Speaker 1 (00:11):
P l D Project presents Holy Snokes, a Star Wars
podcast featuring pl D and Maddy Gunner. You may the
Force be with you always.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
What's all, everybody, We're back Holy Snoke. Sorry, yes, we
are back. We are Holy Snokes. I am PLD. This
of course is Maddy Gunner. It has been a while.
We kind of announced a shift of our schedule and
then our schedule blew us all the hell anyway.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
So our schedule got shifted. Were enough the shifting the schedule,
then our schedule is good.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Shift.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
We shifted our schedule and our schedule shifted us is
it as it would be? Hopefully we will be more
shofted us. I think that's that's the better way of
put it. Probably Actually hopefully we will continue, We'll get
back on track and we will get back to it.
We're our bi weekly schedule, which is our new thing
going forward. We're gonna have an episode on something like
(01:22):
Thematic Thing or things like that where me and Maddie
or maybe Matty Soldo might do whatever. He did a
great episode on Curisawa which is on the channel and
check that out Curse Effect on Star Wars. I wanted
to do it kind of but I thought that I'd
be a waste of space concerned. I hadn't watched a
lot of those movies in for a year. I just
want to let Mattie get his own thing. And because
as Ken Knapsack texting me, thank you for letting Mattie
do this wonderful book report on the subject, which is
pretty much what it was. A great It was a
(01:44):
wonderfully historically, uh look into it. So we'll have things
like this, and today's episode is likewise going to be
like a thematic episode. You've seen the thumbnail, you've seen
the title we are talking about by Republic, and now
that it has ended, we'll get to that momentarily moving forward.
Our next episode will be in like to me sell
my news update, which I ended up news updating forever.
So that's what we talked about. All were talking about
(02:04):
all the stuff that's hit the news, the Matt Smith news,
the Simon Kimberg talking about and or news casting stuff,
everything going on with that. The trailer for the was
a builder the Lego build up.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
The Build a Galaxy.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
That's a Build a Galaxy movie coming out in September.
Asking me a lot of fun to talk about, as well,
so that was my News episode two weeks and then
we will return after that. So basically it's gonna be
at every other show kind of thing, news theme, news theme,
news theme. We have think of themes coming up as well.
I know you still technically have to do the Tony Gilroy.
I feel like we're almost out of here.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Yeah, yeah, we we got it. I don't think we
are we got you know, the Emy season is coming up.
Tony has been making the rounds in LA. Unfortunately I
wasn't here when he did the pop up. Shout tell
our friend Brandon Hannah, who got to meet Tony Gilroy
at the surprise pop up that they did. I did
manage thanks to Star Wars. My shoutstar was my I
(02:59):
managed to get my hands on one of the and dosines.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Oh nice, very nice?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Which is which is is? I haven't read it yet.
It's currently sitting in my suitcase because I'm currently living
out of a suitcase. But yeah, from what from what
I breezed through on the on the drive back, don't
read why you're driving kids, it looks pretty cool. So
hopefully you guys on the on the East Coast will
be getting something similar out this soon.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
But ye, that would be great, that would be wonderful. Indeed, Yeah,
we're looking forward to that like a good Michael Clayton's
what we're talking about. We were gonna cover Michael Clayton
as like a looking to Tony Gilroy and we connected
to Star Wars. We can kind of like what we
do with your cursa for example. Also some of the
ones I just thought of the top of my head,
I kind of want to do a I kind of
want to do like a top twenty video for us.
We've done one of those in a little bit, like
(03:46):
maybe the top twenty TV episodes from Star Wars kind
of thing there, maybe top ten. I throw it in
there to be definitive, but like.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Maybe because it's so many episodes exactly.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
I guess why, I inditally said, twenty gets so many
episodes of want to highlight.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
But we all got I can give your mind right
now easy to a vandals.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
That that's fair. That's fair, absolutely fair. We're still kind
of buzzing on that high for sure. We are a
little bit of a low nown. Mom, Charli, do you
have the like I said, the building Galaxy coming up?
We do have business Season two coming up, which we
will definitely cover. I'm not sure how we'll cover it.
We'll do it all in one episode or if we'll
kind of we do a little bit episodes on each episode,
(04:28):
perhaps maybe something to try something new with that. We'll
see what that goes. And of course I know you're
looking forward to Mall shadow Lord. I mean we're both
looking forward to it. But I know most Legends yet
Legends coming out in in next early next year. I
think we don't have an official date. It's twenty twenty six,
but I had my belief is that it's early. Things
can be before Mando and Gruger. That's what I'm kind
of thinking of. That's right than the movie Mad Greg
(04:50):
coming out in next year. Definitely can't wait to cover
that as well, all that stuff going on. All I said,
if you like us here, if this is your first
time here, welcome. You have a a lot of stuff
to look back on and look forward to. You'd like it. Subscribed,
you can join our Patreon, Patreon dot com slash pod projects.
We don't really do, I'll be honestly, you don't do
a whole lot on the Patreon recurring to Holyoke yet
(05:12):
because we usually record these episodes and I put them
live right away, so I don't have all the episodes
to give. But maybe we'll do something special for the
Patreon some days, since we have a by the schedule baby,
they we'll get together and do a Patreon exclusive episode
about something we'll pitch. I'm pitching that right on airs
where I'm talking. It's like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
We're doing a lot of pitching on that today.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
We are. Well, you know, it's funny because we haven't
been on the Talk recently. It's been like we've been
having like these crack take and go messages. I've been
I've been doing a lot of real life stuff. I
know you. I didn't even realize you were in California
and so I saw some of your social media like
what do you what's he doing on?
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah I was. I went to visit my
best friend had his firstborn son, so I went to
visit them in Sacramento. I'm officially a California guy now
that I have taken a jet ski out onto a river.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Better you than me, I'll be honestly, I would fly
off that thing.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
And as someone who has ridden morabikes for most of
his life. That was a completely different exp I got
on it thinking, oh, this is just going to be
like riding riding a mobbike. Itt me like upward like that,
and I was like whoa, okay, But then I just
pretended that I was riding a speed of bike through
the savendor and everything was.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
It was okay.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
No no red trees in the ocean though, No big
big red firs or whatever.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
We we nearly hit a couple. We hit a couple
on the river bank.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
That's impressive. That's impressive.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
So we haven't been able to talk too much. We
actually had I actually had two postpone class action for
a little bitings to cut ties or something for a
little bit. We'll be back at some point. I'm sure
there's a lot going on, so you have to make
do and some things here and there. We did return
this week with two middle age geeks on film myself, PJ.
