the ring, all the backstage curtain calls, all the rumors,
all the drama on, all the fan conspiracy theories us
as wrestling fans obviously do on a day to day basis,
which is always really fun. We talk about, you know,

(01:24):
WWE releases, AEW transfers, We talk everything in terms of
professional wrestling. So grab your favorite snack, grab yourferred ice
cooling beverage. You get ready for an hour of professional
wrestling talk. Also remember to participate in the chat. My
motto is this podcast is a hell of a lot
more entertaining with the audience engagement, you know, than that
I'm just rambling up here for an hour, not really

(01:47):
not really cool. I'm just kidding. No, I'm not trying
to be cool. I don't got to prove anything to anybody,
you know, I'm just goidna know. Moving on. Hope everybody
had a great week. Obviously, happy mothers stayed all the
amazing strong beautiful mothers out there. Keep doing what you're doing.
You are making a difference and your hard work is noticed.
Also this month May mental you know, Mental Health Awareness month,

(02:10):
so you know, those struggling with anxiety and depression or
make sure you reach out talk to somebody one thousand
and ten percent. You know, you can reach out to me.
Hear in the chat and just be like Eric, I
think you suck, and I'd be like, I'm just kidding. No, no, definitely,
you know, make sure to you know, take care of yourself.
And you know, you know it's crazy and I'm gonna
go on a strange little tangent for a second. That's

(02:31):
not about professional wrestling. You know, when you're a kid
and you know growing up during the adolescents stage, you know,
you go through a lot of stress and anxiety and
you know try to fit in all the pressure, all
the angst. You know what that comes with, you know,
high school, middle school, basically in all school. You know,
and then you know physicians and you know, pediatrician they

(02:52):
make it like basically you know they check you. You
know your body, and you know your body, your physical health,
they check your your oral obviously dentistry, you have your
month you know, through six month check up, yearly checkup
either or you know, if your teeth sucks. Uh, you know,
you have you know your vision, you know, and you know,
it's crazy. I feel like there should be you know,

(03:13):
maybe like a yearly like chat to find out with
like you know, with mental health and stuff like that.
You know, just you know, if you want to talk
to somebody, you know, that should be a covering or
to health in church. But then again, like I said,
I'm not sure if that you know, that falls under
a different truth that I'm totally surpassing and now you know,
obviously breaching over. But you know that kind of that
kind of a you know, dawned upon me. I actually
did want to do a research on that when I

(03:34):
was taking my communications research during my bachelor's you know,
when I was getting my bachelor's degree. But but once again,
mental health mental Health Awareness Month, may don't be afraid
to reach out. Most of the time, it's people who feel,
you know, they feel nervous, they feel burden to the person,
they feel they feel shy, they feel absolutely you know,

(03:56):
they just feel nervous, they feel embarrassed, you know, and
sometimes it thanks a friend to, you know, just or
a friendly smile walking down the street. You know, see
hi to your neighbor, you know, give a high five.
You know, it's always cool to be nice. Being a
jerk nowadays is not really you know, it's not really cool. So,
you know, without further ado, without further ado, and no
longer gilding the lily, we're gonna talk about professional wrestling,

(04:17):
have a great show for you today. All lined up,
We're gonna talk about some SmackDown backlash. Then we're gonna
talk about the w W Women's World Tag Team Championship Division,
Dead cursed, whatever you want to call it. It's bad.
It's really really bad right now, and we're gonna talk
about it. We're also gonna talk about my fourth segment.
We're going to talk about my recent reactions on some

(04:40):
of the WWE releases, which will ultimately kind of tie
into what we're talking about within the Women's World Tag
Team Division, and if at the final segment, we're gonna
cap it off with some ae W Dynamite Beach Break preview.
So yeah, like I said, grab your favorite snack, a
nice cold beverage, a nice cold beer, root beer that is,
get some whatever you guys like to snack on, and

(05:01):
let's talk about professional wrestling together. But before we get
onto into any of that, I just want to remind
you guys to go ahead and hit up that tips
and donations link. Also hit up that super chat. But
if you've got a Bernie question or hot take in

love and positivity. If we want to make sure you
guys feel like your voice is heard, don't be shot.

the way you guys support the channel was through super chats.

(06:26):
not just my podcast. We want you guys to feel
like you guys are a part of the makes a
thousand and ten percent. So don't be shy. Drop anything,
Drop your top ten female wrestlers, drop your you know,
European Championship favorite, her hardcore. We talked wcwe talk WWE
slash WWF. So yeah, just don't be shy drop your
thoughts inside that chat. So now, without further ado, Oh no,

(06:49):
that was wrong. That was wrong. See, you know I've
been gone for you know, quite some time. We're gonna
talk about some smack down. You know, we talked about
the tips of donations link, So let's go ahead and
talk about some WWE Friday Night SmackDown with Wayde Barrett
and Joe Tessa Tory. So it was good. It was
a good episode, nice little you know, nice little pre

(07:11):
episode before Backlash. We're you know, probably won't talk about
some of the stuff that happened on Backlash, like the
John Cena and Randy Orton thing. Yeah, it's cool, like
we had a you know, we had a fake Randy
Orton ran out to the ring and then Randy Orton
came out and r kaot, I'm like Randy Orton throughout
these promos have been he's just been on top through
this whole time. And obviously what happened at Backlash teams

(07:32):
like it's you know, a page justice to the way
and and we as fans are supposed to be happy,
but you know, it is what it is. So yeah,
let's go in and talk about some SmackDown. So obviously
one of the main matches, you know, we had a
number one contenders match for the w WE Women's were
Women's Championship. Jade cargole trying to get into the championship picture,

(07:55):
trying to ignore the thorn in her side Naomi. But
obviously that did not happen tonight, Naomi. You know, she
proved dividends, but Jade throughout the match was holding her own.
This was a good match. This was exactly you know,
the top tier contenders own the SmackDown Women's division once again.
Still WWE has not announced anything in terms of the draft,

(08:15):
or maybe they haven't. Maybe I just completely glanced over it.
If I have, make sure you drop inside that chat.
But over ill thought it was a good match. You know,
it was kind of cool to see, you know, to
see that confrontation between Jade and Charlotte before the match
and before everything kind of got started. You know, Charlotte Flair,
you know, after losing to Tiffany Stratton, putting Tiffany over.

(08:37):
You know, I don't know if she has another tall
task ahead of her of putting Jade over, But Jaye,
I feel like she's over with the fans right now.
I really honestly don't feel like Charlotte really has to
you know, has to you know, push any more, you know,
likeness onto Jade because she's already kind of doing that
within herself in the feud with Naomi and the feud
with you know who pushed her over this and that

(08:59):
and when she had was a nice stuff, you know,
women's World Tag Team Champion with Bianca bel Lair. So
you know, she could wrestle, she could wrestle. Everybody likes her.
You know she has that, you know, that bad girl mentality.
I was gonna say, you know, the B word, but
you know she's a bad No, I'm not gonna say.
I'm not gonna say it. But Charlotte Flair too, can't

(09:20):
you know, can't help but to give kudos to her.
She's right now, you know, doing so much within the
women's stacking division on SmackDown. You know, Triple H is
obviously very happy with the way that Charlotte Flair has
kind of you know, you're kind of seen this within
a woman's division too, Like you know, you've seen it
with you know, with Bailey, you know you've seen it
with Becky. You know you've seen it with Charlotte. Whether
these top tier contenders were once you know the face

(09:42):
of the division, you know, holding Women's World Championships, and
now it seems like it's kind of you know ling,
it's kind of falling down to the younger, you know,
the younger like Bianca Belair, the younger like you know,
Raya Ripley, Live Morgan, Tiffany Shrey and Jay Cargo. So
know that's cool. Like Naomi doing the same thing for Jade,

(10:03):
you know, putting over I bet you that feud was
you know, it was a huge blessing for Jade, and
Jade got to work with one of her closest friends
with and obviously talking backstage within the w w WEE,
so you know, super cool. Definitely love to construt and
sending a ringside you know, totally shocked and scared and
be like, oh my god, what's going on? She I
felt like, did not want Nya Jacks to get to win,

(10:25):
but like I said before, it was inevitable. We had
you know, Naomi with coming. You know, she came in
with the woodwork and uh you know, and she screwed
j She screwed j Bro Justice for Jade. Uh No,
but this should be an interesting match with Nia Jacks
getting a rematch. She did have a rematch by Candice
lat you know, kind of screwed it up and you know,
too much. To my chagrin. I was like, dude, like,

