Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yes, back, there we go, there we go. I think

(01:30):
that I think that fixed it. Oh my god, I
hate it when it does that. My kid's gonna turn
that one all the way up soon. You're just gonna
fix that up quick, people. And that's where usually it
only happens once in an hour, you know, sopefully everybody
can hear me. Yeah, I think I think I'm mom good. Yeah,
there we go, testing testing, all right, cool, cool, all right.

(01:51):
So you know, as you guys all know from a
Monday's episode, I was suffering from a pretty terrible, uh,
pretty terrible cough that I really seemed like it has
not gone absolutely anywhere, which you know, it's gotten better,
it's gotten better, but you know, today got one make
it too no scratch that. Let's go for a three
pet of water bottles here. And you know, if it

(02:14):
seems like my voice as a little monotones, because I'm
losing my voice and actually this helps me, you know,
feel the need not to cough, I guess you can
say so. So yeah, we're gonna dive on into it.
Like I said, if I'm you know, definitely about to die,
I'm totally gonna hit you guys with that I will
be right back, but uh yeah, just stay patient. I
just want to make sure that you guys, you know,

(02:36):
don't go absolutely anywhere. So thank you guys so much
for tuning into the GSMC Wrestling Lawyer Podcast, brought to
you by the GSMC Sports Network. We have a great
show for you today. All lined up, you have our
WWE Monday Night Rob Review. We're also gonna talk about
w w E n XT, and then we're gonna move
on to talk about UFC fighter Israel Atasania. You know, Hope,

(02:58):
Hopes and Dreams will be coming a w superstar as
soon as he leaves the UFC. Then we're gonna talk
about Bailey, former WWE Women's Champion, is going to be
in the in the NBA All Star Game Celebrity Game Friday,
February fourteenth. Definitely, I can't wait to watch that. I'm
a huge fan of Bailey. I wasn't really you know, recently,
I've kind of it seems like ever since she got

(03:19):
kicked out of Damage Control. That's when I started being like, okay,
now I kind of saw the reason, you know, she
she kind of turned here, the reason why she kind
of had those weird you know, those ding dong you know,
you know those weird insults and everything like that. I
thought she was awful on the mic. I really did
you know her as a hee, I thought it was
I thought it was awful, really did. But at the
end of the day, it all kind of came in

(03:40):
fruition and now I feel like it saved her career.
You know, it saved her from kind of becoming you know,
a footprint in the history of WWE. You know, she
was able to rack up a couple more championships, you know,
tag team titles as well for the women's So you
know we're gonna talk about Bailey in our fifth and
final segment. We're gonna talk about some TNA impact. So

(04:00):
grab your favorite snack, grab your favorite ice cool beverage
to join me here. You know, do not touch that
dowt for the next hour. And yeah, it's going to
jump on into it. But of course before we do
any of that, just go ahead ahead and guys, feel
absolutely you know comfortable, you know, drop your thoughts inside
that chat. Don't be shy. You know, whatever you guy's
putting this side there is going to be talked about.
Featured and you know it's gonna be debated about on

(04:22):
the show. Plus, it's a great way to hate how
random icons pop up on your computer screen. Hey, would
you like an Xbox game pass, you know, membership. I'm like, dude,
I don't even I don't think I've played Xbox since.
I think it's been like three years. It's crazy. Not
a huge video game guy. I used to be. I
used to be, but sometimes when you have kids, you know,

(04:43):
your priority has kind of become a kind of become different.
You know, obviously maybe you know, am I I'm a
line to you guys be like yeah, you know, sometimes
I'd be like, yeah, you know, I like, uh, you know,
some Buffalo Wings and maybe a cold Ice cold Doctor Prepper,
you know, playing some playing some Madden or some thing
like that, or or NBA two K. That would be
pretty bad ass. But but no, I enjoyed the company

(05:05):
and my kids, you know, my beautiful wife instead. But
but yeah, anyways, make sure you guys hit up that
tips in the Nation's link to me what you like
to me but you don't like, just remember the Superman
punch that like a subscribe button to the show. Follow
The show followed the network and you will do no wrong.
So yeah, I can't wait thre you what you guys
have to say. All right, we have our first segment.

(05:25):
We're gonna talk about some w w WEE Monday Nightra.
I apologize, like I said, apologize if I've seen a
little monotone, you know, losing my voice. Plus is this
actually helps for me to not have the urge to
cough too much. So all in all good stuff. So
Jay Husso starts on Monday Night.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Ra.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
You know, I was taking that you deserve it chance.
I thought that was pretty cool. You can tell that
it was a huge speech from the heart from him.
It was you know, you could tell it wasn't really planned,
you know, And at first, I got to be honest,
I didn't like it. I was like, what the heck
is this guy really doing? This is your twenty and
twenty five Royal Rumble winner right here, a guy who

(06:08):
can even you know, handle promo on the mic. But
at the you know, at the end of it, it,
you know, it came out decent. I think Gunther comes
out talking about how he's disappointed to find out Jay
Lusso won the Royal Rumble. Obviously still building up tension,
and he's Gunther's way back, He's he's he's much better
than a way much better than jay Usso on the mic,

(06:31):
you know, if WWE wants to keep that heel, that
World w H champion, then you you gotta like, you
gotta like Gunther keep it. But it's the point where,
you know, should we expect jay Usa to automatically choose
gun through, should we choose him to dethrone Guther at
WrestleMania forty one? You know, my philosophy in w w
E and basically every wrestling promotion, especially if you have

(06:54):
two dominant titles to fight for.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You know, usually you go with one one babyface to
one heel, so you can save all the the good
guys storylines for the good guy and save all the
bad guys storylines for the bad guy. But you know,
maybe it might be something different here, you know, once
again maybe alluding to the fact that Cody Roads might
actually you know, maybe he does turn heel, but you know,

(07:18):
good third, I'm gonna miss the title and good there,
you know, I you know, if he's not like Damian
Priest love Damian Priest.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
I think he's one hell of an athlete. He was
one hell of a you know, old company on but
you know he was I feel like overall he was
a transitional champion, you know, just a placeholder while seeing
Punk comes back from injury, Drew McIntyre seth Rawlins and
then you know, heading into the Monday Night Raw Era
on Netflix. You know, it's a nice way to kind
of have a nice little clean slate. You had that

