Yesterday, I was driving down theroad and I was doing the speed limit,
which was fifty five. Actually Iwas doing about sixty. But I
could tell that the white truck andback of me was very inconvenienced by my
slow driving because he come up aroundme and he had his accelerator to the

(00:39):
floor and blue smoke was a flyingas he flew around me, probably at
about eighty miles an hour, andI could really tell I was inconveniencing him.
Welcome to Healing Me Agains. Myname is Pastor Gail, and the
segment it's called Inconvenienced. And knowwhat you're doing this morning or where you're

(01:02):
at. Maybe you're driving in yourcar, maybe you're at home. But
I'm just going to talk about beinginconvenienced. You know, I was in
Walmart one time in the checkout laneand it was going really, really slow.
And I've learned now to say tomyself, if things are going slow

(01:22):
and I'm being inconvenienced, who isit, Lord that you have me to
talk to? And so Romans eightfourteen says for those who are led by
the spirit of God are the childrenare God. And we are to be
led by the spirit every single day. So if you are ever inconvenience,

(01:44):
you should ask yourself, Lord,why you know I remember being held up
by a detour and if I wouldhave been there a little bit earlier,
if I hadn't been held up furtherdown on the road in my trip,
I had got in a car accident. So God actually spared me from a
car accident by inconveniencing me by adetour. And so many times, like

(02:09):
even in when you go for fastfood and you go into Burger King or
Wendy's, if we are not gettingour burger right away, we are inconvenience,
we get upset. So I've askedso many times, Lord, if
I'm inconvenienced, who is it thatyou want me to talk to? So

(02:29):
I'm going to talk this morning aboutmy trip to the Pastors Conference in New
Orleans, Louisiana. It was inJuly in twenty twenty two, and so
we flew into New Orleans. I'venever been there before. I had Rod
and Pat with me and they're onmy spiritual care team. It was an
amazing trip. But we flew in. The flights went well, everything went

(02:53):
well. I took some podcast channelcards with me so when I'm talking to
people about Jesus, we have apodcast channel too, called Healing Begins,
and I'll give people information about thepodcast channel, the radio show where it's
on, where it plays, whattime it plays, so people can actually

(03:14):
go back and listen to this later. And so we arrived in New Orleans
and we had booked a hotel thatthe airline said was supposed to be really,
really good. But when we gotto the hotel, it was twenty
minutes away from the church. Itwas Covenant Church where the pastor's conference was

(03:34):
going on at with Jesse Duplantis.And we get to this hotel and you
could really tell that this hotel hadbeen hit by Katrina. I mean,
the hotel itself needed a lot ofwork, and you could really tell our
rooms weren't what we were told theywere going to be in all this,

(03:57):
and the temptation was to leave,but we couldn't because we couldn't get a
refund. So I remember saying toRod and Pat, I said, you
know, if we're here and itseems like an inconvenience, then obviously there
are people that God is intending usthat he wants us to talk to.
And so That's the attitude I've learnedto take, which is not an easy

(04:19):
attitude, because when you're inconvenienced,you're more apt to I have a bad
attitude. I remember when I wasa Bible college student up in Canada.
I was flying from Michigan to Sussexand Brunswick, Canada. So I had
to go to Toronto and I hadto go to Saint John. But when

(04:40):
I flew in Toronto, there wasa big inconvenience, a big delay in
immigration. And when I got tomy flight, I got to the gate,
I watched my plane take off intothe sunset, and so I went
to the counter and there was abunch of anger people that had missed their
flight too, and they were givingthe lady a really hard time. This

(05:05):
was going to be a big convenienceinconvenience, because, for one, I
knew that I could not get tomy destination where I wanted to go that
day without that flight that just tookoff. So everybody else was hollering and
yelling at the counter. But Iwent to the counter and I just said
hi, and she goes hi.I said, I just saw my plane

(05:28):
fly into the sunset. She goes, I know, we're so sorry about
that. And I said, well, can you help me? I'm an
international student. Is there anything youcan do for me? And boy,
you know what, because I hada good attitude, she said, the
shore is, I'm going to putyou on another jet and fly you to
Montreal. We're going to put youin a hotel. We're going to pay

(05:50):
for it, and the next daywe will fly you to your destination.
How's that? And she set meall up. It was wonderful. And
so the thing is God had designedfor me to talk to somebody on the
jet, not who I expected,I will tell you that. So there
was a lady sitting right next tome in the jet. She was French.

(06:13):
She couldn't speak much English, butwe managed to converse. And she
was a lady who did not knowthe Lord. She said she was a
tabletop dancer. I think that's thefirst time I ever met a tabletop dancer.
Back then, I was very ignorantof what one of those does.
She goes, what do you do? I said, I'm a pastor,

(06:33):
but I could tell she didn't knowwhat that was. So I put my
hands in the form of a prayingand I said, Priest and she goes
Ah. So I had a chanceto witness to her about Jesus before we
got to Montreal, and then thenext day I flew to my destination.

