Speaker 1 (00:05):
Special Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome to the episode of the

(01:08):
GSMC Wrestling Laurier Podcast, brought to you by the GSMC
Sports Network.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'm your favorite wrestling fan here at Rick Rodriguez on
the last Monday. This is the last show, which is
kind of the reason why it took a little bit
of longer than usual. First and foremost of my internet sucks,
and still now I can't even see the you know,
my restream channel information or I can't even load up
my chat, so I'm going to be trying to fix
those details throughout the show on the last show, on

(01:34):
the very last show, the GSFC Wrestling Lorier Podcast. But
always remember to subscribe to the GSMC Sports Network at
GSMC Podcasting Network, because we're gonna have one awesome major
sports show that's gonna cover everything. Maybe it might come back.
You guys are gonna talk about professional wrestling. We can definitely,
you know, I can come back as a host and
all the wrestling fans can join me there. But you know,

(01:54):
without a doubt, you know, first and foremost, beating you guys,
ADIU hope you guys, you don't have a you know,
just be just be good. Life. You know, I'm not
gonna give you guys the whole, you know, last little,
last little spiel because everything, you know, kind of started
a little late here. But yeah, we're gonna end this.
We're gonna end this show off with a bang. It's crazy, man,
this is it full year remembron. I used to do

(02:15):
this Monday through Friday. It was so much fun, a
lot pretty time consuming, really time consuming, and but most
importantly it was you know, it was very fun to
help me grow as a sports podcaster. So giving nothing
but thanks and giving nothing but flowers to the g
s MC Sports Network, the people, the CEO and the
CEO obviously, you know, I love love my guys up there.

(02:38):
Hopefully they all do well in my absence, but all
in all, just want to, you know, make sure this
is the best wrestling podcast in the world, from one
wrestling fan to another. You know, a lot of a
lot of the times, you know, in the sports industry,
it seems like you kind of get more or less
like the retired athletes. If it's the NFL, the NBA,

(02:58):
magically baseball and even wrestling, even a wrestling podcast. All
over the world you're seeing You've seen a lot of
add wrestler start their own podcast, which is cool and
it's good and all, but you know, nothing from like
a wrestling fans perspective, you know what I mean. And
you know, nine times out of ten, when you do
have a wrestling fan on the podcast with the co
host who used to wrestle, usually they're kind of like

(03:19):
the the not like the know it all kind of thing.
But I don't know, you see that in sports, and
they get more opportunities than the person who actually, like
you know, thinks from the outside perspective. So, you know,
definitely going to try to continue within the wrestling news.
Vidiu might start, you know, applying places. Definitely gonna start
my own YouTube channel. So make sure you guys, you know,

(03:41):
you know my name. Obviously you know my name. So
if you want to keep looking up for some more
error content, definitely a thousand and ten percent. Make sure
you guys. Superman punched that like to subscribe button to
my new to my new content. I can't wait to
start it. You know, it's a little nervous, you know,
starting off, you know, basically from scratch, starting off for
something new. I'm excited, definitely, Like I said, just you know,

(04:02):
always keeping your out. But without further ado, we're gonna
get onto the last wrestling show, the GSMC Wrestling Lawyer
Podcast ever and yeah, we're gonna dig on into it.
We have a great show for you today, all lined up.
We're gonna talk about what happened on Monday and Night Raw,
you know, partially you know, partially me, I kind of
like starting a little bit after Monday Night Raw, like

(04:23):
not like right at eight pm, because I know a
lot of like wrestling news podcasters start their review round there.
So you know, hopefully they're logged off and they're like, oh,
I wonder who else is online? They're checking me out,
So I think that'd be for you know, hopefully that's
a you know, pretty badass damn it. I can't you know,
just have definitely hope that the chat starts working in

(04:43):
the stream. I don't want to restream or anything like
that because you know, I'm already I'm already on a
role here. So seeing segment one, we're gonna talk about Raw.
Segment two, we have WWE Saturday nights in main event
and to give you guys my reactions, we're gonna talk
about WWE and t battleground, great stuff happening. We're gonna
talk AE w double or nothing. Then we're gonna talk

(05:06):
in my fifth final final segment. We have WWE money
in the bank, predictions, we have a couple of matches
already set in stone. We have a couple of spots
opening the men's and women's ladder matches, So we're gonna
you know, kind of fill in the void there talk
about some potential matches that might you know, pop up
obviously from you know, two weeks. So yeah, without further dud,

(05:28):
let's go ahead and dig on into it. But of course, always, always, always,
before we get on into any of the actions, just
want to remind you guys to go ahead and hit
up that tips in the Nation's link, whether if you've
got a burning question or hot take in terms of
the world of professional wrestling here the GSMC Sports Network,
we want you guys to not be shy drop your
thoughts inside that chat. Make sure we want to make
sure that you guys know that we are all ears.

(05:50):
It was, you know, dying to get something off your chest,
you could share it in the side the chat. The
show is all about keeping the conversation going, making sure
you guys feel like you are. You know, this is
your voice is part of the podcast, so definitely that's
you know, a the up to most importance. So yeah,
don't be shy, don't drop your thoughts inside that chat.
And if you want to throw us a bone, obviously
we do take donations, you know, a lot of donations.

(06:13):
Definitely help the GSMC Sports Network. You know, kind of
stay afloat the GSMC podcast network as well. Make sure
you guys check out those podcasts as well, and you know,
definitely helps us, definitely helps us. So you know, be
a deer and help us out there. You know, we
have a lot of passionate, enthusiastic, charismatic podcasters who love
doing one thing and one thing only. Make sure you
guys feel like you're absolutely one thousand and ten percent entertained.

(06:36):
And just know that every single you guys, every single
time you guys comment on a on a video or
on a live stream, you know, it doesn't really matter.
We're definitely going to We're gonna respond the best we can.
And you know this, You know, the Sports Network is
basically you guys. You know, it's us coming all together
to do something you know, for the little guy, you
know what I mean. Like, so you know, definitely hope

(06:56):
that you know that we continue, you know, this awesome podcast.
Super grateful, thank you, and foremost we were super grateful
for each and every one of you guys who joined
us here daily on the GSMC Sports never your support
makes all the difference. So let's get this party started,
sending those super chats to those superstickers because you guys
are super awesome and together we will make sure this
is the best last wrestling podcast in the world. Yeah,

(07:20):
of course, so let's go in and dig on into it.
But but but obviously you know, although May, you know,
we all know May is Mental Health Awareness a month. Also,
you know, happy Memorial Day, you know, remembering those who
put their lives on the line to make sure that
we can embrace and cherish all these freedoms that we
here have here in the United States. Not trying to

(07:42):
get political, obviously, taking some time out just to kind
of throw some flowers here. Obviously, if you know a
veteran or if you know someone who served in the
United States military, you know, why not get you know,
give a you know, take them out the lunch, you know,
buyam a coffee or a Dona. You know they're standing
behind you on to seven eleven. Why not pay for
their you know, their blueberry? You know it's not even

(08:02):
a shake. What is it called slurpy? Is that I
haven't used that word forever. It's crazy pay for their slurpy.
But I always remember that, you know, those are there's
people that you know, laid their lives out on the line.
They you know then you know, paid the ultimate price.
And just to make sure that you know, the everybody's
safe here in America. So you definitely wish and hope

(08:27):
the best of all the families. Obviously, we're paying tribute
to the people who served. So thank you first and foremost,
thank you, Thank you, thank you, And you know, hopefully,
you know, us as a nation could grow stronger together
as a society and just learn to appreciate, you know,
the military and stuff like that. Like I said, I
trying to get political, but I've noticed, you know, most
of thely, like you know, US veterans coming back from

(08:49):
fighting overseas. You know, it's uh, you know, homelessness and
you know PTSD and it just gets you know, and
it seems like they don't necessarily get the treatment that
they deserves. And so you know, I don't know the respect,
like I said, not try to get political anything like that.
Just funny, you know, you know, have a platform open
the eyes of you know, if he you know, if
he didn't know, you don't no, you know, I guess

(09:09):
you could say. So without further ado, we're gonna talk
about Monday Night Raw First and foremost, we had Seth
Rowlins's new faction up here with Paul Hayman, Bronson, Red
and Brown Breaker. You know, you're starting to see seth
Rawlins starting to get like the heel treatment from the fans.
You know, Seth Rowlins, you know, talking about this is
my vision, Uh, this is how we're going to secure

(09:30):
the industry. And then the fans started responding saying that,
you know, you sold out, you sold out. You know,
I'm not really too sure about this seth Rawlins faction.
I feel like he was in the Shield, that's it like,
and he was, you know, the Shield was amazing, simply amazing,
one of the best factions inside professional wrestling, you know,
professional wrestling history, you know, but right now, you know,

(09:52):
I seth Rawlins in the past, you know, with the
you know, with the visionary whole thing with Buddy Murphy
and then him trying to poke out very mister Eye,
and it just like it just seemed I don't know,
it didn't really work out like he seemed like. I
feel like Seth is kind of a great entity, like
on on his own. I don't necessarily feel like he
has to latch really in anybody else because basically, all

(10:13):
the you know, I feel like all the action, all
the chances of him becoming successful inside the faction were
already wasted in the Shield, you know, that kind of
thing where it was like, okay, you kind of had
all that fun. I don't think he could really go
back to like being a faction guy anymore. And WWE
has kind of been swarming in this faction kind of
reminds you like an ae W. Maybe they introduced like
a like a trio Championship. Maybe they won't. I personally

(10:38):
feel that, Like I said, I love Seth Rawlins, you know,
I kind of liked them before this whole thing. I
feel like this story kind of leaves braun Breaker. It
kind of leaves I don't know, a little weak in
my opinion, you know. And I know he's the right
hand man. He's you know, he's the dog. You hear
the dogs marking, you don't, you know. Then Bronton read
with the addition after he's you know, Suna meets Rowlins

(11:00):
over and over and over again and they're you know, feud,
and it's just, uh, you know what, I just hope
that it does. I hope it does good, you know.
And I'm not trying to seem as simplistic as you know,
be like, oh hope it does good. I just fear
that it, you know that it might kind of go
belly up, but you know, who knows, who knows. Maybe

(11:22):
I'm not down the line to be like, oh my god,
this is the best thing that's ever happened. Basically, he
wants to ensure another money in the bank contract winning,
saying that you know, the money in the bank briefcase
and holding the WWE championship is is power. So you know,
I'm not too sure how this is gonna wind up.
But you know, I know that WWE kind of has

(11:43):
to take baby steps towards what they're trying to do
with seth Rawlins, the way they're trying to build up
the young talent, like it that is Bronson Reed and
brun Breaker because seth Rawlins he's still in his prime.
He's not all the way out, you know, kind of
like a triple h and evolution. When he started evolution,
it wasn't like Blach was, you know, super old. It
was like to a point where you know, he has

