all the action inside and outside of the ring. I

w WWE New Japan Professional Wrestling. If it makes major
news in the world of professional wrestling, we talk about

(01:45):
it here on this show onenty ten percent. So without
further dudes, go to jump on into it first and foremost.

little banter would love to hear absolutely everything and anything
you guys have to say and down. So welcome to
the GSMC Wrestling Lawyer Podcast. You know, first segment, we're
gonna talk about some SmackDown coming up tonight. We're also
going to talk about w w E NXT. It was

(02:31):
to go home show before Vengeance Day. We're gonna talk
a little bit about that. Then we're going to talk
about the Undertaker of the undertake a right now. It's
absolutely hot water based on in an interview that he
had with Bullie Ray Dudley on the Busted Open podcast
basically protecting Vince Makman. Well, I wouldn't really say protecting Vincemakrann.

(02:52):
I would just you know, I would say more or
less just kind of making sure people don't really you know,
I think overall, I think his intentions were you know,
I'm not trying to sound like, you know, you know,
a bad person or anything. But I think overall his
intentions were good. You know, he was just not trying
to buy into you know, what people think about Vince
and on the outside with the allegations and the scandals

(03:15):
and the sexual like all this kind of stuff pops up,
and a lot of people, including myself, you know, I
read you know, I I checked out his comments, and
I gotta be honest, it was a little The only
thing I really got to say. I read a Wrestling
tablie that said it was it was stupid, it was terrible,
could definitely jeopardize his legacy in w w E. But

(03:36):
being being honest, you know, I just think it was
a little insensitive, that's all really, you know, for the
victims people who have been victims of that kind of
like allegations and stuff like that. And I don't know,
we're gonna talk about that. Well. Sometimes to be honest,
you you know, you get caught with your foot in
your mouth once in a while, and I think you're
definitely got caught this time, uh nurse. In a fourth segment,

(03:58):
we're gonna talk about SAMETHA. Irving's at the earlying drops
a new single today. Obviously it is Valentine's Day. Maybe
her inspiration was where's Ricochet? Maybe maybe not? Maybe you know,
you know, maybe they have a lovely planned evening. Definitely
miss seeing them on WWE, but so far Ricashet and aew,
you know, storyline is a little but you know, we'll

(04:20):
talk about it then in our fifth segment, we're gonna
talk about what do we have for fifth segments? We're
going to talk about women's evolution. We're gonna talk about
the women's evolution pl E Part two. I think there's
gonna be a new women's evolution. I feel like they
there's so much talent in terms of the women's division
on WWE, SmackDown, Raw, NXT, you name it, and a

(04:43):
chance for them to go out and showcase, you know,
and that this doesn't necessarily mean that they're gonna be
taking off of pl e's like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rebel.
I don't think so at all. I feel like they
should have a women's pay per view every year. We're
gonna get into that when you know, when the time
it's come. But without a shadow of a doubt, we're
gonna talk about some WWE SmackDown. Of course, like I said,

(05:06):
make sure you guys hit up the comment section. Superman
punch that like a subscribe button to the show, follow
the show, follow the network. Here at the GSMC Sports Network,
we do love a lot of peace, love and positivity
one thousand and ten percent. But of course, in terms
of talking sports, there's gonna be criticisms, there's gonna be
some disagreements. It's kind of inevitable when you talk sports
with friends or you know, when you talk sports. In

(05:27):
terms of you know, media, absolutely, we are super grateful
for each and every one of you guys who joins
us here daily, checks out the shows, and you know,
supports us. So definitely thank you guys in advance. So
let's keep the conversation going. Let's get this party started,
sending those super chats, those superstickers, because you guys are
super awesome during our live shows. Love love, love to
hear from you guys, and you know, just want to

(05:47):
make sure you guys's voice is part of the makesure
you guys are a part of the show. There's no
such thing as as a no, no comment or anything. Well,
of course, you know, keep it, you know, keep a professional.
Don't be sure to drop your thoughts inside that comment
with a nice little thumbs up and a subscribe. So yeah,
let's talk about SmackDown. Snackdown obviously to no SmackDown. Tonight

(06:10):
Capitol One Arena in Washington, d C. We have Naomi
taking on Chelsea Green for the elimination Chamber qualifying match. I
talked about this before on the show, and I'm not
trying to dis Naomi at all whatsoever, but I feel
like you put Naomi in there, it's kind of kind
of it's gonna be it's gonna make you a little

(06:30):
I don't want to sound mean. I feel, you know,
because she's gifted, she's talented, you know this and that
and the other. But this is an elimination chamber match
to determine who's going to challenge at WrestleMania. And you
think about the WrestleMania card right now, so far, all
we have is Jay Usso and Gunther. Yeah, it's pretty good.
We've seen it on Saturday Night's main event, so I
give it so far. And I know it's only one match,

(06:51):
and I am totally jumping the gun here, you know,
I mean, I'll give it. I'll give it a beat
right now, and they need to start compiling matches, especially,
you know, with the I would say there's four, No,
there's there's about eight. I think there's more. There's about
eight episodes of SmackDown, eight episodes a Raw. Two more
months to WrestleMania April nineteenth Night one, April twentieth Night two,

(07:15):
and you know, I feel like they need a big
name obviously. I feel like the winner of this elimination
chamber match is going to take onto It's going to
take on tifity Stride. You know. I know a lot
of people think Charlotte Flair is going to be the
one to challenger. I think not. I think if Charlotte
challenges ray or Ripley, the WWE Women's World Champion, it

(07:36):
would definitely be like a main event worthy WrestleMania Night
two kind of caliber of a match. I think so
one thousand and ten percent. Both the women are at
the top of their game. Both of them are super successful,
they're super dominant. Most importantly, they're super athletic to put
on a great show, to put on a great match,
to kind of cap off an amazing night. The skeptical,
the spectacle that is, you know, that is WrestleMania I

(07:59):
feel like that needs to happen. So, you know, you
think about the women in the Elimination Chamber match. I
would love to see Alexa Bliss, you know, take on
Tiffany Stratton. But right now, you know, she's kind of
coming out with her doll making, you know, a little
hints here and there that she might or may not
be part of the Wyatt six. So maybe keeping that
storyline open, I can see that that just leaves you know,

(08:20):
perhaps maybe Chelsea Green's gonna win, which I which I
feel like she will. I feel like she will win
this qualifying match. But actually I heard I heard that
Trish Stratus is, you know, she wants to make an
appearance at Elimination Chamber obviously in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You know,
I think that's her hometown. I think that's her hometown.
And there's been speculation stating that she will challenge Chelsea

(08:41):
Green for the Women's United States Championship. And Chelsea She's
had a decent reign so far, so if she loses
it or if she fights somebody at Elimination Chamber, I
could definitely I can be okay with that because once again,
news Media, once when Michelle McCool was inducted into the
WWE Hall of Fame. Well, she was gonna be, She's
gonna be in the Classic. With twenty twenty five, Chelsea

(09:03):
Green kind of laid down the challenge for lay Cool obviously,
Layla Michelle McCool lay cool, and I you know, see
Piper nivin Chelsea Green Classic WrestleMania Match of nostalgia. You know,
you have the you know, the old timers come in,
show that they still got it, Show that Michelle McCool
is definitely still you know that she still got it,
and she's going to be a Hall of Famer. So
I definitely think a thousand and ten percent that could

