Speaker 1 (01:06):
Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome to an episode of the GSMC
Wrestling Lauria Podcast, brought to you with the GSMC Sports Network.
I'm your favorite wrestling fan here, Eric Rodriguez every Monday
Night Live after Monday Night Raw to talk about Monday
Night Raw, also review some SmackDown on a couple other
you know, subjects that are worth talking about today. On
this show, we're gonna talk about obviously Las I mentioned before.
(01:27):
We're also gonna talk about Hulk Hogan's new wrestling venture
with Eric Bischoff. And we're also gonna talk about WWE's
best and worst finishers to make sure you guys, you know,
stay tuned for that. I hope you guys had a
great weekend. Hopefully you guys are having a great week.
Obviously it is Monday. A lot of people we do
dread Monday, but to be brutally honest, you know, Monday
(01:50):
wrestling will always take care of you. We got Monday
Night Raw, we got Tuesday nights on NXT. We talk
about WWE Evolve, also Dynamite on Wednesdays. Also we have
TNA and Ringman Aor on Thursdays. Within Friday obviously some
Friday Night SmackDown. It's always double and sorry excuse me,
(02:10):
uh for that matter, in terms of being a wrestling fan.
So but yeah, we have some pretty nice you know. Also,
we had the NBA Playoffs heating up those who are
NBA fans who are watching it. I did watch the
Golden State Warriors defeat the Houston Rockets in that game seven.
I thought that was pretty badass. I thought that was
pretty cool. Uh, you know, I want to see Steph
when another ring. I'm sorry, I feel like, you know,
(02:30):
a lot of people in terms of throwing in who's
the goat in the NBA, you know, Michael Jordan, Lebron
James obvious picks, but you gotta you can't count out
Steph Curry. Steph Curry really is you know, he changed
the game in basketball. He revolutionized the you know, the
the value of having a three point shooter. He revolutionized
(02:50):
the you know, people playing small ball, you know, not
really dominant by a big man anymore. During this you know,
during his tenure. Nowadays, I feel like it's kind of
heading towards that same, you know, you know, that old
school of basketball with you know, with Yo Kisch and Edwards.
You know, you know you kind of have that big
guy in the middle where you kind of need it.
But you know you can't take anything away from Steph Curry.
(03:12):
Oh but you know this is a wrestling podcast. Let's
talk about some professional wrestling. But before we get on
into any of that, I just want to remind you
guys to go ahead and hit up that tips and
donations link. Tell me what you think, tell me what
you like, tell me what you don't like. Obviously be
active during the chat. Just want to you know, know
that you guys are you know what you guys are
hot takes in terms of the world of professional wrestling
or just something you need to dine to get off
(03:34):
for chest. You're the GSMC Sports Network. We do value
you guys's thoughts, opinions and you know and overall your
you know what you guys want to say about professional wrestling.
So make sure you guys participate actively in that chat,
this conversation, this podcast is a lot to keep the
conversation lively. Making sure you guys feel like your voices
is part of the mix. So don'pe be sure to
drop your thoughts inside that chat and if you really
(03:56):
want to make sure you come a question, a concern,
hit up that super chat. If not, always feel welcome
to hit up the chat. Don't even worry about you know,
obviously give what you can. You know, obviously you know
your super chats help. So let's keep the lights on
on all these amazing podcasts, with all these passionate, enthusiastic,
charismatic podcasters who have one gold in mind, to make
sure you guys consume all the sports content that you
(04:16):

free once you subscribe to the GSMC Sports Network, the
GSMC Podcasting Network, So you know, why not throw a
couple of shekels, and you know through bones, you know
here and there we are super grateful for each and
every one of you guys who joins us here daily
on the GSMC Sports Network. Your support makes all the difference.
So let's get this party started, sending those super chats
(04:38):
to those superstickers, because you guys are super awesome and
together we will make sure this is the best wrestling
podcasts in the world. Actually, there's a lot of great
podcasts out there. I'm a huge fan of. Obviously, not
going to give out no free shout outs. What do
you what do you think this podcast is made for?
What do you think? Just gonna know? But yeah, there's
a lot of awesome streamers out there, so make sure
you guys, you know, check those. You know, we're a
(05:00):
wrestling family.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
You know.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Something that's awesome about professional wrestling is once when you
kind of jump into or once when he kind of
bump into somebody in public, you know, and they're wearing
a seth We're awling shirt, they're wearing a you know,
macho man Randy Savage, you automatically just kind of feel like,
you know, you're a part of the family. So it's
it's it's it's pretty cool. It's pretty bad asked to
be a wrestling fan, and this fandom is you know,
we're we're family. So one thousand and ten percent, make
(05:24):
sure you guys drop your comment, question or concern inside
that chat and without further ado, we're gonna talk about
some WWE Monday nightra Obviously it just got done airing
on the East coast. Now on the West coast, if
you're if you're not subscribed to Netflix, if you are,
you know YouTube team won't actually you know you I
(05:44):
don't even know. No, it's not the USN network out
you know a lot about that. But you know, if
you're watching it now on Netflix obviously you know spoiler alert,
spoiler alert. I already watched it first and foremost. We
have JAUSI come out and call out Logan Paul automatically
just shut down. We have Paul Hayman come out, you know,
ladies and gentlemen, My name is Paul Hayman, and you know,
(06:10):
it just kind of makes me feel like, you know,
and I know, you know, on this podcast, I feel
like I'm like the biggest Logan Paul fan as opposed
to all the other all the other wrestling fans that
are like, you know, get this guy out of here.
But you know, I kind of did not like how
Logan Paul was ultimately, you know, overshadowed by Paul Hayman.
You know, it was kind of like a gift, but
(06:31):
it wasn't a gift. At the same time, when Logan
Paul called out Jay Usso last week on Money and Iraw,
I knew that it was gonna be be the end
of Logan Paul. It was too soon. It was way
too soon. Jay Husso on a huge. You know, he's
so over, absolutely so over right now. And with Logan Paul,
you know, you know, not really being appreciated by the
(06:51):
fans and by all means. You know, they have their
their reasons and stuff like that. But if you're trying
to build up this guy and then once see over
and over and over again on Monday Night robbverys single
time someone that cuts up promo against Logan Paul, there's
always that, you know, that YouTube star. You're just a
YouTube star. You don't know what wrestling is all about.
And it just kind of further kicks and digs on
(07:12):
into Logan Paul's legacy becoming a WWE superstar, and I
feel like it's bad. I feel like that overall is
bad for Logan Paul. But we got Paul Hayman instead
of you know, instead of Paul, you know, Paul Hayman
going full heel. We're seen full heal, Paul Hayman saying, hey,
y'all can keep your booze to yourself. You know, he
(07:34):
found Roman Reigns on an island of irrelevancy, and that
is one thousand and ten percent correct. Who all remembered
Roman Reigns before Paul Hayman got involved. Yeah, he was
some guy that a lot of the WWE fans thought that,
you know, you know, Roman Reigns was being forced down
their throat, you know that babyface, you know, and it
(07:55):
sucks because Roman literally does have you know, he has
he's very well, he's very you know, he's well run
inside the ring, you know, and he has a lot
of family out there, obviously from the you know, from
the dynasty of the Enoe family, also the bat twos
in the Maaveas. So if there's anybody that could bring Paul,
(08:16):
that could bring Roman Reigns to you know, relevancy, you know,
it's definitely going to be Paul Hayman. But I definitely
liked how Paul Hayman pointed that out during It's you know,
during his promo. I thought that was pretty bad ass.
He said, the step two, what's my step two? My
step two is going after the WWE Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Obviously,
jay Uso at this point looks absolutely stunned. He looks
(08:38):
he kind of looked a little flustered, you know, he
looked a little scared and you know, kind of coming
off of dal be like okay, I prepared for Gunther.
Ever since Saturday Nights main event, you know, he was
this close away from defeating Gunther for that World Heavyweight Championship.
Obviously it did have to wait to wrestle Mania forty one,
but at the end of the day, you know, Jameuso
(09:00):
had that all that time to scout and he's never
defeated Seth Rawlins cleanly within a match, and and obviously
heading into Themate event, which we will talk about later,
you know, once again didn't really come to fruition. So
Jay Ussom once again coming out of you know, kind
of being a little bit aggressive, being like, you know what,
let's do it right now. Who's in the whole my
(09:21):
oh Maha, Nebraska, why not let's do it here and now.