Check that out. We covered Ghostbusters too. When you're continuing now,
(06:55):
are MCU watched through as well? But about that, let's
get into to day is subject. We don't do news
here on this like, I'm still gonna use the new formula.
So the party is like let's go to the news,
but we don't do the news.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Shut up, shut up, shut up.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I'm shutting up about the news. The next time we
are talking about the High Republic, we are slightly late
in covering this. Fishing pitched it to uh cover at
the end of the trials the jediro chant in July
mid July, and then we're like, well, we get wait
to the end at least because we have that the
High Republic finale from our con which is gonna come
out and that it's going to really signify that. But
(07:30):
now it's been out for a little bit. But in
a way it's kind of good because I know you
were having a hard time finishing it up. You said
you got to have a real quick for you at
the end. Yeah, And now I'm gonna sit with me
for a bit too. Let's sit with me. I can
have little more, maybe more to say without the recency
bias coming in, so.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I mean jumping into our overall thoughts real quick. I
thought this was way too long.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Interesting, interesting, okay, uh.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I I enjoyed what I did read, but I fell
off a lot of the Young the Ya books, a
lot of the comics. I maintained like with the main
Marvel run, but a lot of it of like the
offshoots and stuff I probably could have done without. I
(08:18):
think the next one. I mean that it was good.
What I read was good. It wasn't like there was
like a dip in the level of writing. It was
just a lot. It was a lot, and trying to
like keep up with everything got I got about midway
through phase two before I was like, okay, I need
(08:40):
to just concentrate on the main story threads and might
not go off in a million different directions. So there's
there's gonna be stuff with pod is probably going to
bring up that I've not heard yet. I'm completely fine
with that, I think, for I understand they had four
(09:01):
years to fill with this initiative. I'm well aware that
they had four years to fill. Maybe next time it's
cut down to about two.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
I did read every single piece of comic book books.
You're mad, I am. I actually, I'm actually saying, where
do you find the time all those things? I work?
Everybody knows like you work as a dispatcher, and I
will one some days.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Your dad you have You're the man of a thousand podcasts,
You're the man of a thousand producing podcasts having to
do with Matt Sarah every week. I imagine copy comedy. You know,
it's a bit of a challenge.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
I can imagine Mad the sweetheart. I'll tell you he's
actually my least he's the least problem child. Wow, where's
the life to do? I have kind of two things regret, uh,
but no in all honestly, like I just I find
time by just doing it. Whenever i'm like free, I have,
but I usually have a kindle with catch issue. Here
(10:00):
i'm reading, I might have doctor shops looking in this year. Here,
I get a shopped here in here, I just make
it work. I'm actually rereading it now because I went
back and I'm doing the organizational thing for myself. I'm
reading the Higher Republican now I'm back in to Timelight.
I'm doing chronologically speaking as you go, actually doing two
separate reading throughs in the Cannon area, going back to
read the Higher Republics. I have to category some things
for myself. I also, as people know, I've been reading
(10:22):
the entire like canon. That's my goal. I hit the Acolyte,
by the way, I mean, I just refinished watching the
Accolte and I don't think you're ready for the discussion
about that. That show is actually a lot better, especially
without all the shall we say, discourse around it going on.
Seeing watching it without any of that discourse was just
really nice. It was really nice to say I liked
a lot of them, and I hope we get more
(10:43):
in some way, shape or form. My eyes for not
going season two, but I hope we're gonna get some
kind of continuational characters.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
I also rewatched The Acolyte because I don't know, you
saw I took part in the Epic Confrontations Hyperspace trivia
going let oh I didn't Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they
shout out to Eli and the crew over Epic Confrontations
Star was in a galaxy. They invited me on. I immediately
thought I was going to get blown out the water
(11:10):
in one round. Lasted a lot longer than I thought. Oh,
you know, you know, it's been a while since I've
done any trivia, So I asked it a little bit
and there were some questions that came up about the Acolyte,
and I was like, I know this, Hey, this is
like deep in the back of my brain, I know this, right,
So so getting that right, I was like it was
(11:32):
really formed. Yeah, yeah, dude, it was live. It was
like live. It's like their version of the Royal Rumbel,
like one person comes out and then the next person
like kind of like the schmonown free for all for
my gotcha.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I was actually invited to be a part of that,
but I could not, unfortunately make it work.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Because you knew I was going to be in it,
and you was shook.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Yeah, that's what it was. Actually, I know I'd already
I had already like I had already obviously see how
I did with my schedule to shann a little one
anything else, I alreadyked being booked on settled the score
at one point that I couldn't do anything more at
that point, which I got my asking until the score
because I realized.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
That, oh I heard about I heard about this at
the dinner last night from who from your from?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
I did if I'm finding as I get older, like
I surely should retire now because like my trivia brain's
still there, I just don't have the speed I used
to have. That's that kind of thing, Like I knew
every question that Dan god right, I just goddamn it.
He got fascinate it. That's it. I had that recall problem.
I would get there. So any speed question I can
I can't do. It's like a right down question. I
(12:36):
could still quite throw, you know, I could still be
the bullpen. I still, you know, provide some meetings of
relief here and there.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
I'll tell you the question that did me in, and
it's one that you will be surprised at, and then
we'll get back onto the top of your hand. It
was a question of which sith Lord inhabits Darth Vader's
castle in the comics. And obviously it's yeah moment, who
was my who is my guy? Who was my favorite?
And I was just thinking. I was like the funk
(13:06):
is in his cause because I was like thinking of
the assistant right right, and I was just like yeah,
and I was like, no, can't be him. But then
the time ran out and I was.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Like ship to moment, Oh wow, you are you are mad?
You mad?
