Specifically, this segment will cover the darker side of marriage, the part we don't talk about enough though the brethren are suffering from it everyday: Adultery, and all it entails (forgiveness, moving forward, preventing it, children from the affair, sexuality, etc). This segment will also cover things like smoking and lying. So tune every Thursday at 1:30pm for the next few weeks to be fed, healed, and delivered through the Word of God and wisdom of the Holy Spirit with Pastor Cyndi.

Today, Pastor Cyndi will be discussing Forgiveness. She gets into how to forgive an adulterous partner and healing scriptures for the emotional damage. Take a listen and be back next week for a semi break from marriage and adultery!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Praise the name of Jesus. Welcome back to have you heard.
Thank you all so much for joining me. I appreciate it.
Praise God. So I pray that you be blessed and
healed in your emotions from the trauma you have experienced
from your spouse, your husband, your wife having an adulterous

(00:22):
refa affair and producing a child from it. I'm Cynthia
in this podcast, and have you heard we're gonna talk
about forgiveness. Amen. Now we talked, as I said earlier,
about the spouse, your husband having an adulter's affair and

(00:46):
then there's a child and it works for both ways.
You know, the wife, your wife having an adulters a
affair and produce a child from it. You know, that's trauma.
That's you know, because you married your spouse with commitment
of love, respect, honor, trust, transparency, you know, open communication.

(01:16):
You know there's a commitment there, there's a covenant, a
marital covenant, and so there you go, and then this
ugly thing happened called adultery, and not only do your
husband or your wife have this affair with someone else,

(01:37):
but a child is produced from it. Oh my god,
that can be very traumatic for others. For some people
this you know, okay, let's move on. Let's but when
it's you know, like I said, I talked about the
husband producing a child from an affair. What about when

(01:58):
the wife produce as a child from an adulterous affair.
So I said, you know, there's three options she can consider,
and those options are adoption. You know, we move on

(02:21):
and raise the child together. There's an agreement there. What
an aim is three three where it says how can
two walk together unless they agree? So they have to
be an agreement there. Or should we divorce because you know,
adultters grounds for a divorce if that's what you two agree,

(02:44):
not you know, influence from family members or friends, or
something you've seen or heard. There has to be an agreement.
This is the behavior of true believers living in the
Kingdom of God here on the earth. We don't go
the world way. We do it God's way, and the

(03:06):
Bible say, how can we walk together unless we agree?
So there has to be an agreement. And for all
three of the options, and even in the husband adulterous
affair and producing a child, there has to be an
agreement between both parties. The husband and the wife. This

(03:29):
is God's way of doing things. But here it is
I don't know what he should know, what she should
know if he had, and I would have never know.
You want to stay together, It's hard, it's gonna be hid.
But the Bible says all things are possible with those
whom believe. That mean with God, it's possible with God

(03:50):
as looking for that partner. So the marriage can survive.
He can rekindle the flame, he can reconcile that marriage
in spite of the sin, the betrayal. And ma'am so.
So the common denominator of a husband having an adulterous

(04:11):
affair in producing the child of the wife having an
adulterous affair and producing the child is forgiveness. It's simply
forgiveness because when you forgive, it's not about you know,
not forgetting. I'm gonna get to that in a second.

(04:33):
When you forgive, you release resentment, anger and pain that
was caused by someone who hurts you. You don't let
it that spirit take root. M So you're forgiving because

(04:53):
the Bible tell us in Matthew six that we have
we forgive, and God will forgive us. Because with that forgiveness.
There is a lesson learned that you're able to see
that you're able to release, let go. Praise God. Yes

(05:15):
it's real, it happened. But I'm not going to let
my past hinder me from going forward, hinder my future.
I have some touch tough decisions to make in agreement
with my spouse. But the Bible also reminds us we're
not the first as going through what we're going through.

(05:38):
Praise God. I'm going to forgive. People say forgive and
forget now when Paul and Philippians three thirteen were saying,
forgetting those things which are behind, forgetting your from living
on your past accomplishments, and you know, your past awards

(05:59):
and promotion, Let that go to press towards living for Jesus,
living pleasingly before God, doing what is righteous, crucifying your
flesh at the autar every morning, putting down self and
saying all of you Jesus, and none of me. So
I'm gonna forget what helped me get here and what

(06:20):
I did. No, no, no, no, it's not important. What is
important is your will. Letting your will be done in
my life and for me, and your will is forgiveness Father,
and I'm forgiving, but I need your help, Lord, to
learn this lesson, not to forget what happened to me,
because then I'll forget the lesson. Because through the pain,

