Speaker 1 (00:00):
Praise the name of Jesus, and welcome, Welcome, welcome, welcome,
Thank you all, thank you, thank you, thank you so
much for joining me. I hope that the last podcast
about cigarette smoking, about the smoke, Praise God, was a
blessing to you all. And we're getting ready to move

(00:22):
into something a little bit differently than adultery. So I
want you all to listen up. Heymen, let us pray.
Have any Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank
you for this opportunity to learn that we may not perish.

(00:44):
Excuse me, Father, help us, Lord, help us to grow.
May this podcast be a blessing to all here that
they getting understand about lavender marriages. This we acts in

(01:04):
Jesus' name, AMAC, Praise God. And there you have heard it.
I am Cynthia and we're going to be talking about
lavender marriages on have you heard? Have you heard about
lavender marriages? Yes or no? AMAC. So one fact about
lavender marriages coming from marriage dot com is that it

(01:29):
got its name from the traditional colors of you know,
the sexes boy girl, and they mixed the colors together
and it came out with lavender. So that's a fact
for you there you have it. The lavender marriages so
so so so you know, a lot of people wanna
get married, and a lot of people married for a

(01:50):
lot of different reasons. Lot a lot, a lota. And
but what I do want you to know before I
go any farther, what I really really want you to
help Holy Spirit to know, is this is Second Timothy
three sixteen. With you what you read that for me?
Sweethearn dear sister, ma'am. All scripture is inspired by God

(02:13):
and is useful to teach us what is true. Hey, ma'am.
The scripture hold on All scripture, not some, is inspired
by who God Almighty, to teach us what what is
true and to make us realize what is wrong in
our lives. What is true and to make us realize
what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when

(02:34):
we are wrong. It corrects us when we are wrong,
and teaches us to do what is right, and teach
us correct and teaches us to do what is right. Alright, God,
bless you, thank you, Second Timothy three sixteen. That's what
we as believers go to. We go to the world.

(02:55):
We go to the word, not anywhere else someone else,
So something we made and we go to the world.
Let me tell you something. The word of God. It said,
the word of God is quick. Hebrews form to a
quick and powerful. Now see, we hear about things, and
you know, we get on the internet, social media, and

(03:17):
we hear things and we gravitate to it. That's why
we are to protect our eargates and our eyegates because
everything we hear, and we know this, but it bears
repeating is not good. It could become a bad influence
on us, a hindrance. So so we hear about lavender marriages.
Most people in the nineteen twenties, the golden era of Hollywood,

(03:42):
where they were marrying, you know, like a homosexual person
would marry a straight person so they can appear we're
talking about appearance to look normal because they didn't want
to lose their you know, their reputation and or their money,
cause they didn't want people to know that they were
this or they were that. So they you know, uh uh,

(04:06):
homosexual married heterosexual to like to cover up like a cover.
And you know some people were married just to get
gang you know, you know, and just like you know,
people feel assumed. Some people believe that if I married
this person. I don't have to love them, I don't

(04:26):
have to like 'em, but we can get together and
we can get gang. It was on the internet that someone,
a homosexual was aksing someone to marry them, just come
marry them so they can have stuff. And what was
the story. They wanted benefits like uh, tax breaks, cleaning

(04:48):
each other like that. Yeah, they wanted to to marry Look,
but it was just for gang. You know, we can
for tax breaks and we we could do this and
we can do that. But here's my Oh well, there's
nothing wrong with that. You know a lot of people
are saying that there's nothing wrong with that too. They
don't have to love each other. People in a Bible,

(05:10):
you know this that and listen, that's why we read
two Timothy three sixteen. We are to go to God.
Take everything to God in prayer. That sounds good, it
looks good, and it may even be good for this
person or that couple. But is it good? Is it
righteous for you? That's the question why. I don't know,

(05:32):
But there's nothing wrong with take it to God. This
is my encouragement before you jump into something you're not sure,
if you're not aware, or something that's not spiritually meant
for you. We are to protect. Listen, let me tell
you something. Our salvation is not a joke. Jesus gave
his life for our salvation. And because you hearing or

(05:54):
heard of these lavender marriages to get gain or to
look good, or because it's more or less like an
open marriage for some situations, or I don't know. Control
is that righteous? That is not part of your salvation.
We are to look like God. We are to follow Jesus.

