Speaker 1 (01:04):
Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome to an episode of the GSMC
Wrestling Laureate Podcast, brought to you by the GSMC Sports Network. Hey,
it's your favorite wrestling fan here. Hope you guys had
an amazing weekend and hope you guys had a great
time watching WWE Elimination Chamber. I gotta be honest, it's
probably one of the best WWE Elimination Chamber pay per views. Basically,
(01:26):
it's up there. It's up there when it comes to
you know, stand here. You know, great matches, great promos,
great wrestling inside the ring, awesome, awesome turn of events.
The unpredictability factor in terms of professional wrestling is automatically
like a huge like you know, thumbs up for the
W four. We're just wrestling fans in general. So I
had a good time watching that, and you know, watching
(01:48):
some you know, Ncuba basketball for the men's and the women's.
It is March as of today, it is March third,
of course, you know, awesome March madness. Come. You know,
we're gonna get the brackets pretty damn soon. I did
see that. I think it was South Carolina and Texas
about the coin flip for the first seed. I thought
that was pretty wild. It was pretty insane, Deebo Samuel
(02:09):
getting traded to the Washington Commanders. There's a you know,
the sports world is on fire. It always is. There's
always something to talk about, especially in terms of WWE,
in terms of you know, there was I guess there
was a boxing match too that one of the guys
took a knee and it was like, dude, like that's
an automatic, Like that's out of it, you get out.
I'm just kidding, no, but all in them, you know,
(02:29):
great sports. You know. Now we're gonna talk about some
professional wrestling, so thank you so much. Of course, our
first segment, we're gonna talk about SmackDown. You know, for
the SmackDown Review, I'm gonna try to talk about subjects
that are like not really like so much about like
you know, the elimination chamber, like Cody Rhoads and all
this other stuff, you know, because we're gonna talk about
it in our third segment, so make sure you stay
(02:50):
tuned for that. In our second segment, we got Monday
Night Raw talk. You know, I have not checked the
single thread of social media, have not watched a WWE
Monday Night Ross. I'm gonna go in there giving you
guys my blind predictions obviously if you guys watched it,
and if you guys just watch me Babylon and on
being wrong. You know, if you want to participate in
the chat, it's totally cool. Still can if you want
(03:10):
to provide some spoilers. I'm not really like, you know, oh,
you know that ruins it? You know, I can. I
can find out the results of you know, what happens
most of the time. That is actually how I used
to get my my WWE news on Saturdays and AEW
events as well, because I usually work Saturday nights. You know,
So this elimination chamber is actually pretty bad ass because
(03:31):
I actually got to sit down and watch the whole
damn thing, watch the pre show. It was sick. It
was pretty cool. But like I said, usually I work
eleven to seven. I check out. You know, you can't
help with the stumble Upon results. I try hard not too.
I try hard too hard not to, but I'm like, okay,
you know I can still watch those matches knowing that
this happened, that happened, you know, it doesn't really ruin
it for me. So so yeah, don't be you know
(03:54):
don't be shot. Drop your thoughts inside that chat. And
in our third segment, we're gonna talk aout elimination chamber.
Like I said, fourth segment, we got WWE n XT review,
We're gonna talk about what happened last last Tuesday. And
then our fifth and final segment. You know, like I said,
I was watching a lot of NC double A men's
and women's basketball. You know, I was watching the women's
(04:15):
and man, these girls like that last buzzer beat when
I wasn't a buzzer beater. It it was a long
three in overtime when Maryland picked up the victory, I
thought that was super cool. But anyways, I was watching
it and I was like, dude, like these girls are
amazing phenomenal athletes. And I was like, man, these girls
could be WWE superstars. And I was like, oh no,
I wonder what kind of WWE superstar could be. You know,
(04:36):
NC double A basketball worthy. So I did a little
bit of research and I constructed a women's a WWE
women's basketball fantasy team. You know, we're gonna give you guys,
my starting five, my bench in reserves, obviously, maybe a
couple of honorable mentions. So we're gonna get into some
fun obviously a nice little fun fifth segment to kind
of you know, drift you guys off. I'm only live
(04:58):
on Mondays sucks, but you know, still check out some
content Superman punch that like and subscribe button to the show,
to the network. All right, before we get into any
of the actions, just want to remind you, guys, if
you have a burning question or hot take in terms
of the world of professional wrestling, or just something you've
been dying to get off your chest. Here at the
GSMC Sports Network, we are all ears, just shows all
(05:20):
about keep the conversation lively, making sure you guys would
like your voice is part of the mix and hope
you share to drop your thoughts inside that chat. And
if you really want to make sure your comment question
it concern gets notice, go ahead and smash that dollar
signed there, which guarantees anything you put inside that checkbox
is going to be talked about and featured on the show. Plus,
it a great way to support the channel. Your super

(05:41):

do one thing is to make sure you guys consume
all the sports content that you love absolutely free free.
We're super grateful for each and every one of you
guys who joins us here daily on the GSMC Sports Networks.
So let's keep this party started. Let's you know, let's
(06:02):
get this party started. You know, send it those super
chats to those superstickers, because you guys are super awesome
and together we will make sure this is the best
wrestling podcast in media. And obviously the super Chat it's
not your thing. Go ahead and hit up that tips
and donations link. Tell me what you like, to me
what you don't like. Just remember the superman punch that
like a subscribe button to the show, Follow the show,
follow the network. Here at the GSMC Sports Network, we
(06:25):
do love a lot of peace, love and positivity one
thousand and ten percent. But in terms of talking sports,
it's inevitable. There's gonna be some disagreements, there's gonna be
some criticisms. It's all good. It's already water under the bridge.
It's all gravy, baby, don't even worry about it. Don't
be strate to drop your thoughts inside that chat, all right, So,
without f let pop that bad boy back on without
(06:45):
further ado. Let's talk about some w w shmackdown. It
was good. It was a good It was a good SmackDown.
Like you said, I'm gonna try to not so much
fixate around exactly like what happened in Elimination Chamber. So
we're gonna start out. Tris Stratus kicks off the show.
I thought it was pretty cool to see her in
her hometown of Toronto twenty five, twenty fifth year anniversary.
(07:05):
It was funny how she called out a dad in
the WWE universe talking about how generations and generations of
wrestling fans are being born still to this day, especially
with this launch of the Netflix era in WWE, and
so now it's kind of inevitable. WWE's blowing up. Kids
are gonna be into it, Adults are getting into it.
Even fans that once dabbled into professional wrestling, like oh,
(07:27):
you know, I grew up during the No Stone called
Steve Austin Triple h and then you know, once when
it got to like the Johnson A Ruthlets aggression era,
once with the Attitude era left and you know, the
the the diva started getting you know, started getting some
setting up, you know, some some some action that wasn't
you know, really like degrading. I guess you can say, uh,
(07:50):
but yeah, once when you know, girls started kicking ass,
taking names obviously you know, outside of the attitude air,
but you know the attitude of there was still some
pretty cool women's wrestlers for that. But you know, Trish
Stratus calls him out. He was like, yeah, because you
know she knows that during that time when he was
you know, probably a wrestling fan around the trist Stratus era,
he had you know, her poster up on the roll
(08:13):
up on the wall of her in high heels, you know,
on hands and knees. I thought it was kind of
funny how she called it out. Even the dad was
kind of he was participating in it. I thought it
was pretty cool. I thought it was pretty funny. And yeah,
she went on to say that this is her first
time that her kids are going to be able to
watch her wrestle, So I definitely feel that is super cool.
One thousand time percent. Chelsea Green Fellow, Canadian comes out
(08:35):
saying that she is representing the American people. People in
America are better obviously talking trash to her hometown Canadians
in Toronto, and I think, I feel like that's a
huge that's you know what Chelsea Green was kind of doing.
It was it was genius. It was genius because, you know,
playing off of, you know, what's happening politically, not going
to get into it, what happened with you know, the
(08:57):
NHL R Star Game about Canadians booing the USA national anthem,
and you know, the way that Chelsea Green was able
to kind of was kind of involve that in her
promo to manipulate the fans, and then she started talking
about hockey too, and it was just, I don't know,
it was just a great promo. I thought that was
a I thought that was super great. I thought that
(09:18):
was super cool. And you know, now then you had
a match between you know, Tiffany Shratton and and Tiffany
Shritton and Chelsea Green, which ultimately got interrupted because Candice
Lray and Naya Jacks get involved, but they were eventually
kind of ran out. I thought that was kind of cool.
Uy say, men's tournament for the title. I thought that
(09:40):
I liked that. I liked the aggressiveness by Nick all this.
It was a nice twist. You know, you would never
really saw this during the Vince McMann era. Definitely triple H.