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I was? I was pissed. I was pissed.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
That's fair enough.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
But the point that the point I'm bringing the ufice
to say is like it reinforced in my brain how
good I was.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
The alcolte is absolutely I would say like like I
watched it again and I said, you know what, I
understand why some people didn't like some of it. And
there's definitely some wonky motivations at times there deughitely some
because I still don't understand what Basil was doing towards
the end a little bit honestly, so.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
He needs to do it's just he's he's the comic relief.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Like like this, like when he sabotaged with the ship,
like I don't. I couldn't understand what necessarily, but either way,
like I had some issues with overall, but like like
my god, it was a lot. I want to see
these characters why. I want to see the stranger like
do is say with other show at this point, see
what's going on there. I want to see Ernestra leading
a lead the team to go. There's a lot of
good stuff with the politics there. Rain Court loved. I
(14:14):
got those lots of stuff, good stuff, but that's our
I guess we'll see what happens there. But I've been
just to go back to my saying, I've been reading
through it all again. I did read through everything, and
I don't disagree with your initially this side I want
to say I'll get right into the overall idea that
I want to applaud the ambition behind this project absolutely,
Like this is definitely the most ambitious project we've seen
(14:35):
the Disney era, I think overall, and I think it's
probably more ambitious that any of the other multimedia stuff
the Legends tried to do. I mean, this hargets back
obviously to like the New Jedi Order and to like
maybe the Shadows of the Empire stuff and everything else.
But this New Jedi Order did a very definitive like
like there's like five or six like hardcover adult novels,
(14:55):
and then they threw in a couple of paperbacks in
between the kind of like the expansion and the the
Hancement stuff, but you can kind of skip if you
wanted to, but still had some good story. That Trader
was one of the ones from The Jedi or and
it's still one of my favorite books. And that's one
of the side books, so to speak. And I wonder
almost if like the higher Pullback was a little too
ambitious in a way. I like the idea we still
(15:17):
had kind of like the adult novels, we had the
young adult novels, and we had like young Jujior novels,
and then we had like the comic book runs everything else,
and it's like that's awesome because we're feeling in a
lot of space a lot of time. It does let
you really you can, if you're not a madman like me,
you could pick and choose what you want to watch.
Like for example, I probably didn't. I didn't love a
(15:38):
lot of like the Higher Republican Adventures Dark Horse ones,
which definitely aimed a little more. I think they were
definitely aimed a little on the younger side of things,
and it was all about this like love a story
that kind of was like, okay, that's just like it's fine,
it's but it's it's not really telling me much of
the story that I want to know. But I will
say over all so that I would love to see
(15:58):
them try again, but you could definite finding tune of
a little bit. I think part of the problem I
have the overall is that, like I mentioned, the New
Jedi Ordered, it was like definitively had the big story
in one spot and then there's some enhansions and this
one there was no definitive big story in spots. They
kind of a little in Phase one then phase two,
(16:19):
I felt like the young adult stuff was like far
more important than like Convergence and Catacalism. For example, those
are the adult books, and those almost seem like nothing
Burgers comparatively, especially converted convergence seemed like to such like
a round, Like I went back and like, why what
are we doing with this? I mean, don't get me wrong,
it's an interesting story. I I don't know, Forever War,
that's a cool storytell, but I just like, if you're
(16:41):
gonna have an adult novel in that time, like it
should be like there should be a point a to
point the storyline going on and like be it's like
you fill in the gaps or filling like the enhancement
suff its. Like some of the younger books are the
complicts of everything else. So it kind of like went
all over the places to what was important. I almost
feel like they tried at some point to have like
(17:03):
different stories, like for example, like the higher public comics
have their own run, which is great. I think that's
what they should have done with everything. They should have
had like a through line in each one that was
the story they were telling. But it didn't quite go
that way. And I will say I mentioned this before.
We'll get into it as we go into more things.
I do think like the momentum was killed after phase
(17:26):
one when we went back to Phase two, because like
we kind of had this like big moment Falling Star.
At the end of The Falling Star, I was like, yes,
that was a great I love one of my favorite
books of the initiative, by the way, the Fallen Star.
I love a great disaster story and the Jedi involved
and a lot of my favorite characters loved it. And
then like it's like, all right, now we're gonna stop
and go back and tell us there story before you
(17:47):
go on to see what's happening in Phase three. It's like, no,
I want to I want to go. I want to
go through. And like you said that, that's years. Like
we didn't get back to phase three for a year
or two and it's like okay, and then they stay
kind of picked up again, but like it never quite
regain the momentum it had.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
I think I think we talked about it. It's the
reason why I hate the machete order of watching the
films of like the watching everything and then going back
to me like that takes the like you said, the
momentum away. I think if they just started with Phase
two then gone into Phase one and then Phase three
(18:24):
after that, to me, it's just you have to prelude
there setting everything up. Why not lead with that?
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Agreed? I agree on that. I think also like maybe
I think they're trying to be too cute. They're like, well,
Star Wars has three trilogies and has like the original trilogy,
the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy. They tried to
kind of do that. But the problem with that is
is that when that was doing, George did that originally,
which let's cut out the sequel trilogy entirely. It was
original trilogy, which finished the story. It was the climax
(18:56):
of the story at that point. We didn't say all
that we want out George having an eight nine and
he wrote us on it and he did, but like
it was kind of one of those things where if
we had never got another episode, like if we never
got episode seven, eight nine, episode six was a definitive finale,
so it was like doing four or five six finale
and then we went back. I kind of feel like
if we had gotten like Phase one and then Phase
three and then we decided Okay, let's see how some
(19:19):
of this stuff began with like the Leveler and Marty Rowe.
So that at first that makes for an interesting story because
it doesn't kill them. Memnum is not killed, like it's
already done. We got Oh now we're just getting like
a cool pray lud that we kind of see, oh
we can see where this is gonna go eventually kind
of thing. I think that makes that much weader they Instead,
we're trying to be choose to uh too cute, see
what that? I think? And that kind of killed a
(19:41):
little bit as well. That's not even saying a phase
two is bad. It's not like it's not a.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Bad phase No, we and we got we got to
stuff like saying like we know either it's it's not
bad because like we wouldn't be saying here talking about
it if we didn't enjoy it, right, if that makes sense,
Like it was enjoyable. Did it have ebbs and flows? Yes,
but that doesn't mean anything was bad. It means or
anything was good. But I just want people to know
(20:06):
that if we didn't enjoy this, we wouldn't be sitting
here talking about it. Young Jedi Adventures, right, I'm sure
it's great. POD's watched it. I've watched a few episodes
of it. There's a reason we haven't talked about it.