(10:46):
why isn't Nia Jacks beating the holy hell out of
Candis Lrat? She literally cost you the match? Like and
now you're, you know, you're being like, good job, Candace,
Like you know, I didn't really get that. So we
might see a third w w WEE Women's Championship run
between Nia Jacks, which would be pretty cool. You know.
I feel like if she did overall take the belt
off of Tiffany Stratton, I don't think it would really

(11:07):
do much to you know, for Tiffany. I don't think
it would well, not like in terms of negative wise.
I feel like she's already went out there to granted
Stagelamo All wrestled Charlie Flair, she won. You know, she's
had the tag, she's had the championship quite some time.
You know, the money to bank Cashion was awesome, But
Naya Jacks. I do have a soft spot in my
heart for Naya Jacks, and I feel like every single
time she has a championship run, it's either cut short

(11:28):
or something fluky and something weird happens where she where
she loses it, but her getting cash in is probably
the you know, the best justice. It's kind of like
that unwritten rule of professional wrestling when a champion loses
the championship via you know, money to bank cash and
you know, it doesn't really look negative upon the champion
who lost the belt. So you know, maybe she might
have you know, maybe she might you know, pick it

(11:50):
back up. Next, we have a Tag Team Champion and
Tack Team Championship. We had a tag team match that
was you know, should have been in Attack Team Championship.
We had Loves Garza, the you know leg Gotdo Dell
Fantasma taking on on Dreide Ray Phoenix and definitely something
a thousand type percent of Ray Phoenix and the WWE
has been so damn good. Lumberto also Garza, Angel Garza
has been you know, they've been fantastic on Draida coming

(12:12):
back to WWE. You know, you can just see these
guys as being you know, maybe the new face of
the you know, Triple A in terms of you know,
the new WWE partnership, which would kind of you know, oh,
you know what, it would suck because you know, they'd
be kind of cool, and honestly, they would feel like
I feel like the Luchadors and you know, you know,
the wrestling and stuff like that in Latin America would

(12:35):
love to see these stars wrestle on like like on
their home turf and stuff like that. That'd be super cool.
And you know, these guys bringing it to the WWE
from you know, from Luca Luce Leebre Wrestling, and you know,
it just makes WWE better. It makes all the wrestlers
better one thousand and ten percent. What Penta is doing
on Monday Night Raw is you know, fantastic. What Ray

(12:55):
Mysterio has been doing his whole tenure in w W,
and of course Eddie Guerrero as well. There's been a
lot of great you know, you know Latin American wrestlers
that you know, never really got the you know, never
really got the shine, never really got to, you know,
the recognition that they deserved and which sucks, which is awful.
It's terrible because WWE's always kind of had a stereotypical

(13:16):
thing in terms of you know, Latin American wrestlers like them,
the you know, like the Mexicos, you know what I mean,
which was stupid, but you know, it is what it is.
You know, obviously, maybe they learned eventually. Next we have
Carmelo Hayes taking on Alistair Black. This match was actually
pretty good. It was a pretty damn good match. You
see the top NXT stars. You know, it's kind of
crazy Alistair Black coming back to w WE and ever

(13:38):
since he got promoted from NXT the first time to
the main roster. You know, he he got kind of
cut short. You know. I felt like overall, this was
a nice match for both of these guys. Carmel O
Hayes has been you know, kind of hitting under the
radar as well on SmackDown, so I kind of felt
like this was like a nice little showing out party
for both of these guys. Obviously, Next t Alextair Black

(14:01):
the first time. You know, it feels like you know,
his standing ae w uh, you know, it just like
a just like a like it just passed, like you know,
it's like a hiccup, you know what I mean. I
think Carmelo Hayes, you know, doing what he does best
every single time he enters the ring has been absolutely great.
He's been absolutely phenomenal, you know, he he plays to

(14:22):
his you know, he his chemistry within his opponent inside
the ring and the way he overall dictates and like
he doesn't miss his cues, he doesn't miss you know,
non verbal uh you know techniques. The matches are pretty badass,
you know, and every single time you see Carmelo Hayes
in the ring, you know, you can see it on
the you know, on his opponent's faces that he's you know,
it's you know, overall he's making them both look good.

(14:45):
And you know, I love the fact that a lot
of you know, and you can hear this, you know
backstage with all the w w w wrestlers that Carmelo Hayes.
You know he's young, but you know with young, you
know comes inexperienced, but this guy's actually really really experienced,
you know, no inexperience whatsoever. But you know, would eventually
love to see him winning, obviously, you know, Alistair Black

(15:05):
getting to roll up for the win, hitting the black
mass on the mizz and Carmela Hayes kind of being like,
what the hell has this happened? And then Alistair Black
didn't even attack Carla Hayes, which was classy, which was cool,
and Carla Hayes kind of looks at it like, I,
you know, I feel like eventually he will step away
from the Miz. But you know, who knows, Charlotte Flair
comes out basically giving that you know, I'm the goat
of women's wrestling. I'm the greatest of all time. Pay

(15:28):
attention to me. Why are you so rude? Give me
the spec that I deserve her us I'm gonna leave.
You know, she's kind of you know, she's jumping into
that heel form once again. And this is honestly where
Charlotte Flair shines. This is when you know her as
a champion is great for WWE. Her as a baby
face champion, I you know, I don't really I don't
really want to see it. I feel like Triple H

(15:50):
obviously sees a lot of potential still in Charlotte Flair.
Triple H. We'll just face the Triple H had his
most success in WWE as a heel, and I feel
like that is portrayed also reciprocated through Charlotte Flair too, Like,
you know, as a babyface. Yeah, it's cool and all,
but you know, Charlotte as a heel holding the championship
has been more successful. So, you know, it was kind
of cool to see Charlotte, you know, embrace a little

(16:13):
bit of the hate that the WWE universe has ultimately
been shown to her once when she's a you know,
she made her comeback, won the war run with a
lot of fans, you know, you dictated through social media,
you know, through all the wrestling media basically being like, oh,
it was the wrong decision. Why did Charlotte Flair win?
And she's just kind of you know, she's just kind
of playing a part, and she's doing it pretty damn well. Next,

(16:33):
we have a tag team taged the Tag Team Champions
the Street Profits have a hard fought battle, but with
the Shocker not really a shocker. There's such a great
tag team. Nathan Fraser and Axiom defeat the Street Profits
in a non title match. Just gifted, absolutely gifted, one
thousand and ten percent. WWE SmackDown is a lot, uh,

(16:54):
you know, it's a lot better with Praxium. I thought
they were gonna go to Monday Night Raw to kind
of help fix the World Tag Team Championship division, you know,
on Netflix, and I feel like, you know, that should
have been, you know, should have been a more ideal
or maybe you know, before the WWE Draft you see
Phraxium just you know, beating all the SmackDown teams, and
then you know when they come to Raw, you know,
that's when they're gonna stake their claim and be like,

(17:15):
you know, we're gonna be tag team champions, and there'll
be way better marketable champions than this New than this
New New Day, which is you know, completely awful. It's
terrible obviously in my opinion, sign of respect from all
of these guys. You know, it's about wrestling, It's about
the tag team division, Fetter Street profits, you know, motor Study,

(17:37):
machine guns, even pretty deadly, you know, you know, d
I Y Los Garza, you literally had the tag team
division in shambles on SmackDown and on Raw. SmackDown fixed it.
The tag team division in SmackDown right now is absolutely
on fire with the addition of Nathan Frazier on Axiom
from NXT, so I'm definitely looking forward to more tag

(17:57):
team baction on SmackDown. Alexa Bliss. Alexa Bliss returns after
six I think it was six months, to help Selena Vega,
the WWE Women's United States Champion, defeat Piper Niven and
Chelsea Green, which was pretty cool. Loved absolutely can't get
enough of seeing Sister Abigail, you know, Sister Abigail DDT
on Alexa BLISZ, which is great for Alexa. You know,
Alex has always been kind of you know, she's been

(18:19):
you know, she's been small, not dogging her, nothing bad
about that. The Sister Abigail DDT. You can hit it
on like a person like Naya Jacks. You can hit
it on Rare Ripley, which is super cool because usually
finishing moves like you know, you look at Zelena Vega
as the code read she was trying to hit it
on Pipernivid wasn't really working out and then you know,

(18:40):
which kind of creates doubt and be like, how could
she win with do you know who did her? Venish her?
So she's gotta so she's always got to win by
a small package roll up or something like that. But
a cruciffects, you know, pin or something. But you know,
it's always good to see Alexa Bliss. It was kind
of cool how like, you know, she was shaking everybody's hands.
She's happy, she's having I feel like she's having fun

(19:01):
of where she's at right now, so you know, definitely
can't wait to see these two have more success on
WWE SmackDown. I feel like they'll stay even with the
draft and all that, they'll stay man of that time.
We have the tag team match between we had a
lot of tag team matches. We had a tag team
match the La Night and Damien Priest take on Jacob
Fat two and Solo Sick co You know, the l

(19:26):
A Night Damian Priest can't really co exist and that's
not really much of a surprise till anybody, you know,
you have a you know, these two top baby faces
in w W E they like their in their mouths.
They like to you know, seem dominant and strong against
and everything. You know, they think they're all that in
a bag of chips. But the w W universe, I
gotta be honest, they're warming up to Jacob Batoo, which

(19:47):
is definitely one thousand percent what you know, what needs
to be done. You know, Soloskova did so much for
Roman reigns when he returned on you know at SummerSlam
last year, you know, basically turned Roman into a baby face.
You know, based on Solo so CoA being the complete
you know DDA, you know, and just being so like,
oh like over zealous, but it seems like we are.