(12:03):
a chance to kind of, you know, bring up these
two young stars Randy or And and Battista, and then
you know, obviously there was no wise Man, so Paul
Hyman kind of plays the you know, the Rick Flair
role there. Uh So, I don't know. I just hope
it does get because I love seth Rawlins. I don't
want anything to kind of go, you know, down on dah. Okay,
So we have the money in the bank qualifying match,

(12:24):
we have Pensa winning defeating dragon Ly and Chad Gable.
Chad Gable busted open. Thought that was pretty cool. So
now we have Solo Sakoa Pensa l A Knight and
obviously at the end of the night you found out
that start of the Rowlins was gonna be the fourth guy.
We got two spots open there. I can't wait to
see what Pensa does within the ladder Match. You know,
I know that, you know, we've had iconic moments inside

(12:46):
the Money in the Bank Hunter, you know, obviously, memories
of Shelton Benjamin, of Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam. I
feel like Penta is going to be that new guy.
I mean, you mean to hold a briefcase, I'm not
too sure. Maybe I feel like he is still you know,
kind of young within the industry, but all in all,
happy that Pens have picked up the victory. Here next

(13:06):
you see a backstage vignant with Rox and Perez and
Live Morgan fighting over Dominic Mysterio and the Chicken McNuggets.
You know, I, you know, I I you know, I
don't mind the love angles that wrestling ultimately kind of does, I,
I know, usually kind of ends a little wonky. I think.
I feel like the only time the relationship on screen

(13:28):
kind of worked was with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
and then and then you know, the rare ripling the
Dominic Mysterio thing with Live Morgan kind of being the
you know, the Sancho or whatever you want to call her.
You know, it was, uh, it was entertaining, It was
you know, it was entertaining, and now you want to
try to do something more with this whole Roxanne Press thing.
I think it's I you know, I definitely don't think

(13:48):
they should try to what's the old saying when you
go to the same water fountain twice or something like that,
or I forgot what it's called, but uh, you know,
I don't know. You don't want to go to that
way too much, to the point where it's like, you know,
it's it's super predictable, or to the point where it's like, Okay,
here we go again. You know, never want that to
kind of come and fruish there. You know. I definitely

(14:09):
love the look on Finn Balor's face. I love that
he you know, he wants to drive a wedge between
Live Morgan and dominic mysterio. I don't know when they're
gonna have this whole Judgment Day falling out thing. I
thought it was gonna happen pretty soon, but with Jad
McDonough coming back, you know, I don't know how soon
it's going to be, but I know it's gonna be involved,

(14:30):
you know, in terms of the w WU in or
Continental Championship picture, so you know, interesting to kind of
find out what happens next. Next we have Russif bullies
tiz Aba good you know, awesome. Congratulations to Russif. Don't
see how him returning from ae W. How this does
a how this does good for his career. Next we
see Bert Kreshner and Thompson go backstage and you know,

(14:51):
chatting it up with the war Raiders. I love what
is it? Two bears in one cave? I believe their
podcast is called and it's you know, super funny. You know,
I'm a I'm a listener, you know, super badass if
you were you know, driving in the car, if you're
looking for something funny, just you know, they just talk
about their lives and just the stuff that they've been
through in the past, and it's it's funny. It's actually
pretty cool. But it's also you know, you learn, you know,

(15:12):
you learn some things. You know. It's not just like
mindless like comedy or anything like that. It's like comedy
served with a purpose, which is, you know, the best
of both worlds. Man. Next you see Sammy saying and
Jay Usa speaking backstage. Jay basically saying, Hey, Sam Sammy,
if you ever need me, I'm always here. We have
trouble with that tag team Matt for the WWE World

(15:32):
Tag Team titles. We have the New Day retaining against
the Creeds and the war Raiders. This is a new
start for the tag team division. Obviously, the New Day,
you know, we don't. The Creeds have been in it
over and over and over again. They keep getting shots.
I don't know where it's coming from. And the war Raiders,
you know, this was kind of like their rematching how
they failed. Now we're looking for a new tag team.
We're looking for, you know, like the tag team Rejuvenation Division,

(15:55):
like what happened on on SmackDown and on Monday Night Raw,
the the the backdown. The tag team division, stort excuse me?
Is super weak. It's super weak. It's you know, I'm
even confident enough to go out on a cradle here
and be like it's it's garbage. It's not really that great.
And you know, what are they going to do with
Austin Theory and Grayson Laler? Is that going to be

(16:16):
a thing. Are we going to see Tyler Bate and
you know Pete Dunn. Rumors surrounding WWE that Pensa and
Ray Phoenix are going to become the Luca Brothers once
again on WWE soil. You know, the sole triple A
thing is or are we going to get more Luca
doors in the industry? Are we going to get somebody
from T and A, We're going to get people from NXT?

(16:37):
You know, nothing announced, nothing formally announced in the WWE draft,
so you know, you know, maybe they're waiting for something,
maybe possibly after money in the bank. Possibly they could
be waiting for that, but I don't know as of
right now. It seems kind of weird. Next week, see
Jusso interrupted while he's speaking inside the ring from Gunther.
Gunther basically saying that he could tell that j Uso

(16:58):
is definitely trying. And then in other words, the way
he was kind of talking around he's kind of beat
not really beating around the bush a little bit, but
he was basically telling Jay, hey man, you're kind of
too nice to be champion here. You know, you kind
of have to in a spot where you kind of
have to care about yourself. You know, you have no friends,
you know, you can't trust anybody. Makes me kind of
foreshadow that, you know, maybe j Uso will lose the

(17:21):
WWE World w H Championship due to somebody that he
used to trust. Like maybe you like Sammy's ay, you know,
we don't know what Sammy's gonna do. You know, He's
he rebelled against what seth Rawlins offered him from leaving
the SmackDown, And maybe I don't know. I feel like
Sammy's ain is a you know, kind of in a
judgment of character as well. Also with carrying cross too

(17:42):
lurking around the corner, possibly something can happen. But but yeah, Jace, also,
you know, he seems too confident. He seems really confident
right now. The fans absolutely love him. I don't really
see them taking the title off of Jay anytime soon.
Within the next couple of months, Kyrie saying defeats Live
Morgan thanks to an interround by Rock san Perez. Raquel
Rodriguez super upset in the backstage. You have Live saying

(18:05):
that you're Riquel, You're the veteran. You should know better.
You know. Then once again, that gritty, gritty smile on
Finn Baler's face tells the story. I love it. I
think it's super cool. Barbara rock Carrier calls all, Becky Lynch,
you know, you know the you made a personal. No,
you made a personal you brought him my fiance, you
problem my fiance, you know, I mean, I guess it's personal,

(18:26):
you know, So what do you want me to really
to say? Here? I got I think Becky looks kind
of dumb. I don't know if she's going to join
SETH Orwllins is new, you know, his new vision of
what the industry should look like in the future. You know,
you kind of have you if you think about the
men's division, then you got to think about the women's
division as well. So maybe Becky Lynch joins that as

(18:46):
the Intercontinental champion. Maybe perhaps you know, bron Breaker Bronton
Reids tag team to become new tag team champions, and
they just run rapid all over Money and i Ra.
So you know, it's like I said, I don't know,
it's still you know, I want Larra to retain, but
she kind of got her glory at Backlash, and now
I feel like WWE's kind of looking at it. They're like,

(19:08):
you know what, Okay, now it's okay if Lra Valkia
finally drops devout to Becky Lynch what they were trying
to do like six months ago. But you know, it
is what it is, the main event match, super badass,
super awesome. We have Sammy Zaane taking on seth Rawlins
against you know, taking on Finn Ballet inter Trip, the
Threat match. You know, Sammy Zay was screwed. You know,

(19:29):
he had the match won, Paul Hayman, Brown Breaker getting
involved Bronson Red and it was just it was crazy.
It was crazy from like top to bottom. It was insane.
But you know, Seth, but this match was awesome. That's
something that definitely want to document. This match was a
main event worthy. Definitely for sure. It was like twenty
it was weren't like twenty twenty nuts, I believe it was.
But Seth Rowlins picks up the victory. Now he has

(19:51):
a chance to become a you know, a second time
money in the bank winner. You know, if he wins
the money in the Bank. I feel like right now
on this point, it doesn't really it doesn't really seem
fit for him to win it. I feel like he
might win it, but then seeing Punk's gonna scream over Bam,
They're gonna have a few, and it's gonna go on
for a little bit to kind of distract, you know,
the whole Seth should be fighting Jay Usso for the

(20:13):
w w World TV Le Championship. But you know, like
I said, still up in the air. We still have
a you know, two more weeks too money to bank,
so we'll find out we have two more spots open.
Lord only knows who's going to fill those, all right, guys,
So hey, do not go anywhere. Were gonna talk about
w w EE Saturday Night's main event. We're gonna recap
it when we return, So grab your favorite snack, Grab
your favorite. I has Quoe beverage. You joined me here

(20:33):
in about twenty seconds. So hey, dude, not guilt absolutely anywhere.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
I steel like I'm losing my see everybody and the
wild Dye. Please Lord give.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Me a side, a side.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
I'll still like them losing by everybody in the wilde.
Please Lord give me us shine Shine. I want to
be the greatest everybody on the fake shit.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
I look around, I feel like everybody is the fakes.
I make this every day and I'm in patient, hoping
one day I've blow up from the basement. Stay man,
the top is so baking. I don't even ship that
I think is amazing. Waiting for my day when I'm
playing sold that shoulds for a thousand faces.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Hey give me that crown.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Keeping my way to be put down.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
It ain't your placed on this my sound. If I
want that shit that, I'll get it right now. I'm
losing it. The noose and fits, the loosy shit a

And we are back with the GSMC Wrestling Laurier Podcast,
brought to by brought to you by the GSMC Sports Network.
Sorry addressed GSMC Wrestling Laurier Podcast. All Right, it's my
last show. Maybe it's nerves, not really nerves. Maybe I
just you know, I can't get through. Can't you through
this without emotionally? You know? I'm exkidding though. Imagine the
first ever wrestling podcaster cries on his last stream. Maybe

(22:22):
that might get numbers, you know, maybe perhaps that'll get
like a million views, who knows. But anyways, So without
further ado, we have WWE Saturday night's main event. We
just talked about Monday Night Raw. Make sure you guys
check out that video and as always, hit up did
the tips and donations link, also the you know, hit
up those super chats whether we've got a burning question

(22:44):
or hot take. In terms of the world of professional wrestling,
we want you guys to know that we are all
ears one thousand to ten percent all the time. We
want you guys to know that this podcast is you know,
it's nothing without you, something without you. We definitely want
you guys to feel absolutely don't be shot drop your
thoughts inside that chat. This conversation is all about making
our voices heard. Your guys is most importantly, So yeah,

