Speaker 2 (01:06):
Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome to an episode of the GSMC
Wrestling Lourier Podcast, brought to you of the GSMC Sports Network.
I'm your favorite wrestling fan here, Eric Rodriguez, Every Monday
night live at eight pm SIP time. I love a
pm Eastern time here to talk about the greatest single
orld professional wrestling. We talk about all the action inside
and outside of the ring. Of course, we talk about

(01:26):
all the curtain calls, all the rumors, all the drama,
contract negotiations from on superstars. We also talk about you know,
conspiracy theories, future storylines. We talk about the past like
w c W, Wilson e c W, also those good
old times back in TNA. Also some Ring of Honor
action as well. Hope you guys had a great weekend,
you know, I know, you know, with this one day

(01:47):
a week, you know, broadcast definitely makes you, guys thousand
and ten percent. And hope you guys. I don't know
if any guys watch the The Hockey Classic. I guess
it was instead of the All Star Game, and it's
actually forty good. You know, it's kind of cool to
see fans actually get into it, you know, like you know, Canada,
United States on Thursday. That was it was a blove death.

(02:08):
It was crazy. It was a nice finish, a nice
little three to finish. You know, I started seeing memes
on sports media outlets about you know, Canadians going crazy
because of everything of course going on with the Tarry
you know, but you know it's not politics and all that.
Here on this show. We talked about wrestling. But yeah, no,
they were pretty happy, which by all means, you know,

(02:29):
all power to them. That's awesome, that's cool. So you know,
this makes people think that next time, next year, moving forward,
for the NHL, we're all going to be you know,
waiting on pins and needle to kind of you know,
get our to get our revenge. I guess you can,
you know say, I'm not a huge hockey guy, you know,
I know, but like I said, I will listen to
a lot of sports podcasts, you know, you know, ESPN,

(02:50):
Fox Sports, a whole bunch of like just different media
outlets about the NHL, and you know, some you know
people got into it, which by all means means that
it was a you know, it's a huge which is
super cool. All right, but this is a wrestling show.
So we're gonna talk about some good old fashioned wrestling.
Our first segment, we have some WWE SmackDown review. We

(03:11):
were just a basically a you know, a bunch of reviews.
Today we have Money Night Raw we're gonna talk about
in our second segment. Third segment, we're going to talk
about TNA, also a Ring of Honor. Ford segment, we're
going to talk about. What are we going to talk about.
We're gonna talk about Michael Cole. Michael Cole was a
recently on the Logan Paul podcast called Impulsive. He said

(03:32):
some pretty juicy stuff. Honestly, you know, I'm a huge
Michael Cole guy. I wish to become a play by
play announcer, you know, for Major League Baseball, NBA, NFL
Wwe would be pretty freaking awesome. You know, when it
comes to announcers in sports, they literally, you know, they
do have the battle and I you know, I know,

(03:53):
like you know, the the athletes are out there with
the ex with the insane crazy conditioning that they do
that they you know, put their bodies through to entertain
you know, the fans. But just imagine like like you're
kind of putting in a perspective, putting it in perspective,
my first WWE event, I went there and there was

(04:13):
no announcing, there was no there was nothing. It was
just you know, the you know, the the n ring announcer,
you know who did the introductions, the superstars inside the
rings that were cutting promos, and then the theme songs
and stuff like that, and they would play the ads.
But it was crazy. It was insane. It was like
a whole different take. Much like my first baseball game.
I went to an Angel's Astros game back in like shoot, damn,

(04:35):
like two thousand and first baseball game fudge, I think
it was like twenty and thirteen, I think it was.
And then I was sitting in this in the bleachers
and I was like, damn, it's like it's crazy because
it's peaceful, but like when something crazy happens, the fans
get absolutely nuts. The NBA. I gotta be honest, whenever
I go to a live basketball game, like you don't

(04:56):
really necessarily need the announcers in that kind of aspect
of it. And that's same with same goes for an
NFL game. I can imagine I've never been to an
NFL game live, but you know, just basically talking about
how important are you know the announcers like on you know,
on Monday Night Football, you know Joe Buck, Troy Aikman.
Sunday Night Football used to be Al Michaels make Tariko,

(05:17):
but now it's Mike Arco And you know Chris Collinsworth,
which is pretty badass. Thursday Night Football, Al Michaels. And
why am I drawing blanks on names? Oh my god,
he's a college football guy. Oh god, I think you
recently lost the dog. That was pretty uh pretty heartbreaking.
Oh my god, I can't believe. I can't think of
his name right now. But on Prime Video, you know

(05:41):
kirkham Street, damn it, Oh my god, kirkurb Street. Oh
my god. I know the moment I like, I stopped
thinking about things, then it all just comes back to me.
But you know, we're gonna talk about Michael colon Impulsive
and then our fifth and final segment, we got some
thunder Rosa. I don't know about any I don't know
about you guys, but I watched a ew Dynamite overalls.

(06:01):
You know you got the hang Man, Adam Page, MJF
getting their feud going. Get a little bit more in
depth in terms of you know, Adam Copeland and the
death writers. And then you get this Chris Statlander taking
on Meghan Baine. Meghan Bane's taken out by I mean
Chris Statlander's taken out by Megan ban A Penelty before
and she was about to get polverized. But the incomes
the saving babyface with the steel chair thunder Rosa, and

(06:24):
the moment she entered the ring, it was absolute chaos.
It was just it was kind of embarrassing. It was
a little humiliating, and you know, I made thund Rosa
look really really stupid. And you know, thinking about maybe
the backstage politics and AW because you know, I've read
an article recently saying that before AW programming Tony Conn
they don't have pre production meetings anymore, so obviously maybe

(06:47):
there was kind of a miscommunication. But we're gonna get
into that in our fifth and final segment. So it's
gonna jump on into our first segment. We got WWE
Monday Night SmackDown, just kidding, Friday Night SmackDown. I got
too excited. Recently watched Raw. It was a it was
a decent episode. I honestly, I kind of wanted it
to be something a little bit more, but you know, hey,

no wrong comments whatsoever. Just all we ask is just
you know, stay stay respectful on them, just keep it fun,
all right. So, without further ado, we got Smacked Down,
Smacked Town First and foremost. Cody Roades walks into the building,
finds out from general manager Nick all This that he

(09:13):
has been pulled from the main event. Obviously if you
smell what I'm cooking, you know, once you know, kind
of reiterating about him and the Rock having the future
beef in you know, future in the show. But you know,
we'll get into that further on. We had Big Jim,
Big Jim picking up a major victory indus Dreamcatyre. To
be honest, I was flabbergasted by this result with the

(09:35):
roll up and you know, of course Dream McIntyre hitting
the attack after and it was just it was this
classic Drew McIntyre, you know, Drew McIntyre. You know, I
kind of like, how wwe is? You know, they're kind
of holding Drew McIntyre as this heel figure, but in
reality everything that he's really you know, in his mind,
that is just you know that he's fighting for, you know,

(09:58):
for some fans, even me and included like you thinking
about it, and you're like, man, you know what, to
be honest, you know what kind of makes sense? Why
are we rooting for Roman Reigns after everything he's done?
And like, has he really like came out and like
formally apologize and stuff like that. No, he didn't. He's
still on his high horse. He still thinks his s
doesn't stink. Of course. You know once when Jimmy and
Jay when they were first started to get together for

(10:19):
a Survivor series, you know, you know, you had that
promo backstage where Jay Usso was like, hey, you know
what I told you you if you would talk to
me like that again, we're through and then you know,
then he left it in. Jimmy us was like, hey, man,
what are you doing in rum Marin was like, you
know what, go get your brother, Go get your brother. Then, like,
you know, he didn't really seem like he was remoso
for anything he's done in the past. But you know

(10:40):
that's I guess that's the tribal chief, that's a that's
Roman Reigns. I guess. Uh, you know, Solo Soko arrives backstage,
Jacob about two honestly looking like he does not love
Solo Socoa anymore. He's not that Solo Socoa that you
used to know. Just kidding. Uh So, so let's go
obviously looking like they you know, he is not in

(11:02):
charge anymore, which is which is great, Which is great
because you know, Solo Socola he's been, you know, he's
been kind of at the helm of this new Young
bloodline storyline for so long. And the moment Jacob fatt
Too entered the WWE, it wasn't like, you know, Solo
so no, it wasn't like Jacob needed Solo. It was
to a point where Jacob Tattoo, you know, was out

(11:23):
shining Solo Socola to the point where I was like,
you know what, I feel like the reason why they're
kind of holding off on this Jacob Tattoo debut is
because you know, Solo is not you know, he he's
not entirely like a main face, main event kind of
guy yet in the perspective the of the wrestling fan
your and the w w EE universe. But you know,

(11:45):
ever since Jacob came in, he's done nothing in the
world of WWE. He's been absolutely phenomenal. Uh, he's been great.
He's been great. So there's not really much to you know,
kind of further, you know, kind of debate about that,
like who should be the tribal chief. Obviously Soloa he
was waiting. He was in way over his head, way
over his head.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
And now you know, you have the Rock come in.
Obviously we're gonna talk about a little later on in
the in the segment here, but you know, you didn't
really have this the final boss come and you know,
talk to Solo Tacola. I didn't see him really, you know,
communicate with the bloodline here and not Big Jim, not
Tom Matonga, you know, not Jacob. So you know, I

(12:28):
know it doesn't really seem like this whole bloodline storyline
in the Rock thing is going to you know, kind
of take kind of take its future, you know, per se.
But you know, I you know, at the end of
the day, I feel like it will all kind of
come to fruition where we will have the Rock taken
on Roman Rains finally, finally what everybody's been waiting for. Honestly,
I am you know, I don't really care if The

