and amen. All right. Sobefore we jump into today's teaching of today's
episode, I want to review thevision of Hoping Christ's Ministries and Hoping Christ

(03:06):
within these podcasts. So, thevision of Hoping Christ's Ministries is to help
others to learn ways to organize yourthoughts and unfold God's Word through the Hope
Way resources, lessons from the Wordhosting, Bible journal, in verse mapping
workshops, and these podcast episodes,as well as speaking engagements about wholeness and

(03:30):
true identity in Christ. So wehave been walking through a series on with
the title walking in Relationship, andwe know how important it is to walk
in relationship with the Lord. Itis vital for our spiritual health. And
so we're going to continue in thatseries and we know again it's an important

(03:53):
part of our relationship with the Lord. And one of those most vital parts
of our relationship with the Lord isprayer. And God has blessed me in
giving me some components of prayer usingeach letter in the word prayer, and
so we're going to dive into thatfor the next few episodes. So today

(04:15):
we're going to begin with the peein prayer, and the piece stands for
posturing yourself, yourself, myself, all of us. And we posture ourselves
under the mighty hand of God sothat He can do the will his will
through us and He can show usthe way to go. And so the
first letter in prayer is posturing yourself. So if you are taking notes,

(04:41):
I pray that you would go aheadand grab something, grab a pen,
grab some paper, grab notebook, highlighters, whatever you need to grab,
because I know that God is givingus something amazing to chew on today and
for the next few weeks. Andso the prayer acronym is so our strategy

(05:05):
for today, remembering that at hereat hope and Christ within these one of
the things that I do is teachyou ways to unfold God's word. And
so one of those strategies that we'regonna use today is called an acronym.
And acronyms are used. I'm anEnglish teacher, and acronyms are used to
help you organize your thoughts. Andso God gave me some words or phrases

(05:31):
for each of letter to help usorganize our thoughts so that we can use
them however we choose in prayer orwhen we're studying prayers. Are people's people
prayed in the scriptures. And sothis is dear to my heart because as
I was studying Solomon's prayer, Icame up with this acronym. And it

(05:55):
wasn't me to God be the absoluteLord. It's all God. He's the
one that gave me this acronym. And so the acronym is posture your heart.
The P the R is reverence, have reverence for God, repent and
release things. And we'll talk aboutthat in the next episode. Acknowledgement acknowledging
who God is, or get intothat as well and yielding our position.

(06:21):
So as Christ said, not mywill, but God will be done.
And then the E is in treatingGod for other people, not just for
ourselves. And then the final Rin prayer is reflect on what God has
already done in our lives. Andso yes, I put that at the
end because sometimes we walk away fromwhen we pray, or when we are

(06:45):
writing in prayer journals or whatever Godhas given us to do, we may
walk away feeling like it's God reallygoing to do it. And so in
that final part of the prayer acronym, I want us to start stop and
reflect, just sit, steal orwrite a prayer, whatever we have to
do to remember what God has alreadydone. And so we'll get more and

(07:09):
more to the other parts of theprayer acronym. But today we're going to
focus in and zoom in on posturein our hearts. All right, So
what does the word posture mean?So as an English teacher, many of
you who've heard me teach online, hurt me teach on the radio podcast on
Kingdom Influencers and Divine the Restoration ministries, you understand and you know that I

(07:33):
love word definitions. I love wordstudy, right, And so the first
thing we want to talk about iswhat does the word posture really mean?
Because in some minds, we maythink that posture is the way we're standing,
or the way we kneel down topray, or how cute we look

(07:55):
with our prayer shaws on and allthose different things. We may I think
that's what posturing means. But rememberthe phrase what we're talking about today is
posturing our heart. And so thedefinition of that, if you're taking notes
or if you're not going to listento the replay, is the attitude a

(08:16):
settled way of thinking or feeling aboutsomeone or something. So our attitude towards
God and the things of God andour relationship with God. So that's what
we're going to be looking at todayand the behavior that comes with that attitude,
So the behavior, the conduct, and the stance that we take when

(08:37):
we come to God in prayer. Now, posturing our heart is not just
for prayer, because we have toposture our heart when we come to Christ
in general. But we want tostay focused on posturing our hearts in prayer.
Amen. And we're going to usesome practical things that we see in

(08:58):
They may not these individuals may notbe praying, but we know that they
have either been in prayer or they'reseeking God in some form or fashion because
of the way they their attitude andtheir behavior and their conduct is towards God.
Amen. And so again, posturemeans that attitude and settle way of

