Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
Hawkgirl Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
a new mindset, and another day for you to become
the hawk Girl energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
Happy Wednesday and Happy September. I am so excited to

(00:34):
be entering September. I think September is by far my
favorite month. Like I was thinking about this yesterday, I
was on my Hawkgirl walk and I just couldn't stop
thinking about how perfect the weather was and how it
was like kind of hot but kind of chilly, and
it just got me thinking about how I think September
is legit my favorite month of the year because technically
the weather is still giving summer. It's not fully fall yet,

(00:56):
Like it's still giving summer in my opinion, just.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
A bit more of a breeze the morning and at night, you.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Know, things start to change a little bit with like
the leaves starting to change, and obviously, like it gets
a bit darker in the mornings, which I don't love.
I prefer you know, walking out with the sun rising
in the early mornings but hey, that's okay. I'm kind
of adjusting my schedule to adapt to my fall routine.
But all in all, the excitement around September is also

(01:23):
starting a new season, so we are officially starting fall.
There's so much to look forward to for the fall.
I feel like there's just so many fun things to
get excited about. And that's what I kind of wanted
to make today's episode about, was really just things to
look forward to for this new season that is about
to begin. But I don't know, I think September has
just become my favorite month and I didn't realize that

(01:45):
until now. And I'm just really excited for this month
of just getting everything ready for the fall season and
just like decorating, doing fall activities, just you know, getting
fall fashion started all that. I just feel like it's
a great month to look forward to. As most of
you know, I was in Italy last week. I was

(02:06):
away with Zach, which was a much needed trip. We
had the best time just exploring different parts of Italy.
We were in Portofino for the first four days and
then we were in Sardinia for the last eight days,
so we were there for a total of twelve days.
Perfect amount of time to be honest, like I would
not want to go longer or less, Like I personally

(02:28):
felt like I was ready to go by like this
last day, like I was tired. I really wanted to
see Freddy. I wanted to come home to my family.
I wanted to be back in my own bed, just
getting back into routine, going back to workout classes. Like
I think the perfect amount of time to travel is
between like the ten day and twelve day mark, just
under two weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I personally find.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Two weeks a little too long for myself because I
feel like I don't know my clothes start to get dirty,
I start rewaring, you know, the same dresses that I
wore earlier in the trip, just because I try and
pass you know, smart since I obviously don't want to
be overweight, which I'm sure everyone can agree that that's
a common problem for us is having our bag overweight.
I actually ended up being underweight, which never happens. I

(03:12):
think it's because I had a smaller suitcase as time.
Zach wanted me to get the smaller one just so
it's easier to carry around, especially because we were jumping
from you know, different trains, different buses, and I'm sure
if you've done a European summer, then you guys know
the drill. It's not as you know, glamorized as what
you see, Like there's definitely a lot of jumping around
for transportation to get to these really magical places that

(03:36):
you see in Europe. But the smaller suitcase was definitely
the right move and I'm happy we did that. But
what's funny is that Zach's beg was actually heavier than
mine because for some reason, Zach thought it would be
a good idea to pack like twenty two shirts. Like
I'm not even over exaggerating. He is a girl when
it comes to packing, and I find it so funny.
And you know, he always says, oh, yeah, I'm gonna

(03:58):
do a carry on or a dofble bang. Yeah no,
not him, Like he just goes overboard with the packing
and somehow he'll still end up forgetting something that he
wish you packed. So anyways, the fact I was underweight
compared to him was shocking, and I made it a
joke the entire.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Trip that I finally was underweight and he wasn't.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
So yeah, we went to Portofino, we went to Sardinia, again,
both amazing places. Highly recommend checking those places out if
you do ever plan to go to Italy or travel
to Europe. I have linked a few of the hotels
on my Instagram highlight for Italy. I'm gonna link a
bunch of things this week too, just in terms of
like the outfits I wore, the hotels we stayed at,

(04:37):
all that. That way, you guys have access to all
those things, just because I know a lot of you
guys actually asked me just for like hotel links and
all that when it comes to maybe you planning your
trip or honeymoon or anything like that. So I just
want to make sure that's all there for you guys,
just because I always get a lot of questions on that.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
So don't worry.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I will make sure to have everything in my Italy highlight.
That way, if you guys are looking to book a trip,
you guys can access all the details there. I also
did a YouTube blog while I was there, so if
you guys want to see kind of like the behind
the scenes of you know, hotel rooms and just kind
of like our overall trip. I will hopefully have that
vlog out before the end of this week. It was

(05:14):
a really fun vlog to do. I actually love my
travel vlog especially with Zach.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I think they're.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Always so fun and enjoyable to edit, just because I
get to kind of like relive the moment by you know,
looking through the footage that we got throughout the trip,
and I don't know, I feel like the travel vlogs
are always just so fun and I really really enjoy
filming vlogs whenever I'm traveling with Zach. So if you
want to subscribe to my YouTube channel and look out
for that vlog, I have it linked in the description below.