(23:07):
you know, make sure you guys, you know, definitely you
don't show us what you got, you know, tell you
give me your hot takes in terms of the world
of professional wrestling, tell me what you liked, tell me
what you didn't like about Monday Night Raw, about Saturday
Nights made event, a w double or nothing or even
NXT battleground. So you know, feel absolutely, you know, comfortable
to type anything inside that chat. Obviously, the super chat
you know, helps us keep the lights on on all

(23:29):
these amazing podcasts, your donations. You don't necessarily have to
donate to chat, but you know, obviously anything helps. You know,
this is a growing network. We want to continue to
make sure that you're giving you guys, you know, all
the cool sports content that you guys left so damn much.
And even when you don't, you know, donate, you can,

(23:50):
like you can subscribe and share it to your share
it to your other friends about you know about the
sports network that it's absolutely fur e for free. So
but yeah, without further ado, we're gonna talk about our
second segment. We have w w E Shattered and Night
main event. And I gotta be honest, I'm not a hater.
I'm not a hater whatsoever. But am I the only

(24:12):
one who's kind of over Jesse Ventorier? Like I I
kind of thought, I don't know it, you know, it
wasn't really my cup and sea like he kept like,
I don't know. I feel like every single time he talked.
I know he's an old man. Maybe I'm being kind
of a jerk here, but I don't know, Like I
just I'm over it. I'm like, okay, cool, Jesse Venturi's here. Yeah,

(24:32):
the the nostalgia factors here, you know, Saturday Night's main event,
you know, back in the in the eighties and the nineties.
I mean maybe, god, maybe i'd be in a kind
of a maybe. I don't know, but I just I'm
over it. Also another thing that I'm over in terms
of Saturday Nights main event are the commercials. The commercials
are off full. Like the commercial like I was streaming it,

(24:56):
I was, I gotta be honest, I was a little late,
and then I started and then I started streaming it,
like I said, but most dude, most importantly, like I
was trying to like catch up, and every single time
I like turned my back around, it was like your
you know, coverage will continue, will continue shortly, and I'm
just like, dude, like this is like enoughs enough man,

(25:17):
Like it's crazy. But you know, without further ado, we
got Saturday Night's main event. I just wanted to talk
about how Jesse Ventura is getting a little you know,
getting a little out there, and how you know, too
many commercials on NBC is you know, it is what
it is. Selena Vega retains the w w WE United
States Championship. I know there was a lot of hate
online saying that a botch the six one nine. You know,

(25:40):
I feel like and I'm not you know, like I said,
I'm not trying to seem like a jerk. I feel
like this this whole Saturday Nights Man event was kind
of wonky. It was kind of wonky, felt unnecessary in
my opinion. I felt like maybe you kind of could
have pushed it. It was, you know, yeah, w WE backlash,
then two weeks later, Saturday Night's main event. Two weeks later,

(26:03):
and then you have money in the bank. You know,
some I know it's not really you know, like a
pl kind of worthy thing, but I feel like the
way ww builds it up, it seems kind of like it.
But you know, I love Selina Vega. I love that
she's the Women's WWE, you know, United States champion. She
deserves it, but even on this roster deserves this title.

(26:25):
It's her and you know, the match between her and
Chelsea Green. You know, I do like Chelsea Green. I
feel like she should have won the money in the
bank because she her personality just screams money in the bank.
And you know, you've seen the past Money to Bank
winner Tiffany Stratton. You know, she's taking baby steps to
becoming the face of the women's division on WWE Smackdowns. So,

(26:46):
you know, but I don't know. I know a lot
of people kind of didn't like, you know, the match,
but you know, it is what it is. Elena Vega retains. Next,
we have John Cena defeating our Truth Saturday Nights Man Event.
This match was kind of like, okay, why you know,
but you know, I definitely love the fact that John Cena,
you know, he definitely you know, he's embracing this heel turn,

(27:07):
which is great. A lot of people are still kind
of like confused, but I feel like overall that's part
of the experience of becoming to John Cena, you know,
not not becoming to John Cena hater, but it's the
overall wrestling mindset. And I mean that because I grew
up watching John Cena. He was the biggest babyface in
the world. He would do no wrong, supports the United

(27:30):
States Military, He's granted the most makeup wishes with you know,
dying and sick you know, terminal kids, you know, diseases
and stuff like that, and you know, and you want
to root for this guy. You've grown up rooting for
this guy. And every single time he does something, you're like, yeah, wait,
wait a minute, are you supposed to be hating him?
Like it's it goes against everything, like like it's like

(27:52):
a natural impulse to be like, oh, John Tena's babyface.
You know something that's sure in life is you know,
death taxes and John sna up being the baby face.
But obviously that's not in anymore, you know. And I
kind of thought it was a little funny how he
kind of needed the cheat to win. I was like,
you know what, bro, you can't really take down our truth.
But you know, I you know the way that ar

(28:13):
Truth approach this. I you know him as a as
a loyal fan. You saw that promo on WWE SmackDown
on Friday, which was a good promo. You know, he
was it was pretty badass, and I thought maybe that
was like, this is ar Truth's last, you know, last
chance of becoming a superstar. But you know this match
was you know, it did what it had to do.

(28:33):
Johnsena still walks out. You know, this wasn't even for
the WWEE Championship. I felt like for WWE, you really
had nothing to lose to kind of make this a
WWE Championship match. Why wouldn't you do it? You know, like,
you know, I know Our Truth was never gonna win.
He was never gonna win, and it would have like
built up more suspense. It would have got the people

(28:54):
around Our Truth a little bit more because they know
that Our Truth was successful more outside of WWE, more
than anything. So he comes back and he's like, oh,
he's fighting for the WWE Championship. You know, you know
this could happen. He's building up momentum their shoulders, you know,
the five knuckles shuffle, This could happen, but you know it,
you know, not making a the WWE Championship match was

(29:15):
kind of stupid. Loved, absolutely loved the cosplay here. I
love that John Cena came up and came out and
he was doing the John Cena thing. I thought that
was probably one of the highlights of my night of
watching WWE seven, the night's main event. But yeah, you
know what it is, what it is. Next, we have
ma and Event jus So putting in his WWE World

(29:35):
WAH Championship on the line against the YouTuber Logan Paul.
You know, and I feel like that word YouTuber has
been an Achilles heel in the push for Logan Paul
ever since he made it to WWE, you know, and
it's not like WWE media is doing now. Michael Cole,
he's been on impulsive. He respects, he loves, he's friends

(29:56):
with Logan Paul. He knows that Logan Paul is part
of the industry. He knows that he's given it his
one thousand and ten percent. He sees the potential that
is Logan Paul. But you see WWE stars during their
promos like bring up YouTuber, YouTuber, YouTuber, and it's not
doing good for Logan Paul. I even feel like this
match was a little bit too soon, you know, you
kind of you know, you're kind of killing Logan Paul

(30:18):
before he even gets going, and you're gonna, like, you know,
put a fork in him before he even gets well done.
It's WWE has a bunch a handful of superstars, a
lot of mid card title superstars, very very few in
the main event picture because you think about it, Ron
smacked up it together. Who is in the main event,
Gunther j Usso, Damian Priest, borderline heavyweight. You know, mid

(30:45):
card Drew McIntyre is a heavyweight, but they seem to
like him. In the mid card right now you have
seeing punk j Usso, seth Rawlins, Cody Roads, and I
believe that's it. I you know, so why not if

(31:07):
you have a chance to kind of make somebody who
gets a lot of attention. Logan Paul and his brother,
they get a whole bunch of attention. Whether you love
him or you hate him. You see a post on Instagram,
Twitter or x whatever you guys like to call it,
it's you can't. You're fighting for likes, you're fighting for clicks,
You're fighting for attention. You know, I watched you know, no, no,

(31:31):
I watched the documentary. I forgot what it was called.
But it was like once when social media was coming
out and everything, and you know basically what people are.
You know what advertisers are doing, businesses, the media, you know, ESPN,
you know Fox. You know what you're fighting for is
you know, currency is attention. So why not you know,
let Logan Paul wet his beak on some of that

(31:52):
and you know, kind of let it happen. He's phenomenal
inside the ring. He you know, doesn't missus ces. He
cares about like I said, he does care about give
the fans of show. But the fans absolutely, you know,
they think he's daw crap. They don't like him, you know,
And I feel like it's because of that word YouTuber
YouTuber YouTuber, and I, you know, I just feel like

(32:13):
it's hurting him. And because we got this uh vignant
backstage with John Cena and Jay Usso, we got this
Cody Rhoads coming back on Saturday Night's Man Event, which
is cool. I like it and everything, but instead of like,
I'm Marie, I'm invoking my rematch clause against you, John,
you me money in the bank or or or you know,

(32:35):
not a champions in Saudi Arabia. Instead, now we don't
get a World w W Championship match or WWE Championship
matchup a money in the bank woo awesome. We get
seeing a team with Logan Paul going up against Jay
Uso and Cody Roads. You know, am I supposed to
be happy? Are we as fans supposed to be happy?

(32:56):
The only thing that kind of makes sense? And I
feel like maybe this is because the last year's Men's
Money to Make winner Drew McIntyre, the briefcase was absolutely wasted.
It was absolutely wasted due to you know, furthering the
few that was Drew McIntyre and seam Punk. So this
new money in the Bank winner. I gotta be honest,
I feel like it has to pop the same night.

(33:18):
Maybe he gets maybe he gets cashed in. You have
two of the champions one place, one time seth Rawlins
wins the money in the bank. Bronson, Reid, bron Baker
come out when you have a beaten you know, Jay
Usso and see him and John Cena, like you know,
that's the only thing in my opinion that makes sense

(33:38):
why you would make this SAX team match. Other than
that they should have two separate matches. And you know,
I don't know what Cody was Maybe I don't know
what Cody's doing, you know. But all right, next, speaking
of Drew mcintirey Damian Priest, we have a steel cage
match we had. You know, this match was decent, it
was good. You know, it served this purpose within its
you know, within the industry, within you know what these

(33:59):
two guys are trying to do. But I I know
they want to make Damian Priest within like this main
event worthiness, you know, like I was talking about, he's
borderline heavyweight mid card. Drew Mcutar is already basically an
established superstar. You know, he reinvented himself outside of w WE.
Came back, he was a champion, Damian Priest, you know,

(34:21):
money at the bank, Cashion, he held Monday Night Raw
on his back. You know, when Sam Punk was injured,
Seth Rollins was injured and it was you know, it
was great. It was great, one thousand percent. You know,
he did his due diligence. He you know, he's getting
all the flowers in the world. Nobody ever would ever
think about disrespecting Damian Priest and what he's done for
the w w E. But you know, I gotta be

(34:43):
really honest, man, I. You know, there was no blood.
What's a steel cage match without blood? Like Seampunk Drew
mcatire hell on the cell. There was blood to further
the feud, to make it seem a little bit more hectic,
a little bit more personal, just a little bit more insane,
you know, like these guys actually devastatedly hate you know,

(35:08):
they hate each other, they hate each other, but there
was no blood. Both of them walked out clear headed.
You know, do your mc atize like Damian Priest didn't
even come over to cage or make de pend or
do anything like that. He's hit a concerto and walked out,
you know, and uh, you know what, Jesse Ventura was
kind of saying about, Oh, that's it, that's it, and
you know, I kind of feel the same, you know,

(35:28):
I was kind of like, Okay, what's going on here?
But like I said, I feel like this feud is
not I don't it's not over. It's not over. We're
gonna get this one part three. It's just gonna be,
you know, a matter of when main event. Finally, we
have seth Rawlins teaming up with Brown Breaker taking on
Sammy Zane and CM Punk. You know, the main thing
of this match, this match was you know, it was good.

