Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
a new mindset, and another day. If you'd become the
Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy Wednesday,
Welcome back to another episode. Hope you guys are having
a good week. So far, so random, but today I
(00:35):
actually had dairy for the first time in what feels
like years. To be honest, I've been really trying to
get oat milk out of my day to day lifestyle
because I use oat milk for all my coffees, and
I've been trying to incorporate dairy back into my routine.
I actually just recorded a little rant on TikTok just
about dairy and oat milk and all that, and like,
(00:58):
I don't know, I just hate that these non dairy
products were pushed out for so long, for so many years,
and we believed that it was okay to drink, and
we believed that, you know, it was actually better than dairy.
Like for some reason, people thought dairy was so bad
years ago, and now everyone's saying, yeah, cut that stuff
(01:18):
out and go back to dairy, Like dairy's actually better
for you. There's more nutrition value, there's more protein and
all in all those just like no added shit in it, essentially.
So I just went on this rant on TikTok just saying,
like how I followed a lot of these influencers back
in twenty seventeen who were just like pushing non dairy
so much and all these recipes, and I just was
(01:39):
young at the time and just assumed that like that
was healthier for you, And I didn't really know, right.
I wasn't you know, listening to a nutritionist or anything
like that. Like I was truly just following other influencers
that I followed. And I don't mean to just like
start the episode this way. I'm just like still on
the rant of this, but I just hate that people
(02:00):
are creating these products to sell thinking it's good for us,
and then it's actually not good for us, and then
we don't realize it and all this like bad stuff
comes out, and it's like, well, why were people convincing
us that this was a better alternative. It's just the
world is just such an interesting place, like even thinking
about you know, I don't know if you guys are
on that side of TikTok or Instagram where you know,
(02:22):
people are just talking about like things that give you cancer,
Like you know, your cookware, your cutting boards. At this
point in our life, literally anything or everything could cause cancer,
you know what I mean. Like, it's just there's so
much out there that is bad for you, and there's
so much out there that's so good for you. But
like there's only so much we can do to you know,
better ourselves, right, So it's just hard. I really wish
(02:45):
products aren't being sold to people who you know, could
get harm to it when it comes to like getting
sick or whatever the case be. Like I just really
wish there wasn't products out there like that. I really
wish we could all just like pray and manifest that
we live a long health life and that these things,
you know, shouldn't have to impact our health. Like I've
had so many comments already talking about how girls have
(03:06):
been going to a natural path, about this whole dairy
and non dairy situation, and how our bodies have just changed.
Our people are just having issues with consuming dairy and
have no choice but to go down the non dairy
route all that. So anyways, I just went on a
little rant because I just hate that we have to
go through this, and yeah, this just shouldn't have even
been a thing. But anyways, that's how we starting the
(03:29):
episode off as me ranting about frickin' milks. But anyways,
ignore my little brant. I just wanted to rant for
that for a second because it was something that I
was doing today. I was switching out my milks and
I was trying dairy out. Not gonna lie, I didn't
really love the milk with the coffee, but I mean
it's an adjustment. I think it didn't taste awful. I
think it's just I need to adjust my routine to
(03:50):
accommodate dairy. I really love the taste of oat milk,
so it's definitely gonna be hard because I have it
every single day with my coffee. But you know, eventually
we will figure it out. I'm hoping that right now
my stomach is okay to just like, yeah, digest it
and all that. That's my main concern is just making
sure that my body will get used to dairy eventually,
(04:12):
because right now it's still like on the fence of
consuming it. If you guys know what I mean. You
know what I mean. But I'm sure you guys can
relate if some of you are in that situation where
you switch to non dairy and now you're having a
hard time switching back to dairy's. So anyways, I'm actually
really excited about today's episode because I feel like this
is definitely a topic We've talked about a lot in
(04:32):
this podcast, but I've never been into detail about like
a step by step process of this. And it also
kind of just opens up my life in terms of
like where I see myself in the next five to
ten years, and there's a lot of things that I'm
gonna kind of expose myself with what I want to
do within these next five to ten years that I
(04:55):
don't think I've ever publicly opened up on my social
media about when it comes to you know, on TikTok
or on YouTube, Like I really try and stay real
with you guys, because I feel like the podcast Girlies
are just like my community, Like we're such a tight
community here and I feel so grateful to have you guys,
and I truly feel like I can be my open
and honest self on here. Not saying that I'm not
(05:17):
open and honest on YouTube and TikTok, but I just
feel like I'm a bit more chatty here obviously, as
you guys know, chatting my brains out here, but there's
just a connection that I feel like I've built with
you guys on the podcast, and I really want to
just be open and honest and help you guys out
with how to create a five to ten year plan.