(12:51):
Rock takes on Roman Rains and I know a lot
of w W fans are like, dude, what are you
talking about? Are you crazy? Right now? You know, you
have the you know, the Annoyee family, you know, the Battus,
the usos, and it's for me, you know, it's not
really a big deal to me.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
You know.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
So I feel like maybe WWE is kind of on
my wavelength. Theavored I was like, you know what, Roman
versus Rock, we can probably string this along. We can
make it happen. You know, they didn't force anything heading
into WrestleMania forty one Las Vegas, which I was kind
of happy about. I was. I was super happy that
the Rock didn't just come out and start, you know,
throwing people's elbows at Solo Sakova, Tama Tongue, Jacob Battou

(13:29):
and challenge Roman rains for Ula Falla at WrestleMania. Obviously,
you know, still up in the air, Still up in
the air. There's a lot there's like four or five
weeks more, No, there's more than that. I think seven
seven weeks until WrestleMania. If that's the way it wants
to go. It's all gonna depend on what Cody Roads
is going to say. But We'll talk about that later
in the second. So next we have Selina Vegas. Selena Vega,

(13:51):
we have a nice little promo video talking about a
fresh absolute, fresh start, which is something that is needed,
which is something that is great because Heelena Vega would
be an absolute I feel like she'd be a way
better United States Women's Champion than Chelsea Green. Not hitting
on Chelsea Green whatsoever. I just love the animosity. I
love the intensity. I love the fact that you know,

(14:13):
Selena Vega whenever she comes inside the ring, you know,
you look at the size, you know, like, man, I'm
not a believer. You know, you look at some of
the ways, you know, some of the style that she
wrestles inside the ring, you're kind of like, you know what,
you know, it could be a little bit better. But
the thing that people admire the most about Selena Vega
is her like, you know, I'm not gonna take crap
from anybody kind of attitude. You know, when she took

(14:34):
on Raya Ripley, I think it was in Puerto Rico,
you know, which was actually pretty damn emotional. You know,
she was, you know, filled with tears. She was upset
because she felt like she let her country down. But
in reality, you know, her country was absolutely proud of her.
Who could ever kind of step up to mommy like
that have that match inside the ring at that and
at that time, the Judgment Day was at its four
rides with Damian Priest and Raya Ripley as the leaders,

(14:58):
So nobody was a you know, nobody was gonna be
able to you know, step it, step in front of
that freight train and take the bullet. Zelena Vegol was
a woman, no woman enough to kind of walk in
there and just be like, you know, I don't give
a hell, I don't give a damn who you are.
I'm gonna go in there and try to get mine.
I'm gonna try to win the championship. I'm gonna prove
that I am worthy. I'm gonna do my best in
front of the people that I absolutely love a door Obviously,

(15:22):
she represents a lot of her country, you know, inside
her you know, inside her persona in w w EE.
So I'm happy to see Selina Vega you know, get
back into it, you know, totally hit it straight on,
you know. Congratulations. I hope she does good. Our Truth
and the LA Night Tag Team against Carmelo Hayes and
the Miz Melodoe. Miz picks up the victory, which was

(15:43):
pretty shocking to me, but obviously comes with the expense
of the WWEE United States, the men's champion, Shinsk and Knakamorra,
who has been, you know, ever since winning the championship.
I love the fact that, you know, the way he
debuted back in WWE, he kind of like a new
japan professional wrestling, you know, like an across seas style

(16:05):
wrestling back into his like arsenal, and ever since then,
you know, he's been you know, cutting you know, not
really I can't even say cutting promos. I can't even
say that with a straight face. I feel like at
this time, and I'm not trying to be, you know,
a cynic. I'm not trying to be like a jerk
or anything like that. And I'm not trying to hate
on Hinsky Nakamura. But maybe we've seen Hinsky Nakamoura in

(16:27):
this WWE mainStreet poppy bubblegum spotlight to the point where
it's like, you know what, maybe his character can't be revived,
you know what I mean, Like the championship is on
Shin Shinsky Nakamora, although you know, he's an impressive individual,
but what people want out of the ww United States

(16:48):
Championship or you know, scratch that, what people want from
championship holders in WWE is a little flair and you're
not really going to get that from Shinsky Nakamora, you know.
And I think about it, and I'm like, you know what.
At the same time, the NXC World Champion Oba fe mean,
he you know, he's from Nigeria obviously internationally, and he

(17:11):
has flair. He has flair, and it's you know, you
also have the NXC Women's Champion Julia obviously from stardom,
a Japanese wrestler as well, like Shinsky and Nakamora, and
you know, I know there's language barriers there, and you know,
by all means that should never absolutely never ever, ever
ever ever be like like a building block, or should

(17:33):
never ever kind of be like a point of being like, Okay,
we can't put a title on this person because they
don't speak the language. That should definitely never be the case.
But as of right now, I'm just like, you know,
it's nothing against their talent, Like I said, nothing against them,
you know, nothing against their nationality, nothing against the language
that they speak. I feel like, honestly, Julia is doing

(17:54):
it a lot better than Shinsky and Nakamoa is at
this point, and it's gonna be interesting to see how
Stephanie even care handles it as the NXT Women's North
American Champion. I you know, I, like I said, I
loved when Chinsky Knackamora came back. But maybe I'm just
a little bit too blinded by the you know, the
pop that The La Night brings, maybe the you know

(18:17):
the pop that carmel O Hayes brings, the pop that
you know. I love Andrade too. I love Andrade. I
love San frans Esco Bar. There's a lot of men
that I'm like, dude, these guys can challenge for United
States Championship right off the back. Even the miss you know,
the miss getting you know, he's getting a little up there,
he's getting a little old. But you know the way
he made that w W Intercontinital Championship prestigious. You know

(18:39):
once when you had rock Lesnar kind of be the
Universal Champion, omen and Iran basically never freaking show up.
You know the way he made the Intercontinental Championship kind
of seemed like it was the main car championship. It was.
It was admirable, and you know, I I would love
to see them is back into that situation intellect title contention.
But you know, the WWE Men's United States Championship is

(19:00):
still up in he is still up in the air, obviously,
and I can't wait to see how it, you know,
kind of comes out.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Well.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Okay, so we have Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany Shritton talks about
being the top girl in w WE. You know, she's
she's showing guts. She's definitely showing guts. Ni Jacks, you know,
obviously getting the interruption that we have Stratton take on
Candice Lay and you know, the match was a little
the match was a little. Charlotte Flair sat ringside and
you know then you saw you know, Tippy Stritton after

(19:27):
the match starting to get pounded. Trist Stratus tries to
you know, tries to make the same but you know,
then they both get poverized by Naya Jacks. Charlotte Flair
takes the ring and of course points to the WrestleMania
signs standing over a breathless standing over an incapacitated Tiffany Stratton,
so I thought that was pretty crazy. We had a

(19:49):
backstage trumbo between Damian Prices and Cody Roads, which I
absolutely loved. I thought that was pretty badass. I definitely
love the fact that braun Strowman basically saying that, hey, honestly,
me and you are out here, we're handling business, and
Damian Priest is like, you know what, but I beat you.
You know, I was the ultimate opportunistic person last SmackDown,
obviously taking advantage of Jacob Fattu after Solo Cikoe got

(20:09):
involved in that main event, that trible threat match that
determined that last spot in the men's elimination Chamber match
heading into Sunday Saturday. Sorry, excuse me. Then we had
Naomi take on Live Morgan. You know, there was a
sneak attack, no match, no match whatsoever. You know, Bianca Beart,
Bianca bel Air was laid out, Naomi was officially laid out,

(20:30):
and you know, as you saw Monday Night Raw, but
obviously talking about Smack Dunn. He never knew that they
were going to drop the titles, but maybe you did,
maybe you did, you know. I love Live Morgan. I
love Orca Rodriguez. Honestly, after what happened tonight on Monday Night, Raw,
I kind of figured that, you know, now it kind
of seems like Live Morgan doesn't have to be immersed

(20:52):
into that title picture anymore. But you know, maybe she
might win the elimination Chamber. Maybe she's had one hell
of a year so far, you know, talking about how
she has this brand new outfit. She wants a special
opponent for at elimination Chamber. I think it was or
it was next week on SmackDown. I'm not too sure,
but you know, I want to hear her defend her
title elimination Chamber. Next, we have The Rock coming out

(21:15):
talking about how New Orleans will be the host of
WrestleMania twenty of WrestleMania forty two.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Come.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
You know, he came out as a baby face. He
came out as a babyface. Rocky Chance reigned all over
the arena. You know, you know, you know, dropping the
censor language. It was kind of crazy, the Rock straight Honestly,
I gotta be honest, The Rock was kind of looking
straight bipolar out there. He was a heel. He was

(21:44):
a baby face. He was a heel. He was a
baby face. He was a heel his babyface. I really couldn't.
I couldn't put my mark on it. I really, honestly,
I feel like he feel like he did walk out there,
didn't really know what to you know, really, I feel
like he was winging it. And I know it could
be a thousand and ten percent wrong, but I felt
like he was winging at I feel like he was
out there trying to gauge what was happening. And even

(22:06):
like you look at Cody Roosen's expression after everything that
you know is being said, and he looks like he
was like, you know, looks like he's about to cry.
It looks like he's about to cry. The rocket is
mentioning my family and how my family could be better.
Because if you're talking to a workingman here in America,
will you know, scratch that all over the world, you know,
in any kind of culture, in any kind of country,
if you talk to a person about giving them a

(22:28):
certain spot in your you know, in your business, whether
it's wrestling, whether it's professional or you know, fast food,
whatever restaurant, you know, if you tell them, hey, I'm
gonna take care of you. I'm gonna make sure you're
well paying, I'm gonna make sure your kids and your
family you are going to be are going to be safe,
They're going to be wealthy, They're gonna have the best healthcare.

