Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, everyone, and welcome to a live episode of Hack
the Movies. We got a very special episode today talking
about a classic, and if we're going to talk about Reanimator,
we need the reanimated nerd herself, Sarah to come here.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Hello Sarah, Hello, I'm so excited to be back on here, guys.
I got my syringe full of reagent, and I am
dressed like Herbert Rest himself, and I am so excited.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You got a nice you got nice cinematic lighting and
a Dutch angle there. You went all out for that.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
And everything.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I'm sorry, we'll talk about it later. You forgot to
put lights behind your cabinets. It's very important, reanimator. You
have to have lights behind your cat. Impractical lights behind
the cabinets. It's very important Reanimator, I.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Know, but they're so there is Yeah, you're right there,
impractical and you've got dust and all that, so you
are so correct.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
But yes, re Animator turned forty this week. This has
been on our list for a while. We had two
movies we were supposed to do in October, but we
forgot to plan a trip for you, so we're not
doing Rocky Carr's fiftieth anniversary we'll save that for another time.

And today we put up the latest episode of Blade Boys.

(02:00):
Look at that face. You probably want to know what
the story is behind that face.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Well, I'm itching to find out.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well, don't watch the Blade TV series. You'll be horribly bored.
But watch our episode of our show where we covered
the Blade TV series that just went out today, and
I think you guys are gonna like it. And yeah,
today we're gonna talk about Reanimator real quick, Sarah, I
feel like you might like re Animator more than me.
When did you discover re Animator?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Oh my goodness, I discovered it through a nightly search
through Tob. I yeah, God, bless to be right, love toob.
I think I was probably indulging in either you know,
you know something anyway, so we you know, nightley binge

(02:49):
on Toob right and I and I came across re
Animator and I was like this, I see, you know,
love crafty and horror and see a lot of greens,
very Suspiria esque. I want to watch this. So I
watched it and I fell in love with it ever since.
So that is how I discovered it. Was probably a
few years ago.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, this is one I thank God for to me.
Like you said, I always heard about this growing up,
and like in my teens when I was really into
horror and getting into the internet, I kept seeing all
these like images of it. Can never find it in
video stores. I honestly, I think if I remember right,

(03:28):
I think I might have watched Beyond re Animator first
on the side. Yeah, there you go, because it played
on the Sci Fi channel. I don't remember a goddamn
thing about it.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
It was filmed in like Mexico. I think it was
like super.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, one day I'll rewatch it. Today is not that day.
But eventually before toob we had cable, and premium cable
usually had some pretty good horror movies at night, and
one night I was blessed and I got to watch Reanimator.
Loved it, fucking loved it. I got the I got

(04:01):
the Anchor Bay DVD, which is like hard, I know
I can. I couldn't find any high resis of this cover.
I wanted it for the thumb though.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
This beautiful pain of cover that cover is really cool.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, it just got really really into it, got into
Stuart Gordon's other films like Castle Freak and From Beyond.
Actually From Beyond I actually saw From Beyond first because
my grandfather had it on VHS. Uh, so that was
my kind of first exposure to Stuart Gordon outside of Honey.
I shrunk the kids kind of, but we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I always forget that.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Yeah, isn't it weird? Weird? It's like, oh, right, Stuart
Gordon is kind of involved with Honey. I shrunk.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, I ended up being real into it. I got
my friend Anthony super into it.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
He actually made this little bottle of reagent. Uh he
loved he loved re Animator, and uh yeah, I would
eventually check out the sequel, Bride of re Animator. You're
gonna have to rewatch, but maybe early hot take. I
think I might like it more. But we'll say that
for another day. And I really really liked it, and uh,
we'll talk about the Animator or some other point. But

(05:15):
really really liked this franchise. And this of course comes
from HP Lovecraft. He did a series of stories called
Herbert West Reanimator in the magazine Weird Tales. I actually
just listened to it yesterday. Collection and audiobook collection of it.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
How'd you like it?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I liked it. Apparently HP Lovecraft wasn't even super into them.
He was just kind of no, he didn't.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
He did. He kind of did it for the money.
He wrote it just for the money. And he hates
how fun the movie is.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
He wait, he got to see the movie, HP love Well.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I mean he I mean, sorry, excuse me. He doesn't
hate help on the movie. I mean he hates help
on the story is sorry, not howp on the movie
is wait.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Was he alive with the Oh okay, I was gonna
say it like I'm pretty sad.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Story like he just wrote it for like the money.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
That's okay.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, uh, the story is pretty funny because it literally
is Herbert West's roommate. It's just a bunch of snippets
of his roommate going like holy because when Herbert did
this week, he brought another body back to life and
then he killed it and yeah, it's just it's just
his roommate being like you wouldn't believe it. He did

(06:27):
it by like the fourth or fifth time. It's like, yeah, HP,
it's it's not a surprise when it happened the fifth time,
and it's times like the body came back to life.
Yeah we know you. Also, uh, he has some words
about Italians, calling them hysterical and superstitious.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Well you know, HP Lovecraft has said a lot of
interesting things.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
So yeah, yeah, what was his cat's name? Again? Knew
what are you talking about? I just I thought he
had a cat.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
It was what it was either gonna be you or me,
But one of us was gonna say it.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
One of us, I I want to say, none of
us are gonna say HP Lovecraft's cat's name. Not even
if you superchat in no, well, you will say other
things if you leave super chats within reason, leave a
super chat, I'll say anything other than HP Lovecraft's cat's name.
I will not be saying that. But I had fun.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Money goes to Tony, so I won't be saying anything.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I had fun listening to the story. It's I mean,
it's very different than the movie. Obviously, it takes place
long ago, like during World War One. It really is
just his partner being like, wow, crazy and then he's
like and then they killed him at the end and
ripped his head off and everyone thinks I'm crazy now
and that's the end of the story. Awesome. So Stuart

(07:50):
Gordon apparently was having a conversation with people about vampires
and he's like, it's too many Dracula movies. There should
be more Frankenstein's. And someone brought the book Reanimator to
his attention and he was like, yeah, I think I
can make this into something. He wanted to do it
as a stage play, I believe.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, and it did eventually become a musical.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yes, which I actually really want to check out. I
actually want to check that out.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
I love to see it.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I mean, I finally saw the goddamn Evil Dead musical
last year.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
There's a production in Orlando that's going on, and I
want to see if I can catch it before it finishes,
because it's I think we've seen it three times.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Crystal just saw Evil Dead in Florida where she lives.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
He'srobably saw the one that I've been seeing.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, I want to see that. So he wanted to
do a stage play, and I think he wanted to
do it as a TV show, and Brian Yanza convinced
him it had to be a movie. And of course
Brian ended up seeing a bunch of other films and
directed the sequels. So yeah, they ended up making this movie.
And then Charles Band got involved. He was just going

(08:55):
to distribute it, but I guess he liked it enough
that he ended up funding the movie too, and then
he end up going on to help with like Castle
Freak and whatnot.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
And is Richard Band and Charles Band related?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Uh? You know what?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Because because because Richard Band does the music, he does
the score.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Are they like, I'm gonna look it up, they look
a lot of like yes siblings, Charles Band. Yeah, and
that's not how I don't know if that's how that worked.
Buzzards and they got a yeah, and they got a
nice young cast of Bruce Abbot, Barbara Crampton, and Jeffrey Combs. Uh,

(09:39):
which which one of you? Which?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
One? Three? Three? That's for all three? All three? Man
long man?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
You got you got prime Barbara Crampton in this band.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, she's oh yeah, she's still in
her prime now.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Abby also known as not Elias Codius because they look
exactly so I just got months back, I got the
Prophecy Blu Ray trilogy, and I didn't I had no
idea that they recasted Elias Codius with Bruce Abbott because
they look exactly alike. And I just like, oh, well

(10:21):
he grew a beer between movies and I looked it up, like, nope,
that's the guy from re Animator. They look Apparently Jeffrey
Comes just took this one for the money. He didn't
think it was gonna be a big thing, and of
course it ended up being a gi thing. Oh he's great. Actually, no,
I forgot included in the slide show. But that show Gotham,

