Which was on Wednesdays and now our show.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
So I was, you know, able to kind of pay
attention to kind of job down some notes. Look at
some future WWE superstars that will you know, pretty soon
they will be a you know.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
A part of the roster or on WWE NXT.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
So we're gonna get into that. We have a jam
packed show, so let's not wait too long to get

You know, he just gets it. He just gets it. Anyways,
moving on, we have our first segment. We had WWE
(05:57):
Monday Night Raw Live tonight at Madison's where Garden, the
mecca of professional Wrestling MSG, the home of the New
York Necks and the New York Rangers. We kicked off
with some j Uso taking on Grayson Waller. It was
cool to see, you know, Usso start to build up
some momentum heading toward WrestleManias with the spear, with the spear,
(06:20):
with more the momentum win theory. Of course, you know,
he attacks and they you know, kind of got to
the point where I was like, you know what it
would have been. And then of course later you know,
you had Gunther come out well with the with the chokehold,
and then you know, he choked out the number one
contender for the w w E World t W which
champion at WrestleMania, j Uso. So when Guther came out,
(06:41):
I kind of thought there was gonna be like I
thought we were gonna get a little bit of American
Alpha or Alpha Academy come out and you know, kind
of help out j Usso who helped them out last week.
But we didn't get that. It would have been interesting
to kind of have like a you know, you know,
you had a town down under, you know, take out
ju So and Ja Uso helped out Otis and the
(07:02):
curate to Zawa last week. To Zawa Otis come out
to help out Jay Uso this week, and then you know,
then Guther comes out. Maybe you have like a like
a three on three match next week on Monday Night
Raw or maybe later on. But of course, you know,
the night was overfilled, but you know, over you know,
you had you know, Gunther choke him out, which was
which is exactly what I wanted, you know, which is
(07:23):
exactly what the WWE universe needs at this point, is
for Gunther to kind of seem like this overall unstoppable force.
You know, he's gonna do anything in his power to
win because right now, and I know a lot of
people might disagree with me, but you know, based on
the momentum that Ja Luso has and his murder RUMI
win and his damn near close win at WWE Saturday
(07:45):
Nights main event, j Luso kind of looks like he's
kind of looks like he's a favor here, and that's
not good. That's not what WWE overall wants. Couther's supposed
to be the favorite. He's supposed to be this big,
old badass guy. You know this. This is this big
brute that looks absolutely unstoppable, and jus is supposed to
(08:05):
be that beloved underdog, and I know he's been clinging.
He's been you know, he's been like a literally recite
RNTs recycle repeat or whatever, recycle, reuse whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
You know, though, Oh he can't do it.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Oh they say he can't do it. Yeah, say he
can't do it, But he can do it. I feel
like this whole overall, cause j Uso the minivan at WrestleMania.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
I do not think it would be for the benefit
of w W.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Well, of course, if you have you know, Gunther actually
seem like a damn near deserved champion because at this point,
you know, Gudtha just seems like a placeholder.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
He doesn't seem like he's.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Going to defend the championship with honor at WrestleMania at all.
He just literally seems like he's gonna lay down on
the mat, take a step aside, and you know, let
j Usso do his thing, which is uh, which is
not good, which is not good because Gunther is you know,
the overall perception of him, you know, but you know,
as the long training WW Intercontinental champion, and with the
world to w Witch champion, it needs to be a
(09:07):
little bit more of a stronghold. Right now, it seems
like the fortress is uh, you know, as impregnable as
like the opposite of like Fort Knox or whatever. Like,
it doesn't really seem like Gunther is really holding his
own here, doesn't really seem like he well, that's not
it's not really Gunther's fault or whatever.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
I feel like it is. Overall ww RE writing, I
was totally.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Flabbergasted once when Jay Usso won the WWE WRE Rumble.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
I was shocked.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
I was shocked because, you know, the moment he wanted,
everybody knew he was gonna challenge Gainther. Everybody knew he's
going to win based on you know, the evidence of
you know this and that the other. But now we're
kind of faced with the fact that Gunther looks weak.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Gunther looks weak as a champion. It's getting better.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Week by week, but you know, a couple of you know,
savage beatdowns, a couple of you know, back stage attacks,
or a couple of you know, just overall like you know,
sneak attacks, it's only gonna go along. It's only gonna
go one way, and it can go that way for
a certain amount of time. So WWE has some work
(10:15):
to do. They do one thousands of percent. Gunthera needs
to look like a fighting champion, you know. And I
know during the WWE Live Tour heading toward you know,
the European Tour, he's facing the likes of seth Rawlins,
He's facing the likes of CM Punk and I think
Drew McIntyre as well.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I could be wrong for that, you know, for in
the main event.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
I don't think it's for the title or whatever, but
maybe that's their way of kind of being like, okay,
like this is how we're gonna make guth look good.
This is how we're gonna make him seem like he
belongs on the main show. This is how we're gonna
make it seem like he is the world tivyweight champion.
Because as of right now, Jay Ussa was just running rampant,
and I know he's been getting beat down quite a bit,
but you know, I feel like at this point to
(10:57):
the unpredictability factor is gone. And if you if you
built out Juso this much and you had him win
the twenty and twenty five WWE r rumble just to
make it to WrestleMania, just to lose it. Just you know,
that doesn't seem practical, It doesn't seem pragmatic at all whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
So I feel like a lot of WWE fans, you know,
they know what's coming.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Obviously. I feel like right now, for me, as a
wrestling fan, I feel like I'm taking it in like
with the grain of salt. But for a lot of
WWE fans, they are ready for Juso to take his
spot in the circle of life in terms of WWE,
in terms of representing his family. Maybe perhaps you know,
you know, be coming out, you know, the travel chief,
(11:41):
so to speak. But I don't know. I just feel
like right now, Gunthor, he seems like he's you know,
kind of kind of on the edge here. But I
can't wait to see how WWE changes his character pretty soon.
Next we have Logan Paul come out. Moment Logan pol
comes out, he is absolutely booed one thousand and fire percent.
I for me, personally, I do like Logan Paul. I
(12:02):
feel like he's a phenomenal athlete, he has great matches,
he is a superstar. But then again, he's also a celebrity.
He's a YouTube celebrity. A lot of people like on
his podcast in Paulson where he interviewed w W announcer
Michael Cole. You know, he told Michael Cole that, you know,
he's he receives a lot of you know, go away
heat like you know, hey, dude, you don't belong here
(12:25):
in w WE. Michael Cole kind of phrases it perfectly
and be like, you know what, most of the w
W universe because what you and your brother have done,
you know, you put into work, but then again, you
didn't put in a lot of work that you know
a lot of people you know who is controlled and
control of the narrative and in control our perspectives and
stuff like that. You know, they say you need to
take this step to this step, to this step to
(12:46):
get here where you know you had Jake, Paul Logan,
Paul you know they you know, you know, skipped a
couple of steps there, you know, based on based on fandom,
based on popularity, based on social media platforms, and the
overall may image of likeness, like you kind of had
them kind of take a shortcut and a lot of
the w WE fans, you know, they don't like him,
they don't like the Paul brothers. For me, I feel
(13:08):
like it's great. I feel like it's great for WWE.
I feel like it's great for Logan Paul. I feel
like it's a nice little beneficial relationship between the two.
But overall, tonight on Monday and I wrote, you kind
of had the fans lay into Logan Paul telling them
how they really felt, and then AJ Styles comes out,
of course, to run Logan Paul out, building up that babyface.
You know, when they said AJ Styles was going to
(13:30):
come call out you know, Logan Paul, I thought it
was going to come out a little bit more different. Obviously,
maybe they kind of you know, called him audible at
the beginning of the show based on you know, how
everything was going down with Logan. But I can't wait
to see what these two do inside the ring. I
really can't. I feel like this is a WrestleMania worthy match.
They're gonna build it up. I know Aj Styles has
(13:51):
you know, he did some work. He actually does have
a little bit, a little bit experience working with Logan Paul.
You know, I read a backstage before that he definitely
did help him training one thousand and ten percent, So
you know, I can't wait to see this. I, you know,
aj Styles, I feel like wants Logan Paul to be successive,
to be successful. He wants Logan Paul to you know,
(14:12):
kind of be that the next phenomenal one because as
of right now, and I do love WWE, but the
main the main talent early you know, early thirties, late thirties,
Cody Rhoads, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntire, you know, seeing Punk,
(14:34):
seth Rawlins. I feel like right now they're kind of like,
you know, in the mid level, like kind of they're
at their they're at their prime, but they're kind of
going down obviously, you know, in terms of like injury
and getting injured more often, it's a little bit more,
you know, it's a little bit more common for like,
you know, seeing Punk or seth Rawlins to get injured.
But they're gonna need that new guy to step up.
(14:56):
And I feel like a thousand and time cent of
Logan Paul could be that guy. You know, there's some
guys in w W E, NXC that are dying to
make their step up. You know. I feel like, you know,
Carmelo Hayes. I feel like maybe he did get promoted
a little bit too soon because all on SmackDown he's
kind of been like like not a human pincushion kind
of thing. But you know, he has had his fair
(15:18):
share of losses. But again he's got his sneaky wins,
but not enough to kind of submit cement him as
a competitor for the WWE Championship. I know, once when
Electric Williams comes to the main stage, obviously you know
all Leego Ethan Page as well, you know, maybe something
might be different. But you know, from those two superstars
(15:39):
coming out of an XC, that's big, that's really really big,
and you know, but I'm gonna at Raw and SmackDown.
I feel like right now, you know, you kind of
have these top guys and like I said, they are
aging a little bit similar prims, soill able to do
what they have to do. But you know the future
of WWE right now. You know, I did watch WWE Evolve.
I have been paying attention to w W e LFG
(16:01):
obviously the n I l you know, it's uh.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
It seems like it's gonna work out, and it's gonna
work out.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
You have a lot of future potential, potential talent to
kind of come out and kick some ass.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
So, you know, I feel hopeful.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
I definitely do feel hopeful, but I do feel like
we need Logan Paul to to kind of a kind
of step up to the next level here. We need
we need him to be you know, I don't want
to say better, because he's really really good, He's very
very good. We need him to you know, I.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Don't know, but we need Logo Pole to do something.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
On thousand and all right, wrapping this up rapidly, we
had the New Day take on Mysterio and Dragon Lee.
It was a nice little physical about you know, in
the Tornado tag match. You know, it seems about right
between the two the two teams. I like it.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
The you know, a couple of near falls here and there.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Then randomly came out of mask Luchador that was you know,
expected to be Chad Gable, you know, and then later
on in an interview backstage, you know, you saw some
guy being carried off Chad Gable seeming like he is
the innocent one.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
But I don't know. It is a little funny. It
is a little funny.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
It is a little comic go but you know, I thought,
once when you saw Chad Gable except the box for
like a couple hundred bills, you know once from wwe
had that vignant on Raw last week, I kind of
took a little bit too seriously. And now it seems like,
you know, Chad Gable's kind of heading toward leg you know,
(17:34):
this whole thing with him going to Mexico too. You know,
you can't fight something that you cannot see. You have
to become lucha yourself, like right after what happened on
Monday and never I got to be honest, it seems
like it is a little bit of a joke. Now
I did not want it. I was like, dude, you know,
this actually could be a nice little storyline to maybe
(17:54):
bring Ray Phoenix in, so kind of, you know, just
something different. But you know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
It seems like it's kind of heading toward like a
nice little gag thing.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
But no, it should be interesting. Cody Rhoads comes out,
talks about John Saw how they will be under the
same roof next week together, so that's interesting. Where Cayle
Rodriguez wins and a number one contender shift for Livrival
Curias w W Women's Inner Canital Championship match with the
with the help of Dominic Mysterio and Live Morgan, She's
able to pick up the victory over Bailey, So that
(18:26):
should be should be pretty cool. I feel like this
is a great way to get bench Becky Lynch involved.