It's just not for me, right, Like PIODI might do
a thematic episode on this show, all about the young
Jedi adventures when he gets when he gets the chance
(20:27):
to because he's seen it, he's enjoyed it. I watched
a bit of it and I didn't quite enjoy it.
I was like, Eh, this isn't for me. So we
didn't talk about it. So I actually agree with you
that I think it lolled, lolled a little bit with
fates to to kind of took me out of the
(20:48):
impact that the Fuller Star like Beacon had because there
was like, we're going back, what another one hundred odd years?
One hundred and fifty odd years. I will say though,
the comic The Blade was fucking awesome.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Oh yeah, I can't wait for that. That's they're doing.
They're doing a sequel to that or another Blade series
that was I canceled, but now it's back on the market.
I guess according to the author, which is I guess
gonna be part of that whole Michael Sigley called it, well,
we're gonna continue. It's gonna be phase more, not Phase four,
but we phase more, which I liked to like that
(21:23):
idea because it's basically I think it's basically him just saying, well,
we're gonna do more stories in this era with these characters,
just now, because it's just not going to be part
of like this overall r Having the Blade con actually
really is a perfect way to do that. Blade one
of my favorite characters, Bladebard is one quarter angle.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
He reminds me a lot of I don't know if
you saw this carting back in the nineties of this
costume Gargoyles, the character Hudson, who's like the old like
hunchback dude with the one eye and he's got the
one arm, the plate on his shoulder. I see the
character design, which, by the way the character designed and
the over a stack of the higher public is probably
(22:02):
my favorite thing about it. Oh yeah, looking at the
character of poor Angele, I'm like, oh, that's Hudson from Garble,
So I immediately got like a warm feeling towards the guy.
But then you see he's awesome with the light sayer.
He can cook, he can place the back and it's
just like this.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Guy is just cool. He's the guy you want to
have a beer with. For sure. Absolutely have him cook
you a meal and then you have a beerau them.
Kind of like absolutely, I'd love Actually his his progression,
like it did he have? He got introduced right away
and let the Jedi and you're kind of like, okay,
who's this guy? And he didn't quite have like the
thea right away? Who is this guy? And then like
(22:38):
they show you the stuff like the Blade, it's like,
oh that's what this guy is. Oh whoa this guy?
Speaker 3 (22:43):
They introduced us to him out of his prime, and
then they showed us him in his prime, and I
was like, where is this guy?
Speaker 2 (22:50):
And then he comes back and he's like you're John Wick,
you dig ut the go in his back say I'm
back yep, and he does. But I also will say
like I don't I don't want to call this a destriment.
I don't know what to call it was. Necessarily, I
found it a little strange that we had this side
character have basically his own kind of side story throughout
(23:11):
the entire Like there's like the higher punk initiative, and
then there's like the Blades story which running through the
entire of the initiative and like part of like the
big climax stuff. He's like in there doing his own
storyline thing with advice, and it's it's like, it's kind
of like weird. I didn't mind it, like the character
so much. I'm glad he got it, but it didn't
feel kind of like a strange. It's like having we're
(23:35):
having a John Wick subplot during Taken or something, you
know what. I kind of like it, like, like, what's
what's going on here?
Speaker 3 (23:43):
I want to see that now, especially with Naked Gun
being as good as it is, Liam Mason just going
straight back to doing like brute action.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I will say a side but I don't want to
get into it too much. But man, it's hard to
recapture the vibe of like an eighties comic sometimes, but
this one perfectly recaptured it perfectly.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Jokes jokes every five minutes.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
I'm just like, yeah, learn a lot of shit against
the well, you know, not everything landed, but like there was,
but everything was funny enough, like and something that would
laugh out.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Loud and you at least we've got a giggle out.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Absolutely absolutely good stuff. Yeah, so I will say in
this I think Phase one was my favorite. I think
Phase three was my second favorite in Phase two with
my third favorite Phase three reg little damage I said
for me for Phase two, but also had its own issues.
I do want to point out a couple of things
that I've noticed throughout the thing my problem with Phase three.
(24:39):
Even though I will say I love Trials of the Jedi,
I thought that was a good way to finish. We
had a kind of like epic a Venders style Portal
one where we had like some of the greatest characters.
They had some great look at it. Alice's started to
explaining how an interview with author the author there and
they talked about how he picked the final nine characters
that we're going to go to the planet to take
on Mark Hero and it made sense lot, We're gonna
(25:00):
pick these characters that were like had their own bits
and pieces like and they were all like throughout they
took like pieces of different storylines to get them all
to come together. Good moment there. I was just happy
to tie.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
You the more the more fleshed out ones I think,
like I like Port Orangele that have had that character
build up throughout the whole thing to where like we
care about these guys, like if you take what's it
a reef stylist for example. I really liked his story
arc because when he first came into it, I was like, Oh,
this is just a snotty little nerd who never like
(25:34):
right left, who never left his hometown, never left corus An.
He's just this little bookworm, sheltered dog, right and then
it becomes this badass like he's he's fighting the Nile
and he's talking ship while he's fighting alongside Ram, and
I'm just like this kid rules man.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Absolutely. I was glad for ty Yor because tier Up
was low key Mike my favorite character from the initiative
at this like maybe is herb or poor or maybe
the osiosity. I loved the side character.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
I love the I mean Matthew McConaughey in space, Yes,
give me Matthew Conye's face, give me that.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Like as an animated series like The Adventures, Well, I'm.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Pretty sure Justine Island said that she was. It might
have been. It was like with Justina Testa Come, who
wrote The Ox, said that he was created as Matthew
McConaughey like Matthew McConaughey in Days and Confused.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I think I actually might have been Claudia Gray who
actually had her in like the I think it was
Claudia because she was he was in the first one
they did. They got into Yeah, yes, you're right, it was.