(10:41):
the Batman prequel, there was like yeah, he's he's done that.
But there was like a weird season where U Jada
Pinkett Smith washes up on an island with a mad
scientist who's doing experiments, and I think Jeffrey Combs is
in there, but he ends up becoming one of the
experiments stitched together. Other I got a backpack this to

(11:01):
make sure I'm not talking out of my ass. Hold on,
hold on, Jeffrey Combs, Gotham. Yes, it was him. Do
I have a picture of him as the experiment? No,
I can't find it, but yeah, they stitch his body
and stuff together. I'm like, that is a funny wake
and a nod to reanimator.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Yeah, that's dope. Yeah, he was in another movie. I
don't know why I said this because I don't know
the name of the movie, so I don't.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah, Sarah, don't you know this. He was in a
lot of movies. Oh, I found an image. Hold on,
hold on, I found an image of Jeffrey Combs with
lady's arms stitch to him. Hold on, hold on, nice, Uh,
where's the goddamn there? There we go. That's him, been
Goffa' stitch together, I think to a black guy and

(11:52):
a white ladies are, oh, say, have this youthful cast.
And then they got the star of the film as
far as I'm concerned, David Gale as the antagonist whose
name I'm blanking on.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Sorry, doctor Hill, Doctor Hill, Yeah, doctor Carl Hill, who
is just the standout of this film name.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
His character is insane.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yes, skipping ahead. When I put the fucking sequel on
and saw that he came back, I went out perfect.
So yeah, let's let's get into this wonderful film. And
but again, please send super chats and we will read them.
And if you're a ten dollar patron, you get to
be on the show later on. I see someone in

(12:44):
the backstage right now.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
So we open up on Universitat Zurich Institute for Medicine.
That's my that's my accent. Here, a bunch of screams,
and these guys are like, what's going on in this
room here? And we find Herbert West in front of
another professor who is screaming and freaking out and his

(13:08):
eyes explode. Yes, And I did not include the picture
of his eyes exploding for obvious reasons, so right away,
and I like that Herbert West is horrified by it.
This must have been the first time he did it.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I was just like, oh no, maybe maybe he was
just trying to act like he was surprised. I don't know.
I feel like he's done this multiple times. I think
he was like, oh no, this might be.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
The first human because he doesn't have this reaction really
later on this one, he's like, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Yeah yeah no, his eyes like yeah, they.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
They explode and bulge out of his head, and then
the girl accuses him of killing him, and he goes,
I gave him life, and then we cut to the
opening title scene. Hold on last psych, I mean re

(14:04):
animators score.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
It is on purpose?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Sound like it kind of sounds like Psycho.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
You have to is on purpose?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I found out.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yeah, so the theme blatantly rips off Psycho. The composer
called it a tribute, like oh okay, like sure Jian
okay whatever, but yeah so and yeah so Richard Band
does do the did the score. The score is awesome.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
It is great.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
It's one of my favorite scores. And also the intro
with like the neon, Oh.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
God, this is so amazing, one of my favorite opening credits.
I love all the colors and everything.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
I really like it. Yeah, there's a lot of neons.
It's very fun.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Real quick, Sarah, I'm working on a movie and I
had an idea for the music for it. Can I
Can I sample some of the music for you? This
is the music for my movie.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Duh.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Do you think that'd be good for my Space adventure movie?
You think i'd be good?

Speaker 2 (15:08):
It's only inspired by this movie.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
But that was an original thing that I just did.
I thought that was an original composition.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, original original composition.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Anyway, if you've never seen re Animator before and you're
watching this, oh, if you're watching it live, keep watching.
If you're watching this later on, paulse just watch the
opening credit sequence. It'll make you want to watch the movie.
It's so amazing.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Then we skip to the Miskatonico in Arkham, Massachusetts. There
you go. You's got quote on. Hold let it, let
me pull, let me make that bigger. Wait a minute,
you are Herbert West. I don't like your woke reimagining
of Herbert West. I'll not stand for it. Yes, ignore

(16:04):
that picture I just showed off Jeffrey Combs with a
lady's hand. I do like this because this is where
the original story took place. Biskatonic Medical School. Yeah, I think,
although it takes place very early on there, and I
think they like relocate because they can't really keep doing
experiments there. In the story, say, we can see the

(16:24):
medical school school. You get to see the medical stool,
and we can see the medical school, and we meet
Dan Kine who he's trying to bring a woman back
to life, and even the doctors like buddy, he's she's gone.
He's like, no, no, I can keep doing it. So right
away we know that there's a character that kind of
wants to conquer death. Not as much as the other

(16:46):
guy he's going to me, but it gives him a
reason to kind of want to work with the other dude.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
It gives them relatability between each other.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Yeah, and then we got this poor Sonovitch security guard.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
I love the security guard is so funny for no reason.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
In theory, he should have the easiest job in the world.
He's a security guard at a morgue. Nothing could ever
go wrong. He's this film. Inside the morgue, he meets
with Dean Halsey, who introduces him to a new transfer student,

(17:24):
Herbert West. How the hell he got out of Zurich?
I don't know. They kind of gloss over how he
got out of that whole situation.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
It's clearly some like I don't know, man, I it's
some like I don't know, there's some something that we're
not being told.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, because like later on, I think the Dean or
Hill has like a folder on Herbert West in his office.
It's like, you bet he does. Did he bribe to
get out of Zurich because that was.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Envelope with some money in it. I bet he does.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah, So yes, Dean introduces him, and then Herbert West
meets doctor Carl Hill, who will become his enemy. He
challenges him on the six to twelve minute rule of
brain death. David gill is, I can't.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Just challenges him. Cracks me up so funny.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
It's funny. I think if I was hold on Herbert
West description in the book, I feel like when I
was listening, they described Herbert West as having blonde hair
in the book. Uh yeah, yellow hair and pale blue eyes.
Nailed it. It's just like so right away he's meeting

(18:49):
someone who could be an accompliced for him, and he's
meeting his enemy. Everyone's meeting each other that we meet
the love interest. Yeah, of course is Megan Halsey, the
Dean's daughter. She's a and Dan in the weirdest transition ever.
We're like, right, kiss and then just cut to hardcore pounding,
like wow.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
What we got to get at least one normal sex scene.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
In Yeah, it's true. So yeah, they're fulled around. They're
playing around, and then Herbert shows up because Dan was
looking for a roommate.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Mm hm on like the the bulletio.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Herbert just shows up with.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
This like it's the Internet.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
So he just starts looking around. He's like, I'm ready
to movie in right now. I know you guys are
in the middle of something, but I got my bags out.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Let's do a lot of cash and a.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Lot of cash let's go. And I like that U
was a raised Megan. It's just like, uh, don't you
want to think about this. He's like, nope, I'm good her.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
It clearly shows like the woman, like the women's intuition
compared to the guy's intuition. And she's like, don't you
want to like talk about it and like figure out
who this man is. He's like, nope, he got cash.
It's cool, this mon man. Settle down there.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
This is nineteen eighty five. We just know people back then,
so funny.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
She's like like check him out a little, like, oh
the fuck he has his money.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
How would you check him out? The internet doesn't exist.
You would just assume that they were Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
I guess, man, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, Herbert attends his first class, which of course is
being uh demonstrated.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
This scene is so I don't I just want to
know how they how they did the brain stuff. I
think it looks so real.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
The brain is awesome. So we get to see the
bone bone saw, so they're introducing like a weapon that
we're going to see throughout the rest of the film.
And he mentions based on their previous conversation, Okay, doctor
Hill is being kind of a dick because he makes
sure to look at Herbert and be like six to
twelve minutes, yeah, yes, and that's it, which leads Herbert