I do, and I know, you know, I did do
a segment about, oh, you know what, I don't think
I don't think Becky's going to be ready for WrestleMania.
You know, if you have all this, you know, Libravacurias
is going to be all by yourself. You're going to
have Live Morgan, Forkyle Rodriguez probably beat the holy crap
(18:47):
out of her next week on Raw, and then Becky
Lenz is gonna come and maybe her and Libra Valkuria
challenge for those women's tag team championships, which is a possibility,
and I feel like that would be a, you know,
pretty cool to see. Next, we have Chad Gable, like
I said, he was accused backstage. You see somebody with
the same gear, with the same luchador mask, with the
(19:09):
same physical attribute of Chad Gable being carried off. So
I thought that was ultimately kind of funny. Michael Cole
was in the ring introducing the new WWE Women's World
Tybe Waits Champion, Eo Sky, Damage Control and the number
one contender, Bianco bell Lair. Things got a little bit
of heated. Bianco Belair explains her actions. But if you
(19:29):
look at Eosky, looks like she seems like she's seems
like she can see right through Bellair. I don't know
if a lot of you guys paid attention to that,
but Eoskuty was kind of like looking at her like like,
who's trying to.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Who?
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Who trying to full?
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Man?
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Who trying to full?
Speaker 1 (19:45):
I feel like ultimately a bel Air did get involved
with the whole Jade Cargo thing.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
I just can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
I feel like at this point he kind of has
to because on SmackDown, you saw Jade Cargo just basically
wipe the floor of Naomi, just dominated her, just like,
you know, no problem, no problem whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
So it's like, did WWE really keep.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
The fans on the back and on the backgrounder who
attacked Jade just for her to solve her problem in
five seconds beating the holy hell of Naomi? Obviously, no
Naomi can out hold her own again to Jade Cargole.
So it's like, I, you know, I know Bianca, Butlla,
you know, she kind of came out as his baby face,
like innocent, like oh, I didn't do anything kind of thing.
(20:28):
But I feel like, w W, the universe was a
little robbed. I feel like it would have been better
if you had Bianca someone involved. Obviously, the storyline is
wide open, and it's still, you know, very much a
possibility that Bianca Bella will get involved. But at this point,
if it's just you know, if it was just gonna
be Naomi and you know, literally like Jade Cargo She's like,
(20:48):
you know, yay big and Naomi's like eh, And then
Jade comes in and be like stop pulling me.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Bam beats the holy hell out to Naomi and he
was like all right, fine, you know, I giving and
be like that was it.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
That was all. That's the that's what we've been waiting
for to find out who attacked Jada. Then Bam, Like,
I don't know, I feel like there has to be something.
I feel like there needs to be something done at
this point between you know, Bianca Belair and the whole
Jade Cargo situation just for the storyline to just feel
like not a Lane Duck storyline. But I don't know
(21:21):
who will see she is in the in the main event,
not in the main event in WrestleMania, fighting for that
women's World championship, so we will find out. Eos Guy
slaps the taste out of each woman's mouth. Obviously had
to wry Ripley come down, and Eos Guy seems like, hey,
why is attention?
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Why is the attention not on me?
Speaker 1 (21:38):
I am the champion, by the way, and it seems
like everybody's more interested into watching these two fight than
for me to defend my championship at WrestleMania.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
So she kind of, you know, she kind of like,
you know, pointed to the tune.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
She pointed to WrestleMania, the WrestleMania sign.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
So maybe that's a sign that we are going to
get this trip with our match, thank god, And you know,
and I I hope it's gonna be great.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
You know.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
I feel like these three women, their physical capabilities are
going to steal the show main event time. We got
seth rawlins and see them punk and a steel cage match.
I definitely loved how each each one of them kind
of held the door up and be like, hey, honestly, due,
if you want to get out of the Devil's pay
playground here, you are more than welcome to get the
holy hell out of here. You know, I'll hold the
ropes open for you. And none of them took it,
(22:23):
which was actually pretty badass. I love the physicality. I
would have asked for a little bit more blood. You know,
we didn't get any blood. And come on, guys, you know,
I know we got a holy crap, holy crap, holy crap.
I know we got a holy crap moment from the
super Lex, off of the wooded Pat McAfee, off the
top of the steel cage. But come on, guys, you
(22:44):
had CM Punk literally like draped over the top of
the cage and seth rawlins. You know, it was your
standard superplex and I feel like it was made into
something that really was not.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
So come on, guys, let's uh, let's get a grip
on it here. It's just kidding. No, it was cool.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
It was cool. It was pretty badass. I love the
New York Falls. I love the fact that each.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Of them us use their own move.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
The stop, the the go to sleep. So I was,
you know, excited to see that. I liked how Seth Rawlings,
you know, he pulled pulled the Kyle Fletcher how he
you know, he looked at Will Lost Pray in the
steel cage match at Revolution where he was like, you know, finished, Mary,
my god, it you bastard.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
You are astal, like you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (23:26):
And then Seth Rowlins kind of said the same thing.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
He was like, are you gonna earn it? Are you
gonna earn it, you asshole?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Or are you gonna earn it? And then like it
was just kind of like I was, you know, I
got major uh Kyle Fletcher and Will Lost Pray vibes
from aew Revolution. I gotta be honest. But you know,
then Roman Reigns comes out. Roman Rains comes out to
attack Seth Rowlings, and he comes out to a taxi upunk,
much through the chagrin of his wise man Paul him.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
And so we're gonna get.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
You know, some of that maybe on SmackDown. Obviously, remend
Rains was disappeared off w w WE for quite some time.
We did not know what was gonna be of him
in WrestleMania, and then now you kind of have the
Rock and John Cena. They're gonna come back to mon
They're not around next week. They're not gonna come back
to SmackDown. So you have one episode, you have one
(24:12):
episode two overall kind of you know, solidify this triple
Threugh match We're probably gonna get at WrestleMania to make
it seem like, to kind of get the fans to
be like, you know, this is what you want. If
you want it, you have to cheer for it if
you want it. Somehow, some way, we're gonna make this
Roman reign sing Seth Rowlins and Seampunk doing workout, which
(24:33):
I'm excited to you know, I'm excited to find out
if these three superstars, you know, But then again, I
don't want it to be like a way for like
Seampunk to pick up a huge victory over seth Rawlins.
I kind of thought about it today. You know, seam
Punk is overall, you know, he's uh, he defeated Seth
Rowlands last time obviously at the premiere of ww WEE
Monday Night Run on Netflix. So I really honestly did
(24:54):
not want Seampunk to win. I really did not want
I feel like, for the you know, for the better
of the character that is Seth Rawlins. He needed to
win one against Seampunk, and you know we're with Roman
Reins dragging him out of the cage.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Bam.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
You know, the first two feet hit the floor outside
the cage, Bam, He's declared the winner. You know, if
that was the excuse for Seam for Seth Rowlands pick
up a victory over Seampunk, you know, that kind of sucks,
but it's a you know, it's a nice little segue
into this possible star studied trouble threat match heading for
WrestleMania Las Vegas. So, all in all, great episode of
(25:29):
Money in I Raw. Honestly, I cannot give it an
eight point five out of ten. It was pretty badass,
and yeah we're ready for more, all right, guys, So hey,
do not go anywhere. We're gonna jump on into our
ae W Revolution review. So grab your favorite snack, have
your favorite art school of beverage. You joined me here

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Who is also a fan.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
You know, so you guys can talk about some go
to a fashion wrestling all right, without further ado, we
have ae W Revolution from the Crypto dot Com Arena
in the City of Saints and Los Souls, Los Angeles, California.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
We have aw Revolution all it all, I gotta be honest.
Besides the ending, it was good.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
It was really really goo good, you know, out of
ten ten out of ten stars, you know, I would
probably give it an eight. Given an eight, I I
thought the Mariah Man Tony Storm match should have been
should have been the main event. I you know, it's
the finale between the three, you know it was. It
was the rubber match for the ae W woms the
(30:19):
World Heavyweight Championship. And it wasn't you know, it wasn't
gifted to the to us. But all in all was
pretty decent. First match. We have a w Revolution Zero Hour,
we had about three matches. We had about three matches.
Obviously wasn't able to kind of keep up with all
of them, but I did watch this one. You know,
it's uh, you know the Wrizzler, you know, the friend
of the Wrizzler or whatever, you know, Warrence Cassidy and
(30:41):
Mark Briscoll picking up the victory here once again, just
kind of Tony Kahn appealing to you know, appealing to
like the celebrity appealing.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
To uh, you know, social media media. You kind of
see this in WWE with the you know.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Why did Travis Scott come out with the rock to
attack Cody Rhodes and a line with the new heel
that was pronounced John Cena.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
You know it was, uh, it is what it is.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
You know.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Sometimes you I don't want to say sell out because
that seems kind of bad, but at the end of
the day, you do kind of sell out for some
celebrities to be like, you know what, we need to
get some attention from some you know, some possible some
possible potential fans, and you know, by all means it's
it's a good idea. It's a good idea, especially with
WWE heading to Netflix, it's a great way to get
(31:26):
some new some new featured fans. We also have aew
that streamed for the first time on Prime Video. It
was forty nine ninety nine, and you know, I I
thought it would have been better if it was like,
you know, if it was available to people who actually
do subscribe to a to Amazon Prime. But you know,
we didn't really get that, which kind of sucked. But
(31:49):
I guess you know, you paid for quality. You paid
for quality. We have, you know, a couple of hell,
you know, pretty good matchups first and foremost. This matchup was,
you know, it was pretty good. You know, it was
a nice little tent by Brody King. Obviously I knew
this wasn't gonna be a match he was you know,
set up to win. You know, you saw another promo
how a lot of you know how he you know
how Brody King realized that the reason why Kazo Kata
(32:11):
gets a lot of his victories is because you know,
sometimes you know, you can't win them on sometimes you know,
the referee you know, he's the ultimate opportunistic person, and
Okada was able to kind of do the same thing
and defeat Brody King here to to retain that ae
W Continental Championship. You know, I'm I'm, I'm you know,
(32:32):
being me me personally as an ae W fan, and
I am a fan. I am a fan, but you know,
I'm kind of getting tired of this ragn I ultimately
are getting tired of this reign. I feel like it
would have meant more if you had this whole you know,
the the EVPs and the Elite storyline like go through,
but instead it wasn't really working out the moment, John
(32:52):
Oxley made his way to All Elite Wrestling to start
his death writers saying, you know that storyline with Matthew Nicholas, Jackson,
Jack Perry and they AW Content Champion Cantle Kada, it
went the ship. Sorry excuse me, it went the crap.