So this episode's really going to be about, you know,
just rebranding yourself. How we can really envision our future together.
(05:42):
So of course we do our yearly vision boards and
all that, and that really does play a factor into
this episode, but we're not really going to talk about
the vision board at all because we've talked about that
a lot. This is more so how we're going to
create a five to ten year plan, Like, what do
you want your future to look like? Do you guys
have specific timelines on what you want to achieve before
(06:05):
thirty years old or before forty years old or whatever
it is, right, So I kind of want to share
how you're going to create this plan for yourself along
with kind of where my plan is at right now.
I'm going to share my five year plan, just because
I feel like that's most realistic for me. Since I
am turning thirty next year, I kind of just have
a five year plan. I think ten years is a
(06:26):
little too far away from me. I think the ten
year plan is definitely something that I'm still working on,
but the five year plan is very much set in
stone for me specifically. But if you're someone who's twenty
where it's like, I want to have my dream job
by twenty five, I want to have my dream car
by twenty eight, I want to be married by twenty nine,
Like you get the GISTs, I feel like at the
(06:46):
age of twenty or even eighteen or fifteen, however old
you are, I feel like a ten year plan is
definitely doable, just for me because I'm a little bit older,
I feel like a five year plan is more realistic
for me. So, of course, I got married last year,
and that was a huge goal for me in my twenties,
was to be able to, you know, get married to
the love of my life, which was a mission that
(07:07):
we completed. Got married last year and was very very
proud of that, and it was more than I could
ever imagine, Like it was not something I am visioned
my wedding day to look like. But it was even
better than what I am visioned, you know what I mean. Like,
I was so grateful that we were able to get
married abroad and you know, had that wedding in Italy.
I always knew I wanted to do a destination wedding,
(07:28):
but I never knew where, and I never knew how
it actually looked like. I wasn't able to visualize it.
When I think of myself when I was, you know,
twenty five years old, I think I probably visualized it
maybe somewhere on the beach in you know, Mexico or
something like that. But you know, obviously things change and
I ended up getting married in Italy, which ten times
better in my opinion. But you know, sometimes we have
(07:49):
a vision, but sometimes it doesn't always align, and things
obviously change, right, Like we adapt to change, and that's
what we have to be able to embrace. Is adapting
to change is good. And you know, obviously sometimes our
visions change after years of years of you know, things evolving,
and obviously, like trends are different and all that, right,
so you kind of always just have to be able
(08:10):
to adapt. But that was one goal of mine in
my twenties. So I would say my ten year plan
in my twenties was to really find my dream job,
get married to the love of my life, and buy
a house, and those were the three things that I
did accomplish, along with buying my dream car. So I
would say that was very much within my ten year
plan of like having these goals for myself. Of course, again,
(08:31):
if it happens earlier, great, If it's happens later, that's okay.
We always adjust, right, We always look at the plan
and figure out ways on how we're going to adjust
it in order to make it achievable. So that was
kind of my ten year plan. Now going into my thirties,
which will be next year, I've created a five year
plan for myself and three things that I would like
(08:52):
to achieve before thirty five. Is one being something that
Zach and I are actually trying to execute now. This
is actually something that I've kept from everyone, well not
everyone like my friends and family obviously no immediate friends
and family. And it's not like too big of a deal.