(06:45):
I've gained stress, I've gained knowledge, and I'm gained understanding,
and all thine getting get an understanding, and I have
gotten an understanding about trauma. This is traumatic for me,
and that means it's not the norm for my feelings

(07:06):
to be blown out of proportion like this, for my
emotions to be pulled down. But I do know, according
to your word, Father, and looked four eighteen, that Jesus
was sent to heal the broken hearted, not a battle
of alcohol, not going out party and not going out
sleeping with everybody to forget, because when all that is done,

(07:29):
said and done and over, the issue is still here.
My husband, my wife committed adultery and produced a child.
For me, I am hurt. It is traumatic for me.
I am torn up, and it wasn't right the pain
that was put upon me for no reason. When the

(07:53):
Bible say thou should not commit adultery, and it's even
considered adultery to look at a woman with lust in
your heart, Lord, what do I do? How can I
move forward? And that pain, It's gonna be hard to
agree about anything. That's why Jesus said it was a

(08:15):
musk for him to go away, to send us to
comforter the Holy Spirit, because only he can comfort us
in our time of pain and grief. He is the one,
the Holy Spirit, who will bring up the scriptures, which
is the word of God that is quick and powerful,
that has power to remove. God said, I sent my

(08:38):
word to heal you of all your diseases and to
deliver you from your destruction. The word Jesus is deliving word.
The Holy Bible is the written word. Says that Jesus
came to heal our broken heart. So we're gonna forgive,

(08:59):
and we're gonna ask God to heal our broken hearts
because that alone, the ability to let go. I know
it hurt. I know it was wrong, we all know.
We know it was sinful. But in order to move forward,

(09:21):
we're gonna forgive. We're not gonna forget because that wiseness
and makes us, you know, alert, keep us alert when
other things in the past we ignored. Just your wife
get always being dropped off at home. I don't need
to take my car, you know, someone in the office

(09:44):
can bring me home or and we didn't pay it
any attention. We thought it was innocent. Perhaps it was,
and it started out, but things got corrupt and man
twisted and we ignored at work when they always this
is my office wife, this is my husband wife. We
ignore that call on those things that are not as

(10:07):
though they were, and that was called to the point
that it caused an adulterous relationship. So stop saying that.
If you are saying it, your spouse is your spouse
at home and even at work. There's nobody at work
that you work that closely with that is entitled, that
is privy to be called your spouse, your wife, or

(10:29):
your husband. If that is the case, Brothers and sisters,
we need to find a new occupant. Cry out to
God because that is disrespectful to your spouse. That are
not be done. Nobody takes your spouse place God honor.
Is a marriage, not a friendship or a close woody

(10:50):
what it? No, this is my husband, this is my wife.
You are not allowed. You don't get the privilege of
calling my wife your office wife. Do you know what
you're saying my husband, your office husband? That is my husband.
My husband is supposed to treat honor all the women

(11:11):
on earth. He picked me, God chose me for him,
and I'm not going to give you that honor of
being called wife, and neither should he. We should understand
that your wife, that the husband picked, he's supposed to
prioritiize her and her needs and wants nobody else, nobody

(11:35):
Else's no other woman on earth get the place of
his wife. After God the Father got the Son, and
God the Holy Spirit, then is your wife and your children.
Nobody else. And it's the saying with the husband, God
the Father, God the Son got the Holy Spirit, and
then your husband, how your wife? The Bible say, and
we know the Ephesians the Lord tell the husband to

(11:58):
love their wives as Christ loves the church. So you're
supposed to treat her even when she's not there, as
if she's standing right there. Because el roy I, the
Gud who sees is watching. Many of your prayers are
hindered and promotions are delayed because of how you treat

(12:19):
your wife or or disrespect your wife. We'll have none
of that. When they're not riding other ladies around, we're
not bringing them lunch coffee. No, you're going to get coffee.
You go get coffee. It's nice to open the door
for all ladies, but you know you're opening up too

(12:41):
much of yourself when it's okay for you. You think
it's okay to go get other women coffee to take
them out for lunch, and I'm paying for to see
what they want while you're out and I'll pick that up.
Do your wife know you're doing that? Did you call
an actual wife? Can you do that? And it's the
same with the wives. Did you do your husband know

(13:04):
you're doing that? Did you call and ask your husband
to do that? Your husband? Could you do that? We
have to not open doors for adult for an an
adulterous affair to start. Amen. We gotta watch. The Bible
says watch as well as prey. And I know it's
just seem innocent, but we wrestle not with flesh and blood,

(13:27):
but with principalities and powers and rulers of darkness because
we're spirits. There's different spirits that don't have anything but
time to watch and wait and to try to wear
you dine down with the kindness of another person man
or woman in the office at the gym, you know,
so that something there can stop. Because that's why he says,