It with the crap thousand and ten percent. It did
not It did not work well. So now Okada looks weak,
(33:13):
Okada looks week. Jack Perry is nowhere to be found.
He wrestles in nutrimand Professional Wrestling. Matthew Matthew Nicholas Jackson
straight up ran to Nutriment professional Wrestling because they're like,
you know, we kind of screwed that one up there,
and I and the only one that's kind of left
to take the heat, and it kind of be looked
at as like a joke at least in my opinion.
(33:33):
A thousand percent in my opinion, is Coucher Chicao Kata
the aw content at the champion.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
You know, he's there to kind of take the heat.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
He's there to kind of, you know, be that one
trick pony, that one line pony that you know, he's
still the rain maker, He's still the man that Matthew
Nicholas Jackson. Jackson wanted to promote an AEW the signed
him to a giant contract. He made his debut in
ae W, defeated Eddie Kingston for that championship. And now
(33:59):
you see him, you know, he fights here and there,
and I feel like his credibility is lost.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
And I don't know if that makes a lot of
sense to you people, uh, because you know he you know,
the way he.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Wins, it's just a little scratchy, just a little but
then again, that's what he is, right and you know,
the duh Eric, that's what he is. But I don't know,
maybe I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
I I.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Know his talent. I've seen his talent in New Gami
Professional Wrestling, and it just irks me.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
And it just kind of sucks to see, you know,
him not kind of live up to that potential, you know,
like I said, maybe you know, maybe you know, backstage
he just seems like a Wan Trickconi, you know, want Trickconi,
you know, the rain Maker and stuff like that. He
you know, he he steals wins mostly because you know,
I don't backstage Tony Cony's like, Okay, this is this
is how we're gonna win. He's gonna do this, and
(34:52):
then the other year the heel.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
It makes sense.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
But to the fans, at least from my perspective, to
the fans that did watch because Jacocotta nw Jami Professional Wrestling,
I was like, you know, these wins, you know, this
isn't what New Japan Professional Wrestling really is about. But
you know, overall was a good match. It was a
good match, you know, with the heel obviously winning. So
I guess I can't be too upset. Maybe I am
too connected to this, uh, but maybe I should give
(35:16):
Okada a little bit of slide.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Well, do you know what I do? Give Okada a
thousand and ten percent of the slack.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
I just you know, kind of kind of hating on
AEW creative riding there and bookings.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
But it didn't really make sense, but you know.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
It is what it is.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Next, we had Swerve shrick Linn defeat Rickochet to become
the number one contender for the EW World Championship. He
makes an appearance at the end of the night to
attack John Moxley, and you know, I want to see
I want to see Swerve win this match. I want
to see Swerve beat the holy hell out of John
Moxley because you know, I do love mox I do
(35:50):
this death writers thing.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
You know, it did rejuvenate a little bit of what happened.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
When the EW. And I like that lame duck storyline
that was you know, Matthew Nicholas Jackson e VP's running
rampant all over dynamite collision and rampage.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
I I, you know, I get it.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
But at this point, like you just have John Moxley
doing these uh you know, wash rents and repeat promos.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Really you'd up being abused.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Marina Shaffir, Claudio Casanoli, the Master pack doing his dirty
working right now now it seems a little repetitive. It
seems a little repetitive. If somebody was to be throwing
John Moxley, I personally think maybe it might be Darby
Alley at all in Texas, the ultimate babyface win. Possibly.
But you know, a year from now at Dynasty, you
(36:40):
had Sar Strickland win that AW World Heavyweight Championship so
against Samobile Joe in naturalle threat match, maybe this might
be a way for it to come full circle. I
loved how a AW represented their first ever African American
AW World Championship winner in Strickland, so I would definitely,
(37:02):
But that's it, you know, once again, you know wrestling
fan biases. Uh, Swart Strickland one of my favorite wrestlers
since I was introducing to ae W. I was like, man,
this guy's really you know, he's pretty badass.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
He was special. Only to find out he did fight
in you know, WWE as well as well, and I was.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Like, holy crap, really but uh, you know, Ricochet, Rickochet,
all power to you, salute to you, my man, give
me your best.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Wasn't good enough?
Speaker 1 (37:27):
To beat who's oh's.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
But you know, I kind of you know, I felt
for Prince Nana once when he kind of walked.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Away and he was like, man, screw you man.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Like for me, I was kind of like, what is
this for?
Speaker 1 (37:40):
This obviously has to be for a reason, only for
it to kind of be like there was no reason
behind it. I kind of thought Prince Nana was going
to screw over s Strickland and be like a Ricochet
kind of guy. Uh. But you know Ricochet as well,
you know, coming in as this braddy, snooty, cocky, self
centered kid with the backwards filled out the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Hat that he wore on Dynamite last week.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
I I feel like if Ricochet maybe had a belt,
that would have made sense. But I feel like Rikashet
needs a championship in aw I do I feel like
that one thousand and ten percent. Obviously I don't see
him wearing that continental championship. Now you have Omega holding
that international championship and you know, maybe some ring of Honor,
(38:25):
Ring of Honor television champion. I can see that happening.
But this kid needs a belt because you know, he's
successful first and foremost and second of all.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
He just deserves it. He deserves it.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
You know the way you see Ricochet, although you might
not like him, you know, with the you know, with
the golden scissors and stuff like that, exposing you know,
the turnbuckle, this and that the other. You know, there's
nott Ricochet that you really cannot deny the fact that
he really keeps the audience on the edge of his
on the edge of the seats.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
He is mister pay per view. He is kind of
like the RVD of of ae W and he's kicking ass.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
I want to see this guy win. I feel like,
as of right now, he'd be more of a better
Ring of Honor world champion than you know, Chris Jericho.
But you know what it is, what it is. It
is what it is, and you know, actually, you know,
didn't Jericho lose that championship. Maybe I could be wrong,
I could be totally talking on my rs here, but
(39:21):
I just want to see Ricochet pick up some gold.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
But I do not think it's going to be an
ae W.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
I think it might be in a Ring of Honor.
Maybe they see MLLL, maybe in the independent circuits, maybe
you know, the Prince Muma, you know, maybe mix the condy.
But next we have Maxwell Jacob Friedman taking all the
hang mad Adam page and our regular singles bout.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
You know, I was kind of shocked that this wasn't
a little bit more. You know, it was physical, It
was physical, and it was one.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
Hell of a match. Obviously a lot of fans wanted
to see the whole hang mad Adam Page thing coming
to fruition, and it did. It did so, you know,
he was able to pick up the victory, which was
good for him, man, MJF.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
For me, I feel like he was kind.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Of riding this high. He was kind of riding the
wave of success a little bit here, and you know
what happened on Dynamite last you know, the last episode
where he was carried off and he was gonna light
at a page on fire, you know, and then I
don't know, I just feel like MJF should have won.
I might be crazy and I you know, which is possible,
(40:25):
but I feel like MJF should have won this match.
I do.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
I do feel like that one thousand and ten percent.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Like I was talking about, you know during my preview
of aw Revolution, these are little literally two cornerstone pieces
of what makes aw aw. You know, they started from
the beginning. They're both young rising superstars that they need
to you know, not pray on. That sounds a little weird,
but they need to be successful, so they could you know,
(40:54):
some merchandise. They can you know, sell tickets, so they could,
you know, so they could sell you know, new wrestling
generational fans to you know, come to you know, investor
timon to watching ae W and MGF does that.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Obviously that's MJF.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
And hang Man he he he has, you know, but MGF,
what's kind of right? When he was like, you know what,
Mjf's done nothing wrong. Whenever I do something, you get
on my ass. But when Adam Page does it, hang man,
it's all cool.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
You know.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
He can lights for Strickland's childhood dream house on fire
and it's okay. You can have Hangman Adam Page attack
ae W Wrestling legends backstage and guess what, it's okay.
You can have him throw fits because he's not getting
it what he wants and it's okay. So it's you know,
I'd like the the you know, the fatuation, the perspective
(41:47):
that the storyline was ultimately headed into.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
But I thought MGF should have picked up this duve.
I gotta be honest, I thought he should.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Have tag T match. There's not really much about this,
but the Hurts and the kid really on it.
Speaker 6 (41:58):
I don't know if any guys want you know, if
you guys watch this match or not, if you didn't,
just know that the Outrunners looked like professional wrestling fans
fighting in ae W and then that's cool, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
You know, they did the.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Whole Colgan light pump up the like you know they
do that kind of like yeah, radible blause.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
That's cool on all.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
But to beat the Hurt Syndicate, you're gonna need a
little bit more than just than just the wrestling fans,
you know, uh, you know, alter ego or whatever. Bobby
Lashley and Shouting Benjamin handled this match very very soundly.
They you know, they they dominated them from the beginning.
There was no chance that the Outrunners were going, We're
(42:41):
going to win. You know the way the match ended,
you know, you had you know, the knee to the
face off the top rope by Shelton Benjamin on both
Outrunners and he had a spear by Lashley had a queen.
You had a Queen a clean sweep that was the outrunners.
But the Hurt Syndicate they look like they're not stopping.
And you know, I looked at it, and you know
I tried, I tried to look at it in such
(43:03):
a positive perspective, but you know, I saw the way,
and you know, I saw how Bobby Lashley was ultimately
underutilized in w W E for for you know, for
basically forever, you know, for win in his first run,
also in his second run, you.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Know, with the whole Hurt business and stuff like that.
And you know, I'm kind of getting.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
A little you know, hints at of here and there,
you know, as the a W World Tag Team Champions,
Like I don't really, you know, I don't.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
I don't like seeing Bobby Lashley standing on the corner.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Why didn't once when Bobby Lashley debuted in ae W,
walk up straight to John Oxley's face to be, you know,
be like I'm next, Like you know, that would be
that would have been absolutely explosive. You know, MVP wants
people to get behind the Hurt Syndicate, but then they're
just you know, they're just tag team merchants. They're you know,
scoring easy tag team wins in the tag team division
(43:55):
a W, which by all means besides private party, and
of course you know in the you know cmll also.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Need Trump Professional Wrestling. You have all these other tag teams,
but in ae W, you know, they're they're just it's
just easy. It's just too easy.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
So now you need a little bit of a you know,
a challenge. So I feel like it would be ultimately
beneficial for the Hurt Syndicate to.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
Maybe add another member.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Cedric Alexander did recently get released from w w WE,
so we could have a Hurt business reunion. Here, Bobby
Lashley gives the belt to Cedric Alexander, and now we
have Bobby Lashley going after Kenny Omega, going after a
coach of Chicaocatto, or maybe going after John Moxley or
Swarp Strickland, which would make a lot more sense, a
(44:41):
lot more sense I would personally, I would prefer that
than seeing him in the tag team division.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
All right.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Next we had the that should have been the main event.