And then you know, Paul Hamon, you know, scrumbles in
the back and he's likely got him, you know, you
know what I mean, like classic mastermind kind of you know,
kind of brains behind the operation, and seth Rowins is like,
I don't want to be the guy that says, hey,
I told you so, but I told you so, And
(09:43):
you know, for me, I was kind of like then
Paul Hayman goes on a rant to you know about
with braun Breaker about everything that's going down. You know, see,
I'm punk and Roman rains lots against Seth Rowlands, this,
that and the other.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
You are so privileged to witness the greatness of Seth Rawlins,
and you know it was you know, it's it did
its far.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
But at the same time, I was kind of like,
all right, you're dragging it on. Dragging it on there, Paul,
keep going Okay, now it seems like we're kind of
losing it here. Next we have Pensa taking on jd
McDonough and obviously you see the judgment Day get involved
inside the match, you saw, you know, he saw kind
of Pensa kind of you know, I'm a huge fan
(10:25):
of Penza one thousand percent, but I actually am a
huge fan of Jada McDonough and I feel like this
was a chance for WWE to kind of put him
on them. You know what's when he came from you
know what's when he kind of came back from that
punctured lung injury in that war Raiders tag team match
for the WWE World Tag Team Championships. He was he
was relatively liked by the WW Universe. He was very welcomed,
(10:47):
and then when he made his way back and then
in the backstage like banter with the Judgment Day, he
was kind of look around and he's like, dude, like
what's going on here? He kind of looked like a
lost soul. But WWE straight up stamped it on him
that he is. You know, he's gonna take his place
and he's gonna be a heel on the Judgment Day,
which I kind of didn't like. You know, I was
kind of thinking about, you know, out of the two
(11:08):
people in the Judgment Day that probably do not I
feel like they do not need to suffer once when
this faction goes under, you know, not lived Morgan, not
Riquel Rodriguez, not Carlito, not Dominic Maceiro. It's gotta be
Finn Valery and Jade McDonald if they can literally go
out there and be like, you know, a straight up
tag team. They have great chemistry together. One thousand percent.
They really honestly do not need the Judgment Day. And
(11:31):
then you know now that you know, you know, Triple
H Ball of Egg had j D mcgonnall ultimately come
out here to take on Pansa at me as you know,
as a heel. You know, I you know, I understand
you know Dominic Dominic Masseiro's facing him at Backlash for
that w W wiener kind of a championship. But Penza,
you know, picking up the victory, I thought that was
pretty cool. Obviously building a momentum toward his title shot.
(11:53):
We have Shamus defeating Austin Theory once again. Grayson Waller,
when are we going to get this break up? Guys?
We've been flirting with this breakup for so freaking long
and it's become it's beginning to become troublesome. You know,
they were tack Team and SmackDown they you know, they
they won the WWW. World Tack Team Championships last year
(12:14):
at WrestleMania, which is cool and all. It's all great,
It's all gravy baby, go ahead, whatever you guys want to,
you know, depict it as perspective wise, but I feel
like Austin Theory, he was the last Vince mcman guy.
You know, he won that money in the bank and
then it kind of faltered under, which kind of sucked.
But Grayson Waller, I feel like, is bringing Austin Theory down.
(12:37):
He's bringing Austin theory down in so many ways, and
it sucks because I love Austin theory. I love the
way he could possibly be a really big babyface in
the world of w W if they allow if they
allow him to do so. So you know, obviously, you know,
we'll see what happens heading into backlash, I feel like,
but then again, we've been bantering and we've been speculating
(12:57):
on this for about like damn almost a year about
a downtown under breaking up. So every single time I
think they're breaking up, they don't break up, and I
look like, you know, I have my head on my
arse and I'm like, oh crab, here we go again.
But but yeah, it was you know, it is what
it is. Becky Lynch comes out, you know, coming out
and flailing flying colors, saying that Bailey she's garbage and
(13:21):
libravol Carrios recycling, and I gotta be honest, I don't
like it. I really don't like this side of Becky.
She looks fake. She looks fake one thousand percent, you know,
her coming out and rantying and being like that pissed
off never godo fmirred on Like, you know, it's not
really that WWE. It's not it's not what the man
(13:45):
is supposed to be, you know what I mean? And
I get it. I get it. I know one ever
WWE has, you know, when they have couples wrestling, like
you've seen it with You've seen it with Maurice and
the Miz. You've seen it with who's the other couple
that came in? Uh God, I just saw that. God,
I'm blanking right now. But there's so many, there's so many,
(14:09):
you know, seth rawlins I make you lynch. Obviously you
guys know they were married. Obviously they are you know,
they you know, have babies and stuff like that their family.
But it's just, you know, if someone's a baby face
in the family, and if someone's a heel, it kind
of seems a little like you know, you've seen it
with you know, the Street Prophets, you know mantes Ford
(14:32):
and you know Bianca Belair and it's uh, you know,
it's it's it's alright, it's all right. I want to
see Bianca turn here, but that's just that's just me.
All right, rapidly finishes up. You know, we're running short
on this segment, so we're gonna speed things up a
little bit. Eo Sky defeat Rock sand Perez, Rock sand Perez.
Her attire was it was interesting. You know, I thought automatically,
(14:56):
I saw the stars. I saw like the overall like
presentation of her, the production in her, in her entrance.
I thought of core j and I felt like maybe
she was kind of paying homage to her, you know,
best friend who recently got the who recently got released
from WWE, So that, you know, that was pretty crazy.
The match was great, The match was awesome, but it
(15:17):
was ultimately you know, Julia got involved in the NXC
Superstars are absolutely right running Rampant over Bundy Night Raw.
Next we have Otis Taken on Russif you know, how
how powerful do you want Russ to look like? How
much do you want him to look like Miro from
ae W when he comes back and it's you know,
I thought it was cool that Russef came back on thousand.
(15:39):
I thought, you know, it was Ratboof for him, is
Ryan Roof for w w E. But then you look
at the recent releases from w W and you're like,
damn being honest, dude, if you're doing that, you know
what comes up must come down and you know, if
you signed some superstars, and obviously some of them have
to be released, I would have Lebron Strowman over Miro
(16:03):
for decades, for days, for years, for decades, for centuries.
I like, you know, like I said, I'm not trying to,
you know, throw shade at Rusif, but it just doesn't
really end. At the first day Russef comes back for
his full time match, he bullies the alphae Academy. It
curates zawo otis maxime depri Like how how relevant does
(16:26):
that make you? Like? Literally, where does that put you?
Not the Intercontinental Championship picture, not in the w W
World Tivy Wach Championship picture, not at all.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
Russef would probably be lucky enough to find himself in
the WWE Men Speed Championship match. But as of right now,
you know, obviously it's still still young, still young, so
maybe it'll come, it'll all come in fruition in the future,
but as of right now, I don't really am not
really a believer here.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Pat McAfee and Gutter go face to face. Pat McAfee
gases up the Omaha, Nebraska crowd while Gunther is basically
saying that hey man, I'm ready for you. I'm preparing
for you. Do not think I'm gonna overestimate or underestimate
you for that matter. I feel like Goldberg is coming.
I feel like he's going to be the reason of
why Pat McAfee wins. And it's kind of crazy, but
(17:13):
you know, you did see Pat McAfee in college game day,
and you know, well gunthor Goldberg as well, So it's maybe,
I don't know. I just hope they do it well.
You know, I don't want Guther buried because of another
bad WWE promo or set up or anything of that matter.
(17:33):
I just don't want Gutha to suffer because I feel
like he is a great World Heavyweight Championship contender. He's
a great top guy, he really is. And I know
putting the belt on Jay was the right move, but Gunther,
you know, he needs to be in that championship picture.
Anything short of the WWE Championship or back on that
throne holding the World's heavyweight championship would honestly kind of
(17:53):
be a lux would not be good for him. So
I don't know, I just you know, hope for the
best to go. And in the main event, we have
the World Tavy h Championship Match. Jay Uso defends his
title against the Revolutionary the Architect, Seth Freaking Rawlins. And
it was a good match. It was a five star match.
It was super badass, a lot of near falls. See
(18:15):
them Punk coming out, Sammy Zain, it was Bedlin. It
was Bedlin. But at the end of the day, you
had seem Punk cost Seth Rawlins a chance to be
the w w E World Tavy Waight Champion and you
know chairs all around you know, so see him. Punk
obviously has a huge actor. Grind acts to grind for
one of two reasons, for well, two reasons obviously. You
(18:37):
know you had his best friend Paul Hayman stab him
in the back to rely on himself with Seth Freaking Rawlins,
and then you had him and Seth Rawlins having a
huge feud before, like everything happened with WrestleMania and Roman Reigns.
So we are in for a doozy. I want to
see this match coming fruition. I feel like this was
a nice spot for WWE for a lot of fans
(18:59):
being like, Okay, who's going to challenge Jay? Who's going
to challenge Jay? Nine times out of ten, You're gonna
get the answer, Seth Rollins. This was a great way
to get that answer out of everyone's mouth. But like, okay,
so Seth, you know he did have his chance. He
was screwed, yes, but now he's going ahead and handle
all his fixtures over there with seeing Punk. So now
(19:19):
wwe can focus on j Uso becoming his own entity, becoming,
you know, a visionary champion, becoming the world tavyweight champion
without a lingering threat as of this new stable that
was formed from Paul him with Brown Breaker and Seth Rowlins.