(09:22):
thinking or feeling about someone or something. And in our context, we want
to say the attitude, our settleway of thinking or feeling about God and
who he is and his power andhis authority and everything that He can do
in our lives. Amen. Allright. So the next part of this

(09:43):
is we're going to look at aswe looked at the definition, it says,
as you see, our posture isrelated to our way of thinking.
So our postures related to the waythe way that we think or the way
we feel about something. So whatis your way of thinking as it relates

(10:03):
to prayer, as it relates toGod? Right? Is it just the
religious practice? Is it something tocheck off our list? Right? Because
sometimes we get like that. Wemay just I've done, I need to
pray, so let me check thatoff. I did that. Now I'm
done, I need to go getgrocery. I need to do this,
I need to do that. Isit that or is it only done in

(10:26):
church? So what is it?What's our attitude as it relates to prayer
and prayer specifically as it goes withwalking in our relationship with the Lord?
Is it? Is there a specialwords that we have to say when we
pray? You know, a lotof time we live in a culture where

(10:50):
people tell us, oh, no, you got to pray like this,
and you have to do like this, and and and and we Jesus said,
come unto me, right, Hesaid, come on, then say
come on to me. If youhave this, and you have that,
and you have all these special things, He said, come on to me
all who are heavy later and Iwill give you rest. But he's drawing
us, and we come to him. One of the ways we drawn to

(11:13):
him is in prayer. And sowe have to get out of this mindset
right and stop letting so many differentvoices go into our minds so that we
think that we can't go to Godin prayer. Hey man. And then
the last part, the last questionand our opener I want to ask,
is do we believe when we pray? Right? That's a big one.

(11:37):
Do you believe when you pray?Because that's that's that's important, because if
we don't believe, and why wepraying? Right, My mother in law
used to say, if you're gonna, if you're gonna worry, don't pray.
And then she said, if you'regonna, if you're going to pray,
then stop worrying. Why because youhave to believe what you're praying and

(11:58):
man, and so we want totalk about those things today. Amen,
all right. So another part ofour opener is what comes to mind when
you think of our heart posture? And so what I wrote, I made
a little little splash word splash aswe call it in school. I wrote

(12:20):
down some words, and I startedthinking about what comes to mind when I
think about the heart posture. Andone of the words that comes to my
mind immediately is being humble or humility. That word has to be when we
come to God. We have tocome to God humbly. We can't come

(12:41):
to God with pride. We cannotcome to God telling God, well,
we think his words should be whatwe think he should be doing and how
he should be doing it, andwhy he shouldn't do this, and why
he shouldn't do that because he aloneis God. And as he said to
Job in the Book of Job,he said, where were you when I
laid the foundations of the earth. So we have to come to God in

(13:05):
a humble fashion when we pray. One of the other words that come to
my mind when I think about theheart posture of prayer is we have to
be open with God. Right. We can't come to God already deciding that
if he don't do what I'm gettingready to ask him to do, then
I'm done. Right, We can'tcome to God like that. We have

(13:28):
to be open to hear God's will, right, And also we have to
submit to God's will. And forthose that are watching on the video format,
the last word here is honest,And so it kind of broke up
in the in the typing, Buthonest. We have to be honest with
God. And ma'am, we haveto be absolutely honest with God. Why

(13:52):
why do we have to be honest? Because He already know. I don't
know why we walk around this world, we go to and fro in this
world of God and pretend as ifHe don't already know. It's a relationship.
Because we're coming to him for himto lead and guide us in the
already the thing he already knows, right, And so we have to be

(14:15):
honest with God. One of theother things. We have to absolutely be
vulnerable. We can't heal, wecan't be deliberal, we can't be said
free unless we are vulnerable with God. We have to come to God.
I remember the times that I havecome to God in prayer and tears and
sorrow and sobbing and all these differentthings, vulnerable because He has the answers.