We had the timeless Tony starm taking on the former
ae W World Women's Champion Mariah May and a Hollywood ending.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
This match was a man.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
This match was beautiful. This match was perfect. It was
exactly what the fans wanted. It was exactly what took
AW to the next level in terms of the women's division.
Hopefully they don't mess it up now you kind of
have it being broadcasted. Who's going to be the next
one to, you know, to contend for Tony Storm's AW
(45:21):
World Women's Championship. I want to see a casino battle Royal.
I want to see something like that. You don't really
see women participate in that kind of match in AW.
I want to see something different. I want to see
an implement and on Dynamite on Wednesday. This needs to happen.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
We need to find a new We need to find
a new warrior.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
We need to find somebody to go face to face
with the time list Tony Storm, because as of right now,
she just she looks great.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
She looks great.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
Mariama is going to take a much needed vacation away
from me AW.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
That's that's just my opinion.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
You know, like Tony Storm did once when she lost
the AW World Women's Champion to Mariam, I feel like
now Mariama is going to you know, kind of take
some time away, come back in like a month and
month and a half and then be the next one,
be like Tony Storm like and then we're gonna see
these two girls go at it once again, which is great,
absolutely amazing, stellar, cinematic, beautiful story. Bam boom, see ya,
(46:16):
see ya. Wouldn't want to be It's a great match.
Not really much to say about that. If I say
more about it, I feel like I will ruin it.
But overall, congratulations to Tony Storm for regaining her championships,
and congratulations to Maria for putting on one hell of
a match. Kenny Omega, Kenny Omega is our new AEW
International Champion, de throning Don Kallis family members, Kenoskates, Keshna.
(46:42):
I thought Takeshnov was gonna win this one soundly. These
two guys literally went toe to toe with each other
for about twenty minutes in a match that you know,
it wasn't boring, It wasn't boring whatsoever. It did at
one point kind of get to like, all right, we're
in one of these guys gonna you know, fall down.
But Kenny Omega was able to do it, and he
was a smart decision. Smart decision, uh you know, Takesha
(47:03):
has held the title, he has already established credibility as
the leader of the Don Kallas family. Now he gets
to you know, he will probably kind of he will
revoke invoke is an invoke or revoke invoke invoke his
rematch clause to challenge for that AEW International Championship once again,
which seems fitting, especially going it up against one of
(47:25):
the best in the world, Kenny Omega. You know, Kenny
Omega winning this championship. I gotta be honest, is uh
is the right move for AW. You know, since he's
made his entering debut from when he was injured, he
was gone for about a year and a half. AW
took a hit, take a hit numbers to you know,
it still seems like it's declining in viewership, but that's
(47:46):
because Kenny Omega hasn't been around that much and now
that he's going to have a title to ultimately kind
of beat this recumference kind of be that radius of
of dynamite collision. I feel like dynamite. You're going to
see Kenny Omega defending that AEW International Championship a lot
in the main event on Dynamite, which is you know,
going to draw some more viewers, which is great, you know,
(48:10):
very known and nutrient professional wrestling. But here around the
United States where you know, you have a lot of
you you have a lot of like I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (48:18):
Say, like Southern media. I'm just kidding, No, not like that.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
But you have a lot of traditional wrestling fans. You
have a lot of fans that watched Keny Omega kind
of coming up in the you know, in the Independence.
That's the main reason why a lot of AW fans
kind of go, you know, they kind of know the
a lot of this international talent, a lot knots Skates Takeshna.
But now you have Kenny Omega being the champion. Kenny
Omega is something that the fans wanted. It's something that
(48:43):
the company definitely and desperately needed at this point. So
why did Kenny Omega dethrown Tkeshna at Revolution? I thought
me personally, I thought it would have made the Don
Kallis family seem strong, would have made them seem absolutely
like this juggernaut unstoppable for us if you would have
(49:05):
had knosk Keshena successfully retained the EW International Championship. But
but then you know, he lost, and then of course
Kyle Fletcher lost as well. For a little while there,
you kind of had Don Kallis's family being a little
bit of a joke. Then Lance Archer, you know, then
the Machine Brian Cage, and then you know, Kyle Fletcher
turning in his back on the Osprey and now this
whole Mark Davis thing, and you know, you kind of
(49:28):
had them, you know, seeming like one cohesive unit that
it was going to be one, you know, a couple
of badass superstars doing whatever it takes to gain gold.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
In ae W Britt.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
As of right now, it kind of seems like gay
you know, a little weak here and there, but not
taking anything away from kenos K. I feel like he
is ultimately ultimately the shining star and the Don Kallis family,
and I can't wait for his rematch against Omega, and
it's gonna be great. I feel like it's going to
happen at Dynasty and you know, maybe you might get
(49:56):
a title switch, you know, maybe maybe not, But ultimately,
these two competitors know each other like the back of
their hands, and it's definitely not the last time these
guys are going to be meeting. Next we have Mercedes
mone Uh successfully retaining her TBS championship against Momo Watson
Abby Great. It was a good match. You know, both
girls obviously, you know, injured after the you know, after
(50:18):
the bout, Mercedes Monette continues to be absolutely dominant, continues
to be absolutely you know, she's a still the performer
she really is.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
You know, she has great matches.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
She does her best to not just propel herself in
the square circle, but you know, she did a lot
a lot of the times you kind of saw herself
some uh saw some moves from Momo that I was
kind of like, you know, you know obviously based on
you know, you know, someone from stardom, Henny Tory w
You know, although you do see the partnership through and through,
(50:49):
sometimes it doesn't really transcribe into like, you know, paper,
you know what I mean. But this match is good
between both the you know, both the competitors four belts
Monette two and use her reign in aew and I
don't feel like it's stopping anytime soon. She's approaching her
one year anniversary at AW Obviously, she's made one hell
of a mark in all Elite wrestling, the CML of Them,
(51:13):
Professional Wrestling and Ring of Honor, So congratulations.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
I do not see her title reign ending anytime soon, being.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Really honest, I you know, I don't want to say
I see her running with this until like all in Texas,
where maybe you have somebody deth on hers, like oh
that's cool, you know, somebody beat Mercedes Moone. But thinking
about the people on the roster, I don't really see
a name that could do that.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
I really don't.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Maybe if Athena drops her Ring of Honor World Women's Championship,
maybe and then she comes to you know, to you know,
to get Mercedes Monet's AWTBS Championship.
Speaker 2 (51:46):
Maybe that could be because you.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Know, Athena and super amazing, super great, and I don't
know what's you know, she's a she's awesome, She's awesome.
Next steel cage match, Steel cage match, Will Osprey the
Area assassinate on the proto Star, the Kyle Fletcher, the
Don Calvis Family. Great match, a lot of blood, a
lot of bad blood. Definitely, it was kind of cool
(52:11):
to see both these superstars. You know, Like I would
love to reiterate on my podcast, is you know there's
a reason. There's definitely a reason one thousand percent why
you know, wrestling promotions they see these, you know, they
see two men in the.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Locker room that have amazing chemistry.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
Mostly, you know, they they've had successful the tag team
division lec Trip Lates and Shawn Michael SummerSlam in two
thousand and two, Kevin Owens Sammy's Ain obviously, the unsanctioned
match ad Elimination Chamber, Elig and Erica. Also Kevin Stein
Ring of Honor. No, you had that I Quit match
between Christian Cage and Adam Copeland Ford the TNT World
(52:50):
Championship a couple months back.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
It's because these guys they know each other like the
back of their hands.
Speaker 1 (52:56):
They trust each other. You know, when they were doing
a lot of crazy crab a lot of crazy stuff.
That Spanish fly from the top of the steel cage
was amazing, and Kyle Fletcher yelling at will Ospray like
it was it was nice and you know, kind of
licking the blood like it was. Uh, it was exactly
(53:16):
what we expected from this match. It's a rivalry that
is hopefully I want to see will Ospray kind of
move on from this. I want to see what's next
for De don Kala's family, because, like I said, you
have to catch it now, dropping that AEW International Championship
at Omega, and you know, it'd be kind of going
to see Will Ospray go after in Omega and have
(53:36):
a nice little match at a Dynasty coming up. That'd
be pretty bad ass. But you know, overall, great match.
It was honestly one of my favorite matches on the boutu.
And you know, being honest, I know they you know,
they got a lot of hate online. A lot of
people were saying that, you know, Mariah made Tony Storm,
Will Lostpray, Kyle Fletcher should have been the main event
of a W Revolution. But I didn't mind this match. Know,
(54:00):
you had Christian Cage come in, and I gotta be honest,
I didn't like it. I thought it was ultimately, I
don't know, I thought it was.
Speaker 3 (54:07):
I I.
Speaker 1 (54:09):
Thought Christian Cage was holding on to that contract for
such a long time since August, since August, and.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Then he you know, he just comes in just to
kind of have it wiped away.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
What does that do for Christian Cage? What does that
do for the patriarchy? Like and the show and it's
you know, goes to show that AEW just has so
much talent. They had just so much talent. Who's gonna
get the you know, he's who's gonna get the attention today?
You know who. You know, it's it's not a good
spot to be in if you're Tony con It really
isn't imagine like you know, it was kind of compared
(54:42):
to the money to make catching from Austin theory, it was.
It was that bad. The match was decent. You had
that like I was, like I ultimately predicted you had
that spot where we really would have have to choose
between Okay, do I choose honor and help out Cope
or do I you know, stick to the Stockholm syndrome
thing and help John Oxley, which he ended up doing.
(55:02):
So now you know you had Oudam Copeland screwed out
of the AW World Championship. He technically was not pinned
by Moxley. He Christian Cage was oh god, like, oh man,
that was.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
That was a doozy of a finish.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
It was, you know, after an amazing, great, successful night.
Speaker 2 (55:20):
It was you know, it wasn't the best. It really
honestly wasn't the best.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
But and still you're aw World Woman of World Women's
World Heavyweight Champion, Leader of the Death Writers John Moxley,
Los Angeles, California, Crypto dot Com Arena. It was, like
I said, all in all, I liked it. I thought
it was great, but you know, the the you know,
Christian Cage, I feel like Luke's he looks so weak,
(55:46):
very very weak. He's gonna have to do something on
Dynamite to ultimately kind of perpetuate and kind of prepel
him to the top once again. Because right now he
just you know, he seemed like a superstar, is probably
gonna get released that they're not renewed his contract, and
they're like, oh, we need him to get rid of that.
So now we're gonna get another competitor to kind of
turn in that contract.