They flushed me out a bunch of times throughout. But yeah, No,
I love matthecconnye's pace. He was just a lot of fun.
I want to see like a give me matth McConaughey
playing him, like in an animated animate or a live
action like show or so I just gotta hire a
(26:46):
public show having have adventures whatever, that'd be great. I
love that.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
I'd say, well, I'm going to Matthew McConaughey's live Q
and A in London next month. I'm gonna that's gonna
be my question and be like, excuse me, miss McConaughey,
are you playing of action leos Cassie, And.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
I would tell you what. I will buy you a
bottle of whiskey if his answers anything more than who.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Yeah, but he'll give some kind of answer about how
like the universe will put that role into my lap.
WoT I'm ready for it. When the Great when the
green lights say guards for me to be in a
Star Wars movie.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
But going back, like so, Ty, I really loved Ty Rogon.
She was kind of interesting to me because she wasn't
a part of a lot of the big, the major stories.
She was one of those kind of port characters who
kind of had her own side her. She had a
couple of mini stories that she was involved in. She
was involved a little bit in the the the World,
the World, World's Fair event or whatever in Vallo. She's
(27:51):
a part of that book and everything else. But generally speaking,
she did her own thing. But she got nice little
highlight there at the end. But bring it back to
what I was saying, I think I think the trials
that I ended it very well, but like there were
just some things introduced. I'm kind of like, I don't
know why you did this, except the fact that you
had such a sprawling narrative and you had so many
stories to tell. The two things I pointed out that
(28:11):
felt like a little bit forced for me was like
the introduction of the blight in general just seemed like
it almost seemed like, how do you put it, Like
it's like when you know a comic book fans complain
about having too many villains in a story. Yeah, that's
the felt. It's like, we already had the Nameless and
marken Roe and the Nye Hill and everything else. Now
it's going, well that this storm Wall everything else. And
also we're now like kind of like last minute juice
(28:32):
and and there's the Blight, like it's kind of related,
but not, I no have this going on. It's kind
of like, okay, we had the Drenker as well. It's
like I felt like the Drink, you'll get this. I
felt like the Drinker would have secured better as a
Doctor Who villain. Then I thought was absolutely, I agree,
the Drinker would fine for the comics. I understand why
they were there. It kind of made for a good
(28:53):
comic story everything else. But again, it did seem kind
of like, well, we're gonna push this around, and they
were like initially it felt like the night it was
like the nigh Hill were used in dra Gear and
that was kind of a cool aspect, but then it
kind of like went its own way and they just
like made for different storylines. The other thing, I'm curious
if you care at this Ornant. I feel like the
(29:13):
way they handled Phase three is they really sidelined Markian
Row Like he basically like the starlight beacon falls, they
raise a storm light and what does he do? Thout
the rest of the series until Trials the Jedi, he
goes off on his own kind of acts like this
(29:34):
whole thing sucks. I need to do something more, but
I don't know what. As always like a retrospect, like
he was like, you're Darth Vader villain. He was like,
you're probably who's like your guy? He could have been
out leading the girl instead, He's like he has almost
no interaction with anybody except for Gara. I like he's
doing his own thing. He's experimenting on things. I love
his motivation, his motivation and basically being I want to
(29:56):
be somebody, and that's somebody is that I don't want
to be r even want to be remembered. I want
to be the guy who just destroyed the universe, because
that's the most important person that could possibly be the universe.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
That is exactly you're saying. That is exactly why I disagree.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Okay, okay, but it felt like I didn't. I just
got tired, got tired of it. I just kind of
got like, like, I'm just like I want to see
more of him doing something like the ending trousers that
I came back and the thing. I loved his ending.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
I loved how he made it okay interesting, Hey, I
hate I hate how he went out, okay interesting. I
loved this. I'll get you finishing point. But like when
you said that, I was like, shit, I was really
was harping that you and I were getting be on
the same page of it.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
I like that. Well, first of all, his imprisonment at
the end was the best way to punish him.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Oh the Magneto at the end of xten one ending, Yeah, okay,
perfect way.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
To punish him. I like that. I like that he
came back into play because he needed to be the finale.
He needed to be the the battle. The battle had
to be against him because nothing else would. If they
did didn't defeat him, then what did they do. They
could stop the Nameless, Sure, they could have taken out
the Nihill, but he was still kind of out there.
It would have been kind of like the Joker got
(31:10):
away and like, what are you gonna do with it?
So I liked the fact that he came back, went
to battle against at the end. I shouldn't like how
we didn't. I wish he had been more orchestrating of
other stuff throughout the entirety of Phase three. Like it
wasn't just I love Eye Darkness. I thought it was
a good like starting point for it. They're kind of
like everything else after him, Like, okay, so now it's
almost like Gearra staros Is are focused on villain at
(31:33):
this point, but here what you have to say about it?
Speaker 3 (31:36):
I liked it because it kind of it kept you
wondering what is he doing? Like what is he getting
up to while like everything is happening over here? What
is he playing at? What is his big plan over here?
It's kind of like a bit of slight hand for me.
And one thing that I really loved is like he
(32:00):
is to me the Joker from Dark Knight. He doesn't
care about the Jedi, the Republic, even the Nile. Remember,
like the Nile was his father's and his father treated
him like absolute shit. His father tortured him all these
horrible things to the point where Mark and ended up
killing him. So I fully understand why he would just
(32:23):
throw everything to do with the Nile out the window
because he took that. He took that over as a
means to an end, but I really feel like it
meant nothing to him other than a means to an end.
Get control of the nameless, punish the Jedi, and then
at the end of it, when it all starts falling apart,
(32:43):
he's just like, you know what, I'm just gonna go
full super and over and I'm just gonna burn everything down.
And I was just like, Yes, that's the kind of
villain that we need in Star Wars, not the like
like someone who comes back and he's just like, ah, yeah,
my bad, I did some terrible things. Let me redeem.
(33:05):
Just give me this evil son of a bitch that
just wants to burn the gap, the whole galaxy down,
and then the Jedi need to come in and stop him.