(20:09):
I feel like we are eventually going to get you know,
Jacob Fattu on solo Soakoba going one on one, Jr.
McIntyre obviously coming out on top before their match at Backlash,
which we're gonna talk about right now. So now, without
further ado, we're gonna take a short break first, So
grab your favorite snack, grab your Frivbit black School beverage.
You joined me here in about twenty five seconds, so

(20:29):
they do not go absolutely anywhere.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I feel like I'm losing by everybody in the wild Bye,
Please Lord give me.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Us sie a side. I'll still like.

Speaker 2 (20:48):

one day I blow.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Up from the basement statement. The top is so baking,
I don't even ship that. I think is amazing, Waiting
for my day when I'm playing sold down shoulds for
a thousand faces? Hey give me that crown keeping my
way in to be put down, hitting your placed on
this my town. If I want that ship that don't
get it right now, I'm losing it. The noose and
fits the loosy shit a stupid myth. You choose to live,

(21:25):
your grip and lose a gift all.

Speaker 2 (21:28):

any pm Pacific time. I live at PM Eastern time,
usually around a PM. Got to be honest, you know,
you know it seems like whenever you know, there's like
I'm dying to get online, like something happens where the internet, Like,

(22:14):
oh I have such living it's other California sucks, you know.
I got also got a text today that like ol Verizon,
well there's gonna be power outages, so there's a disruption
within your service. Don't get upset, like you know what
I mean? Basically you know the gist of it. But
you know, all in on California beautiful, but weather affects everything.

(22:34):
It's crazy. It's other too hot, it's too windy as hell,
like you know. But you know, Disneyland is like two
hours away, which is pretty cool for me and my kids.
Not actually no, not really, that's bad for my wallet,
you know, I'm just kidding. All moving on, it's all
about the kids. It's all about the kids, all right.

(24:23):
is the strongest wrestling podcast in the world. All right,
So without further ado, let's go and talk about Let's
go and talk about some backlash WWE backlash. Pretty bad ass.
Can't really you know, not really complain about anything that happened.
What happened was exactly what a lot of people, you know,
what was gonna happen. And for the last time, one
last time, Randy Orton taking taking on John Sena, the

(24:50):
WWE champion, John Cena, you know, and his name is
John Cena. So this this match was, uh, it was interesting.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
You know.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
We he got you know, we got referee, we got
three referee bumps, you know, which is crazy. You know,
we got you know, finishers after finishers. We had Randy
Orton trying to break the table on John Cena. Didn't
break John. Randy Orton looked a little frustrated, so we
brought out an actual table and aaid John Cena through
and he was like, all right, cool, We're good now. No,

(25:19):
but you know, this match, it was exactly what we
thought it was going to be. You know, John Cena
weaseling his way to another victory, you know, being the heel,
coming out with the last time, wearing the belt backwards
and you know, you saw it through this match that
this was a nice little story to be told. This
was a nice little version of John Cena that a
lot of people really kind of thought this storyline wouldn't

(25:42):
really work. You know, when he was doing the five
knuckle shall Free, he went around there, you know, he
was looking at the fans, he said, you can't see me,
and everybody in their head, everybody subconsciously based on the
imprint that John Cena left when they were young wrestling fans.
You know, when John Cena back in two thousand and
back during you know, during the Rootless Aggression era where
we couldn't help but to just explode in celebration for

(26:05):
Johnson and be you know, just being John Cena fans
and like you kind of see yourself nowadays when it happens,
you kind of see yourself like, oh my god, and
you're like, oh wait a minute, he's not you know,
he's not the John Cena we used to you know
that we used to know. So you know, but it's
that's that's storytelling. That's great, that's something that you know,
w w ee. I feel like ultimately John Cena will

(26:29):
have a redemption story after all this I feel like
he will, you know, he'll get his you know, maybe
he'll have that version where he's kind of thinking to himself,
He's like, all right, like maybe from what I've been
told or maybe I've been brainwashed, I was wrong. And
then you know, then the Rock, you know, turns on him,
and then you know, steals the belt. I thought ultimately
he was going to give the Rock the belt to

(26:49):
begin with. But we're getting this retirement tour fully with
Johnsena holding the WWE Championship, still no confrontation within Cody Roads.
I kind of thought Cody Roads was going to come
out at the end of the match where you kind
of had Johnson is just talking the mess. But then
of course you saw that AA hit and then then
out of the out of the corner, out of that stude,

(27:10):
oh god, out of the corner. You saw the referee
just come in and I was like, dude, you gotta
be kidding me. During this whole time, you've just been
on the floor. And then then once when Johnson hits
the AA, you know, I was like, dude, I thought
the match was actually going to extend. But crawling up
from I think it was the right corner you know,
you saw the referee just like come inside and you're like, great, dude,

(27:33):
Oh it was a you know, but it is what
it is. That's exactly what you know, w WE playing
on our you know, playing on our emotions, you know,
playing the heart strings a little bit. So this match
obviously was was exactly what was supposed what's what it
was supposed to be. Randy Areton looked strong the whole time,
through the through the match, through all the promos. Didn't
want to make him look weak. He gets screwed out

(27:56):
of the w WE Championship, be coming a fifteen time champion,
and you know, this is a great way of not
of not having Johnson to drop the belt to Randy Orton,
which you know, Randy Oran's over right now. The fans,
everybody loves this new you know, nice guy Randy Orton.
I feel like he will retire as a baby face.
I don't think a heel run is like kind of
in his uh it's not in his blood right now.

(28:17):
But then again, WWE nowadays, you know, you don't really
have your traditional heels. You know, you do get your
heels like on Monday Night Raw and Paul Haymon was
like you know, you shut your mouth and when you're talking,
when I'm talking or something like that. Like, you know,
it's cool to cater to the fans, but most of
the time, you know, you're seeing that with this Drew
McIntire character as well, where you're not really necessarily calling

(28:38):
the fans dumb or you know, oh, this is a
trash town, like you know what I mean, not really
like that. I feel like, you know, WWE nowadays, within
the Triple H Palyvic era, he's lending a lot of
the w w E stars, you know, kind of dictate
their own characters, which has been which has been great. Fans.
You know, they're cheering for Live Morgaron, they're cheering for
Dominic Mysterio, and and they're having fun, which is the

(29:02):
you know, most important part. Speaking of Dominic Masterio, the
w W Intercontinental Championship match between Penta Tangle Stan All,
I gotta be honest. I love Panta. I you know,
since he came to w WE. My overall first take.
I you know, I think I did a video about it.
Do not watch that video. I was completely wrong. I

(29:22):
kind of wanted him to come in as like a
dark bluch door attacking Ray Mysterio being so dominant. But
he's exactly he's perfect just the way he is right now.
But you know, this match, you know, Dominic Masterira was
going to retain love Pansa. He was essentially against four guys.
I think that's what Michael Cole said. He's like, oh,
come on, Pat, he's against four guys. What she was,

(29:43):
you know, what she was once again, doesn't make Pensa,
you know, weak losing, you know, but it was nice
that Dominic Masterira got a lot of positive affirmation from
the fans. I feel like he right now is loving this.
He's he's deserved it. You gotta remember once when Eddie
Guerrero started in professional wrestling, he wasn't the most liked guy.