Speaker 2 (56:07):
And I feel like it is gonna be.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Derby, But I don't know, a huge waste, what a
waste for Christian Cage man, that's crazy, all right, guy,
So hey, do not go anywhere. We're gonna jump on
into our next segment. We got plans for Roman Reigns
heading into WrestleMania forty one Las Vegas, nov So grab

and join me here in about twenty five seconds. So hey,

Speaker 2 (58:02):
We talk about it here on this show. One thousand
and ten percent.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
To make sure you got Superman punch that lack of
subscribe button to the show follow the show, followed the
network to make all your wrestling dreams come true. Of course,
if your dreams are to watch more wrestling content, then
I'm your man, all right, Without further ado, to jump
on into our third segment, we have Roman to reigns,
wrestle Mania plans, will wrestle Mania forty one to go
(58:27):
on without Roman reigns. I thought maybe like it was
like a twenty five maybe like a twenty percent chance,
But after what happened on WWE Money Not Raw, you know,
a you know, we all kind of saw this coming,
you know, not much of a surprise, and now we
are going to get a trouble threat match, but you know,
conspiracy theories in terms of wrestling. I thought it was
(58:50):
gonna be something a little bit more more complex, trippy
and cool, But so it seems like we are going
to get Roman Reigns at wrestle Mania, which is pretty
bad ass because he's been you know, he's been out,
he's been out of action since the War Rumble, you.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
Know, which is you know, it's not good. It's not
good for WWE. Roman Rains is the highest paid star.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
On the w w E roster, and him not being
a part of WrestleMania would have been would have been terrible,
would have been terrible because it seems like, and you know,
kind of sucks that it's true that he hasn't really
been on WWE quite.
Speaker 2 (59:26):
Consistently, you know, ever since.
Speaker 1 (59:28):
He won the Hula Fallow from Solo Sakoa at Saturday
Nights main event. He kind of took a kind of
took a little bit of hiatus there. Nobody knew where
to found him. The Rock didn't ask anything about Roman
Reigns when he made it back to the WWE. And
so now Roman reigns, you know, during the Word Rubble,
you know, he gets a let me to get stomped
by sept for all those once again. Then he's out.
So a lot of people didn't know what to make
(59:50):
of the whole Rooman Reigns thing heading into WrestleMania forty one.
But you know, as of you know what happened omen
in Ira, obviously things do change one thousand and ten percent.
But you know, he has appearances with the company, especially
during its European tour.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
He's going to be in.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Bologna, Bologna, Italy, is going to be in London, England.
So we're gonna get a more Roman reigns. So, you know,
I'm excited to find out what more is going to
come of this feud. We're gonna get a triple threat
match most likely maybe a number one Contenders match.
Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
That'd be pretty cool. You know, if Nick oldis or
you know, Adam Pearce is like, you.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Know, oh you did not rest main event WrestleMania, but
the winner of this match is the number one contender
at SummerSlam, that'd be pretty cool. I feel like that'd
be pretty badass. So you have Roman Reigns, you have
seth Rawlins, and you have CM Punk. You know, this
(01:00:50):
cage match on Monday Night, Robin was pretty cool, pretty
bad ass. It was you know, kind of cool to
see both of them open the door and be like, hey,
if you want out of the cage, go ahead. I'll
hold the rope open for you to get the hell
out of here. But then that superplex off the top
of the cage was it was exciting, but if you
look at it, sea Punk was kind of just like
slouched over like a sloth. And then you know, seth
Rong was able to kind of hit that superplex on
(01:01:12):
to seam Punk and you're kind of look at it,
You're like, wait a minute, if you look at all
the metrics, pay attention to physics, it's like, he's this
guy hit with the record was superplex and he was like, oh,
you know, it was cool.
Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
It was cool.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
It was badass, but you know, I think it made
They made a little bit of a too much of
a big deal about it, but you know, it was.
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
It was.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
It was decent. It was pretty damn decent. But yeah,
so we did come out to confront seth Rawlins, obviously
choking them out from the back. We're gonna get a
triple threat match heading toward wressel Mania, and you know,
obviously I had some conspiracy theories with this man right here.
(01:01:52):
Roman Rains is a star. Roman Reins is the you know,
he's the focal point of the talent on Monday Night
Raw on SmackDown, Netflix, United, the USA Network. They all
want some of Roman Reigns, but the best thing for
Roman Rains is the is the kind of be relevant
in the storyline, be relevant in the overall product of
the story. So you know, there's some possibilities, some chances.
(01:02:16):
I was kind of like, you know what, maybe just
maybe maybe you kind of have The Rock hijack WrestleMania
Night one like he did last year, like he did
last year, and then like maybe him and John Cena
and seth Rawlins, you know, maybe they come together, you
know with the you know seth Rawlins and his mutual
(01:02:37):
hate for Roman Reigns and you know, Cody Rhoads is
the same reason why The Rock and Johnsena want to
tear them apart. You know, maybe you could have got
a tag team match, Maybe you could have got a
six man tag team match where you could have had
you know, Cody Rhoads obviously, you know, teaming up with
Roman Reigns based on you know, everything that's happened with
the Rock. And then you know, then you have Sampunk
(01:02:58):
who needs that favorite uh and he calls it in
that favor to kind of help and he has Roman Rains.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Kind of watch his back a little bit here.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Obviously, Now it just seems like it's you know, kind
of wrapped in tin foil and already done because of
what happened on Monday Night.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Rod, we're going to get a triple threat match.
Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
But just playing around with a little little with it
a little bit. It would have been an amazing star
sunded tag team match if you would have saw basically
Roman Rains, you know, team up with Seam Punk with
Cody Rhodes to take on that, you know, to take
on that one person and you know, two people who
(01:03:40):
who cost him the match and had you know, Cody
Rhodes finish the story, John Cena and seth Rawlins and
of course with you know, with The Rock and everything
like that, you.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Know, his uh, his cousin that you know, went rogue
a little bit.
Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
But it would have been I feel like it would
have been awesome, you know if you had you know,
if you would have had this tag team match coming out,
you know, you had Seam Punk call out you know,
The Rock and John Cena on Monday Night Raw last week.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
I thought it was going to be them overall to
confront seampunk, but then Roman Ragnes had to, you know,
come and kick some ass and take names.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
But I don't know right now.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
You are going to get that triple threat match seampunk obviously,
Like I said, calling out The Rock and John Cena,
I feel like, maybe I don't want to call it
lazy storyline because you know, gosh, cause it's gonna be one.
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Hell of a match.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
So I can't be too upset about it. I really
honestly can't. I want to see something more from the Rock,
but I know, and you know, it's a damn shame.
It's a damn shame. I personally think The Rock is
going to be just like a manager kind of right
now on ww WE, on WrestleMania. Maybe he finds a
way to help Cody Roads lose, and then, you know,
(01:04:54):
I I gotta be honest, I want to see John
Cena walk out the winner. You know, I want to
se see him the new WWE champion. I honestly do
ay and ten percent. It was rumored Dave Meltzer said
it in Wrestling Observer that WWE did, in fact want
to change Cody Roads this persona and have him be
(01:05:15):
a heel. But you know, gambling with the top baby
face in WWE is not really smart. So overall, the
you know, the choice with the John Cena. But you know,
now we're gonna have these three guys wrestle on the
Triple Our match. I'm down for it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
I feel like it's great, you know. I I feel
like this will ultimately kind of set something up towards SummerSlam.
Towards SummerSlam, like maybe gets to the point where, you know,
I feel like seth Rawlins and Roman Reigns will kind
of step up and kind of you know, kind of
segue into something like their own thing.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
I feel like Seampunk will maybe you know, find a
way to.
Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
Maybe tag team with Roads to take on the Rock
and John Cena at SummerSlam, which would seem fitting.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
You know, we're gonna get John Cena. Well, I don't
know how long John's gonna be in there. That's the thing.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
I know, He's already planned for, you know, at a
Saturday Nance main event and you know, a bunch uh
two or three smackdowns and then that's the end of
his Uni retirement tour. So this whole thing was sampunk.
Like imagine if sampunk is a rock guy. Maybe the
Rock loses John Cena and then maybe gains another guy,
(01:06:34):
maybe gains another person to take that overall spot that
he wanted Cody Roach to fulfill. And I can see
Sampunk do that. I can see because he hates everybody.
He even said it himself. He's not here on the
raw roster, or he's not here in WWE. He did
not come back and prove that he's the best in
(01:06:55):
the world for no reason. He came back not to
make friends. He can't back to crash the cruck, schools,
cash and checks, protect his family, you know Dog Larry,
you know aj Lee whatever. And now he's gonna be
this unpredictable badass who you know, even if he kind
of takes the Rocks side, he's gonna be a forever babyface.
(01:07:17):
I don't think he could possibly be a heel because
even when he's acting heelish, the fans love Seempump for
being Sea and Punk, and the fans are gonna understand
it like a sea and Punk is doing Sampunk things.
This isn't called being a heel. This isn't called being uh,
you know, an antagonist. This is just what this is.
Who in cempunk is. So maybe in that kind of
you know, retrospect, maybe it might be a bad idea
(01:07:38):
to kind of, you know, for the Rock to add
seampunk to his uh, to his faction once when John's gone.
But I know, sooner rather than later, I feel like,
you know, because as soon as Johnson it went heel.
He took to social media saying that sometimes you kind
of have to do the hard thing even though you
know nobody. You know, nobody wants you to do it,
and you don't want to do it, but you have
(01:07:59):
to do it.
Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
It kind of gives people wrestling fans like a way out,
gives them like a way out. Like I feel like
later on down the line in WW you have Cody
Roads earned the respect of John Cena. John Cena's gonna
realize it and he's gonna He's gonna kick the Rock
in the nuts or something like that. That would be
a great little storyline if you're having the Rock take
(01:08:21):
on John Cena maybe at SummerSlam, But like I said,
you don't really know the availability of John Seen at
this point. I feel like the way you're handling the
Doctor of Economics is like you're planning to keep him
to the end of the year. You know, you have this, Okay,
we turned Johnson to heel out elimination Chamber, and now
we have about forty to like thirty five days until
(01:08:43):
WrestleMania forty one.
Speaker 2 (01:08:44):
In Las Vegas.
Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
Are we going to be able to kind of push
something for a storyline that makes sense?
Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
And they did a good job.
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Wh the biggest heel turned in WWE history, The most
watched thing in on social media was John Cena turning
heel kicking Roads and the nuts, and so I'm like,
all right, you kind of have this big thing that
happened with John Cena.
Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
Does johnsona have one more big moment left in him?
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
You know, like what if at the end of WrestleMania,
you know, you have the rock trying to help out
John Cena to win the match against Cody Rhodes. John Cena,
you know, although he did turn heel, doesn't necessarily mean
he wants to win with disgraceful you know, disgraceful you know,
backup from the final Boston Rocker, maybe he kicks them
in the nuts, you know, having their match build up
(01:09:33):
because both of them have a one one record against
each other, we don't have a you know, definitive winner
between The Rock and John Cena. We still need that
tiebreaker match, and it would be absolutely phenomenal to see
these two superstars go at it, especially with Johnson. Imagine
John Cena, you know, the one person during it, during
during John Cena's a huge reign of dominance in the
early twenty tens, late two thousands, there was only one
(01:09:55):
person to kind of, you know, be that equalizer, and
it was The Rock. It was the you know, we're
into shirts like boots, the asses kind of thing.
Speaker 5 (01:10:03):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:10:04):
He you know, he took that little stupid like little
spinny belt, fixed the WWE championship and made it seem right.