(14:39):
But again it goes back to dowe believe he has the answers for
us? And so we want tobe vulnerable in the presence of the Lord.
Amen, and then honoring God.There is The Bible says in the
Book of Doudoonermy, there is onlyone God, right, There is only
one God. There is not multipleways to get to go and all these

(15:01):
gods. And even though man hascreated religions, there is only one God.
Amen, Hallelujah, bless his name. And so we come to God,
honoring him as the God of heavenand earth. The Bible says in
Genesis one, in the beginning,God not God's It said in the beginning

(15:24):
God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was without form and
void, and darkness was over usthe face of the deep and the world
goes on in Genesis one to twentyseven to say that God made man in
his own image. It is notplural. The book of Genesis does not
use plurality. Pro pure plurality.Sorry, it does not. It tells

(15:50):
us that God is God, andthe Word says that when we pray,
we prayed the Father, Son andHoly Spirit, and these three are one
right, and we want to makesure that we honor God. Right,
we honor him for who he is. Amen. And so those are some
things that came to my heart whenI thought about heart posture. And even

(16:14):
as you see in just a momentago and where I stumbled and I fumbled,
it's a heart posture. Am Idoing this for me? Or am
I doing this for the Lord? And so when we're doing something for God,
we're gonna miss up why because we'rehuman? But He alone is God
right, He's greater than we are. And so I thank God for not

(16:37):
saying or my flesh not saying,Okay, I'm gonna start all the way
over. But God is like keepmoving why, because he is perfect.
We're not perfect. Amen, Thankyou Lord, hallelujah. All right,
So we're gonna look at some scriptures, right, And we're gonna look at
some scriptures in the book of Psalms, right, because that's where we see

(17:00):
a lot of prayers in reveren syingand singing onto the Lord. And so
we see here in Psalm fifty oneone or two where it says, and
this is the sum of David, one of the Psalms of David, where
he says, have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast
love, according to your abundant mercy, blot out my transgressions, wash me

(17:25):
thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanseme from my sin. He said,
again, have mercy on me.So this is David coming with a heart
posture, knowing that God is God, and he is the God of creation.
He's the God of the universe. He's the God of Abraham, Isaac

(17:45):
and Jacob and Moses, and evenhe's the God of us. Right,
And so David comes to him saying, have mercy on me, because he's
acknowledging and honoring him in his powerand his authority as God, as the
one true living God. And sohe says, how mercy on me,
O God, according to your standfastlove and the love that God shows us,

(18:11):
it never ends, it remains. That's what stepfast means, remaining staying
there. And so he's come andknowing that the love that he needs,
the love that he seeks, isonly found in God. Can we park
right there for a minute, becausewe're searching for love, even in our
family. We are searching for loveand people and relationships and all these different

(18:33):
things. But the standfast love isonly found in God. And so we
see here the heart posture of David. We see that he's saying, God,
you're the one who loves me.And can we say, can I
just add to that, just justa minute a side note. Only God
can show others how the love, how to love. Right. People can't

(18:59):
get give you what they don't have. I had to learn that right.
They can't give you step fast loveif they don't know how to give it.
Right. God is the one whohas stepfast love for us. Right.
And then it says, according toyour abundant mercy, your abundant mercy.
So he is acknowledging he's showing ashe's praying as he's talking to God

(19:23):
that he knows that God even asa human being, he knows he's a
human. But God will have mercybecause he understands because he created us.
Right, and he said, blotout my transgressions. So we see him
being humble here, right, wesee him being humble before the mighty hand

(19:45):
of God saying, hey, Ihave transgressed against you, Lord. It
was the meaning. And can weagain another side note, can we make
sure we make it known and understandthat we sin against God and God alone?
Right? It affects people, itaffects the relationships we have. But

(20:06):
we sin against God because he's thecreator and he's the one who set the
standard for our lives. Amen. And then he says, wash me thoroughly
from my iniquity. So again he'scoming humbly, right, he's open,
he's being honest, Lord, Ihave sinned, and he says, and
cleanse me from my sin. Sohe's acknowledging that God is the only one

(20:33):
who can do this. We can'tfix ourselves. Can I just set you
free for a minute? And itsaid, all us free. If we're
waiting to heal ourselves, deliver ourselvesand cleanse our own sins. We are
going to be waiting forever and everand ever, because it's not gonna happen.
Only God can do that. AndI will stand ten toes down flat

(20:59):
footage and admit it. Why becauseI know I've walked through it. I
walked through healing, I walked throughcleansing from saying I know that I,
denise, minister of the Gospel, lover of Jesus Christ, cannot cleanse myself.

(21:19):
Cannot. I cannot, absolutely positivelycannot amen. And so what do
we again? What else do wenotice about David in this first part of
the scripture that we just shared, and that scripture, I'm sorry, I'm
gonna go back for a second. That is Psalm fifty one, verses one
through two. So in Psalm fiftyone, verses one through two, we

(21:41):
see reverence. We notice that he'sreverencing God. So all through prayer,
when we are praying, we shouldbe reverencing God. He said, have
mercy on me, he said IHe didn't. He didn't say that to
his father, brother, sister, mother. He's it. But God because
of knowing his status who God is, so he says, have mercy.