(30:04):
He would do things like what Dominic Mysterio is doing.
And you know, he's not all that fast, he's not
all that good looking with that mullet, but all in all,
he knows how to wrestle. He's been around professional wrestling
his whole entire life. He is literally the you know,
the future. He's the very Mysterio son, you know, and

(30:25):
you know he's he's a legacy. He's a legacy and
he's gonna be successful in WWE. I kind of always
kind of griped on the fact that it was gonna
be because his be because of his dad. I knew
that Dominic Mysteria either needed a money and to bring
briefcase to achieve his first championship or hold on to
the w W Intercontinental Championship, which is you know, perfect,
which is exactly what you know, which which which is

(30:48):
kind of what he needs to kind of take him
over the top here. So, you know, retaining thanks to
a little bit of help from Grande Americano, Dominic Mysterio
is still your WWE Intercontinental Champion. Pat McAfee. This match was.
I liked it. It was cool, you know, Michael Cole
getting involved being no, I'm not gonna be by I'm
gonna be absolutely biased. You know, Gunther's a good there's

(31:09):
a bully, but I gotta be really honest. I love
the way this match ended, you know, being absolutely ruthless.
Inside of the ring, Gunther was being just being just
the you know, being just the pest, being evil, being demonic,
you know, attacking Pat McAfee. Pat McAfee held his own.
So congratulations to Pat. One thousand percent. But it was, uh,
you know, it was cool to kind of see Gunther

(31:30):
offer you know, kind of solidarity at the end of
the match, being like, you know, kind of looked at
Hat and be like, you've prepared yourself. You you know,
I have respect for you, which is exactly what I
like about the Garret the character Gunther. I, you know,
don't really want to see him yelling at the fans
and stuff like that. That's not Gunther's style. Gunther's style is
you know, I'm dominant, I'm strong, I'm a worthy champion.

(31:53):
You either like me or you love me. I'm confident
as hell. That's just me. But you know, him kind
of talk. I think he did it last Monday night
wrong that he was you know, he was talking trash
to the fans, which is, you know, kind of stupid.
I don't really like it. Next, we have the w
WE Woman's inter Condinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and
Libra Valkyria. I loved this match. I thought it was great.

(32:14):
I you know, three man handles, slams. Libra Valkuria stays
in it and you know you can't help but to
you know, when Becky Lynch came back. I was, you know,
for me in my opinion, like her coming out and
being like, you know, oh, Bayley deserved it. Bailey deserved
this and that and the other. And you know, her
coming out with this new heel rant. I thought she

(32:37):
looked absolutely she looked you know, it was a it
was a lebomination. It was terrible, and I was like,
WWE is seriously gonna just automatically just put the Intercontinental
Championship on this girl. You know it's gonna you know,
it's gonna drive me nuts. The ego of Becky Lynch
once again. You know, bexploded in the world of professional wrestling,
but we got. Honestly, I like the way this match ended.

(32:58):
I feel like Becky Lynch she knows what w W E.
You know, she knows what WWE needs. I bet you there.
You know, either it was Michael Hayes or you know,
Con backstage or Pritchard. You know, someone was yapping to
be like, oh, Becky needs to be the w W
Intercontinental Women's Champion, she needs to be at It's for
the best, and then Becky Lynch probably set him down

(33:19):
and set them straight, be like, no, no, it's not
my time you know, it's it's Livra time. We need
to make this belt prestigious and this match. You know,
before this match and before, you know, the promos between
Becky and the liber Valcaria about two weeks ago, you know,
the Women's mid card title, the Interconndent Championship, any United
States Championship, they both looked like they were in absolute trouble,

(33:39):
you know, not so much inter Continental. Now this match
has changed so much, and this feud, it's gonna go on.
It's gonna go on. You know, Becky's gonna once again
challenge you'll have with Valkaria, and she's gonna do it
right Sermersland. That's when she's gonna, you know, probably take
the belt off of Labra Valkaria. But it was the
best move for Labram. Becky knows that she knows overall
the bus this perspective of w w E and almost importantly,

(34:02):
she's from the perspective of a fan. You know, she
was once a fan of wrestling, and I was happy
that Becky Lynch did not let the fans get duped
during this match, so it was kind of cool. You know.
Becky Lynch obviously is you know, bummed out and you
know still you know, playing that reheel role, beating the
holy hell out of Lyra Vaccaria. After the match, Lyra
in the middle, you know, she was kind of favorite

(34:24):
her eye throughout the match. I was like, holy, like
holy crap. I think she actually heard her eye. That's crazy.
But you know, you know, congratulations to Libra Rouck here.
She honestly deserved it. She did not deserve to, you know,
to have the belt taken off of her from Becky Lynch,
you know, so so early within their feud. So I
love the way it ended. I thought it was pretty cool.
Congratulations to both Becky and Libra val Curia for one

(34:46):
hell of a pl e. So, you know, super cool,
super awesome. Definitely like it. I love it. So yeah,
give me your thoughts on your back on the back lash.
Tell me, uh, you know, tell me, you know, who
do you think should have, you know, take the belt
off of Live of Valkiri? If not, you know, I
fun anybody, maybe Roxam Fez. That'd be crazy, that'd be
pretty cool for Roxham. All right, guy, So hey, do

(35:06):
not go anywhere. Speaking of the women's division, We're gonna
talk about the tag ting division. Maybe it's dead, perhaps
it's cursed. Something is wrong, and we're gonna dig on
into it. So grab your favorite snack, grab your favorite
Axcoe beverage. You joined me here in about fifteen seconds,
so hey, do not go anywhere.

Oh, run and we are back with the GSMC Wrestling
Laureate podcasts were brought to with the GSMC Sports Network.
I'm your favorite wrestling fan Here, Eric Gredriguez live every

(36:50):
all the action inside and out. We talk about Superstar,
you know, an active statuses, injury updates, contract negotiations, extensions
and do signings. Also some releases from Front Promotions, Live News,
my Professional Wrestling, AEW, Ring of Honor, TNA, WWE, NXT,
you know, you name it. If it makes major news
in the world of professional wrestling, we dissected, we analyze it,

(37:10):
We talked about it here on this podcast, Ony and
ten percent. So definitely do you not miss it. Be
a part of the movement, Be a part of the
revolution that is the GSNC Sports Network. All right, without
further ado, we're gonna talk about the women's tag team titles.
Is it cursed? Is the division? Is it dead? Is

(37:31):
it just damn near struggling. I gotta be honest, I'm
not you know, recently in WWE, this these tag team
belts honestly are meaningless like it was. It's it's it's bad,
it's it's getting bad, and you know, starting from what
it kind of used to be. You know, it's kind
of funny that the WWE needed women's World tag team
titles for such a long time, they needed the WWE

(37:53):
Women's Intercontinental Championship, and then the moment they finally did it,
it was like, ah little, you know, too little, too late.
I feel like, you know, but you know, better late
than never, I guess. Is the philosophy in terms of
you know, the women's division in WWE, uh, you know,
also in terms of you know, you know, Luce Libre
and some of the luchadors that you know came to
w WE ultimately to kind of be exploited stereotypically. But

(38:17):
you know, now now nowadays, you know, we're seeing you know,
top tier stars finally get the recognition of the respect
they deserve. So you know, you've seen this tack team division.
You know, you've seen actually tag team tag team wrestlers
win it. Like you know, you kind of see the
iconics like you know what I mean, you had Bailey,
Sasha Banks, you know, Borderline, you know, this is something

(38:37):
that I hate about tag team wrestling in WWE when
they win it, like you know, like Kevin Owens and
Sandy Zany, dethroning the USO's like you know, two main eventters,
two main stars, single stars winning tag team gold is
not tag team wrestling, and it's it's bad. It's bad.
One thousand and ten percent. You know, if the tag
team division should be tag team division? Like, who all

(39:00):
forgot how awesome this tag team was? Did it really
last long? You know, nothing against Ronder Rowsey. Wasn't a
huge Ronda Rowsey guy, you know, but I do have
a lot of love and respect for Shannon Bazler. One
thousand eight ty percent. Let's just face it. Let's just
look reality in the eyes, guys. You know, the tag
team the dominant tag team run between Bianca bel Air
Jada Carbol once again to single Stars, destroyed the woman's

(39:22):
tag team division. It completely flipped it upside down. It,
you know, diminished all the competition, you know, to put
were you trying to put like just Jade over, you know,
were you trying to get her used to fighting in
WWE that she couldn't fight singles matches on her own
you know, you you kind of saw it with the
you know, with Naomi, she kind of does belong in
the tag team division as well. Definitely loved it when

(39:44):
her and Sasha Banks won it, and then they kind
of walked out of WWE based on you know, creative,
creative frustrations, especially within the women's division. And you know
a lot of credit has been given to Triple H
during this new Paulovc era, which you know by all
means it's all good round, am applause, dude, good John.
The women's division is still kind of seeming like it's