(07:46):
storyline between him and the Judgment Day turning their back
on him, and then you have Finn Balor and Damian
Priest go at it. But it was a you know,
it did it's due diligence. And now we're here today
talking about Gundther fighting Jay Usso, you know at the
wrestle at WrestleMania forty one, which probably won't even be
the main event, I don't really see that being the

(08:07):
main event, especially Cody Rhods. If Cody Roads fights anybody
besides John Cena, Roman Reign, Seam Punk, maybe perhaps you
can have this in the main event kind of status
or maybe j Usso, you know, maybe he maybe he
wants to challenge, Maybe he wants to challenge Cody Rhodes,
you know, kind of test himself. But you know, he

(08:28):
was such a hair close of defeating Gunther, maybe this
might be you know, maybe this might be a start
of a different a different era. Obviously, Jay Usso was
mentioning he's going to smack down to confront Cody Rhodes
did not bring up n XT, which I kind of
thought was the right move to make, because on an
XT right now you have oba femin that guy's a
complete bad ass. J us So would definitely lose against

(08:49):
that guy. And you know, then we found out that
John Cena will compete in the elimination Chamber in Toronto.
You know, usually these championship countdowns, you know, when I
was watching WWE Monday Night Raw, I think it was
two weeks ago, and you saw the countdown to number twenty,

(09:11):
the countdown to number seventeen, and you know, obviously I
feel like they made that graphic for you know, for
a reason. It makes a lot of sense. And so
it seemed like, you make no point if John Cena
wasn't going to fight for some kind of a championship
at WrestleMania. There's been a lot of talk, you know,

(09:31):
with wrestling media, how Joe Hendry wants to challenge John
CNN John Cena and him openly spoke about it at
the Worry Rumble. Maybe if he wins the TEENA World Championship,
that would be that would be huge. That would be
pretty dam huge. I gotta be honest, that would be
you know, pretty awesome. You know, it'd be cool for

(09:52):
the nice little interer cross promotional, you know, aspect of it.
But you know a lot of people would rather see
him win the WWE champions I doubt the World Heavyweights Championship.
So which leaves Okay, so we're gonna get a John
Cena Cody Rhodes. And you know I was I was
talking about this months and months and months ago when
I was debating if John Cena would even compete in

(10:14):
a War Rumble, you know, and he was, damn he
was the runner up. But I kind of overalled. I
saw this, you know, looked at it in a dream.
I'm I see Cody Roads, Johnsona, have you one hell
of a match, and then Cody Rhoads clean leapins John Cena.
Johnsona looks at Cody Rhoads, Rady puts his hands up
in the end of course, He's like, all right, kid now,

(10:36):
this company's on year back and then that's how it
kind of that's how it ultimately ends. So you know,
or you know, or we can get a heal Cody
and then maybe John Cena is the one to kind
of you know, the thrown hel Cody. But that would
take so much, you know, planning so many storylines, so
many promos. You probably would have had to start that

(10:56):
maybe in December Saturday it's main event or something like that.
But you know, as of right now, it seems like
it's kind of going that way. Patasto Miodo defeats alud
Bit Kaiser. He is undefeated in the w w WE.
Pete Dounn interrupts say Kaiser attacks at the end of
the match. Finn Balor is so off the way, Radar.
I gotta be honest, that little backstage promo with the judgment,

(11:19):
they didn't really rub me the right way, you know,
I didn't really like it. And then uh, you know,
him and Dominic Mysterio was probably gonna end up fighting
in the future. Next we have Charlotte Flair saying that
she missed you guys. She comes out, you know, maybe
she's a babyface, and then you know, she turns on
the audience, heel seems a lot better, and then she
said she mentioned NXT something that Jay Usso did not mention.

(11:40):
You going to NXC and SmackDown. Next we see a
backstage confrontation between Carry and Cross and Sammy Zin is
carrying across trying to play mind games with Sami Zay.
Sammyse right now is at a crossroads in his relationship
where you have so many people telling you things like
the whole you know, Kevin Owens before Royal Rumbo, you know,
you had seth Rollins before his match with cmpunk Sampunk

(12:03):
telling Sammy's ay that you're not on his level, and
then Jay Usso and Sammy's aing like, you know, it's
a you know, Cary Cross definitely trying to take advantage
of another another impressionable soul. On the ww ME Monday
Night Raw Roster, The New Day defeat Mysterio and Dragon
Lee of the l w L thanks to Logan Paul

(12:24):
gotta be honest. I dig the I dig the new theme.
I thought that was pretty cool. I thought, you know,
now we kind of have a darker presence, darker colors,
and you know, this whole New Day with sunshine, rainbows
and unicorns and the booty Ohs and the pancakes. It's
a it's officially over. It's officially over, and you know,
it's a new start, and so far it seems like

(12:44):
it's been it's been pretty decent. I would have loved
to see a new the New Day kind of win
some match cleanly to kind of start their new you know,
this new beginning, New Day start. But you know, it
is what it is. They're heels, So what do heels
do they win by? You know, interference? Live Morgan defeats
EO Sky. Ray Ripley causes this qualification. Wanted to back

(13:05):
up EO Sky, but at the end of the day
she cost her a chance to main event WrestleMania. EO
Sky was pissed. Raquel Rodriguez and Live Morgan walk out,
you know, riding off to the sunset, which is exactly
the plan that Live Morgan probably orchestrated. The Creed Brothers
want a shot at the WWE World Tag Team titles.
The war Raiders seem like they're ought to give it

(13:25):
to them. Seth Rolins Hitty that pump up steep speech
to Sammy Zane don't really know what he was wearing.
You know, he looked like a cross between the Undertaker
in the Macho Man Randy Savage. I really didn't, you know,
I love Seth Rowlins. With some of the offense that
he chooses when he walks out to the ring is
you know, a little questionable. I'm like, dude, you know,

(13:47):
can't you really pull that off? I mean, I guess,
but yeah, that was all right.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
A J.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Stoyles coming to Monday Night Ross, he was like, bron
Breaker wants to give him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
We had the final main event Matt Punk and Sammy
z In. At the end of the match, Kevin Owens
attacks Sammy's a once when Punk is victorious hit some
of the package pile driver, and did you guys get
a lot of the glitch that was happening on Netflix?