(22:48):
They're gonna live in the best spots. You know, They're
gonna the safest neighborhoods, the most prestigious schools. You know.
For me, if some guy ever came up to me
and asked me that hands down, I would look at
the fans, I would look at basically anything from like
an outside perspective, and I'd be like, you know what,
I'm sorry. Like when you when you have kids and

(23:11):
when you start a family, you kind of look at
yourself in the mirror, You're like, you know what, this
life isn't about me anymore. The best thing about me
is these kids, my wife, and how I can make
their lives easier. Just a gave something happens, you know
what I mean, Because you know, never Tomorrow's never promised.
So Cody Roads is stuck with a hardcore decision. If
I was stuck in Cody Rhods is you know, you

(23:32):
know obviously the rock telling that he wants he wants
Cody's soul, he wants them to become super duper close.
He you know, he doesn't want to be a champion.
He does not want to be a champion. He thinks
Cody Roads is a great champion. Mama Roads, Mama Rock,
you know talking, you know, bs scene, having drinks, having
a good ass time. I want you to be my champion.

(23:55):
I want you to be my champion. And Cody's like, well,
you know what, I'm there champion, And then The Rock
straight out told him. He was like, you know what,
you stood up to me. He slapped me in the
face when me and Roman wanted to take over wrestle
any of the main events what everybody wanted to see.
I'm giving you until the elimination chamber in Toronto and
give me your decision there. You know, I want your soul.

(24:19):
Will Cody turn heel? Is the Rock taking his soul
necessarily gonna make Cody turn heel? You know, obviously that's
the question. Not too sure. But it's like, you know,
Cody Roads has literally faced everybody you know in terms
of you know, heel versus baby face. He's been a
babyface for three long years, a superstar like that. You know,

(24:42):
you look at your McIntire, who was a baby face
for about two years, two and a half years, I think,
you know, then he came back. You know now he's
a heel now, and you know, a lot of back
and forth. That's what wrestling is all about. So it
would surprise me if Cody Roads turns a you know,
turns heel you know here, But yeah, pretty deadly. You know,
they lose their chance at the WWE Tag Team Championships

(25:03):
against they thanks to the street profits den the Motor
City machine Guns get involved in the athletic abilities of
these competitors, every single one of them, from Johnny Gargando
to Moscow, Champa. Pretty deadly, you know, Montese Ford, everybody,
absolutely all four of these tag teams, even though it's Garza.
They would be amazing in a ladder match for those

(25:24):
tag team titles or better elimination chamber tag team match
for those championships. Would be pretty bad ass. Would be
pretty bad ass. Kevin Owens Sox scrap in a promo.
Will will Cody Road sell out? Obviously? Let me know
in the chat if you guys think so. Jacob Fat
Two Solo Sakoba take on Braun Stroman and Damian Priest.

(25:46):
Jacob once again he loses. You know, Jacob seems like,
you know, when he comes out at the beginning of
the match, he's like, you know what hit my music?
Sol so Coba's kind of like, you know, will he
fall in line? Will he actually support Jacob Fatou? Who knows?
We'll find out it willn't you know. I don't know
if they're gearing up a Jacob Fatoo versus Losakoa match

(26:08):
at Mania forty one, but you know, should be interesting,
all right, guys say, hey, don't go anywhere. We're gonna
talk about our WWE Monday Night ra recap. So grab
your favorite snack, grab your favorite ice called beverage, and

(31:01):

to say anything you guys believe. There are Nah, there
are no such thing as a bad take, guys. No
such a thing as a bad take, absolutely not. So yeah,
feel comfortable to say whatever you guys want all right,
let's talk about some Monday Night Raw kind of went
deep on my WWE SmackDown preview. I think that was

(31:23):
like plus like twenty twenty minutes. I apologize for that,
but you know, it's pretty pretty heavy stuff. So Monday
Night Raw, Monday Night Raw, we started off. We had
Logan Paul kicking off Raw, and of course he starts
talking trash to his not really hometown people because he's
from Cleveland, but obviously we are in the queen City
of Cincinnati, Ohio. Not a lot of people took, you know,

(31:46):
took fancy of what Logan Paul really had to say about,
you know, landing his jet, looking out the window, seeing
a lot of sorry ass people. I want to turn
my playing around. I want to turn my playing around.
It was like, dude, really really bro so. Then he
had a confrontation with seeing fucking the Rings SA Funk
basically telling Logan Paul, hey, honestly, kid, keep your mouth shut.
I am Satan. I am Satan, and you are nobody

(32:10):
and you are absolutely nobody. And Logan Paul obviously looking
like he took a took some hardcore of fence that
he slaps the taste out of seeing Punk's mouth, and
I gotta be honest, I was kind of a little
upset that Seth Rollins didn't join the Fray, especially after
you know the history between Rowlins and Seampunk and you know,
and Logan Paul as well, you know, some bad blood there.

(32:31):
Next we have a triple threat match. We had Lude
Big Kaiser taking on pensa El set On me Ido
and Pete Dune. This was a non title triple threat match,
which is basically, you know, kind of rare in the
world of professional wrestling. You know, I hated that Ludwig
Kaiser kept grabbing the mask of Penza because it's basically
all it's internationally well known around like Luca Underground, around

(32:53):
the c MLL, basically around the world professional wrestling that
penzas has. He's never been on mask. He's a man
of mystery all over you know, the world.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Uh he was.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Kaiser, you know, so disrespectful, so disrespectful. But to be honest,
that's his gig. That's exactly what he was trying to do.
So if his hope was getting to rise out of
the wrestling fans, he got it. It's kidding, no, But
in all seriousness, thousands of type of cent you know, uh,
Ludavig Kaiser picks up the victory. But did wwe really

(33:25):
have to do a triple threat match for Penza to
receive his first loss in w W Maybe I'm just
kidding no, but I feel like now this kind of
not puts Penca like you know, not, you know, keeps
them grounded because he was undefeated in their WW is like,
oh crap, you know, we don't want people, we don't

(33:46):
want fans to you know, kind of see this guy
as like someone who's absolutely unbeatable because when he loses,
and I don't think Penca is really I don't think
he's ready for an Intercontinental championship shot. I don't think
he's ready just yet, definitely not World w H Championship ready.
So he has a couple of months ahead of him,
a couple of long, hard months ahead of him until

(34:07):
he gets a title or we can you know, before
he gets a title shot. So you know, he's gonna
have to lose some matches. So this was I feel
like this was w w ee's way of kind of implementing,
you know the fact that you know what Penza, he's
been undefeated in w w E and he's been basically
running a bus saw all over the rock locker room.
But you know he's he bleeds, he bleeds, so he's

(34:28):
gonna be able to you know, he's gonna be able
to lose. So you know, I definitely thought this was
a huge match. This was a big win for lude
big Kaiser, you know, definitely, you know, a young rising
star and he's gonna it's gonna be great. It's gonna
be great. Then we had ray Ripley speaking to Jackie
Redman about here title defense at WU SKY next week

(34:48):
on on Monday Night Raw in Buffalo, New York. You know,
I guess still the last time they faced each other
was five years ago, which is crazy, and I think
Eo Skuy picked up the victory. You know, I do
you feel that Raya Ripley, this match between Raya and
EO's guy will ultimately I feel like it's going to
be interfered with. And when I say it's going to

(35:09):
be interfered with is because I feel like EO is
main event worthy one thousand and ten percent the person
who wins the elimination chamber. You know, she's going to
I feel like that's the reason why they had the
match after Elimination Chamber, because it's going to be somebody
who wants to take the title off of Raya herself.

(35:30):
But since Live Morgan and Racal Rodriguez, you know, the
huge spoiler alert, you know, dethrowing Bianca Belaer and Naomi
for those World Women's Tag Team titles, I thought it
was going to be Live you know, and this she
was going to be in the match. Maybe that might,
you know, makes some sense, but I'm not too sure.
But I do have the confidence. I do. I'm confident
to believe that we're going to get a triple threat match.

(35:52):
I want to see, you know, Live Morgan get involved
and you know, basically beat the hell out of Yoskuy
and be like, you know what, no one's gonna take
the title off Rare Rip League except for except for me.
And that's gonna be, you know, kind of a nice
way to implement a triple threat match at WrestleMania. And
you know, I feel like ray Ripley is gonna come
out to victor. There's been speculation staying that one of

(36:15):
these girls will fall out of the Elimination Chamber match
and either Becky Lynch or Jade Cargo will get a
shot and win the elimination chamber. But still that's, you know,
highly you know, still up in the air. Not too
sure how that's going to, you know, work out, especially
after everything that happened, you know, tonight. But I know,
you know, kind of crazy the New Day take on

(36:36):
the l WO and you know, the New Day full
blown heels, and I gotta be honest, I love absolutely
every second of it. The more and more and more
they win, I feel like they're gonna, you know, they're
going to string up a couple of wins and eventually
be in title contention. And if you think about the
world the rural tag team division on Monday Night Raw,
you know, it's not really that prestigious. It's not really

(36:58):
that much of a not really that much of a pop.
You know, you have the war Raiders, you have the
New Day, you have the LWO, you have American maid
I feel like American Maids probably the next ones in line.
But you know, with the Judgment Day especially kind of
falling out, I don't believe anybody is suitable to hold

(37:18):
these tag team titles more than the New Day. I
would love to see this new new day, you know,
become champions one day, because you know, to piss everybody off,
absolutely piss everybody off. Every promo they cut, you know,
every you know, every you know, since they dissed Big
E on Monday Night Raw, it's uh, you know, I
feel like it's I feel like it'd be great. I
feel like it'd be great for ww WE. They kind

(37:40):
of just have a different taste of the tag team titles.
Like I know, you had Finn Balory and Jay McDonough
obviously the Judgment Day. You know, they were heels, but
you know they weren't really vocal. They weren't really you know,
they they defended their titles shoot like two or three times,
and it was it was terrible, was it? The bacle
was awful, Absolutely awful. So if you have this new

(38:00):
come in Savir Woods, Covid Kingston willing to do absolutely
anything to win these titles and to defend them and
to retain them, I would absolutely love to see them
have the titles, you know, instead of the war Raiders.
I do love myself some war Raiders or gotta be honest,
but they're just too big, they're too bad. They're too dominant.
They're too like unpredictably winners, like you know what I mean, Like,