Like I love, love, love love that it was Bell
that beat him. Do you too, And there's a very
fine line between vengeance and justice. But I think if
you're gonna do the the Rise of Skywalker ending where
(33:27):
he becomes all the Jedi, put that guy down. He
is a danger to everyone. You think he's not gonna,
you know, get out of that box that they put
him in at some point he's going to figure out
a way to do it. It's the magnet. Oh at
the end of X Men one ending he could probably
get out of that, but you know, he was there
(33:51):
floating Logan's lightsaber around the whole time, just being a
complete dick. And I was like, yes, this is this
is the villain I've been waiting for some and who
is just chaos and carnage incarnate. And then you have Bell,
who his master was killed by Marcion via the Nameless
(34:11):
and then it was like, yes, this is the hero
that's rising up too to beat him. It's not Elsa,
It's gonna I thought the whole time that the the
final battle was going to be La versus Marcula.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
I actually I thought it would be a versus. Okay,
we're gonna set up Avar was like the super Superman
Superwoman of like the Jeni goes like that would be
one I had to do it live up to our
hero of hero like that.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
But it was Bell. It was the Spider Man.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah, which is great. I love I love that as well.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
I do.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
I will say that, and I will I would want
I do want to talk about Avar and elders ending
as well. But I want to say I don't disagree.
Like I said, We're not as far off on this
as you might have thought, because I agree with everything
you said for the most part. I just didn't love
how like when he was sidelined, it just felt more
like that he was sidelined and I was kind of boring.
(35:02):
He was just kind of boring at that point, like
I just saw him sitting in this song and going
and then he just felt like, why are you even here?
I almost wish he disappeared entirely, like have one disappeared
entirely and had even the reader going, what have us go?
What is he doing? He's gotta be there. I actually
(35:23):
would prefer that because then it's like, oh, so no
one knows what he's doing. Like every once, why I
see gear sing all his ship keeps popping up in
these places. I don't need any POV from him, and
though don't want him talking to anybody at this point,
and then he comes back and does then it's like,
oh okay, cool, Like it felt like a big nothing.
But you build him up in the beginning and he's
like the focal point, and then you take him away
(35:44):
but you're not taking him away. We're still seeing some
of this stuff going on, and that's stuff that we
see just felt like a big nothing burger, Like what
am I getting out of this? That he doesn't want
to do anything? Okay, I'd prefer to get that. Snap
doesn't awesome trials the Jeddi he shows up, He's like, yeah,
fuck you all, I'm gonna just take up all of
you because that's what I want to do. That is great,
That would have been great. But yeah, so yeah, we're
(36:06):
not too far off of this. We're not on the
We're closer than we thought we might pay.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
I say, who else was a really good? I guess
violain character is as Linrell.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Loved as I loved his development. Yes, I will say
I'm doing the reread. Like I said, I'm reading phase
two right now and anything else. I also say a
Phase two is actually better this time around, after the
fifth like I kind of said, after the finish of
the climax of the story. Now I get to go
back and read it on his own, and I can
see some of the stuff going on, but as one
of the stories in there, and I love Aslynrel. I
can't wait because that's going to be one of the things.
(36:37):
More stories for sure, which we'll talk about the end,
but before we leave talk about our future projects. But
Aslin is a great, great, great villainous character because he's
more of that. Could he be redeemed, could he not
be redeemed? We don't really know that. It's kind of
left open where he definitely is still a villain, but
like there's still that kind of like there's something going
on there, an interesting story going on.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Basically, he's the power pallel to quinnan loss in this
disciple because he ultimately fell to the dark side for
the good of the Council, but then the Council rejected
him after he did it, and it wasn't until Yoda said, no,
I've been working with him for a while. Now that
you know, I trust him, he's all good wherever. That
(37:18):
plays into Yoda's naivete, but it also shows that the
cracks are starting to form in how the Jedi Council
end up becoming. And you've only got to look at
the esthetic of it. Everyone has their own different roads,
their own styles, you know. And one thing that I
love is how the High Republic shows the force in
(37:42):
different interpretations like some people it's a song, some people
it's a river. Some people with my kids through their
skills as a mechanic.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Right, I love that. That makes me happy. That absolutely
makes me happy. Good stuff there, let's see. I love
the comic, like the higher public comic books. They'll keep
Trennis and her skier and her storyline. That was kind
of cool as well. I did like that. I'll talk
about avarn els Are though. Actually one other thing about
is avar els A is ending there.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
I love I love it. It's so Shakespearean that it's
like they are they are quite obviously in love, right,
but they are destined to forever be a part.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Right.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
It's so Shakespearean tragedy that I'm like, yes.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
I read some articles, I read some reviews, and people
talk about like they didn't leg that part because it
felt like such a sad ending. Like it's not a
sad thing, it's a they're doing their duty and they're
like they know what they have to do. And I
will say, like, in general, avert Elser being the high
thing is like it was. I don't surprise me as much,
but there's a lot of love going on in the
high republic between Jedi, like in a Jedi aren't supposed
(38:53):
to be love and everything else. I got to do
it two more loosey goosey, and it's something I didn't expect.
What did you think about that aspect of it?
Speaker 3 (39:03):
I liked it because it shows that, you know, love
and emotion in general isn't black and white. You know,
you have people like Elsa who can touch the darkness
but not let it consume him, right, And you have
people like hey, Robert, can you know they are solely
(39:27):
engulfed by the light to the point where she is
now off keeping the light side and check, which I
thought was a very cool little interpretation of the brother
and the sister and the father, like that they are
now on both sides, keeping each side in check, and
(39:50):
there are two halves of a whole that can never
be put together.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
I'm interested to see if there's ever any like and
saying I want it. But I could see them like
in a couple, like revisiting them like years later. Somehow
they are years later and they have to like somebody
visit them. So I don't know it's like that, but
I will say they love stuff for me. I did
problems a strong word. Idn't have a problem with it,
but it was kind of like a it's kind of
(40:17):
like a retigon. This is a lot I'm not quite
used to it. And then I kind of put in
my mind, I wonder if like this is more how
it used to be by the time we got to
the prequel era, Like some of that stuff is like, well,
this is why we don't do it anymore, because stuff
like people kept leaving the order, people kept like getting involved,
and the kind of like screwed up some things. Maybe
that's why we decided to not maybe got locked down
(40:38):
that shit. I thought we got to anak at the
prequel era, I started thinking with that, I'm kind of like, okay,
all right, I'm open to like this seeing how that
goes for sure, And we.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Know that events happen between you know this era and
the you know the Republic era. Sorry, maybe they do
go meet every now and again. Maybe they do go
knock boots every now and again, and suddenly you know
they're like, ah, crap, things go ahead, like we better
go back to doing what we do right.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
Absolutely never know what's going to happen there. I also
throw out there we do have all those kind of
like PostScript books like The Way Seeker and The Crystal
Crown Did you even get a chance to read those
or no?
