Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, everyone, let us praise the mighty name of our
Lord and savior, King Jesus. Is that all right, our
miracle worker and waymaker. Thank you all for joining me.
I love it, glad to have you and welcome. We
have been talking about several different topics, but today this topic.

(00:24):
I wanna bless you, Praise God, bless those who God
has delivered from smoking. But they're struggling with it. You know,
they feel like they want to go back because of
life circumstances. It's just kind of hard for them because

(00:45):
some people were extremely heavy smokers. So I wanna encourage
you and edify you in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Hey, ma'am,
let's go. This is Cynthia with have you heard praised
the name of Jesus. So many people have smoked, and
our Hea, any Father, through his son Jesus has delivered

(01:09):
them from cigarette smoking. Yes, and many have been delivered
for years and you know they maintained their deliverance. What
a blessing, Thank you Jesus. Some because of life, you know,
life happens, trauma, various problems, financial problems, relationship, marriage, what

(01:39):
have you, they have turned back to smoke it or
feel like you know this is gonna help calm them
or relax them, praise God. So they have that one smoke,
which unfortunately for some makes you keep having his smoking,

(02:00):
and then you got to go through the process all
over again to be delivered from that addiction cigarette smoking. However,
some standing they don't mind. I remember years ago my
father in law had the Lord delivered him from smoking.

(02:26):
And I believe, you know, he was delivered, and God delivered,
you delivered. But some people sometimes they go back. Well,
they slip, like I said, things happen, And he told me,
he said, said, I gained so much weight when I

(02:47):
quit smoking. I was eating everything, putting everything in my moum, candy, peanuts,
pressed us food, all kinds of it, didn't matter food
or didn't like. And we were laughing. It was a joke.
But he had gained where and he said, and I
went back to smoke and because it helped cut my appetite.
And some of you are like that, like my father
in law, he went back, praise Scott to cigarette smoking.

(03:15):
And sure, oh maybe not Shortly a few years or
a couple of years later, my mother and my husband,
who used to smoke, were got delivered them from cigarette smoking.
And my mom was delivered first before my husband, and

(03:35):
she was so happy. She said she would call me.
She said, Cynthia, pray. She said she was in a
couple of days and several weeks she said, I'm doing good,
but I still get that urge and I don't want
to go back. I know I'm delivered. Said, yes, that urged.

(03:58):
That's the devil. He will try to tempt you, lure you,
but you stand and having done our stand because God
has delivered you. And so then my husband, the Lord
delivered him from smoking, and he would call my mother
and ask her, how did you do this? She said,

(04:19):
And you know, I was so thankful because Mom, give
God all the glory. She said, yeah. I felt like,
even though I knew I was livered, I delivered. I
had to know I was delivered and not, you know,
let circumstances lure me back, because if God, you know,
she was testifying to witnessing you and he was like yeah, yeah.

(04:39):
And they would have their little talks from time to time,
but it has been years and neither of them have
gone back to smoking. They stood. I didn't say it
was easy, So that's why I'm here to encourage you,
those of you who are struggling with that cigarette smoking
and you want to make maintain your deliverance, cause God

(05:01):
surely has well, why is it so hard? Maybe a
short environment. God delivered me, and I know I'm delivered.
For some people that's it they you know, and some
people they say they went cold Turkey Bill. When God delivers,
he's delivered, He delivers you. You don't have to fall back.
It doesn't have to be a struggle when we get

(05:22):
in Christ and apply the word, Hey, ma'am, praise God.
So that's why I want to talk to you about
staying delivered from cigarette smoking, not returning. The Bible says
and James what.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
This says it?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
And I can't hear you.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
And James, it's not James.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
It's actually I'm sorry, Peter. I'm I've been saying, James.
When it talks about what.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
One Peter one and fourteen as obedient children, do not
conform to the evil desires you had when you lived
in ignorant.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Y Ay, ma'am, praise God. Do not conform to the
evil designs you had when you lived in ignorance. Now
it also says the word of God says, it's like
a dog returning unto vomit. Praise God. And that scene

(06:20):
is like, oh God, really, but that that's exactly what
our word says, you, ma'am.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Praise God says it in two Peter two and twenty
two of them the proverbs are too a dog returns
to its vomit.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yes, so we don't want that. Praise God. So when uh,
our first scripture tell us we lived in ignorance, uh,
people pairs from a lack of knowledge holds that four
and six. Now. The reason why it was ignorant because
a lot of people don't know the origin of smoking

(06:59):
or the spiritual aspect of smoke. Cigarette smoking. Many many, many,
many many years ago, the Native Americans would go to
the shaman praise God. Who would use tobacco and I
talked about this before in smoke form put it in

(07:21):
a pipe and I'm gonna get to that in a minute,
to communicate and connect with their gods, Praise God. And
it's also from coming from the Britannica that covenant smoking.
You put your tobacco in a pipe and you would

(07:43):
pass it from person to person, you know how you
see me? Some people pass cigarettes and then give me
a hit or drag or whatever they call it, I
don't know. And they would pass cigarettes. Well way back when, amen,
way back when people wanted to connect with their gods.
They would put tobacco in a pipe and smoke it

(08:04):
and pass it from person to person. And this was
them making a covenant. What covenant, I don't know, but
that's what they did. So when you look at other
people who are smoking and passing a cigarette Praise God,
and you seeing the smoke come from the cigarette Praise God,
is like, hmm, do they know what they're doing. It's

(08:27):
like symbolic of the Native Americans going to the shaman
to communicate and connect with their God through smoke, cigarette smoking,
praise God. And so you saying, well, wow, well, so
what that has to do with me. Romans twelve and
one say, what present present your bodies as a living sacrifice.