So all in all, I feel like it was a
great match. It was a great match. The ending did
(19:40):
what it had to do to overall protect the j
Usso's the World tivyweight championship picture, which by all means
I'm not trying to crap on Juso saying that he's
not a world deserving champion. He is. He is. He's
sober with the fans right now. But as of right now,
there are so many people who have a chance to
knock on that door. I'm excited to find out who
is going to be that that this person, And yeah,
(20:01):
we can definitely talk about it all right. So we
talked about some SmackDown, and we talked about raw. Now
we're gonna talk about some SmackDown. W WE SmackDown live
from the Mois, Iowa. We're gonna talk about it. To
grab your favorite Iowa I don't know, So grab your
favorite snackrabby, fervorit iCal beverage you wouldn't hear in about
twenty five seconds away. Do not go absolutely anyway. I
(20:28):
feel like I'm losing my my everybody in the wild dye.
Please look give me us sie a side. I feel
that I'm losing my everybody in the wild dye. Please start,
(20:49):
give me us side side. I want to be the
greatest everybody on the face and look around.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
I feel like everybody is the fakes.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
I'm making this every day and I'm at patient, hoping
one day I've blow from the basement statement. The top
is so baking.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
I don't even ship that I think is amazing waiting
for my table when I'm playing.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Sold own, sold for a thousand faces, Hey give me
that clowns keating my way in to be put down.
It ain't your place. All this my sound. If I
want that shit that, I'll get it right. Now I'm
losing it. The noose and fits the loose and ship
the stupid nith. You choose to live, a choose to deep.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
You choose to fight a loser, crip and lose a
gift all.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I feel like I'm losing my everybody wild Line, Please
Lord give me us side. I still like losing my
everybody in the world. And we are back with the
(21:51):

We were super grateful for each and every one of

GSMC Sports family. So from the bottom of my heart,
(24:29):
absolutely thank you so damn much. Let's keep the conversation going.
Let's get this party going, guys, and go on with
our second segment. We got WWE Schamacker down Talk and
I'm excited to talk about SmackDown. It was good. It
was you know, I thought it was pretty awesome. One
thousand percent. I had nothing to you know, I know,
(24:49):
you know, the second SmackDown after WrestleMania. You know, it's
I really honestly don't see how WWE is going to
be able to put up so many, so much talent
with this, you know, with them ditching the three hour
show in June, you know, we have about one more
month of it, and it's I feel like the tag
team division might go back down to what it used
(25:11):
to be, which was you know, I don't want to
use bad words or anything, crap crap, but I feel
like the sh I you know, I'm just kidding, no,
But overall, overall, I feel like ever since Smackdom moved
to three hours, you've seen a lot more. You know,
you've seen a lot of superstars kind of get there.
You know, you've see Naomi with this new you know,
(25:33):
persona of her, you know, having caution tape wrapped around
her body and becoming this new entity that is dangerous.
She's probably grosso. She's absolutely you know, she's you know,
she's a she's a badass. She's a badass to say
the least. Also, we got pretty deadly in the mix
as well, those Garza you know, Soft Dos, Escobar, Ray Phoenix.
(25:54):
We have a lot. It's just it is going to
be absolutely amazing to find out how w W is
gonna keep all these talents relevant with you know, shifting
back to the two hour you know mark at the
beginning of June. But you know, neither here nor there,
we're gonna talk about some SmackDown on Friday Night. SmackDown.
Like I said before, it was a pretty dumb show, honestly,
(26:15):
have no have no gillies behind it. We started off
with the confrontation between Damian Priest and the La Night
and to be honest, guys, the La Knight Damian Priest,
I feel like, you know, two of w w e's babyfaces.
They are they are they're you know, to the w
w's best baby faces right now. I respect Damian Priest
and I love him, I do. I feel like you
(26:37):
know him as mister manning the bank was pretty bad ass.
La Knight is you know, is literally staying relevant within
the wrestling world because of his catchphrase of yeah, and
w WE knows that w WE one thousand and ten percent.
They do not want their fans to lose that yeah factor.
So as much as a lot of people feel like
(26:59):
La Knight should turn, you know, to save his career,
I don't think that's the case. I don't think it's
going to happen. I feel like, you know, with this
new day and age of the Paulovec era, I feel
like they are adopting, they're adapting, they're kind of mimicking
a lot of what their sister company, the UFC, is doing,
obviously both of them under the TKO holdings. You know,
you have UFC fighters who are bad guys, who are
(27:21):
bad guys who aren't necessarily bad. They don't play the part.
They're a little more confident, they're a little bit more outspoken,
they're more in your face, and a lot of the
you know, the fans of the fan favorites or the
baby faces of whatnot. You know, you got to get
to let these guys literally go out there and kind of,
you know, kind of do their own thing. Other than that,
you know, how how how many times do you want
to make the audience look silly? You know, you want
(27:43):
to make them look dumb, You want to try to
pass something past their heads, although the whole time they
they you know, saw coming to their glove and they
caught it. You know, how many times could you fool
the fans? And you know, professional wrestling, especially under the
Vincemikman era, which was absolute garbage, was awful, which has
been kind of dabbling into what it is now. And
you know, a lot of people WrestleMania forty one was
(28:05):
not that great. WrestleMania forty with Cody Roads completed the story.
You know, did Triple H Paulovec just get it? Did
he did he just get lucky? Did he just get lucky?
You know, during this Polovc eras a like, was it
really Triple H? Was it really? Or was it? Everything
building up with you know, Cody Roads and Roman reigns,
you know, then seth rawlins, the Rock, the Undertaker. You know,
(28:28):
you can't beat that. You can't beat that. You know,
it started off with such a great legacy, and you know,
and now it seems like it's kind of faltering into
what it was during the Vincent kind of era. You know,
you have a you know, countless superstars without a direction,
Damian Priest losing that street match, to Drew McIntyre. I
love Drew McIntyre, but I feel like Dream mcintarre was
kind of already on that heavyweight pedestal, but Damian Priest
(28:52):
kind of needed to win a little bit more. You
had Jacob Battou win the WWE United States Championship, which
by all means I felt like was great decision. Obviously,
during the match, it was interrupted and one per and
the only person standing tall was the United States Champion,
Jacob Battou, who was so over by the fans. By
the way, the fans absolutely love themselves some Jacob Fattoo,
(29:14):
and it's not shocking. It's not shocking that a lot
of these wrestling guys who come from independent wrestling circuits
as opposed to these home grown WWE guys. It just
shows that you can definitely have an audience from a
different demographic first and foremost, you can have an audience
from you know, it doesn't necessarily have to be part
of that WWE cliche kind of bloodline kind of thing.
(29:37):
Once with Jacob Battou came in a lot of fans
were like, you know, who's this guy, Who's this guy?
Why should we care? Solo soicoa did what he had
to do. Solo Sicoa put him on the map, and
now Soloicicoa is using that for basically controlling Jacob, and
I feel like at the end of the day you
will see Sola Sicoa and Jacob go at it. I
(29:58):
had this belief that Solasicoa will drop the United States
Championship at Backlash thanks to Solo Sokoa building up tour
the match at SummerSlam. Maybe he does something where he
feels like he tries to help Jacob, and at the
end of the day, you know, he either kind of
hits his achilles heel or you know, one of those
things are like, you're ready to be champion, but you're
(30:18):
not just ready yet. And then you know, he goes
face to face and of course all the fans absolutely
love Jacob Batu, so he has a you know, he
has a bright future, so I'm not really complaining too much. Next,
we have the newly acquired w WE SmackDown Tag team Phraxium,
Nathan Frazier Anaxium defeating pretty deadly. I thought that was
(30:39):
pretty bad ass. I'm a huge I'm a huge fan
of Praxium. I am I'm a Phraxium fan. I you know,
I can't help it. These guys inside the ring absolutely magic.
They used to go at each other head to head.
But you know, NXT was absolutely fire with them as
the tack team champions. You know, Hank and Tank, congratulations
for winning the NXC Tack Team Championship. To be brutally honest,
(31:01):
I feel like NXC kind of dropped the ball with
this one. I you know, with Nathan Fraser and Phraxium,
I wanted them. I honestly wanted them to go to
Raw because I feel like the SmackDown the tag team division.
But then again, we do have the draft right around
the corner. Nothing's been said, nothing's been mentioned on SmackDown
or Raw as of right now, as opposed to last year.
(31:22):
Last year around this same day, we already had their
draft going on, you know, obviously with the buzz with
the NFL Draft and stuff like that, but a lot
of shocking picks. But you can get at Praxium by
the end of twenty twenty five to be holding a
WWE row Tag Team Championships and I definitely love it. Next,
we have a confrontation between Naya Jacks and Naomi and
(31:46):
you know kind of looking at these two girls. Absolute
they're great. You know, nia Jack's part of the blood
line technically, Naomi part of the blood line technically, But
it seems like this is the last chance that knew
he really has. You know, she does have her contract ending.