(20:58):
to keep doing this.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Brain brings about an irreversible conclusion. He just keeps and
then he's like, he's like, maybe you should invest in
a pen. It's west.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
He like just challenges on his knowledge. He's like, my
blah blah blah. I like I like Dan sitting there
like a ship. That's my roommate. I think I might
have he might have been right. I don't know if
I should have had that. Oh my gosh, because Dan
is dating the dean's daughter. He really should the guy

(21:35):
who's yelling at one of the biggest professors there.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
Yeah, it's back and forth.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
However, turns out what you call Carl is a fucking creeper.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
It's this here, This.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Is the most uncomfortable thing in the world, because they're
having dinner and he's clearly into Megan, like, ye, clearly,
and okay, the age thing is a little weird, but whatever,
but also she's a student, and also she's the dean's daughter,
and also your friends with the dean. I'm like, buddy, father, Yeah,

(22:14):
I'm like, buddy, Like, maybe one of these things you
can get away with, but all of these together, it's
just too many creepy things in a row. Buddy, it's
too creepy.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Like friends with their dad, Like, it's just I don't.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's I'm sorry. That's the big one.
It's the and the friends with their dad who's also
his paws. I don't like any of it, and it
makes you hate the guy, right, before this, you're like,
Herbert is a fucking prick to him, And then you
see this and you're like, ah no, I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I kind of get it, but it's.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
It's creepy that he's not really being subtle about it.
Because she's like, yeah, I'm gonna go out. He's like
why don't you stay here?

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And why don't you stay here instead? Like and I.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Love that the Dean the Dean cut every time he
gets it's like weird. You see the teams just be
like huh what what? Like she's going out there? Boyfriend?
You wanted to why do you stay here? Friend of mine?
Looking at my daughter like a yeah, it's it's so uncomfortable,

(23:20):
like look at that.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Come on, okay, like what I hate it? I hate it.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Wait, ladies, I'm talking to all the ladies in the.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Chat, the numerous count there's so many of them.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, sir, I'll have you know.
I haven't checked it in a bit. Let's look at
my statistics here before you start running your mouth here.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Before you start talking your ship.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Okay, lifetime audience, I'll.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Get it in his lifetime.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Okay, get it in a second. Hold on. It's actually
more embarrassing of its lifetime. Uh everything's frozen now, what
is going on? Why did it freak in the chat?

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Hack the movies is ninety nine point nine percent male?

Speaker 1 (24:09):
No, it's not, and I'll prove it in a second
if the goddamn analytics would just load. They're just stuck loading. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I have
you know, Sarah that four percent of our female four
percent of our audience is female and they're watching right now,

(24:31):
and then point one percent is undetermined, so it could
be four point one percent. We don't know. Uh So, ladies,
all four percent of you, if you're having dinner with
your dad and his friend is staring at you like this,
just get out, get out, run away, call the cops
there if anyone makes you. Yeah, like look at this.

(24:54):
He's real snobby about it too, like this is everyone
feeling untalkorable, and he's like, why don't you guys stay
here tonight? It's like, no, no, get out again. All
of you ladies out there, if you're having dinner with somebody,
if you make this face, get out of there. Uh so,
Megan's not having a good night because she leaves one

(25:14):
creepy guy to go to her boyfriend's house with.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
A creepy guy.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Love he creepy, but I like that she she is
kind of nosy, all right. I know technically she's right,
but also she is kind of nosy because she's like,
why did you ever see him? He's always in his room,
and I mean, I feel like he lucked out. He's like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
He's always in his room, playing with his good cats.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
I'd be like, yeah, it's awesome. I don't have to
share the living room. What the fuck?

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Right?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Eve him in his room? And then she's like, where's
the cat? And he's like, I don't know, doing cat things?
Where's Yeah, where's roof face? I don't know, off somewhere.
And then she's like, no, he's all over us usually,
and it's like lady relaxed. So of course they start
looking for the cat, and she invades Herbert's personal space

(26:02):
if they're being honest, and they find the cat's head
cat next to the bottle of reagent. Uh but obviously
her shock in horrify.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
But yeah, details later, we're getting.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
To that Herbert. Herbert is the most shocked that someone
would enter his room without asking. It's very rude, but
also man, yeah, he's like, I know that there's a
cat in the refrigerator, but let's talk about you invading
my privacy. It's like, okay, we got to address the
big one first.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah, don't invade my personal space. I'm sorry that I
have cats in my refrigerator, but youn't go in my room,
you freak.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Yeah, he claims that he found the cat dead. It
got its head stuck in a jar and suffocated. The
movie never tells you if that's true or not.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
I what do you think? What's your theory, Tony?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Well, after reading the book, I assume that, yeah, he
killed that cat. But I don't feel like I don't
feel like Herbert would go out of way to kill
his roommates that you could have found neither.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
I don't think he would. I don't think he'd be like, like,
I see that cat, I want to kill it. I
just like, I mean, unless it like did something to him,
But like no.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I think it's like, yeah, because he's supposed to be
laying low, I think he might have actually found it
dead and was like, well, what a stroke of luck.
I don't have to go looking for what.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Yeah, Like, well, now I don't have to kill something.
I can just use it. Like, yeah, that's what I
was thinking.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
But you're right, Dan is like why did you put
it in the Refrigerator's like I didn't want it smelling up
the place I was going to tell you, it's like
why did you leave a note, which leads to probably
one of the best quotes ever hold on Cat.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Did details Later? Details leader so good. I was at
a convention and I handed out like sticky notes that
said that ship. I loved it.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
If space Cat were toever die, well with my luctual
she'll be like the first cat who lives to two hundred,
and we'll just keep getting more expensive as she gets older.
I think I will just make that post. I'll be
like cat dead details later right before a live.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Oh my god, yeah, face Cat.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Is alive and well. Fun fact fun facts Thereah. On
top of the insulin that I have to pay for
all the time, it turns out she has feline arthritis,
so now I have to take her in once a
month for a shot or baby And I would like
to remind everyone for the millionth time she wasn't my god,
Damn Cat Cat, I gotta pay for glyco balance food, insulin,

(28:43):
and arthritis shots. And I would like to remind everyone
again to please leave a goddamn super chat and become
a patriot because it's getting expensive. Come on, guys, your
super chats will help keep Spacecat alive, which in turn
will make my life miserable. So the way it's a
form of torture for me. Is she down?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Oh my god, she is down here, Space Cat. Do
you guys want to see her? You guys want to
see her new play?

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Someone said, Crystal Dead details later?

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Here we go, guys. I was telling Sarah before the stream,
space Cat I left a book bag down here, and
Space Cat has decided that it is her bed. There
she is all the way back there a hello, she
is just knocked out. Oh god, I gotta fix this
whole thing. Also, I'm pretty sure I just got my

(29:34):
mail in the shot. Awesome. I'm pretty sure I just
had an envelope with my address on it. Oh no,
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
That's that's chick.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
That night that night, Dan waked up hearing a bunch
of noise and he's like, what the hell is going on?
It sounds as if my cat has just come back
to life. It started freaking out. He goes downstairs and
finds out that his cat has just come back to
life and started breaking out. Now, Sarah, there's great effects
in this film. This cat is not one of them.

(30:10):
I think we can agree. We can agree that cat.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Is this it's like some it's it looks funky. I
wanted to get like a cat Dell attached to my
back for Cosmo one time.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Yeah, that actually would be fucking solid. That would be
pretty great.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
I'll do I'll do it one day. I'll do it
one day.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Uh, this cat is. It's funny though.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Yeah, it is hilarious. That was another thing, Like the
original script for this wasn't like humorous. It kind of
just developed that way over time. This wasn't supposed to
be And it's weird because it doesn't really feel like
a comedy. But you had to laugh a lot.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Blunt humor.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah yeah uh. And the cat again, the cat being
basically a fucking rag doll that they beat the ship
out of. Say, he beats the shit out of him.
And then this is what I was talking about. Uh,
these the basement for whatever reason, it's dark, has impractical

(31:12):
lights behind the calendars and cabinets, which looks good. Have
you never noticed that yet?

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I've seen this movie probably fifty times. I kid you not.
I've watched this movie so many times. I never know
what what a nerd?