It's obviously very exciting, but it's definitely been a very
(09:12):
stressful process, and I think that's kind of why I
feel like I've I don't know, I mean, obviously I've
been posting a lot and all that. I'm just kind
of going in a personal situation right here, but I've
been getting really anxious and really stress lately, and I
feel like it's been impacting me personally when I try
to like put myself on camera. I've been having a
(09:32):
hard time kind of like focusing because I've been so
focused on getting this goal that i want to achieve
for Zach and I, and that's buying another house, which
is very exciting, Like I'm very very excited. Obviously we
don't have anything purchase yet, but this is what our
goal is for like the next year or two is
(09:53):
to buy our dream house. And it's stressful. It's definitely
not an easy process. I think buying this house here
was a much easier process because not like we didn't
really care, but when we bought it, it was during COVID,
you know, it was a really you know, fast market,
like things were selling really quick. So for us, like
we didn't really care what the house looked like. We
(10:15):
just cared about the price, and we're like, hey, let's
buy it. We'll design it the way we want to
design it whatever, didn't really care about where we were,
the floor plans, all that. So this time around, I'm
a little bit more focused on what the actual house
looks like and the floor plans and all that. So
there's a lot more research going into this, and obviously
it is a lot more money because we're upgrading to
(10:36):
a bigger house. So it's our family house. Like this
has always been a goal of mine, is to have
my dream family home that I'm going to raise my
kids in. And it's been a very stressful journey and
you know, it's not something that you can just do
within a few weeks and it's done. Like this is
something that Zach and I have been doing for the
past few months. Is we've been searching, and you know,
(10:57):
we have a real estate agent with us. I've been
document everything, and yeah, it feels really good to get
off my chest right now to tell you guys that,
But let's keep it a secret between you and I,
because I don't want to tell anyone else, to be honest,
I'm just kind of like keeping it low key because
obviously we don't have a property that we've been bought
yet right now. We're just in the process of looking
(11:18):
and all that. But I've purposely decided to not post
anything until we've purchased the house, just because I'd like
to keep that part of my life quiet for now.
And when we hopefully do find a property, then we'll start,
you know, talking about the journey and all that. But
that's one big goal within my five year plan. Another
(11:39):
big goal is to obviously have children. We and Zach
obviously want kids right now. I want two kids, but
we shall see how the first kid goes, right, Like,
I hear obviously stories about pregnancy and birth and all that,
and I just pray that, you know, I'm able to
have that experience and have, you know, a beautiful child,
and I pray for two children, but if I get one,
(12:01):
I'll be happy. And that is just a goal of ours.
Is that we want to start a family. We want
to raise a family. We want to be able to
have either a little boy or a little girl in
our life that we were able to raise and pray
that we can give them the best life possible. So
those are like two big goals within my five year plan.
And guys, five years goes by quick, Okay, She's not
(12:24):
a slow process. She goes by so fast. So this
is why I'm like it's good to create these plans
because it really allows you to kind of like align
to your vision and align to like what you actually
see yourself doing. And another big goal of mine within
my five year plan is to start my business, which
I've definitely been really open and honest with you guys,
and I'm really trying to understand that it is a process.
(12:48):
It's not something that you just do overnight or within
a few weeks or a few months. It's definitely something
that could take a year, two years, Like when you're
trying different types of you know, manufacturers products, it's something
that you want to perfect and you don't want to
have any issues, you know, for customers when you're just
trying to like speed up the process and just like
(13:08):
get the product out, you know what I mean. So
I'm really trying to like understand the whole business side
of that and just kind of like know that it
takes time. So those would be my three biggest goals
for my five year plans. So it's pretty realistic, I
think for me, I think that's very achievable. And I
kind of want to talk about how I created this
five year plan for myself. And why I'm going into
(13:29):
depth about this because I do think it's really helpful
for people like you who want to create a five
to ten year plan for yourself that may have a
goal like this where they want to get that dream car,
or they want to get that dream job, or they
want to get, you know, that dream trip that they
always thought about. You guys want to travel the world
maybe and go to different parts of Europe. Like, you
need to have a plan in order to execute those
(13:50):
dreams for yourself. So I think the first one is
really visualizing it. So visualize how you want your life
to look. Is there a specific way that you picture
yourself doing this life? So you know, we obviously create
these vision boards of what our goals are for the year,
but when we think about a five to ten year plan,
you really need to visualize what you actually see in
your life. Like what do you actually see for yourself?
