if a title change is due, but
I feel like Wheeler you will ultimately be the remaining factor.

(16:22):
And I feel like it we'll get to a point
between and I'll get into this with my ae W
revolution picks and predictions. I feel like there's gonna be
a spot where he can either help Cope or he
could help John Moxley. And I feel like ultimately he's
going to help John Moxley, you know, because I don't
really see John Moxley losing the championship as of right now.
This death Writer, you know this, this this death Writer

(16:45):
storyline has been pretty damn good, So I don't know
it should be a should be pretty it should be
should be pretty interesting, should be pretty interesting interesting. Next,
we have a TV segment Renee Packett talking to you
know MJF.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Hang man at a page wants to.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Run him over, and you know that that that you
know basically you know that is that is that? But
then you know, they make it out to the ring,
They make it out to them and they start beating
the holy hell out of each other. You know, aw
security comes out, they take down a hangman, they take
down MGF. MJF comes with the dynamite ring, punches hang
gun on a page square in the middle of the forehead,

(17:20):
knocks him out, and then uh, you know, MJF starts
pouring lighter fluid, saying that you know, he's gonna light
him on fire, like he lit sort of Strickling's house
on fire. And then I love the fact that MJF
was wearing a you know, MJF did nothing wrong with
sh I thought that was pretty funny. Kind of reminded
me of when Kevin Owens were what did he wear?
What was his shirt? Kevin Owens is right, Kevin o'

(17:40):
or something like that. I think, yeah, Kevin was right
or something like that once when he was having this
little that thing with the American Nightmare Cody Rhoades.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
So I thought that was actually kind of funny.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
MJF was you know, he was he was pulled kicking
and screaming out of the arena, and it was just
kind of funny.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
It was kind of funny, you know.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I like how he was basically saying, how he everyone
is a hypocrite and he has a point to prove.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Let me prove my point. Love me.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
It was just so, it was so MJF. It was
absolutely so MJF one and ten percent. So so yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
It was, you know, pretty cool, pretty cool. All right.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Next we have Chris Satlander and thunder Rosa taking on
Meghan Bane and Penelope Ford once again. Real like, I
think this was the only woman's match on there. You know,
I was really I was shocked, but then again I
was kind of relieved. You know. It was a nice
ten minute match between the you know, four top tier
talents within ae W obviously Chris and you know thunder

(18:36):
Rosa kind of like in the middle of it, like
you know, they're at their prime, kind of you know,
dipping down a little bit. But you have Megan Band
and Penelope Ford as well, but there's been some surrounding
Penelope Ford saying that she won't be with the company
at the end of twenty twenty five out of there there,
you know, she's you know, digging for a new contract
or that she wants to go somewhere else where, maybe

(18:56):
women's Remember the women's division is a little bit more
mere and prominent. I feel like it is a lot
once when like you know, maybe on collision, I feel
like it is. But you know, Donavane, it does dudes
due diligence in terms of like you know, Mercedes Monet
promo here and you have Harley A Harley Cameron and
then backstage with Renee Paquette talking to you know, Tony Storm,

(19:18):
you know Mariah May. So you know, the woman's division is,
you know, it's not that it's absolutely terrible one thousand
and ten percent, but uh, it could be better.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Maybe that's the best thing. It could be better. So
then Renee Paquette.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Was backstage with speaking of four Belts, Mo Nay the CEO,
basically saying how she's going to fight Momo Watson Abbie. Well,
she's going to you know, defend her TBS championship. You
know she seems a little you know, obviously newsman professional wrestling,
but I feel like, God, I know she's gonna retain.
I know she's just gonna retain. Mercedes Monette says, serenaded.

(19:52):
You know, is a is a woman of a thousand holds,
but you know she will break momo for her and
you know, and then once again, same o nay changes everything,
and you know, then we had a best wrestler alive,
Max Kraster being confronted by switchbla ae J.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
White getting hit with what was what is it called? Again?

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Switch? What is his finishing move that? No, I can't believe.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
I can't think of it blade Runner. I think it's
Blae Runner. Yeah, blade Runner. Okay, So you know I
got that right, So I thought that, you know, I
love Switchblae J. White, And even when then he went
on and talked about how you know, Adam Copeland's going
to take back the AW World Championship for everybody in
the locker room.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
So you know, that was that was cool. Main eventsime, we.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Have Ricochet and the ae W Continental Champion Coach of
Chicaokatta taking on Sport Strickland and Brody and Brody King
you know at the end, you know, I do I
like this match. This match was, you know, it was decent,
it was super decent. But you know, these two guys,
Okata and Ricochet, you know, it's it's the point where
these guys need every little flow momentum because let's just

(20:58):
face it, like I said, Ricochet, you know the promo,
this contract signing he did earlier, and the way he's
been perceived in AEW just seems like a brady kid
walking around with the backwards hat, you know, And like
I love Ricochet, you know, when he was in w
w E, I was like, man, he deserves so much better.
But now he comes AEW and I had high hopes,
but I don't know if you know the booking, the storylines,

(21:19):
you know that you know it's a little lackluster, but
he deserves something. He deserves to be something, and right
now you kind of have and is it's kind of
ironic that his partner coach with Jacoe Okada in my
opinion or where is kind of stuck in the same
boat ever since you made it to AW he hasn't
really had that same shine that he had when he
was wrestling in Japan. You know, now he has that,

(21:40):
and now he has his a catchphrase. He says the
B word all the time, you like, you know what
I mean, Like, is that really all he's good for?
And then whenever he goes into uh goes into a match.
Something that I've you know, kind of noticed about Okada.
Maybe it's just me that it doesn't really seem like
he is like like he's willing to go the extra
mount to produce a move that my chance in getting hurt.

(22:01):
I guess you can say like it's just standard standard
matches Okada.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
It seems like Ae W.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Brown in Okata to be like, oh, we're gonna have
him just take on because the only guy that's really
really good with Ko Kata, well there's multiple too, obviously will.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Lost Bray and of course Kenny Omega.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
I feel like Kenny Omega, although he is challenging Kenoski
Takeshna for that AEW International Championship at Revolution, maybe de
thrones Okada, But for me, I would like to see Ricochet,
you know, get that Continental championship. You know, he he
he turned heel, which you know, kind of kind of
a shocker. Uh. And he hasn't shown any any interest

(22:41):
or any hints at being part of the Hurt syndicate.
But at this point, I feel like, you know, either
he joins or he doesn't. But I know Cedric Alexander
has recently been released from w w E and I
bet MVP Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley are you know,
pushing hard for a nice little you know, Hurt business
reunion which I want to be against, which I want

(23:03):
to be against. But you kind of have to have
Ricochet somewhere, you kind of do, like I said, if
Ricochet wants to continue being a heel, you know, being
a single hard ass. You know, Swirtz Trickland did bring up,
did bring up his wife Samantha, which was which is
kind of crazy. But you know, maybe she comes and
she becomes a manager for Ricochet and he gets like

(23:23):
he gets better. He's like that, you know, that heel
that has his girlfriend like you know, you know, cheat
for him and not not cheat, not cheat for him,
like not that way, but like she gets involved in
his match, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (23:35):
You know what I mean, I'm just kidding. Moving on,
so you know, Dynamite pretty good.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Obviously this was to go home, you know, this was
to go Home episode before revolution, so.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
You know it did its purpose.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
And now we're gonna talk about some aw revolutions, some picks, previews, previews, preview,
and predictions, however you want to call it. So grab
your favorite snack, grab your favoritehigh school beverage. Joined me
here in about twenty five seconds. So, hey, do not
go anywhere, or.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
I feel like I'm losing my mine. Everybody in the
world die. Please don't give me us side, US side.
I feel like I'm losing my everybody in the world die.

(24:22):
Please start giving us shine shine. I want to be

Speaker 3 (24:31):

Speaker 2 (24:33):
One day, I blowed up on the basement stayment.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
The top is so baking. I don't even ship that
I think is amazing.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Waiting for my table when I'm playing.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Sold own, shoulds are a thousand faces? Hey give me
that crown.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Keating my way in to be put down. It ain't
your placed. All this my town.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
If I want that shit, that'll get it right now.
I'm losing it the noose and fits the losing shit
A stupid myth.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
You choose to live and choose to deep.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
You choose to fight and loser, grip and lose a
gift dog. I feel like I'm losing my everybody oil.
Please Lord give.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Me us side.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
I feel that ons in everybody oiled.

Speaker 1 (25:21):

Speaker 2 (26:46):
That's weird. Bam, Oh there we go. That's why. All
right cool?