(14:12):
You know, according to a news sources along a lot
of wrestling wrestling media tabloids. You know, fans were pretty
angry that, you know, at the end of that show.
You know, it was very very glitchy. It's very blotchy,
it was, you know, it was it was kind of lame.
But you know, there's no dot Mo mindor Netflix is
probably you know they're gonna get that fixed. All got,

(14:32):
so hey, do not go anywhere, we guys, reponding to
our next segment, we got some w W E n
x T recaps, So hey, do not go absolutely anywhere.
I feel like I'm losing.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Everybody in the Wildbye. Please Lord give me us sign

Speaker 4 (15:17):
I don't even ship that.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
I think is amazing, Waiting for my day when I'm
playing sold down should for a thousand faces.

Speaker 4 (15:22):

Speaker 2 (15:28):

Speaker 1 (15:30):
I'm losing it.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
The noose and fits the loser shit a stupid myth.

let's do this thing called life. Let's enjoy it. I'm

to you know, I kind of wish I had a
co host. That'd be pretty badass. I gotta be honest,
that would be pretty cool. A nice little you know,

(17:52):
back and forth banter with some wrestling chemistry would be
pretty damn cool. But but you know, yeah right now,
because my voice is just like it, Eric, No, what
are you doing? Sorry? Excuse me? Uh so, you know,
make sure you guys hit up the tips of the
Nation's link. Tell me what you like to me but

don't forget the you know, like subscribe follow All right,

(18:55):
So we have some WWE NXT recapped Stephanie mccare picking
up the first dub of the of the evening, taking
on fatal influences jac Jane. You know, this match actually
wasn't like too much of an ass kicking as I
thought it was going to be. It was nice to
kind of see JC Jane, you know, hold her own inside,

(19:16):
you know, the square circle with the successful, internationally successful
Stephanie mcaierr the fatal influenced Jasminick's getting involved, Fallon Henley
kind of standing on the sidelines there. But Stephanie mcaerr,
you know, she was able to pick up the victory.
You know, so will she marched the Vengeance Day to
win her first title in w w EE. I you know,

(19:36):
at this point, I feel like it's I feel like
it's very likely. It's very likely because whenever you see
Stephanie mcaer and Julia standing in the ring together, you know,
it seems like NXC or WWE for that matter, it
seems like they don't want us to see them fight.
Yet it seems like they're kind of, you know, they're
kind of holding it to like an all star cell.

(19:59):
You level, like maybe Fallon Henley finds a way to win.
You know, Stephanie mccaer as of right now, is kind
of a kind of a lone wolf in the w WE.
You know, she does have Julia, but you know, no
more maybe Lolavice, Keilanie Jordan's kind of gone off the
deep end. So maybe there might be a way for

(20:22):
fatal influence to help, you know, to help Fallon Henley
retain this championship. Other than that, you know, Fallon Henley,
you know, she's she's doing her job. She's doing her job,
she's playing a piece on the storyline of w w E.
Or single time she steps inside the ring doesn't necessarily
mean that she's not gifted or talented or that she
doesn't deserve a title. Just as of right now, with

(20:44):
this whole this whole vibe, and this whole brink of
Stephanie vakare fans ready to rush the door every single time,
you know, WWE opens its gates at its events, you know,
so you know, right now they kind of want to
show them a little love. You know, you have w
UWE going to international. Stephane Mcare would be a huge
you know, NXT North American Women's Champion. You know, she'd

(21:06):
be a great you know, she'd be a great representative
of that of that title, you know, and like I said, nothing,
you know, nothing to you know, kind of shine down
Foulon Henley. I feel like she is a she's a success.
And you know, she did wait quite some time to
get her hands on singles gold in NXT, but you
know she did. She represented a great and shit, shoot,

(21:27):
look at me, I'm already thinking that she lost. Maybe
she wins, you know, let's let's argue the other side
of that coin. You know, she wins, she continues the dominance,
pure not futures, fatal influence, get back on the you know,
in their winning ways, and then they start kicking ass,
taking names, and they become a dominant faction in NXT

(21:48):
for you know, at least a year, and then maybe
Foulon Henley loses her title at NXC Standard Delivery, you know,
at the grandest stage of them all. Maybe that could definitely,
that could definitely you know, pay dividends. That'd be pretty
pretty damn cool, pretty damn cool. But although you know,
you already have Julia, Julia's an international sensation. She's already

(22:10):
liked by a lot of well, shoot, by all the
wrestling universe. You know, she is that babyface champion and
then you know ANX Women's North American Champion. You know,
maybe you keep it, keep it a heel. So that's
what I'm like saying. I'm like, Okay, maybe it would
be a bad idea to take the title off of Fallon.
You know, maybe you should book Stephanie Vickier taking on

(22:31):
Julia at stand and deliver. No, maybe that seems you know,
I would love to see that. All the fans would
love to see it. But yeah, should should be crazy
to find out what? Uh you know, what is uh?
What is next? Alexis king, you know, talking about how
he doesn't want to be a beta or quote unquote
a normy. I don't know. I don't even know what
that means. I don't even know that was a thing.

(22:52):
He's he wants to change the Heritage couple rules, which
is absolutely stupid. I don't like it. Fun Dongo well
jd JDC from TNA representing the system, you know, kind
of kind of for me, I thought this was a
nice way to kind of be like, you know, because
the moment ww NX and TEENA kind of got this

(23:16):
partnership together. I thought of Nick Namath, Dolf Zigler. I
thought I'm Mustaff Ali. I thought of Matt Cardona, Zach Ryder.
You know, you admit, you know, he came out to
his you know, his original theme of NWWE comes out.
He's like, I'm known as jd C. Now, you know,
totally acknowledging the character change. You know, obviously you're not

(23:39):
trying to pull the fast one over the w W
universe to be like, oh, I'm not fine dono anywhere,
like you know what I mean, You're not gonna you know, So,
you know, sometimes it's you know, it's smart for an
entertainment company to kind of especially professional wrestling, to be like, okay,
you know, my all my cards on the table. You
guys can see them, and you know this is what
we're gonna do. So you know, maybe sometimes some way,