Paulovec Is, you know, kind of spicing things up a
little bit, you know. Then we had a backstage promo
with the new young bloodline, Solo Soaka looking absolutely disgusted
(10:00):
as as of you know, Jacob Fatoo and Tamatoga as well.
It seems like these three guys really are never going
to see eye to eye. They're never gonna be a
cohesive unit ever. Again in w W WEE, you know,
Solo so Colo was chosen to be in the tournament,
but then he said he wanted to give it to
Jacob to kind of rep the family because I want
(10:23):
to show you that I love you, Jacob, I love you.
So Andrade took on Jacob Fatoo and it was a
great match. It was a great match. I was I
was kind of pulling for Andrade to be the final three,
you know, I was kind of hoping maybe him instead
of Carmelo. You know, I do love Carmelo and he's
going on, but Andrade just looks more impressive every single
time he steps inside that ring, and I don't want
(10:43):
the same thing to happen to him. What happened his
first stunt in WWE, when he made it back, well,
when he got called up from WW and exceed and
they knew what they didn't know what to do with him,
lost the talent. He had to go down to ae W.
You know, he kicked ass over there for a little bit.
But then storylines, you know, orings, you know, started to
grow a little tiresome, a little bit a little stale.
(11:05):
So Andreida decided to come back to WWE. Him marrying
Charlotte Flair potentially might have something to do with it.
But you know, according to reports, I guess they're yes,
they're legally split up. I'm maybe divorced, not too sure.
Don't want to you know, don't want to say anything
that's inaccurate because that's a you know, in terms of
relationships as a pretty touchy subject. So so I want
(11:27):
to see ANDREDI do better. I want to see him.
I want to see him as a United States champion.
He would represent the titles, super cool. All of his matches,
like I said, are absolutely must to see. But we
had Jacob Fattu pick up the victory and move on
in the tournament. We got the street profits taking on
those Gars a match that didn't ever take place. D
I y comes out to attack the Street Profits loads
(11:48):
Garza then start to attack d I Why pretty Deadly,
get mixed up, you know, get mixed up in the mix,
and then you see the MotorCity machine Guns and it
was just it was crazy. Then Low Scars up back
onto it. I feel you know, I thought they were
gonna come out on top and clean house. But you know,
then you started getting security involved and these see, these
(12:09):
five teams are going at it, and you know, I
like it because I feel like the WWE SmackDown Tag
Team division has been you know, kind of lacklustery within
the past couple of months. So I like how they're
establishing this uh you know, pretty Deadly no longer a joke,
lost guard zone, no longer smash match participants, MotorCity machine
Guns coming to WWE. Like I said, I feel like that,
(12:32):
you know, rejuvenated the tag team division, the Street Profits
finally getting some love TV time. I hope they win
the championships. You know, I say this over and over again.
I'd love DiAngelo Dawkins loves montese Ford. I feel like
montese Ford could be a future WWE champion with the
right bookings. And then you know d I Y. You know,
Johnny Gargano, Tomaso Champa, they're better together. They fought each
(12:55):
other before, like an unsanctioned matches and stuff like that.
So you know, I like the you know, I like
to put like a gold star on DIY because you know,
they kind of played into it too. You know, they
turned heel the DIY babyface wasn't really it was working.
But I feel like they are more of a threat.
They are more of just antagonistic. They're more of They're
(13:20):
more of an aggressive team now. You know, they're not
afraid to cheats, just send the truth a little bit,
maybe do some things behind the referees back, you know,
kind of causing a little bit of a stir between
the fins. No, I you know, I like it. Definitely
turning pretty deadly. Babyface too was pretty cool. Low scars
(13:40):
not really a babyface, but you know it say with
the street profits. I feel like they're right there, stuck
in the middle, but overall good promo. Next we had
another promom, Drew McIntyre coming out talking John Cena and
his giant ass bald spot that has its own gravitational pull.
But he said something like that, like that was insane.
I gotta be honest. I laughed during that. Hopefully I
(14:01):
don't get, you know, bad karma for laughing because I'm like, no, no, what,
I wouldn't hate, Oh god, that bald man for ever bald.
I would go full bald Man. I would go like
stone cold Steve Austin, you know, all the way. No
imagine like it gone. Oh god, I don't want to
talk about it. I don't want to talk about it,
so so uh anyways, moving on politically, I kind of
(14:25):
liked how Drew McIntyre was like, you know, John Cena,
you've been holding people back for years, kind of alluding
to once when Drew McIntyre was first introduced in w WE,
superstars like him and other uprising stars, John Cena would
refuse to put him over because he wanted to be
obviously you know, job security. You wanted me to face
of w WE. So you know, I thought that was
(14:47):
actually pretty pretty badass. I thought that was you know,
got you know, he wanted to make it personal, you know,
and then you know, because back then w John Cena
had a bad reputation of burying young talent, so he
looked BA better. And then the last thing Drew mcatary
said about John Cena was he says, I will bury
you once again, kind of alluding to what happened in
(15:07):
the past. But yeah, no, it was it was cool.
I love Dream McIntire whenever he talks. Then he saw
Dannian Prize come out, then Seth, then see him punk
calling Seth rawlins. Another mitton was pretty bun. That was
pretty It was pretty funny. Well overall great promo. I
liked how Logan Paul came out with the John Cena
theme song. I thought that was great. You know. I
love how Logan Paul is becoming more involved into WWE
(15:31):
storylines instead of just coming once in a while. I
didn't really like how WWE had him defend his United
States Championship minimally. You know, I thought he should have
been on the show over and over again. You know,
during an interview with Michael Cole obviously his podcast Impulsive,
he was saying he was getting some some some get
(15:52):
out of town heat or go home heat. That a
lot of WWE universe, you know, they you know, they
judge Logan Paul, They don't really liked the way he's
perceived in WWE, to perceive him and his brother as like,
you know, these guys that made it into an industry
based on you know, popularity, based on publicity, based on
you know, likes and subscribes and you know, basically digital media,
(16:15):
you know, social media and stuff like that. But uh,
you know, Logan fall inside the ring. I gotta be honest,
he's good, he's great. You know, I can't really you know,
I can't really attest to that. I can't really you know,
say that he has gum Home go Home heat or
anything like that. But I do feel like if WWE
wanted to make Logan Paul more of a more of
(16:37):
an asset, not really an asset, that's not the right
word to be taken seriously by the WWE universe, maybe
he should have been you know, broadcasting on live TV,
maybe more often than not. You know, he had these
little promos where he was shooting with the La Knight.
So far, in every feud he's had, he's kind of
been the heel. I feel like he's only been the heel.
(16:59):
But he did fight Roman that Crown jewel, and I
think that was once when Roman Reigns. You know, the
bloodline was was, you know, at its upmost like top
tier up on the Gestapo, you know, King of the
Heat and King of the Ring, king of the Hill,
whatever you guys want to call it. And so then
Logan Paul fought Roman Reigns and a lot of people
(17:19):
were like, oh my god, he can actually do it.
And maybe just slightly maybe people were like maybe they
were rooting for him, maybe they were maybe they weren't
all right, and the rapid fire wrapping this segment up,
the La Night defeats Santo's Escobar to make it into
the Triple Threat match. Carmelo Hayes pools and Eddie Guerrero
throws a chair at braun Stroman falls down. Referee turns
(17:41):
around calls the DQ. So I thought that was pretty cool.
La Night defeats Jacob Fatoo and Carmela Lays in that
triple threat match that determined the number one contender for
the ww United States Championship against Shinz Gay Nakamura. In
the main event, we had Rox and Perez team up
would Live and Raquel, the three time WWE Women's World
(18:02):
Tag Team Champions, defeating Bailey and the former chance, Naomi
and Bianca. It was a good match rox and Perez,
you know, with the pop rocks right there, then of
course you know you had you know, she pinned Bailey.
I thought, you know, overall, she pinned Bailey. I thought
that was pretty badass. I thought that was pretty funny.
But we're not really funny because you know how Bailey
(18:23):
is perceived and nxt according to Roseanne and Roseanne, Roxane Perez.
So you know, like that, then you know, freaking Alexa
Blitz comes out hinting at a sister, you know, not
the sister Abbigail, hintsing at joining Uncle Howdie's crew hitting
that sister Abigail. I thought that was pretty cool all
in all, Like I said, it was a great episode
(18:44):
of SmackDown. This was the go home show before w
W Elimination Chamber. But all in all, I thought it
was pretty awesome. All right, guys, do not go anywhere.
We're gonna jump on into so WWE Monday Night Raw Talk.
So grab your favorite snack, grab your favorite ice called
beverage to joined me hearing about twenty five seconds, So hey,
do you not go anywhere.