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Uh so uh okay, scratch that City of Angels, home
to Los Angeles Lakers, who are absolutely kicking and taking
names ever since Luca Dancic joined Lebron, James H. Dalton
connect Austin Reeves. They're they're, they're they're doing pretty good,
are they? You know, are the NBA Finals bound? Maybe
you know Tony kan was actually you know, posting during Twitter.

(27:14):
You know, he was sitting behind Luca at the Lakers game.
So I thought that was I thought that was actually
pretty cool. So you know, you know he's getting ready
for e W Revolution. All the stars backstage of the
ae W are getting ready for revolution. Revolution has been
like a cornerstone p l E for aew you know,
a little bit since has it been? It exists existent?

(27:39):
Why can't I say that word? That's weird?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Just kidding. I'm moving on.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
So aw Revolution Los Angeles. Let's go ahead, and uh,
it's going to break it down. Let's dig on into it.
Zero hour, zero hour. We have a zero hour tag
team match. I love MXM collection, but this is going
to be just an easy like babyface way here. Uh
you know, A huge fan Orange Cassidy Love, definitely love

(28:06):
one thousand and ten percent Mark Briskol And forgive me,
but I don't know if that picture is just too small.
I don't why does he look like kind of looks
like Kurt Angle with black hair. I'm just kidding, No,
who is that guy? Oh my god, Like I can't,
I gotta. I definitely gotta check that out. Anyways, moving on,
but uh, you know, I definitely think it's gonna be

(28:27):
a nice way to kind of you know, get the
show started. Uh, you know, any show that includes Mark
Brisco is going to be an absolute banger. So you know,
his team's gonna kick some ass, takes and takes some names.
We have an AW Continental Championship match. Brody King, he
won the tournament to you know, a beating armor wor
contender for Kazuo Kata's AW Continental Championship. I for one,

(28:50):
I don't think I do love Brody King. I do,
and I feel like, you know, the way he's been
kind of floating around House of Black, you know, he
was kind of like the enforcer of Malachi Black and
with the you know, Buddy Matthews rumored being injured with
an ankle injury, this could damn near like be his

(29:10):
chance to win a championship and to kind of uh
kind of stand on his own in terms of the singles,
in terms of the singles division in ae W. But
right now, Coskata, nobody really seems to have you know,
well they've been you know, competitors.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Have being close.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
This match is gonna be exactly you know, it's going
to be Brody King basically showcasing that he can possibly
become an ae W champion, whether if it's the International
Channel or maybe even Ring of Honor as well. So
I feel like that's going to be mostly the match.
Okada's gonna win, Brody King's gonna lose, would ultimately win,

(29:47):
if you know what I mean. So I don't know
if Okada's gonna cheat to win. I feel like he will.
I feel like he will.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
You know, he kind of alluded to it, you know,
at Grand Slam Australia with Buddy Matthews. I'm not Buddy Matthews. Yeah,
Buddy Matthews.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Right. Oh my god, I can't believe I'm blanking on
everybody's name right now. What is going on?

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Uh? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:07):
So I feel like Wakata is going to retain this
championship because as of right now, I can't really see
why you would put the belt on Brodie King. Like
I said, I don't know, I don't really see a
championship change happening here. Next we have Schwarz Strickland taking
on Ricochet. Love Ricochet, but I feel like right now
he's too cocky to kind of, you know, to kind

(30:29):
of get his stuff straight, like he's I feel like
the way Ricochet's character is being portrayed in aew today.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
He needs to have a title on him. He needs
to have a title on him.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
The AW World Heavyweight Championship is a little much. Is
a little much. I feel like Swerve is going to
get you know, he's gonna get a shot. He's gonna
get a shot at John Moxley, and you know it's
gonna be great. It's gonna be great. I would prefer
Swerve to win, but Ricochet might find a way to
kind of weasel his way or maybe, uh maybe Prince

(31:01):
Nana screws over Swerve and then bam.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
We see a character paradigm ship. I'm just kidding, no,
but that would be that'd be pretty interesting. But uh,
you know, I, for one, who I'd want to see
win is Swerve.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
I'm like, you know what, Damn, I do love Ricochet though, Ricochet,
he's amazing. Literally inside the ring, he's a walking highlight reel.
Wwe wasted his talent. Now he's in AW some questionable
booking storyline calls.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
But uh, but hey, I'm still.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Heavily invested, you know, I got I'm sixty five percent
Swerve right now, thirty five percent Ricochet winning this match
because it just makes more sense for Swerve to take
on John Boxley heading forward, but you know, hey, anything
can happen, MJ if taking on the Hangman Adam Page.
I want to see this match like flex to, like

(31:52):
a hardcore match.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
But obviously that's just.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
My greediness of being a WWE Attitude era kind of guy.
But then again, the lifeblood of AEW seems like they
are a little bit more or edge here that they're
not afraid to kind of push the mark a little
bit in terms of hardcore wrestling, in terms of like
you know, grungy, you know, grody stuff.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
They're they're willing to do it. They're willing to do it.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
You know, obviously the whole Syringe and Swerve, Strickland's mouth,
the plastic bag around Brian Danielson, you know, Orange Cassidy chugging,
forced to drink chemicals from the Death Riders. But you know,
I want to see this match get crazy. Like I said,
I feel like with the two talents you see right
in front of you, the you know, they're the foundation
of AEW. I just recently said it in the past segment.

(32:33):
They're the foundation of the of AEW. Did I say
ECW aew you know I sent he began in twenty nineteen,
two young rising stars, MJF recently signing a fifteenth well rumored,
lucrative fifteen million other plus per year contract. And you know,
hang mad at a page, always putting on great content,

(32:55):
putting on great matches.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
He can't you know, I feel like defans can't help.
But the cheer him.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
I feel like, although sometimes he looks a little heelish,
I feel like at the end of the day, the.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Fans just want to cheer for Hangman and they want to.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Boo MJF because that's what he's good at, and that's
what hang Man out in Page is good at.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
But I hope this feud.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Strings all the way out to aw All in Texas
to have like.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
One final battle. I know it is like four.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Months, but if anybody, any of these, you know, any guys,
could build up a nice little feud for about four months,
kind of like a Drew mcautar cm punk feud, to
make it just go on, go on, go on, and
have you you know, sitting on the edge of your seat,
absolutely excited. I feel like it'd be these two guys
right here, but revolution who will pick up the Dub,
you know what. Being honest, let's go ahead and let

(33:42):
hang Man win one. Let's let hang Man out of
Page win. I feel like during Revolution, I see all
the champions retaining, you know, and you know, I don't
really see a title change is happening here. So you know,
if all the titles you know, remain the same, No,
I don't think the Hurt Syndicate is No. We'll get
into that once when we see the match. But all
in all, I see hang Man out of page picking

(34:03):
out that dub Hurt Syndicate taking on the Outrunners. I
love the Outrunners, but the Hurt Syndicate will continue their
reign as the aw World Tag Team Champions.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
You know, although out Runner is super impressive and if
there's anybody that can push them to the limit, it's
definitely them. But the Hurt Syndicate right now, you know,
you have Bobby lash Lee a seat and Benjamin. These
guys are top tier stars that are going to get
your promotion, real wrestling promotion, a lot of eyes, a
lot of attention, definitely a lot of engagement in terms
of wrestling fandom. You know, Bobby Lashley, Oh my god,

(34:36):
such an impressive specimen and sewn Benjamin.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
You know, he's a veteran. He's a veteran, but still
still light on his feet, still light on.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
His feet, probably gonna be wrestling for about a decade, if.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Not more so.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
But you know, I don't see any reason why you
would take the belts off of the Hurt Syndicate as
of right now, Briah May taking on Tony Storm. I
feel like this will be the Hollywood ending for Mariah Bay.
You know, she had a nice little championship rain, nothing
against it, but you know, during Tony Storm's rain and

(35:10):
once when her and Mariah May were running rampant together,
they were I feel like the AW women's division was better.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
But that's just me, obviously, that's my opinion. One thousand
and ten percent.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Love both girls, both think they're talented as hell, But
I do like the belt more on Timeless Tony Storm.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
But these girls are gonna be.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Fighting each other more and more and more in the
future of AEW. You know, you know, after this, probably,
you know, maybe Mariah May takes a little bit of
a you know, a vacation or an absence from ae W,
and then you have a couple of people, you know,
and then maybe she comes back you know as a
you know, not as a baby face my. Maybe she