(09:26):
be the way to go. If Chelsea Green drops the title,
I Elimination Chamber that it would be against. It would
be Chris Stratus. And you know, I know I've you know, nostalgia.
I wouldn't because Chris, She's still in great shape. She's
definitely still in great shape. She could still represent the championships,
she could still be a fighting champion wrestled you know,
day in and day out. I guess what I'm afraid

(09:49):
of is this young talent kind of falling off. But
as of right now, you think about what's happening on SmackDown.
You know, Naya Jackson is already kind of you know,
she's already kind of consumed in, you know, in a
feud with Nya, with Tiffany Stratton. And I feel like
she's gonna maybe feud with Charlotte once when WrestleMania is
all said and done, because Charlotte Flair, she's if WWE

(10:11):
does it right. And I could be totally wrong. I
don't think Charlotte Flair should get a bell. I'm sorry,
I just don't think she should as of right now.
I feel like you have to let Raya. She's on
top of the road right now, you kind of get
let her do her thing. Tiffany Stratton, she's like right
there on the cusps, but she's like right there on
the top. She's you know, she's excelling. WWE wants to
make her into a total star. You cannot end this

(10:33):
ragn of tippy times, so, you know, so super quick.
So that just leaves, you know, and I feel like
maybe it's gonna happen sometimes tonight on SmackDown, We're gonna
we have the main event. Tiffany Stratton defending her w
W Women's Championship against Naya Jacks. I feel like some way,
somehow you're gonna get, you know, you're gonna get Charlotte Flair,
maybe finding some way to kind of screw over, you know,

(10:56):
Naya Jacks after everything that Nya said last week. But
it's it's up in the air right now. Like I
feel like Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, it's you know, like
I said, I just don't like that she won the Rumble.
I feel like you could have had so many different
storylines overall. I feel like Tripleacio's decision of letting Charlotte

(11:16):
Flair and j Usso win the war Rumble is, you know,
I feel like it was a nice little safe choice.
It was a nice little safe choice. You have all
these young talented superstars that are be coming into WWE
as of next year, so you kind of have to,
you know, monitor that a little bit. But at the
same time, you have to kind of leave operations and
you got to leave opportunities, most importantly open, so you

(11:37):
can slide in a newcomer and they can make a
name for themselves. If you have Charlotte Flair standing up
on top challenge it for the title over and over
and over and over and over again. It could be
a little could be a little troublesome. Plus it would
be a nice it'd be a nice way for Tiffany Strata,
for trist Stratus to make it back to WWE if
and she said this in an interview, that she wouldn't
be totally against, you know, being a full timer at

(11:59):
w w WE once again. But then you know, in
the interview as well, she also exclaimed that she does
not want to take any opportunities away from any of
the young superstars, but she said, hey, they're okay with it,
you know, then I would definitely, you know, I love
to play the part. I'd be part of storylines. Basically,
she's saying that if I'm stuck at the storyline where
I would have to give up the title, she wouldn't
mind it. And basically, you know, she she cares about

(12:22):
the business of all business, which is actually a super
super super duper cool. Pretty Deadly has earned a tag
team title shop by defeating the WWEE Tag Team Champions
DIY last week. Are they gonna get their shot tonight?
I don't. I don't think so. Tonight, we do have
MotorCity machine Guns taking on those guards. I think those
guards and they need to win this match. I think

(12:42):
they need to win this match, and I think they will.
They definitely will with the help of the Street Profits.
You're gonna get a MotorCity machine Guns and the Street
Profits going at it. But you know, just that's a
high end main event matching itself right there in the
tag team division. It sucks that there's not gonna be
gold on the line. I do like Di I I
do like Tomaso Champa and Jonny Gargano. They're better as

(13:03):
a team as opposed to them, you know, being a part.
But I you know, I don't really see the flair.
You know, they're they're kind of like those you know,
those those those not enemies, that's not the right word.
They're kind of like bullies. They're kind of bullies, you know,
They're they're cocky saying that this and that the other.
The best tag team there is. I think there's gotta

(13:24):
be a different shot right now. I am huge. I'm
really high on the Street Profits. I gotta be honest,
I'm a huge montas Ford kind of guy. I definitely
think he's going to be a future WWE champion, but
as of right now, you know, you got to give
him a shot. And those Garza you know, those guys
have been and like with the release of Electro Lopez,
I just hope that Legato del Fantasma doesn't they don't follow,

(13:46):
you know, Santo's Escobar as well as well as those guars.
I would suck if they left. I gotta be honest.
I like, you know, and their tack team matches they're
exciting to watch, so should be interesting to kind of
find out what happens there. But you know, like I said,
still up in the air. Solda so Cola to return tonight.
Obviously he returned last week by attacking Cody Rhods. I

(14:07):
don't want to see him fight Cody Roads anymore. That's
something that I feel like they kind of set Solo
Ciccola up to fail. I do. I feel like that
one thousand and ten percent he wanted to omit. You know,
according to the storyline, he was like this, uh, you know,
they needed a tribal chief, they needed somebody to assume
the role as you know with the Ulafalla, and he

(14:27):
was like, you know what, screw it. And then he
looked exactly like what the storyline was trying to perpetuate.
He just he's not ready yet. He's not ready yet.
He's still young. Maybe one day he will be ready.
Maybe that's overall what they were trying to do. But
they put Cody, they put him against Cody Roads super quick,
tried to get him to fight Roman Reigns right off
the bat, and you know, all due respect with the

(14:48):
storyline heading into WW Survivor series, I definitely understand why
they did that because, you know, we got to see
the original blood line come back together. That's completely bad ass.
We all got what we wanted, and I just I
don't know. I feel like Solo's careers a little suffering.
I want to see him come back absolutely, you know,
ready to tear it down. I want to see him
win matches. There's been speculation stating that maybe he found

(15:10):
his way out of the bloodline. Right now, Jacob Fattu
and Toma Tung are kind of doing their own thing,
and it'd be brutally honest if they come back together.
I feel like the storyline of the new Young bloodline
would kind of be a little stale, you know. I
feel like if he does decide to just opt in.
They decided to go after La Knight, shouinz Kan Nackamore
for the United States Championship. I don't know why. I

(15:32):
feel like that's a devalue of solos because I feel
like they wanted to make him into like a main
eventer kind of thing. But then again, I'm not trying
to devalue the United States Championship. I know overall it
is a mid card Bell and Shitzkan Nackamara being the champion.
So far it's been it's been a good raign. It's
been a decent reign. He doesn't have that pop that

(15:52):
the La Knight does, you know, if Sola has a title,
you know, and if he was the United States Championship,
I feel like that would kind of a little himself
as a competitor on the SmackDown roster. So maybe that
wouldn't be such a bad idea, But for me, I
feel like they'd be kind of like, you know, like
a desperate choice, you know what I mean. Like, like
I said, I could be wrong. Maybe I'm too you know,

(16:13):
I'm too attached to this, you know, maybe I'm staring
at this little piece super you know, super duper, you know,
you know, in thorough analysis, maybe some sometimes I gotta
take a step back to see the overall bigger picture.
But you know, I don't know. I just need some
something needs to happen at WrestleMania for Soloska, And you know,
maybe the United States Championship is the answer. Who knows,

(16:34):
Maybe maybe not. All right, we have Damian Priest against
Brown Stroman against Jacob Fatoo in an elimination chamber qualifier
Shroman fat two. They're gonna go at it. They're gonna
completely beat the hell out of each other. I feel
like this is going to be a nice way for
Damian Priest to assert himself inside the elimination chamber match.

