El nombre, sencillo, surgió de un método muy recurrente: unieron la primera sílaba de sus apellidos. Así nacía Meyba.
🩳Con sede en Terrasa, lanzaron una innovadora y moderna línea de bañadores, que ganó mucha popularidad en Barcelona. El éxito fue tan grande que en la ciudad a los bañadores se les empezó a llamar 'los meyba'. Esta metonimia se extendería al resto de España cuando la marca empezó a expandirse, a finales de los 50.