(06:55):
You know, when you're inconvenience,so many times there are people that God
has designed to come across your path, and maybe even hearing this tonight,
you're planning to hear a different programor I don't know what you were planning,
but maybe you're like, well,I wasn't expecting this. Well,

(07:15):
the Lord has a message for you. He loves you, he cares for
you, and he has a planfor your life. So back to New
Orleans. So we got to NewOrleans, and boy, the Pastor's conference
was amazing. There were people therefrom all over the world. I met
Rick Renner, who is the authorof Sparkling Gems, and Jonathan Shuttlesworth,

(07:40):
the evangelists, I met him andhis wife. Just wonderful people there from
all over the world. And wejust brought a Spanish gallop on board here
with us in Hastings because we've gota big Spanish ministry developing here. And
then I realized that Jesse as theplanets brother plan is pushing into the Spanish

(08:01):
area there, so there were connectionsall around inconvenience many time as never an
inconvenience, but it's just an opportunityto minister and to touch people who God
puts across your path. And bythe way, staying at our hotel had

(08:22):
another problem. Many of the taxisdid not want to come to this hotel.
Many of them would get canceled beforethey come out. They would cancel
while they're on the way they wouldrealize where they were going. We were
using Uber and lyft and all theseplaces to try to get rides back into

(08:43):
and from the church. Thank Godfor another girl named Sarah that we met
staying in our hotel who had someThe lift drivers planned ahead of time to
pick her up, so we woundup riding with her and her with us,
and she became a part of ourcrew. She was young and in
New Orleans going to the same conference. So we began to tip our lift

(09:07):
drivers at amazing what a tip willdo? I want to share this with
you. We had a lady thatcome out she was an Uber driver to
pick us up and I'm sitting inthe front seat and she's telling me about
her daughter who died three times,and God brought her back and she's talking
about her life, and I'm talkingto her about Jesus, and I could

(09:31):
really tell she needed to rededicate herlife to Christ. And we were talking
about Jesus. You know, hertaxicab had a crack in the windshield.
You could tell that it was anice vehicle, but that you can hear
from this lady. She had beenthrough a rough time. And so as
we were driving and I'm witnessing aboutthe Lord, I reached in my wallet

(09:54):
to give her a twenty for atip, and I heard the Lord say,
don't you dare give her a twenty. You give her that hundred.
And I stopped because you know,sometimes that small voice is exactly that,
a small voice. You can easilyignore it and give her the twenty and
not the hundred. So I reachedmy wallet and I pulled out the hundred,

(10:18):
and I said, this is foryou. And she started crying,
Oh, my gosh, no onehas ever done that for me, No
one has ever given me a hundred. And as we talked, she broke
down and she cried, and shegave her heart to Jesus Christ. Before
we could get to the meeting,she rededicated her life to Christ. In

(10:41):
fact, Rod was in the backseatgoing Gail, there's a car. There's
a car. I mean, wewere talking and she was crying and Rod
kept us from an accident. Thankyou Rod. And she accepted the Lord
into her heart as her savior.It was just a really, really great
time. And then I want totell you. In our rooms, you
know, we have our ladies thatwill come in when you're gone and take

(11:05):
care of your room and clean theroom. And when we were leaving,
I was going to leave the housecleaning lady a small tip five dollars,
not much, but showing some appreciationfor their hard work and care. And
so when I opened my door,she was right by my door and then

(11:26):
I said, hey, I wantto give you a tip. I want
to give you a little something forcleaning my room. And oh, thank
you so much. Man. Shejust was like so grateful for five dollars.
And then I said, is thereanything that I can do for you?
And she said yeah, I haveterrible pain through my whole body.
I'm just in a lot of pain. So I said, okay, can

(11:52):
I pray for you? And shegoes, yeah, So we just sat
there out in the hallway and Iprayed with her and she goes, I
can't believe it. She said,as you were praying, all the pain
left my body. The pain isgone, completely gone. And I was
like wow. And then Rod andPat came out of their room and joined

(12:15):
us, and she goes, Inever thought any of this stuff was real.
And I said, well, wereyou able to bend over before?
Not very well, she said,so she bent over, She had no
pain. She was just rejoicing inthe Lord. And so what a blessing
to be able to She was oneof the people got planned for me to

(12:37):
meet. And I said, doyou know Jesse to plant this? She
goes, yes, I do.And I said would you like one of
his books? She goes yeah.So I gave her the book I never
learned to doubt. And I gaveher some of the bags that I got
from the conference for her. It'slike stuff you can carry things and they
give you when you buy stuff atthe store. It was just a tremendous

(12:58):
time of being led by the spirit. No matter where we went, we
testified about Jesus. And right nextto the hotel, thank god, we
had a Japanese restaurant and it wasran by Vietnamese people. It was a
great restaurant. We were able totalk with them about the Lord. Eat
at that restaurant, leave really goodby. It's really important if you're a

(13:22):
believer to leave a really good tipon that table because it really opens the
door to minister to people about Jesus. So the presence of God was with
us everywhere we went, and everybodythat waited on us got a really good
tip so that they would be blessed. Because you know, there's a lot