(35:49):
It was good, honestly stole the show. Stole the show.
This match should have been the main event, you know,
seeing Punk hasn't really been you know, on well, he
has been on Monday Night Raw, but he's kind of
been a little quiet within the last couple of weeks.
And then he comes out to team up with Sammy's
ain and they have one hell of a brawl, you know,
and I you know, it was great. It was great.
You know a lot of people were being like, Okay,
I can't see him Punk trusted Sammy. But then out

(36:12):
of nowhere, Bronson Reed comes out joins this new faction.
You know, it reminds me of like it's you have
two big guys now, you know, so bron Bricker's not
really the muscle I guess anymore. Maybe he's the young prospect.
Maybe he's the Randy or In and the Bronson Reeves
the Batista in this new evolution or revolution reboot. I

(36:37):
you know, like I said, this whole faction thing is
kind of like still in my opinion up in the
year WW definitely has to pay attention to making it work.
Other than that, you don't want to put Seth Rowlins
in another like stupid like like hey, like he had
with Buddy Murphy and the you know, you know visionary
or whatever. But you know, like I said, maybe two
weeks from now, I'll be like, Okay, well man, this
is genius all right. Now with for the do we

(37:00):
fwwe NXC Battleground recaps GB your favorite snack rebyr Favmite
High School of Evergs. You join me here in about
twenty seconds, So height do not go anywhere.

Right now, and we are back with the GSMC Wrestling
Lori Podcast, brought to me the GSMC Sports Network. I'm
your favorite wrestling fan here, Eric Groadriguez every Monday Night Live.
Well this is the last Monday night show, so I

(38:29):
hope you guys enjoy it. Like I said, I will
be starting my own little podcast. You know, definitely be
giving a shout out to the GSMC Sports Network. Make
sure you guys, you know, check out their podcast one
thousand and ten percent. You know, GSMC Sports Podcast. It's
gonna have you know, my boy, Jeremy lapets on it anchoring,
complete badass. You know, he's a you know, he's a scholar,

(38:49):
he's a gentleman. He's basically everything you know you would
want your daughter to marry. I'm just kidding on moving on,
you know. Now, it's just a lot of cool guys,
a lot of cool guys. Make sure you guys, you know,
be a part of the GSMC Sports you know, GSMC
Sports family. You know, we always talk about all the
sports you know, we don't like, but we obviously we
talk about the headlines. But sometimes you can learn a

(39:10):
thing or two watching the GSMC Sports ever, because we
just don't fill to our podcast. You know, if you're
an NBA fan, it's not always about Lebron James. If
you're a sports fan in general, it's not always about
the NFL. Sometimes, you know, you can sprinkle in some
you know, some hockey, w NBA. You know, it's crazy
what Caitlin Clark is doing for the w NBA right now,

(39:31):
Like she's literally like tripled or quad troupled the revenue
of the you know, women's National Basketball Association. So I'm
actually kind of happy that they're probably getting the attention
to deserve. But you know, also the NFL, Oh my god,
I can't believe the NFL is right around the corner
August September. Who it is creeping up the NFL schedule release. Definitely,

(39:54):
you know they're already coming out with the odds, what
is it spreads? Spreads for week one, So you know,
definitely want to you know, if you're a bet if
you're a betting man or woman, you know you can
definitely you know, check those out. But all I know,
make sure you check out the GSMC Sports Network and
you know, give you the Eric Rodergans guarantee that you
will never, ever, ever, ever ever regret subscribeing to such

(40:14):
an amazing network who care about their fans one thousand
and ten percent. And the feedback. You know, we all,
like I said, we always respond to you guys. You know,
it's not like you're responding to a thread on exert
TikTok or Twitter or whatever you guys like to call
Twitter nowadays or Instagram where you know, you post something,
you're like, oh, the guy who posted is gonna respond
to I'm just gonna you know, yeah, no, we'll we'll

(40:36):
definitely respond. So, you know, without further ado, let's talk
battleground NXT. Battleground. You know NXT, I gotta be honest,
is fucking awesome. I feel like, you know, NXT has been,
you know, definitely one of my growing favorite, especially the
women's division. The women's division right now is absolutely on fire,

(40:57):
one thousand and ten percent. And I I have WWE
NXC battle Ground preview and sorry, no excuse me, that'
to that's my bad battleground review. We're going to fix
that because I'm gonna feel stupid if I don't. Okay,
there we go. Sorry, Like I said, you know, kind

(41:18):
of a hurry get it in here right now. Is
you know, I was saying, God, your birthday to my daughter.
She's you know, definitely she turned ten years old, so
you know, drop inside the comment section, you know, a
nice little uh, thank you to my beautiful daughter Caroline.
And you know, anyways, talking about an XT. So without
further do we have battleground. We're gonna start off with

(41:39):
Kaylanie Jordan and Soularuka, two very worthy, two very exciting
women to watch in the women's division on NXC. You know,
I felt like this match stle the show. You know,
I felt like this match was you know, it was
a test between two of two promising young stars in WWE.

(41:59):
I cannot say so Ruker and Kaylennie Jordan are gonna
probably be on the main roster sooner rather than later.
So Rooker retains the NXT Woman's North American Championship Zaria
as well in her corner. I thought that was pretty cool.
And the Kaylinie Jordan, Kaylanie Jordan just you know, I
feel like she's embracing that heel role, maybe a little
bit more than than people think. But I don't know,

(42:21):
I want to see Kaylanie Jordan. I want to see
her as a heel. I'm sorry, because if we like
her as a heel, she would just be a whole
do different flavor in NXT and ww in general, you know,
not a lot of people would be like, oh, kay
Lonnie Jordan. You know you want to root her because
she's like, she's like the sweetheart All American Gymnastics team
representing our country or something like that, like she's the sweetheart,

(42:42):
like and then she, you know, she goes off and
she starts like going on a tear where she wears
darkened makeup and black eyeliner and you're like, oh, Marca,
Kaylnnie Jordan, dude, this girl's a badass dude, Like you know.
I But for me personally, I would love to see
Kaylanie Jordan do something different with the character. So Ruka,
I feel like she's perfect the way she is right

(43:02):
now as speed champion too, I felt like this was
gonna be a nice time to kind of give kay
Lennie Jordan her second NXT Women's North American run because
I feel like overall, as second run with that title
will kind of create more of a prestigious look. Then
you know, you know, I love that. So sol Ruco
won it in the first place. I picked her to

(43:23):
be the inaugural wal champion to win that ladder match. Actually,
but now that you had Kilanie Jordan win it, and
if she would have won, it kind of hold a
stronghold over the champion, kind of being like a heel
kind of feel, and I felt like it would have
been better for the division, especially with a lot of
these top superstars leaving, like Julia Rock San Perez, you know,

(43:43):
and you have those you know, you had the woman
in LFG at the end of the Stephanie Vakira and
Jordan Grace match, you know, basically saying that you know, hey,
we're gonna We're about to take you want too, so
and if Jordan Grace stays in NXT at this point,
I really feel like there's no point she you know,
she she had a chance against Roxan Perez, she had
a chance against Stephanie Vacare came up, you know, empty

(44:05):
on both occasions. She is going to be she she
was brought to WWE to be the main roster, you know,
SmackDown a raw. She wasn't made to be an NXT.
You know, a little stop here and there to kind
of further the idea that Stephanie vcare is the legitimate champion.
I feel like she is actually going to stay in NXC.
She even had a choice to move the Raw or SmackDown,

(44:27):
but she chose NXC. She shows NXT for a reason
because I feel like Sean Michaels, you know, he sees
he sees a lot of potential in Stephanie Vacare and
every single time she fights somebody. You know, you kind
of you have attention of a care obviously for retaining
the championship, but you also give a lot of attentions
to the person who you know fought their arsof to
you know, to test the NXT Woman's World Heavyweight Champion.

(44:51):
You know, like you got a lot of attention around
what Jordan Grace was, you know, ultimately trying to do.
When you know Jada Parker fought Stephanie mcare in that
match fall and him. You know, now they're like, you're
kind of top tier. You know, persona is in the
next team, And I don't know, like I said, maybe
I kind of wanted to see Kyle out to Jordan
go here. Maybe that's the reason why I'm like, uh, Max,

(45:12):
we have hankin Tank teaming up with Josh Briggs to
take on the calling the team of Sean Spears, Nico Vance,
and Kevin Jensen. No, that's a baseball player, Brooks Jensen. Brooks,
Kevin Jensen was now he was a pitcher for the
Anaheim Angels. I think could be wrong. Anyways, this match

(45:33):
was great, I you know, I love the match Hank
and Tank. If there's anybody who was going to dethrone Phraxium,
for me, I would have chose like somebody like OTM.
But that's just me. But hankin Tank, you know, you know,
they're good. They're good, they're good, they're good. It kind
of reminds me of like a young version of the
Nasty Boys, or just something that you don't really in picture.