(16:56):
And you know, he came to SmackDown. He had that
little backstage running with Cody Rhodes said I'll see you soon.
So right now he is on the mind of Cody Roads,
He's on the mind of the w W universe of
being a future champion. He's young, he's I feel like
overall he's better as a baby face than he was
a heel on the judgment day as the World Tivy
Waight Champion, he was he was decent you know, a

(17:17):
lot of people claim that he was a transitional champion,
you know, because Seampunk got hurt, Jim Mcatire got hurt,
Seth Rowlins got hurt around the Wrestling Mania season. So
they're like, all right, Damian Priese cash in Pam's I
could get out a jail free card. He runs Monday Night,
Rob with the Judgment Day, you have the Judgment Day betrayal,
and then you know that that is the end of

(17:37):
Damian Priese's you know, title reign, and then that's the
you know, the random gunther you know, They're like, hey,
let's give gunther A, you know, give him a shot.
But I feel like Damian Priese is gonna win this match.
What I do definitely want to see is I want
to see Ron Stroman and Jacob Fatoo both get established
storylines after tonight, because right now, Stroman's kind of floating around.

(18:00):
Fatoo keeps, you know, he's he's dropping promos backstage and
in the ring, and he keeps losing to Jay Usso
on separate occasions and uh Cody Rhodes on separate occasions.
So what I want to see is I want to
see after the match I want to see, you know,
I want to see braun strum and getting beat the
holy hell out of from Jacob Fattoo, Tama Tongua may

(18:22):
be Solo Soca, and then I want to see the
White Six come back. I feel like this would be
an amazing way for you know, Eric Rowan to come
back to save his UH, to save his old friend,
and then Eric Rowan starts getting beat down, and then
the lights turn out, and then you see Uncle Howdie.
Then you see Dexter Loomis and Joe Gacy and then now,
you know, now you get like a you know, now
you get like a nice little form four match at WrestleMania.

(18:44):
That'd be pretty bad ass. Obviously, I feel like we're
not four and four. That would technically be five. Am
I tripping? I think I am tripping? Yeah, I know
that'd be five. Or they would like to choose somebody
else and it'd be Tama Tongue, Solo Soa, and Jacob
Fattoo taking on probably Boddice Broun Stroman and and Eric Rowan.
That'd be a nice little dream match for for Bo

(19:05):
Dallas as well, obviously going with his UH with his
brother's old running mates and Eric you Rowan and Braun Strowman.
So I feel like that'd be pretty cool, but obviously
that's what I want to see. Is it going to happen?
I don't know. I hope it does, but you know,
you can't always give what you want. All Right, we're next.
Our next segment, we're gonna talk about w W E
NX seeds to go home show before Vengeance Day. We're

(19:26):
gonna talk about that. So grab your favorite snack, grab
your forrid ice cold beverage, and join me here at
about twenty five seconds. So, hey, do not go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Something cool about wrestling fandom is you can absolutely hunt
down anybody you know in you know, at a Walmart,
a Target, at the bar, or whatever restaurant you know,
or Disneyland for that matter. You see wrestling, sure you
can automatically just strack up a conversation and it's like
mutual respect is established on you know, on the you know,
on the right there on the basis, So it's kind

(22:28):
of you know, it's kind of cool. It's nice. You know,
that's only the only way I could really, you know,
describe it. But as you know, it's always cool. Wrestling
fans are always so humble. So make sure you guys,
you know, drop a comment. And we are super grateful
for each and every one of you guys who joined
to see here daily checks out our shows, all the shows,
all the amazing hosts on this sports network. Make sure
you guys support them as well. You guys obviously do

(22:48):
make a difference. So yeah, sending those comments on our
live chats. Make sure you guys send in those super
chatsend those superstickers, because you guys are super awesome and
together we will make sure this network, this podcast is
the greatest wrestling podcast in the whole entire world. I
should have seen a lot of great wrestling podcasts. I
gotta be honest on you know, I'm a fan of

(23:09):
a fan of a lot of shows. You know, it's
just it's exciting to watch. It's cool, you know what
I mean. All Right, we have WWE NXT Talk first
and foremost. Right off the bat, we got Bailey taking
on Cora Jade. Rox sand Perez comes out with the distraction,
dressing up as the old Bailey with the Bailey buddies
and the you know, the I'm a hugger kind of thing.

(23:29):
I thought that was kind of cool. I like that.
I like that in rock sand Perez, you know, around
me of a young you know, cocky, conceited. You know,
she just wants to rub the fact that Bailey, once
upon a time, what's kind of like this giant babyface
was this babyface that a lot of the ww universe,
you know, they obviously she was like a fan turned
to a superstar, and then that sometimes she kind of

(23:52):
seemed too like Babyface, and I, you know, I definitely
love the way how Bailey got super upset about it
because you know, she knew that Roxan Perez was like,
you know, according to k Fab, never a fan, never
a fan, but she does you know, she was doing
it to Mocker and Bailey out of everybody in the
w WE universe. She definitely wears her emotions on her

(24:13):
on her sleeves, especially when she's trying to cut her promo.
Even when she was a baby face, even when she
was a heel. She was always very easy to read.
Maybe that's the reason why when she first turned heel,
I kind of didn't buy it at first, you know,
but you know, I feel like, as of right now,
it was you know, it did her career a nice
little like due diligence. She needed that to happen. Bailey

(24:34):
needed a you know, a different character. She needed a
whole different, you know, transformation, and vam you got the
role model, you know from from the I'm the Hugger
kind of thing where Bailey was seen as like a
kind of like a Kaylanie Jordan on NXT. So it'd
be interesting to kind of find out maybe Kaylanie Jordan
kind of goes through that same transformation and you know,
she she becomes a hell because right now, the storyline

(24:56):
for Kaylannie Jordan, and I gotta be honest, it's a
little stale, little stead. You see her backstage begging for
a North American Championship, and I think it was JC
Jane who was like, it's like, girl, you already had
your chance. You had your rematch Kaye Lonnie and then
Kilo one right off the best of his life, Well
you haven't you haven't faced this version of Kaylanie, Like
you know what I mean, it seemed a little like

(25:16):
I was kind of like, oh, okay, you know that,
you know, trying to establish a new character in Kaylene
Jordan is definitely definitely a must. I would love to
see your turn here. That'd be so bad ass. She'd
be like, you know, Jada Parker as a as a
as A as a damn it. As opposed to being
an enemy. Maybe she could be like a nice little uh,

(25:39):
you know, like a mentor or something like that, you
know what I mean. Maybe they can go along that storyline,
you know, Jada Parker, you know OTM Right now, I
gotta be honest, it seems I don't think they're going anywhere.
I don't know. Wwe just released a hole of Superstars
and OTM hasn't really been that successful lately. I'm just kidding,

(26:00):
you know. Obviously, I would never ever, like you know,
I would never ever hope that somebody gets released or
anything like that. Absolutely not. But you know, if OTM
wants to stay relevant at WW either there's to be
some kind of different storylines. Maybe, somehow, some way. Jada
Parker is, you know, the new manager of kay Lonnie Jordan,
who wants to see her do good, who wants to like,
you know, I just want to push you on the

(26:22):
edge because I feel like you have not unleaked, unleashed
your your full potential, and I want to help you
do that. And then now you kind of have a
different tag team on the map. You know, you have fire,
you have ice, you have you know, hot and cold.
You have the good cop bad cop, you know, Kay
Lonnie Jordan and Jada Parker. It would be an interesting
formulation of a tag team there that I would definitely be,

(26:44):
you know, cour Jate able to pick up the victory
obviously thanks to the distraction by Rox San Perez Coura
Jaide absolutely, you know. Ever since the whole backstage promo
with roxand Perez, it seemed like fora Jade is definitely
fed up. She's definitely fed up. Was kind of cool
to kind of see her go through that, like, you know, hey,
I'm not your friend anymore, Like you know what I mean,

(27:06):
she's doing work in TEENA right now, she is, and
she's being you know, she's fantastic. Do I think she's
gonna win the NXT you know, championship at Vengeance Date.
I don't think so. I definitely think this is gonna
be a nice way for NXT, for Shawn Michaels to
kind of build up this rivalry that they used to
They used to battle each other back in the day.