(38:24):
I you know, do you ever expect the war Raiders
to lose in a fair fight against basically anybody? No,
you don't, because you know, Eric and I've are these
two behemoths of you know of men in the tag
team division. So I feel like to kind of add
a little bit of you know, sub of a pizazz
to the tag team division of Money and I Row,

(38:44):
I feel like you gotta put the titles on Woods
and you know, Covid Kingston E'd be pretty bad ass.
Finn Baaler backstage, obviously talking craft to Dominic Mysterio and
blaming him for the Judgment Day failures. Dominic Masterio once
believes and will always that they need to add a
new member. I feel like they will. I feel like
ultimately maybe they will kick Finn out, But as of

(39:10):
right now, I don't really know a suitable choice besides
maybe Bronson Reed. Bronson Reed would probably be the best
for like a new Judgment Day affiliate. And then maybe
some way, somehow, you know, along the way, you have
him help Finn Balor win a match, win the Intercontinental
Championship and then all of a sudden, Finn Balad' is like,

(39:31):
you know what, maybe you were right, Tom, Maybe you
were right. Maybe you know, we need to add this guy.
And then you know, bam, matchmate in Heaven. You know,
they kind of fill in that little spot there. But
you know, honestly, stilopony Air stillipony Air. Obviously you have
Finn Balor blaming Live and Raquel Rodriguez for the attack
on Jade, and then you know, Live was kind of like,

(39:51):
you know, even if we did or we didn't, we
didn't really care, which makes people to believe that they
probably did not do it, which is you know, pretty crazy,
pretty damn crazy. We had in her Continental Championship match.
The women's in the Conninittle Championship match, Libra Route Carrier
convincingly defeated Dakota Kai in a in a decent match.
I personally thought Ivy and I was gonna get involved

(40:12):
in the fray in the middle of the match, but
at the end of the match, it's you know, that
kind of makes up for it, I guess. But you know,
something had to be done, you know, something about these
women's titles. The man the mid card titles. You know,
they don't really have any you know, any teeth to it,
don't really have much more of a storyline. So when
Ivy and Ile lost that number one contender ship match

(40:33):
to Dakota Kai last week com on in Ira, I
was like, oh my god, this is awful. It's terrible,
terrible booking. Not a WWE fan anymore, this is over.
I'm just kidding know, But ultimately it was it was,
it was alright, it was alright. You know, Ivy Nile
needs to win the championship. I gotta be honest, I

(40:53):
you know, we need to see them win. We need
to see her win because she's very gifted inside the ring,
and because she can absolutely hold that title with prestige.
She could be that face and everybody hates the pit bull,
you know, with her hairstyle, with her you know, bootleg,
Ronda rousing, skinny.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
No.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
But I mean now, she's pretty gifted, she's pretty awesome.
I you know, definitely think that she'd be absolutely in
a formidable w W Women's in her championship. Hopefully she
never sees this and comes over to my house to
kick my ass, you know, God, just me Moving on.
We had bron Breaker taking out Dominic Masterio. The match
ends in a no decision. Judgment Day obviously gets involved

(41:33):
the butt bron Breaker. It's absolutely pissed off. Backstage, you
see the Rarer, the war Raiders attack American Maid, obviously
stating that their feet is not over yet. So the
American Maid, you know, Brutus and Apollo, no, damn it whatever,
the Creed Brothers are going to get another shot. Cody

(41:54):
Rhodes and you know, is confronted in the side the
in the middle of the ring by set Rawlins talking
about Seth Rowlins basically told Cody Rhodes, I don't want
to hate you, bro, I don't want to hate you,
you know. And then Cody Roads was like, you know what,
maybe your soul has been compromised from all the hate.
You were my shield Wrestlemandi. You were this, you were
the MVP of WrestleMania Night one and Night two. And

(42:17):
Seth Rowlins obviously telling Cody Rhodes like, look, man, I
sold I sold my soul once. Obviously this you know,
obviously he was alluding to when he took the offer
from Triple H to be a big bright star of
the Authority and he was. He very much was. He
had his he had his fifteen minutes of fame, burned

(42:40):
a a crap ton of bridges along the way, and
after all of it, he was screwed over. He was
screwed over, you know in that You know once when
Finn Baller got injured and he had to relinquish the
w W Universal Championship. You had that match. I think
it was a fatal five way I think it was.

(43:01):
And then triple H comes out. Seth Rowllins is super
happy because he's here to protect me. He's here. You know,
I'm going to be the champion. I'm gonna be a champion,
and all of a sudden he pet agrees on ban
Kevin able to get someone two three seth Rawlins, you
know with the with the knife stabbed in his back.
But then again he ultimately did deserve it, so you
know he's probably warning. Coulter was like, you know what,

(43:22):
at the end of the rainbow, you're not going to
see a pot of gold. You might hold a piece
of gold along the way, but at the end of it,
you're gonna end up with no friends. You're gonna end
up with you know, with all by yourself stuck with
the mistakes you've made in the past that you regret,
and he was kind of saying that, you know, Seth
Rollins was kind of basically, you know, not apologizing for

(43:42):
everything that he's done in the past, like with the
whole you know, Roman Reigns honestly with Dean Ambrose as well,
Like I feel like he was kind of alluding to
a little bit of Dean, you know, and all the
shield So, you know, I thought that was a good
prom I definitely love the way that Seth Rawlins did that,
you know, heading into elimination chain, it would be absolutely
crazy to find out if he wins. I thought that,

(44:06):
you know, everything that's been going down around the I
was gonna say the league, like I'm talking about the NFL,
everything that's going around the locker room in WWE is
that we have no idea who's going to win that
elimination chamber match. I can't even put my finger on it.
You know. I looked up us you know, an online site.

(44:27):
It's called SmackDown Hotel. I was looking up you know,
main events in WrestleMania. You know, ever since they started
implementing two nights, and you know, all of a sudden,
I just see John Cena on there, like Johnson. I
was like, Wow, that's crazy. John seen a TVD and
I was like, so John Cena gonna win an eliminitus
chamber match? Maybe maybe not? Is j Ussel versus Gunther

(44:50):
going to be a Night too main event or a
night one. It's because if seeing Punk wins, I would
love to see and take on Cody Rhodes. I feel
like that would be a nice little you know, heel
first babyface. If during the match you see Cody go rogue,
get dirty and then you know, use you know, brass

(45:11):
knuts or something like that to pick up the victory.
Like that would be absolutely astronomical. But it's still I
don't know. Like I said, it's still up in the air.
We don't know. And at the end of the match
or at the end of the night, we had the
women's World tag team titles of you know, they change hands.
I'm kind of happy about it. I was, you know,
I'm kind of getting over this Naomi and you know,

(45:33):
Bianca bel Air. I feel like all three of those girls,
bel Air, Cargo and Naomi needs to step into the
singles division. One ten percent I feel like that is
you know, I feel like that's great. They both definitely
need that, well, all three of them definitely need to
win a singles championship. Dirty Dom got involved first time,

(45:54):
first time, first time ever. We have a three time
women's World Tag Team champions Live Morgan and Racael Rodriguez.
Huge round of applause, huge round of applause. Naomi wants pinned.
By the way Naomi wants pinned. I'm just kidding, not
that that means anything. Of course, not doesn't mean anything,
but I don't know. Maybe week link week link the glow.

(46:16):
I'm just getting no moving on all right. Our next segment, guys,
we got tena impact. We're gonna talk about some ring
of honor when we come back. So grab your favorite snack,
grab your favoritehigh school beverage. You join me here at
about twenty five seconds. So, hey, do not go absolutely anywhere.

Now we talked about Monday Night Raw, and without further ado,
we're gonna jump into the ring of TNA Impact and
the world of Ring of Honor. So let's go ahead
and do it. I'm gonna go ahead and bring up
some notes right quick. Let's go and start off with

(48:22):
some TNA impact. So of course, you know we had TNA.
Joe Henry came out with an Encore Championship the concert,
which is great. I gotta be honest. I do love
myself some Joe Hendry say his name, man, he pears.
I believe Joe Hendre. If you didn't clap your hands,

(48:44):
you know you're a disgrace to the world. I'm just
gonna know. Moving on, Joe Hendry was interrupted by the
Colognes making their you know, TNA debut. Eddie and Orlando
Colonna are about to deliver it too on one assault
to Joe Hendry when lights go out and it's a lie. Obviously.
If you don't know who Elijah is, it's Elias. Oh

(49:04):
my god? What was his main thing in w w E?
Uh we want Elias? No God? What was it? WWE
stands for? Oh? Walk with Elias? What does w WE
stand for? Walk with Elias? And you know it's a babyface.
I gotta be honest. Elias was pretty good. Pretty damn

(49:25):
good I got, you know, definitely a love seeing him WWE,
obviously as a baby face, but you know as a heel.
You know, it's a little stale. I think he was
with the with the running crew of you know, when
Dolph Ziggler and uh, you know, Drew McIntyre were a
raw TA teen champions. I think he was like, you know,
part of the little you know band of you know, Holigans.
But you know, it's kind of cool to see Elijah

(49:46):
come back. You know, I definitely knew that he was
going to make it back to WWE. And when I
say that is like when he signed to A TENA
and be like, hey, you know what, we have a
partnership with w w E NXC. You know, you have
a shot if you want it. You know, because Elias,
you know, on his way out of w WE, he
had his uh, he had his twin brother, Ezekiel. The

(50:07):
storyline it was, it was, it was biable. It was
very he was a likable you know, Ezekiel was a
likable you know subject, he was a likable you know
face at the time. You know, he just basically went
clean caerd.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
It was.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
It was kind of funny, No but he was actually
very elusive. He was very elusive, very electrifying. I love Ezekiel.
I would, you know, definitely would love to see him
come back to you know, WWE, or seeing him make
a TEENA debut instead of this guy Elijah. What's it
the E though, I gotta be honest, that's you know,
kind of crazy. Director of Authority Santina Morella keeps the

