Listen, if you have felt or still are feeling like unaccomplished because you are still vey much single, unmarried, childless and still impatiently waiting for God to FINALLY send you your other half, well, I have found some reassurance truth in the Word that has overcame decades of society's pressure, in regards to getting married. Well...It did to me! (lol)

I dunno who decided that everybody was meant to have the same path in life or gifts...? Could it be found in the Word?

Disclaimer. The atmosphere you're about to enter will suscitate questioning, opinions, conversation, thinking,
growth or not. Be informed that what you're about to
hear is not from an expert, and remember that there
is specialist. An expert that there is is Elohim himself. Now,

(01:06):
if you may, let's get comfortable and enjoy.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Hi am, my beautiful loving souls. How are you doing?
How's work? How's your family? How's your life? But most
importantly how easy relationship with God? I hope you are
doing fun And if you do not, I know I
repeat it all the time, do not despair, for it
is a season and that there will be briddays coming.

(01:36):
As for me, I am doing great. I have currently
the sun that is just beaming on my face. I
feel alive, another day, another opportunity. So I'm grateful and
thankful to God. For those of you who do not
know me, my name is Rita a Ka Babyface, and
I want to welcome you into this podcast. That is

(01:56):
here is Eden. So if you are a new listener,
I want to say God, yes, we celebrate you. If
you are a regular listener, yes, so welcome to Hero's
Eden podcast, which mission is to serve and respond to

(02:17):
the needs of Christian celebate and where we also speak
about relationship in general. If you are a regular you
know how we do. So before I can keep on speaking,
I just want to give grace to my Father God,
So let's pray. Father. I just want to say thank
you for everything. I want to say thank you for
the opportunity, and I want to say thank you for

(02:39):
just making me more discipline to serve you and to
continue to fulfill your call onto me, Father God. And
as I always say, less of me, more of you,
and you are worthy our God and Lord, to be
praised and to receive glory, honor, and power. For you,
Father created all things, and by your will they were

(03:01):
created and have there being a man a man, let's go,
my people, welcome. Recently, my family and I had had
a Bible study where we compare two Bible verses, first

(03:24):
one being Genesis chapter one, verse twenty eight that says
God bless them and said to them be fruitful and
increase in number fill the earth and subdue it, roll
over the fish in the sea, and the birds in
the sky, and over every living creature that moves in
the ground. And we had to compare this primary verse

(03:46):
with that of First Corinthians, chapter seven, verses seventy nine,
that says, I wish that all of you were as
I am, but each of you has your own gift
from God. One has this gift, another has that. Please,
my friends, try to pay attention to these words, because

(04:06):
they truly help me to debunk several myths, which, for
all the years of my living thought the word mandatory
for all Christians. So forgive me, I'll read it again
from the top. First Quarriantheans, chapter seven, verse seventy nine says,
I wish that all of you were as I am,

(04:27):
but each of you has your own gift from God.
One has this gift, another has that. Now to be
unmarried and the widows, I say it is good for
them to stay unmarried, as I do, but if they
cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better
to marry than to burn with passion. There you're probably wondering,

(04:54):
So what are you saying? Listen, I am glad and
excited that you asked it is not easy to be single,
especially nowadays. Well, you know what, I'd be daring and
even say that it hasn't been easy since the creation
of a man and a woman, Since the genesis of mankind,

(05:16):
it seemed to be the normal in quotation practice for
people to get married, have children, raise them, and on
and on and on, and society has helped more certainly
this notion to weigh down on every single person. From
the time we were able to fix our attention to something,
we got bombarded with the happily ever after love stories

(05:39):
in animations, movies, social media, our environment, et cetera. In
light of these facts, it often seems like everyone's goal
or endgame is to be locked in a happy relationship.
In respect to God's command and blessings to mankind. Regarding
Genesis one twenty eight, what should we think of the

(06:02):
apostle Paul, who got personally called and mandated by Christ
himself to preach to the gentiles and wrote most of
the New Testament books in whom we believe was inspired
by Christ. What to think of him not obeying or
fulfilling the command of Genesis one twenty eight. Most importantly,
what should we think of our savior, the the holiest

(06:23):
of them all, the one whom it is written was
without sin. What to think of the fact that it
was never reported that he was married? H Listen before
I forget to introduce to this topic, please allow me
to do so. So to this topic is what are

(06:44):
the common misconceptions about marriage? My people? I don't know
if you're tracking with me. For many years it has

(07:04):
seemed as if there was only one right direction for
all to go, which was marriage. Don't get me wrong,
I am a firm believer of marriage as it was
designed by God for us humans, and I also believe
in having children many of them feel the earth and
teach them how to serve, fear and praise our creator

(07:25):
l or Him. I do believe in all of that,
and my point today is not to dismiss it, but
more so to awaken people on another way that is
also God's way. My goal for today's podcast is to
try to unload the weight that society has succeeded to
put over many single men and women's shoulders when it

(07:45):
comes to getting married, and refocus the purpose on the
fact that we were all fashioned in God's image so
that we would represent him on the earth and rule
over all his creation in his name, and also so
we could be in relationship with them. Nobody should feel
more spiritual or more honoring to God because they chose