(27:27):
I believe cor j Ad and Rock San Perez and
you know, now you kind of see this rivalry reunited
and nice little NXT stand and deliver match kind of
reminds me of like Carmel Ohayes and Trick Williams going
at it. So I would definitely love to see that.
I definitely would love to see card Jaid go at
it with Rox and Perez, both of them NXT's best,

(27:49):
you know, young talented superstars, Rox and Perez. Obviously, she
does have an elimination qualifier match on Monday Night Row
against Racil Rodriguez, But I don't know, I feel like
you can create, you can stem a lot of storylines
from this main event, Fatal for Away for the NXT
Women's World Championship at Vengeance Day, and I don't know, excited,

(28:10):
I'm excited to watch it. Obviously, it's tomorrow. It's tomorrow,
so it's Tomorrow's on Sunday. I gotta double check that.
Next we have Zaria Soul Ruka. It seems like they're
both heading toward a new direction, a new tag team
possibly being formed. It seems like Zaria backstage, you know,
very friendly. You know, she had a match with with

(28:30):
Nikita Lions, big win for Zaria. Nikita was always kind
of viewed as for in you know, for me at least,
you know, she always kind of seemed like she was
like ready to kind of step to that next level. So,
you know, Zaria defeating her the way she did, she
kind of defeated her, you know, pretty pretty soundly, pretty easily,
not really you know, that much scrutiny, not really that

(28:51):
much you know, stress in the victory. But the best
thing about Zaria is that I feel like she is
going to be a major major stars. He's gonna play
a giant role in NXC heading toward the future right now.
I feel like Sean is kind of just you know,
developing Julia, Stephanie Vakare WWE especially NXT going international, and

(29:14):
you know, Zaria, I'm one of the best wrestlers in
the independent wrestling scene, obviously from Australia, you know, being
with so Ruka, I like it. You know, I definitely
love that tag team. I definitely think they could establish
some gold there. And you know, with the Unholy Union,
obviously one half was let go. She was released by
the company. The only one left is Alba Fire. You know,

(29:35):
you gotta you know, once when you take out one
tag team, you got to replace it with another. So
scene Zara and sol Ruka, you know, on NXC would
be pretty badass. And if you think about NXT tag teams,
obviously he saw the disbandment between Cora Jade and Rock
San Perez what we just talked about, you have last legend,
Carl Jackson. I feel like that that action is not
really going anywhere. And I mentioned before maybe you know,

(29:56):
Jada Parker and Kaylani Kailannie Jordan could represent the NX
Tag Team women's division because there's not much. There's definitely
not much. There's fatal influence, but you know, I'm not
I'm not really high on fatal influence. I feel like
Fallon Henley is holding on with that, you know, told
that title by Thread. Is she a transitional champion? I

(30:17):
don't think so. I don't think, you know, because I
feel like she has been with the company. She has
busted her ass, so I feel like, you know, she
definitely deserves a little bit of recognition there, But I
don't know's I feel like the women's tag team division
is just starting to heat up, all right. Next we
have Obafemi comes out to speak. Grayson Waller Austin Theories

(30:37):
seem like they're divided, you know, talking crap to each other.
Pretty hurtful stuff too. Perhaps I feel like it was
too hurtful. You know, there's such thing as, you know,
dropping a nice little promo where you kind of have
it hidden innuendo, like hey, I'm gonna kick your ass too,
But this one was just flat out boom boom boom.
They were like dogging at each other, and I feel
like it is time for a breakup. It is time
for a breakup. I'm not a huge a town down Under.

(31:00):
I've been wanting this breakup for about like two and
a half months. Now. You know, you kind of have
to let Austin Theory go off and do his thing.
I know right now, the transfer portal is closed as
of I think I heard Joe Tessitory say that on SmackDown.
But you know, Grayson Waller going back to NXT seems
like a good move. I'm sorry, I feel like it
is a great move. He I don't really see him

(31:22):
on the Raw, on the Raw roster or the SmackDown roster,
you know, all by himself, because you know, he's kind
of like that face, he's that mouth, he's that mouth.
And I feel like right now on Raw you have
see him punk and then on SmackDown obviously you have
a you know, you have the Miz and now you
Drew McIntyre as well, so you know, they you know,
they talk to talk to cup promos and stuff like that.

(31:44):
So you know, I feel like Grayson Waller should come
back to NXT. I feel like that'd be I feel
like that'd be perfect for him. Next we have Handk
and Tank going up against No Quarter Catch Crew going
to going up against Briggs and Anymoa. I love the
fact that Briggs and Anymore definitely did look like a
nice little tag team. It was a great match. It
was a great match. They got a title shot. They're
gonna take on Nathan Fraser and Axium for those NXT

(32:06):
World Tag Team Championships at Vengeance Day coming up soon.
I can't you know this is gonna be a good match.
I don't know if Briggs and the New mar is
going to be the people to finally dethroned Fraxium, because
they've been champions for quite some time, and once when
you think they're gonna lose them, they went pretty soundly.
They went to TNA, defended up against them brothers, pretty

(32:29):
good against you know, not ABC, the Rascals, the Rascals
and they you know, they they they won pretty soundly too.
So I ultimately thought Fraxum was going to maybe make
their jump to to Monday Night Raw. But you know,
right now you kind of have the war Raiders as
the World Tag team champions, so it's kind of like,

(32:51):
you know, kind of need that same like little, big,
heavy hitting kind of guys. You know, maybe Josh Briggs
and anymore make their way to Raw perhaps, but as
of right now, I feel like, but then again, Fraser
and Actium, I feel like I have beaten everyone so far.
They've beaten everyone so far, and I know there's this
new debuting faction that's gonna that's coming on Vengeance Day.

(33:13):
I don't know how dominant they're gonna be in Maybe
WWE's holding off to kind of put the tag team
titles on them, but I don't know, it's you know,
it's always notice going into a p l E kind
of a kind of a little mind boggled a little bit,
kind of not knowing what's gonna happen, because you know,
if something's too predictable, it's not really it's not really
that fun, you know, So you kind of have to
have that sense of doubt that maybe foreshadow of a

(33:35):
potential potential shocker. So you know, maybe this tag team,
maybe Briggs can do it, Maybe Brigs into Newmark could
do it. Heritage Cup Championship match, we had Lexus King
defeat JDC. As I mentioned before, Zaria defeated Nikita Lyons,
Trick Williams accepts a strap match from Eddie Thorpe. Ricky
Starks is now n x T. We all knew this

(33:58):
was gonna happen. We all knew that he was going
I went to leave, aw He's gonna be released, and
then he was gonna make it onto NXTWWE whenever, whenever
it was time for him to come back, what not
comeback for time for him to make to make a
nice little grand you know, uh entrance that he really
did you know, they didn't really make too much of
a shock factor to it. He literally came out in