(50:47):
surprise going. Tonight's main event is going to be Joe
Hendri and Elijah taking on the you know, the colognees.
Henri and Elijah joined forces for an epic concert, which
is a you know, look at the you know, look
at the damn it, look at the highlights. It's actually
a you know, pretty damn cool so. GM Miller interviews

(51:07):
Leon Slater, who was confident as he prepares for a
battle with JDC. You know, I I love Leon Slater.
I really honestly hope that he is going to be
a future you know, anx NXT. He's going to be
a future X division champion. He definitely has all the
he has all the know how, he has all to
know how. I wouldn't, honestly wouldn't I feel like he

(51:29):
deserves it. More than Moose, you know, of the system,
you know, but it was kind of cool to see
Moose on NXT on Tuesday, you know, representing the system
in JDC. But you know, I want the exhivision to
be like, you know, maybe I'm maybe I'm too attached
to this idea that X Division superstars are kind of
like I kind of compared them like cruiserweights on steroids

(51:50):
or something like that. Like when you think of X Division,
you think of you know, back back then with Christopher Daniels,
you know, with you know, AJ styles and like jay Lee,
and like now it's not really that way anymore, and
I feel like it, you know, kind of cripples a
lot of these, you know, superstars who could definitely be
in that picture. Next, we have the Rascals battle nxts

(52:12):
Tyson and Tyreek. I was happy to see the Rascals win.
You know, I gotta be honest with Ace Austin, you know,
wes Lee. I you know, I'm not digging the hair dude.
I'm not digging the hair doo. I'm not digging the
war war Drobe Change. I feel like he would have
made more of an impact inside of the NX and
Tiena if you just would have stayed the same. But

(52:32):
then again, just come off a little bit more cocky
than he actually, you know, than he actually is. But
the fact that I feel like, not that he's trying
too hard. I'm not gonna say that about Wesley, you know,
not that he's trying to are to be this total heel,
to be this total rsh. But I don't know, I
just you know, I wanted to see him eventually kind
of get back into that NXT North American you know,

(52:55):
division as a as a baby face. Maybe, you know,
maybe I'm just so upset about, you know, how he
turned his back on you know, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz.
Maybe I'm just still upset with that. But you know,
texton and Tyree get the and wes Lee get the
l It's cool to see my boy Ace Austin and
the rascals get into the win Colin, which is pretty
pretty bayad ay ash. All right, So next to next

(53:23):
we have ye Lee ying Lee, ye Lee ying Lee,
dang Ley ying Lee defeat Rosemary and Rosemary once again,
you know, getting back into that into that lost calum.
I kind of thought Rosemary was like on her way
up to like like into a bigger, better, like brighter future,

(53:46):
but it seems like she kind of fall off a
little She kind of fell off a little bit on
TENA obviously, you know, she could definitely bounce back, you know,
she kind of has that. It feels like a lot
of her career has been kind of like up and down,
up and down. One minute, she strikes like lightning. Some
minutes she sinks like quicksand not too sure. But you know,
Rosemary obviously after the match getting her due diligence, spraying

(54:08):
missed into the eyes of the lee. So you know,
she's blinded with green miss what some of these green
miss nowadays, it's a you know, kind of crazy, kind
of crazy, all right. So with a Northern Armory obviously,
their leader Eric Young, after defeating Josh Alexander in his
farewell match last week, Young claims that Judas Icarus and
Travis Williams were pawns under Josh Alexander's leadership, but under

(54:32):
his they will be champions. Young says that that he
is the foundation, the lifeblood, and the gate keeper of TENA. Honestly,
they can't really, you know, can't really debate that Young
is bold enough to ask Steve Macklin to join the
ranks of the Northern Armory, but he is nowhere to
be found. So we probably found you know, a new
uh little a feud coming along here. So so yeah,

(54:54):
Mustafa Ali interrupts an aa AA meeting to deliver a
message to Mike Santana. Uh not really sure what comes
out of that one. But the systems JDC collides with
with Leon Slater getting the you know, getting the dub
JDC obviously, you know, with the flying forearms. Slater soars
over the corner turnbuckles, crashing into JDC on the floor.

(55:17):
JDC slams him on the chair to gain control and
continues the assault with the Kendall Sick Slater puts him
through a table with a swan time four point fifty
from the top rope to the outside. Slater goes for
the for the pen, but the rest of the system
get involved, putting Slater through the table, JDC obviously scoring
the scoring the win off of some bs. Terrible, absolutely terrible,

(55:41):
you know kind of yeah, the system you know, look
to add the insult to injury when the teeny World
Attacking Champions, the Hardys try to stick up for a friend.
Then the n XT Champion, Oba Feman crosses the line
to even the odds. Femi singingly handily takes out the
System as the X Division chatampion moves retreat, which is

(56:06):
pretty badass, you know. Director of Authority Santun Morel announces
next week on Impact, it will be the System first,
the Teenage World Tag Team Champions, the Hardy's and uh
you know, and the X and the NXT Champion over
faming in a six man tag match. Super bad ass.
Can't wait for that. Tesla Blanchard is going to be
in action for the first time in four years. Cool

(56:30):
ex kidding no, but you know she has to wrestle
or she's fired. Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich is out
and she tells Blanchard that she hopes she isn't fired
until she gets a chance to brutalize her. Slamovich offers
to face Blanchard's schedule opponent tonight and it is on obviously,

(56:50):
you know, Knockouts World Champions Matsha Slamovich takes on my
Amila Mela Mela Moore, you know, kicking ass after the match,
and X Core Jade attacks Lamovich from behind, taking her
taking her out with with Jaded Jade goes face to
face would blanch her on her way up to the ramp,
maybe potentially hitting up to a triple threat match that

(57:11):
would be pretty t d and cool. Heading toward a
sacrifice March fourteenth, that would be pretty bad ass. Director
of Authority Santimarilla and the LEA soon between NXC and
Teeny Ariana Grace announced that on March fourteenth, at ten
A Sacrifice, it will be Knockouts World Champion Master Slamvage
and defending her title against the NXT's Korah Jade. So

(57:32):
that's gonna be a good one. Can't wait to see you.
You know what that is on about? Ryan Emmoth announces
that his big brother Nick Nemath will returned from suspension
in twenty two days at TEENA Sacrifice. But I think
didn't Nick. I feel like Nick participate. He participated in
that in that Abadab not Abadabi, but I think it

(57:53):
was Saudi Arabia. I think they were doing like a
wrestling event out there, and then you know he was
doing that. So I think that's the reason why he's
taking some time off Teenage World Champion, Joe Hendray and
Elijah obviously defeating the Cologns. Not really, you know, everybody
kind of knew that that was gonna happen. I do
love Joe Hendry though, would love to see him on
w W A NNX once again, But what he's doing on

(58:14):
TEENA is actually pretty damn badass. So all in all,
I feel like that's, you know, super damn cool. All right,
Running short of this segment, let's go in a blast
on through some ring of honor Honor club we had
really Uta defeating Fuego de Soul Abandon defeats Rachel Ellinger,
Eller Ring, The Outrunners, Top Flyer and Von Erics defeat

(58:36):
the Frat House and the Pyramieer Athletes. Billy Starks with
Athena gets back into the win. Colin taking on by
defeating hym Hyum Commander defeated Lee Johnson, The Gates of
Agony defeated Exit his Prime Hatchesarah Barbero, Covenario and s
Soberano Junior defeated Sammy Guvara, Dark Panther and Fuego. Also

(59:01):
during the show, a video package airs of a women's
television champion, Red Velvet, obviously you can check that out online.
What other highlights do they have here?

Speaker 4 (59:11):
La la la la.

Speaker 2 (59:13):
No, that's pretty much it. But yeah, make sure you

(59:35):

If it makes major news in the run of professional wrestling,
we talk about it here on this show. One thousand

(01:01:39):
you guys have to say? All right, without further ado,
we're gonna talk about some Michael Cole, legendary WWE announcer
on The Impulsive podcast. And I gotta be honest, I
did watch this. It was about it was about an
hour and like twenty minutes. It's about an hour twenty minutes.
You know, just you know, Michael Cole, Logan Paul shooting stuff,

(01:02:00):
and you know, it was pretty cool. It was definitely
pretty cool. Michael Cole, obviously, you know, was getting a
little bit of baggage saying that, you know, he was
being replaced because of everything that happened in between Tiffany
Stratton and Logan Paul flat out said, you know, he
blamed Michael Hayes backstage, who started the rumor between you know,
Tiffany Stratton and Logan Paul, saying that hey, you were

(01:02:21):
hitting on Stratton. Ooh, busted, and that wasn't really the case.
And now a whole holding between the you know, Logan
Paul and Ludwig Kaiser and you know Logan Paul obviously
reiterating basically saying that, hey, dude, honestly, like I'm not
here to hit on girls right here to try to
get laid. I'm here to win, dude. I want to
win gold. I want to be somebody in w W here.

(01:02:42):
I want to be somewhere in twenty years in a
business sta Quite frankly, I've been absolutely prepping my whole
entire life for In the interview, you actually told Michael
Cole that he like you, Yeah, he was a YouTube
stunt man. Bam. Like at the end of the day,
that kind of stemmed, you know, perfect for w w
E right there. You know, so I thought that was
you know, I thought that was kind of funny. Michael

(01:03:03):
Cole also, you know, he did, you know, praise Logan
Paul for everything that he's done inside the ring, saying that,
I quote, he's never really seen anyone take to wrestling
as fast as as you did, obviously referring to uh
to Logan Paul, and Logan Paul obviously bringing up the
fact that you know, he has a lot of heat.