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Why does Herbert do that?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
I think it's that was more like stage I mean,
it looks cool visually, it looks cool, I think.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Because because the rest of the scene was going to be.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
So dark, there's that. But also, like Stuart Gordon did
like stage stuff, so maybe that's maybe that's how he
lit stuff in a production. But it is kind of
funny when it's pointed out, like I think I might
have saw a review that pointed out years ago, and
now I can't not look at it. Yeah. Yeah, it's
just a bunch of lights behind the cabinet's there for
no reason. It looks amazing, though.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Now that you say that, I'm not going to be
able to unsee it. That's so.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Yeah. So he shows him that the cat was dead,
and that's just.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
A damn stuffed animal.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Can't It's actually funny. Did you watch any of the
alien show Alien Earth?

Speaker 2 (32:13):
I watched some of it. I know that pops up.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, there's a that's the one thing you heard about it, Like,
oh yeah, I heard about it Twitter.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
What do you expect?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Anyway, there's an eyeball alien that can possess dead bodies
and the dead cat. And it's funny seeing like that
dead cat and then watching this with this basically, Oh so,
I will say this is a little bit better than Uninvited,
the movie about the killer cat that bombits up another
killer cat that review is on.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Never seen that?

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Yve never seen? Sarah, You're gonna want to go to
tub tonight and watch Uninvited from nineteen eighty eight about
the killer He's a killer mutant cat that vomits up
a different killer mutant cat that eats people. Uh, you
can watch it on TV with or without the riff tracks.
They have both versions. Oh yeah, or you could just

(33:14):
go to Patreon and see me Captain Boom. He's in
Casey talk about it whenever you want, just kidding Wow,
solo review for the rest of the show. Uh so
that the cat? How dare you? Everyone should become a patriot?
Let me put the QR code back up there. Everyone
should be a patron. So he was just Dan doesn't

(33:36):
believe it. Dan doesn't believe it. He's just like, nah,
the cat was obviously still alive. You were mistaken obviously.
So I love that. He plops on the tables, like,
can we agree instead right now? Dan's like yeah, So
he puts the reagent in it, and it fucking comes
back to life.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
This thing is so great? Like it. I actually even
though it looks kind of stupid, I actually do really
like the way this looks. Like I know, it looks
like funky, but like it's kind of like like, it
looks weird, but I like it better.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Here it looks better than it did when it was
running around, and shit, well it.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Looks unnatural because like it, it clearly shouldn't be moving,
but it is.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
So uh. Dan is horrified by all of this, but
he also should fascinating, so he does what he think
is the right thing and tells Dean Halsey, and Dean
Halsey's like, are you a fucking crazy person?

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Are you on drugs?

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Although I mean Dean Halsey should have been like, all right,
let's go check it out. Instead he's like, ah, how
dare you?

Speaker 2 (34:38):
It's like, yeah, I guess.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Okay, I don't know what percentage of our audience are
deans of universities. But if you're watching, someone comes up
to you and says, hey, my roommate made a zombie cat.
Check it out before you dismissed it. Just check it out. Yeah,
it's a crazy person, but it might also be the truth.

(35:02):
But that goes out to our one point zero zero
zero four percent audience that are deans of medical universities.
So they have to sneak Herbert West into the morgue
because I think at this point he's expelled.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, he has all of his Like, this ID no
longer works, I can't scan the send. So canonically, if
I'm Herbert West, I can no longer access the morgue.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Guys which you which you are not allowed to be
Herbert West. If you were ever cast as Herbert West,
I would throw a fit. I would scream, ruining my childhood.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Honestly, if I was making if I was making uh science,
if I was making a science fiction thing about someone
who wants to bring their cat back to life, I
probably would make it a woman scientist. To be honest,
I'd be like, yeah, they'd be the ones that would
want to do it. I man, it'll be crazy cat ladies.
They go to the work, and this actually feels like

(36:07):
the book because I think the book they talk about
how they had to find like freshly dead almost complete specimens.
I love this.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Scene as someone Okay, so as someone I did. Before
I went to college for special effects makeup, I considered
becoming a mortician, so I volunteered at at at mortuaries
and morgs. I really love this scene. I think this
scene is super dope. Everything from the sound design. You

(36:35):
can literally hear him insert like the syringe into the body,
like if you have the sound all the way up
like you could. I really have the sound design of this.
The whole scene's really fun. Yeah, Like it's just it's
super like, oh, like what's gonna happen when he puts
it in? And like the whole like thirty seconds of
like him like waiting and just like I don't know.

(36:55):
It's very I love the scene. I think it's super fun.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
But yeah, I like it.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
It's cool.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
Hold on one second.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, this seems very very fun.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Oh no, someone sent me a text. That's fine. Person
who texted me? Someone texted me that I posted the
stream yard link but that's for the patrons, so it's fine. Anyway,
I heard everything you're saying. Sorry, I got distracted there.
I thought for a minute, I thought there was so yes,

(37:34):
they put the reagent inside fresh victim or not victim.
It's just a fresh. And the Dean is like, Okay,
it's time. It's time for me to see what's going
on down there. Your boyfriend's lunatic.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Yeah, your boyfriend's crazy. Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
And of course as he starts knocking on the door,
zombie Man wakes up.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
Zlombie fucking steer roidal with every vein pul freaking.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
That's the thing this movie does. Make it feel like, uh,
it hurts to be one of them.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
I love the corpses in this movie. It makes me
like it. I like, like it makes me tense up,
like why, like why are their veins like about to
pop out of their flesh?

Speaker 3 (38:24):
It's so dope.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
It's the agent does.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
It just brings you back but makes you crazy and strong.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
It's like, I don't know, Yeah, it's some crazy ship.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
But I didn't get a picture of it. I forgot
to get a picture of it. But I like when
you see his back, his back is all purple, which
is also something they did in Return of Living Dead
because like, when you're dead, all your blood rules.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
It's another movie that I love their dead makeup, which fantastic.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
We were. I reviewed Return Living Dead a year or
two ago. But this December I will be doing what
is the fast or worst sequel since the news coming out?

Speaker 2 (39:06):
But I like it is the third one, the one
with like that sexy girl.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
That one was stupid. That was a little too It
was a little too.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
I kind of like that one. I don't know, it's
like it's like it's like it goes on a little
too long. But like I I liked the I liked
the idea of it.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
I'll watch it again. I only really watched the first one.
To be honest and ask you to watch it. I'm
just giving them, well, I'm gonna watch it because I'm
doing that episode. I also got to watch all the
Silence like Deadly Nights before the remake comes out.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
I'm excited for the remake. Someone did mention in chat
that that guy who's that that stump double? Right, there
was a stunt double for Arnold Schwarzenegger. He looks like it,
but but he was, And I and I did read that,
so I just want to whoever, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
That's not as usual. Actually, you know it's funny.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
I'm gonna shut them out. Oh yeah, noah, Noah. Whoever
said that? Yeah, noah, because I read.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Are you acknowledging the free chat? What? What is going
on with you?

Speaker 2 (40:02):
What are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Ban me?

Speaker 5 (40:05):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (40:05):
You know, it's funny. Speaking of Arnold and Reanimator, Arnold's
regular stunt double was chat. Yeah, that's a stutter in
John term he calls whenever someone leaves a chat that's
not a super chat, he calls it the poor chat,
sorry chat, the chet Arnold's. Arnold's regular stunt double is

(40:35):
I believe Ralph Mohler, who did a bunch of work
for Arnold's and if I remember right, he starred in
the live action Cone in the Adventure TV show, which
was produced by Brian Junza, who produced re Animator, was whatever.