(08:08):
to marry or not. Each one should choose to marry
or not based on the specific gifts that were given
to them by God, and not because society believes this
or that. Boom, let's go. You know, I get excited

(08:30):
about certain things, so Lea's forgive me. The truth of
things is that God did create marriage and that it
is beautiful. Yes, I said it. I know I'm single,
so what do I know about marriage? I know for
a fact that everything God has created is beautiful. All

(08:52):
right now, With that being said, marriage based on God's
loving commandments is beautiful. But the sinners that we are,
meaning selfish, cheaters, unfaithful, liars, judgmental, unfulfilled, jealous, insecure, stubborn, proud, hateful,

(09:14):
you complete yourself makes it ugly. Social media bombards us
with couple goes left and right that we are led
to believe that once married, all of our problems will
be solved and needs fulfilled. That the bleassful happiness is
found once married, or that it is easier or it
seems easier living married than single. Well, what does the

(09:39):
Bible say? The Bible commands or instructs us in Genesis
one twenty eight to be fruitful, multiply, and subdue the earth.
Please humbly show me anywhere in the Bible where it

(10:02):
is said that it is mandatory from mankind to marry.
When Christ was asked to summarize the commendments and cite
the greatest one of them all, he said, this is
the greatest and first commendment, Love the Lord your God,
with all your heart, and with all your soul, and
with all your mind. Then followed with the second important one,

(10:24):
love your neighbor as yourself. This is mainly what we
are called to observe and obey. Before even thinking of
getting married. We shall first submit to God. If we
do not know how to do so, how can we
know how to serve or love anyone else? Because God
is love. Plus. When Christ came, he taught his disciple,

(10:46):
therefore us, that the greatest of them all is the
one serving. So we are called to serve God in
one another first and foremost. Furthermore, each one of us
were designed with persif saic gifts and purpose. With that
being said, this leads me to ask you, is everyone
called to be a biological parent? As for me, I

(11:10):
believe that we were definitely created with the ability to procreate,
but it is God's grace and blessing that allows us
to bear life. In the Bible, for example, we can
read in the Book of Jeremiah sixteen verses one to two,
God telling Jeremiah not to get married or raise a
family in the city where he lived, for he had

(11:32):
signed a death warrant on all the children born in
that country. Sometimes we may feel like a certain disability
of ours is a curse, and because we are so
small and unable to see the gramskin vision of God,
will accuse him and blame him to be unfair, when
in his great and tender love for us, he sometimes

(11:55):
prevents certain things to happen in our lives to protect
us from great suffering. I don't know if I'm talking
to somebody, but one thing we have to know is
that God is great always. He does whatever pleases him
in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas,
and all their deaths. Never forget that. So some of

(12:18):
us may be called for this mission, and others that mission.
The apostle Paul continues in First Corinthians, chapter seven, verses
thirty two to thirty five, by saying, I would like
you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is
concerned about the Lord's affairs, how he can please the Lord.

(12:39):
But a married man is concerned about the affairs of
the world, how he can please his wife, and his
interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned
about the Lord's affair. Her aim is to be devoted
to the Lord in the body and spirit. But a
married woman is concerned about the affair years of this

(13:00):
world how she can please her husband. Then, in verse
thirty five, he continued by saying, I am saying this
for your own good, not to restrict you, but that
you may live in a right way, in an undivided
devotion to the Lord. Te Ooh, I pray that I'm

(13:37):
being clear and I'm confusing anyone. What has been said
so far is to give hope to all my Christian
celebsinens out there, or that I've created, to merge celibates
an abtinent hope to leave peacefully, happily and confidently, knowing
that she are discipling faithfully to God. Here the Apostle

(13:59):
Paul is in encouraging you or us people not to
marry or to choose marriage as a bandit to your
or our inability to control ourselves or yourself, because if
you have no self control while single, it won't automatically
change once married. Although what he was saying is that

(14:19):
the best covenant to consummate your love, which your life partner,
is through marriage. Therefore, for those who have the desire
and call to be married and have children, we should
all go ahead and fulfill that call with God in
the middle. Same for those who are called to devoid
their lives entirely to God. As I said earlier, one

(14:43):
is not more honorable than the other. As long as
you fulfill God's plan and bring glory to Him, they
are my friends. I think I want to stop here,
and I pray with all my heart that God's Holy
Spirit translates curately this message to your heart. Let it
bring peace, security, contentment, confidence, soulace and faith in the

(15:09):
journey that you are in. You were designed and chosen
by God even before anyone knew we shall never worry
about anything, but in the case we do give it
all to God and trust in His great plans for you, me,
and the entire nation to prosper us and not to

(15:30):
harm us. Before I land, I want to thank you
wholeheartedly for having allowed me in your space and wish
you to have an amazing day, evening night, Just have
an amazing time. Be safe out there, As I always say,

(15:51):
stay beautifully, peacefully and confidently blessed, as you, my friend,
are a unique creation of Elohim. Stay blessed, my friends,