(01:03:25):
He does receive a lot of heat from the w
W EE universe and you know it's you know, it's
kind of crazy for me. I in my opinion, honestly,
I do believe that. You know, people a lot of
people probably do. They don't like Logan Paul. They don't
like him, you know they you know, I honestly I
don't think they. I don't think the w w A
Universe true truly believes that Logan Paul sucks. I don't

(01:03:47):
think that at all whatsoever. I feel like it's because
he's really really good. It's really really good that they
that it drives him absolutely freaking nuts. Is because you know,
this guy came basically you know, doing stuff with his brother.
You know, he does this, you know this BS YouTube channel.
I'm not crapping on or anything like that, but I'm
just trying to keep it real here, you know, from

(01:04:09):
you know, playing both sides Devil's Advocate here, you know,
he's doing these BS videos with his brother. You know,
they're they're trying to pretend like they're boxers. They're trying
to pretend like they can handle what the athletes have,
but they can, you know, try to pretend what it
takes to be a WWE superstar or what it takes
to be a professional boxer, and at the end of
the day, they're great. They're absolutely great at it. I

(01:04:31):
do like I do fancy myself from Jake Paul. I
feel like he's great Logan Paul inside the ring. I
know he was trained from the phenomenal one AJ Styles.
You see a lot of AJ styles inside Logan Paul.
So for me, I don't get the fact that a
lot of people hate watching Logan Paul matches. Look at
what happened last Monday Night Raw in the main event
against Ray Masterio, Ray Masterio against any opponent, seth Rawlins,

(01:04:53):
Drew McIntire, a Cmpunk, Jay jusso you got. The list
goes on and on and on. They would have just
you know, it would have been like a five to seven,
not even that much. I think it would have been
like a five minute match, maam. But Logan Paul made
made Ray Mysterio, and I feel like Ray Mysteria did
the same thing vice versa. They both made each other

(01:05:16):
look really, really damn good. They had an amazing match
where they left it all out inside the ring with
with wrestling moves, luchador moves, with a you know, high
flying a lot of a lot of you know, reversals
and pins. I feel like they brought the best out
of each other two weeks last last week, last week
on Monday Night Raw, where Logan Paul got that got

(01:05:36):
a spot inside the elimination chamber. And I feel like
the elimination chamber is actually a lot richer because Logan
Paul is inside it, and it's he's gonna do some crazy.
He's gonna do some crazy stuff. You're going to see.
I guarantee you. I'm going to give you the Eric
Rodgers guarantee that they're in the match. There's gonna be
something like crazy that Logan Paul does, and you know
the fans are gonna go holy holy, Like I I

(01:05:59):
believe Logan Paul. I definitely believe that one thousand and
ten percent. But then Logan Paul went to praise that
Michel praise Michael Cole. He says that, you know, Michael
Coles Paul is Michael Michael Coles Paul, Michael Cole's job
is absolutely one thousand and ten percent in poor in
And you know, Michael Cole had this to say, he said,

(01:06:21):
and I quote, we're not professional wrestling anymore. Netflix obviously
took us for entertainment purposes. Great superstars to uh, you know,
to fan connections. Obviously they need the emotional manipulation, but
most importantly storytelling, storytelling. He says he's a storyteller. I'm
not an announcer. I'm a narrator. I'm a storyteller. You know,

(01:06:44):
I'm a pitch man. I'm a play by play announcer
some some aspects, some aspect he creates characters. And I
agree with that one thousand percent. That's something about wrestling.
That's something about you know, you know logan. Paul even
asked Michael Coles like, hey, honestly, if the roles were reversed,
if you were in you know, UFC and you know, NFL,
Major League Baseball, NBA, would you be able to still

(01:07:07):
kind of bring the same funk that you do too
professional wrestling. I'm like, well, he kept it straight. He
was like, you do not know, you know, WWE matches,
they're they're predetermined. You know. I have my notes about
what's going to go on. That's how I can effectively
make people fall in love with this person. The reason
I can be an absolute storyteller, a pitch man not

(01:07:28):
so much of announcer, a narrator, creating narratives have been
helping these superstars become something that, you know, not just
inside the ring. It's something you represent on social media
like a brand and logan. Paul said that as well,
you know that's something that WWE does, So damn well,
this is not so much as you know, you look
inside the NFL, you look inside the NBA, and you

(01:07:50):
have people you know, you know they're they're playing for
the team. Obviously. You know, I might be comparing apples
the oranges here, but you can't really make your own
brand like you do in WWE. And it's and it
they should do it. They should do it one thousand
and ten percent WWE stars.

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
Ever since the implementation of social media, you know, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, whatever,
you're your own public relations representative. You can literally post
whatever you want. You can keep kfe you some people do,
some people don't. Fair enough, it all works out, but
at the end of the day, you can earn yourself
something on the side. You can do your own endorsement

(01:08:31):
deals if you wanted to. Before then, man, people were
calling Vistagram to be like, hey, can we you know,
I would love to sign a rebod commercial for the
Undertaker and be like, Nah, I don't get out of here.
I don't want to Mark Callaway distracted here. He has
a job to do. Now. They can just be like, yeah, sure,
where do I sign? You know, if it doesn't affect
what I do in WWE, you know, then it's then

(01:08:53):
it's all gravy. You know, it's a you know, it's crazy.
It's crazy. Michae Coole was talking about, you know, nowadays
and something that I've honestly did kind of pick up
on with recent day, modern day w WE announcers. You know,
it's not so much about telling you know, talking about
you know, talking about move by move, you know, oh
a left you know left kick with the d d T.

(01:09:14):
You know, he hits him with the you know, snap
sup plex. He's going up to the top Rowe oh
bo drop, you know what I mean. Like, it's not
so much as that anymore. And I've definitely noticed that.
You know, it's about the superstars, it's about the overall show.
It's about the overall product. And you know, Michael Cole
he's been he's he's been one of the best at it.
He's been absolutely one of my favorite announcers. And for me,

(01:09:37):
announcing is obviously I have a huge I you know,
I want to pursue a career in like a play
by play announcer. Obviously w W would be pretty bad ass.
But like you know, for the Angels, you know, for
for the RAM whatever you know, radio or whatever. You know,
you think about top tier announcers. You know, there's a
lot of top tier announcers in the NFL, for example,

(01:09:57):
you know Troy Aikman, you know, well, honestly, I feel
like Joe Buck makes shrike. I'm just gonna know no,
but you know, Joe Buck absolutely phenomenal. I missed him.

Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
See, this is something as well, something that the power
of announcing could bring you in terms of wrestling, like
Jim Ross. Jim Ross in terms of professional wrestling. He honestly,
the way he talked about wrestling, the way he was
really into it, you felt like you were sitting right
there on the front row, the way he was just
so passionate about the way he was basically like if

(01:10:28):
a superstar was spilling blood, you could like literally like
you see it from your eyes. The way he was
good like the way he made he made words turn
into like it was just words too, into like concrete
details in your mind that you're literally literally painting a
picture of what he's what he's saying, the words he's saying,
the way, you know, the way he's kind of painting

(01:10:49):
a picture. And it's art. It's absolutely one thousand and
ten percent art. The things that true Jim Ross does,
the thing that Michael Cole does. I think about it, like,
like I was saying, like announcers are so powerful. Look
at the World Series in Major League Baseball. Yes it's cool,
it's awesome. I do like to fancy myself in the
little World Series here and there. But guess what I

(01:11:09):
recently stowed watching the World Series? I did, And that's
because I'm a huge stork. I wonder why, Because Joe
Buck isn't doing it anymore. I Joe Buck and John Smoltz.
I thought there were absolutely one thousand and ten percent
top tier announcers like the way Joe Buck, you know,
he passes it the first out, number one, and they're like,

(01:11:30):
it's just like the way you deliver the message is
so damn important, so important to the product, so damn
important to the success, so damn important to keep the
fans in the seats buying tickets and at the same
time also buying buying merchandise, buying merchandise one thousand and
ten percent. Also, look at al Michaels and you know,
Kirk Kirk Street. They've been receiving a lot of scrutiny

(01:11:52):
because Thursday that football games. I gotta be honest, lately,
since Michael, since al Michaels took over, as well, since
Amazon started the whole thing. They started it what like
three four years ago. I think it was don't quote
me on that. Not a lot of good games on
Thursday night football, not a lot. So that Michael was
so al al Michaels was kind of like, you know,

(01:12:15):
the way he was talking. He was getting a lot
of media scrutiny and saying that, oh, al Michaels is
getting too old. Oh he doesn't care, he doesn't care anymore,
he doesn't have a passion for football. You hate football.
Football is America, you hate America. I'm just kidding, no,
but it was just that kind of ridiculous kind of assumption,
kind of that, you know, I felt bad for al

(01:12:37):
Michaels when he made it to prime. I gotta be honest.
You know, you watched NBC. You watched Sunday Night Football,
Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth. I love those guys Sunday
Night Football. He was so impactful. You know, you have
the carry Underwood starting, you know, and it took a

(01:12:58):
while for me to warm up the Mike Tarico. I
gotta be honest, but I do like him. I think
he's pretty cool. But basically, you know, all in I
just talking about how powerful, you know, announcers really do,
the way the way they have to be on top
of everything because you literally are the middleman between the
fans and the talent and the product and everything that

(01:13:18):
you see in front of in front of the screen.
You have to make the fans. Essentially, you have to
make the fans. So, you know, Michael Cole definitely a
thousand percent. I love him. I feel like he's a
you know, a thousand percent super awesome. Then he started talking,
you know, and then he started talking about the balance
between you know, a romance and life in you know,
in his marriage and stuff like that, which is pretty
damn cool, which is, you know, the way he's handling

(01:13:40):
with his wife. He's always been on the road, so
you know, she doesn't really expect you know, more or
less than that. That's just that's just how it is.
And she's a loving wife. They've had they had kids
at a young age to the point where it's like, okay,
let's grow them up. So then in our late thirties,
early forties, you know, middle forties, we can go out
and they're still forties is young already too young. That's

(01:14:00):
an absolute perfect way to kind of you know, kind
of create a regime, kind of a you know, create
a blueprint of how to raise a family, especially if
you're living life on the road all the time, like
Michael Cole, you know where you know, got to the
point where he you know, he's been with the company
for twenty eight years owning missed three shows shows that
he was you know, scheduled to show up in. That's phenomenal.
Twenty eight years only three shows, That's nuts, that's crazy.