(14:13):
Do you see, you know, a future of you living
abroad somewhere. Do you see you traveling for like three
months after you're done university. Do you see yourself buying
your dream car or having your dream job by a
specific age? Do you see yourself having a really big
wedding that you really want to save for and have,
like the perfect wedding of your dreams. These are things
(14:34):
that you have to think about. Of course, we all
think about these things and these goals, and you know,
we all want this for ourselves, but we all need
to figure out how we're actually going to achieve it.
So I think the first step is really visualizing it,
writing things down, writing out Okay, these are all the
goals I want to achieve for myself, and this is
everything that I want to complete within the next five
to ten years. This also doesn't just have to be
about physical goals in terms of like you know, dream job,
(14:58):
dream house, moving away, whatever the case I be. This
could also be things about becoming a healthier version of yourself,
or working out more, or just becoming more confident in yourself,
or just working on your overall self being. Like, there's
so many other goals that you can think of that
you really want to improve on. I know, for myself,
I definitely want to improve just on my overall confidence
(15:19):
in myself. I feel like, you know, I try to
be as confident as I can on social media, but like,
obviously I do have my days where I don't feel
confident in myself and I do have, you know, my
I want to say my own flaws in a way
that I don't love about myself, but I want to
be able to embrace those flaws more, meaning like I
should feel beautiful no matter what. I shouldn't have to,
(15:40):
you know, be disappointed in myself when nobody's perfect, and
I think that's just the reality, but just being better
at being more confident within myself and like being more
grateful for the life that I do have and you know,
the body that I was given and all that. So
the next step would be, after writing out everything that
you envision for yourself for your five to ten year plan,
(16:02):
is how we're going to execute these things. So, for
an example, if you want to have your dream career
within the next five years, okay, how are we going
to execute that. We're going to find time of spending
time doing research of different types of jobs, applying for
different jobs. I feel like this is very much Madison's
life right now, and I think that's like the best
example I could give is that she feels very lost.
(16:24):
She doesn't really know what direction she wants to go down.
She just finished school, you know, she has somewhat of
an idea the route she wants to go down, but
there's so many different types of jobs that she could
do with her masters that she has, so she's like
in that phase where she's just trying to apply to
different things, research different things, kind of just figure out
what she wants and doing this allows her to get
(16:47):
one step closer to that dream job that she actually
is going to get, And she also needs to have
that mindset. This is what I keep telling her because
obviously she's been going through it a little bit in
terms of like why haven't I found anything yet, Like,
you know, it's taking a little bit longer than I anticipated.
I really wanted to get my you know, my dream
job by you know, the beginning of the summer and
not the end of the summer all that. But I
(17:08):
keep telling her that these jobs that you're applying for,
if you're not getting it, there's a reason, and it
just means that it's not meant to be. And I
keep telling her that we really have to go in
with that mindset of what's meant to be will be,
because I truly believe that everyone needs to follow that motto.
I'm going to be fully transparent. Zach and I almost
actually bought a house and it ended up selling, and
(17:30):
I was really really disappointed, like really really sad. But
then in my head, I knew that it wasn't meant
to be. Like I'm like, if it was sold to
someone else, it was meant to be for them, It
wasn't meant to be for us. It wasn't because we
didn't react fast enough or anything like that. It just
truly wasn't the right house. So for me, that's kind
of how I've gone into my current situation is just
(17:51):
knowing that the right thing will come at the right time.
And I think that's a mindset that everyone needs to
kind of put in their head when it comes to,
you know, thinking of these big goals that they're trying
to apply for or achieve or whatever. Like as I said,
dream career, buying a house, you know, maybe booking that
wedding venue that you want. You didn't get it on
the date that you want, Okay, well maybe that's not
(18:12):
the place. Then maybe it's a different date, maybe it's
a different venue. Like just kind of go in with
that mindset. Another one could be, you know, getting your
dream car or your dream house or moving away. In
order to get these things, you do need to work hard,
and you do need to know how to save money.
So really learning how to you know, save the money
into your savings account, maybe pick up extra shifts, or
(18:32):
figure out how can you get a second job. Maybe
it's getting a job at a workout studio so you
could like, you know, teach workout classes at night, make
that extra money start putting it in a savings account.