(13:46):
of people hurting out there today.I'm probably talking right now to a lot
of people. You're out there hurting. You don't got to go to New
Orleans to find hurting people. Youcan find them right here locally, right
here in Grand Rapids, Hastings andHolland wherever you're listening to this. I
know there's hurting people that need atouch from the Lord. And you know

(14:07):
something, kindness and generosity goes along way. And not only that,
Jesus said, whenever you give tothe poor, you give to the Lord
and he will repay you. Sowhenever you take care of people right,
God has a way of repaying you. God has a way of paying that

(14:30):
back. So if you're inconvenience,it's just a setup for an opportunity for
you to minister to someone. Andso as I was thinking about that,
we went into our services in thechurch man every It was a visionary conference
and the title was go do theWork. And what an incredible conference.

(14:52):
You know, I love the presenceof Jesus, and I love being in
the service when the present of Jesusis there and you can feel the presence
of the Lord and his peace,and you know, and I pray that
right now for all those that arelistening to me right now, all those
that are going down the road intheir car, are sitting in their house,

(15:15):
maybe you're at work, maybe you'reworking and you're hearing this program,
I pray right now for you thatthe presence of the Lord would invade the
space you were in, that youwould literally feel his peace, his love,
and that He is taking care ofyou. And so the conference was

(15:37):
really really good. And on thelast night, one of my favorite things
that Brother Jesse did, he lovesto sing his song that he sang the
song what a Wonderful World, AndI just love it. He was singing
and we were all singing, andthe presence of God was there and it
was really, really great. AndI've got to be honest. After that

(16:00):
conference and after listening to him alittle bit, I ripped up my old
vision and made my vision a lotbigger, because you know, there's a
lot more people out there that Godwants to help. And you might say,
well, why one Am, whyare you on at one am in
the morning. It's because one Amis where God has designed me to be.

(16:23):
It's where he wants my voice ashis voice to reach people and touch
people that are hurting. I giveyou an example of this. We had
a recent testimony of a guy namedChuck. He wants his testimony shared.
He said he was laying in bedin pain, and he has terminal cancer

(16:44):
and he was really hurting, andhe was listening to his favorite radio program
and as he listened, all ofa sudden, the Healing Begins program came
on the air, and as helistened, the presence of the Lord filled
his room, and all of asudden, the pain he was in left

(17:06):
his body and he was able tofall asleep and get a really good night's
rest, and he got a holdof me by email, and if you

com. He emailed me about histestimony about whom he was touched by the

(17:27):
Lord through the program. And thenI found out where he lived over in
Grand Rapids, and I called oneof our churches that were connected to and
she mobilized a lady who loves topray for healing for people, and she
went and went to his house,anointed him with oil, prayed for him

(17:49):
and prayed for his healing. AndI believe she's even gonna go to the
hospital and visit him too. Sowherever you're at, whoever you are,
I want to take the time andI want to take the time to pray
for you right now. Lord,I pray for those that are listening,
especially those that are under financial stress. Right now, Lord, you are

(18:15):
Jehovah, Jirah, You are Godour provider, and I pray for those
that are under financial stress that youwould provide for them and bring them the
finances they need. Lord, Ipray for those that are sick, those
that might be laying in the hospital, or you might be in your home

(18:37):
or you're dealing with some type ofcancer or sickness in your body. Lord,
I thank you that it says byyour stripes they are healed. And
I release right now in the nameof Jesus, thy healing and anointing to
go over the airwaves and into theplace where everybody's at and begin to touch

(18:59):
physical bodies and relieve pain and raisethem up. I pray for those today
that are suffering from depression. Father, may the light of your presence break
the depression and just may your lightfill wherever they're at, and may your
peace surround them right now, inthe name of Jesus, I thank you.

(19:23):
I'm reminded of the scripture that saysGod has not given you a spirit
of fear, but power, loveand a sound mind. Lord. I
pray for those that feel like they'reinsignificant, that no one cares for them.
I pray this morning that through myvoice, Lord, they would hear

(19:45):
your voice that you care for them, that you created them, and that
they're not a mistake. Lord.I thank you for all that you're doing
and all you're gonna do in thefuture. Lord. Are those that are
worried about the future, maybe theycan't make the rent, maybe they can't
make their mortgage payment. Lord,I just pray that you would come alongside

(20:08):
them and help them. I prayfor those that are looking for a job.
Maybe they're out of work. Father, you know the right job.
I pray for the right job forthem, and I pray that you would
bring that job to them and showthem where that job's at, and may
it be better than the one theyjust lost. And I pray for those

(20:30):
that want to be used more byGod, those that want to flow in
the Holy spirit. Lord, Ijust pray that you would anoint them and
that you would help them to understandwhen there's an inconvenience, it's nothing more
than an opportunity to minister to someonewho is hurting. Lord, I thank

(20:53):
you so much for all your love, for all your kindness, for the
way you care for us, andthe way you look after us, even
when we don't think you're looking afterus. In Jesus' name. Amen.