(40:58):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Uh yeah, there's some weird uh
five degrees of whatever there.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
So that's a crazy frame.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
I couldn't show too much of the gore because I
feel like twitch and whatnot, because he's like, but they
crushed the Dean's head but then he gets the bones
on and like shoves it through his abdomen.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
It's so fucking gross. So they decide, oh, fuck, we
killed we killed the dean. We got to bring him
back to life so we don't look like murderers. So
this poort of security guard walks in and he's like, wait,
what happened here? And they're like, you never believe it
the deed. He's like, what do you know what? The

(41:46):
dean went absolutely insane and tried to kill us and
uh push the corpse and also knock down that door.
He's very s wrong the dean. As it turns out,
everyone's like, what the he.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Doesn't he like crush him or whatever? Yeah, and he
like jumps on the door. It's you can hear like
its bones crunching. It's it's the thing.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
The security walk walks in there like, yeah, it was
the dean. He did all of this, and they're like
that doesn't make any fucking sense, but he's smoking. But
there's no other explanation. So they take like the dean
in I love that man and his partner would rent
all his decisions.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
He's like, oh no, a great moment there.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Yeah, So they put the dean in a pat I
don't know why doctor Hill has a padded cell in
his office. Seems like something a super villain would have.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Yeah, because honestly he's kind of yeah, you know that
seems that's some freak ship that he would have.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Yeah. And by the way, no curtain or anything. So
what if he was just doing paperwork, I'd be like,
oh god, yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Because he wants to watch him in there because I
think he's a freak.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
I don't want he is a freak. He is week
a freak.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
I got for It's so weird.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
So she's horrified. She's like, wait, what's wrong with my dad?
And Hill's like, I don't know. We'll break open his
brain find out and she's like what the fuck Now?
It actually is super tragic. I'm like, that's actually real upsetting.
And again we have a lot of goods set up
and pay off here. Sarah. During this conversation, he puts

(43:28):
his hand on the head used for like anatomy shit,
and I'm like, oh, you know for you know, for
a fact that's coming back later like previod ahead of time.
So she goes, she like talks to Dan. Dan apologizes
for everything. Another word of advice to all the men watching.

(43:53):
If you kill your girlfriend's dad and then bring him
back as a zombie, they don't like that. You should, well, one,
don't do that.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
You shouldn't do that unless she asks you to.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
No, you shouldn't kill anyone and bring him back as
a zombie, even if they ask you to. Uh, that's murder,
even if we haven't made laws yet about if you
can murder someone or do you go to jail if
you bring him back to life? So for now, don't
kill your girlfriend's dad, don't make them a zombie. Okay,
but if you do do that, make sure you apologize.

(44:28):
It's the least you can do. It's the least you
can do. Meanwhile, Hill, now knowing that West is up
to something, visits him in his creepy basement, makes no
mention of all the lights behind the cabinets. I would
have been like, what the hell's going on? It's like
that episode of Signfeld where Newman goes into a lane

(44:48):
department and he's like, I've always imagined being in here.
It's just like I pictured it, and he goes for
this out of place where tan piece. That's what Hill
should have been like, Yes, your laboratory which has lights
behind the things. Why what's the purpose of that? Anyway,
he comes in, He's just like, uh, I know what
you're doing. I can have you arrested and kicked out

(45:11):
and everything, or you can give me your reagent.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
We're going to give me all your research.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
You give me your research and.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
You And then he becomes n give all of a sudden,
and he's like and he's like because Herbert's like, sure,
I'll show you. I'll show you my Yeah, I'll show
you my journey search.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Let me let me show how the reagent works. But
then we cut back. We cut back to Dan and
Meghan looking at her dad feel sad again. They want
to like help him now again to our zero point
zero zero zero four academics here. If you're gonna steal
a student's research, don't threaten him alone in a basement,

(45:54):
and don't put your back to him because something like
this might happen famous and then you'll never get to
be famous, like Tony from Hacking movie. So I heard.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
That that is such I it's not that I don't
like that scene, but I'm like, did he just like
lose like like like I don't know I just feel
like he got a little dumber.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
In that moment.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
He got he got wrapped in the moment.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
I guess excited. This research what we're.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
About to learn here, Sarah, that is science. Uh makes
you forget about everything else because Herbert kills kill cuts
his head off. He puts his head on the paper thing,
the needle that holds all the notes to prop it up.
By the way, clever reference to the old film The
Brain that Wouldn't Die. Yes, the Head that Wouldn't Die.

(46:52):
The movie has two titles in it where the woman's
head is in it.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
I mean it's a head technically brain.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
You know. The movie starts off brain that would have died,
and then the closing credit says, the head that would
have died. So he puts the reagent in the head
and then the body, and he's studying it. And then
he does the same mistake. He's intimidating Hill, which, by
the way, we have to this is my second favorite quote,

(47:25):
just the way he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Now.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
I know some of you are probably saying in the chat,
but I won't read it because it's the free chat
unless you're super chatted. How is he talking if he can't.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Breathe cords are cut.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
Yeah, and he also has no air and it's like,
well shut up. So West is so fascinated by this
discovery he doesn't check his back and he gets knocked
out by Hill's body and now Hill wacky shenanigans. Hill
has to direct his body. Reminds me of the end

(48:01):
of Child's Play with Chucky's yelling at his body to
kill them.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Ut back to the Dean and I feel like this
was a moment in the book where one of their
patients gets arrested and just thrown into an asylum because
no one knows what his deal is. And they're like, yeah,
we killed a lot of our specimens except for that one.
That's unfortunately, but this is a really heartbreaking moment because
he's like clearly like sad because he doesn't know who
he is and his brain's all messed up. West wakes up,

(48:29):
finds out everyone's gone. Dan comes down, gets the bad news. Also,
there's a light behind the water boiler back there gonna
keep pointing them out now, so they're like, oh shit,
uh we fucked up. Something bad happened. He goes through
the office.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Oh my gosh, I love this scene.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
Uh, and it was this was fun that the headless
effect isn't great because it's shoulder pads.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Yeah, but it's it's like it.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
I like it, I get it.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
I like I like shlock and I like I like.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
Les do at the time. But his head in the
pan and how they hide his head is pretty good.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
That is still really good.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Yeah, so he's feeding himself blood makes sense, I guess,
And then I guess the doctor. I guess the dean
is his first experiment with this laser procedure that uh
he then does on the other corpses. I thought that
he uses the mannequin head. It's so good it on
it it's just like shuffling into the room.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
He's like, I don't get paid enough for this.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
I'm not so Yeah, he immediately starts, uh going to
town on these uh specimens. So they're talking about their
whole situation at home, Dan and Meghan and uh, we
got a pretty good jump scare here. I haven't seen

(50:00):
this movie in a while. That one like caught me
by surpriser. I was like, oh fuck, I forgot that happened.
Oh god, Yeah, Meghan gets kidnapped by her dad. The
Dean because now he'll he lobotomizes them and he's able
to mind control them somehow. Uh. So he has the

(50:22):
Dean bring Megan to him, and obviously they strip her
down and then I had to crop out her boobs here.
Uh and he just gets super creepy with her.

Speaker 2 (50:31):
Oh uh.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
Yeah, he puts his head off again. This is actually
a good effect because they have someone holding him and
then he's like in someone. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Fun fact, his wife divorced him after this scene because
of the scene. Yes, I have found several sources for this.
I kid you, yeah, yeah, yeah. The actor David Gale.
Let me hold up, I'm in my notes. I'm in
my notes.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Actor David Gil's wife divorced him after the infinitous infamous
head scene. That is, there's multiple.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
I'm gonna assume more. Yeah, that might have been he
might have not been telling her what he agreed to
do in the movie and she had to like find
out afterwards. I got yelled at. I got yelled at
by an ex girlfriend when I did Mummy Coup I
bet you did, or the Mummy sex scene in the

(51:26):
movie with me. She's like, she's like, did you make
out with the actress, and I was like, I'm wearing
two masks, so I mind it. I had to explain
Her'm like no, I physically could not make out I'm
wearing two masks on top of each other. And then
he's like, you did a sex scene. I had to
be like, I did this, and then I was replaced

(51:48):
with a puppet. What am I being yelled at for?
Right now?

Speaker 2 (51:51):
What did I do?