(35:47):
comes back to to help Tony Storm. Maybe she's in
a you know, a feud with like somebody else getner
ours kicked, and then you know, Mariah May, you know, okay,
you give me a second chand's oh the reunion is back,
timeless Tony Storm Mariah May. And then maybe you kind
of have something like that. But on the other hand,
maybe Mariah May sneaks a victory, maybe she takes the
title right back from the timeless Tony Storm. But but

(36:10):
for me, I feel like, if you were gonna give
the title to Tony Storm, you should have well, well,
then again, this is technically her rematch, her bouncing the
title back to Maria May.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Honestly, it wouldn't shock me. It wouldn't shock me whatsoever.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Like I said, these girls are going to be at
each other's throats for years and decades to come, so
it wouldn't really shock me if Mariam you know, picks
up the dub here. So right now, I'm kind of like,
you know, fifty five Tony Storm and then a forty
five percent Maria A all right, we got Keno skates
Kesha defending his AEW International championship against Kenny Omega. Ever

(36:41):
since Kenny Omega had made it back to AW who
was out for a full year on an injury, and
ever since he's made it back, he's made an impact.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
He's made a huge impact.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Definitely the spice the sauce that AW has been missing.
So I'd like Kenoskate t Kashna. You know, he was
a he was like a student of Omega. You know,
they had a nice little uh, you know, mutual respect
that you know obviously Ta Keshna you know kind of
you know showing his you know, showing the mentor like

(37:09):
that the student becomes the teacher kind of thing. So
when it you know, I I have knotes Kate Takeshna
retaining here I do.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
I do a thousand and ten percent.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
And it might be too soon in terms of you know,
I feel like it's a little bit too soon for Omega.
You know, he's you know, he's made it back for
about like a month and a half, I think a
month and a half going on two months returning to
ae W and you know something that Kenny, you Omega
kind of this is not a knock against Takesha or
anything like that. But something about Kenny Omega is he

(37:38):
doesn't really need a title for people to watch him
or to kind of give a crap about what he's
doing on the show knotes Ki Takeshna. Ever since joining
the Don Kallis family, he's done nothing but win, win, win,
no matter what. So I feel like he's gonna retain.
I feel like he's going to retain. Uh but if anybody,
if there's anybody that could dethrone him, it's gotta be Omega.

(37:59):
It's got to be Kenny Omega. But like I said before,
like in the match with Okada and King, I feel
like there's only one guy that could take that Continental
Championship away from Okada, and I feel like it's Omega,
you know. So, you know, and I kind of feel
bad for Okada, you know, ever since you know, the
whole uh, the whole EVP didn't work out with Matthew
Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry, you got Jack Perry dropped the title. Yeah,

(38:23):
but then Okada still has the title because he's getting paid, like,
you know, he's getting paid a lot of money from
Tony con Winz when he signed him back in I
think it's almost been a whole year him, Mercedes Monet,
and Osprey are almost in there, like year anniversary.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
That's crazy. So, you know, like I said, I don't
you know, I I you know a lot. I have
to cash and entertaining. I have to cash and entertaining.
I don't know. Right now, it seems like the right move.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Mercedes Monee taking on Momo Watsonabi for the TVs Championship.
Oh God, say it ain't so Monet change jays everything.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
You know, I feel I got, I've got Mercedes.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Monet still be be still being four belts money. You know,
I do love Momo and I feel like she would
be great in AW. But the way, like I said,
she's running on a year. She's running on a year
in ae W. You know, she's one of the best
women's wrestlers you know, in my opinion, Like, oh God,

(39:22):
and I hate to say it because I do love
to often like.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
Not trash her. I never trash her. I never trashed
Mercedes Money.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
I just feel like Tony Kahan the moment she came
to AE, he just gave her everything. And it's not
that she doesn't deserve everything, or that she's not talented
or amazing enough to deserve everything.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
You know, maybe I'm just jealous. Maybe I'm just jealous.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
No, but she is God, and I hate and it
makes me want to, you know, bite my tongue. But
I feel like she's gonna retain. And I feel like
what AW needs is for Mercedes Money to be successful
and be lecta be the cornerstone of women's wrestling. And
that's something that you know, Tony Kahan has done a
really good job of. But the belts are too much.

(40:07):
Belts are too much. Dropped the New Professional Wrestling Strong
Championship or one of the other ones. You know, keep
her the TBS Championship because that's ultimately you know, you know,
kind of assimilated with of ae W.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
I feel like she will beat Jade's.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Record, But you know, I respect Mercedes Monet, but I
do feel like Tony Kanna has kind of given.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Her a lot.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
And I've read a lot of reports saying that, you know, backstage,
she you know, she's uh, you know, kind of you know,
she's kind of like as she's portrayed on you know,
on camera, you know what I mean. But you know
it is what it is. It is what it is.
You know, sometimes when you are that good, sometimes when
you are that amazing. Sometimes if you work for everything
you've ever earned, if you ever earned a big fat
money of a you know, paycheck, you know, and you

(40:52):
deserved every dime of it based on hard work, dedication
and uh, you know, consistency, commitment, then you know, you do.
You know what a triple A said to seth Rollins
If nobody's if nobody's hating you, then you're not successful.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
No, what did he say? Damn it's oh god, what
did he say? He said, if.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
Nobody hates you, then you're not making money or something
like that. I'm not too sure, damn it. I'm gonna
actually fact check that during the break. But I got
Mercedes Bone retaining her championship cleanly. Next, we have will
Ospray taking on coll Fletcher in a steel cage match,
much like I alluded to earlier today, earlier in this segment, sorry,
I feel like no title to change hands, No titles

(41:33):
will change hands, and besides timeless Tony Storm, most of
the titles being defended are from heels, so you know,
during the non title matches, like you know, Ospray. You know, like,
what was that out of the match that I saw?

Speaker 2 (41:50):
What was that out of the match? Can't think of it?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
You know, I feel like will Osprey's gonna pick up
the dub here, will ostpres Oh hang Man out of
page against MJF.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
I feel like hang Man's gonna win. Hang Man gonna win.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
And then will Osprey is going to beat Kyle Fletcher
because Kyle Fletcher beat him last time. So this is
a you know, gonna be anice man. They're gonna have
probably a rubber match at ae W All in Texas.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
That'd be pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Maybe a number one contenders match for the aw International Championship.
That's when you would have you know, Tonskate to Keshner
drop that title against the competitor like will Osprey would
be pretty awesome. And like I said, I feel like
all that everybody holding the championships are going to retain.
I have Moxley picking up the dub here. Like I

(42:31):
said earlier in the segment when I was a review
in AEW Dynamite, is I see an opportunity for Wheeler
you to either help John Moxley win or Adam Copeland win.
And the way that John Moxley kind of stormed out
of Dynamite, basically saying that you.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
Got what you want. Copeland, I'm all by myself now.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Like maybe that was a little bit of a little
bit of a pride, a little bit of an act there.
But you know, I, like I said, I don't really
see the writer's storyline really going anywhere. And if he
did drop the title, you know, it would still be
the best storyline.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
On you know, in ae W. But you kind of
have to have him hold that title.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
He's still holding it, you Ransom, He's still holding ae W.
He's still grabbing it by the throat. It's going to
take a real, real hardcore babyface to dethrone Moxley. And
obviously coming to mind, and you know, I think of
maybe Darby, maybe Darby becomes champion. Perhaps there's been speculations
and reports saying that if Copeland wins, then we're gonna

(43:31):
get a Christian cage, you know, cashing. He does have
the contract where you're catching any time, anywhere, and then
then you have storre Strickland. Stir Strickland could possibly you know,
maybe he defeats Ricochet and then he regains his aw
World a Heavyweight Championship. But you know, as of right now,
I have you know, I have John Moxley retaining and

(43:52):
still AW World Heavyweight Champion is John Moxley. So you know,
I just hope it's gonna you know, it is it is,
you know, I scratch that, you know, it's not that
I hope that AW is gonna put out a good PL.
They always do, so it never really shocks me. But
you know, definitely can't wait to watch it on Sunday.
I so I was so hoping that it's streaming on
prior video meant that I could watch it for free,

(44:13):
but that's just me being a cheap scan, I guess,
you know.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
But uh, you know, like you know, I want to.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Buy it because it'd probably be worth every single be
worth every penny, you know, every single time I you know,
I watch an aew PL, you know, I'm in for
a for a long ride because you know, you have
about three hours for the show. You have pre show,
then you have the press conference show after, and you know,
it takes up a whole a chunk of your day,