Speaker 3 (41:17):
I haven't yetnam.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
Okay, I will say there it's basically tie if you
really have a good tie between the higher public and
the acolyte, especially way seekers. Way Seeker has it's fern
Estra obviously being connected to it. I won't say anything
more about there's not a character in there, which I
was surprised that but happy to see, and that was solid.
I would say the Crystal Crown one by Tessa, it's fine.
(41:39):
It's not that great. I'll be honest. I didn't love it.
It was just kind of like, Okay, Crystaline, Crystal, Jeckie
and Yord, we're definitely the best characters in there, and
seeing like a little more into their background. It was nice,
but definitely more accolade leaning than than the ways Exerone
was just wanting to throw that out there. I know,
we got gotta finished in the next ten minutes or so,
so let's well, who were what are your You've written
(42:00):
stories that were told throughout.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Mine was definitely my top one was definitely The Rising
Storm because that was the first one that like I thought, oh,
like the Jedi, who we seeing the Jedi in their prime,
like this is this is cool? And then it all
goes wrong and it's just that sense of dread, like
when loading who is this great and powerful Jedi just
(42:24):
gets turned to stone? And that was the first time.
But I was like, and it was the second book.
I was like, wow, you are like you're going in
this early right? Cool? Yeah, I think that that was
probably my my number one, Like, if I'm going if
(42:44):
I had to like immediately go back to one, that's
probably the one that I'm going to.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Gotcha, that's fair. I thought it would definitely be Gang
great Land. The Jedi did like that quite a bit.
I think The Falling Star is probably still my favorite
of the books. But I'm a sucker for a good
disastrous sure anyway, have them all in there.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
It was like Warstar twenty four.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yeah, absolutely, And I will also say Trials the Jedi.
I will throw that out there as one of my favorites.
That did bring it all home in a good way.
I think overall, in a good, solid way with all
some of my favorite characters throughout. I did love seeing
the Blades final stories with with with advice and everything else.
But yeah, how about your give me quick off the top,
(43:28):
off the top of their head? Your your top five
characters are introduced in the in the oh Man, that
doesn't have been like ranked, like your your figure five
that you want to see more.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
Of Porter Angle, Geode, you know who I rate it up.
That's kind of a stupid character. Sure, the Hut we
got hot, we got hout named.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
Sure, I will say I liked them a lot more
than I thought I was going to. When he was
first introduced, I argue.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
That, yeah, like it shows that like huts can be good.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah, it was nice to say. It was definitely a
different attack.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Him and Jedo let my two like crazy off the
wall picks Asen. I really liked Asan Raw a lot,
and obviously number one Machi On Machion is my guy.
He was such a great villain, even like towards the end,
like he had this whole mass plan, he had planned
(44:34):
a through z all planned out, and then he just
decided to go, fuck it, let's just.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Throw it down.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
I love it already throughout their Tay York and Leos
all just throw those up. There is definitely some of
my favorites for sure. I really did enjoy l Zar throughout.
I thought he was an interesting way he kind of
kept like touching the dark side, but kind of kept
coming back and like trying to find that middle ground
through Avar, And that was a great moment for her.
I definitely like I think Dave as well. I really
(45:02):
like Burry, but it was kind of fun.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Oh yeah, of course Berry.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Yeah, Brian had some great him and Bell's roaderie and
friendship was really awesome to see as well.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
For actually, I'll take out your arm put in MBO.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
Members always greatnumbers, always, but not fascinating. I really liked
I'll throw a Phase two character actual, I like the
gray Lark's Actual Gray Lark was great in Phase two?
His was it? Tristan was a new one?
Speaker 3 (45:32):
Or can I can I make a quick real world
comparison that actually Gray Luck actual Gray Luck is the
hunt of Bidens.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
That's a good call. That's a good call like that.
I like that aspect of it for sure. Yeah. I
pretty much liked everybody. Nan had some good moments for sure.
I like Gio just great of course. Uh yeah, all right,
let's in the last like five minutes we have. Let's
(46:03):
talk about the future now that the High Republic is done.
But what would you want to see in a phase
more situation? What would you want to see come out
of that?
Speaker 3 (46:12):
I have said this from the start and I will
continue to bang this strong geod rock opera.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
How about somebody that's likely possible to happen?
Speaker 3 (46:25):
It could happen. Star Wars is all about you know,
they want to like create new stories, right right, there's
your story. I want to find out what he's like
when he's you know, out partying, what he's like when
he's helping lyok, save the day. The fact that you
know e was Ar gets on the ship and just
(46:47):
thinks he's a rock because he can sense him in
the force. It's like, no, he's actually like this sentient
life form.
Speaker 2 (46:54):
It was definitely an interesting character. I will absolutely say
that for sure. Yes, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Obviously we need to know what happens with the Neestra mhm.
I get her reasons for not turning against the order,
but the path that she ends up going down, and
we see her go down in the Acolyte because she
(47:21):
got done dirty a few times.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
Sah, that's fairy.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
What about you?
Speaker 2 (47:29):
Okay? A couple of things I want to throw out there.