(01:14:24):
I got co workers, man that call I call off
like three times a month. That's insane. So you know,
you gotta admit the commitment. You gotta admit the dedication,
the passion of this man right here, I you know,
I the way that they were killing it on the podcast.
I gotta be honest, I'm like, man, I was already
a huge Michael Cole fan. I'm a fan of Logan
Paul Inside the Ring, and you know, I watched the

(01:14:45):
podcast and yeah, I gotta be honest, I started watching
more Logan Paul podcasts, and you know, he's pretty damn
good at what he does. And you know a lot
of people, you know, they're they're you know, they get
a little upset, they get a little uset, but uh
but yeah, no, it's a yeah, it was. It was
super cool. It was super cool. And then Michael Fole
started talking about, you know how he signed a new contract,

(01:15:06):
brand new contract. I believe he said eight years. I
think he said, you know, for the next eight years
he's gonna be with w w WEE a highly elusive contract.
He said that. You know that under the new regime,
under Triple H, Paul Devec, Nick Cohn, and Leaf Fitting
of ESPN, you know, they really made him feel important.
And it really honestly had to take this long to

(01:15:26):
make somebody as prestigious, as amazing as Michael Cole to
feel really important. You know, I can crap on Vince
McMahon all damn day. But you know, Michael Cole, keeping
a professional, said that, you know what, I gotta think
Vince are giving me the opportunity. He never gave up
on me, So, you know, me as a fan, I'm like,
you know what, what a piece of crat man that
sucks Michael Cole should have been. You know, just you know,

(01:15:47):
if it takes twenty damn years out of business, then
you finally get a contract and you finally get your
notice and he finally there's that person that starts that
clo that slow clap in the middle of the you know,
the staff meeting or whatever, and you're like, shit, like
crap man, like really, take you guys this long moment,
like come on, guys, what the hell? So I thought
that was kind of crazy. I love that. I love

(01:16:08):
that one thousand and ten percent. And you know, he
would talk about how you can see it in the
locker room with a lot of these WWE superstars, you know,
becoming a family, you know, with a lot of them
basically saying that they feel comfortable to create characters on
their own, and you know, so it's gonna be more.
It's gonna be projected easier on the screen, which is
great for the fans. Absolutely amazing for the product and

(01:16:28):
its future heading forward, and especially with the Netflix area.
So I feel like that's that's that's awesome. And then
he started talking about Corey Graves. Corey Graves was brought up,
you know, the Corey Graves situation. Michael cole is saying that,
you know, it was about the trouble that he got
in terms of social media. He meant to post something
that was you know, thought provoking, that was kind of
you know, joking, but you know, I gotta be honest,

(01:16:50):
I'm not a huge Corey Graves guy. I kind of
thought he was a jerk. You know. There was an
old w W announcer who came from UFC, he did NXC.
His name was Marl Ronald Ronaldo. He was super damn
cool Corey Graves. You know it was it was you know,
speculated backstage. You know, you know he you know, sending tweets.

(01:17:10):
How you know, Mora wasn't handling it great, and how
he kind of how he kind of sucked more obviously
suffering from like he had you know, by he was
my polar he was like a you know, like a
manic depressive and stuff like that. So obviously what he
read online highly affected him to the point where he
was like, you know, he had to take some time off.
You know, it's kind of like working with that coworker
you know who like is emotionally draining because there's such

(01:17:32):
like a they're like a stickler. They're like literally like
I don't know, not I wouldn't want to I don't
want to say like negative, but it's like, I don't know,
it seemed like they're always not like in a bad mood, critiquing, critiquing,
being a being a piece of crap. Maybe I'm just
gonna know, but I don't know if I just feel

(01:17:54):
like Corey Graves's mouth behind the scenes has gotten him
in trouble a lot of the time back in and
now it's kind of coming fruition now. You know, he
was replaced by Pat McAfee with Michael Cole, which is better.
You know, Joe Testatory Wad Barrett on SmackDown, which is
you know better. I did not want to see Joe
Testatory and Corey Graves Corey Graves on NXC. But even

(01:18:16):
when Corey Graves is on NXC. You don't really see
him saying much things anyways. But all in all, I
you know, it sucks to Corey Graves. Like I said,
I'm not a huge fan of him, but you know,
I feel, you know whatever, But I don't know. He
did call Jim Ross. Michael Cole did call Jim Ross
the best ever to do it. I definitely love that
he left off the podcast saying that he's I'm having
the most fun that I've ever had doing w WE,

(01:18:39):
and you know, we don't have to we don't have
to basically talk about, you know, basically what they don't
want to talk about, which is, you know, super cool. Obviously,
Michael Cole still kicking ass, taking names in the w
w E an ounce food love him and Pat McAfee.
I love Michael Cole with absolutely anyway. You know, with
Taz Jbo, you know, Michael Cole was able to just

(01:19:00):
kind of make a professional elevent out of anybody. So
if there's anybody that I love, getting a lucrative contract,
finally getting noticed for the accomplishments, finally getting notice that
all everything that he's putting inside the company, and it
took twenty eight dan years that's crazy, but yeah, honestly,
shedding some light onto Michael Cole, the best w one
of the best WWE, professional wrestling, honestly sports in general,

(01:19:23):
one of the best sports announcers in the whole entire
world in the history of sports. Congratulations to Michael Cole.
All right, guy, So, hey, do not go anywhere. We
got our fifth and final segment. We got thunder Rosa
humiliated by aew. We're gonna talk about the spot when
we come back. So grab your favorite snack, grab your
favorite ice cube beverage. You joined me here in about
twenty five seconds, So hey, do not go anywhere, Number

(01:20:28):
ship and we are back with the GSMC Wrestling Laureate Podcast,

(01:21:05):
brought to you by the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your
favorite wrestling fan here, Eric Rodriguez, Every Monday night live
on the GSMC Sports Network APM Pacific time, elevel FAM
Eastern Time, here to talk about the greatest thing of
the world, professional wrestling. We talk about all the action
inside and outside of the ring, backstage curtain calls, all
the rumors, all the drama. We talk about inactive STATUSS
injury updates. We talk about superstar contract negotiations, extensions, and

(01:21:29):
new signings. We talked about promotions from AEW to WWE,
the TEENA to Ring of Honor. If it makes major
news in the world of professional wrestling, we talk about
it here on this show. One thousand and ten percent.
All right, without further a dude, talk about some thunder Rosa.
Thunder Rosa recently on AEW Dynamite. You know, it's been
a while since we saw thunder on Dynamite, and I

(01:21:49):
gotta be honest, I feel like I brought this up
a couple of weeks ago, you know, kind of crazy,
how kind of you know, it kind of came in fruition, so,
you know, just kind of talk about it. Last Wens
thing on AEW Dynamite, thunder Rosa was placed in a
really really weird spot. Uh. You know, Meghan Bain and
Chris Statlander had a match where Penelt little Penelope Ford

(01:22:11):
got involved, and you know, Chris Statlander picks up the loss.
But you know ae W and you know, I get it.
I get it that you're trying to build up Megan
Bain as one of the biggest heels in the in
ae W uh with Penal with penelop before getting involved.
Thunderosa sporadically comes out to the rescue. But what happened

(01:22:31):
in the ring was absolute garbage. It was it was.
It was really bad. It was pretty pretty bad. A
lot of wrestling media, you know, including me. I got
to be honest. The way I saw it, I knew
right away that something was wrong. I knew right away
that something was wrong. And you know, in terms of
professional wrestling, you kind of need a little bit of
professionalism from the superstars inside the ring. And you know,

(01:22:55):
I saw it from thunder Rosa. I saw it from
thunder Rosa, not so much as Penelope Ford or or
Meghan Bain. Like I said, I'm not too sure what
was happening backstage politics. Maybe that they you know, went
off on their own tangent there, or maybe it was
something that Tony Kahan told them, like, hey, like you
don't have to do this, you don't have to do that.
I told a thunder to do this, and you know

(01:23:16):
she's not listening. Bam. You know that's what happens. That's
basically that's what you get. Maybe sabotage, maybe sabotage, but
it was definitely one of the worst, Like Babyface run
in with like a steel chair or like a rescue
attempt in professional wrestling or in aew history. Was it was.
It was awful. It was terribly awful, you know, throwing

(01:23:37):
the rossa runs in with the steel chair. The heels
at this point, you know, are expected to They're expected
you know what you do in that situation years you know,
you're expected to color away, You're expected to run away,
you know, kind of have like a you know, kind
of like it, oh my god, we're gonna get hit.
We're gonna get a hit. You know, we're gonna get
we're gonna get slammed here. So let's you know, kind
of run away and kind of have be the you know,
kind of be laughing and smiling down the ramp. But

(01:24:00):
you know, it was. It was awful. It was crazy.
And the main part of all this, I gotta be honest,
Ford and Bane, you know, is the main thing that
the AE w want to take us away from this
where you kind of had thunder usso with the chair
like like I'm.

Speaker 7 (01:24:15):
Gonna hate I'm gonna do it. No, you you you know,
I'm gonna do it. Like is that really what they
wanted us to think? In ae w like are you
serious right now? Like, did you do people want us
to believe Penel before it and Megan Banbe.

Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
Were complete badasses? Is that what they wanted? Like or
did they thought that, you know thunder Russell's be like,
oh you know what, you know she has that like
in the ring you know self tomorrow, which just like
you know what, I'm not gonna hit you with the chair.
You know, I'm not gonna stoop down to your level,
so I'm not gonna swing. But it wasn't like that whatsoever.