(34:20):
the middle of the crowd demanded that he's going to
start a revolution. And I feel like he's a huge
talented star. I feel like he is. But I you know,
I just hope that WWE if they're not trying to
do something with Ricky Starks, because he kind of gives me,
uh and you know, like maybe I could be jumping
the gun here. He kind of reminds you of like
a young rock a young Rocky Mayavia, you know, who

(34:43):
seems like he could you know, a little conceded. But
then again, the fans, you know, they like, they like him,
but they mostly like him because of the the capabilities
he can do inside the ring. So you know, him
potentially being NXC North American Champion could be could be
a nice little start for him. But you know, I

(35:04):
feel like I just don't want w w E to
kind of make him. I don't want to say poppy
because I don't know if that uh, you know, I
don't know if that analogy is gonna resonate with the
with the people watching this show right now, maybe mainstream,
like you know, Ricky Starks, you know, and independent wrestling,
like he's he brings a whole different style to to

(35:25):
w w E, and I hope that they let him
ultimately express himself in that kind of matter because if they,
you know, they cut a mainstream they're like, you're gonna
be the next Like I said, You're gonna be the
next the Rock. And then you know, he's trying to
cut promos that ultimately, like the style that's not really
in his you know, in his arsenal, in his tool
bag and in terms of comfortability and stuff like that,

(35:46):
it's just gonna look really weird. It's gonna look misplaced.
So I don't know. I definitely think he's gonna be great.
I think he's going to be great, and then you
also think, you know, Ricky Starks, He's he's done some
great stuff in the past, so you know, I'm staying hopeful.
I definitely think he you know, he's gonna be big
in WWE, but yeah, should be interesting to kind of
find out what storyline can Then he kicks off first

(36:07):
main events steel cage match. Not much to talk about
that The Dawn was betrayed by Izzy Dame. We have
you know, Sean Spears. I don't want to say Kevin
Jens Brooks Jensen, and I can't remember the other guy's name.
I always forget the other year Niko no no, no,
no no, then we're gonna try no. So now you
kind of have their factions starting off. Definitely a nice little,

(36:30):
nice little match. They would have been cool to kind
of have that, like a nice little four on four
match at Vengeance Day because it is technically let's get vengeance,
but it might be at a you know, it definitely
might be heading toward you know, stand and delivered. That'd
be a nice little, nice little match there, nice little
you know, maybe a main events that'd be pretty bad ass.
All right, without further ado, let's talk about a third Segree.

(36:51):
We got the Undertaker right now on the hot seat
based on some comments he made during an interview with
Boullie Ray on the Busted Open podcast. We're gonna dig
into that when we come back. So grab your favorite snack,
grab your favorite high school beverage to join me here
in about twenty five seconds. So hey, do not go anywhere.

so without further Ado. We have the Undertaker, the dead Man,

(39:38):
Mark Callaway under high scrutiny on the hot seat, on
the hot seat right now, based on some comments he
made during an interview with Bully Ray on the Busted
Open podcast. Obviously, this all kind of stemmed from Vince McMahon,
Shane McMahon and the WWE legend. You know, a rare
public appearance by Vince McMahon, but they respot I did

(40:00):
at Super Bowl fifty nine obviously, watching the Kansas City
Chiefs get their arses kicked by the Philadelphia Eagles. But
you know, the main, you know, the main thing around
this obviously, you know, we haven't seen Vince McMahon since
he stepped down from TKO and w w E after
the horrific allegations of sex trafficking as well as allegations

(40:21):
of the obviously in the past with like hush money
and you know, ring boys and all this other stuff,
like just a lot of negative public relations right there.
And you know, during an appearance at the on the
Busted Open Radio, the Odtaker defended Vince smickmanhnon his love
for Vince mickmahon. He said this and a quote he
gave me an opportunity to make something of my life,

(40:42):
which he did what he did, but overall, you know,
that opportunity then you know, you could ultimately, you know,
at that point you got the opportunity and you kind
of did it yourself, you know. And then he went
on to say we became very close friends after my
father passed away. He was a father figure, he was
a brother, he was a mental tour always treated in
my family with the utmost respect, you know. And obviously

(41:06):
I feel like, how could I put this? You know,
you kind of have a dichotomist like nature. You know,
it feels like the undertaker right now is you know,
like I said earlier, like I feel like he did
oh you know, he did get you know, sometimes you
do talk. Sometimes you do talk, you get you catch
your foot in your mouth, and right now I feel like,

(41:29):
more or less, like I mentioned, he's just a little acting,
a little insensitive towards some of the people who were
victims of the allegations, people who have been victims of
like you know of you know, sexual assault and stuff
like that, you know, obviously not related to Vistagram, just
talking you know, about life in general. But you know,
I you know, I definitely get the fact that he

(41:50):
was a father figure to you, and I definitely know
that he will probably never ever see vincagram in like
a negative you know image, and you know, kudos to
you man, kudos to you. But overall, like if you
you know, based on the stuff that he continues to say,
I gotta be honest, it was a little you know
for that for that when I read that first pot,
I was like, you know what, it seemed like he
was just trying to do right by vincewick Man. You know,

(42:12):
he wasn't necessarily trying to, you know, be on the
wrong side there where he would be forced to slander
his friend's name. But the Undertaker then claimed that he
had no idea what was going on, and like, if
you're as close as you, you know, as you claim
you guys were, there could possibly be like maybe he
turned a blind eye to all the stuff that was

(42:34):
going on backstage in w W E. You know, one
of those things where I was like, you know what,
and you know, I got people do it all the time.
People do it not like that all the time. I'm
talking about different circumstances. Sometimes you go to work, sometimes
you see something funky happening, and you're like, you know
what the right thing to do would be, like, you know,
tell somebody about it, you know, confront him, you know,
you know, alert higher ups that this is happening. But

(42:56):
back then in w WE, you know, it was, it was.
It was like a natural thing, and you know, doesn't
make it okay, It doesn't make it okay. But the
Undertaker probably had the mentality that was like, you know what,
I'm gonna go in the ring, go out there, do
my thing. I'm gonna be a good employee. I'm gonna
listen to my boss, and you know what's happening over there,
neither here nor there. You know, I'm not gonna get

(43:17):
I'm not gonna consume myself into that because they could
ultimately reflect negatively, negatively on my public image, on the
story that I'm trying to create. What she did. He was,
you know, he's the Undertaker. You know, he had a
tremendous WrestleMania you know record, So he's like, you know what,
I'm not gonna f with that knocking up with that
that's happening over there. And you know, it's one of
those things where sometimes if you see something you should definitely,

(43:39):
you know, tell somebody. But but on the other hand,
I guess I can kind of be like, Okay, I
guess I understand he didn't want to get into it.
He you know, he's your friend, he's your mentor, he's
he's a father figure to you. So you know, you're
not gonna tell him what's what. You're just gonna be
there for a friend when it all goes to crap
and he winds up in the court case then and then, yeah,

(44:00):
he could be there for him. You know that happens,
you know what I mean, But I don't know. Then
he continues to say, there's only one judge obviously, you know,
talking about you know, the man upstairs, you know, so
you know, people should get off their high horse. I
was like, whoa when I read that. The undertakers, you know.
And then he said, you don't have to like me.
I don't give a Chataki mushrooms, basically what you guys

(44:24):
have to say, you know. I feel like at that
point he I feel like, maybe he doesn't want to
accept it. Maybe I'm trying to you know, maybe I'm
trying to defend taker a little bit here. Maybe he
feels like, you know, the allegations were untrue. Maybe Vince
McMahon told him they were untrue, and maybe he you know,
maybe he bought it, you know what I mean, Like,