Or maybe it's just working at you know, a retail
shop again, just gaining some extra money, or starting a
side business yourself, being self employed again, getting that extra
money putting it into a savings account. So that's what
(18:54):
you kind of have to do is you kind of
have to see these goals and figure out, okay, well,
in order to achieve this goal, how am I going
to achieve it? Writing these big goals out and finding
ways to achieve each one. So essentially what you're doing
is you're breaking it down, which is the next step.
So you're breaking it down each goal and kind of
plan out, Okay, is it going to be this month,
is it going to be this year, is it going
(19:15):
to be next year? Like kind of figure out the
timeline of how you want things to go, and it
could be anything, as I said, so kind of just
figuring out the timeline of how you want to break
these goals down and how you want it to work
out within your five to ten year plan. It's important
when you make these goals to be very specific and
as accurate as possible, meaning like you're able to give
(19:37):
as much detail as you can. That way, when you
know you look back at it from a year, you're
not confused as to what your goal was, you know
what I mean, Like, you're able to know exactly what
you wrote down and what your vision was for those
steps and those goals that you wanted to achieve within
the next few years. So make sure you provide as
much detail and specification as possible. That way, it's easier
(20:00):
for you to understand how you're going to actually physically
achieve these things. Now, this is where it comes to
the rebranding side. In terms of how you're rebranding yourself,
it's important to create a list of traits that allows
you to embody to live this life. So we talked
about you know, the persona that you see for yourself
and like how you want to become this vision that
(20:21):
you've always wanted for yourself. So in order to have
your dream career or your dream house, you need to
be dedicated or motivated or driven or hardworking, like you
need to have those you know, traits in that mindset
in order to be able to achieve these things for yourself.
So now it goes into embodying it. So how are
we going to embody that motivated and driven self that
(20:44):
you want to be? How are you going to be
that motivated individual? It kind of goes hand in hand
with what is your why? And I think having a
why is so important. I think, for an example for
myself when I think about, oh, why do you do
what you do? Like why do you do this job?
Like what's the benefit to you? Well, my why is
that I'm motivating women all over the world and inspiring
(21:06):
women to become their best selves, their healthiest self. Or
you guys might see me as like, you know, a
inspirational person when it comes to my career, Like maybe
you're very similar like me, where you want to become
an influencer and you want to you know, have your
own career and be self employed and be able to
essentially like create your own business in a way. Right,
(21:27):
So I do what I do because I love that
I'm able to inspire and motivate you guys to become
the best version of yourself. I'm also motivated because I
do make a very steady living with this job, and
I think obviously like having good income definitely reflects how
you want to see a vision for yourself. Right. So
you know, if you want to be a doctor, and
(21:47):
you know that, of course, being a doctor is saving
people's lives and like that is such a big reward, right,
But you also make really good money as a doctor
as well, right, So, and that probably motivates them to
become a doctor because they know that, hey, not only
am I saving someone's life, but I'm also getting a
very steady living out of it, which makes me happy,
and that's what I want for myself. So again not
(22:10):
comparing myself to a doctor at all, but I'm just
trying to explain, Like the why is always two big things,
I think, and that is who are you benefiting? And
if you are benefiting someone, that's the main priority. And
then if you're able to make a steady living out
of it and being able to like live the life
that you wanted to live for yourself. Because you're earning
the money that you've always dreamed for yourself. Then that's
(22:30):
the best combo right there, Right, that is the why.
So you always have to ask yourself the why when
it comes to these things. Okay, Another example is if
you're wanting to travel the world, and what is your why?
Your why is because I want to be able to
see all parts of the world because seeing it on
you know, a TV screen is not enough. Like I
want to be able to fully be there and be
(22:51):
present and be able to say to my future family
and my future friends that I was able to visit
all these different parts of the world and I was
so lucky that I was financially capable to do those things.
Because everybody dreams of visiting all these different places within
the world. Right So your why is is that you
want to be able to say that you did these
things because you're proud of it, and you want to
(23:13):
be able to say that you visited all these different
places in the world. Same thing with why do I
work out every single day? I work out every single
day because it makes me feel good. I feel like
I'm showing up for myself. I'm doing myself a favor.