(44:39):
and then you know, and it's all wrestling content. It's
all cool to watch, so you know, it's not like
it's not money well spent. Like if you go ahead
and go to Buffalo Wab Wings to spend fifty bucks,
you know, you're only there for probably like two hours
because you know, the appetizers, the drinks and stuff like that.
Like everything's expensive nowadays, it's insane, so you know, and
it's worth good cause professional wrestling kicking, ask taking names

(45:00):
all right, next segment, the WWE women's midcard titles are
in trouble. We're gonna talk about it. We're gonna dive
on into it. So grab your favorite snack, grab your
favoriteig school beverage to joined me here in about twenty
five seconds.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
So hey, do not go anywhere.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
We talk about basically absolutely everything in terms of professional wrestling.
We talk about contract status of superstars and active statuses,
injury updates. We talk about contract negotiations and extensions. We
talk about promotions from WWE TOEW to TNA two Ring
of Honor. So make sure you guys, Superman punched that
like to subscribe into the show. All right, without further ado,

(47:03):
let's gonna jump on into our third segment. We got
the WWE women's mid card titles in trouble question mark.
Go ahead and leave a comment after watching this show.
Let me know if you feel like the women's mid
card titles are in trouble or if you feel like,
you know, it might be a little bit slow and steadying.
You might have to wait for these eggs to hatch.
But it's gonna hatch into something absolutely beautiful, which I believe,

(47:25):
so I you know, I trust it.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
I honestly do, one thousand and ten percent.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
You know, I love Labra Valkyria as a babyface champion,
Chelsea Green as a huge United States Women's champion, you know,
being a heel. But you know, the women's division has
been the backbone of NXT and it looks like it's
only gonna grow more and more and more, and it's
gonna flood into Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
You have a whole bunch of prospects waiting on the

(47:52):
back burner to debut on the main roster, which a
lot of fans are absolutely scratching and clawing their way
to Plasus, you know, to possibly get it. You know,
you see a lot of talents in NXC that could
make an impact on Monday Night Raw, obviously, you know,
thinking of you know, you have Kailanie Jordan would be
a great you have the Meta girls Last Legend, and

(48:13):
Jakara Jackson Jada Parker would be amazing on the main
roster as well. There's just just gangload of gangload. I
would love to see fatal influence, why not. I love
to see them get into it, you know, But NXC,
they have a great women's you know division, and I
don't really feel like they're gonna touch.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
It quite just yet.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
But he who knows the women basically, you know, they
finally got their mid car titles. You know, they should
have gotten it basically like years ago before they lost
a lot of like talent because a lot of women
were just fighting for one championship. So then you know, essentially,
you know, your way up to the top, you would
get bottle nucked right there, and everybody would be kind

(48:51):
of stuck in the predicament where hey, nobody, not everybody
could win, not everybody could hold the most prestigious prize
in the women's division, the WWE Women's Championship. So then
you know, there was you know, then the women's worldvyweight champion,
you know was you know what was created. Then the
the Intercontinental Championship was created, then the you know, the
United States Women's Championship, and well the United States Women's

(49:13):
Championship was created before the Intercontinental. But then you know,
but then North American Championship, the women's in the NXC division,
NXT promotion was you know, was developed first. Obviously you
just saw the inaugrow winner of their Kaylon E Jordan
holding that title. But you know, it was long overdue.
It was long overdue for some mid car titles. But
some fans aren't actually loving the direction that it is

(49:36):
heading into as.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Of this moment. You know, with the w w WEE Women's.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
United States Championship, so far, all we've got was you
know a few between Mee chen And and Chelsea Green.
You know between Chelsea Green, you know, title title competitors
have been you know, it's been insanely repetitive, even in
Monday Night Raw, you know, Ivy and Ile Dakota Kai
going after Lyra Valkyria. So, you know, some fresh faces

(50:01):
within those mid car title contentions could be it could
be a pivotal factor for for w w e's a success.
You know, you also have you know, Rock San Perez,
Cora Jaide, you have Soul Ruka, You have a lot
of these NXT veterans that can make their jump up
and make a huge impact on Monday nightra Are on SmackDown.

(50:22):
So you know, w w you needs to start having
some new fresh faces. And with this, you know, Nil WWE,
I d the whole evolved thing. I feel like they're
gonna get those superstars rather, you know, it's quicker rather
than later. I did watch w w E evolve and
the women's match was super It was great. Carl Bright
and Kendall Kendel Gray absolutely absolutely phenomenal. You know, on

(50:43):
thousand percent. You know, Armstrong was great. I for one,
am a huge fan of her already, So you know,
you can't wait to see what a lot of these
women's superstars would do on the main roster. But w
w E, I feel like they need to switch it
up a little bit. And I know, you know, you've
recently had this whole thing happened between Bianca Bellair and
Jade Cargo and Naomi. That's gonna bust things wide open,

(51:05):
because you know, I kind of hated the fact that
they tag team division, that they tag team together to
win that championship, which ultimately I feel kind of crippled
the women's tack team division. Like you don't see Katana
Chance or getting carged anymore. You saw one half of
the Holy h On Union, uh of the Unholy Union
get released, and you also saw you you know, who's

(51:28):
the other tag pure Fusion Collective. You know, you still
have Shanna Besler, you still have Zobe Spark, but you know,
you had a lot of you know, you had some
potential Women's World Tag Team champions, like actual like tag teams,
which would have been better, uh for for the division
that instead of bel air Or and Cargo who belonged
in the singles division. You know, I was a little

(51:49):
blind a little bit at first. I hated it, then
I grew to love it, then I kind of hated it.
But but as of right now, I feel like it's
a great choice to have, you know, maybe Jade. I
feel like Jade is you know, the main event worthy thousand,
but it wouldn't have surprised me if she's the one
to you know, de Throne, uh, you know Chelsea Green,
which would be a what you would be pretty cool,

(52:10):
which would be pretty badass. You know, I feel like
the mid card titles still aren't getting a lot of
TV time, not a lot of good you know possible. Uh,
you know, bookings and storylines are going to be developed.
We have Becky Lynch still in the wakes of coming back,
Oscar Kyrie Sank still set to return. Alexa Bliss would
make the w W Women's United States Championship absolutely a

(52:32):
thousand and ten percent interesting as hell.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
So I would love to see that.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
I would have loved to see a little bit of
a you know, I'd like I feel like Dakota Kai
maybe does have a little bit more of a pop
than Libra Valkyria. Natalia as well could have definitely represented
the w W inter Continental Championship in the women's division.
Super you know, she's she's a veteran, she's a veteran.
She definitely acquires a lot of attention. She definitely in

(52:58):
terms of you know, the universe her you know when
she's very live on social media about things, and she
would you know, she's the sweetheart of w W E
and you've seen you know, her family hold that hold,
the Intercontinental Championship held high. Eoskuy's another name that would
be absolute fire in this division as well. But right now,
you know, as the women's World to w Waights champion.

(53:19):
I don't really see her dropping the title anytime soon,
but maybe because.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
I feel like that'd be kind of messed up, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Rareya Ripley gets her rematch, So then we have a
triple threat match at WrestleMania forty one, Eo Sky taking
on Raya Ripley taking on Bianca bel Air, the winner of.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
The elimination chamber match. It all seems groovy. It all
seems groovy.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
I know, Bianca Belair is actually putting her at WrestleMania
undefeated streak on the line. Maybe Jade Cargo finds and
we gonna kind of screwed her over. Maybe, But I
don't know. I feel like, you know, I feel bad
for Eo. But in terms of the women's intercontinental title division,
I feel like EO, Lyra and you know, Live Morgan
and those girls would be absolutely amazing wrestling for that

(54:03):
mid card title, you know, ultimately kind of creating like
a little bit of a little bit not like a
four horse woman kind of thing. But I don't know,
I you know, I definitely do feel like they need a.
You know, they need something different, they need a new taste,
they need a new taste and and yeah, bold champions.
You know, during the elimination qualified match or matches, we're pinned.

(54:24):
We're pinned. You know, Bailey pinned Lira Valkyria. Chelsea Green
was pinned by Naomi, which was kind of shocking. But
in Naomi, I think she won cleanly, by the way,
so you know what the heck man, I'm just kidding, No, Chelsea,
WWE has yet to make lyra uh and the Intercontital
Championship a huge big deal for w w E kind

(54:44):
of like what you're seeing with the Speed Championships for
the you know, for for just the women and the men's.
W w doesn't really seem to care about it. They
don't really seem to care about it. You know, you
don't see Chelsea, not Chelsea. You don't see Candice Lray
parading around the w WE Women's Speed Championship, which means
like if ww's again to showcase in on SmackDown when
she's not proudly holding the whole holding the title over

(55:06):
her shoulder.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
You know, if WWE doesn't care, why should we care?
You know what I mean? As fans, why why, you know,
why should it matter?