(24:02):
maybe those three superstars do end up coming back to
do some time in w W A NXC. I highly
doubt it. I do, because they're, you know, they're they're
really big superstars, you know, without you know, with TNA
letting NXC borrow their big superstars, you know, it could
be you know, maybe he could prove some troublesome for

(24:22):
you know for some teena but who knows, you know,
maybe we might get a little bit of a tree
here and there. All right, we have Channing, Stax, Lorenzo
taking on Ridge Holland, potential turmoil between the Down and
the Fam. Obviously Ridge was able to pick up the
victory if he dam gets involved again. Shawn Spears, Brooks,
Jansen and another guy can't remember his name continues to

(24:44):
look on. Later on in the show, you see Ridge Holland,
you know, confront the Down asking for another NXC North
American Championship match. Uh, and the don basically you know,
he agreed to it. They agreed to a nice little
steel cage match. He said, I don't need my family
to defeat you. His family was behind them, kind of
kind of shaking their heads, you know in uh, you know,

(25:07):
they're not approving. They're not a provie, especially Stax. You
know Stax is you know next in line? Will you
perhaps see you know, uh, you know, a succession or
you know someone wanted to take out uh, you know
the their their king, you know with the next seater
what is it called? Damn it? I never remember what
it's called. Sheet. You want to you know, you want

(25:28):
to take the crown for yourself. I guess you could say,
you know, so maybe we might get a Don versus
Stax Lorenzo, maybe some family inner turmoil between you know,
the Don of NXT that would be it would be
a good storyline. But them together, I gotta be honest,
I kind of liked them together more. And it's tag
ting divisions still heating up. Phraxium will take on to
Ms Brothers on TNA Impact. We had sol Ruka teaming

(25:52):
up with Zaria taking on taking on Gigi Dowling and
also Tantum Paxley.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
They was obviously they were able to beat him up.
You know, I kind of knew that was gonna happen.
But Tatum and Gigi were both very you know, very impressive,
and you know Tatum to Tatum especially Paxley was very
you know, she's able to dictate a match. She's very good,
very very good, especially against the powerhouse such as Zaria.
You know, they were waiting, kind of kept her on

(26:21):
the ropes, kind of kept her on the apron for
quite some time. And then once when Soul finally tagged
her in and then she came in, she did what
she does. She does best, you know, with the power
being dominant, and she was ultimately labeled to set Gigi
up for the soul Snatcher from a soul Rucas so
they can get the one two three, But overall is

(26:41):
a good match. And next we have the Women's Summit.
Bailey tried to talk, trying to tuck some scent into
rock Sandperez, buta rox and Perez is still totally full
of herself. Julia comes out to state that no one's
going to defeat her for her title. NXCA Vengence Day.
Charlotte Flair then comes sorry, excuse me, then comes out
basically says, whoever split in the championship match has a

(27:04):
has a problem with me because I'm a two time
NXT Women's World Champion and although the nxc IS Women's
division is the best, I'm better, so you know. Then
Corey j came out and attacked absolutely everyone with that
with that that black stick. She was able to kick,
you know, she was able to kick the mess. I
thought that was pretty cool, you know, different side of
Corey JA. And you know, I was kind of seeing

(27:26):
I was kind of tired of seeing her getting her
ass kicked every week. You know, happy that she's actually
trying to you know, trying to make a name for
herself at you know, after since she came back instead
of latching onto you know w w E nxc A
Women's World Champion Roxane Press. So it was nice to
kind of see her have her own little character direction.
So I thought that was a I thought that was

(27:48):
pretty awesome. Ethan Page wants to match, wants a match
with Jabon Evans at Judge at Vengeance Day, and he's
going to get it. Kilnie Jordan takes on Karmen Petrovitch
uh and although Jordan won the match via submission, the
call was reversed. The referee reverse the decision that gave
the gave the win to Carmen. After the match, you

(28:10):
saw Kaylnie Jordan, you know, after the one two three,
put Carmen Patroviage back into that submission that real naked
choke once again, show me times that maybe she could
possibly be a heel or you know, kind of showing
how Jada Parker could ultimately get under her skin, or
maybe Jada's just trying to help ky Lonnie Jordan become
more of like, I guess you can say, like like

(28:32):
a woman more of a more of a fierce competitor,
because Kaylnie Jordan still has that sweetheart all American, you
know value to her, like she still kind of has that,
you know, she still kind of has that like over
like lingering over. And I know she was on the
you know, the US national Like what's she on the
US And I think she was just on the gym naxas.

(28:52):
I'm not too sure. Don't quote me on that, but
you know, I think Jada Parker might might be good
for Kaylonie Jordan, should be should be pretty bad. Oh,
the FBI and Trick Williams team up against Atown down Under.
Obviously they're indifferences and with the help of Eddie Thorpe.
You saw Grayson Waller and Austin there you pick up
the one, two three, and uh, you know that's how

(29:13):
NXT ends. But then of course he saw the Vengeance
Date promo. A new faction is looking to debut on
NXC Vengeance Day. Honestly, as of right now, I have
no idea who it is. You know, I've had you know, well,
I don't, I don't know. I don't really want to
get into it without like further researching it. So Yeah,
let's just move on. UFC Fighter Israel Adasania's WWE dreams

(29:34):
could be closer as they are, you know, you know,
as instead of being further. So, yeah, we're gonna talk
about this guy. We're gonna talk about some of his
accomplishments in UFC. We're gonna talk about, you know, just
the way he admires w w E. So grab your
favorite snack, grab your favorite NZE club beverage, and join
me here in about twenty five seconds. So, hey, do
not go anywhere.

T TENA too Ring of honor for mixed major news

because you guys are super awesome and you super love us.
So let's gonna take care of each other, you know.
On thousand and ten percent, can't wait to hear what

(31:58):
you guys have to say, right, So it's going to
jump on into our third segment. We have you have
ce Fighter Israel out of Sonya's WWE dreams might be
closer than than he maybe expects. So, uh, you know,
recently you've seen out of Sonia, you know, post pictures
of himself checking out the WWE experience in Saudi Arabia.

