I just want to give grace to my father, So
(03:03):
let's pray. Father God. I just want to say thank you,
thank you for everything, thank you for life, thank you
for opportunities. Thank you for being my God, and to
always always being by my's side. As I always say,
lets of me, more of you, and you are worthy
our God and Lord, to be praised and to receive glory, honor,
(03:26):
and power. For you Father created all things, and by
your will they were created and have their being. Amen. Amen,
let's go, my people welcome. Recently, I found myself reflecting
(03:52):
on many things my life, my health, my current professional
and financial status, my personal status, as my relationship with God,
my wish and prayer to God from my last day.
Pouts ahh uh, not like that. I'm not dying anytime soon. No,
(04:16):
I beg Father Lord, No, But anyway, he has the
last word on everyone expiration day. But deep inside of me,
I feel like I haven't accomplished, not even half of
what He sent me on this earth for. So I
pray to him always according to his will, that he
allows me to serve him to the fullest of my
(04:37):
abilities and potential. There So what I meant by my
wish and prayer from my last day is that the
same way, I like to take the time to reflect
on every aspect of my life. Same way, I also
ask God to never leave my side, so I never
depart from his face and stay agreeable to him. I
(04:59):
want for him to recognize me during my existence and
even when I'm gone, like he did all of his
faithful servants. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, job et Ce. All right,
I sidetracked quite a bit. But it's okay. It was
necessary for me to clarify what I meant. So as
(05:21):
I started thinking about all of these aspects of my life,
I'm not gonna lie. It took me into the depth
of my being. You know my emotions. By now, most
of you must know that I am a Christian celebsinent woman,
as I call myself, meaning celibate and abstinent, waiting for
(05:41):
marriage and to honoring God with my body while following
his word and serving Him as He intends and expects
of me to do well. Just in a case you
didn't know, Hi y'a, and welcome again. So as I
patiently maneuver through this journey of abstinence, I also realize
(06:04):
that I am not getting any younger. The biological clock,
as they call it, has been activated for quite some
time now. My body has started to have a mind
of its own. Formal ladies out there, how about the
hormonal changes your men's cycles keeps you frowning all the
time now because of the constant variations, you worry about
(06:25):
still being fertile when God finally sends you your man
to all my nineteen eighties and early nineties, baby, mm,
when has your blood pressure started rising like that, or
your bones cracking like this, whatever reality you're in right now,
I'd like to have this conversation with you regarding to
(06:46):
this topic, if you allow me to so without any
further delay. To this topic is the way till marriage
in the face of adversity? How do you cope when
sickness or any challenges knock at your door? Just to
(07:14):
give you a little context about what sparked this conversation
some time ago, I've had little hiccups about my health,
and believe me, my people, it is better to be
health to you, because dealing with this health system can
be very discouraging, upsetting, and depressing. So as I was
(07:35):
running around trying to get some understanding as to what
was going on with me without my knowledge or me
noticing it, many other areas of my life also started
to be impacted as well. The social butterfly me became
more of a home body. I no longer had the
motivation necessary to work on my projects. I distanced myself
(07:57):
from many friends. My regular fasting days started looking more
like intermittent fasting for health purposes than spiritual growth and
intimate true connection with God. Little by little, I started
believing that, Hey, maybe God's plan for me is to
remain celibate until he calls me back to him, just
like the apostle Paul in the Bible. Hey ah ooh,
(08:22):
and so you see how twisted and deep your mind
can take you to. Huh. And while I was going
through the spiral and all of these trials, I was convinced,
you knew that I was spiritually lucid until one evening
at the end of my fast, as I slowly was
breaking it down, meaning my fast, I've had a very
(08:43):
interesting exchange with a loved one who confronted me for
fast and considering my not so optimal health status, and
they were appalled by my decision to choose fasting and
dedicating one day, one day all to my father in
heaven that thank you for being my everything my life
in the abyss, I don't know. I don't know what
(09:08):
that was, but at that moment, I suppose that it
was like the man blind from birth in the Book
of John nine, whom, after being put some mud on
the eyes and washed away in the pull of Siloan,
started saying for the first time of his entire life.
