(00:00):
Hello everyone, Happy frigging Monday.I am excited to be going to work
today. Just a little recap forthose and thank you guys for the emails.
That was just awesome. Some peoplewere like, oh, you said
you don't want emails. I'm sosorry to emailing. I just had to
comment. Now. What I meantwas on the one episode last with the
whole drinking thing, I said, you know, I'm not looking for I'm

(00:22):
not trying to be like, oh, wo is me please give me your
support. No, I just said, you know, just understand it.
You guys send some cool emails. But let me tell you what day six
man and I have more energy inthe morning I ever had in a long
time. You probably hear it myvoice, and man, I could wake
up in the morning, eat breakfast, and go to work and not have
to find a toilet. I mean, it's amazing, it really is.

(00:45):
I'm super excited. I even testedmyself. I had some some ghost peppers
and Carolina Reaper peppers that I grew, and of course my stomach is shot,
as I told you, so,I can't even eat those anymore.
Let my stomach heel. But Ihave a friend that works at a liquor
stores. She loves them, andI purposely went I used to go there
all the time. Purposely went inthere and delivered them to her and didn't
even get a flashback. So it'samazing, man, I just I feel

(01:11):
great. It's something. The onlything, the only thing that I'm I'm
weirded out about is I'm like tweakedout in the morning, like I got
so much energy. I'm not usedto this and it. You know,
the reason I don't drink coffee anymore. I used to live on ice coffee
is because you know, I wouldjust get tweaked out, and why I
can't drink Red Bulls or anything. So I have a natural coffee high right

(01:34):
now. So it's amazing. Sohere we go Monday morning, drive into
Delray Beach and a couple of things. Here. I is on Hurricane Adalia.
You know, it's not really goodaffect me here and I get some
wind, but I get gung howhen it comes weather season and hurricane season.

(01:55):
I'm a professional Fluoridian, as Itold you, and you know those
people up there. If you're upin the Panhandle, I expect you to
check in hand Radio Concepts at gmaildot com. Let me know preparations ready.
When you're going through the storm, what happens after. I want to
know, my fellow Floridians, anywhereyou are up in that area where you

(02:16):
could have impact, I'm thinking aboutyou. I hope everything's gonna be okay,
because these hurricanes do what they want. As I told you, Mother
Nature will do whatever it wants. And you know, when I saw this
days ago, they said, oh, it should be a tropical depression somewhere
up here. Then you know, tropical storm. Yesterday it was, oh,
it might be a Cat one sixseventy five or eighty miles an hour.

(02:38):
Now they're predicting a Cat three. So what's that mean tomorrow? Cat
four? We don't know. Imean, I'm guessing allegedly. You know,
it could be a Cat for manrolling up anywhere, you know,
somewhere between Tampa all the way upto the Big Band area. We don't
know yet, you know, becausethis thing, the trough could dip a

(02:58):
little bit, that they could stall, it could wobble. I was a
part of a wobble. It wasa good wabble. When that what hurricane
was that Dorian or I don't thinkit was Irma Muddam and Dorian Michael one
of those. And it was comingCat fives, some one that you know
decimated the Bahamas in Jamaican all lotand it was coming Cat five coming this
way. And I mean the lastminute there was a eyewall replacement cycle and

(03:23):
it wobbled that eye off the coastand up so that it didn't make a
direct landfall. But on this situation, it could be a wobble to the
wrong direction, wobble into Florida, which would media comes in like Charlie did
two thousand and four ish, Ithink, and Charlie had come up coming
and then they said on the newsthat day, all of a sudden it
took a right hook and went rightinto to uh what's what's that starts with

(03:46):
a g or as seat Uh ohman, I can't think of the city
over there, darn it. Ittook a took a major hit there.
Cat five. I can't think ofwhat that city was. It's somewhere of
their bye amp starts with a GRC, I think, and uh uh yeah,
I can't think what's gone. Butanyways, gotta be prepared. I've
told you this guy's before h youknow, you gotta be prepared, and

(04:11):
I'm already prepared. I'm ready togo now with work. It might have
me going other places over there toassist, if you know, they've already
activated some emergency response. They mighthave me, you know, at some
point go over to assist if itgets bad enough, not short. But
I'll be ready for that because youknow, he takes some couple of texts

(04:32):
from this area, bring them tothe area that eats it the most.
So yeah, that's that's that. Also, I'm going to be firing up
and ramping out the YouTube videos here. I've took a step away from that
because you know, like I saidbefore, my normal routine is have a
couple shots, getting a YouTube videocome out perfect. Don't have a couple

(04:55):
shots, I screw up. Sothat's I'm afraid of now because I've started
doing some programming on my FT fiveD yesterday. You know, I had
that radio now for a week andit just took the screen detector off and
turned it on. That's how,you know, just that's how it is.
You know, I got a talkpod, a Neon Green talk pod
GMRS radio, which looks pretty cool. I want to check that out.