the world are professional wrestling? We talked about it here
on this show. One thousand and ten percent. So make

and all your dreams will come true. Of course, if

one thousand and ten percent, but we want to make

you guys put it's at that chat box gonna be
(21:50):
featured Tomack talked about, maybe even debated about on this show. Plus,
it's a great way to support our channel. Obviously, we
have a lot of passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic podcasters who have
one goal in mind to make sure you guys consume
all the sports content that you guys love so damn much.
And guess what, it's absolutely free free, so you know,
(22:11):
show us a little love, hit up those super chats.
We are super grateful for each and every one of
you guys who joins us here daily on the GSMC
Sports Network. Your support makes all the difference. So let's
keep this party going. Send in those super chats to
those superstickers, because you guys are super awesome and together,
we will make sure this is the best wrestling podcast
in the world. Once again, to the super Chat, it's
(22:31):
not your thing, go ahead and hit up that tips
and donations link at the GSMC podcast dot net. Tell
me what you like to me but you don't like,
just remember to Superman punch that like a subscribe button
to the show, follow the show, followed the network here
the GSMC Sports Network. We do love a lot of peace,
love and positivity one thy ten percent, But in terms
of talking sports, it's inevitable. There's gonna be some disagreements.
(22:52):
There's gonna be some criticisms. It's all good. It's all wet,
it's already water under the bridge, it's all gravy. Baby,
don't even worry about it. Don't be shure to drop
your inside that chat. All right, without further do, we're
gonna talk about our next segment. We got some WWE
Monday Night Raw talk. Like I said, I have not
checked a single spread of social media, No TikTok, Facebook, Instagram,
none of that going in there giving you guys my
(23:13):
blind predictions about what's going to go on on WWE
Monday Night Raw. Obviously it's airing live right, Well, it
already aired live on the East coast five o'clock, but
you know, on the West coast it's you know, on
Netflix streaming. You could watch you know, you can watch
the replay. You know, sometimes I prefer watching it at
eight o'clock, you know, especially with this Netflix thing, how
(23:37):
you can you know, just kind of fast forward and
you know, I, you know, I like it. I think
it's pretty cool. So, without further ado, we got WWE
Monday Night road talk. What's gonna happen tonight in Buffalo,
New York. We have Ivy Nile taking on Lyra Valkyria
for the WWE Women's Dinner Continental Championship Match. Obviously, this
(23:58):
is Ivy nile second chance at it. She's she's hungry,
she's hungry, she wants to eat. But you know, I
feel like there might be somebody else that might get
that might get involved in the match. We had a
you know, a promo during the week with Selena Vega,
you know, basically saying that you know, she's you know,
she's ready to assume the role that she was destined
(24:18):
to be the represent her country and just kind of
be an overall bad ass. So I you know, it'd
be kind of cool to see this match at WrestleMania,
a triple threat match. Obviously, you saw these three girls
go at it in the first round to crown the
inaugural WWE Women's in Her Continental Champion, and the match
was good, It was great. All three these girls have
amazing chemistry together. You know, they kind of have the
(24:39):
same kind of have the same tendencies. I do, you
know Libry of voc Caurier, I do feel like kind
of has a leg up. She has a you know,
she's an NXT Woman's Champion. She's also she has a
high flying aerial attack. But nothing that I mean, I
can't do, you know. Obviously it's Lena Vega as well.
So I would love to see this match being made
(24:59):
at WrestleMania. Are we gonna get it? Not too short?
Is Lyra Valkia just going to take out Ivy Nile
tonight to call it, you know, to call the ballgame?
Who knows? Maybe maybe not. Obviously we are kind of
heading toward wrestle Mania. We had Bianca Belair. It's been
a it's been a rough couple of days for Bianca.
(25:21):
You know, obviously, you know what happened with you know,
with Jade and Naomi. It was it was really it
was crazy. You know. Bianca saw Jade come out, she
was slamming on the elimination chamber pot. She was happy,
she was ecstatic, and she thought she was gonna kick
the holy hell out of Live Morgan. And then she
went right after Naomi sent her to the hospital, sent
her out of the elimination chambers. So we only had
(25:42):
like five chicks. But it was it was cool, it
was great. You know, these these amazing competitors pulled it off.
But we're gonna find out, you know, Bianca Belair's you
know thoughts tonight, you know, especially heading toward the Woman's
World Heavyweight Championship match. Like I said, I really do.
I would love to see Ray and Beionca tear it
(26:04):
apart and uh, you know at WrestleMania. But Eo skuys
she's so damned she's so damn impressive, she's super impressive.
I would love to For me personally, I would love
to see this match, you know, kind of being interrupted.
I would love to see, you know, Bianca bel Air,
Raya Ripley, and Eo Sky intertriple threat match for the
(26:24):
w W Women's World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. I feel
like that would be that would like, you know, like
to steal the show kind of match, you know, I
hope it happens. I feel like that'd be pretty you know,
I feel super cool. We do have some bad news.
I guess The Rock is across seas. No John Cena,
excuse me, John Cena is across seas, you know, shooting
(26:45):
a movie, like a moving photo shoot or something like that.
So we're not gonna be able to find out any
words from Probably most likely we're not going to hear
anything from Cody Roads till like SmackDown. We're gonna you know,
not gonna hear from The Rock would sucks because I'm
too so broad and John Cena. But next week, w
W we know, I think it's two weeks, two weeks
(27:09):
I think it is. We're gonna get the European Tour
where John Cena is set to you know, be on
three straight Monday night ros obviously building up toward WrestleMania.
So hopefully we'll get some answers then. But you know,
they're gonna have a little waiting on pins and needles.
Guther Jay Usso. We're gonna see more of this, you know,
then going back and forth, you know, after what happened
(27:31):
in Elimination Chamber, I feel like these two gotta step
it up, you know, main event, jay Usso, you know,
everybody thought, you know, we're a rumble winner. We're gonna
you know, they're gonna fight in the main event Night two.
Not too sure of that anymore. Honestly, I do not know.
They might be a Night one kind of thing, which
would be cool, you know, obviously it's main event is
a main event, and I don't feel like Jay Usso
(27:53):
would be that upset about it. But I want to
see these guys tear each other apart, you know. I
want to see some blood. I want to see them.
They have obviously big shoes to fill, right with what
happened between the Rock, you know and Cody. Cody Road
is not selling his soul. So now we have Cody
Roads taking on John Cena in the main event at
WrestleMania for the WWE unders feed the Championship. Man, it's
(28:16):
hard to compete with that. It's hard to compete with that.
Jusso Gunther. I want to see them tear each other apart. More,
I want to see it get to the point where
j Uso is viewed as the underdog because a lot
of people, you know, according to the storyline, it is
he is the underdog, right, That's what it's supposed to be.
But the way how his momentum is, and the way
he the fans are you know, ultimately behind him, and
(28:38):
the way Gunther is like so like it feels like
even And like I said, maybe this might be a
you know, a predetermined notion because of their match at
WWE Saturday Night's main event, where Jusso was this close
of beating Gunther for that title and now they're going
to run it back at WrestleMania. So maybe that maybe
(28:58):
kind of poses a reason why. But like I said,
I feel like these guys have, you know, some big
shoes to fill in terms of promoting their main event
match at WrestleMania. We have We're gonna have a tag
team title match taking on the we have the war
Raiders taking on the Creed Brothers. I can't wait to
see this match. I feel like it's gonna be great.
I really, honestly don't find any kind of reason why
(29:21):
the war Raiders would drop the titles tonight to the
Creed Brothers, maybe maybe to kind of switch it up
heading toward WrestleMania season, because as of right now, the
war Radors just seem so dominant. There's not really any
other tag team besides like these two. Obviously you have
the LWO, you have the New Day, you have the
Alpha Academy. You don't really have any serious, like hardcore
(29:42):
like tag teams on Monday Night. Ra That's why I
kind of I thought, you know, Nathan Frazier and Axiom
we're going to be you know, during the transfer portal
end up on Monday and iraw. Obviously that did not happen,
But I don't know, it's you know, it's it's up
in the air obviously, but I am leading to the
war Raiders retaining here. Next we're gonna get some feedback.
(30:04):
We're gonna get some uh, we're gonna get a confrontation
between seth Rollins and Seampunk is going to get crazy.
Not too sure. Most likely it will be you know,
I you know, same stuff. You know, they'll probably attack
each other and then you know then the security guards
have to kind of you know, push them away from
each other. Well, we might see the rare siding of
Jason Jordan, you know, I do, and I don't wish
(30:28):
to kind of you know, I don't know, but you know,
they're building up their match at WrestleMania. Roman's gonna get
involved some way, somehow. We're gonna get a triple with
that match. At Mania forty one, we have the WWE
Women's Champions. Obviously, I don't know if they're gonna head
for a celebration, but you know, I feel like they will.