First of all, I would love a higher public, animated,
serious like something in there. I don't know that's necessarily
what story would tell of aficially, but give me something
out there. I'd love to see someone's come to life
some of stuff you could tell. I definitely want to
see Wreath and an Ascelin's that I was definitely left
open for a reason. I think we're gonna get more
of that story, obviously reasoning after at that point I
(47:51):
figure out what's going on. I would love to see,
Like I said, give me the adventures of the crew
of the vessel Leax and company, like I have that
ship go around doing so obviously have scoundrels type of
situation there. You can meet up with anybody, you can
go at pirates, so you can go with a good
side of things straddle that line. That'd been a fun
story to tell. I personally would love to see more
(48:16):
Minis on the in the vein of like the Thai
York monster Hunter kind of thing. Let her go back
to being a monster hunter kind.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
Of thing, especially because of the game Monster Hunter and
so popular. Doing a show like that or a book
or whatever like that would be pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Well, she's also she's just one of my character I
think the reason why I like her so much is
she's one of these characters that she is kind of
reminded me a little bit of Zaying Karrick from back
in a nice deal of publicnic case. Like she's just
like she's not a Jedi, she still has a Landstaber
and she's kind of doing her own thing as a ways,
like she's not answering to the counsel or anything of that,
but she's kind of like still can use the Force,
still be a Jedi, asking away without being a Jedi,
(48:54):
And it's just kind of fascinates measically where she would
go from there. So I would love to see something
like that potentially. And yeah, yeah, those are kind of
the main ideas I would like to see developed further
where eld else I want to go I do. I'd
like to see more connections, connectivity between the acolyte and
and the higher public. I know the accolete is kind
of like a dirty word and lucasfilm probably right now
(49:15):
in terms of like not wanting to touch it at
this point, but maybe we can have some more connectivity
that way.
Speaker 3 (49:20):
They keep catting Manny out to these conventions, So I'd
like to think that they're at least talking to him
about doing something, because if he's doing all this work
still to promote that show, right, at least give him something.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
I think there's no way we can't. We don't. I
think there's no way. We never see managers outdo their
gun because he Even people who hate the Accolyte were like, yeah,
but he's pretty good. He's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
I think they're very interesting. He's an interesting character. So
I would love to say that see. And that's the
one thing I will say real quick that I was
disappointed about Way Seeker. I really was hoping that would
get more of Vernushtra and the Stranger, like their backstory,
what happened there a little bit. I know after reading,
I'm kind of like, yeah, they're probably saving that for
something like as far as like World, because that's happened.
(50:07):
The problem with the books has always been in the
Disney era is that everything that's a really cool story
you almost have to save for the big screen or
small screen in away. So it kind of gets, you know,
shitty that way, unfortunately. But yes or no, would you
like to see another swing out of the big ambitious
taking like this set in a different era or something
different or whatever what you think.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
Of, Yeah, just make it a bit sure. Well, I'm
also these multi thing multi media initiative. My thing is
like a lot of the multimedia that they've done is
either books, comics, and yeah I have books and comics. Really,
(50:50):
we've got a few audio dramas. Let's see some more
visual stuff, guys, Let's see some you know it's multimedia.
Let's let's get a game set in the High Republic. Well,
I know they were supposed to do Eclipse, but the
studio head, the game director of that game is not
a good person, So I guess that game look canned.
(51:13):
But yeah, reach out to more different forms of media
as well as just books and comics and a couple
of audio dramas. Thet's see some like poor people who
maybe don't read a lot. Pull in the pull in
the more casual the football fans, as I like to
call them, the people that just go there to watch
the movies. I start catering a bit to them as well.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
I will say I agree with you entirely, and then personally,
I know mine's not going to happen. I know it's not,
because it's it's everything that's against what he wants to
do with Star Wars. Right now, Stars, I say, even
go myself, dig deep and deeper. I'm such a homework guy.
I love the homework stuff. So I want to see
I would love to see an epic where we have
a book, comic, young adult book, a series, and animated show,
(51:57):
a movie like everything. It's all like one era that's
like like tie together somehow. I think it could happen.
If it happened, it'd be great. I would love it
to be immersed like that into a Saga game, everything,
the whole thing. I know it's against likely now. It's
like there got to move away because the hell like
people couldn't handle Disney Plus shows having to watch them
are marvel like anyways, it's like they got more of
(52:19):
the casual stuff. And I get it. I get it,
but just selling what I would love to say. But
all right, Maddy, working the most find you will let
you finish this up.
Speaker 3 (52:28):
You can find me on all social media at Matthew Morning.
You can find my band Mona on all stream platforms
this weekend. You can find me at MGS com that's Memes,
Geenes and Snakes convention. No associated with Metal, get Solid
or Kardamy in any way, completely fan run convention. I
have to put that out legally so I will be
there at that in Ontario, in Ontario, California. If you
(52:50):
see me, come say hello. You will find me here
every other week. Now that we're we're back on I
want to say schedule hoped. I believe we're doing Michael
Clayton in a couple of weeks. Don't hold me to
that again, schedules might change, but and you can also
(53:10):
find me on the comments sections of pods episodes of
Very Since.
Speaker 2 (53:15):

be news two weeks after that with Michael Clayton, everything
goes right, you find me at Poulin Switter, palondercart of News,
You on Twitter or at Paul News, you in a
p sky, at social, all of the channels to my aga,
giks on film PG and I doing the Ghostbusters slash
Men in Black crossover the season. Also doing on the
(53:35):
Patreon like I mentioned earlier, the MCU rewatch We are up.
You finished phase one to phase two of a recording
Avengers Age of Ultron next week and that should be
up then on the Patreon. We'll be on the main
channel eventually at some point, but I want to let
that sit exclusively for a while first. Also, review and
Leg and I are getting back together soon, probably not
this Sunday. I text you Massature the next Sunday, so
(53:56):
hopefull we'll get back into that as well. And yeah,
class Action, I don't know when until they come back.
At this point, I kind of need to let life
settle down a little bit. Probably I'll take a couple
of months off from class Action. We can reconvene the
fure out.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
Then we need we need to come up with one
that's like a banger, because if we had the idea
to do Superman, that's fantastic for me. That it was
just like that's just picking the two blow busters up
against each other. There's no real like fun.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
Yeah, to we had that like like we had with
the m I and the discourse. The discourse made it
less fun too, so honestly, so forget, I don't want
to bother it. That's it right, all right? Yeah, So
that's it. We will see you next time here on
Holy Snokes again. News and then for Michael Clayton that's Maddy.
I'm peld and
Speaker 1 (54:42):
May the Force be with you always