It's a great healthy it's great for your health. Like,
there's so many benefits. Obviously is to working out every
single day, But there's so many different whys that you
can think of, And I think you always need to
(23:34):
remember your why when it comes to any goal that
you want to achieve. So once you have these goals
and you figure out how you're going to achieve it
and what are the whys as to why you want
to achieve these things, you actually need to stick with
it and never give up. Know that you know if
things do get delayed or if there is obstacles where
you know, it creates a challenge for you to create
these things, figure out a new system, always make sure
(23:57):
that you're always able to stick with it because it's
important or to never give up. And you have to
understand that anything that you believe that you can do,
you can one hundred percent do. If you believe that
you can become a content creator, fricking keep posting and
never stop because that day will come where you do
become a content creator. And you need to have that
mindset of never giving up because that's when good things
(24:18):
will come to you. If you have that good energy,
good energy will come back to you. That's what me
and my sister always say when good things come, better
things are coming, like, get that negative energy away from you.
Just focus on the good, because the good will come back.
I think this point here is just a non negotiable
in anything in life, because if you're not motivated and
you're not driven enough, it's not going to happen. So
(24:38):
you need to have that mindset constantly of just never
giving up on anything and know that anything is possible
if you set your mind to it. I feel like
a motivational speaker when I do these episodes, but I'm
definitely not a motivational speaker at all. But I am
just very passionate about goal setting and all that because
I just think it truly is a game changer. It's
all about creating that mindset, and I just I push
(25:00):
that so much because it truly is the reality. I
obviously think achieving goals is the most rewarding thing ever,
and I want you guys to be able to achieve
that dream life that you've always wanted. And that's why
I'm here and that's why I provide these episodes like
this to really allow you, guys, to envision that dream
life for yourself. The last step is all about reflection,
So reflecting on what you did during this journey to
(25:23):
get to where you are, and just ask yourself, did
I complete all the goals that I wanted to achieve?
Where I am now? Is that where I wanted to be?
You know, five years ago who I envision myself to be?
Am I on the right track of how I wanted
to see myself. Make sure you really just reflect on
the journey throughout as well, because again, there's always going
to be changes sometimes and you need to be open
(25:45):
to the change and understand that there's obviously a road
that you're taking that is taking you on the right path,
and there's obviously going to be hiccups, but know that
there's a reason for that. As I said, change may happen,
and that's okay. You need to be open to change
because of course, you know, we all have this plan
(26:06):
of you know, achieving these things, but sometimes things might
take a wrong turn or might not just be where
you thought it was going to be, and that's okay.
And whatever you know comes along the way, it's only
bringing you closer where you need to be so you know,
if you didn't get that dream job that you thought
you wanted, maybe it's because there's something better around the corner,
and that you know it will always end up working
(26:27):
out for you regardless, and that's something better is coming.
So always just make sure to have that positive mindset
and know that you know everything happens for a reason
and that the best is yet to come. I hope
you guys enjoyed this episode. I felt like it was
very much a motivational episode, and I think it's just
because I really wanted to kind of just touch on
my five year plan and how I see my life
(26:48):
looking and that it's important for you guys to kind
of have that goal for yourself of like what do
I see myself doing in the next five to ten years,
Because as I said, I'm here to inspire you guys
to truly live your best and happiest self. And I
always try and be real here with you guys, and
that no matter what I do, think we can all
achieve the things that we wanted to achieve for ourself,
(27:10):
and that there is always goals that can be achieved
and things can always happen if you set the right
mindset for yourself. So I just really wanted to kind
of just touch on that in this episode because I
feel like, you know, we're already halfway through this year,
which is so crazy, and you know, maybe you do
want to create a vision board and you haven't even
done so yet. So you know, there's goals that you
can achieve before the end of the year, and if
(27:31):
you set your mind to it, good things can happen.
But it's also important to not just think about this year,
but to think about your future self and how you
see your future and how you really want to create
that five to ten year plan for yourself. But I
hope you guys enjoyed this episode. If you guys are new,