(30:49):
They'll They're gonna find their next competitors pretty soon. Here.
I feel like, WW kind of let it stew for
a little bit, you know, what's gonna happen with the
judgment day and not too sure, but you know, I'm
I'm kind of heading toward Oscar and Kyrie saying coming
back from injury together. The Kabuki Warriors will be put
in a position where they can be a babyface World
Tag Team Champions, you know, at WrestleMania, fighting live Morgan
(31:11):
and Raquel Rodriguez, because as of right now, I don't
really know the best team to kind of fight them
to kind of have to kind of have the tag
team Championship match kind of pop except the Koukbookie Warriors.
You know, maybe you know, kind of building up a
storyline between Live Raquel and the Kabuki Warriors might be
(31:32):
you know, it might take some time, but you know
you could have you know, at WrestleMania Night one or
Night two, like an open challenge for the Women's World
Tag Team Championships where you see Osca and Kyrie saying,
the Kobookie Warriors come back, and then obviously you know,
damage Control back together once again, and yeah, it'd be
(31:53):
a it'll be a big night. It'd be a big night.
Are we gonna keep getting this back and forth banter
between the Judgment Day? Are we really? Are we really?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
No?
Speaker 1 (32:01):
I Like, it's not that I'm you know, I'm a
maybe i am you know, I feel like at this
point the Judgment Day needs something new. It's a you know,
are they going to add another member? Not too sure?
Or will they ultimately implode if they do. If they
do add a new member, I thought it would be
pretty bad ass too, you know, kind of you know,
(32:22):
if Dominic Mysterio and Finn Balor h you know, Finn
Balor maybe eventually cas In and he's like, all right,
I want to see all right, I have the new
character picked out for the Judgment Day, but you have
to step into the ring with him and you know,
and face him. You know, see if he's Judgment Day
worthy and then bam out comes the Demon, Finn Balor
(32:43):
would be pretty bad ass. That'd be pretty that'd be
pretty interesting to see, you know. He you know, he
summons the Demon once again to do his dirty work,
takes out Dominic Mysterio and then they you know, then
they have a match between Finn Balor and Dominic Mystereo
at WrestleMania forty one. I feel like that'd be super cool. Well,
what's gonna happen with the w W inter Continental Title Division?
(33:03):
Obviously AJ Style wants it. What's gonna happen between these
three men? Pete Donn pensa Acidom. We also have a
little big Kaiser. What are gonna happen with these three
men as well? Are they gonna be implemented in the
Intercontinental Championship picture? I hope they do. I hope they
you know, I hope probably within the next couple of weeks,
Adam Pierce maybe holding a fatal four way match between
(33:25):
the four superstars. AJ Styles Pete Dunn, Penta and Loud
Big would be pretty bad ass that they would probably,
you know, tear the roof off the place. That'd be
pretty cool. All right, guys, without further ado, we're gonna
jump on into our next segment. We have WWE Elimination
Chambers reaction. So grab your favorite snack, grab your favorite
iigcechool a beverage. You joined me here in about twenty
five seconds, so hey, do not go anywhere.

So make sure you guys, superman punch that like a
subscribe so you get that notification. Go live eight pm
set a ten eleven pm Eastern time on the network,
so yeah, don't miss it. We talk about anything in
terms of you know, inactive statuses, injury updates, contract negotiations,
extensions and new signings among superstars. We talked about propoching
from WWETDEW two New German Professional Wrestling to basically anything
(35:31):
anything anything about wrestling, even kind of step back in
my time machine, talk about some ECW days, some good
old days during T and A. Also you know WCW
as well. You know, you know sometimes you know, bring
something out from the vault. It's pretty cool, pretty bad ass.
So make sure you guys superman punch that like a
subscribe button. All right, without further ado, we have WWE
(35:53):
elimination Chamber. Let's go ahead and talk about it. Obviously
it was. It was huge. One of the best elimination
chamber pay per views of my life, one of the
best pay per views ples in. You know, w WE history,
just a lot of action, a lot of action, a
lot of you know, leaving the world with you know
(36:16):
what if of what's gonna happen wrestle Mania A I
gotta be honest. A couple of days ago, not a
couple of days ago, a couple of weeks ago. It
seemed a little lackluster. You know, Charlotte Flair chose Tiffany Stratton,
loved Tiffany Stratton and everything, but I would have loved
to see Charlotte go up against Rea. And then you
had Jimmy Ussa randomly winning the you know, the War
(36:38):
of Rombo, and everybody's like, okay, we all know who's
who he's gonna choose. He chooses Gun therem not, you know,
not not much of a banger, not much of a surprise,
especially when we got this same match at w w
EE Saturday Night's main events. So you know, a lot
of you know what's gonna happen? And now after everything
that happened at Elimination Chamber. I gotta be honest, Damn
(37:01):
near couldn't save WrestleMania. You know, you know, I do
love WrestleMania, and there would never ever ever be a
be a predicament or a situation where I would never
watch WrestleMania.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
But you know I was.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
It was looking pretty min. It was looking pretty damn min.
So yeah, let's talk about it. Talk about w W
Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Canada. I think it was Scotia
Bank Arena. We have the women's Elimination Chamber match Bailey Roxanperez,
Naomi Bianca, Bela, Live Morgan and Alexa Bliss. Before the
(37:34):
match even got going, the bell rang and then lo
and behold the returning injured Jade Cargo coming out being
an absolute badass. I thought, you know, when she came
into the ring, it was a It was literally great.
It was great cinema, great storytelling, great cinematography, great acting
(37:55):
from you know, from Naomi from Live Morgan. Live Morgan
looked at it. She was like no, no, no, no, no,
like I didn't do it. I didn't do it because
she thought her time was up. And then if you
look at Naomi. Naomi, she looked she looked scared, she
looked shocked. She really honestly got kind of got caught.
You know, she got caught. She got caught. She did it,
(38:16):
She did it. Bianca Butler was inside the Elimination Chamber
pod banging. I don't know when it'll be like, yeah,
let's go, let's go. She's back and then all of
a sudden she attacks Naomi and then all hell breaks loose.
It was it was, like I said, it was amazing.
It was absolutely amazing amongst amongst everyone, all the women involved.
(38:36):
I loved how Lexa Bliss was inside the She was
inside the pod and she looked a little sad, and
I thought that was pretty funny.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
But no, it was.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
It was great. Obviously. Jade Cargo coming back into the
WWE you know, she is, she's, she's, she's she's ready
to kick some ass. She's ready to kick some ass.
We've been waiting for this, you know, we've been waiting
for this forever. You know, we were just being held
on by a thread thinking about what's gonna happen with Jade.
(39:08):
Is this is this promo or whatever it's gonna take
going to be a little lackluster, but I feel like
it was. I feel like it was great. Social media obviously,
Jade Cargo took the social media after, you know, after
what happened Elimination Chamber and had this to say, and
I quote, there were wolves in the shape of women
all around me. I can see the way they look
into my eyes. I am not them and they are
(39:30):
not me. Whethered I've wather. I weathered every storm that
was meant to break me. I whethered, every storm that
was meant to I read that over again. You can't
help but to but to talk about me. I saw
the look in your eyes as soon as I walked
in the door, mapping out how to send me to
(39:51):
my demise. My presence makes you question yourself. I've let
others block my destiny for legacy, people hiding their inc
hear these behind big smiles and hugs, trying to knock
me for simply being me, looking like God carved me
out of marvel. They wanted me to hide of that
I'm blessed, and they demanded proof I belong, as if
(40:14):
my scars were enough, losing my mother while being a mother,
carrying the weight of being a mother, all while still thriving.
You don't have to like me, but you will respect me.
I'm here because I've earned it, every scar, every loss,
every step. I will not strike myself for anyone. Don't
(40:35):
mistake in my grace for weakness. I played by the
roles long enough. Now it's time for mine. I'm one
of one. I am that bleep. You know, I wish
I could say it would be pretty, you know, kind
of makes more of a statement, but you know, so,
Jade's back, Jada's back, super excited, can't wait to see
more of it. It was great Alexa Bliss obviously, you know,
(40:57):
kind of bringing back that twisted Uh she brought that
move back. I thought that was pretty cool. Uncle Howdie
implications obviously with the sister Abigail, she looked a little bit.
She looked a little like demonic. She looked a little dominant, obviously.