(22:07):
So that's reverence. And then hesaid, blot out my transgressions. He
didn't blame other people for sin andagainst God, he said, I did
it. So he comes with sorrow. He comes before God with sorrow.

(22:29):
Right, he says, blot outmy transgressions. And then also in the
last one of the other parts ofthe scripture that stood out, he said,
wash me thoroughly from my iniquity andcleanse me from my sin, sorrow
and humility. Again, I didit. It was me, and he

(22:52):
wants God to take it away. And so he goes before God and a
humble humbleness of heart and godly sorrow. Amen. And then we have Psalm
fifty five, verses three through four, and in that we see for I
know my transgression, so he continues. So David continues, I know my

(23:17):
transgressions, and my sin is everbefore me, he said, I know
I done sin, and there isit's it's present, it's here. He
said, against you, you onlyhave I sin and done what is evil
in who's sight? Not my sightand your sight. He said, against

(23:41):
you, you only have I sinnedand done what is evil in your sight?
Why? Because God sets the standardof living and so David is repenting
here, and we're going to getto repenting in the next episode, but
this is we see him repenting.Right. He said, I you I

(24:03):
have sinned against. I might havebrought harm to some other people, but
it's you that I have sinned against. He says, So that you may
be justified in your words and blamenessin your judgment. He's not. You
don't. We don't see a heartof arrogance here. We see a heart

(24:25):
of humility. We see that he'ssaying to God, you are righting your
judgment towards me, many of uswhen we walk in and it's a new
age as we as I would callit, this new age. We hear
people say, but I'm a goodperson, says who? Says who?

(24:45):
Because the standard doesn't begin with me, and the standard doesn't end with me.
The standard begins and ends with God. And so the word says that
all have sinned and fallen short ofthe glory of God. And so when
we say something is not sin right, we can't. That's that's not humility.
That is a prideful in a sense, because we're saying to God what

(25:08):
he said is not right. Butwe see here David's posture of his heart.
He's saying to God, for youand you only have I sinned against
and I've done what is evil inyour say, in your say, Amen,

(25:29):
Hallelujah, bless your name Jesus. And then the last part for Psalm
fifty five, we're gonna look atverse five and it says, behold I
brought I was brought forth in iniquityand in sin. Did my mother conceive
me? Right? He is openhis heart open to God. Listen,
Lord, I know born, andI was born in sin and shaped and

(25:53):
iniquity. I am but human being. I am dust. Forgive me like
only you can. Amen. Andso we see a few other things that
we notice in these scriptures. Wesee humility again, we see vulnerability,

(26:15):
and we see honesty with God.And so the humility, vulnerability, and
honesty we notice this in David's posture, his heart posture towards God. So
in the humility, and we seehim saying, against you, you only
have our sin and done what isevil. See the opposite of that would
be pride. So the opposite ofhumility is pride to say, oh,

(26:37):
this is not a sin. Thisis an ancient text this is an ancient
book, and it wasn't for us, it was for the people back then.
That's the opposite of humility. Andso we have to check ourselves when
we come before God. When wecome to God, not just in prayer,
but in the presence of the Godof God. We want God to
move in our lives. We wantto be healed, delivered, in said

(27:00):
free. We have to come witha heart of humility. Amen. And
then the vulnerability we see where hesays, I know my transgressions and my
sin is ever before me. He'svulnerable before God. It's like God,
I can't even lie. It iswhat it is. I did it.
And so that's the vulnerability. Wecan be vulnerable. It's interesting to me

(27:22):
how sometimes we can be so vulnerablebefore other people, in the presence of
other people that we deem to trust, but the one true God we feel
that we can't be vulnerable when Healready knows it. That's like me trying
to hide in plain sight, likeI'm sitting here, but I'm like,
you can't. Can you see me? You can see me, you can

(27:45):
hear me. It's it's it's doesn'tmake sense. I can't hide because God
is God right, and he's everywhereand he knows all things. And so
I have to just let go andbe vulnerable, be vulnerable to him,
because he alone has the answers. He alone. He's a gentleman. He's

(28:07):
not gonna force it. It's notgonna force us to come to his love,
to his steadfast love. Remember whatDavid said, his steadfast love.
He's not gonna force it, buthe wants to do it. And man,
and then he was honest. Hesaid I was brought forth in iniquity,
and in saying did my mother conceiveme? He knew that was the