(40:06):
kind of reeling back to the way it was during
the Vince mc man era, like Circle twenty eighteen to
twenty twenty two, Like it's just I don't know, it's
just and you know, it just for me, I feel
like it's back cuddling. And you know, look at what
happened to WrestleMania. Whyri Vocuri and Bianca I'd be uh
and Becky Lynch defeat Live and Raquel just sort of

(40:31):
a night later, you drop the titles back, Like, how
seriously are we supposed to take these titles of stuff
like that is happening. It's crazy like the women's tag
team division is it's in trouble, It's it's cursed. These
tag team belts are literally just and it's you know,
so is it really Are we really at a point

(40:51):
where if you're not a main events or teaming up
with another main inventory, you will never ever hold the
women's World tag team titles? Is that really where we're
going right now? Is that what WWE should have done?
Because you know, you know, you have you know Alexa
Bliss and uh, you know Nicky Cross. You know, I

(41:11):
gotta be honest, I was a I was a fan
of that. You know, it sounds, you know, totally going
against my word, being a little hypocritical here, you know,
based on my my love for Alexa Bliss and Nickki Cross.
But but but I don't know, it just seems like,
you know, you see Live Morgan, former WWE World Women's Champion,
Bianca Butlla, former WWE champion, Macyl Rodriguez, NXC Chance like him, Jade,

(41:36):
it's it single star, single star, single star, single star
attack team, not really a tag team. Like it's cool,
like it's cool enough, but you know you're not a
tag team. Like it's on a chance in Kaden Carter,
you know you're not like that, You'll never be like that.
These are women who should be holding the tag team titles,
Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend should he holding Women's World

(42:02):
Tag Team Championship gold, but instead you release three girls
on this screen. And what are they gonna do with
Last Legend now that she you know she's gonna get
drafted obviously, you know, you had the metaphor breakup, which
was kind of cute and it was awesome, kind of
bring a tear to my eye. I don't want them

(42:23):
to destroy Last Legend if they do, if they fumble
on her character in WWE, I gotta be honest, I'm
gonna be so upset. I'll be pissed, be legitimately pissed.
It's gonna be crazy. And a lot of people believe that,
Oh girl factions, you know, it empowers them. You know,
if we did it once before, we have the Four
horse Women Charlotte Fair, Sasha Banks, Bailey, and Becky Lanch

(42:45):
and it was so damn good. But you know, look
at what's happening with a Fatal Influence right now, you know,
you know JCJ and achieving success in TNA also Jasmine
Nicks also fell in Henley. Like I ultimately do feel
like a lot of these superstars that were released in
the women's division in w w WE will wind up
in TENA and TNA will open up a mid card title.

(43:06):
That's obviously what I'm hoping for, because the Knockout's division
does seem like it does need at least, like at
least five more superstars within that division, you know, with
thus creating a mid card title, which would be pretty
bad ass. You know, look at Absolution, Mandy Rose, she
achieved you know, she achieved success, but ultimately kind of
got buried by w w WEE Sonya Deville never really

(43:28):
you know, never really seemed like she kind of got
into it. And obviously Soraya or Page getting you know,
having a you know, a back injury. You know, it's
you know, history is not really that good. PFC. I
had such high hopes for this faction. I thought it
was gonna bring the much deserving Zoe Stark and the amazing, talented,
gifted Shanna Basler the recognition they deserve. But it didn't

(43:50):
really come in fruition, and you know, it was a
stupid you know, it was a joke. You know, Sonya
Deville too. I was happy that Sonya Deville came back
to wrestle again, but ultimately to kind of get you know,
kind of like an egg on the face, you know,
got spin on face. Look at this other women's stable,
right squad, Sarah Logan Live Morgan, Live Morgan. Obviously you
know she did good things Ruby Riot as well. But

(44:11):
I'm kind of seeing a trend here, kind of seeing
a trend hero tag teams in w w E that
are actual tag teams in the women's division. They they get,
they get crapped on, they get they get released, then
signed back. They you know, a trash storyline where you
turn your back on your partner and then you know
you your singles run is an effing joke? Do you

(44:35):
do you not see the pattern here that's going down,
Like the two tag teams that are well deserving right
there on your screen, the Unholy Union Canning Carter, actual
taged women's tag team doesn't help, doesn't help damage control
is you know, I feel like he's an outlier. But
then again, Dakota Kai released Kyrie, saying Eosky's officially moved

(44:59):
into you know, single starred them when Oscar comes back.
It would be super shocking if she'd be like, oh,
I'm gonna give up, you know, because she's still young,
still talented, much potential. I'm gonna give up on my
WWE Women's World Tag Team Women's World Championship aspirations to
be in the tag team division, which, in reality, and

(45:22):
you've seen the evidence right now, is a bad idea.
Women in tag team stables doesn't really seem like it's
helping their career in WWE, in professional wrestling. You know,
I said it before. If you're not a Bianca bell Ayer,
if you're not a Jade Cargo in the women's division,
if you're not two main eventss holding the tag team titles,

(45:44):
ww W doesn't care. I don't think they care, and
they're they'll release you with the snap of their fingers,
and it's it's awful. So what are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do about a triple h Tell
me right now, tell me right now, Well, this is
what we're gonna do. I'm just kidding. No, that was
the bat triple age impression. But uh, you know, I

(46:06):
just hope that this division gets fixed, you know, and
we're gonna talk about it next. You know, we're gonna
talk about, you know, the releases of these WWE superstars
more more or less, you know the women, the women
that got released, you know, Jakhar Jackson, you know it's
it's gg Dowling once again with Tatum Paxley and Shatzi

(46:26):
Shotzy too, like a women faction that WW was like,
oh this will put this will propel them and make
them relevant within professional wrestling. Just the only get released,
you know, going after the tag team Championships, going after
the TEENA Knockouts Women's Tag Team Championships, and you know,
not really achieving, you know, not really being gifted the
respect they deserve. So we're gonna talk about the you know,

(46:48):
the recent releases in w W my reactions. So grab
your favorite snack, grab your favorit. High school Beverage joined
me hearing about like fifteen seconds, So hey, do not
go anywhere.

on YouTube and Twitch. So make sure you guys, superman
punch that lack of subscribe button to the show. We
talked about all the action inside and outside the ring,
all the backstage Curtin calls, all the rumors, all the dramas,

(48:07):
conspiracy theories that fans love to talk about. I do
love to talk about theories. Hell yeah. We talk about
you know, superstar and active statuses, injury updates, contract negotiations,
extensions and new signings. Also releases which we're gonna talk
about right now. We talked about w W D A
e W two, you know, Ring of hoan oor T
and a you know start Now, Nutriment Professional Wrestling, GCW,

(48:29):
Death Black Professional Wrestling. We talk about it here on
this show, So make sure you guys, you know, be
a part of the you know the Sports Revolution that
is the g s MC Sports Network. So without further ado,
you're gonna give you, guys, my reaction to the releases
of you know, a lot of WWE superstars. You know,
we saw this happen before, a huge wave of superstars
is being like, all right, hey, loyo. So you know,

(48:51):
a lot of good ones, a lot of good ones,
some some that do make sense. But every every woman
that was released in WWE, I gotta be honest, it
would it was a huge mistake. It was. It was
really bad. It was very, very bad. It was a
blood bath. It was crazy. A lot of these women's
wrestlers were like, oh my god, this girl's gonna be
this girl's gonna be incredible, you know, you know in

(49:11):
w w E and then just don't you know, find
out what happens at the end is just it's hard.
It's hard. It's really it's really really hard. Starting out
with Shatzi. You know, Shatzi when she came back to
w WE, she had a knee injury, and it was
you know that she came back to the NX scene,
she made a she paid dividends. You know, she was
entertaining to watch she still seemed like she you know,
was she didn't miss a step in professional wrestling. And

(49:33):
then you know, then rumors come out that she wasn't
training properly or you know, the you know, this is
a you know, this is not how a woman wrestlers
should be wrestling. And then SHOTSI kind of, you know,
it was it seemed like and if those rumors are correct,
like w W can actually be in a lot of trouble.
So I'm hoping that you know, that doesn't happen with

(49:53):
lawsuits and stuff like that. You know, no one wants
an ugly breakup, you know, But overall, Shotsy, it was
really shocking that she got released to go to Kai.
To go to Kai should have been a face, should
have been a WWE Woman's Intercontinental Champion. But you know,
there's been speculation that WWE was waiting for Becky Lynch
to come back so damn much to have this feud

(50:14):
with Livra Valkyria that you saw names like like Ivy
Nile like to go to Kaye suffer because it was like,
oh no, no, no, no, no, we can't take the
tide off of Libradas. Is you know, this is what
we're saving Becky for. This is what we want Becky for.
And you know, you saw these stars like suffer for it.
They you know, it's like the what is it the
middle what is it called middle child syndrome where you

(50:35):
don't get the attention you deserve then you turn you know,
it turns out, you know, something bad happens, and you know,
to Quota Kai getting released and she would have been
such a great face as the mid card title holder.
I don't think she's fully done with w w WEE.
I really honestly don't. I know, she does host her
own podcast, she does stream on Twitch, so you know
she's still doing her own thing. You know she's gonna

(50:56):
be success successful outside of w w WEE without a doubt.
So but I really honestly hope that she comes back
next we have Gallas. This is kind of a move
that made sense to me. They have not really kind
of been on w I think the last time I
saw on WWE was was Evolved. I think they came
to a volved We're not too short, don't quote me
on that, and then they made their stay in TNA.