Someone who did not have fun in the elimination chamber
was the former w W Women's World Heavyweight Champion Live Morgan,
(41:19):
obviously showing off some bruises on social media. It was
a good match, it was it was great, you know,
Bionco Butler was able to pick up the victory I
would have I would have never had it, you know,
any other way. I feel like she does deserve it,
and you know she's gonna have one hell of a match,
all right. Next we have Naya Jack's aunt, Candice Loray
taking on Trishy Time and Tiffy Time. You know, this
(41:44):
was a this you know this match was what it was.
You know, it was just for Tris Stratus wrestling in
front of her kids for the very first time in Toronto, Canada,
her hometown. Basically that was that was it. It's it's
Tris Stratus. Kind of heading toward a WWE full time return,
not too sure. I feel like she will have a
(42:05):
match at WrestleMania. I feel like she will be the
one to de throne Chelsea Green, which seems about right,
Like I don't want to see Chelsea Green take on Meetchen.
You know, I do love Befab, but she hasn't been
featured on SmackDown for quite some time. He had the
Street Profits come out on SmackDown and she was nowhere
to be found, which is kind of troublesome, kind of sucks.
(42:26):
I really she's very talented and I wouldn't want ww
to release her, but and I know, it's always been
a dream match for Trish Stratton quote unquote in an
interview she said being thrown around like a ragged doll
from Nya Jack, So I guess she kind of got
her wish here. It was a it was a good match.
It was a good match all in all. Obviously at
the end and at the end of the match, you
(42:48):
had Tiffany Stratton, the WWE Women's Champion defeat Naya Jax
and Candas Ray. You know, with the help of Trish Stratus,
WWE Hall of Famer, we have an unch sanctioned match
between Sammy Zain, Kevin Owens, obviously maybe Kevin Stein and Eljenerico.
But you know, it was cool. I you know, I
(43:09):
love the fact that Michael Cole actually did bring up
their uh bring bring up their feud back and ring
of honor. I thought that was pretty bad ass. It
was violent, absolutely violent. They even took it to Toronto, Canada,
you know, they took them through the crowd. I thought
that was super cool. I thought that was super great.
I you know, I love how these two, like I said,
I feel like the you know, the closest people in
the company will have an amazing match, and more often
(43:33):
than not, it's probably one of the most violent matches
any of the people have been because you trust them,
you trust the chemistry. And obviously Kevin Owens Samy's ay
friends in real life best friends, and Randy Orton returned,
which was pretty bad ass. Obviously, you see right there
r Koen Kevin Owens and he was about to punt
his head out the window. Obviously that didn't really work out.
(43:54):
But for me, this was probably the worst bump that
either took man. I was watching it. I was watching
it with my wife and then like I kind of
thought the chairs were going to go through to break
Kevin Owens's fall, but it never really did. And oh
my god, Kevin Owens is one strong bastard man. That's crazy.
(44:16):
Absolutely taking a bump like that, that's that's insane. Next
we had the main event, the men's elimination Chamber match.
Not really much to say about this match except that
it was like the best thing in the world. No, no, no,
it was cool. It was super cool, a great match.
Everyone looked absolutely phenomenal inside the match. Logan Paul Damian Priest,
(44:37):
CM punk Seth Rollins, John Cena, Andrew McIntyre. They all
look great. They all look like they are gearing up
for an amazing wrestle Mania. I didn't logan Paul eliminate
Drew McIntyre, don't tell me. I think so, not too sure.
Don't quote me on that. It was a lot of
action going on all at once. It was insane. We
(44:59):
got this com frontation between historical figures in WWEE obviously,
then then they embraced themselves with a with a hug,
obviously kind of squashing some past beef in the past.
But uh, you know seth Rollins obviously booting, stomping, sampunk
doing anything in his power to stop the dream of
(45:20):
c M. Pug main eventing WrestleMania from happening. And he
did it. And then it led to this, which you know,
John Cena picking up the victory, winning the elimination chamber.
And then it led to this John Cena turning heel
for well, obviously he hasn't turned heel since he was
the Doctor of the Economics. But oh god, when the
rock went like this, I was like, dude, no I
(45:43):
saw no. I saw the expression of John Cena's face first,
and I was like, no way, this is gonna happen
right now, cause you know, I don't want to sound
like a know at all, but I kind of kind
of speculated that John Cena would take the Rocks offer.
He's desperate, he wants to become the best wrestle. He
wants to become the best WWE champion of all time,
winning that coveted seventeenth reign. And I feel like at
(46:07):
this point, WWE needs to make it happen. But something
that caught me, something that definitely caught me through this
whole thing that happened, you know, even you know, even
from the you know, the vicious attack with Ran, What
the hell is Travis Scott doing there? That's one thing
I was kind of like, Okay, this would have been
cool without Travis Scott's I wonder why they did that,
But I know, but like, all in all, like it
(46:30):
was a cool promo. But you really are what John
Cena did in this promo. You know, in an interview,
he did say that if when he leaves WWE, he
wants to leave it better than when he showed up.
He literally put Cody Rhodes over for the next two
years as the babyface of WWE. With one single promo
(46:50):
with The Rock. Literally, Cody Rhoads will be led by
the ww universe for decades from decades on decades. You know,
Cody Rhodes, He's the face of w WE. Fans absolutely
love him. Kids were heartbroken, and it was something that
a lot of people didn't see coming. John Cena as
a as a heel, I speculated about it. I wanted it.
(47:12):
I really really did. Makes me think that when The
Rock went like this that bad blood, you know, didn't
mean like, you know, how John Cena grows up the
word live or whatever. I was like, no, it is
gonna happen. And it happened, and it was. It was honestly,
he thought about any other outcome heading toward WrestleMania that
would you know, kind of beef up the match card.
(47:35):
John Cena you knew was going to main event WrestleMania,
but it was all about how easy going to make
it in that title match, and he did it. Obviously,
he did it, chocking a lot of fans, but it
was absolutely nuts. Obviously. Another moment during the show that
receives some, you know, some recognition here was the end
of the women's elimination Chamber match EO Sky, Ray Ripley,
(47:57):
Biancabell lare having a NYE little you know, intense. I
thought it was intense. I liked it well. Like I said,
I want to see these three girls in the triple
threat match. Obviously, I have not watched Monday Night Ross,
so I do not know if Eo sky Well was
able to dethrown Very Ripley for that Women's World Championship.
I kind of wish she wouldn't, but you know, I
(48:18):
want to see this so bad. These three women would
be absolutely awesome. But Bianca Butler wins the women's chamber match,
Kevin Owens wins the un sanctioned match, Cody Rhodes is
the loser of Elimination Chamber. Be Heau's got his ours kicked.
John Cena wins the Elimination Chamber, and we finally have
our final winners of Elimination Chamber. We got Tiffany Stratton,
(48:39):
the WWE Women's Champion, and the WWE Hall of Famer
Trish Stratus. You know, all in all, I loved it.
I thought it was one of the best elimination chambers
I've ever seen in my life, one of the best
wwepli's i've ever watched. All right, with that further ado,
we're gonna talk about some WWE n x T. We
got a coming, So grab your favorite snack, grab your

Network eight pm Pacific ten eleven pm Eastern Time. Here
to talk about the greatest thing in the world, professional wrestling.
All the action inside and outside the ring, backstage curtain calls,
(50:12):
all the rumors, all the dramas, all the conspiracy theories.
We talk about it here. We talk about contract negotiations, concensions,
and new signings among superstars. We talked about promotions from
DUGM Professional Wrestling, the teena Tom Ring of Honor to
AW to the wweve it makes major news in the
world of professional wrestling. We talk about it here on
this show. One thousand and ten percent. So don't forget
(50:34):
to Superman. Punch that like and subscribe button to the show.
So you guys, can you get some notifications when we
publish videos with all the sports that you guys love
so damn much. So yeah, all right, without further ado,
we got WWE NXT recap. We started off with the
WWE Women's North American Championship match. It with Stephanie mccair's
(50:55):
first toddle defense in her reign, taking on Carmen Petrovitch.