Speaker 1 (51:54):
By the way, that was the straw that broke the
cavals back there, so I guess I relate to David.
There were a lot of other problems. I actually she
I ended up break. We were on and off. I
ended up breaking up with her, like officially. But the
one time she broke up with me was while we
were shooting and I'm in the Mummy outfit and I'm
there with franken Bed and my producer comes out to

(52:14):
me and she's like, hey, your girlfriend looked at your
cell phone and she just took off, and I will
I'm not wearing the Mummy outfit and I'm looking at her.
I'm like, and I looked at her. I'm like, that's
a problem for later. We got to get this next
scene that's so funny.

Speaker 2 (52:31):
Like I'm like covered in like makeup and stuff like,
I don't know what you want me to do.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
Again? Sure that broke the camel's back was the sex
scene apparently? Anyway, Herbert shows up right when he's about
to go down on Megan just like, come on, man,
you're so fucking creepy. Not for going down here.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
Or headhead, I don't I don't know how to anyways,
move on.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
We can work shop that one. There's a good head
joke in there somewhere.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
We could work here is miss either is, but I
don't have it right now.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Uh, our point seven percent comedian audience will come up
with the joke I'm just throwing out, so Herbert shows.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
All the men in the comments will figure out something
really funny.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
Herbert shows up calling him out, being like, hey, what
the fuck you're fucking PERFC get a.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
Get a get a job on a side show or whatever.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Yeah, yeah, And then he's just like he's like I
have a plan for you, and then he goes, so
do I And he wakes up all the other kidd.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
So cool, and because like I know, in the in
like the beginning scene, like when they were first in
the more they went through all like the the body
tags and they were like, oh, this one died from fire,
this one died from our heart attack, this one died
from so and so, and then yeah. Then you see
all of them and it's super dope and they all
have bodies. Ly yeah, the bodies are gross.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Okay, uh close up, really good flide shot. The tactor
suddenly gets very bottom heavy when.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Looks like what the spirit Halloween like head?

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Yeah, so equls out his ree agent, which I don't
know what Herbert's plan was, like, you were just gonna
make it worse, I think overdose over. So they hold
him down. They want to make him a zombie too.
He tells him that he's going to use the laser
procedure on him. We see the holes and all of them,

(54:28):
and they start they start to drill in, but then
the power of love is able to make the Dean
remember that that's his daughter and he's power of Yes,
he's he fights Carl Hill's body. Wow again, it's like, man,

(54:53):
they're dead. I shouldn't have to uh. So, Yeah, the
Dean crushes Hill's head so good. It's impossible for him
to come back in the sequel. But I'm gonna allow
because the sequels awesome and Hill's awesome in it. Uh.

(55:14):
Then we get the overdose in the body. The head
just gets splattered and he's just like starting guards like, nah,
that this is not my problem. And I guess when
you overdose the body, all the organs become.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Sentient, become tentacles.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
Well that's like his uh intestines come out, which this
actually reminded me of Oh God, season two of Ash
versus Evil Dead. There intestines and everything.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
That's I you know, you know what, I bet you.
I bet you they were inspired by this movie.

Speaker 1 (55:50):
They had to be. I thought that scene and season
two was like one of the hardest things I had
to watch, like I want to throw up. And then
we got the sperm Bank apisode in season three and
I went, Okay, this one might be the hardest I
have to watch.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
They were just so I I they were fine for
me to watch. They were just so like, So I
have it all on DVD.

Speaker 1 (56:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
I finally got the rest of Evil Dead on VHS.

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Oh did Yeah? I just thought, I tell you, I
think it's I think only the first one is the
one I don't have. I think I have the other two.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
I got the first. Yeah, I got the first one,
and I got on me in Darkness uncut.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
Nice?

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Nice? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (56:28):
Okay, So yeah, Herbert gets attacked by the tentacle and
then he dies much like he does actually not the
book definitively kills him. I wonder if Charles Band was like, hey,
how many puppet Masters did they make at this point?
Probably not much?

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Can we milk out of this one? Hold on?

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Hold on? When was the first puppet master made? Puppet No,
never mind, I was gonna I was gonna make a
joke how there was ten thousand puppet Masters at this point,
because there are, yeah, but at the point at the
time of this movie a zero puppet master. So that jokes, okay,
because this is what they were planning for a sequel,
because they don't show him actually dying, whereas the book

(57:08):
they say he was like completely ripped apart. Mother trying
to get away. The burnt zombie who was I don't know,
just taking a walk, attacks Megan and chokes her out,
ends up killing her.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
The most like, I don't know, this kill pisses me off.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
She choked out?

Speaker 1 (57:28):
She fuck dies, well, she's choked out by like a
super strong zombie. I guess to get the axe to
cut his arm off and everything, so everyone's dead. He
said they can't bring her back to life, and he
comes up with the plan, and that's when we get
this little cliffhanger here. I love it.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
I love it. I some people don't like it, but
I who doesn't like that?

Speaker 1 (58:01):
I love that little It tells you everything you need
to say.

Speaker 2 (58:03):
I've heard that some people don't like it. They're like,
I don't know. I've heard some people that don't like it,
and I I they kind of.

Speaker 1 (58:11):
The beginning of the second one kind of undermines it
a little bit. They don't really.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Yeah, that's why I've heard. Because then, like you know,
you don't hear anything about it.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
Yeah, but self contained. This is just one movie. That
one's awesome. That that d thing is great. Well, like
I said, they didn't end up doing Bride of re Animator.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
It was fine. It's usually I love it.

Speaker 1 (58:31):
Bride of re Animator is fucking great. I love that movie.
Uh you got Katherine, uh, Katherine Kinemont, Kathleen Kinemont from
Halloween or the Big Boom Girl from Halloween four.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
Oh yeah, I don't know what else she's been in
but uh.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
She's a bride of Reanimator and she was in a
movie with Barbara Crampton and they're both naked together. I
stumbled on that doing the commentary track because I was like,
I went is she naked? And other movies? And I
saw her with Barbara Crampton, Like I need to watch that.
Yeah she does. Uh, and again they did Beyond Reanimator
where he's in a prison. It's not very good.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
It's in Mexico. Who else is in it?

Speaker 1 (59:13):
I'm looking, I look up to hold on. Well, okay, uh,
Chris Hebsworth's wife is apparently in the movie.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
Yeah, yeah, well it was filmed in Mexico. Ye, like yeah, yeah,
that's the only like notable person in it because the
rest of the names are all like.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
And it's funny. It's like four white sounding names, three
one Australian girl, then nothing about Mexicans afterwards. Yeah yeah yeah.
Like I said, I maybe the only time I remember
watching it was on Sci Fi Channel, so maybe that
wasn't the best version of it. I assume they cut
out a lot of stuff. Uh, but yeah. That brings

(59:57):
us to the end of the review. Patrons if you're
watching Patrons come back in, Come back in Patrons.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
Final thoughts on re Animator before we go through all
these comments.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
No thoughts, but I thought i'd show you ahead show
the question called the garbage. So I have a garbage
pale kids card. It's called hyper Hyperdermic Herbert. So there's
him right there. And then I have this is original,
So I've got the original v agen here. Yeah, very
cool that for my birthday. Of course I got Beyond,

(01:00:32):
and then of course I got my syringe and then
at the outfit. But yeah, that's what I got for
re Animator, I think.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Yeah, Unfortunately I only have the anchor Baited DVD and
my friend's bottle of re agent. I should get more stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
I know I want more stuff. I really want more
stuff from.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Yeah, I get you. Guys should check out Stuart Gordon's
other films. Let me look at a list of them.
Let make sure I remember which ones to recommend again.
From Beyond really good one very similar to this, uh, director,
director director Stuart Gordon re Animator from me, Oh, Dolls

(01:01:12):
is very good? Dolls is good? What movie Dolls? From
nineteen eighty six?

Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
I know exactly which I'm one.

Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
That's almost like a precursor. Huh.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
I didn't know he did that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Yeah, he directed that. He directed Robot Jacks. Have you
ever seen Robot Jacks?