I you know, these two being together like right now
it makes sense. But I do feel like there's an
overall just there's got to be something more. There's got
to be something more to this storyline. There's got to
be something more to what seth Rawlins and Roman Reigns
(01:10:26):
wants to accomplish. And there has to be something more
than you know, seeing punk Seampunk. You know, Seampunk is
probably the only superstar that could rely that could literally
show up to Raw or SmackDown and not have a
definitive like character stance or not be like a heel,
baby faces and the other. So you know what's gonna
happen with this one? Seth Rowlinds saying, I know a
lot of people are debating on seth Rowlins turning heel,
(01:10:48):
him aligning himself with the Rock to take down Roman
Reigns and see them punk.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
So you know that I could see that happen.
Speaker 1 (01:10:55):
I could definitely a thousand and ten percent see that happening,
especially you know, I do think that main event match
with John Cena and Cody Rhodes needs to be There
needs to be a stipulation. There needs to be a
stipulation or you're gonna get that you know that cheeky,
that cheap. You know, the referee gets knocked down and
then everybody comes down, all hell breaks loose, Like I
(01:11:17):
you know, I can see that happening. No tripic combat
because Roman Reigns isn't involved, so or sold sic or whatever.
But I don't know. Something needs to make up about
this triple threat match. I know they're fighting at WrestleMania,
and I do have high hopes and it's gonna make
sense at the end of the day. But uh, you know,
post WrestleMania, I feel like just you know, on the
(01:11:38):
first episode of Money and I Raw after Manian, there
just needs to be you know something, you know, something
just something different, something bad. Ask John Cena or seth Rawlins,
you know, takes the deal from the final Boss and
then you know ba all right, God, So I do
not go anywhere. We're gonna jump on into our next segment.
We got MJF signing a lucrative contract with ae W
fifteen million dollars plus a year, So we're gonna get
(01:12:00):
into that when we come back to grab your favorite snack,
grab your favorite Askool beverage, and join me here in
about twenty five seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
So hey, do not go anywhere.

True, of course, if your dreams are to consume some
free wrestling content. All right, without further adode, let's go
and talk about some Maxwell, Jacob Freed and mjf The
best there is, the best there was end.
Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Nope, that was very hard. Just kidding, you know, moving on,
but you know, I love MGF.
Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
I love what.
Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Mgf's doing on on eight. Sorry excuse me. On ae
w on ae w He's he's da boy, He's yeah
boy him.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
You know, with this match with Hangman Adam Page at
AEW Revolution, you've literally saw the future of aw instide
the ring fight against each other. It was, you know,
it was a nice, little, well fought match, you know,
technical down to the point. You know, you had MJF,
you know, pander to the crowd a little bit, get
him all round up, and that's something.
Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
That obviously that's what that's what he does best.
Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
There's nobody who does it better than MJF. MJF recently
appeared on the Sports Illustrate on the s Side Media
Sports Illustrated Media podcast with Jimmy trying to traina the
former AEW World champion. You know, he recently denied reports
of making fifteen million dollars a year. He said this
(01:14:51):
and that quote. The amount of money that I get
by the time it is over surpasses fifteen million dollars,
which is good, you know, which is exactly what he deserves.
And he went on this, He went on to uh,
he continued to say this, and I quote he says,
I'm making top guy money, whether it would be on
ae W contract or WWE contract. MJF definitely emphasized how
(01:15:14):
he is significantly younger than other top stars you know
in the industry. You know, and like I was talking
about earlier WWE, you know, you have Randy Orton, you
have Cody Rhoades, Kevin Owens, and then you know, you
kind of have them, you know, kind of topping out
a little bit, well, Cody, and you know, they're they're
they're young ish, but uh, you know, Roman Reigns, he's
(01:15:35):
he's getting older, He's getting older. In thousand and ten percent,
I feel like the piece that they were trying to
push over, especially during the Vince McMann era of Vince
McMahan's Last Guy Austin theory, wasn't really good. AJ styles
getting older, you know, almost retiring, you know, the Undertaker gone,
Kine gone.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
You know, there's and then NXT.
Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
The only two top guys from NXC that I can
imagine making and influence on w w WE would probably
be Trick Williams and Ethan Page.
Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
That's just me.
Speaker 1 (01:16:06):
I feel like that would be the two guys that
would you know, be like, oh, you know, these guys
could be like the next you know, Cody Roads, Drew McIntyre, like,
you know, they're they're getting all older, but they are
relatively healthy, you know, Seth Rowlinds, Seampunk Dream McIntyre last
year actually dealt with injuries. Right now, Damian Priest seems
like he's also on his way up, so the you know,
(01:16:27):
Carmelo Hayes being drafted from NXT, I feel like he
can also make his way up to the top, but
it's gonna take some time. It's gonna take some time
right now.
Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
Right now he's kind of dealing with his losses, but
you know, eventually he will.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Be a part of the you know, the main stage,
the main card in terms of the WWE Championship.
Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
But you know what mj you know, he's twenty eight
years old.
Speaker 1 (01:16:50):
That is absolutely thousand percent phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal what MJF
has done ever since he you know, he's a generational
talent that's not much of a not much of his price.
He said this all as well, and I quote, I
won the bidding war w W WE didn't win the
bidding war ae W didn't win the bidding war. I
(01:17:11):
won the bidding war because I make an absurd amount
of money. That's a that's pretty cool. I obviously, you know,
always count on NAMJF to constantly, you know, feel like
he's inter wrestling from a you know, during an interview,
you know, you know, on stage, behind the scenes on
(01:17:31):
a documentary, and you know they aw all access that's
on HBO Max, Like you can always kind of like
stay in character. You know, you see him on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Slash x or whatever you like to call it.
Speaker 1 (01:17:44):
You know, I'm talking to fans and being disrespectful, like
you know, it's just that's just who MJF is, and
it's a you know, I definitely love how he sticks
to his craft. I honestly feel like and I do
love John Oxley, and I did love Brian Danielson's run
uh S Strickland one of my favorite wrestlers.
Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
But I really don't see a suitable champion for that
ae W world title. And you know that's not MJF.
Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
MJF is like like the rock Stone called Steve Austin,
Triple h Shaw, Michaels, Brett Hart All mixed in the one.
He's he's an amazing generational talent. But if you put
the belt on you know, m JF, Like, then you know,
how are you gonna be able to highlight all these
other careers, all these other superstars that you signed with,
all of the wrestling Ringovando, the CML or you know,
(01:18:38):
professional wrestling. There's a lot of a you know, there's
a lot of you know, there's a lot of holes.
There's a lot of holes that you need to fill
before you let m JF be be a champion again.
And I really think Tony Kahn is you know, setting
that up. I mean I kind of wish he I
kind of hope he is, because you know, at this point,
(01:19:00):
you know, is MJF really wasting his prime in all
of the wrestling? If he did sign a multi million
dollar you know contract to make fifteen million dollars plus
a year working for all of the wrestling, is this
really smart for MJF?
Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:19:16):
But then again, like I really don't see this guy
accepting anything that isn't being the top guy. And if
you see how MJF is on Dynamite Collision Rampage or
whatever or on PLS he really speaks for himself. He
really does one thousand percent, you know. But uh, which
(01:19:40):
you know Tony con He's you know, he has a
lot of money. You know, you've seen them throw money.
Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
Around, you know, and you know that kind of retrospect.
So you know, so is Tony Kahn.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
You know, did he have MJF sign a lucrative contract
just to kind of keep him from signing with w
W Does that make sense?
Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Did he sign it for the good reasons?
Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Will he win the AW World title before the twenty
twenty five year you know, well, then before it ends.
You know what if he did sign with w w WE,
you know, he would be a top guy immediately.
Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
He would run Monday in IRA.
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
The other person that would literally contend with him would
probably be Cody Rhodes and he would be Cody Rhoads.
He would beat Sam Punk, he would beat seth Rawlins.
Him and Roman Reigns would be probably one of the
biggest dream matches in WWEAW in professional wrestling history. That
would be an amazing match to watch, you know, because
(01:20:38):
you have two you know, the moment MJF wouldever leave
AW for WWE would mark the end of AW as
we know it, but you know, kind of having this
guy that I bet you you know w W Scott's
had been scouting him.
Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
Nobody is MJF. Nobody. He's a generational talent. He's a
single talent. He runs on his own.
Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
He literally he could he's he's a match. He's a
light in the dark alley. He literally is the future
professional arson. The way he cuts promos, man, the way
he gets some of the fans like skin like he's
oh my gosh. Like I said, he's like the rock
Stone quote Steve Austin, c HM, Punk anthropal h Sean, Michaels,
(01:21:24):
Brett Hard combined into one. He's literally that impressive and
that's something that the wrestling world needs, and that's something
at ae W really honestly could not afford to lose MJF.
Like I said, if MJF left ae W, it would
cease to exist, you know, which is you know, kind
(01:21:45):
of crazy, but you know it is what it is.
Like I said, he would run the Raw division easily.
He would be the longest reigning WWE World City Way Champion.
And he's a student of the game. You can't, you know,
that's just something about im JF. You can't really hate
on you know. He said he watched an elimination chain
and he said all those other you know, jack holes
that said they did not watch Illumination Chamber, they said, oh,
(01:22:07):
I want to watch ae w all the AW wrestlers like, oh,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Watch w w E. Like it's you know, it's a line.
Speaker 1 (01:22:14):
If it's not a lie, then you're stupid.
Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
You have to be a student.
Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
End of the game.
Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
And he was like crazy and how w w E
turned John John Cena heel and he said it was
a big moment. And then like on AW.
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
Dynamite you had you saw MGF wearing a shirt that
said MJF did nothing wrong. Can I remind you when
Kevin Owens were in a shirt during his UH, during
his little stint, during his little feud with Cody Rhodes
about uh, you know Kevin Owens was right or something
like that, Like it's it. They play off each other,
you know, professional wrestling. They look at something. Can't Kevin Owens.
Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
Kind of be like an MJF.
Speaker 1 (01:22:51):
Yeah, I feel like he can. You know, Kevin Owens definitely,
he does have the mic skills.
Speaker 2 (01:22:55):
He's funny, he.
Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
Does have a you know, he doesn't you know, not
really necessary the look of your standard professional wrestler. But
you know Kevin Owens, you know, he's he's loved a lot.
He's loved a lot one thousand, much like you know MJF. MJF,
he's loved a lot. He's liked Backstagian ae W. He's
(01:23:17):
one of the most likable wrestlers backstage in ae W,
you know, traveling and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:23:21):
He's the more or less just like the cornerstone.
Speaker 1 (01:23:24):
He's the most reliable to kind of you know Tony
Congy be like, Okay, I need this and that and
the other. This show needs to be hot out of
the water. Fans need to want to you know, jump
out of their out of their pants. They want to
literally grab their wallet and pay for the next six
to seven a w pl e's from pay per view.
(01:23:47):
You know, we want that debit card like jumping out
of their wallets, stunning itself. I'm just kidding, no, but overall,
like that's what MJF literally can do for you know,
wherever he is it where you know he loves wrestling,
you know, so I definitely thought that was you know,
pretty pretty awesome. Some of the highest paid wrestlers in
professional wrestling. I will start with w w WE. We
(01:24:08):
have Drew McIntire sitting at about eight million dollars a year,
which is which is pretty that's that's a lot of money.