(51:17):
It's just you know, when they came back and you know,
they started attacking everybody. Everybody thought that they were going
to be you know that those then the next stable,
the next dominant stable to take over NXT. You know,
kind of like what Dark State is doing right now.
But then again, you know, based on the lemons that
we have in the press in the past, can you
judge what's gonna happen in the president Leaving a sour

(51:38):
taste in your mouth? Gallas didn't really you know, didn't
really live up to potential. Riley Osborne, you know, I
hate it. You know, you had Duke Cutson's contract expire.
You know, you still have Andrey chasing n XT. But
I feel like he's like right there within the next
w W layoffs. But then again, he did ultimately like
create chase you again. You know, I think a hail

(51:59):
I really honestly own hole. I hope that Theehal does
not get released because I love her work inside the ring.
I love Duke Cutton too. He was so bad ass.
Riley Osborne too. Riley Osborn, I feel like could be
a next division champion in TNA one thy ten percent.
So I'm only hoping that teen Aate's going to sign him,
much like they did with Indy Hartwells, So you know,

(52:20):
crossing my fingers for that, Like I said before, Gg Dowling,
you know, with Schatzi, with Tatam Paxley. The women's stables
in w WE does not hold success if you're not
two former champions tag teaming together and being a tag
team like and it makes no sense, no sense, because
the Women's World Tag Team title picture is just an
absolute disarray. It's awful, it's egregious, it's it's it's erroneous,

(52:45):
it's egregious, it's crazy, it's it's it's terrible, absolutely terrible,
it's it sucks. But you know Gigi only once again
was and she reads and she came back to Danny
Palmer recently being featured on a fall, you know, helping
out some of the young talent, and you know she
very talented. You know that first match she had where

(53:06):
she teamed up with and I can't think of her
name right now, and I feel kind of bad, Armstrong
something armstrong going up against Carly Bright and god, I
don't know why I want to call her now. I can't, no, no,
I can't think of it. It's gonna pop up randomly,
and I'm gonna yell at the screen and it's gonna
look bad. But yeah, no, she had one hell of

(53:28):
a match. I thought she was, you know, super athletic,
jumping off the top rope, hitting some awesome moves, and
it's been you know, Kendall Gray. Damn it, that's what
I It's Kendall Gray. But uh yeah. But overall, I
feel like she's you know, I feel like she's gonna
be great back in the independent circuits and she's gonna
kick ass or romentsa too. You know, there's been promises
that he was gonna shine and nivolve. Maybe he does

(53:50):
come back, like I said, a lot of these WWE releases,
maybe there's a little bit of a jump gun reaction
from the fans from a you know, wrestling media. But
I feel like he's also he's gonna get signed. He's
gonna be great. He's gonna be you know, he's going
to be exactly what his potential will live up to.
I feel like he's going to be a champion, like
I said, if he goes to TNA being part of
the X Division. The X Division in TNA seems like

(54:10):
it's been kind of it seems like it's been kind
of a little bit repetitive there because there they do
have the Digital Media Championship, but kind of have two
mid card titles there to kind of balance things out. So,
you know, I don't know where we'll see Ora, Mensa,
Hobby or Bernall. We all saw this one coming, you know,
not really being relevant in WWE inside the ring. You know,

(54:31):
your traditional wrestlers nowadays seems like they're not really you know,
they're not really successful. You kind of have to have
more of a you know, and I'm not dogging on
the guy. Obviously talented, you know, Eric, you going in
the ring and do what he does. I can't. I
can't do it. But yeah, no, like I said, respect,
absolute respect, one thousand and ten percent. But in terms

(54:53):
of modern day professional wrestling, I just feel like maybe
he doesn't got it. You know, Eddie Thwart to traditional
where he's stay on the ground, you know, the pounding
ground game. You know, you're kind of seeing it right
now in the TNA with with the system. You know,
the former taxing champions like the Myers and Edwards, you know,
them holding the tack Team Championships for that damn long

(55:14):
I thought was kind of stupid. I felt like, like
I said, more of a ground in pound game, slow,
not really fast. And you've seen WWE like you've seen
it with Nathan Fraser and Axiom holding the WWE NXT
Tack Team Championships for that long. It was because every
single time they came out, everybody, everybody was interested. Everybody
wanted to see the match, Everybody wanted to see what

(55:35):
they have to offer. You look at what the Street Profits.
You know, they propelled themselves to the top of the
SmackDown Tack Team division based on Montes for being electric,
D'Angelo Dawkins seeming like he should be in in that
natural ground and pound traditional wrestling game because of his
because of his size. He's jumping over top ropes, he's

(55:55):
doing backflips, he's you know, expanding his range a little bit,
and you know he goes balls to the wall, which
I feel like one thousand percent why the Street Profits
finally are getting the recognition to deserve braun Stroman. Braun Stroman,
what is it the NFL has like the Walter Payton
Man of the Year. This guy is literally amazing. You know,

(56:17):
I feel like he's not done with WWE. He's probably
gonna be backstage, working backstage. I feel like maybe he
might jump onto the bandwagon of this White Six. And
it's just crazy because you see all these wrestlers being
released and you're like, okay, and but everybody from the
White Six, you know, once they lost to the Final
Testament years ago, it feels like, you know, they're still

(56:38):
signed to WWE. Do you released one guy that a
lot of the fans love. A lot of the fans
could connect to braun Stroman. He's very prominent on social media,
you know, talking all these great things about professional wrestling
and the WWE universe, and you know, you kind of,
you know, you let him go. That's why I feel like,
you know, once again not jumping a gun here, I
feel like bron Struman will come back to WWE eventually.

(56:59):
Now getting back to releases that I absolutely I hate,
you know what, you know what really grinds my gears.
Shana Basler, a very talented, much deserving wrestler who should
have had a lot more, a lot more success in WWE.
And it's just, you know, it was a damn shame.
You know, there was this elimination chamber match. Can't really
pinpoint the exact year where she single handedly eliminated everybody,

(57:22):
you know, even big names like OSCA, like you know
what I mean, We're like, you know, one knee strike
like and she was absolutely dominant. And you know, Shana
Basler this is you know, they kind of they messed
up with Shana Basler. You know, they were very hot cold.
You know, they kind of had a you know, like
a bipolar approach on how should we handle Shana Basler.
She was either looking super dominant, kicking ass and looking

(57:44):
like she can be a WWEE champion women's champion for
like three years, or we'll have her drop matches and
look like a jobber, like and you can't have that,
you know, if the person doesn't have the sauce, I
get it. But SHANEA. Baiser had the sauce. You know.
One of the most successful wrestlers that transitioned from UFC

(58:05):
MMA to professional wrestling was Shanna Basler, and she did
she definitely you know, she deserves more. I you know,
want to see her come back. You know, I was
I was hoping for her and Jordan Grace match, which
have been super super awesome, but we won't get that,
you know, well, hopefully she can't. Like I said, I'm
not trying to jump the gun too much. I'm not
trying to express too much emotion. Next, we have Kora

(58:26):
Jaide Coora Jaide. You know, about a couple of weeks ago,
there was a speculation saying that you know, WWE body
shamed her and this and that and the other, and
like I said, if that's true, ww is gonna be
and you know, gonna be in trouble with like lawsuits
and stuff like that. But Kora Jade also, you know,

(58:47):
she was in w WE, you know, she was an NXC,
traveled to TNA, and she was you know, she was great.
She was great within her matchups, and you know, and
her alliance with Rox and Perez on her return, well's
pretty badass. Which makes me think that maybe we won't
see the end of cord Jaide. I feel like she
was ultimately released, but not released, you know once when
Rox and Perez makes her way up to the raw roster,