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
I know what.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Robo Jack's not great? Castle freak great. You know what? Okay.
I brought this up recently. We had Michael Levy on
the show, producer of Terrified two and three stream, and
I brought up to him because he had Jeffrey Combs
and stream. Jeffrey Combs is amazing in stream.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
I want to meet him so bad.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
Yeah. I know a lot of guys didn't watch the
review because the movie's not widely available, but I encourage
you to watch stream just for Jeffrey Combs. He is
having the time of his life in that movie. But
I brought this to Myll's attention. He didn't know it existed.
There was a short lived Aliens ride in nineteen ninety five. Uh,
it like was you were? It was like one of

(01:02:09):
those theater like moving sort of things.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Disney.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
It might have been a Disney No, no, no, no, no, no,
I know what you're talking about. Different that's Alien Encounter.

Speaker 5 (01:02:18):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
There was an initially licensed Aliens ride where it had
movable scenes and we go through the alien hive and
Jeffrey Combs was the marine in it whose story you
were following, and I'm looking here. Apparently Stuartcorded was the
director of the video portion of the ride.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
That's so sick. So it's not extraterrestrial.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
No, no, no, it's not that. It's not that. That
was supposed to be an Alien's branded ride and they
changed their mind. I will send because the video the
video version of the alien they someone eventually uploaded the
video version. I'll send it to you. It's awesome. It
is what Jeffrey Cobe is one of the marines from.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
Aliens, right, dude, that's so sick.

Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
Castle definitely. I still haven't seen the remake of Castle Freak.

Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
I think Barbara Crampton was involved with the remake, like
she produced it her.

Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
I watched the last thing I saw Barbara Crampton in
was that one movie that you had.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Me for, Oh Suitable Flesh.

Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Yeah, yeah, that movie that was good.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
That was a good one. Yeah. And of course there recordings,
uh no longer with us. He died years ago. Yes, yeah,
he has a he has in twenty twenty. He has
a fun cameo in that movie Tales from Halloween. Uh yeah,
which we have a commentary track for that too on Patreon.
That's a fun movie. It's like twenty goddamn short films.

(01:03:42):
But yeah, let's let's talk to her patrons. Uh, Lauren,
you were in the private chat earlier. Come back, come back, Lauren,
talk about you're Jeffrey Combs thing. Uh, here we go.

Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
We have we have could Die.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
I feel like he has a different outfit every time.
Now we have rent on the shade Hello, ren On?

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Oh good?

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
Bred and I can't hear god damn thing you're saying
with the pull mask on barely?

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
Ah everything.

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
I'm sorry. It was just it sounded like this, where
is that Spirit Alloween? Because I have a pug mask
that looks similar to that.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
I believe it is.

Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So what do you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:37):
Visual bit aside reanimator. Yeah, it's one of the it's
been a while since I've seen it, but it's one
of those eighties classics, you know what I mean. It's
like George Aramero was a Day in the Dead and whatnot.
It's like it's up there or like the Fly for
a Body Horror, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Yeah, it was a really good moment for body Horror.
I bet you. Apparently David Bowie liked this movie. I
saw it was like a factor. Apparently said it was
his favorite movie. I'm like, really, David.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
But we also liked Phantom of the Paradise. That's a
big movie that I've been.

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
On the.

Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
Yeah, I love that movie, my favorite one. I want
to I totally do video on that with you. I
love Paradise.

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
Okay, I didn't say I was gonna do a video,
but apparently I am all right. I've only ever done
to Brian DePalma movies Mission Impossible in Scarface, so I
guess I should do more of his stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Body Double is another good one.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
A bunch of people requested to do Body Double.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
Fanatic.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
There's like four or five women who asked to do
Body Double. That's gonna be a big.

Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
Really, that's crazy. It's women. That's awesome, and.

Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
I never wanted. So I have to see what your
broads are all bragging about. So ran on more about
when did you first see re Animator?

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
Probably around in college age of renting it, you know
what I mean, on DVD and hearing about It's like
this movie is awesome, except the whole dead cat part.
And if he was here, I'd have my cat Dobby
to say I don't like that scene.

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
Yeah, the effects are as. Have you watched any of
the sequels by any chance?

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
No, I've never found them.

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
Uh, where's Brian? Hold On?

Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
I believe is on to be It has been.

Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
Unfortunately this is saying it's not on to B now,
hold on, hold on, let me check my VPN. No,
I'm in America. Apparently it's not on TOB right now.
But I highly suggest you check out Ride re Animator
Beyond Reanimators on two B. That one you can skip
pretty great, dude, Okay, right on. You like furry stuff

(01:06:45):
and animal stuff? They to spoiler effect, yeah, not to
spoil it too much, but they end up using animal
DNA to enhance the reagent, and they attached Yeah, they
attach bat wings to doctor Hill's head, so he's a
flying head in Pride of Aim.

Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
It's soe.

Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
It's My favorite is the finger spider. He makes a
spider just out of human fingers, and there are conventions
of people who just three D print those finger spiders
that you can buy. Are you a fan of any
other Stuart Gordon stuff I name dropped some of his
movies earlier.

Speaker 3 (01:07:25):
I don't know, I have to remember. I just know
Movie Dumpster. They've covered a lot of his movies, and
I was just gonna say, oh yeah, probably the last
time I heard about Reanimator was their review of it.
Last time I thought about it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
But from Beyond? Did you see From Beyond? Do you
see Castle Freak Robot John?

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
I did see that one with my friend the other day.
That was awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
I feel like there's a wall in the middle, but
that movie is fun overall.

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
But yeah, you were mentioning the if I may plug.

Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Oh yes, please plug plug your book.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
Specifically characters like Stephanie the headless Giraffe. This movie makes sense. No, No,
that was actually she had a gypsy curse that took
her head.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Okay, but I thought you got the idea.

Speaker 3 (01:08:20):
For It's called modularity, and it's a interest within the
furry fandom.

Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
Just to say that there, Sarah, We've been learning a
lot about furries on these Last Lives, so I've seen
it's really added. Oh I gotta clip out the I
gotta clip the furry fan art thing. I forgot to
do that The Last Life wrap up. We went through
all his furry fan art of all of us. You

(01:08:46):
didn't make one for Sarah. Now she's back, you gotta
do one for Sarah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Yeah, you can make one for me. I mean you
don't have to, but you can't.

Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Well, yeah, I didn't know about Gil. And then it's like, oh,
has he been in the store on episodes or he
doesn't appear that much.

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
You know he has been in the store. If you
if you make it Gill, you have to make it
a Gill a monster because because g I l.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
Oh, yeah or something with Gil.

Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Yeah, ran on? Where can we find your stuff? Before
we get to these super.

Speaker 3 (01:09:15):

Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):

glad I pulled up the twitch streaming on Twitch. Yes, Twitch, Rumble, Instagram,
twitch s green Yard does not highlight the Twitch super
chats or bits or so platforms. The one in Dennis
for one hundred bits says Tony's shirt is festive attech.

(01:10:32):
This is my official Halloween review shirt unless I have
a movie, and all the movies we've covered recently, I
had a shirt for those movies, so I finally got
to I don't have any reanimator shirts. I could have
done Frankenstein technically, but I already used that shirt like twice,
So thank you. The one in Dennis. We got Bryant

(01:10:53):
Mingo Junior for four ninety nine. This movie and the
sequel are two of my few Blu rays that I own.

Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Man, only what Blu rays do I own? I have
a Franken Hooker Blue ray. I love Franken Hooker. That's fun.
You gotta do. I saw someone on your Patreon that
was like, oh, you should move.

Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
It was fun.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Agreed, it was fun watching it at the drive in
when she was there, Like, I want to meet.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Her if you do, Frankin Hooker, I seriously would consider
pulling out my costume for that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:24):
I'm so all right.

Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
I yeah, I only have I like I spit on
your grave, I have said Jack built. That's the only
like deep Blu rays I have. I'm not a big
Blu Ray person.

Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
I just don't want.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
I don't like how it's a visual thing. I don't
like how small they are.

Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
Oh whatever, some good releases. I'm all in. I'm all
in on four K Blu rays recently. You get the
best there. I got that new Jason goes to Hell
for K Blu Ray.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
So I got it.

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
Yeah, but yeah, no, there's a new arrow. Did h
all the new line ones basically and goes to Hell
And it's the new color. It was color corrected inaccurately.
Before I met the directory he was explaining it to us.
But yeah, so check out that out. Also whenever the
Jason goes Hell documentary makes its way online.

Speaker 2 (01:12:26):
I don't like Jason goes to Hell.

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
I'm okay, so you gotta watch some documentary because there
are people like you. But it's fascinating. Rob K's so hard,
okay for five dollars. More entertaining actor in horror comedies
Jeffrey Combe or Comes or Bruce Campbell. Fuck, that is hard.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
God damn, I have a I have an evil dead shrine. Guys. Yeah,
I wish I could get up and show you. Actually
I probably could.

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
I want to say, I want to say Bruce Campbell.

Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
Because it's Bruce Campbell.

Speaker 1 (01:13:05):
Yeah, but like Jeffrey Combs when he is very entertaining
in a lot of them, like The Frighteners, Foul Love
of the Damns, which I'm sure everyone is familiar with, Jackable.

Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
Well, but I mean it's not horror comedies. I was
about to list Jack of All like in like in
like the Western he did, but I know, but I'm
but it's Bruce Cambell.

Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
I think you win either way. I think you win
either way.

Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
I mean my first love was Bruce Campbell. I'm like
Jeffrey Combs. I'm literally like looking at my people try
like I'm betraying it right now. It's it's Bruce Campbell.

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
It's okay, Bruce Campbell for I'll go Bruce Campbell County Junior.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
Yeah, I love brisk County.

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
I think you win either way with them. Due to
Bides for five dollars, this movie released two weeks after
my birthday in nineteen eighty five, just commenting to send
Tony money. Thank you, dudifides, thank you so much. Hell yeah,
Ryan Mingo Junior. Today is my birthday and I get
to see Tony review one of my favorite happy site movies.

(01:14:12):
Site movies.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Happy Birthday. Everyone says happy birthday. Bryant Mingo Junior, say
it right now, Okay, Jesus Sanchez. I guess that would
be Jesus Sanchez n D seven w D for five dollars.
I've never seen this movie. I always heard about it

(01:14:37):
listening to my favorite movie review channel talk about it instead. Well,
I hope we've encouraged you to go and watch it.
And yeahs I had to cut out a lot of
the really cool gore and effects for our slide show,
so you're missing out on some stuff. I mean, watch
the movie.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
Inform your own opinions first, and.

Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Yes, the first movie. The first movie is I know
it's on toob but I think it's also I think
it's also on Amazon Prime watching it, and it's.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Probably on Internet archive because everything's on Internet archive if
you really can't find it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
If you look archive and Amazon Prime with your Prime subscription.
Because I was watching that last time for it, I
had to take a break from watching Underworld movies I have.
I have three and a half have.

Speaker 2 (01:15:25):
Some of those, and I've never watched that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
I watched three and a half of them before Saturday
night because I got to shoot a review. Anyway, I
was so animated it was on Prime, like awesome, uh
fere okay, hold on, okay, I'm gonna check the chat.
Is YouTube doing that thing again where it's changing everyone's names.
I know, because now I feel bad if I'm like

(01:15:53):
reading people's real name, you're.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Reading out their government ID because.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Some of the names were they're very specific. YouTube's done
this thing recently where it's like not their user name anyway.
Fure Grimaldi for ten dollars. Ah, oh my god, Sarah,
oh hell, I'd missed you on here my soul scenes
with Toye seeing you back here. Oh my god, you're
so deep hot bleep. Yeah, heart face emoji, heart face

(01:16:25):
emoji heart sorry heart eye emoji. Can't wait to see
you in more reviews. I think I think Fuor missed you, Sarah, Really,
I couldn't tell. You couldn't tell. Please do another driving
the point though.

Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Another I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
No, Dylan would be for nine Oh wait, hold on,
I forgot to mention seventy thousand subscribers. We finally got
seventy thousand subscribers. I was supposed to mention that at
the top of the show and totally forgot. Uh So
I think more people should leave superchats congratulating me on
that milestone. Anyway, Dylan would be for nine ninety nine.

(01:17:08):
Probably should go to Unit SEF. But Tony is war war?
I agree, I agree, I agree. I don't think anyone
would push background. Why is that crazy? It seems like
a totally reasonable thing to do.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Sure, buddy, whatever, hell do you sleep a night?

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Crazy dragoon? For two dollars, can we get a short
of Tony wrestling a plush cat? I don't have a
plush cat unfortunately, but I'm definitely not gonna do it.
For two dollars super Chat Aussie dragoon, but I do
appreciate it. I definitely won't do for two book Bryan
Mingo Junior for four ninety nine. Will you do a
best Reanimator sequel video?

Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
The answer is easy. It's Bride a reanimator. But we
should come back and do both of those separately. We
should do those separately.

Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
I'm the best reanimator.

Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
Because I would. I would have a lot to say
about Bride and Reanimator if we were doing a what
at best it's a blood bath. It's like, yeah, obviously it's.

Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
B there's so much. Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
That weird geek for five dollars says one of my
favorite movies to quote. Also, I love Jeffrey Combs as
the question just legunlimited. Got to get back to work now.
He was really good as the question.

Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Man, I hope you have a good rest of your
shift at work.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Yes, good job, work hard. You should be listening to
this at work. I don't know what your job is though.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
For two dollars Daniel Fault, Sarah would review Dark City
with Tony dark City.

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
If you tell me what Dark City is because I
don't know what it is, but if.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
You tell me what it is, Dark is a Alex
Proyus's who did The Crow's. It's his best movie. It's phenomenal.
People have been wanting me to review it for a while.
I love the way if you're Sarah, if you're gonna
watch Dark City, hunt down the director's cut because the

(01:18:56):
theatric director spoils the twist in the opening monologue.

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Like, wait, okay, I got you.

Speaker 1 (01:19:01):
So when you get to the twist, it's it's presented
as a twist, but you're like, but the opening narration
already told me this was gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Oh I see, I see it was. Yeah, I hear.

Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
No, Dark City is great. I think they just put
that out in four K. I might pick that up.
I do love Dark City. There's been a push for me,
a movie dumpster, to do Dark City. I will find
time to do Dark City at some point. Oh and
speaking of Underworld, Lena, who I'm gonna do that episode with,
says you better finish those Underworld movies for one ninety
I will. I will finish the Underworld movies. Yeah, so guys,

(01:19:34):
any last minute super chats, get them in, Sarah, I
know you've been off the grid for a little bit.
Other than that, weapons, I think i've been.

Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
I disappeared for a little while because that's just kind
of my thing. I intend to disappear again after this.
I'm no, I'm just gonna be honest. I'll pop up
whenever you want me to do a review. I don't
post that often on social media.

Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
Okay, but if people did want to follow.

Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
You, yeah, reanimated dot nerd. But like, if you expect
any like like you know, sense of like schedule, you're
not going to get it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
Because it'll be a surprise, it'll be random. But yeah,
I gotta get you on more of these. It's been
too long. It's been too long. Oh yeah, it looks
like that is it for super chats guys? Uh, thank
you all for watching uh Reanimator Rules. I hope you
all loved it. You're in the You're in the poor

(01:20:34):
chat right now, Sarah, No, what is this?

Speaker 2 (01:20:38):
What are you doing? I'm talking about scouse.

Speaker 1 (01:20:43):
Conversation with the chat? But how dare you? How for another?

Speaker 2 (01:20:53):
Yeah, man speak for the poor.

Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
I love the Poor Chat as well, but they just
clearly don't love space cat who needs light saving medicine
and authortis shots or else. Oh my gosh, that's a
good strategy. Guilt your audience. My cat will die. Cat's
gonna be fine. She'll be fine. She looked at me

(01:21:18):
for a second and went right now. Uh but yeah,

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