Speaker 1 (55:13):
You know? I know WWE Speed I had so much
high hopes for it, think that it was gonna be
like a like a reboot of like two five Live.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
But it wasn't. It wasn't.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
It sucked, but I don't know. And then Chelsea Green,
the United States Champion, was she was pinned again.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
She was pinned.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
Cleanly by Soul Ruka in a tag team match on
NXT this Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
So I feel like Soul, you know.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
A random like underdog fresh face coming into the WWE
would be pretty cool, you know. And then and then
she would give a title shot to like Zaria or
something like.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
That, maybe Zaria, you know, maybe she know, you know.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
I feel like the woman's division on SmackDown, I feel
like they have a lot of heels. I feel like
they already have heels, you know, So it's not really
that much. There was some speculations that Tristratus actually might
be able to do three own Chelsea Green of that championship,
and I feel like that would create a lot of buzz.
I'd created a prestige immediately if you have the seventh
time WWE Women's champion win.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
And Tchurch looks great.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
You know, she looks like she can go for definitely
another run and another championship run and eventually drop the
title to someone who's uh, you know ready, you know,
someone who makes it up from NXT and then they
drop it. You know, she drops the title to them.
So that would be pretty cool, that would you know,
that wouldn't be a bad story. Then wouldn't be a
bad booking right there. But being honest, these two champions,

(56:31):
you know, they need a path, they need a story,
they need a perspective. The titles should be defended quite more.
Both titles, you know, I feel will change hands at WrestleMania.
Everybody knows that WrestleMania is kind of like the super
Bowl in terms of the NFL. How it's kind of like, Okay,
WrestleMania's over brand new season. It's gonna be a brand
new season, and I feel like the new season's gonna
come out with brand new uh, brand new title holders.

(56:54):
So that should be a should be pretty interesting, you know, so.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
You know, can't wait to see it.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
You know, some say five titles for each brand is
a little bit too much, but the Women's World Tag
Team championships floating around. But honestly, I disagree. I disagree
a thousand and ten percent.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
I like the fact that they implemented a women's mid
card title, something they should have done a long, long
time ago. You know, but back then, you know, giving
women a little bit more television time wasn't really a
huge priority for WWE circa you know, two thousand and
like fifteen. Yeah, but it was you know, it's about time.

(57:30):
It's about it was about damn time, and uh, you shouldn't.
You shouldn't get rid of it. Definitely should not get
rid of it, one thousand and ten percent. But you know,
just a little bit of love here and there, creating
a new you know, couple of new faces coming in
would be pretty bad ass. But you know, I definitely
don't think. I feel like it's not in trouble. The
women's mid card titles aren't in trouble, but you know,

(57:51):
much like everything in this world, it could be a
could definitely be elevated a little bit more. Alright with
got further ado, We're gonna talk about our next segment.
We got Becky Lynch's WrestleMania return, So grab your favorite snack,
grab your favorite I school beverage. You join me here

greatest thing of the world, professional wrestling, all the action
inside and outside the ring, all the backstage curtain calls,
all the rumors, all the drama, all the conspiracy theories

(59:16):
that fans love to play with. We talk about you
know Superstar, you know contract negotiations, extensions and new signings.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
They're an active statuses, injury updates.

Speaker 1 (59:25):
We talked about promotions from w w E to Stardom
to nu Gymate Professional Wrestling, the game change in wrestling
to the NWA two ring Govander, we talk about it
here on this show.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
Thousands and ten percent.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
If it makes major news in the world of professional wrestling,
we are covering it. So remember to Superman Punch that
like a subscribe button to the show, Follow the show,
follow the network. All right, So, without further ado, we're
gonna talk about Becky Lynch's WrestleMania return. You know, it's
it's still likely, it's still likely, and it's still up
in the air. But you know, me being brutally honest,

(59:57):
if I could book Becky Lynch as soon as she
like four weeks away now, like it is rapidly coming up,
and you know, she's you know, she's done it before,
you know, randomly popping up at SummerSlam defeining Biancabella for
that championship.

Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
But again, that wasn't really ideal.

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
You know. I remember watching it and I was like,
this is kind of stupid. But like I said, nothing
against Becky, but I don't know, I just want to
see something like more like thought out, more emotionally manipulating
of the fans.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
I just want to these guys. I heard Becky. She
said in an interview.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
That when she comes back to w WE, she feels like,
you know, it's gonna be like just a different promis.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
It's gonna be just a different aura.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
She's gonna have a different persona different perspective coming back
to w w E. And you know, there's been some
rumor saying that she might drop the whole demand thing,
But I don't know, that's kind of a thing that's
gonna follow you your whole entire career, I would think.
But but anyways, Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE
since May of last year. You know, was recently announced.

(01:01:07):
Sports Illustrated ranked her number twenty of the greatest WWE
Superstars of all time, and then and then in the
women's she was number one ranked in terms of the
women's wrestling of all time. Because she was number twenty
in all of wrestling, she's number one in terms of
the in terms of the women. Becky Lynch has announced
that her paperback release of the best selling book Becky

(01:01:29):
Lynch The Man Not your average average girl is you know?
She posted on Instagram saying that the release a release
is what happened. It's paperback, so that's pretty bad ass.
Congratulations to her a bestseller too, That's that's pretty damn cool.
The WWE universe is eagerly awaiting her much anticipated WWE return.

Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
Becky Lynch had you.

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Know, she was last defeated by Live Morgan thanks to
dominic mysterio in a steel cage match. She was it
was a rematch for her World's Heavyweight Women's World Heavyweight Championship.
So so yeah, I can't be you know, I can't
wait to see it. I can't wait to see it
one thousand and ten percent. Uh So, you know, with
wrestlers like Roxan Perez, the Meta girls, you know, there's

(01:02:11):
a lot of new talent that are going to make
their way to the main roster. You know, I could,
I could definitely see why Becky Lynch might be a
little bit reluctant of returning to WWE. You know, she
was talking to a guy in an interview, and then
you know we're talking about with Jade returning, the Lexa Blist,
Charlotte Oscar. You know, right around the corner, is this

(01:02:32):
the right time for Becky Lynch to return to WWE?
You know, I could basically, you know, I can see
her in the match with Libra Valkyria. You know, maybe
she comes back, you know, a student of the game,
she comes back, you know from the mentor you know,
last time you saw Valkyria and Becky Lynch in the
same ring was once when Valkyria, you know, de throwing
Becky Lynch for the NXT Women's Championship. So you know,

(01:02:54):
wouldn't be much of a surprise if those two women
go at it for the Inner Continental Championship or then
and if she wins, it wouldn't be much of a
surprise as well. You know, she would represent that title
super duper well. But to be honest, I you know,
would it would it? You know, with her winning, you know,
would it really further the woman's mid card title picture?

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
You know I could, I could see it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
But then now you kind of now you have EO Sky,
now you have Ray Ripley, now you have Becky Lynch back,
Osca's back, Like the woman's main car title is going
to need Becky Lynch. I feel like if she ultimately
kind of goes and uh, you know, defeats librivoal Carryer
for that Intercontinental Championship.

Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
I feel like it'd be great. I feel like it'd
be really good for her.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
But you know, the Intercontinental Championship has always kind of
been like a designed for like rising stars when people
often kind of compare it to is like a stepping
stone to the main event division. But you know, maybe
we kind of have like a Becky Lynch Intercondental Championship
and kind of like the Miz where the Miz, you know,
he would you know, flirt back in and out being

(01:03:56):
the Intercontinental Champion, winning the w w EE Championship it
then you know, winning the Intercontinental Championship again. But you know,
and that could happen, and if anybody could do it
to be Becky, you know, Becky is a thousand timpercent.
She earned her way up to the top. She started
as like this. You know, this this adorable little irish
last kisser kicker that you know, you really really you know,

(01:04:19):
you're like, oh, she's going to be the man. She's
going to be the face of the women's division one day.
No way, dude, no way. But she's you know, she's
you know, she's kicked ass. She's she's done amazing. You know,
definitely gotta throw some flowers where flowers are doing. Becky Lynch,
if she decides to go after the Intercontinental Championship, maybe
for me it might take a little bit of adjusting,

(01:04:40):
but there's no doubt in my mind that she will
make this mid card title as prestigious as ever. So
that is a huge possibility as well. A lot of
people might think that she might actually team up with
Lyra Valkyria. Lyra loses the belt at WrestleMania, goes out,
you know, a rematch the Monday night Raw after Mania,
and she ends up getting RS kicked and there's only

(01:05:02):
one person that could save a returning Becky Lynch. And
then they go after the tag team championships in the
women's division, Keel Rodriguez and and liv Morgan. That could
work as well. That could work as well, like you've
seen it. But then again, like I said, you kind
of see it with Bianca Belaia and Jade Cargole.

Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
How you know, I.

Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Feel like they like they need to be in the
singles division because you know, like I said, there's a
lot of women's tag teams that has suffered because of
you know, Jade and Bianca being tag team champions. You know,
like Cayden Carter kits on a chance, like like the
Unholy Union, one of the girls got released, like it's

(01:05:39):
like it sucks, it's crazy like those you know, it
should be like tag Team Division going out a tag
team Jaikar Jackson, last Legend. You know, those girls should
be should be champions man. But you know, to no avail,
to no avail because you had two main eventers too,
singles wrestlers who could be Women's Champion, World Heevyweights champion
basically you know, gas and take names and the you know,

(01:06:01):
they kept defending, they kent retaining, and you know, maybe
it was a WWE. WWE's attempt to make the world
tag team titles a little more prestigious, which I can get,
Which I can get, cause at first, I you know,
like I said, I hated the Bianca Bell Layer and
Jade Cargo tag team. You know, but Jade, you know,

(01:06:21):
she had to get used to things going on in
w w E and now she event you know, she
eventually did. She eventually did, and you know, it was good,
it was good. But now it seems like it's kind
of running a little dry here. I can imagine, and
I kind of hate it too, Naya Jackson Lay possibly.

Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
Going for the Women's Tag Team Championships.

Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
Look what happened to Cannie Lay as soon as you know,
sort of as her and Indy hartwell, you know went heel.

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
You know Indy Hartwell, you know she got she got released.

Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Lay still sticking and kicking around, but you know, and
there's the speculations about Alexa Bliss teeming with Nikki Cross,
you know, to read you know obviously see that that's
a reunion they were. They have won the Women's World
Tag Team Championships before. But I don't know right now
that division is, uh, it's kind of up in the air.

(01:07:11):
So maybe just maybe Valkyria and Lynch being champions would
would would make it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
Make it nice, make it good.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Because I love the fact that Morgan Amerca Rodriguez were champions.
I feel like that's a great choice. I love it
for Raquel, I love it for Live that are three times.
It's not like they're two heavyweights going at it. I
mean two heavyweights tag teaming like Bianca Bella and Jaye
Cargo teaming up just to kind of find an excuse
to have gold.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Around your waist.

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
You know, these girls, you know, Morgan and Rica Rodriguez
are three time Women's World Tag Team Championship Championship holders,
so you know, it's not the same thing. It's you know,
it's kind of comparing apples the oranges there. But you know,
we need a tag team that can ultimately kind of
a kind of you know, kind of challenge the ultimately
challenge them. And Becky Lynch, you know, she has beef

(01:08:04):
with liv Morgan, so it'd be kind of cool to
see her and l re Vavkaria teaming up to go
after you know, the Women's World Tag Team Championships, so
that you know, that could definitely that could happen, That
could happen. I you know, I want to see Becky
come back. I do, but like I said, probably being
brutally honest, she's probably gonna return the money, and I
raw I doubt her coming back before WrestleMania. I know

(01:08:27):
SmackDown is airing right now on the East Coast, so
maybe like she popped up on smack that randomly, and
you know, I'm doing this video and I'm like, huh,
should proved me wrong, you know, but I'd be a
pretty cool Becky coming back would do Wonders for any
title that she's contending for. For me, personally, I would
love to see her back in the main title picture.

(01:08:49):
But you know, I thought maybe if Live held on
to the title, maybe that could have been a future.
But now that you had the championship around Eo Sky
and this whole Bianca bell thing and Ray Ripley say
she used to have friends and all this other stuff.
You know, it was a shocker that Eo won the title.
It was it really was.

Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
And Bionca Belair is a SmackDown superstar along with Jade,
so it's not like they can bring their beef to
Monday Night Raw.

Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
You know. The only reason why they were allowed on
Raw because there were the women in the World Tag
Team champions. So I don't know if maybe Bianca Butlla
is going to stay on Monday Night Raw and to
keep her and Jade apart.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
You know, I'm not too sure.

Speaker 1 (01:09:27):
But you know, I would love to see Becky content
for any title in her comeback.

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
But I just don't think she's gonna come back before wrestling.

Speaker 5 (01:09:36):
Hum.

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
All right, without further ado, we got our final final segment.
I recently spoke about how Becky Lynch was number one
ranked on Sports Illustrated's Best Women's Wrestlers of All Time.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
I'm gonna give you mine.

Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
I'm gonna give you my top ten greatest women's wrestlers.
When we come back to grab your favorite snack reby
favoritege school beverage, you join me here in about twenty seconds,
so hey, do not go anywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:10:09):
Stat alrighter.

Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
We are back to the GSMC Wrestling Laureate Podcast, brought
to me the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your favorite wrestling fan. Here,
Eric Rodriguez, Every Monday night live on the GSMC Sports
and Sports and Podcasting Network at nine o'clock Pacific time
at eight o'clock Pacific time eleven pm Eastern, Here to
talk about the greatest thing in a real professional wrestling

(01:11:37):
all the action inside and outside of the ring, backstage
curtain calls, all the rumors, all the drama, all the
conspiracy theories. We talk about superstar and active status is
superstar in jury status? We talk about their contracts, contract
negotiations and maybe some awesome extensions.

Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
We talk about promotions.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
From WWEAW to TNA to Ring of Honor to Nuturement
professional wrestling, the game change in wrestling Basically, if it
makes a major news in the world of professional wrestling,
we talk about it here and covering on the show.
So remember to Superman punch that like a subscribe button
to the show, follow the show, follow the network. All right,
without further ado, let's talk about the top ten greatest

(01:12:14):
women in professional wrestling, according to your boy, Eric Rodriguez,
the host of the GSMC Wrestling Laureate podcast. And I
gotta be honest, much like every list you'll ever come across,
whether it's the top ten quarterbacks of all time, whether
it's the top ten shooting guards in the NBA, whether
it's the top ten home run hitters of all time,

(01:12:35):
you know, in Major League Baseball, there's always going to
be some sort of a biases.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
You know, there's always going to be some sort of
a you know, like you know, I was, you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Know, kind of brought up on professional wrestling during the
attitude error, during the pre women's evolution era. Then I
kind of took a little bit of a break, I
gotta be honest, I took a little bit of a
break from professional wrestling, eventually dove back into it late
twenty tens, and then as of right now, I'm a
huge I'm back into it one thousand and ten percent.
I'm heavy into it, and I don't really see my fandom.

(01:13:07):
I don't really see my attention going elsewhere, especially under
Triple H Paulo vec Era. But I'm gonna give you
guys my top ten WWE Women's wrestlers of all time.
But first and foremost, let's have some honorable mentions here.
We're gonna talk about Elundri Blaze. Alundra Blaze is not
on my top ten, but she is, you know, huge
trail blazer in terms of women's wrestling, A three time

(01:13:29):
women's champion, she's a WCW Cruiserweight Champion. Obviously, Alung Blaze,
you know, recently being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Super cool, super awesome. I definitely feel like she is,
like I said, she's like she's a trailblazer.

Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
That's pretty. You know, she's she's amazing, She's amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
You know, she did the WWE Women's wrestling once when
a lot of people were kind of turning a blind
eye to it. You know, probably one of those things
where probably once when the women's wrestling came on, a
lot of fans got up to get another beer, got
another you know, she made sure she put onto great
matches against Bullna Como and it's awesome, very admirable, so,
you know, as one of the honorable mentions on my list.

(01:14:10):
Another honorable mention I have is Molina Malina Perez. She's
a three time Women's champion. She's also a two time
Divas champion, so I definitely think that's pretty cool. One
thousand times percent. She was great, especially like during like
my ending era of professional wrestling, Like during a little
bit would it really be perithlus aggression Eira, I'm not

(01:14:31):
too sure.