(32:20):
You know, UFC's new, you know, I know they have
like a boxing project. They do want to start having
something out there out in you know, out in the
Middle East, which is you know, definitely smart. I know
Dana White is totally keen. He's totally headstrong. He wants
to be successful internationally, which is what a good businessman
should do. And Ony ten percent, you know, I feel

(32:44):
like with a lot of the connections that he definitely
and the WWE have, you know, with you know, is
it the no, Dammit's I can't even I don't want to.
It's not the President. I know that, it's not the Shake,
it's not the King. I can't even think about it
right now. Well, the person in charge of sports, you know,
the person in charge of sports. We'll start with that,

(33:05):
you know, I know, overall, like you know, the Saudi
Arabia is a huge market in terms of sports, especially
sports that kind of originate in America that come to
Saudi Arabia. Well besides soccer, you know, besides soccer. It
would you know, but you know, I doubt the NFL
would ever kind of go out there and reach out
and kind of have a football game. It'd be pretty crazy.

(33:26):
It'd be pretty crazy. But WWE and combat sports are
usually usually the number one markets. You know, There's Germany,
the UK, France, Japan, there's a lot of markets that
are a Latin America. There's a lot of markets out
there that besides you know, the United States. You know,
that's you know, could be very marketable, could be definitely

(33:47):
you want to put something in here, you know, you
want to have a nice little you know, performance center
or have a you know, you know, have a fight
here and there. They're going to do it, and the
Saudi Arabia is gonna pay big money for that. Like
what happened with that. J Paul and Mike Tyson boxing
match and it was dog crap, but you know, they
got millions of like viewers and like it was crazy.
They got money. You got paid money, man, So why not? Honestly,

(34:11):
at this point, why the hell not? But uh, I
don't know. I just feel like you know, Israel and
to Sonia. You know, he's he's such a gifted and
such a remarkable fighter, you know. I you know, I
dabble in within the UFC here and there. You know,
I don't know why whenever some guys actually get knocked
out and like their nose busted open, or some guy

(34:32):
breaks his leg in the middle of the ring, I
don't know why. That doesn't really excite me. But when
something happens in wrestling, I'm like, oh my god, Like
when they put the chair around his neck and you know,
they break his neck or something, I'm like, yeah, Like
I'm just kidding. No, I'm not like yeah, but you know,
I don't know. It's just, you know, I don't know
how my mind works, you know sometimes, But I don't know. Overall,

(34:53):
I would love to see this young man in the
w w E one day. You know, he's trained alongside
of WWE superstars like you saw in that picture before
you know, to go to Kai. He's hit an Undertaker
theme song on his way out, you know, at one
of his walkouts. He's a two time middleweight champion, and
he said in an interview that his bucket list would

(35:15):
eventually be, you know, coming to WWE. Asania has indeed
left the mark on UFC, and although WWE is definitely
in his sights, he's not quite ready yet to lead
the UFC, but he has demonstrated the importance of performances
that you know, a performance has to be has to
be great. And he said this, and I quote, I'm
very content with where I am in my journey as

(35:38):
a human being and as an athlete. My love for
the game has changed for the better, especially now that
I'm thirty five years old. We don't live or die
bi Alcolade. It's more about performances, and that's what WWE is.
He basically, you know, gave his his entrance speech to
the world of professional wrestling. It's entertainment. You have to

(36:02):
be a remarkable athlete, you have to be great on
the mic, you have to have that charisma and enthusiasm,
you know. And although it is all that in the
bag of chips. The fans, they they they don't want
the you know, the fans aren't gonna watch wrestling and
have fun watching it if you're not having fun doing
it inside the ring, you know what I mean, Like
you have to have you have to have a passion.

(36:24):
And the other Sonia definitely has that passion. You know,
he's a huge WWE fan. WWE merging with TKO definitely
leaves the door open. You know, he'll blend in so
freaking well because first and foremost, you know, he already
has a respect for the business. And I hate to
bring this up, but you know Ronda Rousey and you know,
and she's you know, she's cool, and I'm not trying

(36:44):
to trash her, but you know, she never really got
a chance to like learn, you know, she you know,
she would have started an NXC. I thought that would
have been ultimately better for her. But you know, at
first she was like kind of like a publicity stunt.
And then she started debuting on the main roster. She
was on you know, they can't out and r rumbo
this and that and the other, and she actually ended
up winning one and just the way she was inside

(37:05):
the ringdough she she would hurt her competitors, She would
hurt people. She was like the Bill Goldberg of woman's wrestling.
It was pretty tea. It was pretty bad, you know.
And the way she was on the mic. You know,
I always kind of say this, like you can transition
from a UFC star to like a WWE star, you know,
but vocally and promos, she was still in the UFC like,

(37:30):
and I know that might not make you know, Erica
promo was a promo. No, there's the way WWE does
promos and there's a way that UFC does promos, and
I feel like Ronda Rowsey never really got that, you know.
I feel like Adissania will know how a promo works.
Obviously a huge fan of WWE. You know, how to
gauge the audience, something I Ronda never knew how to do.

(37:50):
But mostly the importance would be the chemistry between him
and his opponent. He would take care of his opponent.
You know, if you're a fan of professional wrestling, you
kind of see, you know, it's entertainment. You kind of
see what's going on in the middle of the ring.
You kind of see, okay, oh, that's the reason why,
you know, in the backbreaker, that's the reason why you
do that. Or you know when you jump off the
top rope, that's the reason why you kind of do that.

(38:11):
And like you know, there's there's certain techniques and I
feel like, you know, as a fan, you get him.
As a training yeah, you get him. Adasanya has been
training within mixed martial arts, within a lot of combat
and sports skills since he was basically a Wee child.
Him coming back to him coming to the WWE would

(38:32):
be so great, be so great for for two reasons.
He would be such a huge marketable person in the
w w E. Like I said before, he's a gift,
and he's talented, he's you know, he's a motivating he's
a motivating act to watch. You know, watching UFC Adasania
bam Boom love it. Secondly, international, WWE wants to go

(38:55):
international and this Nigerian badass could definitely bring some eyes
on WWE. You know some fans that were from us
that are that like watching the UFC being like, oh, yeah,
had a son. He is wrestling for WWE. I don't
no one's gonna trash him to be like oh he
got scared. He you know, he went to a fake
fighting I don't think any fan or any wrestling fan

(39:18):
would never do that. Of course, you kind of have
those high end, you know, kind of guys who are
full of themselves, you know, the guys at those UFC
fight watch parties where you know, they'd be like where
they feel like they know more what to do than
the than the fighters. They're like, oh, I could easily
get out of that hole. You do this, that and
the other boom, and then you're just like, oh god,
this guy or he's practicing moves on his friends, and