(01:24:52):
And you could totally tough from the body language, all
the nonverbal all the nonverbal cues was like I said,
it was just awf word. It was bad. It was
very uncomfortable to watch, and it made Thunderossa look kind
of stupid and you know it's it's crazy, and I like,
I feel for thunder Rosa. She looked confused. She looked

(01:25:14):
absolutely confused. She felt contemplated on swinging, like for the
miscommunication inside the ring, and that the fact that Megan
Baine and Ford did not want to sell it. They
did not want to sell it, which is against the
rules of professional wrestling. You know, you gotta keep you
gotta keep k fame. You gotta respect your other superstars,
and you get you know, you gotta do it. And
you know, if you're not gonna do it for the

(01:25:35):
for for yourself, do it for the fans, do it
for the show. Baine and Ford obviously mate thunder Rosa
in her return at ae W Dynamite look absolutely stupid, omnipotent,
like she was basically the young she was the young,
unexperienced wrestler. She spent so much, she spent too much
time in the podcasting booth with Boullie, Ray Dudley and

(01:25:56):
Mark Kenley to be considered as a wrestler anymore. And
then it's just awesome. It was just awful, absolutely awful,
you know, the you know and all the you know.
She came out all nonchalant and even after that, Ford
grabbed the chair. She grabbed the chair from from in
like a weird like little like I don't know, she
willingly like grabbed it. Like she grabbed it like you know,

(01:26:18):
like I was talking about before, you know, like you know,
like she was a six year old, like in the
playground she grabbed the dodgeball of you know, thunder Rossa
was like I'm gonna hit you. I'm gonna hit you,
and like no, no, no, you're not, like you know
what I mean. Like it was just so awkward. It
was so damn awkward. And like I said, I get it.
You want to make Bane the total heal, the total badass,

(01:26:39):
but Penelope Ford stood in front of Meghan Bane like
she was the badass, and it was just the I
don't know, it just looked. It looked awful, It looked absolutely,
absolutely awful, and it was got It got to the
point where, once when Penelope Ford was trying to grab
that chair from thunder Rosa, Meghan Bane was put in
a perfect spot where she had an open attack on Thunderosa.

(01:27:00):
I bet even Thunder was like, all right, okay, so
this is what we're doing. Okay. So then she was like,
all right, I'm gonna get beat down by Megan Bain
right here. This is the heel, this is what's gonna happen.
And it didn't happen. It never freaking happened. Megan Bank
should have attacked, she was being a true heel. She
should have attacked. And then you got Ford, you got Banes.
They finally make their way to the front after the

(01:27:22):
referee had to make a step in, after he had
to basically be like all right, it was like you
had to come in. I fell bad for the ref too.
I kind of felt bad for her statlander too. He's
just kind of laying there. She's like, oh my god,
what's going on? Like why is this happening? And god
that it was just awful, and then you know, she
throws the chair on the ramp out of frustration. I

(01:27:43):
could only imagine how pissed off down the Rosa was,
you know. But then again, like it could have been
a miscommunication, and you know, it's all fair, it's all
fair in love and war, but I don't know what's uh.
That was just really like really really bad. There were
so many spots, and thunder Rosa really honestly gave those
two girls so many open opportunities. Be like, even if

(01:28:05):
it was watched, even if it was a miscommunication, she
gave them so many openings to make a ride and
they didn't. And that's why it made a lot of
you know, wrestling media believe that maybe you know, she
was set up, Maybe thunder Rosa is bean sabotage from
aw Maybe Tony Kahan, you know, we've seen it happen
with with Sammy Govar, We've seen it happen with you know,

(01:28:28):
Sea Punk, with Ricky Starks, which you know, Thunderossa was
super happy. She she she forbade she you know, actively,
she publicly let it known that she was happy that
Ricky Starks signed with nxceed. That could have been, you know,
super freaking bad, but I don't know, it was just

(01:28:50):
really bad, you know, especially with the women's division AEW
kind of like they think they really need this. They
had an amazing, an absolute amazing banger of a match
for day W World Women's Championship between Tony Storm and
Mariah May at ae W Grant Slam Australia, and then
just for something like this to happen, like, dude, you're
killing all the momentum. But it's okay. But it's okay,

(01:29:11):
you know what I mean. Tony Kahn just assumes if Mercedes,
if Mercedes Money has all the titles, everything is just
fine and dandy. I'm just kidding though, but I don't know.
And like I said before, the you know ae W
has cut down production meetings and you know, I'll look
what happened. Look what happened. You have an awkward meeting
inside the ring. I know it was you know, it was,

(01:29:33):
it was, it was. It was crazy. It was just
absolutely awful, you know. And you know, is Tony Kahn
really being a little bit scandalous here? Is he being
a little bit what is the right word? What is right?
I don't want to say fruitful? That sounds a little weird.
Is he holding a grudge? Petty? You mean petty? You know.
Obviously you have Bully Ray a part of LFG, WWEE,

(01:29:57):
Tommy Dreamer TNA obviously part this new partnership with WWE.
You have Mark Henry recently seen in WWE audience and
it seems like his son is going to wind up there.
And I don't know, It's just it was awful, very
very awful. I feel bad for thunder Rosa, you know,

(01:30:17):
like I said, out of the frustration, she threw the chair
on herself. And you know the fact that she you know,
and this is another reason why a lot of people
do speculate that it was a setup to make Thunderossa
look really stupid. Is that Thunderosa through the chair? Chris
Statlander was still down. You had Ford Baine could have
av I could have honestly had a two on one
assault band once again, you know, Thunderosa leaving it open

(01:30:39):
for like something to come about this, but you know
it didn't really happen. Didn't happen. You know you had
thunder Ussa remaining you know, professional and you know, you know,
back in old school w WE, you have Stone Colts,
Steve Austin, you had the Undertaker, you had a bunch
of wrestlers. I was like, you know what, I don't
want wrestling to seem that fake. I guess you can
say or that choreographed. So if you don't duck from

(01:31:02):
this big boot, you don't duck from this clothesline, you
don't duck from this chair shot. Guess what you're gonna
get tattooed? I let you know, I let you know.
You choose whether to hear me, You choose whether to
listen whatever happens. If you don't move out of the way,
if you don't act accordingly, guess what you're gonna get.
You're gonna get bamm done and hardcore. Holly was really

(01:31:23):
big on this in WWE. A lot of WWE wrestlers
coming up, said one of the greatest matches that they've
ever had. One of the most roughest superstars was hardcore
Holly because he was like, you know what, we can't
bs them the fans, We can't bs them that much.
You know, they're they're smarter than they look. You know,

(01:31:43):
they know everybody knows, you know what I mean, Like,
it's not like that, So hardcore Holly was able to,
you know, like, dude, I'm gonna hit you. I'm gonna
slam you on your head, the Alabama slam Bam, I'm
gonna drop you on your head and with a brainbuster.
You know, I'm gonna hit an elbow from the top
rope and I'm gonna hate you right here. And to
start them gonna come off with the bruise rid if
you don't protect yourself one of them, you know, obviously

(01:32:04):
old school professional wrestling. I like, it's really, honestly not
like this now. But I don't know it's once, you know,
Hardcorehaller basically said, honestly, it's not personal. Basically, it's just business.
But I don't know, it's insane. Insane people like I said,
people know that wrestling is choreographed. If it looks really bad,
if it looks bad in professional wrestling standpoint, back in

(01:32:27):
the locker room, people kind of view it as an
absolute disaster as it's the most awful thing in the
whole entire world, in the whole entire world, because they
are performers, they are professionals. You know, when you go
inside a wrestling ring, wrestlers are you know, they they
have one job. It's protect the wrestler on the offense.

(01:32:48):
Their job is to protect the wrestler on the defense,
and vice versa. If you're a wrestler on the defense,
you have to protect the wrestler on the office. Look
at what happened with you know, with JD McDonough when
he did that backflip off the top rope and bruise
his lungs. Bruce is lung I've are supposed to what's
catch him? But his his I think I saw his

(01:33:08):
legs got caught up or he tripped or something like that,
and then bam, that's you know, that's what happens, and
you know, and it's not good. It's not good. It
makes it look for you know, it hurts the superstars,
it's bad for TV. It's not good. But it did
look you know, Jad McDonald's move did look pretty freaking badass,
And like I said, I'm not encouraging, you know, wrestlers
that are injured themselves for our entertainment. But I thought

(01:33:30):
that was actually, you know, I was like, dude, Jade
McDonald's a badass, dude. He's a total dog man, total
total dog, total dog. So, like I said, is it
you know Tony Kahan, you know, punished seen thunder Rosa
after everything, you know, with the whole you know, her
getting injured and everything that's going down with the bustled
up and podcast which is mainly like WWE circulated, you know,

(01:33:52):
around that kind of content and media. You know it,
We'll wolf thunder Rosa find herself in w w E
one day. I feel like that would be a good spot.
I want to be, you know, upset about it. Right now,
she's making five hundred thousand dollars a year. I feel
like I think I read somewhere that her contract is
year by year. I don't quote me on that, but

(01:34:12):
I don't know. I just you know, you never want
to do that to a talent. You know, you never
want to make them look stupid or omnipotent or you
never you never really want to humiliate them in front
of their peers, because that's just bad morale. You know.
That's one of the reasons why Cody left, That's one
of the reasons why I see him Punk left and
then ever since then, you know, I don't feel like
Tony Kahan has the you know, like like the environment

(01:34:35):
backstage in aew to be like, oh, you know, it's
okay to you know, undermine your peers unless you know,
unless it's okay with me, Like you know what I mean,
that's you know, that's not a good way to handle
your business. You know, like I said, maybe a little
bit too much personal then in terms in you know,
as a professional aspect of it. But no, thunder rossa
definitely cut you know. If you want to come make
your way back to w W and kick some ass,

(01:34:56):
you can definitely do that. Or like I said, maybe
I'm just talking out of my ass here. Maybe it
was a huge miscommunication. Maybe Megan may have fell out
before the moment throwing the roast stack back there they're like,
oh my god, I'm so sorry, Like you know what
I mean, Like we don't really know what happens backstage.
Maybe some you know, maybe some you know, some news
will come from it, maybe in today or tomorrow, but

(01:35:19):
as of right now, it's all speculation obviously, you know,
wrestling fan, you know, that's what we do, That's what
we love to do, and we're gonna continue to do it.