(44:45):
like you mentioned in an interview, he you know, Trent
Vince McMahon treated his family with the most you know,
with the utmost respect, and so oh, he would never
do that kind of thing. He would never ever do
those kind of things, which which ultimately he did. But well, allegations,
you know, and and whatnot. But you know, just to
kind of go off and say people need to get
off their high horse, like it's just it's crazy. You know, yeah,

(45:08):
I get it, everybody makes mistakes, and but you I
feel like the Undertaker was kind of categorizing criminals or
trying to categorize people who were who had allegations and
just be like, oh, well, you know, it's up for
God to judge and stuff like that, you know what
I mean. And you know, usually that's a nice little argument.
But at the same time, not a lot of people,
you know, it's not it's not that he can't compare

(45:29):
apples to oranges here. You know, what he did was terrible,
Like it was pretty damn bad, dude, Like I don't know,
like I get like, I don't know. He was trying
to throw Vincento the category people, Hey, people make mistakes, man,
people make mistakes. But it's not like the vinced it
like it's crazy. Then he went on to say, you know,
people in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones, like I said, kind

(45:51):
of kind of a stowing at you know, people they
have you know, bad backgrounds too. People do wrong things too.
Why should Vince be treated differently? And I don't know,
it's just, like I said, very insensitive, a little a
little wonky, you know, I don't know. I don't know
what's going on with Taker, but I think, you know,
I don't know. He also had you know, he's also

(46:11):
had a guest on his podcasts that were, you know,
kind of controversial to people. I feel like the Undertaker
definitely his time outside of w W Right now, I
feel like he's just kind of saying, you know, f it.
You know, I'm fully retired. I'm not going to make
any ring return, so I'm just gonna kind of go
kind of go Haywire a little bit. I know what
got well, I don't know him, but there's a guy
that did that and his name's hul Kogan, and then

(46:34):
he came to the Netflix on Raw and then he
got bood the hell out of I don't think that
would ever happen to take her. I don't think that
would ever happen to the Undertaker. I don't think his
legacy is in jeopardy. You know, It's one of those
things where it's like I go to work, I do
my work. I'man I put on entertainment for all the fans,
all the wrestling universe out there. But you don't necessarily

(46:57):
have to like me. You as a person, you just
got to respect you know, what I've done for you know,
for the people, what I've done for the company. But
you know, as of you know, with this new day
and age of digital media, essentially you're kind of like
your own public relations representative. The things you say on media.
You know, there's there's Twitter, slash X, there's you know,

(47:18):
there's Instagram. There's a lot of different platforms that people
could definitely see this as an opportunity to be like, damn,
what's wrong with the Undertaker? Why is he saying stuff
like that? Why does it seem like he's not acting?
Why does it seem like he's not respecting or he's
not being not sincere, he's not being he's not being
sensitive toward this kind of these kind of allegations, and

(47:40):
it's just, you know, I like what, like, I get it,
I get it, you know, father figure, mentor friend all that.
Very controversial, very controversial. But I don't know, I you know,
I feel like maybe somehow, some way, the Undertaker will
ultimately clean this up and be like, you know, I
didn't mean it like this, I mean like that, So

(48:01):
you know, I still you know, I still love the Undertaker.
I you know, I definitely one of my favorite WWE
superstars of all time. Not really you know, not really
a fancy on that hot take he dropped, but yeah,
I don't know, he's kind of going on his own
little wavelength there. Man. Obviously, his wife, Michelle McCool was
inducted to be in the Hall of Fame in twenty

(48:22):
twenty five. She's a two time women's champion, and she's
a two time and the first ever women's you know, Diva,
it's sorry, excuse me, Diva's champion. So congratulations to Michelle McCool.
The Undertaker, my man, if you're ever gonna watch this,
and I doubt you will. But but you know, just
I guess, uh, you know, put yourself into other people's shoes.
I guess that's for that. That's the overall moral of

(48:44):
this story. You know, That's the best I can come
up with him. Sorry, Moving on, we have Samantha Irving
dropping a new single. Today is Valentine's Day. Hopefully you guys,
are you know, gonna treat your special someone to a
nice little dinner. Maybe you got got them flowers or
chocolate or maybe you know, the women got the men,
you know, tickets to go see the weekend or so.

(49:06):
I'm just kidding, know, I don't know, you know now,
I don't really know nowadays what men really want on
Valentine's Day. I don't think I've gotten Valentine's Day gift
in a long time, to be brutally honest. But we're
gonna find out. Samantha irvings Irvin Irvin Irving's gift to
the world to drop the new single with her amazing voice,
and we're going to talk about it when we come back.
So hey, do not go absolutely anywhere.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
Oh right, we're back with the GSMC Wrestling Laureate Podcast,
brought to you with the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your
favorite wrestling fan here, Eric Rodriguez, every Monday night, eight pm,
Seven Time eleven pm Eastern Time, live to talk about
the greatest thing of the world, professional wrestling, all the
GSMC Sports Network. So make sure you guys smash that
like a subscribe button to the show. Make sure you

(50:31):
guys check frequently check out some videos I love just
from wrestling videos throughout the week. And yeah, so we
can talk about the greatest thing in the world, professional wrestling,
all right. So, without a doubt, we're gonna do, without
a matter, without a shadow of a doubt, we're gonna
talk about some Atha Irving dropping a new single. Obviously,
she's been off of WWE for quite some time to
pursue her you know, her musical career. She claimed in

(50:53):
an interview that she kind of, you know, one of
those things where she kind of feel like, you know,
she felt like she got like stuck. You know, they're like, hey,
can you do this? And then something just like fits
like a shoe. But I thought it was pretty great,
you know. She it feels like she left WWE unexpectedly.
You know, uh, you saw her fiance, Ricochet, you know,
whose talent was wasting a WWE. So you can't really

(51:13):
blame Ricochet for you know, wanting a different opportunity at
you know, in ae W. But it's just crazy how
somebody that talent is. She never wanted to be a
ring announcer. She wanted to be a manager or a
wrestling superstar herself. You know, she was spotted backstage at
AEW Dynamite last week. I feel like if she would,
maybe maybe Tony will give her a shot as a wrestler.

(51:36):
Why not in a women's division that I feel like,
I feel like it'd be perfect for her. You know,
you kind of need a young she can work as
a rising star in a women's division that needs to
be a you know, kind of refurbished a division that
sins Mercedes Montue in her dominant debut. You know, even
according to fans, you know, they kind of seem they
kind of seen a ripple in the ae W women's division.

(51:56):
Maybe just being a nice little you know, Fresham, that's
a little fresh hot take on that Mercedes Monette. Obviously,
you know, she gets the big matches and then you
know she gets all the TV time, all the money,
and of course all the gold. And would Samantha ever
contend with the women's division on ae W right now?
Doesn't really seem likely, you know, but she could definitely

(52:19):
give it a shot.

Speaker 4 (52:20):
You know.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
Do you have you know, the CML, you have Ring
of Honor, you have nutriment professional wrestling, and then you know, aw,
obviously you could definitely start you can definitely start small,
you start fresh. You know. I feel like right now Ricochet,
he wasn't he's not being a part of the Hurt
business just yet. But maybe he comes out as this
like singles like entity and maybe he needs a manager.