Mm hmm. Yeah, that was me, though, I hadn't stopped
(09:30):
rereading my Bible regularly, praying every day, pasting, tithing and
so on and so forth. I had not realized how
off track I was, and how definitely blind I had become. Here,
I was making the affliction of my life the center
of everything which I had loved, controlling my emotions, my thoughts,
(09:54):
and to some extent, my beliefs. This is why I've
decided today to speak on it and hopefully encourage whoever
is currently sitting in his or her situation despairing over
any challenges, difficulties, trials, whether it is from a health standpoint, professional, financial, mental, spiritual, social,
(10:20):
whatever it is, take courage. For we do not have
a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,
but one who has been tempted in every way just
as we are. But contrary to us, it was no sinner,
and I name Christ. My dear friends. Let us not
(11:02):
forget that our struggles are not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers
of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of
evil in the heavenly realms. So it is no surprise
why the path to abstinential marriage would be filled with obstacles.
(11:25):
The devil simply knows well how to blur reality and
truth very slowly, to the point that you don't even
realize that your thoughts have been clouded all this while.
Then it becomes easier and easier afterwards for him to
try demoralizing you by throwing your way anxiety, fear, feeling
(11:48):
of loneliness, pain, losses, grief, infertility, struggles at your workplace,
animosity between your family members and friends, any terrible diagnosis, confusion,
et cetera, et cetera. Next thing, you know, any of
the problems that are thrown at you have become your idols,
(12:09):
your god.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
M hm.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yes, Idolatry doesn't always look like human beings bound down
to silver or gold images. Oh no, I hope you
know that is where the danger lies if you think that.
Gaullisians chapter three, verse five says, put to death. Therefore
whatever belongs to your earthly nature sexual immorality, impurity, lost, evil, desires,
(12:38):
and greed, which is idolatry. Yeah, you've heard it right,
even greed, y'all. I've heard a pastor recently, in his
sermon says something that shook my way of thinking in
the right way, because I had never thought of it
this way or hurt anyone who shared this perspect he said,
(13:02):
And I paraphrase that low self esteem was not a
real thing. Yep, let's just take a moment here. Low
self esteem is not real. He pursued by saying that
this concept that is low self esteem simply stems from
(13:23):
us thinking so highly of ourselves, believing that we deserve
certain things. Therefore, when we do not get them or
things are unfavorable to us, we get discourage and become
extremely critical of ourselves. Then we start comparing ourselves to others,
believing that because they are or have this, therefore me too,
(13:47):
I should be entitled to this. That, and the third greed,
y'all just greed. Let me know what you think of
that perspective. Quite interesting, to be honest, But truth be told.
Who told us that we must all be rich, healthy, married,
(14:10):
that we will all bathe in abundance, or that misfortune
won't strike us? Let us not forget that through one man,
sin entered the world. Though Christ, our Messiah, can then
(14:38):
pay the high price through his blood for our sins,
and through him we have redemption. Truth is the curse
in Genesis three, The sin of Adam or the fall
still stands. You know, the wages of sin, that is death,
still stand high and strong. You know, as far as
(14:59):
I know, no one out there, in spite of their billions,
can boast being eternal. But Christ Jesus death is a
promise to us believers for eternal solvation in heaven. Promises
of peace, comfort, security, abandoned, blessing, love, joy, And more
so to you, my precious, though it may seem as
(15:21):
if you can catch a break from this life hardship,
stay strong, hope, for confident, and be assured. For we
have a God who keeps count of our tossings and
put our tears in battle, meaning he knows and is
aware of our suffering. And there is no tear of
(15:43):
ours that has gone unnoticed. There there, my friends. Today's
episode was meant to encourage you and give you hope
not to lose faith. No matter what you're going through,
our Father in heaven will never get you more than
you can bear. Just like his faithful servant Joe, we
(16:04):
ought to be a testimony for his glory. Listen, the
devil will not rise against himself or divide his kingdom
or house against itself. But rather, in his attempt to
destroy kill the heirs of Elohim el shadda Ya's kingdom.
He will go after the strong men and women, of course,
(16:28):
but as Jesus in Matthew Chapter twelve, verses twenty five
to twenty nine said, unless he first binds the strong man,
then indeed he may plunder his house. The devil, my friend,
is not after you because you are weak, but because
you are valuable. Let us bring our focus back onto
(16:49):
our Father, the source that never runs ry. Father, we
put our trust in you. May you protect and prevent
us from seeking men's gloves, worry to our pursue for
recognition from mortals, but instilling us the humble desire to
be faithful to you and for everything. And also, most importantly,
(17:14):
let us be content for everything you allow in our lives,
for it is best. Thank you, Father for taking up
of your precious time to look into our affairs and care.
Keep us always on your wave. Until next time. I
wish you to have an amazing day evening night. Just
(17:39):
have an amazing time and stay safe out there. As
I always say, stay beautifully peacefully and confidently blessed because you,
my friends, are a unique creation of Elohim. Stay bless
(18:07):