(13:49):
what you're gonna watch when I speak good morning, you know,
Billy Bob or bye Bob, because I'm not talking to
anybody specific. Oh hey, comminate, you tell me now. It's
just an example. Oh good morning, miss you know what
is it? Twinkie bar or something like that, and you know,

(14:11):
just that's how it is. But when you start delving
into their life, you're saying I'm interested and you are not.
Because you have a spouse at home, a husband at
home or wife at home, and it's good to be
courteous and polite walk in your office in the morning,
but you come in in a light with the light
of Christ. Good morning on how you are doing, Praise God.
And you go to your couple, your office wherever you at,

(14:34):
and you do your work, Praise Godden. If you have
to check, you know, files and stuff against others' files,
you do it in a godly respectable where you're not touching.
You're not trying to, you know, get somebody to like you.
God loves you. You are accepted in the belove. That
is more than enough a man, Amen, amd So you

(14:56):
know these are things you need to pray about. Lord,
set a watch of my mouth, keep the door on
my lips, go before me, make my crooked path straight.
Please help me to bless your light to shine, you know,
and let the Kingdom of God come into my talk.
Give me wisdom on what to say to people, so
it won't be appear or be flirtatious, because I want

(15:20):
to live. Pleasing me before you, Father, I asked us
in Jesus's mighty name, am'am, so it won't be all
this Well I committed I don't know what. And then
after the acts, you don't know what happened to you
or why you did it. Just like the enemy and
the garden, the snake, the serpent in the garden. As
soon as they did wrong was disobedience. Their eyes was open.

(15:43):
They oh, I'm pregnant. Oh I got her pregnant. Oh
my god, I don't know what happened. What no one?
No one led you to that secret place to plot.
It wasn't a plane you plotted. We could go be
here and take off our close or pull him down
and commit the act of adultery. That takes planning, plotting, strategizing,

(16:09):
making sure anybody gonna be a right and all of
that stuff. You had ample time where you was trying
to see if I go between now and my husband
won't be home or the kids won and all of
that stuff. My wife she going to the grocery store.
While instead of trying to plot to see how long
your sponse is gonna be gone, you should be crying out,
call your prayer partner, call your pastor call the prayer

(16:29):
line instead of well we can meet. No no, no,
no no, that's what you ought to be doing, instead
of plotting and planning so we won't have this trauma
in our marriages and say, oh, we love the Lord.
Loving the Lord, show him by living pleasingly doing what
he requires. He's merciful and he's extended grace and demonstrated

(16:50):
through his son on caval his love for you. Don't
trample his son's blood because you think you have no restraints.
That's why you get saved and get with the Holy
Spirit so that the scripture can bubble up in you
inside of you to help keep you from going and
doing wrong. The Holy Spirit is our umpire. You know,

(17:11):
plotting and planning to be with someone else is wrong.
You know that God put it in our house. You
know what's righteous, you know what's unrighteous. You know what's right,
and you know what's wrong. You're grown, even if you're not.
Everyone knows if you are married. Married people are off limits.
They have someone, they have a spouse, Praise God and

(17:31):
so then you know, so this won't happen. And now
there's a child produced from your adulterous affair. And some
people it's a process of forgiving and moving on, but
not forgetting. Don't forget that. So it helps sharpen your skills.
I said, let'son learn. I trust God and I trust

(17:53):
my marriage over to him because there's a marital covenant.
But I am gonna watch and pray, as the Bible say,
as I go through this, forgiveness but understanding, not forgetting,
so that I can watch, praise God and cry out
to God what I see. Things that I didn't pay

(18:15):
attention to before that I ignored. But now that I
went through this, I understand, and I know how to
pray about my marriage, my husband, my wife, my family.
Praise God. Yes, so yes, it hurts, But when you

(18:40):
cry out with the word and you fast and you
pray and remind God that you said you sent your
son to heal the broken heart. Lord, my heart is broken.
He'll usher in and he'll heal that hurt. He'll help
you to forgive, so that resentment and bitterness and anger

(19:03):
won't set in, and you won't wonder, and you won't
have to be wondering why your blessings, your prayers are
being hindered. What's wrong? Let it go. Yes it hurt,
and yes it may wound you, and yes it may
cause scars, but those are your battle scars. Jesus suffered

(19:24):
and went through and so have you. And that's why
he sent the Holy Spirit in a word, use it.
And you said, what, that's not enough, Yes it is.
It's more than enough. When you get an understanding of
the power of the name of Jesus and the power,
the all power, the power of the Word of God,

(19:47):
it will change you. It will clingse you listen the
healing power of Jesus. Heal the leopard. He'll open the
eyes of the blind. And you know for yourself, as
healed people with stage four cancer, all kind of diseases.
So don't you dare sit up there and let the
enemy be with you. But that's the word of God.