Seth Rawlins at nine million dollars, Randy Orton literally signing
a you know, he signed a contract last year to
become the highest paid wrestler in professional wrestling history, salary wise,
I believe, but yearly it seems like he's he's making
(01:24:30):
about ten million, Cody Roads ten million as well, Roman
Ragn's at fifteen million, ae W paying John Moxley six
million dollars, Christ Jericho five million dollars in Mercedes moe
A five million dollars, coachersco Accata four point five, Kenny
Omega three million dollars, and MJF rumored to be getting
(01:24:52):
getting paid fifteen a million dollars plus. Wow, that's it's
a lot of keyshe it's a lot of keish. But literally,
if you're Tony Kahn, what choice do you have?
Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
What choice do you have?
Speaker 1 (01:25:11):
You cannot lose them JF.
Speaker 2 (01:25:14):
You can't lose them, JF. You lost Cody Rhoads you
lost cmpunk.
Speaker 1 (01:25:18):
You lost about half a million viewers weekly on Dynamite.
That's it's not why now you you know, it's not
a bad thing. It's not a bad thing. You you know,
you literally had to go from selling out stadiums like
aw Revolution could have been like at a ballpark or
(01:25:39):
something like that, and Crypto dot com arena could have
been the Dynamite before Revolution.
Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
But because you lost all.
Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
Your top talent, Man, now you're sick to the selling
out like little theaters, like I said, which isn't bad,
Which is cool, you know. I you know, don't mind
that whatsoever because I'm a little theater kind of guy.
But you're not drawing in those big numbers anymore. You're
just not.
Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
You lost a lot of your talent based on backstage politics.
Speaker 1 (01:26:09):
Tony, I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
He's the you know, the age where he is. You know,
I used to manage a restaurant.
Speaker 1 (01:26:18):
And when you're the same age as somebody, or you're
younger than somebody, and you're putting you're putting a predicament.
You're putting a spot where you have to delegate, where
you have to tell them what to do. You have
to tell them what they're doing wrong. Although you know, oh,
I've been doing this for years and nobody's.
Speaker 2 (01:26:35):
Telling you what to do.
Speaker 1 (01:26:37):
People have been doing this for you. Sometimes you got
to be the bad guy. And you know a lot
of people they love their boss, they love Tony Kom
backstage they love him. But you know, sometimes you you know,
like Triple H, you're not necessarily going to be the
most liked. You have to be the most respected. So
maybe a little bit had to do with a little
bit of backstage politics. Why Cody Rhads, you know who
(01:26:59):
helped you start ae W. A person that would help
you start a company, you'd be like, damn, I don't
think that person would ever leave that company that he
helped start. Guess what he left. Seampunk never turned into
w W E. Like Seth Throwlin said, every single time
he had a chance to torch it down, he was
hoping to torch it down, you know, with the fans
(01:27:19):
chanting to see him punk, he was hoping, you know
that Vince mcgraham would you know, run w W into
the ground, which he was damn near going to do.
Speaker 2 (01:27:27):
But it you know, it's I don't want to call
it the look of a jaw because I you know,
I do believe in luck.
Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
I do.
Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
Sometimes I do feel like you create your own luck.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
But you know, they lost a lot of top guys,
and you know, sometimes you kind of have to look
in the mirror a little bit. But I feel like
that's you, Like I said, a huge reason why they
signed MJF to such a huge contract. So when year twenty,
he's only twenty eight years old, He's going to be
the future of all of the wrestling, and at this
point they desperately, definitely they.
Speaker 2 (01:27:58):
Need him to continue to be absolutely awesome and if.
Speaker 1 (01:28:01):
Anybody could pick up a pick up a huge contract,
MJF would be definitely the uh definitely in in.
Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
All of the wrestling.
Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
All right, guys, so he do not going towhere. We
got one final segment and I'll let you guys out
of here. Ran super long today, totally apologize. We're gonna
talk about w WE Eve Evolved. It air live on
to B Wednesday night. We're gonna go through some of
the some of the some of the overall content, some
of the characters and the you know, storylines, creature storylines,
who's going to make it out and who's going to
(01:28:29):
be crowned champion probably later on down the line. So
Graby favorite snack, gravy fribite. It's cool. Bett you joined
me in about twenty five seconds, so he do not
go anywhere, and we are back with the g s
(01:29:56):
MC Wrestling Laura podcast that brought to you with the
g s MC Sports Network. I'm a favorite wrestling fan here.
Eric Rodriie is every Monday through your Friday PM severy time.
I love the PM Eastern time, uploading some wrestling contents
and make sure you guys check back on the GSMC
Wrestling Laureate podcast dot com on YouTube. Also make sure
you guys suit into my one weekly live show Monday
(01:30:18):
night after Raw. We talk about Raw. We talk about
a lot of stuff happening within the wrestling world. We
talk about you know, pay per views that happened over
the weekend. We talk about things that are going to
happen over the week We talk about you know, superstar
and active statuses, also injury updates, their contract negotiations, extensions
and new signings. We talk about promotions like WWE to
AW the Game Changeing Wrestling to Death Luck, Professional Wrestling
(01:30:40):
to the NWA.
Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
If it makes major major.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
Major, major, major news in a world of professional wrestling.
We talk about it here on this show. One thousand
and ten percent, So thank you to everybody. Definitely tuning in,
Definitely feel comfortable, one thousand percent participating in the chat.
Definitely would love to hear from from you guys, my
my rest peeps. So, without further ado, let's talk about
our fifth and final segment we have w W E
(01:31:07):
E all.
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
I watched it. It's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:31:10):
It wasn't bad. You know, it's an hour show. It
was an hour show. I definitely liked how they started off,
you know, talking about how this is going to be
the next you know evolution, you know, Shawn Michaels, you know,
being you know, having to play on words a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:31:23):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:31:24):
They showed characters like Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, means that,
you know, it kind of showed the audience to be like, hey, honestly,
you should pay attention because you know, you can see
a lot of these guys, you know, you know, eventually
wind up on the main roster and make an make
an immediate impact like Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes and
(01:31:45):
of course not you know, I had to take Drew
and Cody Bolt to kind of take a step away
and go to you know, independent wrestling circuits to make
a name from themselves, but eventually come back and kick
ass and take names and become w w EEE champions.
I thought it was going to go head to head
with AW but it was only an hour show. You know,
you're able to kind of keep watching, you know, Dynamite,
(01:32:07):
you know, as soon as as soon as it was
over streaming on HBO Max.
Speaker 2 (01:32:11):
So you know, overall, that's a you know, that was
pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
But you know, one of my pet peeves that you know,
I read on Reddit and I read a lot of
you know, w w E fans kind of ran into
this problem was that you know, I you know, when
you sign it to you TV and then you're you know,
you're trying to find w w WE content, it's it
doesn't give you an option to just ride, you know,
right on just click click the link, you know, you
know what I mean, Like if you go to w
(01:32:35):
w WE Netflix, you know, you's all streaming live money,
not row. They you know, they didn't have that for
Rest for Evolve. You know, there was also a lot
of you know, in my opinion, I don't know if
this is it was probably standard. Maybe I'm just you know,
maybe you know, you know, complaining and stuff like that.
I was gonna use the W word. Sorry.
Speaker 4 (01:32:55):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
I feel like there was a lot of ads I too,
you know, Usually, like I'm you know, used to kind
of fast forwarding and be like, oh, you know you
have one or two three ads to do this and that.
Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
You're there obviously, like you know, Hulu and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:33:11):
But this song is like six. It was like six.
Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
I was like, damn six ads.
Speaker 1 (01:33:17):
And I was like, okay, okay, you know, relatively like
the same time, like I said, maybe I'm just complaining.
Maybe I'm just being you know, maybe I just hate advertisements.
But uh, you know, it was it was, it was,
it was alright, it was alright, you know, shut up, Eric,
and you know, I appreciate these fine, amazing wrestling talents.
You hat. Sean Michaels and Ava, the general manager of
(01:33:39):
w w Annix, come out to introduce some of the stars,
talk to them about what exactly they are fighting for.
Peter Rosenberg and uh and Stone I forgot his first name,
damn it, Josh No, I'm thinking about Josh Matthews.
Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
Uh, what was his first name?
Speaker 1 (01:33:57):
No, but Stone Stone obvious Slee. They assistant for AVA
during ww ME NXT.
Speaker 2 (01:34:04):
And I gotta be honest, I dig Rosenberg.
Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
I do.
Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
I loved it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
I loved him, you know. On the mic, I was,
you know, kind of listening to what he had to say,
and I was like, dude, like this guy belongs on
the commentary, Like he's he's better than Corey Graves, He's
better than Wade Barrett, he's better well, Pat McAfee's not
really expected to be like a you know, like one
of those like play by please more or less just
kind of speaks his mind, you know, but you know,
(01:34:29):
obviously not better than Michael Cole, Joe Testatory, and you know,
Peter Rosenberg in terms of you know, commentating, like these
guys are like equal. Peter Rosenberg kicked ass like it
was cool. It was awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
So we had our first match.
Speaker 1 (01:34:43):
We had the former cheerleader Carly Bright teaming up with
Kendall Gray taking on Danny Palmer and Klie Armstrong. This
match was actually a This was pretty bad ass. I
definitely liked on ten percent. How you know, how they
had a casual how they had a casual setup, you know, I,
you know, definitely like that. I didn't like how they
(01:35:04):
tried to make it you know too like in your face.
And something that I definitely loved that WWE did was
under the screen. You had them constantly. I would say
it was probably like every five minutes you had them reminded,
reminding the audience of who exactly are you watching because
you know, not a lot of people are going to
know who Carly Bright is. No one's really gonna know
who Kendall Gray, Danny Palmer, and Kylie Armstrong. So I
(01:35:28):
kind of liked them constantly putting that little like score
bug on the bottom of the page. So I definitely
thought that was a you know, pretty awesome CALLI has
a nice MMA background. You could see it within her performance.
She's been fighting since she was twelve years old. That's
freaking that's amazing, that's awesome. Thousand Danny Palmer, Oh my god,
(01:35:50):
absolutely athletic. You know that cork threw backflip. Although she
did hit her own teammate impressives, she was great. She
was great, one thousand and ten percent. I definitely, you know,
Kendall Gray Kendall Gray, like, I know when she was
in NXC a couple of times she did fight in TNA,
but on this show, she looked like she was like
(01:36:12):
the real deal.
Speaker 2 (01:36:13):
She looked like she.
Speaker 1 (01:36:14):
Could literally be the next like Alexa Bliss. She was
able to, you know, kind of show the fans that, like, yet,
you know, I'm a bad bee and I'm not afraid to.
I'm not afraid to, you know, be outspoken. You know,
once when they won the match you had her and
Carly Bray, Carly Wright.
Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
Was like, oh, you know, all giddy, like, yes we've won.