(59:10):
you know, I feel like there will be a revamp
of the Women's World Tag Team Division hopefully desperately needs it,
like yesterday, but if Rox and Perez doesn't propel herself
into the main event or like a singles mid card
woman's title on Raw. You know you're gonna see you know,
maybe courge Aid getting involved in her Rock sand Perez

(59:32):
you know, pursue the women's you know, World Tag Team Championships,
which you know we've seen that picture painted before. So
maybe that's you know, that's the reason why it's kind
of steering me away that you know, cour j Aid
might actually be gone from WWE. But ultimately, I just
you know, definitely gonna miss Cordiate. She added a different
kind of flavor. I ultimately thought, you know, she I
thought she was gonna kind of be like the like

(59:53):
a reincarnated reboot of Page. You know, she has you know,
the same you know rock star persona and her dress
scene and stuff like that, her outfits, and I you know,
I kind of thought that she was going to be
like a like a Page, you know, being drafted on
an era. But I think she's on her way to
independent wrestling circuits. I know, she's very prominent on social
media on Instagram, Twitter basically saying that hey, you know,

(01:00:15):
thirty more days until I you know, do this or
that and the other. So, you know, coming back to
dominating in the wrestling again, a ton of Chance, Kating
Carter absolute bumber man crazy. You know how the you know,
two girls who should be uh you know, Women's World
tack Team champions multiple times, with multiple you know, long
title runs, title reigns, you know the uh you know,

(01:00:38):
basically the definition of Women's World Tag Team Championship wrestling
get released and they are not women moral tag team champions.
They're like, it just doesn't make sense, you know, Like
I said, the women's World Tag Team division is an
absolute chambles. It's crazy right now. You know, that long
rain of terror that Jay Cargo and Bianca Bella had
destroyed so many tag teams definitely fed up a lot

(01:01:01):
of these women. You know, like look at the Unholy
Union is leadon and up a fire. Look at Kaden
Carter and Katana Chance, look at the metaphor girls. You know,
they all suffered at the hands of you know, two
single stars holding the Women's World Tag Team Champions, which
is an absolute abomination. It's crazy. Not blaming Biakabella and
Jade obviously, you know they're not you know, they're more

(01:01:22):
or less you know, they're they're wrestlers, their superstars. They're
not pulling the strings backstage, if you know what I'm saying.
But ultimately, so sad, so sad that these girls are ground.
Hopefully they come back. Jakara Jackson too, one of my
favorite wrestlers, you know her, you know, during this tag
team run with Last Legend Metaphour Girls, she took a
lot of the beatings during the match Man, and you know,

(01:01:43):
she didn't miss on her cues. There's a couple of
times where he had it seemed like she was ultimately
kind of a you know, kind of playing second fiddle
to like her her opponent were her opponent, like kind
of had to slow down the match a little bit.
But this is an example of someone who literally got
better and better and better and better only to be released.
And it's just it's just the damn shame. And she's
so gifted, she's so talented, and it sucks that sucks

(01:02:06):
that she's gone. Sucks that she's gone. She kind of
said that she was going to go toward like a
new persona after her WWE run, So you know, maybe
we might not get a Missus Jackson, you know, but
I definitely, you know, wish the best for all these
superstars who are released or who might come back to
WWE or find success within the independent wrestling circuits. The

(01:02:27):
game is different now. The game in terms of professional
wrestling is absolutely different. You can wrestle in it is
and be absolutely successful. So many options in professional wrestling
in this entertainment industry. So there's no doubt that these
people are gonna, you know, definitely bounce back on thousand percent.
So can't you know, kind of hope, you know, kind
of help with the wish for the best for a
lot of these awesome, amazing superstars. All right, without further ado,

(01:02:51):
our fifth and final segment, we're gonna talk a little
bit about ee W Dynamite Beach Break. We're gonna preview it.
So grab your favorite snack, grab your favoriteigh school of beverage,
you join me here. About twenty seconds, we do not
go anywhere, and we are back with the GSMC Wrestling

(01:04:22):
Loiate Podcast, brought to you with the GSMC Sports Network.
I'm your favorite wrestling fan of here, Eric Rodriguez, every
Monday night live on the GSMC Sports Network, the GSMC
Podcasting Network, streaming live on YouTube and Twitch. So make
sure you guys, Superman punched that like a subscribe button
to the show to get modifications, to get notifications when
we also publish new video content, and also make sure
you sound off in the comment section, tell us telling

(01:04:44):
us how you feel one thousand and percent we will
get back to you. So well, without further ado, we
got my fifth and final segment. Going to keep it
short here and over running always run past, you know,
just rambling, rambling on for hours and hours and hours.
We're gonna talk about aw my beach break. So we're

(01:05:04):
supposed to get an answer from Bobby Lashley in terms
of in terms of letting MJF in the Hurt Syndicate.
You know, it's never really seemed like this really storyline
seems like it really kind of belonged in the mjf's
locker room. If that, you know, if you get my
if you catch my drift, you know, NJF. He his
personality and where he shines in professional wrestling is in

(01:05:24):
him pandering begging you know, Montel for a you know,
for a job with the Hurt Syndicate or you know
that's not really MJF style. So is he really honestly
kind of doing it for a reason? Does he feel
like you know MVP will put him into a W
World attack, ae W World Championship potential or the picture.

(01:05:46):
You know it's possible, but that picture right now is
so stacked with everybody just itching and clawing to get
back at it. The only thing that really makes sense
here is a feud between you know, Bobby Lashley and MJF.
A match and a lot of fans honestly probably would
like to see rather than MJF joined this hurt syndicate,
which I kind of compare it to like Sammy Zane joining,

(01:06:08):
you know, the bloodline being the honorary oose or who knows,
maybe it's crazy, maybe NJF, you know, and Shelton Benjamin
and m v P turn on Bobby Lashley and then
that happens, which won't happen, but you know it's nice too.
Like I said, conspiracy theories fans would be wouldn't make
things a little interesting, being honest, but they're tag team champion,
so that's not gonna happen. My most likely you know

(01:06:32):
what I think will happen, and it probably won't happen
because I'm stupid. Uh Okay, So the HERT business is
looking for a third character. You know and the Hurt,
the heart Roll, the Hurt Say Syndicate, Sorry, you know,
is looking for a third piece to the puzzle. Cedric Alexander,
you know, used to be part of the Hurt business,
you know, and you know he's been you know, he's

(01:06:55):
he got released from WWE, you know, and they're like, oh, oh,
you know what, we actually foiled a third guy. And
then mjf' is like, what what do you mean? And
then bam, like the music hits and then Centric Alexander
comes out and then that's the you know guy to
the you know, and then you know, then Bobby Lack
Bobby Lashley gives this tag team title too to Alexander

(01:07:19):
to team up with Sean Benjamin to find an ae
W in the World Tag Team Division. That seemed like
that would be that'd be ultimately kind of the old
the overall goal, which in my opinion wouldn't make sense
because other than that, you know, Bobby Lashley needs to
be in the main event picture. He does the Hurt
Syndicate being a w World Tag Team Champions. It's cool
and all, it's good for them, but you know, I

(01:07:39):
want to see a lot of people are they expect
more from Bobby Lashley. They want to see Bobby Lashley
and more of those you know, seagulls competition, which will
you know, which will definitely you know, start with the
feud with m JF, which would be pretty bad ass.
Which would be I would honestly love to see that
instead of MJF, like I said, pulling the sammy'same, being
the honorary Ooz doing dirty work for the Hurt Syndicate

(01:08:01):
and them kind of being like, oh, that's so cool,
it's so funny. Look at him trying to beat up somebody.
That's awesome. We hurt people, We hurt people. We are people.
Sorry that kind of hurt. But I don't know if
this storyline is if it needs to make sense. I
kind of thought maybe Ricochet was going to get into it,
but I don't think that's you know, much of the

(01:08:24):
you know, much of the diagnostic. Now, next we have
Ricochet taking on Zach Gwen. Speaking of Ricochet, I want
to see Ricochet win. I want to start seeing you know,
his heel turn is. You know, it's cool and all,
but he looks like a high schooler with his backboards hat.
You know, do these little equips with these little insults
and the random laughs and stuff like that. Like it's

(01:08:46):
I love that Ricochet left at WWE. W W we
did nothing with this character, you know, ultimately wasted his talent.
And I agree with that a thousand percent. But he
comes to AEW, you know, and I feel like he's
more like a clown. He's more of an antagonist. Like
I would love to see him hold a championship. I
would love to see him hold you know, not the

