(00:00):
Welcome to Hitting Gem's Golf, wherewe dig a little bit deeper to find
secret treasure for your betting and DFSpleasure. Yeah Baby, Hello all.

(00:22):
I am the Mojo King and thisis episode number sixty five of Hidden Gems
Golf, brought to you by theMighty nineteen Media Group. This week we'll
be discussing the Memorial Tournament being playedin Ohio. How are you folks doing.
I'm doing quite well after taking abreather last week. It was a
much needed mental rest. Much respectto all of you who can grind through

(00:43):
the PJA season every single week, especially the DFS and gambling podcasters. You
all are a special breed. Iquite simply am not part of that breed.
No way, no how. Ifelt myself losing focus. I was
working harder and harder with less andless to show for it. That break
did wonders for me. I'm back, batteries recharged, and I'm ready to

(01:04):
dig deep for those off the beatenpath selections that no one else is suggesting.
You know, it's go time whenMO is back on rhyme time.
Anyway, I suppose I should bedoing well, if for no other reason.
In June is my favorite month ofthe year. It's where things really
get started. It's my birthday month, no real need to celebrate that too

(01:26):
much. But it's also my son'sbirthday, which is my favorite thing to
celebrate. And also June nineteenth isthe anniversary of the official launch of the
nineteen Media Group. The end ofyear two is fast approaching, and what
an exciting two years has been fornineteen. Watching the business grow has been
amazing and watching relationships grow has beenbeautiful as well. If you haven't already,

(01:49):
I suggest following nineteen Media Group onTwitter, Instagram and YouTube. I
believe there's a giveaway or two thatmight be coming up. Don't tell anyone
I told you, because you know, snitches get stitches. This is the
nineteen Media Girl presentation. This weekwe are discussing the Memorial Tournament presented by

(02:10):
Workday, being played at Murfield VillageGolf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Murfield
Village was designed by the Great JackNicholas in nineteen seventy four and has been
tweaked by Jack ever since. Mostrecent the renovations came in twenty twenty.
The courses of R seventy two, seven, five hundred and seventy one yards.
The greens are bent grass, asare the fairways. Meanwhile the rough

(02:32):
is blue grass rye rescue mix.The greens are small and fast, the
fairways are wide, and you betternot miss them because that rough is tough.
Scores have reflected the toughness of thiscourse. Last year, Billy Horshell
one at thirteen under. He wasfollowed by Aaron Wise at nine under,

(02:53):
with Patrick Kntley and Joaquin Nieman followinghim at seven under. In twenty twenty
one, it was Patrick Can't Layhoisting the trophy at thirteen under. He
defeated Colin Marrakawa in a tiebreaker. They were followed by Scottie Scheffler, Brennan
Grace and Patrick Reed. In twentytwenty, John Rom one and nine under,
defeating Ryan Palmer, Matthew Fitzpatrick,Matt Wallace and Jason Day. The

(03:17):
cut lines in these events were plustwo, plus two and plus three.
That means if you have a playerwho you think will she par, then
you know he will make the cut. Are you tired of placing bets alone?
It's a little depressing, isn't it. Would you like to connect with
some fellow sports, betters talk somestrategy, maybe brag about some big wins.

(03:39):
Well, look no further. TheSharp's app is here for you.
Download the Sharps app and use thepromo code t E M two six four.

is more than just a social networkfor betters. It makes it easy to
track bets as well, both yourown bets and the selections of your betting

(04:03):
friends. You can even track afavorite podcaster or two. With Sharps.
We can celebrate together on a badbeat, we can cry together. But
either way, download Sharps today anduse the promo code t E M two
six four because betting is simply bettertogether. When you look at tournament history

(04:26):
here at Jack's Place, you willfind a bunch of inconsistency from year to
year for most players, except fora couple of them, namely Patrick Cantley
and John Rom. Hantley has beenstella here and Rom has two, especially
when you consider the twenty twenty onewithdrawal. He had to withdraw due to
testing positive for COVID, but hewas running away with the event at the

(04:47):
time. Those are my two obviouschoices up top now a little bit lower.
I like sahith Tha Gala a lot, and I probably use them in
one and Dunes if the other twoare unavailed before me. His game has
been a bit extreme when it comesto approach play hot or cold, but
when he's on, he's really on. All right, Enough up top,

(05:09):
let's get down to the hidden gems, shall we, and now your featured
presentation. First up is the sixtyfirst ranked player in the world, twenty
nine year old Adam Spencing. Althoughhe is the sixty first ranked player,
I suspect there will be little playfrom stat heads when it comes to him.
Sensing in his last two performances hasbeen completely reliant on putting while losing

(05:32):
strokes on approach. It's never goodto lose strokes on on approach, especially
not at this course. But myargument at Force Fencon is this, the
man finds a way to compete. He's only missed three cuts in all of
twenty twenty two, and only onemiss cut in his last nine events,
that being at the Masters. Also, it's been a full twelve months since

(05:56):
Fencing had three straight negative approaching thetournaments. Simply put, I think he
can figure it out this week toat least top forty. He was forty
fifth year last year, and there'severy indication that he's a better golfer and
should do better this time around.Next up is the ninety first ranked player
in the world, twenty six yearold Alex Smally. This one is a

(06:18):
bit more conventional wisdom. Smally hadsuffered through three straight misscuts until eighteenth at
the Wells Fargo. He followed thatup with a twenty third at the PGA
Championship and then a fortieth at theCharles Swaw. Now that fortieth was mostly
due to a horrible putting week.Otherwise he played excellent. I think Smally

(06:40):
is back. He was very competitiveearlier in the season, and I think
he's going to continue that now.And finally, our catch a falling knife
pick the ninetieth ranked player in theworld, thirty year old Trey Mullinex.
I'm stunted Trey is in the tophundred. No disrespect intended, because you
know I love my falling knives. But Trey has missed six of his last

(07:02):
seven cuts, and his highlight durnedat seven was a forty seventh at the
Wells Fargo However, I believe acourse like this may mute Mullinix's biggest flaw.
Hopefully these fairways are wide enough tokeep him on the fairways. If
he could drive it as long ashe does and not hid into the rough,
he could compete well at least makethe cut, and that would be

(07:25):
good enough for me this week. And there you have it. That's all
I got. Make sure you're onthe lookout for big things happening in June
for nineteen media group for Hidden Gems, golf for myself and my family,
all of us. Let's get thissummer off to a hot star. And
with that, I am golf digging. Mm hmmm, keep digging, okay,

(08:09):
so keep digging, keep digging, keep digging, keep digging. Let's
keep taking like a million times, keep digging in and then you'll find treasure
in the snow. You know,it's recording your audio not youre not you're
dancing, I know, keep digging. Oh my goodness, Senci sensing sense

(08:48):
fencing, Adam Sensing, Adam spencing. This week, my dad will be disgusting