(05:40):
But let's get into today's episode.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I'm literally so excited to talk about everything about fall,
things look forward to this month, and just things that
you're going to be doing this fall. So let's start
off with the basics, because I feel like this is
something that I always do whenever I'm entering a new season,
and I feel like you guys know this already because
I always bring it up. But going on Pinterest. Pinterest
is your best friend when it comes to going into

(06:05):
a new season and how you kind of envision your
season to be. So, how do you plan on dressing
for fall? How do you plan on spending your fall
days or fall weekends. Do you want to do you know,
a lot of fall activities. Do you want to go
on a fall trip? Like, using Pinterest is the best
thing that's going to help you envision your goals, your

(06:26):
visions in terms of how you want to see yourself
this season. And so I feel like Pinterest is just
the best place to start whenever you go into a
new season and just kind of save images that kind
of catch your eye. Right, Okay, I like this girl's
outfit for you know, maybe a fall outfit for a
special occasion maybe. You know, as I said, you plan
on going on a fall trip to New York City
maybe and you come across this really cute fall outfit.

(06:48):
That's an opportunity for you to save it. It kind
of gives you some outfit inspo of how you want
to dress yourself for that trip or in general for fall.
It's just the best place to go for any type
of inspiration when you're looking for inspo for anything in life.
So that's the first thing you're gonna do. You're gonna
go on pinteress. You're gonna save some fall inspo photos.
It could be baking, so maybe things that you want

(07:08):
to bake for the fall season. It could be things
that you want to cook, So maybe there's some fall
recipes that you come across. Again, it could be fall fashion,
it could be fall activities, it could be how you
want to decorate your house this fall. Like literally, pinters
can be used for any of those things. And another
thing I wanted to mention that I've been seeing on
my TikTok page is how people kind of see a
new season as a way to kind of get out

(07:31):
of a rut and kind of click the reset button,
meaning like you're kind of like rebranding yourself. So let's
say you just kind of had an off summer and
you know, you kind of feel like you just kind
of need a bit of a reset and kind of
like get back into a routine or whatever the case
may be. September is your month, Okay, September is the
start of a new season. It's a new way for

(07:52):
you to kind of get back into the swing of things,
rebrand yourself, get that reset button going, you know, maybe
do a bit of a house reset, getting back into
the swing of things, decorating your home maybe in a
different way to really, you know, reflect the fall season,
whatever the case may be. So take this as a
sign that if you feel like you've been off, September
is your month of your new year. Like it's a

(08:13):
new year starting in September till the end of the year,
you have four months to achieve your goals, and maybe
it's you know, kind of resetting goals for this month
and figuring.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Out what you want to actually achieve and.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Maybe creating a routine for yourself and all that. It's
all about just becoming the best version of yourself. Obviously,
that's what we're all about here on this podcast. But
I just wanted to make that aware that there's no
perfect time. But if you are feeling like you need
a reset or you need that motivation to get yourself
out of a rut, take this as a sign that
Fall is your reset button. Fall is the time for

(08:46):
you to kind of figure out your shit and just
get your shit back into gear. And this is a
season that you're going to thrive. So just wanted to
make that clear. If you're feeling a little down and
needed a bit of motivation, this is going to be
your season and you are I'm going to love every
second of it. So let's get into things that I'm
looking for to this season. The first one I'm gonna

(09:07):
start with because I'm probably the most excited about this,
and I think I'm gonna start doing this either tomorrow
or before the.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
End of the week.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
But I am going Fall decor shopping and just decorating
the house. That is the first step for me, because
I want the house to feel like pumpkins were vomited everywhere,
Like that's the best way I can to describe it.
I want pumpkin candles, I want pumpkin pillows, I want
pumpkin tea towels. I want everything in my house to

(09:35):
have a pumpkin. I want to decorate my front porch
in front of my house. I want to get you know,
fall inspired florals, flowers, like everything you can possibly imagine
that describes Fall. Is how I want my house to
look like in the inside. So that is the first
thing I'm doing this week is going to Fall to
core shopping. Obviously, I have a lot of decor from
last year, so I don't think I'll need too much.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
But I always like.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
To go to Home Sense or Winners or Michaels. If
you're in States, I'm sure you have Target or home
goods that you could find some cute fault the core pieces.
But it doesn't have to be a lot. It could
be you know, a fall scented candle. It could be
you know, a pumpkin pillow and a throat blanket. Like
just getting those little things. You could add it to
your bedroom. If you don't live in your own home

(10:16):
like I do, and you know you have your own
bedroom space, again, you can still decorate your bedroom making
it feel more fall. My sister obviously still lives with
my parents and she's decorating her whole entire bedroom to
reflect the fall season. So you can still do it
even if you don't own a house. Just want to
make that clear. But because I have a home, I'm
really excited to decorate my kitchen, decorate my living room.