And you know, I I loved how Carmen was able
to hold her own. You know, I did not want
to see the care obviously, just kind of you know,
wipe the floor with her. You know, I feel like
Karmen Petrovitch is an amazing superstar. She's gonna go far
within the wrestling industry. But ultimately, you know, she's been
part of w W for for quite some time. She's
(51:17):
dabbled into some TNA action, which is cool and I
feel like it's great for her, But this might be
one of the last chances she's gonna get it. She's
gonna get a title shot on NXT. You know, I,
you know, kind of sucks, but you have so much
talent in the women's division on NXT. Kind of seems
like at this point it's kind of like not not
even fair, but no, you know, Karmen Petrovich super super
(51:40):
exciting to watch, super impressive. She wasn't she wasn't able
to pick up the dub tonight, but you know, Stephanie
v Kaer was able to retain her title in a
great match. After the match, you saw, Julia show Up
said that, you know, she wants to know who the
best champion is. They are going Ava, the general manager
for NX. He announced later on in show that we
(52:01):
are going to get a title versus title match. You know,
I it sounds cool though, I know, you know, title
versus title, but you know, it's kind of thrown up
a red flag for me, you know, mostly because I've
seen how Mercedes Monette kind of being a multi champion
inaew is hurting the women's division. And you know, I know,
(52:22):
the women's division in NXT is absolute, like bonkers, and
it's like top tier and it's the best women's vision
in the world of professional wrestling. But you kind of
need that second title right there, that mid card title
on NXT. I wouldn't honestly, maybe there might be a
you know, maybe there might be someone that gets involved
(52:42):
to kind of stop the match. That for me, that's
the only logical explanation because when you unify the championships,
the storyline between Julia, you know, it kind of becomes
excuse same with Stephanie Vacaire, and you know, I don't
want to see that happen. I don't want to see
that happen between any of the girls. And it's happening
that Roadblock, you know at NXC Roadblock where there's you know,
(53:03):
actually it's a last episode of NXT, there's a lot
of like title versus title, this title versus time of that.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
You know.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
With TNA, I'm starting to believe that maybe, you know,
Roadblock will kind of be that like Survivor series, like
smack like Ron SmackDown. Maybe, right, you know, obviously a
couple of weeks before you know, NXT stand and deliver,
you're going to get a you know, you know, championship change.
You're gonna get a championship change. And I feel like
(53:32):
once when TNA hosts like I think their top tier
p l E is bound for glory, I think it's
bound for glory. So maybe the you know, the the
p l E before that will feature a lot of
w W E NXC superstars. But you know, this is
something that we discussed on this podcast. If the w
W E, n X T and TNA want this partnership
(53:54):
to be beneficial for both companies, they have to trade titles.
They have to trade titles, they have to constantly be
you know, eluding to superstars, you know, having crossovers that
are going to continue to be badass, are gonna continue
to be shocking, and most importantly kind of you know,
ultimately kind of makes sense. Like when you know, I've
been begging for for like a.
Speaker 6 (54:15):
Couple of months now for Moves to wind up on
WWE NXT, I feel like he'd be I feel like
he'd be great there, and I'm right now I'm begging
that trick Williams makes it over to TNA the challenge
for the ten World Championship.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
That would be pretty cool. Obviously, in the past Name
and Joe Henry they teamed up, but you know, we've
also got you know, into some you know some not spruffles,
I guess you can say, but they would be absolutely great.
The fans wouldn't really know who to cheer for, you
at two absolute baby faces going at it. That would
be pretty interesting to kind of see Trick Williams taking
on Joe Hendry for the teen World Heavyweight Championship in
(54:51):
the future of this partnership, so you know, can't wait
for something like that. Next, we have a promo. Lola
Viz confronts the lysan between NXT and TNA Ariana Grace,
and she was standing rap beside her father, Lolavice talking
some crap, you know, challenging Ariona Grace, saying, hey, are
you gonna be afraid? Do you even know how to fight?
Did anybody in your family teach you how to fight?
(55:12):
And then that kind of set her off there. We
had a match. The match was pretty good. The match
was pretty damn good. I definitely liked how how she
was kind of able to you know, hold her own
against Lolavice, but ultimately you had Vice pick up the victory. Next,
we had Moose retain his Exhivision championship against Lexis King,
and you know, kudos to Lexis. He put on an
(55:33):
amazing match. Him and Moose I definitely another banger. You know,
we had a couple of matches go back to back
to back. After the match, you saw Oba Fevian Challenge
doing that. You know, we need to find out who
the ruler is and then he's going to be defending
his and x TEA championship. I think it is his
(55:53):
NXT Championship against Moose, so it'd be pretty uh pretty
interesting to see who becomes. You know, this is a
heavy hitter match that's right here. This is great. I
can't wait. This would be one of the This has
to be the main event at Roadblock. I do love Julia,
I do love Stephanie Mccaier and the title for title.
You know what, maybe maybe that'll be the main event.
(56:14):
I feel like that's gonna be the main event instead
of Oba and Moves going at it. But no, it's
gonna be great. Next, we have Jordan Grace come out
talking about how she wants to be an NXC champion.
She wants to be an NXC just all in general.
Ever since she had kind of been to the backstage,
she can sense the hungerness between every competitor in the
women's division, and she wanted to be a part of
(56:34):
the best women's division in the world. Rox and Perez
of course comes out, you know, arrogant, cocky, self centered,
talking how she grew out out of the place. Obviously
talking about TNA, she was the big fish in a
small pond, you know, Jordan Grace, I saw like during
that permo she was kind of smiling a little bit.
She was like, oh God, did this girl really just
bring that up? Because she does have a lot of friends.
(56:55):
She has a lot of people that before she left
TNA before a contract expireired, you know, she did put
over a number amount of superstars, you know, definitely a
thousand percent. She helped tests up Blanchard. She also helped
Masha Slamovich. She also helped Chasha Steeles kind of pick
up a dub and I think Jerosemary Mount have defeated
(57:16):
her once. I'm not too sure to Will won't be
on that, but you know, she did really really well.
Jordan Grace obviously is a phenomenal athlete, phenomenal competitor, an
amazing human being, and I can't wait to see what
she does in w W E annxt Trick Williams backstage
talking to Javon Evans, looking absolutely frustrated, telling Jamon Evans
basically like, dude, stop stop stop staying your own lane.
(57:38):
Williams looked unpressed with the newly acquired Ricky Saints, maybe
kind of alluding to maybe maybe a little feud between
them that would be pretty cool, maybe alluding to maybe
Trick Williams turning, you know, turning heel. They've had a
couple of shocking heel turns recently in WWE, like John
Cena and I'm ex kidding no, but uh, I feel
(57:58):
like it'd be, you know, it would be kind of
cool to see Trick Williams maybe become like a fifth
member of that, you know, of the Mystery group. But
then again, they do need a star power. They definitely
do need a star power. But the fans love Trick
Williams so damn much. But with this new like I said,
newly acquired Ricky Saints, the fans are into it. The
(58:21):
new Revolution starts. It started on Tuesday. I personally would
love to see Trick Williams. You know, he was with
carral Hyes and you know he was kind of like
the kind of like the sidekick kind of thing to
a cocky Kamara Lehyes. Would be interesting to see if
you see them. You know, if he joins that Mystery Gang,
(58:43):
maybe maybe not. It would be beneficial for the Mystery Gang,
but it could ultimately kill Trick Williams his career. Man,
you know, I don't know. He is pretty damn good.
He is pretty damn good. So you know, like I said,
maybe taking a step into TNA, maybe challenging Joe for
that TEENA World Championship could be in the future. But
(59:04):
Trick Williams, looking frustrated, can't wait to see what he
decided to do next. Jada Parker in a promo talking
crap on Kaylanie Jordan, talking out Ever since Kaylanie Jordan,
you know, lost her NXT Woman North American Championship, She's
lost her damn mind and she was She even brought
up her boyfriend during this. It was crazy. She said,
there may be a hymn in w w E, but
(59:26):
you ain't her Like I thought that was pretty badass.
I thought that was pretty cool. Jenda Parker, Man, she's
just so good at just talking the mess. Pretty awesome.
We had a No Quarter Catch Crew Tivyon Heights Miles
Born taking on the Hardy Boys, the teen World Tag
Team Champions in the match. It was pretty great. You know.
I love the Hardy's their new w w E theme
(59:48):
through wearing their old school Hardy Boys merch. He even
saw Rent Sinclaire of the No Quarter Catch Roo kind
of be in the back throwing up the team extreme
signed and then she looked at Charlie Dempson being like you,
I'm sorry, man, I grew up with these guys, you
know again talking about all the fandom and all the
things that the Hardy Boys have done for WWE. I
know Matt was super excited.
Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Jeff Hardy also, you know, wants to wind up back
in w w E because it feels like you let
the company down, you know, chance at the chance, at
the chance. Obviously, substance abuse is very very difficult oney
ten percent. So I feel like he, you know, he
has those demons weighing over him. He feels like he
does owe it to WWE to kind of give them
(01:00:27):
the Jeff Hardy that he wanted to give him, give him,
for give them for years, you know, years and years
and years. But obviously that didn't happen thanks to you know,
the lingering fact, you know, the lingering of addiction, and
it's you know, it's it's it's hard. So I would
like to see Jeff Hardy, you know wrestling w w WE.