(45:53):
You know, tag team wrestling. You know, you have these
two big guys, powerhouses, but these guys still jump over
the top row. The guys still jump, you know, off
the top turn buckle, you know, springboard move you know
who knows. But I think I feel like the highlight
of the match was watching Amy or come back. You know,
I want to see him at Josh Briggs five for
the for the NFT Tag Ting titles. Once again, I

(46:14):
felt like maybe the overall should have been the ones
to defeat Praxium, but now you have hankin Tank because
Fracium at this point kind of seemed unbeatable, so maybe
you kind of had I'm not trying to call hankin
Tank like Bridge Champions, you know, I feel like they're
gonna have a nice decent run and they probably will
drop the titles to you know, somebody as the likes
of like you know otm or even or even Josh

(46:36):
Briggs and anymore. But I don't know, you can get
a lot of atension, you know, with WWE going to
international now, you know, I feel like Anymoor and Briggs
kind of make the most sense. But you're gonna get
a nice title to title run with hankin Tank. Next
we have Tony DiAngelo taking on Stacks Channing Stacks Lorenzo.
We had the family break breaking up and even during

(46:57):
the end of the match, you saw you heard an
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. You know it was stupid. I
made a mistake, but Tony DiAngelo wanted to assert, you know,
rule with an iron fist, and I felt like that
moment was the moment if you're an NXT, you know,
if you're a wrestling fan, you know, and if you're
a fan of an XT, you're kind of like, Wow,

(47:18):
Tony D'Angelo, you know he's not showing any mercy here.
But you know stax is, you know, he's he's as
many he admitted that he's wrong. You know, why don't
you give him a chance, and this was a nice point.
You know, I'd be like if the family was there,
like you see Luca Crucifino right there, and you know
if Rizzo was there as well, I'd be like, hey,
come on, Don, like you know, he he acknowledged that

(47:40):
he made a mistake. We're family. You're supposed to embrace that.
That moment where you know Tony D'Angelo was relentlessly beating Stacks,
I knew right then and there. I was like, all right,
you're going to see a rally behind Stacks here. You're
gonna get maybe like a like a double cross to Dawn,
Luca Crucofino coming, you know, with the distraction Stax Lorenzo

(48:01):
low blow bam, that's it. Stacks defeats the Don And
you know, now you kind of think about Tony D'Angelo.
What's gonna happen with Tony D'Angelo? How good it's Tony
D'Angelo in terms of, you know, what's his stock without
the family, because when you bring I feel like he'll
get drafted the raw. If you bring him the raw

(48:22):
without the family. What good is Tony D'Angelo without the family?
For me, I don't really see it. Yeah, let's have
Tony DiAngelo just you know, drafted the Bundy Night Raw
and be like, oh we have this new power else
you know, oh by him. So Tony D'Angelo complete bad ass,
Like how far is that really gonna go? You know? Like,
I get how you want to use this moment to

(48:43):
kind of push stacks a little bit, but I feel
like Tony DiAngelo at this point and not trying to
diminish the talent that D'Angelo has, but I feel like
the only thing that kind of makes them special is
the whole family storyline that you can bring the smack
down you can bring to WWE Monday Night ra Now

(49:04):
with dispute, you're not really gonna get it. So who's
going to draft Tony D'Angelo if this thing goes belly up?
Not really no, But if they're starting to build this
new family thing kind of up with Stax, cris Fino
and Rizzo, they look good together. I gotta be honest,
they look pretty badass without the don there, Tony D'Angelo

(49:29):
moving on to raw smackdowns as a way to kind of,
you know, create a little bit of a fresh appeal
to NXT on on Tuesday nights. Yeah, it could happen.
Definitely could happen. I just like I said, I just
hope it doesn't hurt Tony d all Right. Next, we
have Stephanie Vacarra defending her WWE Women's NXT World Heavyweight
Championship against Jordan Grace, the former Knockouts TEENA champion. And

(49:53):
this match was great. Honestly, it was an amazing match.
I kind of hinted at at earlier, you know, in
the review that I felt like, I feel like, whoever
takes on seven de Macare is going to, you know,
be of high potential, is going to be seen in
a positive limelight other than a negative one, whether if
they win or lose. And Jordan Grace she's going to
raw or SmackDown. I kind of gave it a little

(50:15):
bit of time for her to, you know, I give
it a little bit of time for her to finally
leave NXT. You know, she had a chance against Roxanne.
She had a chance againstephian Ne Macare, and you know,
now it just seems like, you know, it's kind of
pons for her being on an XT anymore, kind of
like well, you know, the whole trick Williams, you know,
against Joe Henry. Joe Henry stated, you know, you've been
at the NXC World Championship picture too many times. If

(50:37):
you lose against me, then you're not really going to
have another outlet. You're not going to have another line
or pathway back to being on top of NXT. SO
and Jordan Grace, you know, like I said, win or lose,
she you know, fans were going to see her potential
and I would rather see Jordan Grace probably on raw.

(50:59):
I could see on raw because Raya Ripley is, she's phenomenal,
she's kind of she's a beast. Her against Jordan Grace
would be an absolute dream match that I would love
to see, would love to see. Max. We have NXC
World Heavyweight Championship match. We have Obafemi defending this title
against Miles Born, and you know, it was exactly what

(51:21):
I kind of thought was gonna happen. I knew this
match was gonna be like a you know, Oba's gonna win.
But at the end of the day, Osborne's gonna get
the respect, you know, and Osborne is sorry, Born was
gonna get the respect, and it's uh, you know, it
is all gravy, it's all cool, like he literally did
all he could to take on you know, uh, to
take on Oba Feming, and he really honestly kind of
got into the face and he could have won a

(51:44):
couple of times, and he came so damn close. I
even kind of thought. I was like, no way this
is gonna happen. No way, no way, no way. I thought,
you know, Elba Feming, this is okay, okay, now he's
gonna be drafted. He's dropping the title against Miles Born.
But you know, once again, he can't count out Oba Feming.
You can never do it. He is the prize possession

(52:06):
of NXT. He Shawn Michaels' guy. You know, you can
see it even in that picture. And he was like, damn,
I barely snuck away with that when he had to
hit like three of his special moves as finishers. But
mine was Born, man, Like I said, can't take it
away from him, get in that respect all but giving
him a nod of approval. Are we going to see

(52:27):
the No I thought we were gonna see Charlie Dempsey
get involved to kind of screw him over a little bit.
Are we gonna get it like a no quarter catch crew?
Like Civil war. Are we gonna get them drafted to
smack down a raw. Maybe that happens, but as of
right now, congratulations too, Oba Feming for successfully defending his
WWE NXT Men's World Heavyweight Championship. So congratulations. I thought

(52:48):
that was pretty badass. We have a new champion, the
new teena world heavyweight champion. We got trick, shoot your trick, Williams.
Whoop that trick, Whoop that trick. And we finally get
an NXT star on TNA because being brutally honest and
he do have you know, Oba Femi came here and

(53:10):
you know, he he you know, he touched he crossed
the line a couple of times. In the women's division.
You had, you know, Tatum Paxley, you had who's the
other one, Kendall Gray, Carli Bright. You got a lot
of people like kind of cross the line to go
to TNA teen a kind of you know, they gave us,
you know, Jordan Grace, they gave us the rascals, they

(53:32):
gave us Joe Hendry, and I feel like they've kind
of gotten the short end of the stake in terms
of this partnership with NXT, and now I kind of
was an advocate for it. This partnership is going to
be truly successful. You have to have a WWE superstar
when a TEENA belt and vice versa. You have to
have a you know, a teen A superstar win a
WWE championship, and Henry's gonna do it. Hendry is going

(53:56):
to be that guy, you know, because he's you know,
a lot of people. Joe Hendry, you know, obviously one
of the biggest international wrestling sensations there is. I. You know,
I wasn't too sure that this match was gonna end
the way it did. You know, Joe Hendry put up
at hell you know, health hop match. It was great,
it was phenomenal. But Joe Hendry drops the teen year

(54:18):
World Championship against Trick Williams and it wasn't really like
a like a healish move, you know, I did kind
of like the thumb to the eye that the rake
of the eye to be like, Okay, Trick Williams never
really does that. He wins admirably and then bam, he
does a move where Joe Hendry hits his face on
the TENA gold causing him to you know, not get
knocked the f out, and then you have Trick Williams

(54:38):
hitting that Trick shot for that one two three band.
We have a new t and a world champion. I
feel like, although Joe dropped the title, he's going to
get He's gonna get his He's gonna get his mark
my words, Joe Hendry will be the first draft pick

(54:59):
in w He's gonna be the first ever TNA superstar
to be drafted in WWE draft history. Also, he's gonna
be drafted number one, and I feel like he's gonna
be and he's gonna be on SmackDown. His contract ends
at the end of the year. You're gonna get a
couple of, you know, back and forth bouts between him
and Trick Williams, but at the end of the day,
you have to have Trick hold that championship. I kind

(55:21):
of want a Trick to, you know, kind of turn
heel and kind of rekindle his uh his tag team title,
uh his tack team title miss with Carmelo Hayes to
be like this badass tag team championship worthy team on SmackDown.
Because the SmackDown Tacting Division is an absolute fire. I
thought that was gonna happen, But him holding the TNA
World Championship. The first ever WWE superstar to hold the

(55:43):
TENA World Championship. So that's you know, that's cool. Congratulations
a trick, but uh, you know, it is what it is.
I feel like, like I said, I feel like Trick, Uh,
Joe Hendry, he's just starting, he's on the precipice. You
needed a storyline, you needed a direction for Trick Willilliams,
and you know, they were like, all right, he's gonna

(56:03):
be the ten YE World Champion. So that's going to
be And this is something that TNA and NXT, you know,
definitely did on purpose. There's a lot of WWE fans
that are gonna go watch TNA. Now you're gonna see
a lot of people starting to buy tickets to TENA events.

(56:26):
Ten A plus you're gonna get some youn to get
more subscribers now more than ever because Trick Williams, because
of an XT superstar. As you know, Blockbuster is Trick Williams.
And then you're gonna have him and Joe Hendry have
an amazing, amazing feud. And you know you're gonna get

(56:47):
major fomo if you don't subscribe to ten A plus.
So you know, I personally, I can't wait to see
this on film. Like I said, I feel like this
was you know, like I said, I feel like this
was this was a purpose, and I feel like this
was a purpose to get Joe Hendry on WWE. I'm sorry,
you know, trade you know, uh, Trick Williams. You know
you can hold the TEENA World Championship if we get

(57:09):
Joe Hendry to WWE, if we get to sign him,
you know, he's not the champion anymore. That was kind
of a huge reason why he would never you know,
why you can't see him in WWE. But now you
know you can't, So you know, I'm excited. I think
it's cool. I'm a dork. I love the crossovers. Would love,
you know, for ae W and w W to kind
of get their heads out of their rses and drop

(57:31):
the confidence and be like, you know, you have a
forbidden dour with AW taking on WWE would be pretty badass.
But you know that's never gonna happen. It's never gonna happen,
So I'm not gonna give him hopes. So speaking of
ae W, we have ae W double or nothing. We're
gonna talk about it, So grab your favorite snack, grab
your favorite I cool beverage. Joined me here in about
fifteen seconds, so hey, do not go absolutely anywhere.