(06:16):
Just a reminder here, don't get caught up in greed.
In the spirit of greed, well, I need a taxpayer.
Do you know who your heavenly father is. He's God Almighty,
And the Word said all things are possible with God.
It's possible to be delivered out of that tax break

(06:37):
and God to turn it around and make a frown
into a smile for you. With God, I mean you
got to be willing to surrender all and let God
use you and work through you. Praise God. So don't
get caught up and it looks good, sound good, feel good?
But is it righteous? Is it in a line with
the Word of God? What God wants you to do? Well,

(06:58):
you know, I just pray it asks for forgive it
because I know God love me. The issue is not
that God love you, because he does. He demonstrated that
and John three point sixteen. For God so loved the
world that he gave The question is do you love God?
Praise God? Because when you love God, you want to

(07:20):
do what God, Jehovah, our heaveny Father wants you to do,
regardless of your circumstances. What did Esther say, if I perish,
let me perish. I'm going to see the King. When
you perish, you going to see the King. This world
you can't take nothing with you, just like you didn't
bring nothing into it but yourself. Amen. Mary said, Lord,

(07:44):
let it be done, unto me what you want done.
It's about the will of God, not what looks good.
Praise God. What feel good is what's righteous. It's about
being obedient to God. So is this lavender marriage life
style for you? Praise God? Is it in a line
with the word of God? Before you even think about it,

(08:07):
think about the word, take it to God in prayer.
Ask God about it. Because you want a man or
a woman that's standing in the presence of God. Amen,
doing the will of God. Because God gave a lot
for you. He gave all he had the treasure of heaven.

(08:27):
A songwriter say was crucified. HM. American Marriage Ministry talks
about the marriage of Hollywood stars back in the nineteen twenties.
That's what they did to look good. It was all
about appearances so that somebody couldn't remain a homosexual. It

(08:52):
wasn't too heterosexuals, it wasn't too homosexuals. It was a
heterosexual with a homosexual to look good and to get gain.
And now it's kind of like, you know, I don't
care what's going on. Will you marry me so for
benefits or tax breaks? Ask God? Is this the one

(09:16):
you want me with? Is this the man or woman
you have brought before me for me to choose from.
It's not how you should want to ask God, because
once you locked in that marriage, you too have become

(09:37):
one in God's eyes. See, here's the thing we seem
to forget that we are spirit beings. First, when God
made us, he blew his spirit in us. The body
was not alive until he breathed him into us. He

(10:04):
deals with our spirit. To say, the word became flesh,
and ma'am became the Word was spirit and still is spirit,
and so are we. So we have to be careful

(10:24):
of the things we do and of our behavior, of
what we think we're supposed to be, thinking on things
that are good and things that are above walking in
His spirit to live pleasing before God is a lavender marriage.
Pleasing before God. Think about it, think about it. And

(10:50):
there's different types of lavender marriages, but I was talking
about the one I particularly, I got invested in and
interested in, you know, knowing about not into it, and no.
I just was like, hmm, I wonder how many people
are aware of this or considering this. I want you

(11:13):
to go to the Word. Go to the Word, because
that's where we go. It corrects us, it teaches us
because the Bible said the truth was set you free.
May not always feel good, but you go to the Word.
You take everything to God in prayer, get on your

(11:36):
knees and cry out to the Lord for answers. And man, hmm, yeah,
I thought about it. I said, you know, on the
next podcast, I'm just gonna mention it and remind them
the alignment stand in alignment with the Word and the

(11:56):
will of God for your life, for your life life
and take her to God in prayer. I'm Cynthia. Thank
you all for joining me. God bless you, and I'm out.