You know, it's been you know, speculating through rumors that
she wants to start a family before the age of
(32:09):
I think she's thirty six or thirty seven to quote
me on that she wants to start a family by
the age of forty with a Jimmy Uso Jimmy USO SmackDown.
He really I didn't see him or maybe he was
like they're you know, part of a backstage vignant. Not
too sure, but you know, this has gotta be Naomi's chance.
You know Naomi throughout her whole career. But you know
(32:30):
the funkadactos. You know, you guys are rot As Clay,
you guys are remember those guys. You remember, you know
Naomi being part of the you know, kind of Diva's
evolution so to speak, up near the end, near the
end dish and then you you know, you saw her
as being like a as a steady smackdowner WWE raw
(32:50):
superstar who was able to put on a good match,
to put on a you know, a decent stable, to
be able to ultimately kind of being you know, flirting
with the championship picture here and there, but not really
kind of a you know, getting to it. But this
is the last chance Naomi has and it sucks. It
really does suck because I do have a lot of
(33:12):
respect for her and I ultimately feel like she could
be she could be a champion and with this new
persona you know, I you know, you saw it at
the end of the show. You saw her as the
last woman standing, which is pretty awesome. But I doubt
she's going to get the championship. And it sucks so
damn bad, but hey, it is what it is. Next,
we have the Mez taking on Alistair Black, two superstars
(33:35):
that are absolutely you know Alistair Black obviously being resigned
by w w WEE. I think you have the Miz,
who's been you know, desperately seeking like a storyline. I
feel like the Miz is highly underestimated. I do, I do.
I feel like a thousand percent. This was the mid
card match, you know, that match where you know it's
in the middle of the show. A lot of people
(33:56):
kind of take it as you know, you you know,
you have the the build up of the show, and
then you have the main event, you know, and then
then right right right in the middle, smack dab in
the middle, you have the Miss. You have Alistair Black,
who should damn near be in the main event. Picture,
but this match in the middle of the show. Screamed
(34:17):
at mid car title, United States Championship all over it
and it was awful. It was terrible. It was I
didn't like it. You know, you bring back Alistair Black
just to be part of this. You know, you have
the Miss being around in the backstage, you know, put
it over Superstars. Yeah, that's cool. Go yeah, Miss, go
(34:38):
you put over superstars. Yes, you go home to a
beautiful wife and your family every single time you go home.
That doesn't necessarily mean you have you know, ambitions. That
doesn't that doesn't mean you have goals. That doesn't mean
and you know, the myths does the Miss he has
all that. He could definitely be that and a bag
of chips. He could be an INC champion, he could
(35:01):
be the end of the United States Champion. I don't
really know what WWE is doing with them is at
this moment, he's not old, he still has a lot
left in the tank. Why why you should I don't know.
I feel like they're maybe like, are you burying him
for some short reason? Like did he get an argument
with Michael Hayes in the back? Like seriously, and Alistair
(35:23):
Black too. These two superstars need to be in the
heavyweight picture, not just for themselves, but for WWE. These
two guys need to be an heavyweight picture. There's so
many guys in the United States Championship picture. It needs
to end. And this match should have been the main event,
but it wasn't. Why it wasn't. It was awful, It
(35:44):
was terrible. But you know, like I said, I do
love to see them as I do love to see
Alistair Black back in WWE. I love the face down
of the stairdown. I love the face off between Carmelo
Hayes and Alistair Black. I thought that was important for
both of their care is heading toward the future. That's
probably the best thing that came out of this match.
(36:04):
And it sucks to say because I want to see
Alistair Black in that main event picture. I want to
see them as back into that main event picture. But
so far, this match in the middle of the show,
the way it ended, how it ended, you know, and
it just seemed like it screamed the United States Championship picture.
And there's so many other guys who are fit for that,
(36:25):
and it's not one of these superstars. But you know, hopefully,
hopefully it all changes. Next, we have Zelina Vega taking
on Piper Nivin. She defeats her with you know, much
to the chagrin of Chelsea Green. At the end of
the match, he saw Chelsea you know, kind of get
involved in which was pretty awesome. Although she has not
invoked her rematch clause, she recently signed in an extension
(36:46):
with w WE, so you can expect to see her back,
you know, you know, basically you're gonna you can expect
to see her back, probably on top of the United
States Women's Championship picture, maybe bouncing the title back and
forth like Dolph Ziggler and the Miz. Did you know,
maybe maybe we see something like that. Next, we have
Randy orton this promo. You know what, it served its
(37:08):
purpose obviously it did, you know, it did what it did.
I feel like this upcoming match between CNA and Minnie Orton.
A lot of people are like, oh my god, this
is the best match, this is the best match that
Randy Orton and so Johnsen are ever gonna have. And
I actually disagree. I highly disagree the promo between John
Cena and then Randy Orton. It's just, you know, I
(37:31):
feel like both of them kind of know, they're like,
you know, this match really it really isn't gonna meant anything.
I feel like they're gonna be fighting, and much like
you kind of saw Randy Orton once when he defended
his championship against John Cena, who slapped the referee to
intentionally disqualify himself, You're gonna see some poetic justice happen
between that match at Backlash in Saint Louis, Missouri. So,
(37:54):
you know, I'm not trying Maybe that's the reason why
I'm kind of a little cynical about it. Maybe that's
the reason why I'm not trying to be, you know,
not trying to get excited about it because I kind
of already know what's gonna end. But it is what
it is. Like I said, you know, we're questioning family. Uh,
you know, Randy Orton's family legacy is a little that
it's a little harsh bud. Something that I definitely do
love is how Ron the truth killing is our truth
(38:16):
is standing behind his childhoody hero. I want to be
like John Cena when I grew up, and then Randy
Orton's looking at him, He's like, bro, Like no, it's
it's funny. Obviously, I feel like there has to be
a little bit of comedic value. Ray Phoenix and Santas
Escort absolutely tore the house down. It was cool to
see Ray Phoenix pick up the dub and we had
the main event, Jade Cargo teams with the WWE Women's Champion,
(38:40):
Tippany Shritton against Naya Jacks and Naomi. This match was
actually super it was It was pretty cool. It was
pretty cool. It was a nice little you know, Jade
got a clean pin, got a clean pin. Can't you know,
can't take anything away from her in terms of that.
You know, she hit Nia Jacks with that super power
bomb from the top row pinned her one two, three,
clean apps little, you know, defining Jade as a future
(39:03):
absolutely heavyweight badass within the woman's division. After the match,
you saw Jade Cargo look at the championship hold it
up and seems like she's hungry. She wants a chance
at Tiffany Stratton. But the only one standing tall, and
I gotta be honest, I love this. I love that
Naomi stood strong. She was the last one standing. This
is her last chance in WWE to kind of be
(39:25):
something more than a fucking dacto, to be something more
than Beyondtho Bella and Jade Cargo's best friend, to be
something more than just that, you know, Bailey. You know, yeah,
friends friends, friends, friend like Naomi needs a legacy to
kind of walk off of them, you know. And she
wants to start her family. Like I mentioned before with Jimmy,
(39:47):
she wants to, you know, before the age of forty.
She's thirty seven, I believe thirty six. Time sticking. What
are you gonna do, Naomi? Are you going to you know,
are you gonna look doubt in the face. Are you
going to you know, go into Are you gonna go
into business on yourself and kind of do something for
(40:07):
all these WWE fans to remember you by, because that's
it right now, you know, she you know, legacy respect,
it's there. But as a champion, no, Naomi will not
be in the WWE Hall of Fame. She won't. This
is her lanch last chance to lash out and do something,
(40:30):
so maybe it'll happen. Maybe it won't happen. But Naomi,
if you want to do something right now, right now
is your chance one thousand? All right, God, So, hey,
do not go anywhere. We're gonna jump on into our
third segment. We got Hull Coogan's Real American Amateur Wrestling?
Is this bad for professional wrestling? What is going on backstage?
(40:53):
Is there a chance that him and Eric Pitschoff could
possibly pull this off? So grab your favorite snack, red,
your favorite Las School beverage. Jordan join me here about
twenty seconds, So, hey, do not go anywhere.

So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you from
the bottom of my heart. All right, without further ado,
(43:49):
We're going to talk about Hole Cogan's real American amateur
wrestling him a realrv kN five further right, stuff, Man,
does he really Ho Cogin? Obviously? You know, is Ho
Cogin bad for wrestling? I am not a huge I'm
(44:10):
not a believer. I gotta be honest, I'm not. I
have fully sold my stock on Hol Cogin and uh
not trying to be you know, not trying to not
trying to throw shade. Obviously, you know he had his
glory days. You know, you see it happen in Hollywood
with all these celebrities and all that like it. It happens.
