Speaker 1 (00:00):
Praise the name of Jesus, our wonderful Lord and Savior.
How hallelujah, I'm welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, Thank you all
so much for joining me. At have you heard Hallelujah?
I am Cynthia, and I wanna know have you heard

(00:21):
that Christians have a question? Should Christians celebrate Halloween? This
is about two and I also want to add that,
well what should we do? Then? How should we celebrate it? Am'am?
So we're saying in part one that we shouldn't celebrate it?

(00:42):
Why even asks, well, how should we do celebrate it?
Or what can we do in its place? Why you
have to replace it? Ama? Just keep up your normal routine,
what you've done from the first of October due to
the thirty thirtieth. Just do that your daily routine. We

(01:06):
don't have to acknowledge that Halloween, you know, exists, because
we're gonna have something else will match it and do
this praise God. Why can't we focus on October sixth
through the thirteenth and our feast of Tabernacles, feast of booths,

(01:26):
celebrating and honoring because that is bringing honor to God,
because that's of life. It's something God ordained. We'll focus
on that. So we've had a week of celebrating, having
festivals and festivities. We don't have to take that one
day that the world darkness have took, taken and corrupt. Hey, ma'am,

(01:52):
so I want to read to you Second Corinthians four
and six. Hey, ma'am, Second Corinthians, the fourth chapter in
the sixth verse, read that for me, please and thank
you for God who commanded the light to shine out
of darkness. Hold on our heaveny Father, Jehovah commanded the

(02:14):
dark what he commanded the light. I'm sorry the light,
the light to shine out of darkness, to shine out
of darkness, AmAm, Amen, praise God. It's a command to
shine twenty four seven. Go ahead, have shined in our hearts,
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory

(02:35):
of God in the face of Jesus Christ. To give
the knowledge of God. Amen, to give the sorry, to
give the light of the knowledge of the glory of
God in the face of Jesus Christ, and the face
the light of knowledge. You say, it's the light of
the knowledge, the light of the knowledge and the glory
of God. To shine in the face of Christ. Jesus

(02:56):
in the face of Christ. Jesus. You know what that means,
his f faces our identity, Praise God. We don't forget
who we are or whose we are. Our identity is
in Christ Jesus, and it's always supposed to be there.
So I want you to aks yourself a question. What
would Jesus do? Amen? Would Jesus go to a Halloween party?

(03:23):
Would he dress up and go just to participate? Would
he even celebrate it? Would he a I mean, even
acknowledge it? Would he celebrate? Just think? Just think, praise God?
Would he say I'm gonna do something similar? Or would
he go to the tabernacle praying preach it like he did?

(03:45):
He went to the synagogues. He talked, he preached, he healed,
He fed the multitude about his father's business. So what
you want to do me? What do yourselves a favor
to be blessed? Ask God? That's that's always a good
thing to do, cause we're to take everything and every

(04:07):
need to God in prayer and wait for him to answer. Hallelujah.
What should I do in place this? How can I
you know, celebrate? And I don't know why you wanna cell,
but don't even ask God that well, I can't t
tell you what to ask God forgive me? I U
I apologize, Amen, What would Jesus do? And why am

(04:36):
I even interested in Halloween? How w I wanna replace
it with your daily routine? Just keep on doing. You
gotta get up and go to work, and you know,
drop the kids off at school, go to soccer practice
or swim meet, you know, and come home and go

(05:04):
over to homework with your kids, or maybe you have
Bible study or Joy night quiryhear so, you know, to
help the kids with their homework. Prepare dinner, serve dinner,
eat at the table, laugh and talk about your day
with your children, with your husband, with your wife, with
your family. Get up and take your bath, and everybody

(05:27):
bath and get cleaned up and go to bed. Say
your prayers, you know, half and we have family prayer,
pray and good night Praise God. I remember when my
children were younger and Halloween time came. I was adamant

(05:47):
about my children, do not celebrate Halloween. Praise God. And
to this dam my children will tell you that all
the Christians, they loved it because all the Christians they
would to the schools would take the children and put

(06:10):
the Christian children in another little room. They respected the
parents' requests. I wasn't the only parent and put them there.
Cause the schools had haunted houses and everybody dressed in costumes,
scaring and running on whatever. And they said, Mom, we

(06:34):
had so much fun. They played, they had Christian games,
and they had some of the best goodies, they said,
and there was no costumes, no haunted house, most nothing spooky.
Praise God and it was all how should I say holy?

(06:55):
And they had a wonderful time in the Lord, Praise God.
And you know, later on they went to private schools
and they didn't ama. They didn't celebrate it or acknowledge
it at all because it wasn't Christ. You know, it
was all about honoring Christ. And so that was that.

(07:17):
You know, nobody or what we're gonna do or how
should we celebrate it? Well, how can we replace it?
Don't replace it. You don't have to. And again my
go to is always ask God, because when you know,

(07:37):
Halloween come up for me and my family and we
be doing other stuff and whatever we're doing, never even
think about it. It's never considered because we already know
the light shines in darkness. We are to be beacon
lights in dark places. I'm not gonna have my house

(07:57):
decorated and all this stuff, the island of the dead
and all that, because my God is living, He's alive,
not dead. I remember, before I knew any better, knew
the truth about Halloween and the darkness's attached to which
witchcraft and spirits like that. I used to celebrate it,

(08:18):
my husband and I. I used to celebrate and decorate
and have my pumpkins and I had a cat. Now
put it just God just having a good time, and
I let the cat be walking around the pumpkins and
to stuff, having a good time, I thought. And then
one day, AmAm, the Lord blessed me with the truth