(52:41):
And maybe that's where Samantha Irving will you know, ultimately
come in to kind of you know, protect her husband
at all costs, you know, help him win. Kind of
like what Stephanie McMahon did with during the Triple Ah,
you know, Mcmahonhelm's leer and stuff like that. That would
be an interesting storyline, that would be pretty damn interesting.
But you know, seeing her within the wrestling ring again
would be pretty pretty bad ass. Her musical, her music

(53:04):
career was basically the ultimate decision while she left. Also,
the traveling issues and stuff like that with you know,
with her family is always you know, it's always hard
for wrestlers. It's crazy. Irving recently sat with Jordan Mendoza
of the USA today and Yeah, she feeling like her
music career slipped through her fingers because of her commitment

(53:27):
to h to ring announcing. And you know, you can
create a lot of animosity, you have a lot of
built up what is it now? What's the right word?

Speaker 3 (53:36):
God?

Speaker 2 (53:36):
I can't think of her right now. You kind of
have built up anger because you didn't get to accomplish
something you you could have based on like, you know,
I gotta have a job. You know, right now, this works,
this works. You know, she could definitely, you know, regret
ever taking that decision of being you know, of being
an announcer. But you know, I definitely thought she did

(53:58):
a pretty damn good job at it, and yeah, she
had this to say. She said it, I quote, people
stopped calling me for singing gigs and now they're asking
me just to announce everything. She was like, oh no,
I took it too far, and she did, but I
feel like she was awesome at it. You know, Irving
guarantees that she will be back in professional wrestling. She

(54:19):
said this my career, my wrestling career has barely begun.
It'll be a complete waste of time. I agree with that.
That that of all I've done so far, not to
continue the story. I kind of like how she said that,
and she was like, I gotta finish my story, you know,
kind of alluding to the you know, Cody Roads and
finishing the story. I feel like that was pretty That

(54:40):
was pretty badass. And like I mentioned before, you know,
Irving could definitely be an asset to Tony Kahan partnership
with Ty Turner. She can be you know, she can
be an actor. She could definitely be an actor. Right now,
hip hop and R and B stars they're not just
but focused on their musical career. They have they make
their jump into feature during the entertainment industry. You know,

(55:04):
doing shows and you see you know, Sexy Red on
WWE Monday Night Ross. Sometimes you see Rihanna in movies,
Beyonce as well. You have a lot of possibilities that
she could definitely do in terms of you know, with
the partnership with Ted Turner, you know you have the NBA.
You know she could possibly be you know maybe, but
she says she doesn't want to announce, So yeah, I

(55:26):
would see it like an NBA, like sideline announcer, NFL,
Major League Baseball. You know, they'd be pretty badass. But yeah,
her Valentine's Day release, She's released make Make Me, Make Me, Yeah,
make Me, her first musical release since twenty twenty classic
R and B vibe. I gotta be honest, I had
to give it a listen. I give it anice to

(55:47):
a preview. You know. I love the rhyme. I love
the repetition of it, but it does kind of sound
I'm not trying to be jerk, you know, to be honest,
you shouldn't, you know, but I'm not a huge chip
hop and R and B. Oh, you know I do
you know, if it has the right little smooth message
to it, I like it. I just don't like nonsense,

(56:07):
you know, techno, like you know, just to like be
like like, you know, I'm just kidding, moving on. But
it kind of seems a little early times, you know,
and I see what she's trying to ultimately kind of
a kind of emulate. I see, like a nice little
style of like Mariah Carey, kind of like a young
you know, Whitney Houston kind of thing. You know, you
get the vibe, you get the you get the mojo going.

(56:29):
And then, like I said, a lot of the rhyming's good,
the rhyming's good, the you know, the lyrics seem like
it could be a little repetitive, but sometimes that could
be a good thing. I feel like right now hip
hop and R and B, and I know I might
get a lot of scrutiny about this. I feel like
right now it's kind of dead, not like dead dead,
because I feel like hip hop right now. You know,
you have you have, like I said, Beyonce, you have

(56:51):
you know, not really well, you kind of have Beyonce
right now, we have I Spy, Sexy Red, you know,
the Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, whatever. And then back then
you kind of like Mary J. Blige, you know, you
you had Mariah Carey, you know, you had all these
amazing R and B singers that not a lot of
people kind of appreciate nowadays. I feel like it's ultimately

(57:11):
kind of too elegant for this generation of music. And
I'm not trying to sound mean whatsoever. Definitely not trying
to sound you know, trying not trying to sound mean.
I feel like, ultimately, right now, in this day and age,
the people what people look up to in terms of,
you know, what you want an entertainer to be. I
feel like right now they want women with like, you know,

(57:32):
they want them to have this like, you know, this
attitude and you know, like an attitude era of the
hip hop and R and B. But no, and it's good,
it's all great, but the attitude and the music where
you know, they you know, they will look look up
hip hop and R and B today, like look at
you know, rap stars and stuff like that. Go in
and type in Spotify like let me see, let me

(57:53):
hear a playlist of some rap like things that are
very popular during this day and age, during this generation
dive in terms of music, I feel like it's not
I don't know, I just don't feel like it's the
perfect It's not really how do I say this without
sounding mean? Damn it? I feel like R and B

(58:15):
right now, the way she wants to sing it, it
has too much soul. I guess you could say it
has too much soul. It's too elegant for people who
you know. I feel like right now, this generation doesn't
appreciate it. I definitely could be wrong, like I said,
it could be wrong, but obviously this is my opinion
one thousand and ten percent. But and I feel like
she could take off her music career, but like Solamente,

(58:37):
like relying on it. I've you know, like I'm not
trying to downplay the talent or anything like that. I
think she's gifted. I think she's amazing, But right now,
the musical career, like it's it's hard to make it
any music, man, It's hard. It's really really hard. Like
you have all of this, you have all this, you have,
you know, you have the face to do it, you
have the personality. You know, obviously she has a beautiful voice,

(58:59):
but sometimes you know, everything can click, but you know,
sometimes the car won't start, you know, and you know,
getting into something like R and B, like smooth music,
like like I listened to her single today to make
Me and you know, I liked it. I thought it
was cool, but I ultimately feel like maybe it's a
little bit too too elegant, too slow for this day
and age of you know, of gen z Ors. I'm

(59:22):
just kidding, know, I don't want to be that guy,
but you know, would be interesting to see Smath to
come back to professional wrestling, and maybe we will get
a revamp of hip hop and R and B. Maybe
it just takes one person, takes one person to start
that R and B revolution. It is going to be
Samantha Irving. Well, I hope, so that'd be pretty cool.
All right, Moving on to our fifth and final segment,

(59:44):
we're going to talk about women's evolution too in the making.
We're gonna talk about that when we come back to
grab your favorite tonight, grabyferred high school beverage. You join
me here. In about twenty seconds of Hey do you
not go anywhere? S s S say, Oh, we're on

(01:01:11):
a We're back of the GSMC Wrestling Laureate podcast, brought
to the GSMC Sports Network. I'm your favorite wrestling fan here,
Eric Rodriguez. Every Monday night, a pm ten eleven pm
Eastern Time on the GSMC Sports Networks. So make sure
you guys come and check out the best wrestling podcast
in the biz. I'm just kidding. No, well, no, it's good,
it's good. I just don't want to come off as
a you know, super cocky here, because there's also there's

(01:01:33):
a lot of good wrestling you know streamers out there.
It's you know, a pretty bad asking and kind of
pay your respects. But yeah, it's going to move on
to our next segment. We got WWE possibly starting a
woman's evolution too. I feel like it would be great. Absolutely,
you have all the talent right now. Basically this is
the best generation of women's wrestling. I'm not trying to

(01:01:53):
sound like I don't appreciate you know, the the early
you know women's wrestling or the divas you know era
as well, but I just I don't know, I feel
like right now it would be a perfect time to
just it would be a huge, star studied pay per view.
I personally think it'd be nice to kind of start
it off in you know, it'd be kind of cool
to have it sometime in maybe after because you do

(01:02:17):
have Summer Slam, and then you do have Survivor Series,
so that's August and November. Maybe there's a little slot
right there where you could possibly you know, fit it
in maybe in September. But you know, this could be
a pay per view all by itself. This does not
necessarily mean that the women aren't in a fight on
other pls. You know, be having a women's evolution too,
so they can showcase all the young talented women in

(01:02:40):
WWE would be I feel like it'd be spectacular. I
definitely think one thousand and ten percent, you know, we
had the WWE Evolution. The first one ever ultimately took
place October twenty eighth of twenty eighteen, which featured a
match card of seven with Ronda Rousey defeating Nikki Bella
for the Raw Women's Championship, which I wasn't a huge
fan of. I was definitely not a huge fan of.