(44:32):
I'm sorry, but it does. You're you know, it happens
where you have your your fifteen minutes of fame or
your uh you're Tom Cruise and you, you know, starring
all these movies you know impossible, You're the Maverick and
stuff like that, and then something comes out about you
being a scientologist and scientologist and everyone's like, damn you,
Tom Cruise. But at the same time you're kind of like, hey, dude,
(44:52):
I'm just living my life. Maybe from an outside perspective,
maybe that's exactly what's happening with ho Cogan here, you know,
and by all like and like I always you know,
it's not like I never liked Hoe Cogan. You know,
Ho Cogan during the eighties obviously an absolute banger, and
then you know, going to w c W Hollywood Hulk
Hogan eventually naking it back to the WWE with Scott
(45:15):
Hall and Kevin Nash and the way they did w
w E sir dirty and you know, and it was
you know, I don't want to say Eric Bischoff is
like the grand Steen of them all, you know, I
definitely don't want to do that one thousand and ten percent.
But w c W was kind of faltered in the ground,
mostly because of these two gentlemen we're here. Hoe Cogan
had a creative clause on his contract, meaning that hey, hey, brother,
(45:39):
I get to choose who I lose to. Brother, I
get to choose who I get to talk to backstage. Brother,
I get to choose. Like but it's it's it's something
that you know, you never had anybody go to because
wrestling is entertainment. You know, you never had a star
like Robert Danny Junior go to the person who directed
(46:01):
Avengers Endgame Part two, I'd be like, hey, guess what, man,
I'm not dying at the end. But then the director
and the producers like, but it'd be so awesome, like
your legacy will move on, you will be the most
beloved Iron Man, You'll be the most beloved superhero within
the Avengers franchise in the Marvel universe. And stan Lee
(46:24):
and then like your Tony Tony Sark and you know,
Robert Denny June is like, no, no, I'm not dying,
Like I'm not, no, sorry, not doing that. Have somebody
else do it, like doctor Strange and you know, I'm
just kidding no. But ultimately, like in terms of what
I'm trying to kind of depict on this example is
that sometimes just be a star, Sometimes just be wrestler.
(46:48):
Let the people with the creative ideas and the storylines,
and you know, yeah, you've been in a wrestling eye
constance the eighties and yeah, you you know you have
my respect. But you come in demanding things thinking that you're,
you know, your top stuff because you know, because of
set accomplishments, which by all means is you know, you
know that can happen with in professional wrestling a lot
(47:09):
of professional wrestlers go for being wrestlers to you know, creative,
go to being you know, personnel go to being you know, associates,
you know, even backstage. You know once when you know
w WE, you know, you see two superstars break out
into a fight, who's the one to break them up?
You see Nny Dark Short, Jamie Noble, you know, Jason Jordan.
You see a lot of these guys fit Finlings, Hurricane Elms,
(47:31):
and it's like, you know, sometimes you pin your dues,
but at the same time, it's it's not the same thing.
Ho cokein, you know, is an absolute public relations in mess.
You know, like I said, one of the most iconic
wrestlers in the eighties whose rather legacy is absolutely tarnished
a thousand and ten percent, and now he's started in
a wrestling venture, starting a wrestling venture. Obviously, you guys
(47:53):
saw him during that Monday Night ra on Netflix's premiere,
was booed off stage. No one wanted to do any
with his crap with his real American beer Super Awesome
and his partner, Eric Bischoff, claims to be a professional
wrestling guru who ran w CW to the ground, who
you know, had a chance at WWE. I know there's
(48:15):
a lot of you know, backstage you know politics in
terms of that, So I'm not really going to kind
of fault him on that move to TNA with Hull
Cogan with Dixie Carter, and Dixie Carter bathed, you know,
she straight up took her Panda Energy, you know, sponsorship
who mostly funded you know, total NOTTSAP Action Wrestling, and
they were like, yeah, you know, and I'm good, I'm good.
(48:37):
And Eric Bischoff has the audacity to constantly criticize the
ae W chairman, the president or whatever you guys want
to call him, Tony Kahan, And you know, I feel
like at this point, Eric Bischoff really doesn't really have
a doesn't really have him say so, do you look
what you did at w CW. You literally inserted yourself
into the most powerful faction in wrestling history, which is
(49:00):
the New World Order. And it just it was just
all that. It was just all that. And I mentioned
before Dixie Carter, you know with TNA, you know she
was then you had the phenomenal AJ styles and you
know some of with Joe, you know, then you had
these aces and aids, Bobby Rude, Austin Are's you had
all those amazing bad as, the Monster Abyss, Jay Lethal,
(49:21):
Christopher Daniels, James Storm, you have. TNA was at at
you know, there were there were there were skyrocketing, there
was skyrocketing. You know. The peak of TNA, I feel like,
was like two thousand and five to two, like two
thousand and eight, and then stuff started kind of going down.
You know, stuff started going down. Like I said before,
(49:41):
Dixie Carter and you know, her dad, one of the
owners of Panda Energy, took their sponsorship, pulled it from TNA,
and then TENA was kind of left under own arses
and they're like, Okay, what are we gonna do? Now?
What are we gonna do? And the whole cochin like,
is it ego maniac? Egomaniac one thousand and ten percent? Absolutely,
Like I said, just a walking talking negative public relations.
(50:06):
He's bad. He's bad for professional wrestling, and I you know,
I've said it before and I'm not you know, Terry,
he's cool. You know, I never had a chance to
meet the guy. But overall, I you know, talk about
a guy who literally kind of went from you know,
went from one hundred to zero had a chance to
kind of give give wrestling fans like, you know, you
(50:30):
think you're better than wrestling. You think you're better than
the you know, you think you're better than the company
that made you who you are, who sucked your neck out.
And I know it's during the Vince mcman era, you know,
so I'm not necessarily you know, a blessing Vince McMahon
too much on this one as well. But if there's
anybody who's literally kind of like Vince McMahon, it's got
(50:52):
to be like Hokogan, you know. And you know there
if you guys watch the Netflix documentary with mister McMahon,
there's a lot of wrestlers who kind of had this
same notion, who had these same you know, styles of thinking,
who had these same philosophies in terms of life, as
you know, the great woman, do what you have to do,
the say inside the spotlight, don't care about what other
(51:12):
people say. Do you be a badass, and at the
end of the day you will cut checks and you know,
send them to the bank. But you know, sometimes that
kind of comes back and bite. Seeing the ass on
that one so recently you've seen you know, obviously, you
know you've seen ho Cogan, Eric Bitschoff as of I
think it was last Monday. Last Monday, they came out with,
(51:33):
you know, a black and white n WO style promo advertisement,
whatever you guys want to hear, what do you want
to well, you know, whatever you guys want to call it,
and you know, with the cheesy laugh and the attitude
in your face like oh, we're so back, Like really,
(51:55):
like are you kidding? Like you're so back from? What?
What are you back from? Honestly, you saw Hokkin playing
with the taser in the background, like really, Terry, really,
it's his project supposed to stop wrestling fans from thinking
that you're a total absolute like you know, pos, is
this supposed to like help the wrestling fandom come back
(52:18):
to you? Is this another chance for you, maybe a
couple other cruks like Vince McMahon to kind of get
into business, to be like, okay, let's get into we
want our own wrestling business. And it was just it
was all bad. You know, a real American freestyle wrestling,
you know, the NCAA Division one wrestler who now turned
into a business owner. We had I think his name
(52:41):
Israel Israel, No, damn it. Where's his name? But anyways, I,
you know, nothing against the real American you know, the
real American freestyle wrestler gut Here, nothing against him obviously,
you know. You see a little cash here and there
and be like, hey, we have two guys who are
absolutely recognizable within the wrestling industry. Will not be you know,
(53:02):
it's not it's not a bad thing. It's not a
bad thing. A thousand and ten percent to kind of
go into business with two people who are absolutely known already,
you know, they have they have funding already, so it's
not really you know, and then teasing the third guy,
you know, throwing cash around me. You know, I'm teasing
that they are they are financially stable, which my moments,
(53:22):
which is pretty cool, which is pretty cool, which you know,
I I, I don't know what exactly what it's gonna
look like. I'm thinking of like maybe like a UFC
kind of feel here. Maybe you know, you have uf
you know, inside the octagon, actual striking, actual wrestling, WWE.
You know, it's entertainment, it's choreographed, it's predetermined, YadA, YadA, YadA.
(53:44):
But this is supposed to be like you know, wrestling.
But UFC it ties, I guess you can say. You know,
it's you know, you're gonna see guys in there actually
like getting their ass kicked, and YadA, YadA, YadA. You know,
the whole you know, the whole whole, whole Hogan thing.