You know, I've kind of grown, I've grown accustomed to
(01:00:48):
the idea. At first, I was like, no, I do
not want to see the Hardy boys back in WWE,
because I do not want them crippling the tack ting division.
But they look good. They look good inside the ring,
they look good as the teen they were all tacking champions.
So maybe, just maybe there might be a chance. Phraxium
at the end, it shows up obviously showing some respect
Nathan Frazier and Axium. I definitely like that. Santina Morella,
(01:01:09):
the Director of Authority of of TNA, made the match official.
We're gonna have a TENA World Tag Team Championship match
at NXT Roadblock, you know, and I do kind of
feel like they made it for the ww for the
TEENA World Tag Team Championships because you know they you know,
Axium Praxium, they haven't lost the match in a long time.
(01:01:31):
We have to show that they are that they are human,
and with the Hardy Boys coming to town, this is
going to be one of those nostalgic matches where obviously
I feel like the Hardy Boys are going to retain.
Obviously that has you know that. But then Phraxium has
crossed over to TNA. They have fought and defended their
titles there before, so you know, what's the difference to
them doing it? But as the TNA World champions, you
(01:01:53):
know what's what's that? Maybe it could happen, and I would,
for one, I would love to see that. Next we had,
you know, Tony DiAngelo, we had a D'Angel family looking
pretty good. But I gotta be honest, Stax Lorenzo seems
like he's caught up in his ego which is unchecked. No,
I'm just kidding, no, but you know, kind of throwing.
Maybe Shawn Spears gets to him. That would be pretty cool. Maybe,
(01:02:16):
Like I said, I feel like that'd be like a
shocking factor. Like oh, like Stax leaves, the leaves the
family to join Sewn Spears and his gang of Hoodlams,
and that would be pretty shocking for like a month,
but then it'd be over and it'd be like all right,
Like I feel like it would have been better if
he stayed with the family, So you know, probably, you know,
(01:02:37):
I don't think that's going to happen, but I do
like the way that they kind of, you know, they
like Stax. He admitted that he made a mistake, but
then you had Rizzo, and then you had a Cristapino
basically back up to Dawn being like, dude, you had
a chance to be the boss, and every decision that
you were making was bad. I don't want to say
(01:02:59):
that the family was trying to make him seem a
little like small. I guess you can say, but maybe
it'll explode. You know, I know that D'Angelo family have
been together for quite some time, you know, breaking up usually,
you know, that's what happens once when a superstar contract
kind of ultimately kind of goes under, like what happened
with Dukutzon and and Chase you and all that. But
(01:03:21):
you know, I don't want to see that. I don't
want to see the family disappear. I gotta be honest,
they're they're they're fun to watch on NXT. Next, Chelsea
Green is in NXC, looking like they're going to She's
going to take on so Ruka and Zaria. Next week,
we had Eddie Thorpitt on a promo talking about talking
to Trick Williams saying the name of time and a place.
(01:03:42):
And then in the Man event, we had Wesley and
Ethan Page taking on Ricky Saints and Jamon Evans. Obviously,
during Saints' debut, we kind of knew that he was
going to pick up the dub and he looked super
impressive while doing it. So w W A NXC. The
Men's division is also propelling to the next level. This
is definitely going to be one of the heated shows
(01:04:03):
that WWE has to offer, you know, partially maybe in
the future could be better than better than SmackDown Raw
would be pretty hard because it is on Netflix. But hey,
it's pretty badass, all right. Our fifth and final segment
just a nice little fun segment to kind of drift
you guys off into the week. Like I said, I
am live only on Mondays, so you know, if I
(01:04:23):
talk a little bit too much, or you know, if
I have more than an hour show. I'm like, yeah,
you know what, you know, it is what it is.
So now we're going to talk about you know, like
I said, recently, I've been watching a lot of NC
double A men's and women's basketball, obviously March Madness, and
then you know these phenomenal women players like they blew
me away like it was crazy, and I was like, man,
(01:04:44):
these girls are swa athletic. Think probably be WWE superstars.
And then I thought vice versa, and I was like,
I wonder what kind of WWEE superstars could lace up
there their boots and to you know, find themselves and
hold their own on the hardwood. So I kind of
came up with, you know, a basketball team of w
w WEE women superstars. So do not go anywhere, Grab
(01:05:04):
your favorite snack, grab your favorite high school beverage. Joined
me here in about twenty five seconds, so hey, dude,
not go anywhere, and we are back with the GSMC
(01:06:29):
Wrestling Laureate Podcast, brought to you by the GSMC Sports Network.

(01:06:50):
the conspiracy theories. We talk about inactive statuses among superstars
and injury updates. We have contract negotiations, extensions, and new
signings we talk about on this show. Talk about promotions
like w w et A, w T TEENA to Rink
of Honor, to the NWA. For makes major news in
the world of professional wrestling, we talked about it here
on this show. So make sure you guys, Superman punched
(01:07:10):
that like a subscribe button and enjoy one of the
best wrestling podcasts in wrestling news media. And I'm just kidding.
I'm not that cocky, but you know, I definitely, you know,
definitely want you guys to feel absolutely you know, dopey
shydrop your thoughts inside that chat and you know this
this is our show. This is definitely our show, all right. So,
like I was saying, this segment is me coming up
(01:07:33):
with a with a fantasy basketball team of no one
but WWE Women's Superstars recently over the weekend, I watched
a lot of ncuble A men's and women's hoops, and
you know, while I was watching it, I was like, man,
these women are absolute. You know, they're they're monsters on
the court. They're phenomenal, They're exciting to watch. I definitely
(01:07:53):
feel like a lot of these players are going to
be drafted to the w NBA and it's going to
be absolutely badass. It's gonna be great, it's gonna be
super beneficial for the product that the WNBA ultimately is.
I know it's still a growing company. Obviously with that
addition of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese they had a
nice little feud. But I feel like WNBA is on
the map. You know, they have a lot of great,
(01:08:13):
intricate players who are absolute ballers. And you know, I've
noticed down on the court. I was like, man, these
girls are absolutely impressive. They blew me away, you know,
the way that they're able to kind of transition on
you know, on offense, the way they kind of hold
up on defense. Like these like these girls they go
hard on the paint, man, Like it's crazy, It's absolutely exciting.
These amazing athletes do deserve some recognition. But I kind
(01:08:36):
of got thinking a little bit. I was like, man,
some of these girls could be WWE superstars. And then
I thought vice versa. I was like, you know what,
some of it. I wonder if WWE women stars could
lace up their lace up their nikes or whatever or
Jordan's whatever you want to call them, and you know,
actually hold their own onto hardwood. So I did a
little bit of research. I was like, you know, I
(01:08:58):
found a couple of w WB superstars who had played
basketball like in high school and in college. I think
there's only one from the WNBA we're gonna talk about,
but no, I'm super excited to talk about who could
definitely hoop up with some of the best teams in
the WNBA or the NCAA Women's bracket. Obviously, you know,
(01:09:21):
I doubt they would be able to. No, actually, you
know what, maybe you know maybe, but you know, there
would have to be an awesome strategy involved. There would
have to be, you know, definitely some practice to kind
of develop some chemistry, because you can't really you can't
fake chemistry, you know what I mean? Chemistry is nothing
that you can really what is it? You can't really
teach it? Like until you can't really run, you know,
(01:09:43):
practice skill drills on chemistry. You know, the only thing
that's going to establish chemistry is you know, being around
the same players in the long run. But you know,
I definitely hope the team that I create will at
least you know, maybe get within like ten or twenty points.
I'm just kidding. So obviously we're gonna go out with
the head coach. We have the head coach. We have
(01:10:03):
Candice Michelle. Candis Michelle played varsity and college basketball before
she joined the WWEE and assistant coach. Assistant head coach Jazz.
Jazz was actually you know, she played professional basketball in
high school, earning a scholarship to college, so she was
pretty badass on the court. She was pretty damn good obviously,
to earn a scholarship, you kind of have to be.
(01:10:25):
And then we're gonna go to the fitness conditioning coach also,
you know talking also you know, like trainer. I guess
you could say Victoria. You know, she studied biology at
UCLA and medicine at Loma Linda, and you know she
has a you know, a healthcare background, so I feel
(01:10:46):
like she'd be a great conditioning coach for the team,
and then she has an assistant, Ariana Grace. Aria and
Grace also majored in biology, so you know, definitely nice
to have an assistant there, someone who knows what they're doing. Biology,
if you don't know, is to study the human body.
So you know, you've got to know a thing or
two about you know, if someone's dehydrated or someone pulled
(01:11:06):
a muscle, or you know all these other things that
you know w NBA or you know women's basketball players,
you know overall deal with. So we're starting out at guard.