(39:41):
his friends are kind of like, dude, what are you doing?
Stop it? And then he has a drunk girlfriend on
the in like sitting on a chair on the side, Like,
oh my god, bab you could have totally been a fighter,
Like usually you get one of those guys at the
UFC watch party, you know. But overall it was, you know,
it was a good experience. When I went to I've
been to I think a couple. You know, there was

(40:03):
always that one guy, and every single time I looked
at him, I'm like, oh my god, this freaking guy. Dude.
But you know, it was entertaining as hell for me
to watch, you know, definitely, you know, so so yeah, no,
I can. I can't wait to see if this guy
makes it, makes WWE International, makes it more successful, and
makes it more competitive. This guy walks into the ring,

(40:23):
he is automatically Worldvyweight Champion, material, WWE Championship, Material, Intercontinental,
United States, you name it. This guy would be absolutely amazing,
absolutely amazing, and it'd be such a damn shame if
WWE the you know, they don't look at this guy.
I'd be like, look, you know, he's thirty five years old.

(40:44):
If you come to the WWE me thirty five years old,
you are already at the peak of your ultimate performance,
and he's gonna win. He's gonna win some championship. He's
gonna win some champions might not even win a word
rumble money in the bank by the time this kid
is forty two years old. This guy kid definitely have
already made event in WrestleMania, already have two historic title reigns,

(41:04):
and probably have won a word rebble. I have that
much faith in this guy. I definitely love him as
a person. I love him as a wrestling fan. Like
I said before, wrestling fans stick together, and I definitely
love this guy as the future International star of w
w E. I'll end it with a quote. He said this.

(41:25):
He said, each fight is different, a new opportunity to
show how great I am, to create highlights, to create memories.
What's something that wrestling fans love? And they love their nostalgia,
they love their memories. And if this kid, like I said,
is basically he already you know, he had an entrance
speech in the WWE and he checked all four boxes.

(41:48):
So you know, only time will tell them to see
if this guy will grace us with his presence. All right,
without further ado, let's talk about Bailey. And Bailey has been,
you know, pretty busy in the world of WWE and
outside of w Bailey is playing in the NBA All
Stars Celebrity Game. We're going to talk about that when
we come back. So grab your favorite snack, grab your
favorite ice school beveret'd you join you here in about

(42:08):
twenty five seconds, So hey, do not go anywhere.

(43:16):
we talk about all the action inside and outside the ring, backstage,
current calls. We talk about rumors, drama, and we talk
about an active statuses, injury updates, talk about contract negotiations
and extensions amongst superstars and wrestlers. We talk about promotions
like eew Dowwe to the GCW two New German Professional
Wrestling for it makes major news in the world of wrestling.

(43:37):
We talk about it here on this show one percent.
So make sure you guys smash that smash that superman
punch that like and subscribe butt to the show. All right,
It's go ahead and move on. To our fourth segment.
We got Bailey talk, Bailey Talk, we got a Bailey
buddy in the house, Bailey butt'on, just kidding out. I
was never really huge Bailey buddy kind of guy. You know.

(44:00):
I remember when she kind of embraced the fact that
she was going to turn heel and then she totally
tore down all the Bailey buddies and was like, dude,
what are you doing? Bailey? No, those are your only friends,
Like what do you do? I'm just kidding though, No, Bailey,
you know, starting off an NXC, I thought, you know,
she was kind of like that kay Lonnie Jordan kind
of feel. You know. That's why I'm like, you know what,

(44:21):
maybe Kylennie Jordan, I want her to turn heel really bad,
but maybe he might jump the gun, you know a
little bit. But you know, back in the day, obviously
with the four the four Horsewomen, you know, Becky Lynn,
Charlie Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bailey. And look at her now.
Now she's amazing. Now she's an amazing international wrestling sensation entertainment.
You know, I'm pretty sing she's gonna be guest starring

(44:42):
in movies, maybe even TV shows, maybe she already has
and I just hasn't a I just haven't really researched
that in depth about it yet. You know, I'm just kidding. No,
moving on, So, like I said before, Bailey has been
she's been busy as of late in terms of w
w WE for so almost last year. She had such
a blockbuster she has such a blockbuster season. You know,

(45:06):
she was the WWE Women's Champion. You know, she won
the Water Rumble, and you know she was I think
she was even now she wasn't a tech now. I
think that was Oscar and Kyrie saying that the Kabuki Warriors.
I think it was yeah, yeah, no uh. And you know,
even as of now, like I feel like, if there's
a person that's gonna be thrown Chelsea Green for that

(45:28):
United States Women's Championship, I gotta be honest, I think
it's gonna be Bailey. I feel like he kind of
has to be Bailey. And I feel like that's why
WWE obviously they keep her in the main event scene.
She's been around w w E for quite some time.
You know, right now she's in that she's in that transition,
transition of you know, putting over young creative, young talented superstars.

(45:51):
What she's done pretty damn well. And uh, you know,
obviously look at what's happening with the whole damage control thing,
you know, and you know her feud with Bianca bel Air,
and you know obviously everything that's going down right now
with Julia, Roxane Perez, Kora Jade. I definitely think her
time and in WWE has been pretty damn pretty damn beneficial.