Speaker 2 (58:36):
And we are back with the GSMC Wrestling Louis Podcast,
brought to you with the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your
favorite wrestling fan here Eric. On your last Monday Night,
you're going to talk about some good old fashioned professional wrestling.
Recently talked about my Monday Night Raw review. We talked
nxty battleground recap, we had Saturday Nights main event talk,

(58:57):
and now we're going to get into some aew or
taking place in Aaron Zoona. It was a good you
know something that sorry, excuse me, something that aw always
does well as their pelis can't hit on their pelis.
Something that you gotta respect as a wrestling fan, is
that the aw Pli's are an absolute fire, you know,

(59:18):
and this one was nothing short of spectacular, nothing short
of spectacular. Although you know this happened, and you know
I hate it. I hate it. I'm just kidding. No,
I'm being a Jamie Hayter. Here Mercedes moon A win
zooing her cup. I get it. I get up with
all the attention, she has, all the gold. She's the

(59:39):
girl of aw Tony Kahan wants to shove it down
our throats that she is, you know, you but Jamie hater.
She was on the way back up, you know, after
serving an injury building Will metsa back in matches, and
she had that feud with with Penelope Ford. I think
it was I think it was Penelope be Ford, and
a lot of people kind of thought she was gonna
make it back to the top only to lose to

(01:00:01):
Mercedes Monet. This would have been a great chance for
Mercedes Moonee to lose to put over ultimately Jamie Hayter,
without Mercedes Monete dropping any titles. It would have been perfect,
It would have been absolutely perfect. I personally thought she
should have dropped her title to Harley Cameron in Australia, too,
but that's neither hearing nor there either. I feel like

(01:00:22):
maybe she should have lost to Athena, but she's ring
of honor. I understand why they really really do that
in AEW soil and be like, oh, we'll have ring
of Honor. I would have loved to see Billy Starks
and Athena go at it in the Owen Hard Cup finals.
I thought that would have a pretty badass but instead
we basically probably let's rewind a year from today Mercedes

(01:00:45):
Monet signed to AEW not having a chance to participate
in the Own Hard Cup, be like, oh, you know,
do you think Mercedes Money could become an own Hard Cup?
You know Owen Hart Cut Foundation, you know winner if
you could, you know, like if there was like a
betting line to be like, oh, she's going to be

(01:01:07):
against you know this and that the other, or you
can even name everybody involved in the one Hard Cup
Women's Championship tournament, you could be like, Okay, who's gonna win?
You wanna put some money on it? Dude. I would
have bet the Dan House that Mercedes Money was gonna
come out on top, you know, And like I said,
you know, I'm not really huge on the way she

(01:01:28):
performs inside the ring. I you know, I her mic
skills are you know, they're all right? I just I
don't know. I feel like she Tony Kahn is literally
giving this girl everything and I will, you know, nothing
against Mercedes Well, actually, you know what, this SE's kind
of redundant. But being pertly honest, I would have hated it.

(01:01:52):
I would have had a hater one. But that's just me.
That's just me. So you know, Mercedes Money wins the
one Hard Cup Women's tournament. Next we have FTR, which
Stokely defeats Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness. This is Nigel
mcguinness's third match in thirteen years, so of course he
was gonna lose. You're trying to build up FTR as
this new heel tack team faction, which is the right

(01:02:14):
thing to do, you know, which is good. You know,
there was a couple of miscues during the matches that
were very you know, problematic, you know, not too not
too fond of Stokely, you know, gracing the presence of FTR.
It's only matter of time until like Adam Copeland comes
back and then like Justice is third or something like that.
FTR worthy tag team champions. You know, the basically they're

(01:02:39):
like in nineteen eighties professional wrestling now like it's it
was like if you guys had to come from the
nineteen eighties in terms of tack team wrestling. Even the
way they look besides long hair, I think they're you know,
in the nineteen eighties, they would have long hair, you know,
if you have like them, like in a time machine,
this is exactly what they would look like. Not really
your contemporary tag team wrestling right now, not really that entertaining,

(01:03:03):
not really trying, you know, not really trying to watch
FTR here in the tag team division, like I said,
not trying to throw any hate, not trying to be
you know, because I respect Wiler and I you know,
expect Hartwood, but I you know, I feel like the
tag team division right now it's kind of going into
a different direction, especially with the her business holding the titles.
And we'll get to their matches, you know, we'll get
to their match shortly. Love the you know, like I said,

(01:03:26):
after your school, after your school, but you know, it
is what it is. Ricochet defeats Mark Briscoe in a
stretcher's match. Match was pretty fun. It was cool to
watch and definitely loved the shining into the head that
Mark Briscoe did. Mark Mark Briscoe, I feel like, instead
of this being an actual wrestling matches, was like a
spot after spot after hardcore spot here and then Mark

(01:03:47):
Briscoe was busted open and even had the chair, you know,
and then he had the crutch, and then you had
Ricochet flipping off the fans and everything, and like bam,
Mark brisco comes out heading at Froggy Bow on the table.
Was pretty bad ass. I thought that was pretty cool.
But finally we see Ricochet get a win. Ricochet coming
to AEW. I thought it was the best thing in

(01:04:09):
his career. I thought it was going to be the
best for his direction. W w WEE treated him like
a wasted talent. Nothing, you know, nothing surprising there. Ricochet
has been, you know, nothing short of spectacular on WWE soil,
you know, and ae W seems like he's having a
little bit of a creative issues, not really anything inside
the ring, but you know, obviously, you know, I feel
like creatively in w w E he was screwed, but

(01:04:32):
in the ring he was phenomenal. And ae W I
feel like it's kind of like on a different you know, spectrum,
but it kind of seems like he's getting screwed over again.
And I hate it because I do love Ricochet and
I you know, I love the way that he wrestles.
I'm a huge you know, Ricochet guy. I loved him
when he's in their condental champion. I feel like he
does deserve a ring of honor, you know, television championship run.

(01:04:54):
Maybe he goes against Nick Wayne, that's when you know,
you get the patriarchy breaking up Chris. You know, Christian
Cage screws him over somehow, and then you have Ricochet
when the you know, the title and maybe he gets
absorbed into the don Kallis family and you know, maybe
something happens like that. But as of right now, I
want to see Ricochet do more because I'm such a
huge fan and I feel like if you put the

(01:05:15):
limelight on him, and if you don't have so many
damn stars fighting for the spotlight in all elite wrestling,
it'd be it'd be easier to give him the spotlight
here and there, you know what I mean. But right now,
you know, we're we're stuck getting backwards. Hat Ricochet, you know,
bullying people like he was in high school. And I
feel like a lot of his awkward a lot of
his awkward encounters in being a heel is because he's

(01:05:39):
never really done it before, you know, and he's like,
he's not really that guy. Outside the ring, he's a
fucking he's sorry, excuse me, sorry, he's this. He's a
stand up guy. He's great, he's a good man like
and like this kind of feels weird, and for him,
it's like, Okay, this is what I have to do
to get attention. This is what I have to do
to commit to my new character to finally get the

(01:06:02):
recognition I deserve from, you know, from the wrestling fandom.
And you know, if I got to talk to Tony
Con straight up and be like, look, dude, you have
this Guyako Kata defending the Continental Championship once in a
Blue Moon. Being a part of the e VPS. His
main catchphrases him calling people the B word backstage, like

(01:06:24):
come on, come on, dude, Like I know, I know
on Okada, you know the EVPs, Matthew Nicholas Jackson, he's
a Matthew Nicholas Jackson guy. They're like you know, Matthew
Nicholas Jackson are like the Vince McMahon.

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
Of ae W.

Speaker 2 (01:06:40):
That's how bad it is in terms of like creative
and you know, it's it's all about what they want
and who they think is going to be the gonna
be the star of the shine Spotlight. You got to
put that title on Ricochet, I'm sorry, but instead you're
kind of having him jump through hoops, going through awkward
encounters where you're destroying his credibility, destroying his character, and

(01:07:00):
it's just I don't know, but that's just my opinion
a thousands of type percent. I know, maybe you know,
maybe it's just me being I'm a huge Ricochet blazer,
so you know, I'm proud of it. All right. We
have the Hurt Syndicate defending their titles against the Sons
of Texas, Semi Guvara and Dustin Rhodes. You know, with
the little hell from m MJF. There's a little awkward encounters.

(01:07:21):
You know, I kind of thought, you know, MJF, I
don't know how long he's gonna end up with the
Hurt Syndicate, but I feel like, maybe you know, it's
probably going to be numbered a little bit looks awkward
as hell coming out with him, coming out with them,
but I feel like it's going to serve a furpose.
And you know, MJF with the without Moxley is the

(01:07:43):
face of a w he is he just is you
think of Brian Danielson obviously when the company started, Christian
Kage Sting and then Samoa Joe. There's a lot of
faces that he has, you know, that has you know
that could definitely take over the main events spot Orange Cassidy.

(01:08:07):
I feel like AEW is kind of kind of weakening
the stock of Maxwell Jacob Freeman having him in this
fandom or not fandom faction. I want to see him
over the title again, I really really do. I want
to see him being the All Elite Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion.
But I know right now they're kind of grooming either
derby or hanging out of page. Nothing against them, but

(01:08:29):
I feel like what's best for business? And you talk
to any wrestling fan, Hey, who do you know from
All League Wrestling? I don't know much people. I really
honestly don't I know. MJF. That should be your that's
your your answer right there. MJF is only like you know,
if you talk to people who don't watch a w

(01:08:51):
who might hate it, they'll admit to you that I'm
a that I'm an MJF fan. I'm a huge MJF fan.
Should it be the face of AW only time? But
tell I hope it's sooner rather than. Like I said,
Okada holding the AW Continental Championship hostage Speedball Mike Bailey

(01:09:14):
an amazing performance from speedball. Okada was okay, he was good,
but like I said, he doesn't really seem like he
enters to FRAY in terms of really physical, really physical
like physical altercations inside the ring or spots. I feel
like he ultimately kind of avoids them. But this match
was actually decent. This was a good match mostly from Speedball.

(01:09:34):
But of course, you know the rain maker for the win.
We have Okada retaining. But I don't know. Maybe I'm
a huge I don't know, maybe I'm a huge VPS
hater and maybe this is exactly what they wanted to be, like, oh, okay,
that's what we want you to do, is hate the EVPs,
and I'm just falling in for it. And uh, but
I don't know. As of right now, I don't know
why Okada is still the continental champion. Honestly, don't I

(01:09:54):
don't know. One of my favorite superstars is the timeless
Tony Storm retaining her aw Women's World Championship. And I
gotta be honest, I gotta be really honest here is
aw Is it ever smart for them to take the
title off of this amazing woman? I I don't think so.

(01:10:16):
I you know, Mariah May you know I love the
few that her and Tony Storm have. You know, they
can go back and forth, back and forth, But are
you gonna have it happen like what six or seven times?
If you run it back now, I feel like you'd
be a little bit too early. I can see it
kind of happening after aw all In because you know
who her opponent is going to be at all In.
But Tony Storm is literally the definition of what women's

(01:10:38):
wrestling should be like. She's the best woman in She's
the best woman in wrestling, WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor,
you know, nu Jaman Professional Wrestling, it's emll. There's nobody
as amazing as Tony Storm. And the way she could,
the way she is on the mic, the way she
you know, her storytelling inside the ring, it's like poetry.