There's been a room is that maybe it's been backed
by Donald Trump possibly not really throwing anything out there.
(54:05):
And then Hull Cogan, you know, obviously very live within
the you know, Republican Party. You know, he he said
that he was gonna body slam Comrade La Harris, like
and then he mentioned like also, you know, he revenged
some ra you know, racist slurs, you know, and stuff
like that, and you know, it's just like holl Cogan
once again doing what ho Cogan does recently. A couple
(54:27):
of months ago, you saw his ex wife, you know,
she went live on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, ex or
whatever you guys like to call it, and basically said
how l Cogan was a huge you know he was
he was kind of an ass, you know, just all
the stuff behind the scenes, you know, like you see Brooke,
I don't remember the son's name, obviously, I don't really
(54:48):
bother myself to you know, really care about what his
name nick. His name's Nick. His name's Nick. But at
the no and then she basically said out the whole
family doesn't really talk to anybody. And you know, Terry
is a huge part of that. You know, he's you know,
very and you know consumed with drugs and alcohol. You know,
he's very consumed with you know, with you know, obviously
(55:13):
you know, her word's not mine, you know, allegations of
you know, being a sexual predator and stuff like that,
but still not really great in terms of your public image,
especially if you're trying to be if you're trying to
start a new wrestling company, or if you're great in
all American beer. And I don't know, it's just all
in all ho Cogan, no matter what he does. And
you know, during his during the promotion within his new
(55:35):
Beer Legacy tour, I guess the fans left, you know,
ultimately kind of upset, kind of a little bit you know, undersized,
kind of feeling a little bit like they did not
get exactly what they were basically promised, you know, attending
his tours. You know, and is that really, honestly the
legacy that is hok Hogan as of right now. I
can say yes, but does that but should that set
(55:57):
well with ho Cogan? No it should not, But no,
it is what it is. You know, he said his
third host was going to be an absolute his you know,
his business far was going to be an absolute badass,
which made me think that maybe it could be the Undertaker.
Obviously the Undertaker having Donald Trump on his podcast with
you know, basically saying that, hey, honestly, you know, politics
(56:17):
or politics, you know, I'm gonna believe in what I
want to believe by all means. That's true. That's true.
You shouldn't really cater to, you know, kderter your audience
that much if you have a belief or if you
you know, have a side with the political party or
anything like that, Republican Democrat, you know, whatever, you guys
want to call you, you know yourselves. So at the end
of the day, maybe the Undertaker I thought was going
(56:40):
to be that fourth guy and third guy, and I
thought that would have been badass. I thought that would
have been pretty cool. A lot of people kind of thought.
Shane McMahon went through he's had inside the ring to
be in business with Eric Bittschoff and the hul Coogan
and a lot of like I said, Donald Trump, a
lot of people thought Donald Trump was going to be
the third guy to be backing. You know, real American
amateur rest you know obviously saw Donald Trump, you know
(57:03):
once when you cut Stevenson and oh god, I can't
remember the guy who actually pulled the upset, damn it.
But you know he respects that. You know, Elon Muska
as well. You see a lot of you know getting
you know, getting some funny from that. You know, it's
not hurting anybody. It's not hurting anybody, or you know
the you know, Vince McMahon. I kind of thought it
(57:25):
was going to be Vince. I thought it was going
to be Vinced. I thought because you know, him and
Terry have a huge you know, they have a nice
little close relationship. Eric Bischoff and Vincent Grann, you know what,
you know what connects you know, Hoe Cogan within the
wrestling world. It's w c W and w w F.
So not really much of a shock there. I thought
maybe we would have saw Eric Bischoff and Vince McMahon
(57:46):
come into business once again. Vincent Grann has recently been
seen during public outings. You know, you saw him at
the Super Bowl. You also saw him at the Knicks
game Madison Square Garden during the playoffs, So it's not
really much of a surprise that if you would have
saw Vince McMahon as that third partner you know once
when he was mentioned once, when he was asked about
retiring from w W WEE, he basically said, no, I
(58:09):
would never I would never retire from professional wrestling, And
obviously his hand was, you know, ultimately kind of force
based on the you know, the gene grand allegations and
stuff like that, which is a you know, it is
what it is. It is what it is. So I
kind of thought they were gonna do a podcast that's
you know, that's my I thought that was exactly what
(58:29):
they were gonna do. But you know, obviously didn't come
in fruition. You know, now we have this, uh you know,
is the Amateur Wrestling. I really hope it does well.
I really do, you know, based based on the third guy,
because I feel like he is investing in what Ho
Cogan and Eric Bischoffer is ultimately promising him, and if
(58:50):
it goes south like w CW did TNA, I feel
like it'll suck. But you have all these ncuble A
wrestlers like looking for a purpose, look for something to
do outside of you know, once when they graduate college,
you know, you know, depending on their degree, which is great,
obviously that's what you do. That's why you commit to college.
That's why you know, go through all the financial weight
(59:11):
and all the bs. Two thousand and ten percent if
you can, you know, commit to your to your studies
to have a job that you know depends on your
intellects instead of your physical capabilities. That's one thousand and percent,
but exactly what you should do. But you know, once again,
having the chance to kind of be like, hey, we'll
pay you like a WWE superstar. He we'll pay you
like a UFC superstar. You come in here, you wrestle
(59:33):
Dana White, you know, looks at the you know what's
going on in you know, real American amateur wrestling. You know,
maybe you can sign these guys to some UFC contracts.
Who knows this, you know, I don't feel like it's
a bad idea. I don't. The production value should be
pretty cool. You know. The overall you're going to see
some guys get their ass kicked. You know, that's you know,
that's cool and all, Ho Cogan, but at the end
(59:54):
of the day, you should really shine a line on
all these amazing young NCAA Division one wrestlers who are
coming in, you know, after graduating, looking for a spot,
you know, and you should should never be exploited, should
be appreciated some you know. I hope the Holk Cogan,
you know, kind of you know, heading toward that division
or that sorry division direction. But at the end of
the day, Hulk Hogan's real, you know, real American amateur wrestling.
(01:00:18):
You know, it could it could be something good. I
just hope that, you know, Ho Cogan is. We're willing
to you know, not dabble you know, his sense of business,
which has been great. I'm just kidding, you know, also
often but hey, who knows. All right, guys, we talked
about some Ho Cogan. Now we're gonna talk about some
(01:00:39):
of the best WWE finishers of all time. So grab
your favorite snack, grab your favorite highco beverage, drop your
favorite finishers inside the chat, and we're gonna talk about it.
So yeah, do not go anywhere.

We talk about all the action inside and outside of
the ring, all the backstage curtain calls, rumors, dramas, and
you know, wrestling fan conspiracy theories, which is the greatest.
(01:01:58):
We talk about you know, supers are in active, statuses,
injury updates, contract negotiations, extensions, and new signings and releases.
We talked about ae W to WWE, Ringamando to TNA.
We talked about YouTube Professional Wrestling to the GCW, to
Deathlock Professional Wrestling to start them. If it makes major
news in the run of professional wrestling, we talk about
it here on this show. On thy and ten percent.
(01:02:20):
So without further ado, go in and superman punch that
like a subscribe button to the show. Follow the show,
follow the network, be participant inside the chat, leave nothing
but great thoughts. Tell Eric Hallah Hansome he is. You know,
I'm just gonna know, but overall, just wanted to make
sure you guys are having absolute fun inside the chat.
And yeah, now we're gonna talk about the best WWE
(01:02:42):
finishers of all time, which is you know, drop your
favorite finishers inside that chat. If it did not make
the list, or if it did, be like Eric, dude,
you hit it, man, you nailed it. So without further ado,
we have my bet. Well, like I said, in terms
of talking sports, in terms of talking list, you see
(01:03:02):
this on ESPN, fop Sports, barstool Sports. In terms of
talking list, guys, come on, it's subjective, super subjective. It's
my opinion. In one thy ten percent, I did not
include submissions. I did not because other than that it
you know, you would have saw a sharpshooter, you know,
you would have saw maybe like a crippler crossface maybe U.
I did not include tag team moves as well, like
(01:03:26):
you know, the depth drop or the three you know,
the three D from H I did want to include
a three D so damn bad with Bubba Ray and Devon.
I was like, dude, wouldn't that was like one of
the best finishers in the world. But you know, ultimately,
you know, I kind of focus on you know, some
single finishers finishers here. So oh god, really okay, so
(01:03:50):
uh I in terms of uploading this totally bonked this.
So I guess we're starting with number one. We're starting
with number one. I wanted to start from number ten,
but hey, honestly, it's all actually, you know what, oh,
I'll go Eric just you know, figured out a new
(01:04:11):
uh a knew a new thing here. But okay, let's
start with number ten. Obviously, you guys already saw my
first two. Let's just you know, brain warp. I'm you know,
I'm brainwashing you guys to ignore you only you saw
within the last five seconds, not the last segment though,
because hog can still a piece of crab. But within
(01:04:31):
the last and just kidding, no, all right, we got
number ten. I got sweet in music. I got sweetch
in Music. Shawn Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. When
you saw him tuning up the band. It was absolutely over.