(28:29):
truth, you know. And inour world today people that what he You
know that that's an insult. No, it's not. It's truth, right,
And so we have to be honest. We always born in sin and
shape and iniquity we were, andso we have to be honest in that
imposturing our heart before the Lord.Amen. All right, just another scripture
that we're gonna look at. Andthis one is not necessarily prayer or speaking

(28:55):
to God right, or reverencing Godand singing and song, but this is
the Widow's offering. And I thoughtabout this cause I said, God,
I want another scripture about the postureof the heart. And immediately the widow
that was given her last came tome right and and and this is the

(29:18):
scripture, and it's mark twelve, forty one and forty two. And it
says and he and he Jesus satdown opposite the treasury and watched the people
putting money into the offering box.And it says many rich people put in
large songs, and a poor widowcame and put in two small copper coins,

(29:45):
which ma won't make a penny. So she put in these two little
coins that only made one cent. And Jesus called his disciples to him and
said to them, truly, Isay to you, this poor widow has

(30:08):
put in more than all those whoare contributing to the offering box. For
they all contributed out of their abundance. But she, out of her poverty,
has put in everything she had,all she had to live on.
So someone who has an a posturedheart, a heart towards God, a

(30:33):
humble heart, of a vulnerable heart, this lady was vulnerable before these people
with they were just given out oftheir abundance, as Jesus said, And
so there was just I would callit in our time just doing like you
know, a religious practice. Wegive so we're supposed to give so here.
But this woman clearly that was therewas something on her heart that she

(30:56):
was trusting God for and she waswilling to give it all up to know
that God would do whatever it isshe needed him to do a man.
And so I found this to besomething that was very key of looking at
a heart posture because it wasn't aboutwhat they were given, clearly we see

(31:18):
that in Jesus words, but itwas about the heart behind the giving Amen.
And so we want to again,I know we're talking about prayer,
but we want to make sure thatwhatever we do, that our heart is
postured in such a way that itis not prideful and it's not look at
what I have and what I'm ableto give, but it's God. I

(31:41):
trust you. I trust you withmillions because you are my God. I
trust you with two dollars and knowingthat you can provide more. I trust
you because you're the creative heaven andearth. And I know that whatever my
need is, if my need,my need may not be money, my
need may be peace. And soI know that you are the God of

(32:04):
peace. And so we have tocome before God with a heart postured,
because the Word says that man looksat the at the outer appearance of individuals,
but God looks at the heart. And so whenever we do something,
we need to be mindful that Godsees the heart. We see Jesus responding
to this woman's heart, her postureof our heart. Amen, just a

(32:31):
little bit more. And so whatdo we see here? Absolutely positively we
see faith. We absolutely see faithhere. Faith it says, has put
in more than all those who arecontributed to the offering box. Her too,

(32:51):
copper coins that made up one sinwas more than all the money that
was placed in the offering box.So we see faith in this woman.
Right. And then we see vulnerability. As I said earlier, a poor
widow came and put in two smallcopper corns which make a penny. So
her vulnerability to be in the nothaving anything. Of course, I'm sure

(33:15):
she was. She was looked atfunny and all these other things, but
she didn't care. She didn't care, So it's something to be said about
being vulnerable. Freedom comes I believewith being vulnerable as well. Amen.
And then honor she out of herpoverty has put in everything she had,

(33:38):
all she had to live on.So she it was it was honoring God
above herself. This is mine. This is my opinion about this. And
I what I see, what Ipick up from this scripture is that she
was honoring God more than herself. Her faith in God knew that that wasn't

(34:00):
it. She might have put whatwas last, but God was going to
provide more and man, so wewant to think about that when we're thinking
about heart posture. And then andso we've seen a couple of scriptures David,
right, we've seen David. We'veseen how David's heart was vulnerable and

(34:25):
honoring in it and and humble beforethe Lord. And so I just wanted
to give a few pieces of scripturethat help us to see what a heart
posture, what our heart posture shouldbe. Right. We know that there
are some scriptures where it shows thatthe person's heart wasn't humble, right,

(34:47):
their heart wasn't honoring to God.It's part that they had pride and arrogance
and different things. And but Iwanted to focus in on the humble heart,
the heart that was vulnerable, theheart that was honoring to God.
And all these different positive traits, because that's what we have to have when