I have Caden Carter. Candy Carter. She has a basketball background,
and just the way she moves inside the ring is
absolutely electric. I can imagine her kind of being like
a you know, kind of like a Steph Curry, kind
of weave in and out of the in and out
(01:11:28):
of the defense they hit an easy layup, but maybe
kind of be a deep under the you know, under
the radar, deep threat all right, in shooting guard. Obviously,
this is kind of she's like going to be our
main you know, she's going to be our main starter.
You know. Jade Cargo, Jade Cargo, you know, she talks
to trash, She has intensity, she's physical. You know. When
(01:11:50):
she attended Sebastian River High, she was a team MVP,
averaging eighteen point six points per game and eight point
three rebounds. And then she also attend vo Vero Beach High.
Both those teams actually did one two district district championships
under her, you know, basically being an MVP on her
(01:12:10):
Vero team, she was MVP and she was conference player
of the Year, averaging twenty one point two points, thirteen
point two rebounds, six point two steals a game. So yeah,
she was a pretty bad ass. She's gonna be the star.
It's gonna be the star of our team. Jade is
gonna kick some ass and take some names, and then
you know she's you know, she's gonna be there at
(01:12:30):
the ason hole. All right, going on to the forwards,
we have forwards, we're gonna talk about Tamina. She's she
was still featured on the WWE page, so I was like,
all right, you know, so, uh, you know she's gonna
play for the team. You know she went to I
guess she was a top rebounder for her team. Although
she wasn't the best at scoring, her defense ultimately won
(01:12:51):
her the MVP when she went to the n w
A a CC tournament in the finals, you know, she
was she won MVP basically based on her defense, which
is a which is cool. You know. Usually you know, stars,
they don't get that recognition, you know, but you know,
defensive player. I feel like Tomina could still definitely kick
(01:13:11):
some ass. Other forward we got Bailey Bailey. Obviously, you
know she's a B baller. You know, she you know,
she's a baller. She's good. She was actually featured at
the Celebrity All Star Game, and you know, I think
she had an assist. Did she score point? I didn't watch.
I know I watched bits and pieces of it, but
I didn't see her kick some ass. She was on
(01:13:31):
a B ball team on Independent High School in San Jose, California.
She made varsity as a sophomore. Her senior year, she
was deemed the El Capitan. So obviously, I feel like
that's a pretty bad ass. And then sitting in the center,
we have last Legend, a former w w W NBA
draft pick. You know, you know, definitely, you know, gotta
(01:13:54):
love and respect, you know, last legend. You know, in
twenty nineteen, she was a round a second round draft
pick for the w NBA. She went to Mississippi State.
She set an NCAA tournament record for US having twenty
seven rebounds in a single game back in twenty and sixteen.
(01:14:14):
And you know the way you see her in wwe
just absolutely dominate. Inside the ring. She would be a
steady stable piece inside inside the offense, she would be
an absolute ball. She could still she probably still gots it. Man,
probably still gots it all right. Moving on to reserves. Reserves,
obviously we have Naya Jacks who played and Palomark College
(01:14:35):
San Marcos. She played in college, so you know she's
going to be definitely, definitely being on the team. One
thousand in Tampa set burcl Rodriguez. She was All Valley
MVP back in two thousand and nine playing basketball. She
won a scholarship playing basketball to play for A and
M Kingsville. So you know that this girl is a baller.
And you see her, like I said, inside the ring,
(01:14:56):
she looks like she could literally like hold her own.
She feels you know, like like imagine driving to the
rim and you know, trying to have you know, trying
to get through red calrod Druguez would be like I
wouldn't have. I wouldn't do it, you know, I would
never do it. That would be gotta be kind of crazy,
all right. And the w w E H and I
on next in line program, we have the twins, Haley
(01:15:18):
and Hannah. I'm gonna say this wrong, Covender, Covender. You know, they're,
like I said before, w W E N L A
N I L Superstars. They're gonna put the w w
W Wins Tag team division back on the map. You know,
I know a lot of people are you know, you
see twins, you think of the Bell of Twins, maybe
like a revamped version. But I feel like they would
(01:15:39):
you know, maybe be you know, not that I'm not
saying Nicky and Bree weren't like, well, obviously different generations.
It's kind of like, you know, kind of debating the
goat between Lebron James and Michael Jordan. You know, in
contemporary w w EE, these women would be absolutely, would
be absolutely impressive. Instead of joining their fifth year and
final year playing in basketball in college, they signed, they
(01:16:03):
sign a contract with WWE. Right now they're in the
NIL and I you know, according to reports, it seems
like they're kicking ass, taking aims they're doing great, you know,
obviously wishing nothing but the best for these two young athletes. Next,
we have Jada Parker. Jada Parker is in our list
of reserves in LSU. She did play soccer, you know,
(01:16:25):
and then she was part of the USA you you
won seven national soccer team, so you know, she has
some you know, she has some the capabilities there. She
has some athleticism in there. And her cousin was Jason Kaffe,
who played, you know, for the Chicago Bulls during the
Jordan era where when he actually run won two rings.
(01:16:46):
So like, come on, man, if you know, if your
cousin he's playing the Bulls and it probably knows Michael
Jordan maybe sat on the same seat as Michael Jordan
and then kind of maybe you know, got some of
that my secret stuff. I don't know if any guys
watched the first ever Space Jam where Michael Jordan has
the you know, just it was just water and then
bugs Bunny was like, oh, my secret stuff and then
like everybody kind of need to go all buff and
(01:17:08):
they started being super good at basketball, you know. So
you know, I'm not saying maybe you know, uh, you know,
Jada Parker got her hands on that drink and she's
gonna kick some ass and takes names. But uh, you know,
maybe she can also. You know, on the reserve, we
have Chelsea Green, the w w W Women's United States Champion.
Let's just face it. Every team she's a huge Toronto factor,
(01:17:30):
Toronto Raptors fan. Every team has that player where you know,
they go in there and they just take falls, and
you need to have somebody in there who's really good
at flopping. And nobody's a better complainer in the WWE
than Chelsea Green. No, I'm just kidding. She could. I
bet she could score a bucket.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
Obviously athletic as hell, you know, if you're a WWE superstar,
you know, and the way she you know, she's been
within the wrestling independent circuits, you know, uh, there's no
doubt in my mind she could score a bucket. But
you know, we kind of have her as that person
that kind of, you know, kind of flop a little bit,
you know, and the next week at Iyaka bel Air.
You know, she's also had some athletic background. She's a
(01:18:13):
very accomplished track and field star. So definitely, you know
she's gonna be on the team one thousand and ten percent.
And yeah, we have a couple of honorable mentions. Obviously,
can't have everybody on the team. We have Tiffany Stratton,
the WWE Women's Champion, obviously on the US Olympic team
athletic background, she could probably score a bucket. Next we
have Raya Ripley, the WWE Women's World Heavyweight Champion. I
(01:18:35):
feel like, you know, she would just be an absolute
dominating piece in the offense. You know, everybody needs that enforcer.
The Bulls had Dennis Rodman, you know, the early Lakers
had Trevor not Trevor Reza, I think it was Matt Barnes.
And you know, now you have it on the Golden
State Warriors with Draymond Green. I feel like she would
(01:18:56):
be an awesome like she would just get under the
skin and she would just be like kind of play
bully ball a little bit, and yeah, you know, she
can kick some ass and take names, you know, maybe
get a couple of technicals, but she would make sure
that the other team would not, you know, even dare
to mess with the other players, you know, kind of
like the enforcer on the team. So yeah, that's my uh,
that's my women's basketball team, fantasy basketball team made up
(01:19:20):
of nothing but WWE women's superstars. So if you definitely
think that they could, you know, at least win one game,
make sure you drop it inside the comments. Or if
you think I'm absolutely bonkers and I'm like you know, obviously,
you know, it's always fun to kind of have fun
little segments, all right, guys. So hey, that is it
for me. Hopefully you guys had a great time watching
(01:19:42):
the show. Hope you guys had a great weekend. I
hope you guys are gearing up for an amazing fun
week with the fan Bam. Living out here in southern California,
we're actually heading toward her cold front. No, I hate
the cold weather. I hate rain. I don't like rain.
I gotta be honest, I don't like it. Definitely, not
a thousand percent. I like a guy. I'm a guy
who you know outside it's one hundred and thirteen degrees outside.
(01:20:05):
I'm not I'm not. I'm that type of person. So yeah,
the cold is a it's not my style. Not my style,
all right, guys, So without further ado, if I've not
made you a wrestling fan by now check out all
the other podcasts. Make sure you guys follow us on Twitter,