It was over. You know, Shawn Michaels, dude, the Heartbreak Kit,
Sheawn Michaels. Nobody could ever kick out of the sweech
in music. You know he's maybe you know during WrestleMania
(01:04:53):
where you had Mike Tyson as referee and you had
Stone Cold reverse the Sweeten Music into a stone could
stutter for that one, two three, You know it was
because Shawn's back was heard. That's why. That's why at
number ten I got sweet Chin Music. At number nine,
I have the choke slam, you know from Kine the Undertaker,
you know the big shows. Chokeslam was okay, Damian priest
(01:05:15):
Is South of heavens Is, you know, it's all right,
But Caine Kane's chokeslam was an absolute banger. I thought
that was a pretty badass. At number nine, I have
the chokeslam. But then again, you look at Joe Hendry too.
I think the show stoppers that what it's called. I
think it is. It's pretty cool. You know, it works,
you know, choke slam. Nonetheless, At number eight, I have
(01:05:37):
a sister, Abigail. I'm a huge Gray Wife fan. I
love the Fiend, you know, and then you see Alexa
Blase use it as well. Sister Abigail super Badass. Kind
of looks like an inverted Crossroads from Cody Roads. I
do not have Crossroads on this list, but at number eight,
one of the best wrestling finishers in WWE of all
time has definitely got to be The Fiends Ray Wyatt's
(01:06:02):
sister Abigail, because if you look at it, there's just
so much there's there's a personal factor to this finisher.
There really is, like you know, kisses him on the
forehead and be like, look, I don't want to do
this too. We get us. Guess what. At the end
of the day, I'm gonna have your life up and
then bam you got that one, two three, and then
bab the Fiend wins. I love the Fiend. He's such
(01:06:23):
a good guy, such a good guy. Number seven, I
got the pedigree, Pedigree, Triple H. Triple H. Obviously on
my Mount rushmore professional Wrestlers. You could disagree with me
all you want, Triple H is the best wrestler of
all time. Literally, if WWE had to give the keys
to somebody who went from w w EE to w
(01:06:43):
c W back to w w F and then starting
from that Innercnadole Championship ron King.
Speaker 5 (01:06:48):
Of the Ring, you know, with China and DX and
then you somehow, some way mosey on into uh you know, uh,
you know, banging the boss's daughter.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
And I'm just getting to know not well lost pray
not you know, not trademarking that remark because I feel
like triple h he paid his dues. He really honestly did, guys,
and you know, nothing to do with him being with
Stephanie McMahon had anything to do with him being the CEO,
ce COO, whatever you guys like to call him of
w w E. At number seven, one of the best
finishers of all time has got to be the pedigree
(01:07:21):
Seth Rowlins. You know he doesn't you know, it's all right.
He did do Today's Monday you know, if you watch
Monday Night Raw, he did turn in a spear from
Jay Uso into a pedigree, which was pretty badass. So
you know, I thought that was, you know, pretty cool.
Number six. I got a Claymore. I love the Claymore.
I gotta be honest, I thought, I think that's pretty
(01:07:42):
bad ass. Drew mcintar going into the corner. He's like
three two, well and then bam Claymore, Bam, it's over.
It's over thousand and ten percent. I'm a huge fan
of like strikes. I wanted to put the hit him
blade on here so damn bad. But I did not
like want to seem like, you know, to like like
I don't know, I don't know, I want to see
(01:08:03):
like I was like, well, I was flirting with strikes
the whole time. But at number six, I got the Claymore.
Number five, I got the gore, not the spear, not
the spear. I got the gore. There was something different
about the gore from Rhino, from e c W TNA
w W. This guy, his spear was different. It was
(01:08:24):
just different. If you say, the gore is like a
spear from Jusso that's bullspit, you know, like Roman Reigns.
No no, no, no no no no like Edge no,
no Goldberg, no no. The best spear ever performed to
buy a wrestling superstar is Rhino. The gore. The gore
was an absolute oh god, it was it was. It
was badass. You know, Bobby Lashley, you know, you know,
(01:08:46):
and of course you have Moose as well. But the
Gorge just hit differently, dude, I'm sorry, but it did.
Number four, I got the Tombstone, Tombstone, the Undertaker obviously
the Pinnon and be like, ah, it was cool, you know, no,
it was cool.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Was you know?
Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
It's it's a very iconic finisher, like when you think
about all the wrestling, all the WrestleManias, you know, all
the what was he like twenty four and three or
something like that, it all had to do with him
with the tombstone. Pole Driver and Caine too used to
use it as well in ae W. I think they
kind of use it as like a universal like move.
(01:09:22):
Maybe that's like a like an FU to WWE. Maybe
I'm not too sure. Maybe that's my wrestling fan conspiracy
theories to be like, oh, Tony Cohn's turning into a
sacred move in WWE, help by the Undertaker, and then
then you know you use the tombstone as like, oh
he kicks out it too. But I love the Tombstone.
I thought that was pretty badass, you know, you know
(01:09:42):
you've seen the Undertaker win with it so many times.
At number four, I had the Tombstone. Number three I
got Randy Orton's RKO Randy Orton, you out of nowhere.
You cannot predict where this guy's coming from. You've seen
the highlights of seth rawling trying to hit that stop
and then you know, throwing them up in the air,
hitting up with that arc and then Evan Bourne hitting
that shooting star press. Randy Orton gets up and hits
(01:10:04):
them with that RKO. You know, there's just something different
about Randy Orton, Randy Oron, I don't know where RKO
and it's just such an amazing, devastating move that I
feel like it should be should be on the top three.
So at number three I got Randy Orton's RKO and
number two I got Stone Colt Steve Austin Stone Colt Stunner.
You know, obviously Kevin Owens uses it. It's good, it's good,
(01:10:27):
but nothing definds the attitude error more than a stone
could stunner from Vince mcmatt stunner stonier On McMahon and
then Vincentrin goes down like this, or when you hit
a stone cult stunner on the rock. He hits it
and then he you know, slodes up into five feet
in the air and you're like, oh my god, is
the rock Oka like the Stone Could stunner has got
(01:10:47):
to be one of the best wrestling moves of all time.
And it's so iconic because you have one of the
most you know, recognizable, the most beloved wrestling superstars during
the Attitude Error. You know, obviously snow Colts, Steve Boston,
dealing with that neck injury ultimately kind of plagued him, ultimately,
you know, crippled him from him participating within the Ruthless
(01:11:08):
Aggression era. Obviously, I feel like maybe he could, you know,
he had at least maybe like ten more years left
in him before he actually retired. But overall, you know,
the Stone Cult Stunner number two in my book, and
you guys already know what it is. And like I
said before, I you know, brainwashed you guys, you guys
did not know what came in at number one. And
(01:11:29):
you know it's my opinion. I from Eddie Guerrero, I
loved the frogs splash from Eddie Guerrero. I thought it
was really really cool. Thought it was pretty badass. I
don't feel like anybody else besides Eddie Guerrero hit that
frog splash and it was meant to be special, Like
I love Jay loved Jimmy, I love you know, Mercedes Money, like, yeah,
(01:11:52):
that's going on. You know you analyzed Eddie Garreo was great,
but there was nothing like a five star frog slash
from Rob Van Damn. The number one, I gotta be honest.
The best finisher in the world has gotta be Rob
Van Dan's five star frog splash, like you see it
with Mantes for with the you know, with the what
(01:12:14):
is it above Heavens? I think it's South the Heavens. No,
that's Damien Priest. Oh, I remember what it's called. But
you know it's cool too. What Montes is really doing
with the frog splash. I think that's pretty badass from
the heavens. I think it's from the heavens and uh,
you know he hits it. It's pretty cool because he
goes down on him, he covers his abs to like
ah like, and it's it's cool because it depicts on
(01:12:36):
that realism of professional wrestling. But there was nothing like
a five star frog splash from Rob Van Damn. That
number one, the best finisher in wrestling WWE history, it's
gotta be the five star frog splash. Tell me what
you think. Go ahead and let me know in the
comments section how you guys feel what your favorite wrestling
finisher is of all time. We talked about the best
(01:12:59):
and now we're getting into the nitty gritty. We're gonna
talking to the worst WWE finishers of all times. You
grab your favorite snack, grab your ferit asco foreverage. You
joined me here in about twenty five seconds, so I
do not go absolutely anywhere, and we are back with
(01:14:31):
the GSMC Wrestling Lauriate Podcast, brought to you with the
GSMC Sports Network. I'm your favorite wrestling fan here ever
Gundri is every Monday night live. I'm the GSMC Sports Network,
the GSMS podcast Network on to YouTube, so make sure
you got Superman punched that like a subscribe button to
the show, so you got to get some cool notifications
when we go live. We talked about all the action
inside and outside of the ring, all the backstage current calls,
(01:14:53):
all the rumors, all the drama, all the backstage wrestling
conspiracy theories that a lot of the fans like to
throw out guilty guilty as starch. We talk about Superstar
and active statuses, injury updates, contract negotiations, extensions, and new signings,
also releases, and then we talked about you know promotions
like wwt ae W, TNA, Terming of Honor, New Japman
(01:15:16):
Professional Wrestling to start them, the GCW. Basically anything under
the sun it makes major news. Under rether professional wrestling
we talk about here on this show one thousand and
ten percent. So, without further ado, we have our fifth
and final segment. We're gonna talk about the worst WWE
finishers of all time. We talked about the best, and
now we're gonna go ahead and dabble on in on
(01:15:37):
the worst. And there's been so many bad, you know finishers,
And when I popped this up, it's gonna be number one,
and I uploaded it rock and I'm so sorry. I
don't want you to see it. I want you guys
to cover your eyes in five, four, three two, one,
Oh shit, Okay, I'm sorry, excuse me. We're gonna start
(01:15:58):
with number ten ignored. Do you guys s a number one?