(20:08):
Is not enough, honey is more than enough. And you
use it, apply it to your daily life and all situations,
and you will live life where Jesus came to give
you in abundance. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. So yes, forgive
and seek the Kingdom of God, which is hope, peace, love,

(20:35):
and joy. Because when you love God, just like you
fell in love with whoever you fell in love with,
and you wanted to please them, you'll want to please Him.
You will forgive and keep crying out till there's a
manifestation of complete, absolute forgiveness and a healed broken heart.
It's possible with God. Amen and Amen. Don't let nobody

(21:01):
tell you any different. H to be a long time me.
It don't have to be a long tough for you
to get over that call those things that are not
as though they were. No ask God. The more I
ask him, power the Holy Spirit. Praise God and believe
because it's already been done One Peter two twenty four.
By his strips, you were here. You were already here,
Isaiah tell us, by his stripes, you are here. It's

(21:22):
just a time and a season for it to manifest.
So that's why you keep praising God for your healing
of your broken heart, for your deliverance from anger and
resentment from what has happened to you from this trauma. Amen. Amen,
in the battle is the Lord's Hallelujah. So with that

(21:43):
being said, I want to thank you all so much
for joining me, and I want to pray healing for
your broken heart due to an adulterous affair you committed
or your spouse, an adults's affair that produced the child.
Let us go boldly to the throne of God for

(22:03):
his grace, mercy and healing. We praying a prayer healing
Heaveny Father, in the name of Jesus. I thank you
so much. Thank you Lord for your son, our saving,
redeeming Christ, Jesus whose body hung on across for our
total healing, broken heart, healing of our emotions, healing and

(22:26):
deliverance from trauma, even healing for our bodies. Lord, many
have been through what the podcast was talking about, adultery,
being a a victim of adulterous affair, being the one
who committed the adultery, and Lord, a child was produced.

(22:50):
Their hearts are hurting, Father, help them to forgive I
know it's painful, forms and I'm aksing you to bless
the blood of Jesus to wash away the pain. You
said you sent him to heal the broken hearts. Jesus,
I asked you to heal their broken hearts in your name,
and I thank you, Lord, and I ask you, Father God,

(23:14):
to heal their bodies if there's any sickness or disease,
because you said you sent your word to heal all
diseases and to deliver from destructions, for you are the
God that heal it. And I thank you for restoring
health unto them, for healing their minds, for blessing them
to forgive release and let go. Lord, bless them and

(23:37):
their spouse and their marriage Father to walk in agreement.
Thank you, Father, thank you for healing them. Someone that
so hurt, they cry and crying. Lord, have mercy heal her.
She don't know what to do. May she go to
your word, Father God and find healing, peace and deliverance.

(23:59):
At this time, I am Lord in the name of Jesus.
I asks Lord, let the ones that was hurt that
this married couple used to sword or the spirit Father
God and the shield of faith to protect them from

(24:19):
the fiery darts of the enemy that might try to
attack their minds and their thoughts. The Lord said to
somebody to give it to him. Cat first, Peter five
in service, and cast your cares upon me. Give it
to him. Lord, I've been hurt. You are my redeemer,
redeeming my heart. Lord, you already have at cavalry. My

(24:41):
husband committed adultery and produced a child. Or my husband
committed adultery, and it's been revealed. You revealed it to me.
My wife committed adultery. You revealed it to me and
my wife, Lord God, committed adultery and produced a child
from this adulterous of fie. I don't know what to do.

(25:02):
I don't know if I can forgive her. Help me. Lord,
I cast this care upon you because you care. I
asks for peace in my mind and my heart. Lord,
remove this rage and anger for me from me. I
need you, Lord the blood of Jesus, help me. Lord

(25:26):
this I asks of you in Jesus's name and the
name that's above every name. I ma'am Jesus and your name.
Amen and amen peace. I speak peace to your hearts
and thank you Lord. I pray for reconciliations of those marriages,

(25:49):
and rekindle the fire. And bless to the mord of communication.
Lordless them both to forgive each other and to forgive themselves.
May they be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb
and filled with the Holy Spirit, so that they may
be guided by Him in all truth and righteousness that
will please you. And Jesus name I axe and I

(26:12):
thank you. Amen and amen, God, bless you all. Thank
you all for joining me. And joy do cometh in
the morning. Jesus loves you. Amen.