(46:11):
And now she has an NXC Women's Championship match at
Vengeance Day in a triple threat match with Roxan Perez
and the defending champion International Sensation Julia So and then
she has elimination qualifying you know, she has an elimination
qualifying match at Monday Night Raw. So she has a
shot at at WrestleMania forty one. She's taken all, She's

(46:32):
taken all Lavravalkuria. So I I don't know if get
a shot, because I feel like ultimately she will start
building up, you know, building up a feud with somebody
else to take them on at WrestleMania. So that's why
I'm like saying, I'm like, you know, you put Bailey
put a seasoned veterans. She was you know, the first

(46:53):
ever women's an elimination chimper match. Bailey was there. You know,
her and Sasha Banks won the women's tag team Champion
chips inside of elimination chamber match, so she knows how
to get it done. But you know, it should be,
should be, you know, should be interesting to kind of
find out if they decide to. You know, I don't
think she should win, but I think she will be
in the chamber. Who's gonna win the elimination chamber match, Well,

(47:17):
I don't even know who Charlotte's gonna pick. I think
it makes sense for Charlotte to probably pick Rare Ripley
because people want it so damn bad. And then, oh god,
but then who's gonna take on Tiffany Stratton. Oh god,
that's a whole nother question with him itself. Make sure
you gets hit up in the you know, in the
chat section, which you guys think. So, yeah, it looks

(47:38):
like the role model is an advent basketball lover. Bailey,
you know what's the first is the first female in
w w E history to to go to an NBA
All Star Game, which is hosted by the Golden State Warriors.
Bailey is from San Jose and grew up a fan
of the Warriors. Obviously, the Ruffles NBA All Star Celebrity
Game is set to be an instant classic. Uh the

(48:01):
Miz Obviously. He was part of the NBA Best All
Star Game, Celebrity All Star Game MLB Softball as well.
He's twice winning the end MLB Celebrity Softball MVP WARS.
I feel like that's pretty damn cool. Bailey is going
to be on Team Jerry Rice, the team of Tara Owans,
Matt Barnes, Shaboozi Walker, Hay Shelby, McLellan, and many more

(48:24):
going up against Team Barry Bonds and uh, two chains.
I think it's too to change. I feel like it's
two change, you know. And even on social media, you
see Bailey, you know, posting pictures of herself shooting hoops,
not something that she has a lot of fun doing,
and you know, kind of being bigger and kind of
being like a larger than live wrestler. You know, all this.

(48:47):
You know, she started off as a fan. She this
all started off as a you know, as a dream,
and now it's kind of came into you know, it's
kind of came in fruition. Once again showing that if
you have a passion for something and a strive, you know,
you try and try and try as hard as you can.
You know, sometimes dreams can't come true, you know what
I mean. Maybe at one point, you know, Bailey thought
about being a ww at wnba a basketball player, you know,

(49:11):
seeing her skills on the court, But she posts on
social media, seems like she could have definitely been, you know,
a nice little deadly outside shooter, mid Raine shooter. But
you know, I don't know, I have a lot of
confidence in Bailey, you know, like I said before, her
as a heel shook me up. As the first time
I saw it, I was like, dude, this is stupid,
this is not fitter. You know, I feel like they

(49:32):
killed the BAI League character. But then, just thinking about it,
you're gonna have this whole Bailey hugger thing, you know,
with the Bailey buddies. How long are you going to
really keep that going for? You know, how long is
she going to be that lovable, huggable pushover. You know,
I feel like it was a great time in her
life to go here, you know, kind of like what
happened with Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns was forced down the

(49:53):
throat of every wrestling fan. Fans absolutely hated him every
single time he come out of match. They were like,
I think there was I read somewhere that fans would
sometimes chant I hope you get injured or something like that,
which is absolutely devastating. That's that's so screwed up. But
you know, it was perfect for Bailey. It's perfect for

(50:14):
Bailey to turn here on once she did, and yeah,
she's right now, she's kicking ass, taking names. Bailey's real
name is Pamelo Rosa Martinez. She's the first ever Women's
Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion twenty nineteen, Women's Money
in the Bank winner twenty twenty four, were a rubber winner,
Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion, also w W Women's Champion

(50:35):
and Tag Team Champion. So the scirl has all the alcoholades,
she's larger than life, and now she's going to be
starting in the NBA All Star Celebrity Game Friday the fourteenth.
Make sure you guys check it out at ESPN seven
pm Eastern time. Damn, that picture popped up absolutely at
the perfect time. I love it. I think that's you know,
that was pretty badass. Nice. It all works out, guys,

(50:57):
It all works out, all right. We have our fifth
and final segment. We're going to talk about some tanna
impact guys. So grab your favorite snack, got your favoriteize
quote beverage. You join me here in about twenty five seconds,
So hey, do not go anywhere, all right, and welcome

(52:27):
back to the g SMC Wrestling Lauria Podcast, brought to
the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your favorite wrestling fan. Here,
I'm the GSMC Sports Network to talk about the greatest
sing of the world professional wrestling, all the action inside
and outside of the ring, backstage curtain calls. We talk
about all the rumors and all the drama. We talk
about an active statuses, injury updates, contract negotiation extensions among superstars.

(52:51):
We talked about promotions from w W a W to
TEENA the Ring of Honor. If it makes major us
in a winning professional wrestling, we talk about it here
on this show A thousand and ten percent. So make
sure I smashed that like a subscribe button to the show.
So you're asking you have some notifications whenever I whenever
I published some some videos because like I mentioned before,

(53:11):
earlier in the show, I'm only gonna go live one
day a week now it's gonna be Mondays GSNC Wrestling
Laurier Podcast. I'm I do not miss extravaganza. So we
make sure you guys, you know, don't be too late
and hit that like a subscribe button. All right, without
further do we have t and a impack. Tina Impact

(53:32):
is loaded from San Antonio, Texas coincidentally the home of
Shawn Michaels. Are we gonna see a nice little appearance
from Shawn Michaels and maybe JBL two? That would be
pretty damn cool. Gotta be honest, I'm not gonna lie that.
I'd be like an ultimate like cause I was a
fan of Teenay, you know, growing up during their glory
days from like two thousand and four to like shoot

(53:55):
damn to about two and Dixie left. I think you
started seeing the Cogain and Eric Bischoff team up again
to you know, kind of drive another wrestling promotion into
the ground. But you know it was cool, you know,
I love the Monster a bitch, thought he was bad ass.
AJ Styles, the whole X Division was on fire, Jelly
Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels Oh my god, we're absolutely electric.

(54:19):
I remember James Storm. James Storm was pretty cool. Who
else was there? Bobby being there? I thought I thought
he fit in TNA. I thought it was I thought
it was over. I was good for TNA, but uh,
you know, it just made it better. It just made
it so much better. TNA definitely was, you know, one
of my shiz. You know when Kern angle sting, you know,
there was some pretty cool you know, Bully Ray, you know,

(54:41):
Aces and Eights was pretty cool to watch, but uh,
you know, it kind of fell off the wagon for
quite some time. Then it started gaining a little bit
of popularity. Then everything happened with the NXC partnership, and
then now it seems like they're in absolutely they're they're
in a great They're in a great market, and I
definitely think it's you know, it's gonna be pretty badass.
All right. We have an NXT Tag Team Championship match.