(08:46):
of what that day they did. Evil people try to
make it represent but the light shines AmAm and I.
And it's been years. I no longer celebrated or celebrate Halloween,
never even think about it, not concerning that. We used
to not only decorate our house, we'd have a big party,

(09:10):
me and my husband and all our friends and they
drinking and just doing everything, and then we would leave
and go to the club to have the party at
the cuse it depends on like if it was Halloween
was on a Friday or Saturday, and that's what we did,
praise God. And then our children came along. We start
having children and going to church more and more, and

(09:36):
the Lord blessed. I was set free by the truth,
the Word of God. I was like, what And I
didn't want that. Those evil spirits dressing my children up
in costumes that I'm not even aware that have deemon
demonic spirits attached to it and put them on masks

(09:56):
or makeup, and spending all this money, mask so expensive.
I didn't want that for my children. I was more
concerned about their spiritual life than any other thing in
the world. Their spiritual life, their education, and family. That's
how it was for me. And to this day, my

(10:17):
children have finished college and they don't know. I never
had any kickback or any problems when we want to
celebrate Halloween, because the Bible say train up a child.
They were trained that that does not honor God. Hallelujah.
But they know the truth. Dad used to do it,

(10:38):
and I told them if it was that great and
pleasing to God, we would still be doing it. But
I decided that I loved Jesus more because I can
have fun on my favorite time of the year, Christmas,
when my Savior came from heaven to earth Amen to
reconcile me back to the Father. That's my favorite holiday,

(10:59):
that's my Amen. And I love it and I want
my children to love it too, because that's something their
savior did. It helps them, along with Resurrection Day slash Easter,
to know and grow and their Savior and understand what
he did for them, that they mean that much to them.
He came from heaven to earth and did it all

(11:19):
in sacrifice instead of them. And so when it comes
to Halloween for me and my house is Josh said,
we're gonna serve God. We don't acknowledge that, we don't
think about it. It's not important to us because God
has gave us Rashashana, the feast of booths, and what
is Christmas? And you know, the New Year Rasashana, I said,

(11:43):
and our children's birthdays, our wedding anniversary, vacation, sobod, praise
God God, should we be celebrating this? And I don't
even think to asks because, like I said, I was
set free and I did not want my children raised
up wearing stuff and what the Bible tell us, don't

(12:03):
give place to the devil. Don't let him get a foothold.
I didn't want them letting a foothold or giving place
to the devil through demonic spirits. And you can't figure
out why they di and why they that and now
and so they were taught, no, we don't do that,
and to go to school, could you not? You know,
my children don't celebrate it. And thank God my children

(12:25):
wasn't weren't the only one. There were plenty of other
parents too that they didn't allow their children to celebrate Halloween.
And then God blessed them. We were able to afford
the other schools. Praise God, who had you know, no
dealings with Halloween? Praise God? And so I thank God

(12:47):
for that. And now they know better. They've set freely
part them a lack of knowledge. So when you know,
you receive that knowledge, you act on. And I thank
God for that, cause again I thought I was having fun.
I'm like, oh Lord, you have to repent, repent of that.
And now my children they write out of calls about it,

(13:09):
like we're believers greater see that is in us, this
wonderful things acts God. We don't have to try to
replace it, you know, do something to match it. We
just keep our daily routine where we was doing on
the thirtieth, twenty ninth, twenty eighth, Praise God. That's what

(13:30):
week do. We just keep right on. They don't even
know it's halloweenerations. I put my harvest stuff, my little
pumpkin cause I like to decorate Ama in November, and
that's that. And then of course we can't wait to
after Thanksgiving to put up on a beautiful Christmas decoration
because my king. This is the King's birthday. This is

(13:52):
the King's birthday, and I am going to celebrate it.
This is at Vent, the day of arrival of faith.
Excuse me, Hope, peace, love and joy, hallelujah, thank God.
So that's my time. And you want to know shell
Christians celebrate Thanksgiving? Is there any light to it? Amen?

(14:17):
I mean not Thanksgiving Halloween. I say Thanksgiving, Lord, forgive
me Halloween where they're doing dark things and dark stuff
and his death, Praise God. No, Jesus came to give
life and he is light. Halloluh. When Jesus came from
heaven and earth was people herod. Them wanted to kill him,

(14:39):
but was people killing and killing animals and making sacrifices
and having seances. No, the angels were heroding. The kings
came bringing gifts. Amen. And so we celebrate, We announce
our Savior's birth and what he did for us. And
it's so right to give gifts. People tell me I
prefer Thanksgiving over Christmas? Why because they don't want to

(15:02):
spend money. Then don't you could celebrate Christmas over buying
people one hundred, three hundred, five hundred and fifteen hundred
dollars gifts? Praise God? Asks God? What can I do
to celebrate in a godly way that bring honor and
glory to your son? You know people want to buy gifts. Lord,
I don't have the money. What can I do? Tell them? Amen?

(15:22):
Praise God? No shame in your game. Well, honey, I'm
getting my budget together, So right now I could just
say a prayer for you, or sing a song, or
bake your cake or just bless you know God, it's
about Jesus anyway, But we want to be like Jesus
and gifts. So that's fine, Amen, And that is my time?
So what can you do to replace it? For me?

(15:45):
I say, keep up your normal routine and getting up
in the morning, putting God first and seeking the Kingdom
of God. Am'am God bless you all. I speak peace
to your health, and if anyedsbody sick, I say be healed,
and command all susperusive sickness and disease to go in
Jesus' mighty name. That is my time. I am Cynthia,

(16:06):
hope you enjoy it, and I am out
