It's time for the Week 16 Saturday night nightcap. The match up between NFC North rivals may determine not only the division leaders but much of the conferences playoff picture.

The 9-4-1 Green Bay Packer are heading to Chicago to face the division leading Chicago Bears.
The Packers look to rebound off of a couple of big losses last week. The first loss was the 34-26 defeat to the Denver Broncos. The bigger loss was a season ending knee injury to All World defensive end Micah Parsons. His loss is a devastating blow to the Packers defense.

Meanwhile the Bears are coming off a dominating victory over the Cleveland Browns. A victory this week would give them a 1 1/2 game lead with only two games on the schedule to go.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
When you look into my eyes, you understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Let me say to you slowly in it may sound scanless.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I don't think that you can handle this. Moving on
to Saturday night football, we have the nine, four and
one Green Bay Packers head into Chicago to face the
ten and four Bears. This has big playoff implications. The
Packers are one and a half point favorites while the
projected total is forty six and a half points. That

(00:28):
means Vegas is telling us that the Bears will score
twenty two and a half while the Packers score twenty four.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
As far as.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Injuries, some major problems for Green Bay. First, the big one,
Micah Parsons tore his ACL and is done for the season.
Brutal loss for the Packers. Also, star wide receiver Christian
Watson had a chess injury and had to go to

(00:56):
the hospital. It looks like they're saying that he got
pretty lucky with the injury, but I don't know if
that means he will be able to play this coming week.
On the Bear side, they have wide receiver issues of
their own, rome with Dunja re injured his stress fracture
in his foot. He is out indefinitely. I would say

(01:21):
he's very doubtful for this Saturday night. And Luther Burden,
the young rookie who would probably take Donzay's place, has
his own ankle sprame. He is listed as day to day.
Mike Steph, what do you think about this game? Packers Bears?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I've started with the package first. The Packers lost in
Denver to the Broncos thirty four to twenty six this
past Sunday, but that wasn't the big news that was
coming out the game. As Moden mentioned, you know, Michael
Parsons and Christian Rotson was lost, ironically, both in the
third quarter, and that was around the time that the
game totally switched over to Denver side. Green Bay's defense

(02:02):
came up big against Kayler Williams and the BIZ when
the two teams met in week fourteen. Without Parsons, it
could be a different story this time around. Jordan Love
was twenty four or forty, which is kind of subpar
through the air for two hundred and seventy six yards,
one touchdown, into interceptions, three quarterback sacks, and he was
hit fifteen times, and that proved to be too much

(02:24):
for Jordan Love. He threw a pair a second half
interceptions and couldn't keep pace with the previously anemic Bronco
offense in the third quarter. Now, when it comes to
the BIZ, the BIZ rolled to eight dominant thirty one
to three victory and sold to field behind a strong
outing by the aforementioned Kayler Williams. Chicago now fits at

(02:48):
a record of ten and four on the year after
winning six of the last seven, and they looked to
be on pace to make their first playoff appearance since
the year twenty twenty. Kayla Williams went seventeen twenty eight
for two and forty two yards with two touchdowns in
the win. Uh running back Swift had ninety eight yards
and two scores on eighteen carries, and Dj Moore had

(03:10):
two touchdowns on sixty nine yards in four catches. Now,
the division leading Bis have had won five straight games
and nine of the ten before losing twenty eight twenty
one two weeks ago, when Kate Williams underthrew Cole Commit
on an interception in the end zone in the closing minute,
Chicago fell behind the Packers in division and dropped from

(03:33):
first to seventh that week. The schedule is about to
take another tough turn for these Chicago Bears because after
they have the green Bay game, they have a trip
to San Francisco and they finished the season hosting Detroit.
So this is hard. But to me, it all comes

(03:54):
down personally. All comes down to the coaching who do
I trust more, Do our trust Matt Lafleur in a
big game, or do I trust neophyte head coach Ben Johnson.
Tell you the truth, nobody thought that the Bears were
gonna be ten and four, especially after the very beginning
of the season when things looked shaky. They looked like
they had a chance to turn for the worst like

(04:14):
they did last year. So I'm going to get the
benefit of the doubt. And plus I haven't picked the
underdog I believe yet, so got to ride that train
Chicago plus the one and a half over under under.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It looks like it ended up being a battle between
green Bay's defense, which is ranked fifth as far as
yards given up in Chicago's offense, which is ranked fifth
in yards gain. But the loss of Michael Parsons may
be crucial. So like Mike Staph, I am taking the
Bears and I am taking the under This is.

Speaker 2 (04:48):

Speaker 3 (04:53):
First, or you gotta change the banner fight week.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
That's not good.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