(01:09:08):
Digital Media Championship, what's the ah God, the Ring of Honor,
the secondary, the TV champion, you know, and then television.
You know, it could work. You know, we got Death
before dishonor coming up. I think it's in July. You know,
maybe he finds a way to win the title. I
feel like Ricochet belongs in more of a more of
a mid card title picture, you know, going up against

(01:09:30):
the you know, Swarve Strickland in his first little stint
obviously didn't really do much for his his career in
a W because Swerve is over right now, everybody loves
Swarve Strickland in a W and you got to respect
what Swerve has done for AW Cody Rhodes, you know,
left the company said hey bye, see him punk didn't
like the backstage politics with the EVPs and I, you know,

(01:09:51):
I can kind of see it, and he was like, oh,
hey bye, you know, and then Samova Joe leaves to
the film. I think it was twisted Metal. I think
he was going off film. Brian Danielson on the verge
of retirement and uh, you know John Moxley as the
iw GP champion New Jampan Professional Wrestling not really being
featured on AW So he really honestly had so much

(01:10:13):
on his plate, had so much on his plate one
thousand and ten percent, and you know, and now then
you put him against the Ricochet and then Ricochet obviously
you know he's gonna lose. So you know, kind of
already started off on the wrong foot. Maybe it'll hold
justice and you know, become something better, but you know, hey,
what are we gonna do next? We have the ae

(01:10:34):
W ae W Women's World Championship eliminator time this Tony
Storm against Sky Blue versus question Mark versus question Mark.
So we have two people, I HM Women's tag team
almar eliminator match. Who makes the most sense to fight
at double er? Yeah, double or nothing? Double or nothing.

(01:10:56):
You know, question marks, question marks, question marks. I'm already
kind of thinking Mariah Man might make her way back
to AEW to kind of have a you know, a round.
I think it was around I think it'll be around three.
Maybe it might be could be wrong, don't quote me
on that. With the timeless Tony Storm, maybe we might
get no. I doubt we'll get any uh, you know,
we'll get any like surprise, like surprise surprise. I definitely

(01:11:19):
think maybe Meghan Bain will be a part of it.
It kind of makes sense for her to do so
because she's still very much in terms of the a
W Women's World Title Title division. She's you know, she's dominant,
she's up there. I feel, you know, she's a complete badass.
Dona Rosa obviously, you know, tag team with Tony Storm
recently on Dynamite. I don't really think she's gonna be

(01:11:40):
uh gonna be the other name, But I don't know.
It should be interesting. Every single time Tony Storm steps
inside the match or holds a mic, it's always a
you know, it's always super you know, it's always super entertainment.
So you know we're in for a surprise. Hang Man,
Adam Page with Will Osbury taking on Knoski, Takashna and
Josh Alexander of the don Khalitis Family. Obviously Josh Alexander's

(01:12:00):
you know, debut and AEW was spoiled from a Hangman
Adam Paige and now he's now he's tag teaming with
the guy he's gonna fight at Double or Nothing to
determine who will win the One Heart Cup champion the
owe Hart Cup, I don't even championship, No, it's not,
and who will get a title shot at all in Texas.
I feel like Hayman's gonna win that match against will Lostpray,

(01:12:24):
but I think it's gonna be how many we got
like two weeks? No, yeah, yeah, we got about two weeks.
We have about two weeks until until Double or Nothing,
So we're gonna start building up these guys hating each other.
I feel like that is ultimately what AEW needs to do.
This own Hard Cup match at Double or Nothing needs

(01:12:47):
to kind of be the Bee's knees needs to kind
of hold and jeopardize the entire future of the wrestling
careers of Osprey and Hangman Adam Page. So you know
this something needs to be done because right now it
still kind of seems like, uh, you know, on a
couple of Dynamo and you know recently on Dynamite you
had a hangman kind of a you know, tell the
fans I was in a real bad place this and

(01:13:08):
that and the other well lost bray kind of telling them,
looking them down the eyes like I've never I've never
fought you, Brove and you know we never had our
you know, so I feel like obviously somebody has to lose,
right I. There needs to be a little bit more meat,
a little bit more teeth with this, you know, with
this few that they have with this match. I like

(01:13:30):
the fact that maybe like two base two baby faces
going at it, you know, nice little, nice little handshake,
being like hey made the best man win would be
pretty badass. But when you insert the Don Callas family
and they look weak right now, you know, Fletcher loss,
Kenoski TAKESHNA, losing his aw International Championship against Kenny Omega,
and then you know, just losing an Owen Hard Cup,

(01:13:52):
like it's you know, they seems like they're kind of
taking a step back, so you know, I kind of
I see them building up a little bit more potential,
a little bit more momentum. Sorry, excuse me. They honestly
need this win more than the hangman at of Pajoe
wisper obviously in my opinion, one thousand and ten percent. Next,
we have the AW World Championship match. John Moxley defends
his title in a steel cage match against Samoa Joe.

(01:14:16):
Loves Samoa Joe. He is, you know, the Ops obviously
trios champions, you know, holding a world championship not in
his future. He's not gonna win. The only person that's
gonna be throwing John Moxley is at all in. Whoever
wins the own hard Cut basically could pencil their name
in for the new AW World Champion. But that's just
my opinion. I feel like Moxley, you know, we'll see

(01:14:39):
the Ops get into it. They recently introduced a Powerhouse Hobbs,
Powerhouse Hobbs into the gang. But this this uh the
Death Riders storyline. It's it's dying. It's getting a little dry.
A lot of the wrestling media, you know, not really
digging on in anymore. So there needs to be a
new flame. There needs to be a young, ambitious person

(01:15:02):
added to the group. And it's got to be Hook. Hooks.
Hooks got to join the Death Riders. I know, like
they're the one who took him out. But you know,
kind of the same thing with Wheeler Uta. It seems
like it kind of a you know, kind of paints
the overall perspective of how the Death Riders roll, be like, hey,
if you're not with us, you're against us. You know,
we'll help you do this and that and the other.
And I know this theory might sound bananas, like I said,

(01:15:24):
because they're the one who took out Hook, But Hook,
as it right now, doesn't really seem like he belongs
on the ops. And he's such a young his contract
is near in the end, I'm not too sure if
he's going to just ride it out with the Ops
and you know, test free agency once with his contract
expires from all of the wrestling. Maybe, you know, but
you can bet your ass if Hook joins the Death Riders,

(01:15:45):
it'll spice ings up. Even Tass said it. Tast said
to Tony Sivanni, was you know he said it? I
think it was Tony Siavanni. Where it was it was,
Oh my god, what's the other guy's name? I can't
think of the guys the mask damn it? Why am
I forgetting names today? Excalibur, ex Caliber. And then Taz
said on the you know, he said on the mic,

(01:16:05):
he said on the interviewing commentary, he was like, look,
you know, Hook's gonna come back and he's gonna do
what he's gotta do. He's gonna do what he thinks, uh,
you know what's best for him. And I heard that,
and I was like, all right, you know, you know
it's it wasn't like, Oh, Hook's gonna come back and
beat the holy hell of the death Writers and team
up with the Ops again. You know, he was ultimately

(01:16:25):
replaced with Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs is going to give up
one third of his Trios championship to Hook, you know,
be like, oh, hey here you win. Good job. No,
definitely not so you need a new storyline with Hook.
You know, I feel like it would be beneficial for
you know, the death Writer storyline for Hook, for aw
if you add a new edition of Hook, the cold hearted,

(01:16:47):
handsome devil, cold hearted definitely. You know, there's no thing.
There's no friends in professional wrestling, no friends whatsoever. And
then Hooked, you know, just creating eyellies with the Death Writers.
You know, I it just it seems like it makes sense,
seems like the most sense. Maybe he comes in and
so much with Joe, thinks that he's gonna help him,
and then bam, you know, Hook attacks him with Joe.

(01:17:10):
John Moxley retains the championship because you know, Pack is gone.
He's gonna be injured for quite some time, you know.
Claudio Casanoli, you know, I love him as a singles wrestler,
and I definitely feel like he is, you know, he's
championship material, but recently he's been kind of his character
kind of looks weak. He does lose often, but then

(01:17:30):
again he kind of wins often. He's like that, he's
like the ultimately like definition of like, you know, consistency.
I guess you can say consistent loser, consistent winner. I'm
just kidding, you know, but uh, I don't know. I
just feel like this Death Writer's storyline something needs to change,
you know, just a different you know, just a different
spin on it. And it would be interesting to see

(01:17:51):
you know, Hook join you know, join the join the
dark side. But yeah, who knows. Well, guys, thank you