(01:03:01):
But they weren't you know, Ronda wasn't going to drop
the bell you know, to you know, to a part
timer as of right now. She was a part timer
back in twenty eighteen as of Nicki Bella. But during
that match, he saw just Nicki Bella being flung around
a lot, you know, mostly alluding to the fact that
I feel like Ronda Rowsey she's talented. Yeah, I'd agree
that one thousand and ten percent, But I feel like

(01:03:21):
she was to UFC for the WWE, if that makes sense.
But then again, that could have been you know, w
w E swallow as well. Ronda Rowsey claimed in an
interview that when it came to back then, when it
came to WWE prepping for women's matches, you know, it
was basically like, you know, five minutes and done when
they would give them in like you know, ten twenty
minutes and then you know, kind of think of it thoroughly.

(01:03:43):
But Ronda Rowsey definitely should have started like some time
in NXT. But you know, I guess, you know, I
understand what Vince and Triple H was ultimately trying to
do with Ronda Rowsei. She was a huge face in
the UFC. Obviously she kicked ass. She's won you know,
the Women's Championship there before. You know, her coming back
to ww was was a huge bomb show. Obviously, the

(01:04:04):
fans didn't really buy it a little later, she kind
of fell off a little bit with the fans there.
They didn't really want to accept Ronda Rousey, but you know,
I don't know. I feel like, like I said before,
there's so much talented young women in the WWE right now,
and now we have seven women's titles that could be
defended at this pl you know, we can have somebody

(01:04:25):
taking on obviously, you know, Tiffany Stratton. This would be
like a whatever. This would be like a WrestleMania caliber,
you know event for the women. That'd be pretty bad ass,
you know, and it would just be good for overall
like wrestling. You know, just imagine like a like a
women's WrestleMania. I feel at this point, you know, they
deserve their ultimately overall own pl E here because if not,

(01:04:47):
like I feel like, if you weren't going to continue
it or maybe have the possibility, or if you weren't
thinking about having a women's evolution too, why would you
even have the first one? You know, be kind of
just like, oh, you know, we gave them their own
pay per view because we appreciate we we love women
now and then now it's kind of like on the
other side of the coin where you're like, oh, you
really love women in your you know and your you know,

(01:05:09):
you gave them their own pl like seems a little
bonk here. I'm just kidding, no, but I don't know,
I feel like it'd be kind of cool to kind
of keep it going. Like I said, it'd be like
a nice little yearly thing where the WWE Women's Championship
would be defended, the Tag Team Women's Championships would be defended,
like everybody just defends their time. That would be bad ass.
Even NX would get in the mix. We'd have Julia,

(01:05:31):
the NXT World Champion, take on somebody. We'd of course
have the United States Championship as of right now being
held by Chelsea Green. We'd have the Women's World Heavyweight
Championship held by Riga Ripley. We'd have Fallon Henley as
of right now, I'm not loving her chances Againstephanie for
care coming this weekend. But you know, we'd have the

(01:05:52):
women's North American Championship. We would just have championships, the
women's doing a continental championship as well, and just think
about it, like you can have like a nice little tournament,
you know, where you kind of get all the young
rising stars from w w E, n I L from
w w E I d from Evolve. Also, you can
have some people from the LFG. You know, it'd be

(01:06:12):
nice little you know, and the finals would be held
and then the winner of that match would get a
you know, would get as I think the NXT, I
don't think they would ever make. It'd be kind of
stupid if they made a jump to Ron SmackDown right away.
But they'd come to NXC. You know, they'd get a
contract right then and there you know, a nice little uh,
you know, have a nice little you know, accomplishment medal

(01:06:32):
or trophy or however you want to do it. But
I feel it gonna be pretty bad ass. I would
love to see that. That'd be super damn cool. So
so yeah, Bailey, obviously she had something to say. She
mentioned it in an interview. She said this, and I quote,
we have more girls now, more than ever. We can
have a freaking back to back two night show kind

(01:06:54):
of like if we wanted to, like a wrestle Menia
stuff like that. She also said this, there are so
many girls, MANI at NXT. We got this TNA partnership
and we got two new titles, which she's not wround about.
You know, we had WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling kind
of merge a little bit. And you know, we can

(01:07:14):
also see the Knockouts Championship be defended there too, you know,
and we can also have the Knockouts Tag Team Championships
be you know, defended. All in all, I feel like
it'd be a great spot to have another woman's evolution too,
where you would, like I said before, like a huge
spectacle like a wrestle Mania caliber, a wrestle Media caliber

(01:07:35):
pay per view like a plee would be would be
pretty badass. You know, a lot of gifted individuals, a lot,
you know, and then you can also bring in some legends.
You can bring in like a nice little you know, nostalgia.
Maybe Tristratus comes back to wrestle for a little bit,
Maybe the Bella Twins make their way back to WWE
to challenge for those Women's World Tag Team Championships. Maybe

(01:07:57):
you can have you know, a nice little you know,
just states, just some pay per view to appreciate all
the women because as of right now, they they made
one and you know, it was back in twenty eighteen.
Like I said before, if you're gonna do just have one,
you know, paper we'd be like, oh, cool. You know,
I appreciate the women. I feel like, you got to
you gotta keep it going, man, you gotta keep it going.
This could be like a nice little yearly thing. Appreciate

(01:08:20):
the women now. I'm not saying that they don't in
WWE as of right now. As of right now, I
definitely feel like, you know, once when Triple H and
Chawn took over, they are starting to invest in a
lot more talented women. Because the women's wrestling back in
the day, it's always been a second thought. It's always
been a second thought on the match card. You'd get
maybe like if they're lucky, you know, five minutes, a

(01:08:43):
nice little seven minute match. But now it seems like
their main stage. Now, it seems like their main events now.
They seem like part of the reason why people watch
professional wrestling at this moment, especially why you sometimes, you know,
most of the time people tune it NXT NXT, the
women's division rocks there and they anchor the whole entire show.
There's more women's matches than men's matches. Obviously not the

(01:09:04):
case right now on SmackDown or on Monday Night Raw,
but I'd like it. I would definitely love to see
like a women's evolution thing with all the titles be
which thing. Would never do that with all those titles
I mentioned with the finalist between the tournament, that would
be a total of ten matches. That'd be a total
ten matches, which is not ideal. I get it, you

(01:09:27):
know what I mean. But it'd be so freaking cool, man,
I would love it. I feel like it'd be proud.
I'm pretty bad ass. Definitely gonna throw some throw some
respect toward Bailey there, who's gonna be at the NBA
Celebrity Game and hopefully should be dropping threes man like
herietle stuff. Creat it'd be pretty bad ass. All right, guys,

(01:09:47):