(35:07):
we come before the Mighty King andMan. And so I thank you all
for tuning in. In our nextepisode, we're going to talk about repenting
and releasing. We're going to betalking about we know what repent means.
So I'm just gonna briefly talk aboutwhat the next episode is going to be.
We know again what repent is.But releasing what are we going to

(35:30):
be talking about? Releasing, releasingother people, releasing our will and our
own desires, and releasing our pastpain and failures. Right, And so
when we come to God, wepostured before in a humble heart seeking the
Lord, knowing who God is,coming in faith, right, even though

(35:51):
we have just a must see offaith, God can grow that faith,
right, And so we don't haveto have be this person who know how
to speak these these eloquent words toGod in prayer, because remember we just
finished talking about God looks at theheart, So that person could have all
these eloquent words to say and theirheart be so far from God. And

(36:14):
so I want you to keep inmind that when you come to God in
prayer and drawing a relationship with theLord. He is seeking a heart right,
He is seeking our heart to bepostured in such a way where it's
not pride in Ericans, because whenwe have pride, were walking in pride,
and we won't our way. Andwe want to know why God didn't

(36:36):
punish the person who hurt us andall these other things we can't hear God
clearly a man, and we haveto remember one thing. One thing God
had to remind me is that allall have sinned and that Christ died for
each and every one of us,including the person or the persons who hurt
us, Say man, and soI pray that you will stay tuned into

(36:59):
the next episode where we talk aboutrepenting and releasing others and releasing things and
releasing even ourselves from the throne ofour own heart. Amen, so that
we can grow in our relationship withthe Lord. All right, before we
leave, I want to share becauseagain remember helping Christ with Denise and helping

(37:20):
christ ministries, we show others howto dive into God's work, how to
unfold God's work so that we canget to the one goal, walking in
true identity with God, walking inpurpose and knowing who we are in Him
a man, and so knowing andreverencing God and honoring God as our God,

(37:45):
and allowing Christ to be Lord ofour lives a man, and we
dethrown ourselves and allow Him to bethe Lord. And we're not lord anymore.
And so one of the things Iwant to share with you is some
basic Bible tools study tools that Iuse often. And so again you're gonna

(38:07):
hear me talk more and more onthe podcast now this year about verse mapping,
Bible study strategies, things that helpus to get back to God's Word,
because the thing that God wants usto do is get to his word.
Get to Him and his word andprayer and true relationship and ma'am.

(38:29):
And so a couple of things thatI want to share with you is I'm
a Bible journaler. I am averse mapper. I create verse mapping resources
for others as part of my industry, and so I am Some of the
things that you could use are stickynotes, and pens and color pencils,
highlighters. You don't have to doall of those at once, but some

(38:51):
of the things that these are someof the things that I use to dig
into the Word with the sticky notesI take and I make note of things
that stand out to me, maybekeywords, whatever it is that stands out.
That's what I do with my stickynose highlighters. I highlight. Sometimes
I highlight with different color codes whereif people are having conversations, right,

(39:14):
I highlight those different and different colors. Wash she tape because I again,
I have a journaling Bible and Iand I do journaling, right, I
do verse mapping. Washing tape isimportant because I'm using it to stick notes
in and and just kind of decoratemy Bible. That's something that I like
to do. It's nothing wrong withwashing wash you tape and stickers, And

(39:38):
soon I'll be creating my own stickersfor my Resource ministry and the Hope Way,
and I'll be adding some things there. But stickers are so much fun.
So you I like me, grabme some stickers and dip into the
word. One of the other thingsthat I use often, almost every single

(40:00):
time that I study the word isthe strong skun accordance. The strong skuncordance
is important because we want to lookat the original Hebrew understanding of a word,
in the original Greek understanding of aword. So that's very important.
And then I have a strategy binderbecause again I create strategies for studying the
word, and so I have myown binder because I use my own resources

(40:22):
and I just love to just justdive in. I just mentioned the journal
journaling Bible I have is the ESBJournaling Bible. It is phenomenal. So
if you get a chance to grabone, do so. And then the
Olive Tree Bible app and you VersionBible apps. I use them all the
time. To Carter Bible app Iuse sometimes, but Olive Tree and U

(40:45):
Version I use all the time.I love the audio version on you on
the U Version app. And OliveTree has so many resources of commentary,
atlases, all kind of things thatyou can use to really really understand the
historical side of the word and man, so I wanted to share that with

(41:07):
you. So as a takeaway fromthis episode, and then again thank you