Speaker 1 (01:36:31):
Oh my god, You're amazing. And then Kendall Gray was like,
I love that heel factor. A kind of Gray I
thought that was it seems like it's literally right up her,
right up her alley, one thousand and percent. She would
be an amazing, absolutely one thousand and ten percent an
amazing heel champ. And you know, Kellie Armstrong too, I
(01:36:53):
definitely love how at the you know, at the end
of the show, she came out showcaseing how w w
E NXC has really showcased and has really depended on
the women's division to kind of anchor the show. So
it was kind of cool to see Armstrong. It was
great to see Kendall Gray. Definitely two women that I
think will be fighting for that evolved Women's Champion to
(01:37:13):
make their way into w w E n XT. But
once again, it just shows how, you know, these girls,
you know, the Women's Division anchor w W E NXC,
and it's gonna anchor you know, the bottom of the
you know, on the bottom like the LFG, also the
NI L, the w W E I D and it's
not going to it's not gonna change whatsoever. So I
definitely thought that was pretty cool that it was badass.
(01:37:33):
I'm excited to see this product. But over all, these women,
all four women, the first ever you know, you know,
tag team women's match to kick off the evolved WWE
product platform, whatever you like to call it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
But overall, just a huge around of applause for all
these women and I would definitely love to see them
in WWE for the future.
Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
Next we get we get a nice little you know,
we get a nice little no swipe rights, you know,
you know, we get to swipe right like little vignant
here and you know, they said, man.
Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
God, they were talking some massive crap. Dude, tossing. You know,
they even said your mother, they said, my mother swiped
right on them.
Speaker 1 (01:38:18):
That is oh.
Speaker 2 (01:38:21):
Ha, Barbarrett. These young men need to leave. I'm just
gonna know. It was funny, it was super cool.
Speaker 1 (01:38:26):
It was awesome. I love these guys. I definitely, you know,
they're they're they're also known Indian Independent Wrestling Circuit. I definitely,
you know, I I like Swape Wide. They're you know,
they're pretty badass. You know, Brad Brad Baylor and Ricky
Smokes seemed like they are the future. I did like
Jackson Drake as well. We'll talk about the main event later,
but you know, swap Right seems like they could. Definitely
(01:38:49):
they're like a better version of how can I say it,
They're like a better version of not a Town down
Under because, you know, no offense to Austin Theory or
Grace Wall. I feel like it's a little I feel
like that's kind of downplaying. I'm just kidding, no, not
trying to be mean, not trying to be mean, but overalls,
Wipe Right seems like they're gonna have a future. Luca Cristofino,
(01:39:10):
you know, part of the family, you know, part of
the D'Angelo family. Uh, you know, he was in the
VIP section, and I like Luca being there. I do
a thousands of tip that you don't really see him
getting a lot of love on NXC. You see him
in tag team ballots with stacks, but you know, he
seems like more of a singles wrestler, and I you know,
I don't know if it's uh, you know, because I
have seen him perform in the ring, you know a
(01:39:33):
couple of times. I personally think it would be it
would be more beneficial for Luca Crustofino to be exclusively
exclusively because obviously he's gonna be you know during the
you know, during the promos and the big nants of
the DiAngelo family, you know, having wine and you know,
talking about the family like you know, it's it's it's
gonna be cool and nice to kind of have him,
you know, sitting at the table next to the dawn.
Speaker 2 (01:39:54):
But to have him wrestle inside the ring. I want
to see Luca totally pop off in evolving. I want
to see him kick ass. Definitely a thousand.
Speaker 1 (01:40:03):
Next, we have Kean new Carver in a smash match
taking on Trill Williams. Trill London is his real name.
Speaker 2 (01:40:10):
True Williams is pretty bad ass, though, I gotta be honest.
Speaker 1 (01:40:12):
I saw Trey Williams again when the you know, they
kind of showed how you know him on Instagram and
stuff like that. I was like, dude, isn't that kind
of post to Trick Williams.
Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
But then they named him, you know, a Trill London.
But I feel like True Williams is a lot better.
Speaker 1 (01:40:27):
Uh, you know, Kean new Carver coming from the streets
and he absolutely a thousand, ten percent showcase.
Speaker 2 (01:40:32):
It was pretty badass. It was kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (01:40:34):
Trill Williams a former NFL cornerback. He was inspired by
Jeff Hardy. You saw a lot of Jeff Hardy from
from Trill London. You know, you kind of saw just
the way he and I know this might sound stupid,
but I feel like only WWE or wrestling fans in
general will understand this. Even the way he was thrown
around the ring, even the way he was getting his
(01:40:56):
ass kicked, it looked good.
Speaker 2 (01:40:58):
Like it looked like it was like Jeff Hardigan is asking,
that's how good this kid is.
Speaker 1 (01:41:03):
So I, you know, even though he lost, I thought
it was pretty bad ass. I want to see him
bounce back next week or this week on Evolve. You know,
I definitely feel like he would be a you know,
he'd be a nice little starter, but Keon Carver a
guy you don't want to mess with, an absolute badass.
I can't wait to see what he can do in
the future. But yeah, you know, when I saw Luca Crusoffino,
(01:41:24):
I gotta be honest, I was like, dude, you know
what he would be amazing he Evolved. You know, I
was thinking maybe Javon Evans, maybe kime Lonnie Jordan. Imagine
fatal Influence coming down to Evolve. And you know, by
all means, I really don't think of his I don't
really think of it as a demotion. I don't because
you're literally you're stuck in these you know, you're stuck
(01:41:44):
in these talent poles from WWE. Whether if you're getting
smashed on NXT or if you're getting smashed on Evolve
every Wednesday night, does it really matter, like what you're
really doing here, Like you know what I mean, Like
right now, SmackDown and Raw. They are in desperate need
of a woman's tag team division, no doubt, no doubt,
whatsoever women's division, it could be better. So right now
(01:42:08):
is the time for a lot of these young talents
to go absolutely take any opportunity they can, any opportunity
one thousand and ten percent, and go out there and
showcase exactly what they're going to do, how exactly they're
going to benefit your company, but most importantly, how exactly
are they going to get the butts inside the seats,
selling tickets, selling merchants, merchandise being just a huge part
(01:42:28):
of the WWE universe. And I feel like, you know,
after what I watched that Evolved, I gotta be honest,
I kind of went in there with like a heavy head.
I went in there with like a heavy.
Speaker 2 (01:42:36):
Heart, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:42:37):
I walked in there and I was you know, I
you know, literally like I sat down on the table
and put on my television.
Speaker 2 (01:42:43):
I was like, do I want to watch Evolve?
Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
Do I really you know what, let's do it downloaded
to be waiting for me to get And you know,
I was expecting like a lot of like botches, a
lot of miscues, a lot of like you know them,
you know them waiting for someone to hit him or
you know, waiting for someone to grab them. But They
were professional as hell.
Speaker 2 (01:43:05):
They literally look.
Speaker 1 (01:43:06):
Like they belonged down n XT and I was like,
holy shit, Holy crap. I was like, dude, like this
is badass, this is awesome, This is like something new raw.
Speaker 4 (01:43:15):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:43:15):
I feel like after the for me, maybe I might
be too little a little bit too excited about this.
But the way, the way it was so successful in
their first you know, EVE almost first attempt on you know,
on cable television or on you know, streaming services or whatever.
You know, maybe they shouldn't go with just like a
plane setup, you know, with like the family members standing
(01:43:38):
on the outside and you know, their their fellow peers
standing on the outside. You know, maybe you should actually
make this into like a you know, you know early
like Ring of Honor early you know, like early TNA
kind of set up, you know, and then maybe you
get some of like you know, you get like a
WWE like TNA like early like you know, imagine seeing
somebody from WWE evolve on TNA and it's at that
(01:44:00):
percent possible, which makes it so cool. I would you know, definitely,
you know, Evolved was you know, definitely pretty awesome, you know,
and the main event, main event was pretty great main
event was amazing. I gotta be honest. There's a lot
of shiny stars. Jackson Drake, Swipe Right, the team of
Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes going up against Cappuccino Jones, Jack Cartwheel,
(01:44:21):
and by all means, I feel like this guy's going
to make it out of the NX scene, probably make
it onto the Royal Roster or SmackDown Sean Legacy. So impressive,
so impressive, absolutely a thousand and ten percent. I really
couldn't you know. This main event was was great and
it did wonders for you know, although that you know
(01:44:43):
they're there, although there has to be a winner, and
although there has to be a loser, these six men
went in there showcase their talent. These men went in
there not really kind of like being like and you
can tell you can see that chemistry. You can see
that chemistry back backstage. That's the power of social media
during this digital era of professional wrestling. They post up
(01:45:05):
backstage on Twitter, slash x where they literally are they're
they're they're they're pumping each other up, they're being like,
they're being friends. But at the same time, competitors, they're
you know, they're happy for each other to go out
there and like, Okay, I'm gonna put this move over
and you're gonna do that, and you're gonna look so
freaking cool.
Speaker 3 (01:45:20):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:45:21):
It's gonna be absolutely hypnotic.
Speaker 1 (01:45:23):
It's gonna be absolutely chaotic, and guess what, the fans
are gonna eat it up like it's you know, like
it's you know, Thanksgiving dinner. And that's exactly what happened
on WWE Evolved. Great episode, Great first episode. These six men,
Cappuccino Jones, Jack Cartweel and Sean Legacy, Jackson Drake and
Swipe Wright, the team of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.
Speaker 2 (01:45:46):
I'm I'm asmerized.
Speaker 1 (01:45:47):
I I want to see more. You know, I can't
wait to see I can't wait to watch. On a Wednesday,
you know, I I literally went to going, you know,
I went from what you know, stumbling upon Evolve, you know,
Wednesday night, you know, kind of like waiting for Dynamite
to start, and you know, I was thinking to myself.
Speaker 2 (01:46:04):
I was like, do you really want to download another
app on your TV?
Speaker 1 (01:46:07):
Eric?
Speaker 2 (01:46:08):
Do you want to download to me to watch these guys?
Speaker 1 (01:46:10):
Because like I said, I was walking in there totally
negative Nancy, negative Nancy over here.
Speaker 5 (01:46:16):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:46:17):
You know, I was going out and I was like, dude,
I want I don't want to see kids just watch
moves and you know, miscues and stuff like that. I
don't want to see that. And I was like, yeah,
why not? Why not? I turned on the TV and
I was blown away. I was blown away. I gotta
be honest. These young you know, these young kids are
(01:46:38):
going to be amazing. And Peter Rosenberg, Peter Rosenberg an
amazing future WWE commentator here, you know him on Evolve.
We gotta be honest. He fritz pretty that well. But overall,
huge round of applause, pain respects to these young amazing
talent that are going to absolutely make a name for
themselves in the wrestling world. And for you know, for me,
(01:47:00):
I literally I can't wait till I can't wait till Wednesday.
You know, these guys, you know, they literally got me hooked.
I didn't think WW we can do it, like I said,
you know, I'm a you know, I watched NXC Monday,
not rob you know, TNA Ring of Honor, uh, you know,
a dynamite. You know, I try my best to kind
of catch you know, some you know, Neutribi Professional Wrestling,
and then I found out about these like literally, these
(01:47:21):
kids are gonna be fighty.
Speaker 2 (01:47:23):
Don't evolve on you know tov on TV?
Speaker 5 (01:47:26):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:47:26):
Is that the free? Is that the free television? Not
for everybody? Is that the free television?
Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:47:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:47:31):
Why do you download it? Check out WWE Evolved Wednesday