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
Another honorable mention we have Jacqueline. Jacqueline one of my
favorite wrestlers during the attitude there. I remember in her
you know, Ivory.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Would go at it.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
It was you know, it was it was pretty cool.
It's pretty awesome Sable, you know, but all you know,
I wasn't a huge Sable guy. I was more into like,
you know, Jacqueline and you know whatnot. So Jacqueline on
two time a Women's champion. She was also a Cruiserweight champion.
She's also a w WE Hall of Famer, So we
talk about our honorable mentions. Now I want to get
into my dishonorable mansions. I'm just kidding, know, Uh, these

(01:15:03):
are some women that, you know, like I said, I
went over the Sports Illustrated list, I'm kind of happy
that these girls didn't didn't make it on the top ten.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Ronda Rousey, Ronda Rousey not a huge Ronda Rousey guy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:15):
I feel like although she came from MMA and the UFC,
she was like, uh, you know, and all them, maybe
she should have started in w w E NXC. And
she has said backstage that during her time in w
w w w E creatives didn't really kind of give
her and the other women kind of like a little
bit of a rundown as opposed to the men.

Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
But you know, maybe she could have been great. I
feel like maybe she was a little bit too UFC
for the w w E.

Speaker 1 (01:15:39):
But but now I'm happy she wasn't really on that list.

Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
Sable, like I said, I wasn't a huge Sable kind
of guy. She was.

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
She was, you know, not I'm not saying that she
wasn't a good wrestler. You know, I'm not saying that
whatsoever at all she was. I remember she was on
Mark Merrow and Mark Merrow, Mark Merrow, you know she
was no that, you know, that pretty face the manager
kind of thing winning the WWE championship. But but honestly,
I'm just happy that Sable wasn't really on that list.

(01:16:08):
Another one that I was happy that wasn't on the
list was Stephanie McMahon. You know, I you know, corporately,
you know, it's cool, and I know that she was
the driving for driving voice behind the women's evolution and
this and that and the other. But you know, I
feel like maybe just maybe, I know, you know, having
having a hard headed father like Vince McMahon, like his

(01:16:31):
father was to him, you don't really kind of take
advice from your kids, but you know, maybe, you know,
Stephanie man could have been like, hey dad, maybe she's stopped,
you know, with all these But you know, then again,
a lot said that, you know, there's been speculations saying
that you know that she wasn't aware of any of
the allegations going around, but you know, she was the champion,
like around the whole Triple h McMahon Helmsley era, and
I feel like she was only the women's champion to

(01:16:53):
kind of stick it to the women's division that hey,
we hold all the gold here, which isn't a good
reason of being the top ten woe of all time. Nevertheless,
top twenty, so I'm happy Stephanie McMahon was not on.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
That list of ten percent.

Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
So let's go ahead and go on to my top
ten women of all time in terms of professional wrestling.
Number ten, I gotta start with the Bianca Bellaer Bianco Butler.
She's a two time Women's Champion SmackDown. She's a SmackDown Champion,
she's won the Women's World Tag Team titles twice, and
she's a Royal Rumbo winner back in twenty and twenty one.
She's the future of WWE, still kicking ass and taking names.

(01:17:30):
And at number nine, I got Mickey James. Mickey James,
she's a huge advocate for professional wrestling in the women's division.
She's a five time WWE Women's Champion, She's a she's
been Divas Champion. She's also been teen Knockouts World Women's
Champion as well. And Mickey James has been She's been impressive,
you know once when she was back then, you know,

(01:17:52):
with her and Tristratus, the storylines that they had together
was pretty well, it was pretty funny, pretty interesting. They
had great matches, you know, nice chemistry together inside the ring,
but every single time they stepped inside that ring, you
know it was going to be an absolute, you know, banger.
So you know, Mickey James, I have at number nine.
At number eight, I got Oscar Osca, WWE Women's Champion,

(01:18:12):
three times n XT Women's Champion, she's a Snackdown women's Champion,
she's a women's tag team champion, four times Money in
the Bank winner in twenty twenty and Royal Rumble winner
in two thousand and eighteen. And she's coming back as well,
so she still has a lot of accolades probably awaiting her.
So one thousand and ten percent got to throw my
flowers to put Oscar right there at number at number eight,

(01:18:36):
all right, number seven, I got Raya Ripley, Raya Bloody Ripley,
a two time Women's World Tevyweight Champion, rob Women's Champion,
tag Team, Women's World Tag Team Champion, NXT Champion, NXC
UK Champion, Royal Rumble winner in twenty twenty three. And
if you if you know she doesn't regain that WWE
Women's World Hevyweight Championship.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
Maybe she might be a.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Shoeing to win the Women's Money in the Bank match,
so you know, that would be pretty bad ass, that'd
be pretty cool percent. But you know, Ray Ripley is
still kicking, like you know, like I said about bel Air,
like I said about Oscar, these girls are still have
a lot more accolades ahead of them. So for one,
I can't wait to see ray Ripley and what she
does in the future. In terms of WWE, all right,

(01:19:21):
at number six, I got China China the women WWE
Women's Champion and WWF Intercontinental Champion to two time WWF
Intercontinental Champion.

Speaker 2 (01:19:31):
You know once what you know, like Alundra Blaze.

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
I gotta be honest, she was a trailblazer in the
women's division, you know, and everything that happened, you know
with China, and you know, her booking in WWE after
you've kind of seen you know what, I don't know.
I just feel like this woman was a huge reason
why women's wrestling was was you know, prominent in the

(01:19:54):
early nineties, not early nineties, like early two thousands, late nineties,
you know, part of D Generation X. She literally was
the cornerstone of women's wrestling. You know, there wasn't really
any hardcore like you know, hardcore women out there that
like once when like you bring up the WWF slash

(01:20:16):
WWE to like just a you know, a random person
who wasn't a wrestling fan, you know, but they would
know China.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
Everybody remembers the.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
Ninth well, you know, the Wonder of the World who
probably should have had some WWE title runs more, but
I'm guessing they didn't give it to her because she
would just be like an absolute dominant champion.

Speaker 2 (01:20:32):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:20:33):
It's kind of like how you're seeing like Ray Ripley
right now in the WWE when she's when she's the champion,
she just looks, you know, unstoppable, And I feel like
China would have been like like she would have been
like a five to like ten times WWE Women's Champion
and had titer rains that exceeded about two hundred and

(01:20:53):
three hundred plus days. So you know, there's a reason
why she doesn't have that much gold or accolades to
her name. But the reason why she doesn't have all
those accolades to her name is because of how damn
impressive she really was so in a way, it's kind
of like, what doesn't kill you make you stronger. I
guess you can say that's what I'm alluding to. But

(01:21:14):
you know, that's the reason why I have China so high,
because you know, I know, WW was like, I don't
think anyone's gonna take this girl down, and no one
would really believe it. So number five, I got Lyda Lida,
a four time women's champion at tag team women's champion,
and a twenty fourteen Halt of Famer. I remember when
she debuted with Sa Rios, and you know he would
he was pushing her away too many times. And then

(01:21:35):
Matt Hardy gone father, and then then the whole thing
with the edge happened, and it was I'm just kidding,
no moving on, but she was great every single time
she stepped inside the ring. And if it wasn't for
her landing on her neck, you know, injuries happened, sports,
sports injuries happened, and unfortunately for Lyda, it was one

(01:21:56):
that ultimately haunted her or kept her away from professional wrestling.
And you know, but we all appreciate what Leada did
for the women's division. You know, you see a lot
of high flying back flips in terms of you know,
like like you see Tiffany Shratton, like you see Eo Sky,
you see a lot of these women that women's wrestling
wasn't wasn't like really like that. You know, it wasn't

(01:22:18):
really you know, you don't see them going on the
top ropes of hitting something other than an eubbow drop.

Speaker 2 (01:22:24):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:22:24):
Ledo would do, you know, do crazy stuff. She would
jump from the top rope to the outside. She would jump,
you know, she would leap over the top rope. She
was Team Extreme, Team Extreme No Fear. So you know,
she definitely you know, paved the way for women to
kind of be like, hey, you know what, that's a
new innovative style and professional wrestling that you know, WWE

(01:22:45):
Women's superstars to this day grow up watching and they're like, oh,
you know what, that's pretty badassling, you know, and then.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
Lo and behold.

Speaker 1 (01:22:51):
Then they become WWE superstars and then they you know,
have some moves that they you know, acquired from Leada.

Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
So definitely love and respect.

Speaker 4 (01:22:58):
That number four.

Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
I'm having these girls share a spot. Hah, I'm just kidding. No,
I am though. At number four, I have Bailey and
Sasha Banks Mercedes Monet, both these girls still kicking assid
and taking names. I have them sharing the spot because
you know, they're actually best friends in real life, guys,
so don't you know, don't get on my rs too
much there. But you know, Sasha Banks is a five

(01:23:25):
time Women's World Champion, SmackDown Women's World Champion, a tag
team champion three times, you know. And Bailey Bailey has
accomplished basically everything under the sun, two time WWE Women's Champion,
a two times SmackDown Champion, a tag team champion, twice
NXT champion.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
We're ramon.

Speaker 1 (01:23:45):
They're back in twenty twenty four and she won the
money to make back in twenty nineteen. So you know,
both these girls absolutely impressive. I have them share the
number four spot, not out of disrespect, out.

Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
Of respect for their best friends. Come on, man, they're
best friends. Moving on.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
I have Becky Lynch number three, you know, and like
I said, you know, in terms of creating a list,
there's gonna be some biases.

Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
There's gonna be some you know.

Speaker 1 (01:24:08):
Oh you know, I feel like this person did this
because you know, during the era, during the.

Speaker 2 (01:24:13):
You know, the generation she fought.

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
You know, she never really had the opportunities to accomplish
all the stuff that Becky could have accomplished. So I
got Becky Lynch sitting at number three, a five time
a Women's World Champion, a two time Raw Women's champion,
a tag team champion, NXT champion, Royal Rumbo winner back
in twenty nineteen. You know, I bet I would you

(01:24:35):
know she would be a shoeing for a Woman's Money
in the Bank winner this year. You know it would
be and she would represent it. Wow, it'd be pretty
awesome to watch. At number two, I have Charlotte Flair.
Charlotte Flair one thousand and ten percent Raw. She's been
a w W B Raw Women's Champion six times, a
w W Women's SmackDown Champion seven times, She's been a
Divas Champion, tag team champion, two time NXT champion, Royal

(01:24:58):
Romo winner, the first ever two time winner in women's history,
and in twenty twenty and recently in this year twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 2 (01:25:06):
And Charlotte Flair, much like all.

Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
The other girls I was talking about that are still kicking,
looks to be racking up some more accolades here. So
I can't wait to see where Charlotte holds in favor.
She would definitely be a favorite to win them Women's
money in the bank. If she doesn't, you know, de
throwing Tiffany Stratton for that WWE Women's Championship and the
last number one, I have Tris Stratus. I have trist Stratus. Guys,

(01:25:31):
seven time WWE Women's Champion. She's a hardcore champion, twenty
thirteen Hall of Famer, and she's back and she's in
absolute great shape. I feel like she has the WWE
Women's United States Championship run and her I can see her,
you know, winning Attack Team Championships with somebody. But you know,

(01:25:52):
I definitely, you know, you gotta love her and respect Tristratus.
Trist Stratus literally, you know she she did it all,
you know, the pre Women's evolution, you know with her, Leada, Victoria,
Mickey James, all these girls that literally gave everything to
turn perception, turn the perception of the WWE universe, to

(01:26:12):
show WWE Creative and the bosses and officials, along with
the training of Fit Finley, that we are more than
just a pretty face. We are more than just bra
and panty matches. We were more than just a mud
wrestling this and that and the other pillow fights, you know,
fulfill my fantasy playboy, you know all that other you know,
stupid crap.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
They were more than that. They were more than that.
They could.

Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
They were very talented, very athletic. Ultimately, they didn't get
a lot of television time. So whenever they did, they're like, Okay,
let's make this bad ask give me a give me
like an elbow or you know, moon salt, let's get
let's hit a superplex, which was highly unknown in terms
of women's wrestling, was you know, anything from the top
rope or basically, anything different than like a they're affer

(01:26:55):
different than a hairpool or a scratch or and you know,
just something.

Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Bogus like that, like and tristratus like I.

Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
Was kind of talking about when I was talking about
Becky Lynch. There was no women's money in the bank,
There was no women's Royal Rumbo, there was no women's
World Tag Team Championships, there were no there was no
women's mid car titles, but if there were.

Speaker 2 (01:27:14):
If there were, she would.

Speaker 1 (01:27:17):
Definitely have won them to her reigns would have towered
over all these other women and I you know, and
like I said, in terms of list, you know, you
have your body season. I grew up once when Tristratus
was basically, you know, on top of the world. One
percent stratisfaction. Gotta be brutally honest. I used to collect
wrestling dolls, used to play with them. Had no interest

(01:27:39):
whatsoever of buying any girl doll there was.

Speaker 2 (01:27:43):
On the shelf besides tris stratuses.

Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
I would have the Tristratus doll like fight my Triple
H doll, fight my Edge doll and Shawn Michaels and like, you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
Know, it was you know, it was it was cool.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
She was badass, she was great, like she was like
a huge like generational, she was generational talent in the
women's division. That's base, you know that basically, you know,
she was that bridge for me. I feel like, you know,
like in the attitude aary like Ivory, Jacqueline, you know, China,
Miss Kitty. You know, you would have those you know,

(01:28:15):
those weird like you know women matches that were highly
exploiting and you know, super bad. And then as of
what the women have become now, you had to kind
of have that bridge to consistently poke wwe officials to
consistently change the perception of WWE fans.

Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
And she was that bridge.

Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
Tristratus was that bridge alongside, like I said, with Lida,
alongside with Victoria, Mickey James, and you know you would
down the line, you know, you would get you know,
some other women as well, you know, w W Hall
of Famer, Tory Wilson, Stacy Keeler. You know they're all great,
they're all cool, but none were as impressive. And WWE

(01:28:57):
didn't have the confidence to put the title on anybody
that they didn't think could usher them into a new
women's evolution.

Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
Besides, true, Stratus was the one.

Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
She was.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
She was the Golden gooose. She was you know, she
was chosen.

Speaker 1 (01:29:09):
And you know you've seen her when she joined, you know,
when she was the manager for Test and Albert, you know,
t Anda, all that stuff. She you know, she had
to pay her dues. She Vince McMahon's you know, assistant.
You know, it was crazy. Even though during the Vince McMahon,
during the Vince McMahon not parody, damn it, during the
documentary mister McMahon on Netflix, you I'm not saying that

(01:29:33):
what she was saying was probably a lie because I
feel like maybe during that back in that time, maybe
vince allegations, you know, maybe he did kind of push
Trisian away or kind of make her wanted to do
this or manipulate her in some way, and then maybe
later on down the line they squashed it and they
eventually became professional friends.

Speaker 2 (01:29:52):
And she didn't bury him. She didn't bury him.

Speaker 1 (01:29:55):
We're like, you know, I can imagine a lot of
women's talent, wouldn't you know that's a but I guess
that's Trish.

Speaker 2 (01:30:02):
Trish.

Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
You know she knew the you know, I guess you
know how to play it, how to you know, at
that point in that back then, you know, she knew
how to like, you know, stroke the ego to get
what you want.

Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
It's kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:30:15):
Play by the rules to eventually become the best. And
she definitely one thy and ten percent put up a
lot of bs. You know, a lot of patients, a
lot of patients. This Canadian professional wrestler that is, you know,
Hall of famer. And in my opinion, I have trist
Stratus number one on my list is strictly because you know, successful,

(01:30:36):
all the accolades. What she would have done in contemporary WWE.

Speaker 2 (01:30:40):
Imagine her in the prime right.

Speaker 1 (01:30:41):
Now, that'd be pretty cool. That'd be pretty bad ass
to watch. But you know, I was lucky enough to
watch it when it happened. So you know, Tristratus number
one on my list. If you hate it, you love it,
let me know in the comments section. I know, Sports
Illustrated deemed Becky Lynch number one, and like I said,
I'm not hated on Becky, And I didn't create this
list to spite any people who believe that Becky is

(01:31:03):
the number one woman's wrestler.

Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
Of all time. Now, it's always kind of fun.

Speaker 1 (01:31:07):
And you know, kind of interesting to you know, kind
of do a little bit of research and be like huh.

Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
But then again, I gotta be honest.

Speaker 1 (01:31:12):
Even if I didn't do research, I I got admit, like, oh,
Tristratus is gonna be number one, Like that was in
my brain in the hotel.

Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
I was like, Tristrats number one.

Speaker 1 (01:31:21):
Sorry, uh no, Slasha Banks, No, sorry, Tristratus number Like
you know that that biases that list, biases that every
journalist you know suffer in terms of making list or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
So all in all, I hope you like my list.

Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