(05:16):
I got the radio Radiotity q Tforty ten meter all mode radio which will
also with a jumper selection inside toeleven, so I'm gonna be on eleven
meters with that. I'll put thatin my diesel with my dual whips and
uh work some ten and eleven, ten and eleven meters side band in the
truck, Sady Cole, We're gonnacheck that out. And my three D

(05:42):
printing, the three D printed Rtwenty two is complete. Now I just
gotta buy the remaining for the upperbarrel bulk carrier group for that. That's
on the back burner, and uhyeah, a lot of things to do.
And I've just been coming home andworrying about, you know, dealing
with the wife and and my health. And it seemed that my health is
progressing rapidly in a positive direction. So I'm super super stoked, super excited,

(06:08):
and I'm not sure what else reallyto say other than me and I
feel great, And maybe it's annoyingthat I'm so hyperactive right now. Went
down. I'll tell you why Idid go down this weekend to my great
nieces, a great nephew's first birthday, my niece's first kid, we went

(06:30):
down to Fort Laardell. It washot down there, man for a birthday
party, and me and my wifeand my mom stopped at flann Against flood
Agans. If you've never been toflann Agains down south, awesome food.
I did have a beer and there'sno problem with that. Sat at the
bar, had one beer, thesam Outams Octoberfest with my rock and rib
rolls and my chicken wings or theywas fun. So yeah, I didn't

(06:53):
fall off the way I had abeer, and that's how I should be
able to maintain, you know. But I've already saved about one hundred and
fifteen dollars in occur in six days. That shows you how much I was
drinking. So uh yeah, everythingis good. Uh no waking up with
a hangover or a ruined stomach. It's amazing. So listen, if if
we get any uh you know, pertinent information about hurricanes, if I talk

(07:15):
to some people about that area thatthey're going through, maybe we'll have some
stuff to discuss. But you know, I don't you know, if I
say this, I don't know howthis is gonna come out. But like
I look at the Maui wildfires, right and then I look at this hurricane
and stuff, and I automatically thinkin my head, when there goes people

(07:35):
missing or people that can't communicate, radio is by far one thing that would
keep you and your family and friendscommunicating. Okay, you can't rely on
cell phones. And then in thein the the f and the what's the
word I look for in the lightof the Mallee fires. Yeah, I
know people are displaced and and andthat's more than just having a radio because

(07:58):
you lost everything, but they werelooking for people people. You know,
when when natural disasters have or youcan't get around, you can't go places,
well, think about this. Radiois the last thing that works and
that happened to Puerto Rico, whetherit be GMRS, CB radio, Ham
radio FRS. Think about this ina you know, just you don't have

(08:18):
to go full blown and get allthis Ham radio stuff like we have or
whatever. If you're not a Hamradio operator, that's fun. Think about
just you and your wife, oryou and your better half or significant other,
whoever, your kid having a radioand a plan so that hey,
you know what if we get displacedor something happens natural disaster, we can't

(08:41):
get ahold of each other. Let'sget you know, have the radio program
or this channel or this frequency, and we could you know, stay in
communication. It would be better ifyou had a HAM license so that you
can learn about some of the stuff, because what happen if the channel gets
bumped. You have no idea whatthe offset means, no idea what the
tone means. You know, thinkabout this. Having a radio and my
wife, you know, she doesn'thave her hand license yet, she doesn't

(09:03):
have MRS license w RCU seven zeroseven, so I could talk to her
through a local repeater and un simplexif I have too. She knows about
you know, she may not knowhow to make a contact on ten meters,
but she knows damn well. Ifshe can't get ahold of me and
there's an emergency to leave that radioon on that frequency and talk, you
know, or listen for me.I will make sure she's gonna hear me
one way or another, whether I'vebuilding antenna with sticks or get up on

(09:26):
a tall building somewhere around my area, I will she will hear me.
But you know, think about thatand radio is lasting. That's left.
So with that being said, Hamradio prep is the last place you need
to look to get your Ham Radiolicense makes it super easy. And Hambradio

(09:46):
Prep, I'm gonna make a videoon this has a brand new thing called
DX Masterclass or HF Masterclass. Theyhave a course and the Eric twenty code
saves you twenty percent on that courseas well. The master class gives you
all kinds of videos and interactions aboutgetting on HF and really being a proficient

(10:07):
HF operator for those who are notworried about emergencies. You just want to
be a Ham radio operator. Yougot your tech, now you want to
get your general. But the questionis always there, how do we how
do we know where to look forDX? How do we know what bands
are working? How do we knowwhat to really do to get on and
do these HF contacts? Masterclass atHam Radio Prep. But if you use
to code Eric twenty save you twentypercent on that, and dude, you're

(10:28):
gonna see it in a video. This is gonna be awesome. This is
what the public needs. They're gettingthe Ham Radial license and then they're like,
I got my seventy three hundred, now what Well, this is what
this is going to teach you, show you all about it. So spread
the word to put it on Facebook. The code Eric twenty will work for
the masterclass to save twenty percent, and guys, it's gonna really really help

(10:52):
a lot of those people. Bedifferent from an appliance operator as they used
to call me. I'm not. There's people out are telling I'm an appliance
operator right. Well, if youdon't want to be an appliance operator,
you could be a masterclass operator usingHam Radio Prep. Thank you to be
thank you for being a great sponsorHam Radio Prep. You guys are amazing,
and thanks for always giving that codeout for my listeners and viewers.

(11:15):
So that's it, guys, mayI'm happy to make this podcast today.
I hope you're happy listening. Soseven three and we'll do it again tomorrow. Peace.

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