Number ten? We had the last ride, We had the
last ride from the Undertaker. I gotta be honest, this
was one of the worst finishers of in terms of
professional wrestling, Like, so, what does it do? Like a
power bomb, like the pop up the pop up power bomb,
like I get it, like you know, you put them
all the way up there, and it's supposed to create
(01:16:18):
this uh you know, super badass, like you know it's
gonna rearrange my insides kind of thing landing on the mat.
But it's like I didn't get into it, you know,
and he kind of overall extended it too, like he
would have him right here and then he would purposely
like lit them up to be Like last ride, I
didn't like it. I thought it was terrible. I did
not like the last ride. I gotta be honest, guys,
(01:16:39):
from the from from a wrestling standpoint, I thought that
was really lazy by the Undertaker, because you gotta be
you gotta think about it. This guy already had so
many finishing moves, the choke, slam, tombstone, pod driver, you
had him. He also did the triangle choke, and now
he has do like do really I think the But
then again, I feel like this last ride was really
(01:17:01):
like it was like an homage to like his American
bad ah am American badass, like this was his American badass,
Like I want to forget I'm you know, I was
ever the Undertaker. I want to you know, I don't
want to. You know, I'm not Darkness anymore, you know.
I forget the choke slam, forget the tombstone pile driver.
Let's have the last ride. And then that was kind
(01:17:23):
of like it and then it kind of suck with
them to the end. But at number ten, I got
the last ride. Another at number nine, one of the
worst finishers in my opinion, has got to be Scottie
too hot. He's the worm. You know, I get why
people like it, you know, the w O R M.
Then they do the worm, the worm, and he would
just like chop him in the neck and be like
this grand like finale, and it was like, oh, it's
(01:17:43):
supposed to be so cool, but I thought it was stupid.
I did not like it. I gotta be honest. But
like I said, all this, you know in terms of
talking sports, in terms of talking list, you know, ESPN,
Fox Sports, you know, barstool, you guys name it U.
It's a you know, it's it's all opinionated in terms
of you know, your own list. So at number nine,
I got the Worm, one of the worst. I thought,
(01:18:03):
you know, pretty terrible. Number eight I did not like
the angle slam. I thought it was stupid. I thought
it was like a glorified backdrop, you know, uh card angle. Obviously,
then he switched to the you know, to the ankle lock,
which overall kind of fit you know what kurd angle
was about. But the angle slam, I thought it was
pretty stupid. You know, you grab her right here, the
old stand and all that. It's just like a glorified
(01:18:26):
backdrop and we're all supposed to be like ooh, ooh ooh.
It was just a backdrop, just a backdrop room, that's all.
And number seven, I got Bailey to Bailey. I like Bailey,
she's cooling on. Definitely missed her running around with all
the inflatables and the Bailey you know, the kidding, no,
(01:18:51):
the Bailey buddies. But then she destroyed them because she
turned heel and such a jerk and she made that
little girl cry. That's why she's on this list. That's
why I'm just getting karma. I'm just getting know, moving on.
But the Bayley de Bailly like a belly to belly souplex.
Like I get into school and it's not really that
common in terms of women wrestling, but I didn't really
like it. Every single time she hits the Bailey to
(01:19:13):
Belly I'm like, oh my god, like really, like, you know,
you have oblivion, you know, with Live Morgan, which is
actually pretty bad ass, Soul Rucas, Soul Snatcher, it's pretty awesome,
as you know, it's pretty awesome as hell. And then
you have so many other suits, you know, you have
so many other like women's are like finishers that are
pretty bad ass. But again, at number seven, one of
(01:19:34):
the worst finishers in WWE has got to be Bailey
to Bailey. It's got to be Bailey to Billy. Number
six got dirty deeds, Dirty deeds by Dean Ambrose or
John Moxley just to glorify DDT. Don't really get the
hype of it, not really, you know, you know, it
(01:19:55):
kind of runs your Cactus Shack. Cactus Shack kind of
had that same thing, the double armed, the under hook,
double earned a hook, you know, DDT, which is you know,
which is pretty cool, which is pretty cool. I have
a comment from you know, entertaining runner saying f SGA.
You know, so I'm guessing the Oklahoma City Thunder one
Game one against the Denver Nuggets, which you know, not wrestling,
(01:20:19):
but at the same time, I do dabble in some
NBA as well. You know, SGA, he's a gifted player.
And you know, I was the same way with Kobe
Bryant for the longest time. I was like, man, this
guy sucks. I hate him. You know, this guy's a
terrible person. Because I'm a San Antonio Spurs fan. Every
single time we were running to them in the Western
Conference semi finals, they would always, like, you know, they
(01:20:39):
would always win, and I'd be like, oh my god,
and that's stupid. Back in two thousand and four, Garrick
Fisher the oh point four like you would see all
the you know, you see the shirts of the Lakers
with all the O point four on the back, and
he'd be like, dude, you're so annoying, Like are you
kidding me? Like, oh god, But but yeah, Aaron Gordon bawling.
(01:20:59):
You know. I like Eric Gordon. I feel like Eric
Gordon is a huge piece of what Denver is trying
to do. I feel like, overall, but Yo, Kich needs
a guy like Jamal Moore, Jamal Murray needs to step
it up. He does one thousand percent. Porter. I do
like Porter as well. The bench of what den of
Denver has really kind of concerns me. You know, once
when you have the starters kind of come up the
(01:21:20):
floor the bench, Yeah, they do, ultimately, they do kind
of cover it. But I feel like maybe their day
defense could be a little bit more, you know, they could,
they could, you know, they could commit a little bit more.
But but yeah, moving back to professional wrestling, Number six,
they got dirty deeds and number five, I have big shows. Punch.
I don't like the punch. You know, this is what's
(01:21:41):
set off with him and Floyd Money Mayweather, like you know,
Wrestling Mania fight. And it was cool and all, but
at the same time, I thought it was really really stupid.
Thought it was terrible. I hate the big shows like
you and I'm a huge fan to strike finishers like
I am, you know, like the bro kick, like you know,
the clothesline from Hell. Also Drew McIntire's Drew McIntyre's damn,
(01:22:06):
oh my god, the Claymore, the Claymore one thousand and percent.
But yeah, oh my god, we're getting a lot of
the NBA talk here. That's awesome, all right, So we
got the night and the Nuggets went crazy. Mister Nugget
went crazy. Who the hell is mister nugget? I don't
want I'm think of Ronald McDonald's wearing a wearing a
you know, a chicken McNugget suit, but Nigel Cassiri casserra,
(01:22:32):
that says mister Nuggart went crazy. Uh So at number five,
I have big shows punch. At number four, I have
Santino Morella's Cobra Corpra strike. I thought, you know, obviously
it is what it is, the you know, bad b.
Speaker 6 (01:22:48):
So.
Speaker 1 (01:22:49):
Uh you know, at number four, I have a you know,
number three, I got a great colleague, great colleiae, the
chop to the head. I thought that was pretty damn stupid.
Number four the People's ovo. Gotta love the rock Wayne,
the Rock Johnson, but the People's level was kind of
a was pretty lame, you know, you think about it
from a perspective, and it was a you know, pretty terrible.
And at number one, I got the atomic leg drop
(01:23:10):
from Ho Cogan absolute not bangor it was terrible you
call it a you call it obviously you know back
in the eighties, I get it, you know, different move
style and stuff like that. But you know, with the
Ho Cogan atomic leg drop. You just wasn't really a
just wasn't really all that in the bag of chips.
So yeah, kind of crazy, all right, gosh, so thank
(01:23:30):