(01:10:59):
And I'm a huge Tony Storm guy. I feel like,
like I said, Kenny e w really took the title
off of this girl. I feel like at this point
it's bad to do. So there's only who fans love
Tony Storm. You talk to all the fans. I love
convorsing with fans about wrestling, obviously, you know, you talk

(01:11:19):
about some of the best women's wrestling. Definitely top three
Tony Storm or if not one, but Tony Storm with
a successful title defense against Minashirikawa. It's definitely awesome. You know,
you saw a kiss at the end. She was all right.
You know, it was kind of cool if you're into
that kind of thing, I guess. But now we got
this aw all in Texast, timeless Tony Storm defense or

(01:11:43):
aw World Women's Heavyweight Champion against the TVs champion, Mercedes Money.
And I gotta be honest, if Mercedes Money wins, I'm
going to be a little upset. I really am, you know,
because it's like you literally have the epitome of professional
women's wrestling against like the all glam not that great

(01:12:07):
inside the ring, not too great inside the on the mic,
definitely total opposite of Mercedes money. If she went, you
are going to piss off a lot of fans TK
for watching this right now, and I doubt you are.
You can't. Oh you cannot have Tony Storm drop the title.
You just can't. You just really can't. Oh God. Anyways,

(01:12:28):
moving on before I you know, rise my blood pressure,
anarchy and the arena. This match really, you know, not
much to talk about, despite the fact that you know,
it was badass. It was fun. It was cool from
the music to the you know, to the violent spots,
to the you know, spurs, Shrikland coming out of nowhere
with a freaking forklifts.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
It served as purpose and they you know, powerhouse Hobs absolutely,
you know professional, absolutely, you know, very very very he's
a successful wrestler. Willow Love, Willow Nightingale Love Samo with
Joe Love, Katsieri, shibata I Love, Oh my god, Swerve.

(01:13:09):
It was just all in all, it was great. It
was great. So you know, they pick up to win
that the baby faces get the the win and I
thought that was you know, Matthew Nicholas Jackson coming out
as Founding Fathers, you know, I was it was all right,
and then he you know, gave Kid get involved in
the ambulance. You know, then you have Mark Bristol coming
out of nowhere and you're like, what this is crazy?
I would I did when I got out of work today.

(01:13:31):
I checked out the match on YouTube, so make sure
you check it out, the full match, and it's a
you know, pretty entertainment's pretty badass. Hook coming back and
returning at ae W double or nothing I called it.
He helped out the ops, but he didn't necessarily seem
like he was too happy with Samoa Joe, you know,
being replaced by Powerhouse Hobbs. I kind of thought this

(01:13:52):
was a spot for him to kind of like join
the Death Writers. I feel like this would be good
for the ultimate like storyline of this of the Death
Riders heading into aew all in Texas, and it would
be good for the career of Hook, who's you know,
he's young. But maybe this is a foreshadowing of why,
you know, maybe the Death Riders might you know, because
John Moxley, he's all that title for over two hundred days,

(01:14:14):
you know, more than that, I believe, so there's no
doubt in my mind that he'll probably drop the title
at Texas. But you know, what's gonna happen with Hook
ever since, you know, losing FTW Championship, retiring it. You know,
he was the FTW guy. He was that guy. That's
what That's what made him relevant in all of the wrestling,
not trying to throw Shane. He's a good you know,

(01:14:35):
he's good inside the ring, submission skills, you know, pretty
good technical wrestler. He's he's on point, you know, doesn't
missus q's hit his spots man. But I want to
see something bigger for Hook. And I know there was
a lot of speculation that once when his contract is
up in All Elite Wrestling, maybe he had join w
W WEE perhaps maybe maybe not. But I feel like

(01:14:56):
if you want to make Tony Khan an all of
the wrestling guy, a stable storyline has to become a
part of TK, Tony Kahn's agenda like yesterday, So, like
I said, he has all the talent in the world,
I just want to see him do good, all right,
And following the match, we have Paragon going up against

(01:15:16):
the don Kallis family, Kunoski Takashna, Kyle Fletcher and John
alexand Josh Alexander who got a visit after they did it,
after they won the match, Brody King Tanahashi and Ishe.
I thought that was pretty cool obviously, you know, hitting
at you know ae W's fervenandor right around the corner.
But you know, like I kind of mentioned in my predictions,

(01:15:36):
the don Kallis family has you know, suffered a lot
of losses lately. They needed to win. They needed to
start building some momentum for the don Kallis family. Other
than that, it seemed like he would just die again.
The man's owing the Hard Cup Championship. We have a winner,
Hangman Adham Page. I don't mind it, but then again
I don't love it. You know this built up for

(01:15:58):
a Hangman, you know, going from b backstage and just
attacking everybody, throwing a fit and being you know, being mean,
being rude and you know, attacking league legend Like I
I want to believe the Hangman out of page. You know,
Aw's guy, another face of AW. Will Lospray better than
a better than ae W, better than a Sorcys being

(01:16:21):
better than hang Man out of page. In my opinion,
ever since We'll lost Ray was signed AEW, He's been
nothing but every single match he wrestles is great. He
puts a lot of responsibility on himself to out first
and foremost to shine, which he does, but he also
does a great responsibility of shining the opponent as well.
You know, someone who fights to will ospray, you're gonna

(01:16:42):
talk about Osprey, You're also gonna talk about how good
his opponent did. And this match was good. This match
was good. It did it's due diligence, but overall, hang
Man Out of Page becomes the number one contender for
the AW World Championship at Texas. All in, all gravy,
maybe it's all good. I love to hand Jet and
shake gesterure at the end. It was a nice little
spot for Hangman to finally kind of finalize this whole

(01:17:05):
babyface role. I can't I can't wait to see what
happens on Dynamite. You know, Hangman out of Pages is
gonna come out and he's gonna be loved by the fans,
and he's gonna love the fans. I couldn't have done
it without you then we lost. Ray is gonna come
out and you know, be like, we're all relying on you.
Probably at the end of ae W Texas, all in
you have him beat John Max and everybody comes out
and like a Bret Hart and Yokuzuna and Cody Roads

(01:17:26):
and the Roman Reigns. You're gonna have, you know, everybody
put him on their shoulders and be like, oh, you
brought the aw Rold Championship back. Awesome, bro awesome, awesome, awesome,
But uh, you know, but that's just my opinion. If
I if I call that, that would be totally awesome.
All right, guys, we're in our fifth and final segment.
This is my last segments as the GSMC Wrestling Laureate

(01:17:49):
podcast host. We have WWE Money into Bank predictions. We're
gonna talk about some matches that are already made possible matches.
We're gonna talk about who's gonna fill in those last
spots in the men's and of women's ladder matches. So
don't go anywhere, grab your favorite snack, grab your frimite
lay school, grabage. You join me here in about twenty
five seconds. So yeah, hey, like I said, do not
go absolutely anywhere, and we are back with the GSMC

(01:19:28):
Wrestling Lauria Podcast, brought to you with the g s
MC Sports Network. I'm your favorite wrestling fan here Eric
Brodriguez every Monday Night Live. This is my last show
and definitely make sure you guys, you know, like a
subscribe to the g s MC Sports Network. Also check
me out, Eric Brodriguez. You guys know my name, and
you know, in a couple of months probably start my
own wrestling podcast. Definitely will be given a shout out

(01:19:48):
to this folks at the GSMC Sports Network for helping me.
You know, definitely, you know, start me off. You know,
learning a lot, learning how to run obs, learning how
to you know, ultimately put together like a podcast, so
you know a thousands of percent gonna be throwing flowers
to them, you know, love them first and foremost. Definitely
you know, recommends you guys subscribing to such an amazing
sports network, such an amazing podcasting network. Who care about

(01:20:11):
the fans. You know, we see you guys as a
family other than other than a product, you know, not
trying to fight for your attention. Oh maybe here sometimes.
But anyways, we got a fifth and final segment. We
got WWE money in the bank or you got money
in the bank. I've got money in the bank predictions.
That is okay, So let's without further Ado talk about

(01:20:32):
some WWE money the bank happening Saturday, June seventh, Indian
into It Dome and Los Angeles, California, and it's going
to div all into it. We have Becky Lynch taking
on Liberry val Caier. I hope we did de thrown
her for the women's of Thecrondentle Championship match. I've kind
of already stated in my Monday Night Raw review. Make
sure you guys showed out that video. You know, you

(01:20:54):
had Libry Valcaria successfully defend that backlash. You know a
lot of people thought Becky was gonna win. I was
one of those people. So now it's kind of like
in the eyes of WW I feel like they're kind
of like, okay, yeah, now it's cool for her to
drop the title, you know, but I gotta be honest.
I hope that she does it. You know, I love
Becky Lynch. I don't like this heel turn. I gotta

(01:21:18):
be honest. Whenever she comes and she opens her mouth,
I gotta be honest. I'm like, it doesn't really the man.
Becky Lynch can do helish things, can do babyface things
and still be considered as like a healer. Or Babyface
to the fans. If that makes sense, I'm not too sure.
I mighta lost your guys there. But if you're like,
you know, really killing the fans, you know, if you're

(01:21:39):
talking trash and you can totally tell with in her voice,
I feel like she feels like she's forcing it, you
know what I mean. Like in this modern day professional wrestling,
I feel like you don't really have to kind of,
you know, insult the fans anymore. You kind of just
you go out there and you do your own thing.
And if there was somebody who was the best at it,

(01:22:00):
it was Becky Lynch and now were actually going out
there and her like doing healish things, which is cool,
but at the end of the day talking to the
fans and seeming like she wants to be the ultimate,
the final boss or the big villain here, like doesn't

(01:22:21):
really superstyle in my opinion. But you know, like I said,
I could be wrong, but I knew Becky Lynch was
going to get a second shot. So you know, we
probably see Library vacuate job at that title main event time.
We have ja Usso teaming up with Cody Rhodes taking
on John Cena and Logan Paul pointless pointless pointless tag
team match here. I thought it was super stupid. You know,

(01:22:42):
Johnsona should be finding his own match. Ja Usa should
be finding his own match. Cody Rhoads came out on
Monday Night Raw No No on WWE Saturday Night's main event.
I thought he was gonna invoke his rematch clause at
Money in the Bank, but instead randomly brought up a
tag team match at Money in the Bank, and it
was like really did like really? So now we have
Logan fall which who should be in the men's money

(01:23:04):
to make match and you should win it, team up
with John Cena, and then you have Jay Usa taking
on Cody row I, like I said, I don't really
see the point of this unless WWE is solamente kind
of making sure that we have bowl champions inside the
ring at the same time, and you're gonna get the
money to make cashion, you know, whether it's seth Rawlins,

(01:23:27):
you know, or maybe even the La Knight who knows
Penta sol So CoA who knows as of right if
some of those kind of seems like he's kind of
like a sidekick the Jacob Tattoo now, But I don't
know it is what it is, but I don't know.
For me, I was like you, I could have done
without this match, but you know, it is what it is.
Jacob Fattoo defended his WWE United States Championship. I feel