(55:04):
We have Phraxium, the team of Nathan Fraser and Axiom,
taking on the Nemoth brothers, Nick and Ryan. This would
be interesting to find out if they decide to take
the titles away from Phraxium. You know, Phraxium, you know,
Nick Neammoth recently losing his championship to Joe Hendry Johanry
obviously being number fifteen on the WWE ro Rombobi three

(55:27):
before being thrown out by Roman Reigns. But you know,
Nathan Fraser and Axiom has quickly become probably you know,
every single wrestling fan you know, if you dabble in NXT,
it's probably become one of their favorite tag teams to watch.
And it's been mine. It's been mine every single time.
You think these guys are gonna drop the titles, every

(55:48):
single time they you know, you think they are, they don't.
They don't, and they have such an amazing they're perfect.
They're literally this new generation of you know, tag team.
If these guys somehow magically lose this tag team match
or lose their NXC tag team titles sometime, you know,
within the foreseeable future, you're gonna see them come on
Monday Night Raw or SmackDown, and they're gonna achieve tagging

(56:11):
greatness right away because the titles are just a lot
better with them representing them. And so, you know, I
definitely love this tag team. I can't wait to see
how this match goes. And I can't wait to talk
about it on I think Friday. I think on Friday,
which is my last live Friday, last the last live
Friday shows. I make sure you guys smashed that like

(56:32):
a subscribe button. Uh so we're going to see We're
gonna see the Hardy's and Leon Slater the future of
the ex Division Championship take on the system obviously, you
know with JD. C. Moose and I think it's Mike
gad Words. I think it is like could be wrong,
could be wrong, could be wrong. Brian Myers, damn it.

(56:54):
No bested by Brian Myers, no idea, it's any Edward,
damn it. I was read the first time. See what
happens when you second guess yourself. But the Hardy Boys also,
are we gonna see them on NXT? Are you gonna
see them come back to WWE one Final WrestleMania. They're
getting up there in age and it would not shock
me if you you know, if they come back one

(57:16):
last time, that would be it would be interesting. I'm
not gonna lie. It's not like I would be absolutely
totally against it, but uh, you know, they're kind of aging.
I just don't want them to win goal. I don't.
I feel like that would be absolutely that would be
pretty damn awful. But you know, we're gonna find out
if the system still has it in them to be successful.

(57:37):
Moose obviously headlining them as the X Division champion. You know,
I'm not super happy about it. You know, I do
love and respect Moose. He was one hell of a
teenage world heavyweight champion, but then immediately gone to the
X Division a chiep greatness. There's so many more profitable
like Laredo Kid and Leon Slater. Mustaf Ali is back.
You know, if they don't treat that like it's an

(58:00):
under continental mid card belt, which is which is actually
quite admirable. It's actually pretty damn cool that they don't
do that nowadays. But I don't know, it just kind
of leaves some of the competition kind of from the
outside looking in. But I don't know, it should be
should be interesting who would be next to Who's going
to be next in line to challenge Masha Slamovich for

(58:21):
the Knockouts World for the World Championship. Damn it, I
couldn't get that off my tongue. You know, Uh, Thursday,
when top knockouts collide in a battle. Royal doesn't really
say how many people is going to be in there.
I'm wondering if you're gonna get an NXT star Cordiate.

(58:41):
Maybe Cordiate finds her way, you know, maybe she wins.
That'd be pretty cool. That would be pretty damn cool.
Be good for cord be good for TEENA NXC, and
to be good for Masha. That'd be a nice little
match to watch. Who else would be you know, maybe
ash you know, maybe ash By Elegance would be kind
of cool to watch. Tessa Blant. I don't know if Tessa,

(59:05):
you know, she's all right now, but I think at
this point the fans are probably expecting Cora or you know,
maybe maybe know the shocking factor, maybe Camelini Jordan. That'd
be pretty bad, as that would be pretty pretty huge.
After setting his sights on the TENA World Championship, Mike
Santana was interrupted by Mustafa Ali, who upstates Santana upon

(59:27):
making his return to TNA, but afterward Ali turned down
a match with Santana. He promised to find someone with
was always ready for action, Matt Cardona, and now we're
going to see Matt Cardona and Santana go one on
one in this camp mis contest to make you guys
check that out. We have acet Austin taking on Tyson

(59:50):
DuPont to Tyson and Tyreeq. Obviously, Wes Lee showing his
face in TNA, which is good for him. I ultimately
want him to kind of expand his wings, maybe trying
to make his name inside the exhibision, you know, title picture.
I feel like him going up against Moose would be
an amazing match. That'd be pretty badass, but this match
would be kind of rotten. Frace Austin in this one.
You know, I love you know, I love a s Austin.

(01:00:14):
He's super cool. Eric Young, obviously he shocked the world
when he turned his back on Josh Alexander, now joining
forces with the group that Alexander wants to lead at
the Northern Armory. So we're gonna find out what this
guy's intentions were. Obviously with Josh Alexander's contract with TNA
not yet. Ain't no promises, not even any rumors going around.

(01:00:37):
I remember there are, maybe I just haven't really you know,
opened up that half that much. But I feel like
this is great for Eric Young. It's gonna be a
nice little storyline for him to kind of wrap his
head around. Now you're kind of like you're kind of
that guy, and Josh Alexander once again falls into you know,
maybe he could be a babyface champion moving forward. You know,
if he goes to w W E NXT, I feel

(01:00:59):
like it will demand more of his time that. I
don't think he's all. I don't think he's down for that.
I don't think he's I don't think he wants that.
I feel like that's the reason why he's hopingly admitted,
you know, quitting the wrestling independent scene because he wants
to spend some time with his family. You know, he's
been wrestling for quite some time. Honestly, one of my
favorites to watch inside the ring. I kind of like
to compare him to like, you know, he's kind of

(01:01:20):
like a cred Angle, you know, kind of like a
cred angle and ride back, you know, if they had
a wrestling baby together, you know, and be josh alekmant.
I'm just gonna know, not a pretty picture to paint.
I apologize, apologize one thousand and ten percent, but guys,
that is all for me today. It is nine to

sh and the copy ain't hit yet.