(08:52):
You didn't pay for your bodies when you got saved, am'am.
It was because the Holy Spirit drew you to the Lord,
Praise God, and you believed and accepted the works of
our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, Praise God. And with
that accepting your salvation, we are now living in the

(09:12):
Kingdom of God here in the earth on earth, praise God.
And so so in his kingdom we have to as
the King's citizens in his kingdom, we oblige the King.
We do what the King says. We oblige him through
his laws. Amen. And so the King said, present your

(09:35):
bodies as a living sacrifice. Some things you're going to
have to deny, resist and fight and stand on the
world so that you would look continue to look like
God's children in his kingdom and out in the world
to witness, be a witness for the Lord. You're gonna
continue to look like his image and likeness. Praise God

(09:57):
like the royal priesthood, that you are prout of glory Hallelujah.
Because here's the thing. Christ is in us and we
are in Him. We are seated in Christ in heavenly places.
When we are in Christ, Praise God, then we you know,
we're facing God. When Christ is in us, Praise God.
Then we can face the devil and resist. Praise God.

(10:20):
So that's what we got to remember, who is in
us and who we are in Praise God. That we
can use the weapons Praise God because of the Bible
that God has given us our armor our government of
praise the sword of the spirit, because we are God's
children given dominion over the enemy. Praise God. He is

(10:43):
a defeated foe. He has no legal right, and don't
give it to him. Through temptation and getting weak. Perhaps
it's the environment that you are in that's causing you.
And when you come to a problem, all you got
to do is we first Peter five and seven, tell
us cast it upon Jesus. Praise God. That's what you
You don't have to return back to what God has

(11:07):
already delivered you from. He said, it's like a dog
returning unto vinment. Present your bodies a living sacrifice. Now
you know the truth about smoking. Where it looks like
you know some of its origin, you shouldn't want to
have anything to do with it. Stand on your word,
use the sword of the spirit to resist the temptation

(11:28):
to flee from you. Praise God. The Bible say, give
us this day our daily bread and lead us not
into temptation. That's to prayer Jesus, with some inside of prayer,
ask God to lead you. Praise God, yield to the
Holy Spirit, the one who's our umpire, the one who
leads us into all truth and righteousness. That means it's

(11:48):
time to stay on your face before God. This means
that it's time for you to continue to feel and
to there's an overflow of the Word of God in
your spirit, because nothing defeats Satan except for the world.
Because see, he's a defeated foe, and he knows the truth.
He's defeated. But do you know. So therefore, you don't
have to give in to that urge praise God to

(12:11):
get a cigarette. Because this and that has happened. You
can keep your foot on the devil and be like Peter,
keep your eyes on Christ and walk over that temptation.
You are already delivered. You are already healed. So stay
set free through the word of God. Amen. Amen, Amen,

(12:31):
Preach Preacher, Amen. Hallelujah to Jesus, Hallelujah to Jesus Father.
We thank you. You are holy in onniplety. You are
our God, You are our healer and our provider. You

(12:52):
are our deliverer. You can deliver us cause you want to,
and you have from smoke in any other addiction. We
trust you to deliver us because we know you're able.
Not only that, Lord, you're able have any Father to

(13:12):
do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we may ask
or think. Let that abundantly Father, God do exceedingly by
helping us to stay delivered from cigarette smoking. This we
asks you heave any Father in the mighty name of
your son. I wur Savior, King Jesus, and we thank you,

(13:35):
and we thank you Father. There's none like you, There's
none like you. Thank you for this deliverance keeping us
free perfect health. I pray for healing. I speak healing
to your bodies, anyone that's sick out there with any
kind of sickness or disease, In the name of Jesus.

(13:58):
I speak to your body and say, bodies be healed,
be made whole in the name of Jesus. In the
name of Jesus. And those of you who have not
stop smoking, pray. I asked, got with you and agree
with you that God will deliver you. A ma'am, praise

(14:23):
God and am'am. Some people want to know, do you
believe if smoking hindering the prayer can hinder your prayers?
That's a question. Do you believe that then you need
to get on your face before God and seek care
because you belonged to him. He paid a price for

(14:47):
you through his son on cavalry. His blood was shed.
Did you see Jesus Have you read Jesus was smoking
a hey, ma'am, and we are to be like Jesus.
There you have it. That's my time, and I'm so

(15:08):
thankful that you know you join me. And God has
cleansed your temple from cigarette smoking, from the desire and
the urge of it. That's what I wanna say, Lord,
cleanse that, remove that urge and that desire, that temptation
to s return back to that smoking. This I ask
in Jesus' name, and I thank you Jesus, praise your

(15:30):
mighty name. Don't forget to give all your problems over
to Jesus and to want by faith and not by sight.
Remember that you are healed. It's already been paid for.
You must believe it. Hey, ma'am. God bless you, and
I will see you again. This is Cynthia and I'm
signing out from Have you heard