(01:23:50):
like would be awesome against Jason Matteo. You've seen Jason
Matteo and Sol sicoa kind of seen that Jacob Tattoo is,
you know, not really complying with this new agenda. You
know Jacob obviously he doesn't respect Jason Matteo and he's
been very vocal about that and Jay you know, maybe
JC and he's like, you know what, why not going
on trying to take the titles off? He fight me,

(01:24:11):
fight me for that title. Then if you feel so
confident that I'm not a threat to you or your family,
maybe we can get that. I for one, would love
that Dominic Masseiro defends the WWE Intercondental Championship against aj Styles.
I feel like this match at this point needs to happen.
Former Bullet Club member obviously you know Vinn baalor this

(01:24:31):
could finally be Dominic Mysterio going up against from Beller
and finally the implosion of the Judgment Day this Judgment
Day storyline has been going for three years, longer than
I thought it would. After like six months of it happening,
I thought it was going to fail. And WW is constantly, constantly,

(01:24:51):
constantly trying to keep the fans into it, with the
addition a Live Morgan, with the addition of Raquel Rodriguez,
and now you have Rock Sam Perez too. Like after
you kick out where Ripley and Damien Priest, you're kind
of like, I don't know, you know, street trash. I
guess you could say this needs to stop. I feel like,
you know, honestly needs to stop. Dominic mysterio. You know,

(01:25:14):
you had your fifteen minutes of fame, you know as
the Innercondent Champion. Can you really beat anybody straight up?
And if you do, will people really honestly believe it?
Or you gotta cheat every single time to win the championship?
Is that really where we're going here? Like, you know,
like is that what you want to do? Or do
you want to ultimately kind of refin not revive the

(01:25:36):
career of AJ Styles. But he's on his way out.
He's on his way out in wrestling. He's gonna you know,
he's gonna he's gonna be retiring pretty soon. You have
about maybe two three years good left in ag styles.
Give him a w w uner Condo championship run. He
should have been a longer reigning WWE champion. Obviously that

(01:25:56):
was kind of reserved for like, you know, the Roman
reigns kind of thing. But something needs to happen, Something
needs happened, dominic mysterio. Like I said, fifteen minutes of fame,
congratulations at WrestleMania. Cool awesome. You get to celebrate, you know,
with the fans and shit like that, and so sorry,
excuse me, but you know it's something. It's time next.
I feel like Tiffany Stratton will fight Naya Jack's at

(01:26:19):
Money at the Bank. This will be Nijacks's last chance
to regain the WWE Women's Championship. Maybe it happens, maybe
he doesn't. I know that Tiffany recently defeated Naya, and
I know she got busted open because of it. But
it's a possibility, you know. I both of these girls
absolutely phenomenal. I'm a huge Naya Jack's guy. I would
love to see her, you know against Tiffany Strion. Well fought, hard, fought,

(01:26:42):
match Nia Jacks. You know, she she wins, No, she loses,
but she ultimately wins. Tiffany Stratton knocked out, Bam, Julia's
music hits, a Roxanne Perez music's hits, and then Bam,
you have a new w w W Women's Champion. I
feel like this money in the bank is going to
be big, you know. I feel like we're gonna get
cash ins from the men's and the women's from the

(01:27:04):
get go, and then following Monday and following Friday, you'll
probably get a you know, you'll probably get a fresh draft,
you know, which they kind of need. WWE has been
kind of giving me, you know, questions lately. I'm like,
all right, it's Vince mc mahan back writing the storylines
once again, because it's dog crap. I'm just kidding, h no,
but seriously, but I'm kind of like, okay, t's paulovec error.

(01:27:24):
It seems like it's a it seems like it's all right,
you know, you know, Cody Rhoads and finishing his story
against Roman Reigns. Maybe paula Vec got a little lucky
there and be like, oh, it's so great. This is
what Triple h was meant to do. This is what
this is what wrestling fans want. But you know, I
don't know. Maybe it's just I'm gonna see Ni Jackson

(01:27:46):
the title. Think sure, I thought'd be pretty badass seeing
Punk will fight either bron Breaker or Bronton Reid. He's
gonna fight either one of those guys. Paul Hayman obviously
Bean ring side, you know, former best friend looking dead
in the eye, see him Punk staring, not Paul Hayman's
new guy, and you know you'll probably get to see
him Punk winning. You know, honestly, in my opinion, maybe

(01:28:07):
we get a tag team match. We get a WWE
Tag Team Championship match against the Street Profits and Praxium
where you finally get Phraxium. I don't think it would
get the titles to Phractionum run away. But although I
wouldn't understand, I wouldn't be against them doing so because
the Street Profits are, They're on fire. They're the best
tag team on SmackDown first and foremost in WWE, probably

(01:28:30):
as well. You know, I'm not buying the New the
New Nude Day, you know, pretty deadly. Ligato del fan Tasman.
I love MotorCity machine Guns. I feel like they're gonna
be another tag team championship run Phraxium Young, and that's
going to to be kind of like their Achilles heel,
where just because they lose doesn't necessarily devalue their stock.
It just be like, Okay, they're they're young, they're still

(01:28:51):
trying to get the you know, they're trying to still
get the ropes. That is, the main roster is smacked
on a raw, so you know, you kind of have
these guys, you know, lose but without lose, So would
love to see the true profits retain there. We're gonna
have the woman's money in the bank match. We already
have Ray Ripley, Alexa blisz Rox sand Perez, and the
beautiful madness that is Julia. We've still got some spots

(01:29:13):
open Bianca, Butlia I know she's suffering from a hand injury.
Maybe she can do it. Jade and Naomi, I know
it's already they've kind of had their shots, you know,
maybe even Charlotte. I feel like there was going to
be like a last you know, a last minute like
second chance shot or something like that, where we will
see one of these, you know, one of these two
women kind of go out there and you know, kind
of do their stuff a little bit. But I don't

(01:29:34):
know who all knows, or maybe you might get an
Ivy Nile join in and you know you need a
wild card. But out of all these women, the person
to cashing the money in the bank, the only thing
that really kind of makes sense is either Rox sam
Perez or Ray Ripley. Mm, mommy, is miss money in
the bank? Mommy in the bank. Maybe they might do

(01:29:57):
something like that, Julia possibly, but I feel like there
will be a spot in the match where Julian Rox
Sanperez were like, you know, there was some so gun
ho about teaming up to take on EO Sky and
Ray Ripley, but then like they fight against each other
at the last minute and then bam, that's when like
you see either Alexa Bliss or Ray Ripley go up
there and retreat the case bam boom CSC. I wouldn't

(01:30:20):
want to be But you know, there's still I don't know,
it's still up in the air. The men's money in
the bank. So let's go to talk about it. We
got Penta qualifying, we have La Night, we have set
the freaking rawlins. As of last night and then you know,
so let's go of course, so you know, still a
lot of up in the air. I feel like although
Chad Gable didn't qualify, he's gonna find a way to

(01:30:41):
qualify Grande Americano. I see Grande Americano being in this
mister money in the bank kind of area. And like
I said, Joe Hendry, Joe Hendry dropping the title against
Trick Williams at NXT Battleground, you know, you know he
didn't do that for a reason, right, you know, his
contract is up with t and at the end of
the year, this guy's coming to Monday Night Raw. This

(01:31:03):
guy's coming to SmackDown. This guy's going to be drafted
by the w w E, the first ever TNA star
to be drafted by w w EE and the first
ever miss the money in the bank. If you had
Joe Henry's money to bank, you could definitely you can
definitely know that all the eyes are going to be
on the w w You're gonna get a lot of
revenue from you know, from a lot of eyes on

(01:31:26):
on WWE television because because of how how much of
it is an awesome wrestling in international sensation that is
Joe Hendry seeing Funk also could be in the match.
I'm not really hyped about it, but like I said,
you know, I feel like he's going to take on
either Bronson Reid or Braun Breaker for you know, just
to kind of, you know, you fight Seth Rowins' his name,

(01:31:47):
because I feel like him and Seth Rowland. Maybe I
feel like for sure he's gonna square over Seth Rawlins
in the money to Bank match and you know, obviously
furthering their their feud, like what he did the Jamacintire
a year ago at money to Bank where drew cash
and it didn't really didn't really turn out right, but
you know, it is what it is, is what it is.
Who knows, well, guys, this is it. This is it.

(01:32:09):
This is the last episode of the g SMC Wrestling
Laurier podcast in history. So, like I said, I hope
you guys enjoyed the podcast. Hopefully you guys enjoyed the show.
Definitely leaving you guys, you know, just make sure that
you guys, you know, definitely appreciate life. Definitely love one another,
love thy neighbor. Always be a good guy, always be

(01:32:31):
a good you know, good girl. Having had dignity, you know,
cheating people with respect, be nice to one another. We
got to come together as a society to take on,
you know, take on all the upcomings in the world.
You know, if you face it alone, it's you know,
it's a harder fraught battle. But if you you know,
spend time with family, definitely build up you know, a
nice structure of you know, of love of your friends

(01:32:53):
and families, you know, your neighbors, and you know, always
remember to be kind. I feel like that's the huge
uh you know, peace, love and positivetivity of the GSMC
Wrestling or podcast is you know, have fun doing things,
you know, just you know, just god, it's so crazy.
This is my last last podcast, but like I said,
not the last. You'll probably seeing me go see my
annoying face pretty soon. Pretty soon. Had an awesome little

(01:33:17):
podcast here. Like I said, once again, want to thank
the GSMC Sports Network for being amazing, you know, working
with my schedule, but definitely you know, giving me the
opportunity of being something that I you know, couldn't think
I could be, you know, doing live stream you know
on a sports network, you know, front camera like this,
you know, the first couple of times. You know, probably

(01:33:38):
within the first couple of weeks. Now with months, I
said no, first month, first month, it was still like
it's still like nerve wracking, like it was crazy. So
you know the way I'm comfortable right now in front
of the camera obviously you guys see me jibber jabber
on and on. You know, you could probably look at
my first episode. You should definitely do it if you're
watching right now, you know, look up the GSMC Wrestling

(01:33:59):
Lory podcast, go all the way down to like the
first video and you can see me like, welcome to
to the gs and it's just working to the g
s MC. I'm just kidding, no, no, but I'm no.
It was a nine and day you know, different, nine
day different. You know, definitely appreciate you guys for tuning
into the g SMC Wrestling Lorrie podcast and you know,

(01:34:21):
like and subscribing and superman punching that you know that
butt into the g s MC Sports Network. So you know,
without film, you know, without further gilding the little you
just want to say, bid you guys do stay beautiful,
but of course always in for the last time. I
love you. Let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:34:46):
I wake up a little bit of trool on my
fellow field, like it's gonna be a bad day. I'm
tired of ship, and the coffee ain't hit yet. Damn,
ain't that great. I don't want to go