(10:38):
I have cute little floating shelves in my kitchen that
I'm really excited about, just like putting pumpkins out. You know,
I have these little pumpkin coffee pod storage, so you
take off the pumpkin lids and you can put your
coffee pods in it, and I absolutely love it. I
think it's just like such a cute detail that I
get to put beside my coffee machine. And you know, obviously,

(11:00):
during the fall season, we love pumpkin spice anything, so
that brings me into my next point, which is getting
pumpkin coffees. I think we all know at this point
that I am obsessed with pumpkin drinks. Like Starbucks Pumpkin
Cream Cold Crew is my obsession. Like, I truly am
obsessed with that drink. I personally think it's the best
Starbucks drink that's ever been released. Like you know, I

(11:20):
don't really go to Starbucks during the summer or the winter.
Maybe sometimes during the Christmas season because they launched a
Christmas drinks, but I personally find the fall drinks and
the Christmas drinks are the best. Like, I don't think
anything else is worth going to Starbucks for except that.
So if you see me at Starbucks, it's usually during
the fall or Christmas season, and that is it because
I really really do enjoy those drinks that they release.

(11:44):
So obviously Pumpkin Cream Cold Crew is by far my favorite.
That is probably my go to drink. I did just
recently try their newest drink, which is the Pea Can
crunch Out latte. Wow, that was incredible. I highly recommend
trying that out if you haven't try that, it's definitely
more of like a caramel taste.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
I would say I do like the.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Pumpkin chi, but I wouldn't say I'm a big chai person,
so I don't love it. I think I love it
just because I can taste the pumpkin in it. But
the chai I find is like very sweet. In my opinion,
I feel like I have to do like less pumps
for sure. Also for those that have asked when I
order my pumpkin cream cold brew, I just ask for
one or two shots less, so I'll either have it
like half sweet. In terms of like the shots inside

(12:27):
the coffee, I keep the cold phone the same just
because I feel like, you know, they don't put too
much sweetener in that, it's more the bottom of the
coffee that they put sweetener in. So if I were
to like describe the perfect order, it would be a
grande pumpkin cream cold brew with it being half sweet
is what I would typically order. But I don't usually
get that every single week. I would probably say I
get it maybe once every two to three weeks. But

(12:48):
when I do order a pumpkin cream cold brew. Oh
my goodness, I am like the happiest girl ever. I
want to try and recreate it here at the house.
I have tried last year, I believe, but I wasn't
using dairy milk now that I'm starting to drink dairy again,
which can we just talk about that conversation for a second,
Because I was drinking dairy the entire time in Italy

(13:09):
and was fine, like literally was completely fine. Then I
was drinking the milk that I had here at the
house with half oat milk, and my stomach was kind
of off.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
So I'm like, what is going on?

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Like why is it okay in Italy? But it's not
okay here? So I ended up taking some recommendations from
people that they recommended trying the A to milk, which
I got from farm Boy, So if you're from Ottawa,
they sell A to milk from there and I haven't
tried it yet, but I'm hoping.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
I'm hoping.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I'm hoping that it doesn't hurt my stomach so I
can be a full on dairy girl. But I've been
trying so hard to be able to consume milk.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I don't know why. It's such an issue.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
But anyways, I'm hoping to recreate the pumpkin cream cold
foam here in a hopefully a healthier way by just
adding honey and maple syrup bursts like an actual, you know,
sugary sweetener, and then obviously adding pumpkin pure to the
mix as well.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
So we'll keep you guys posted on that.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Obviously, we'll post a TikTok or an Instagram rail of
me attempting to make this at home, but I'm determined
to try it out at the house and master it
that way. It's my new go to coffee, so yeah,
obviously pumpkin spice everything when it comes to my coffee order.
I literally am obsessed with pumpkin and I also just
love like pumpkin pie during this time of the year,

(14:21):
or honestly just like making pumpkin anything like pumpkin soup.
I've also been wanting to make pumpkin spice bagels. You
guys know that I was obsessed with making those high
protein Greek yogurt bagels.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I'm trying to attempt to make it. Next week.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
I'm going to try and make this pumpkin spice bagel recipe.
So hopefully that turns out. And then I also came
across a pumpkin cinnamon swirl sour dough toe. So anyways,
I have so many things that I've saved guys that
you guys are definitely gonna want to try. I'm just
getting hungry by talking about this stuff, but very much
looking forward to all those fall pumpkin baking things and

(14:59):
obviously coffees as well. Also, since we're on the topic
of coffee orders, I also saw someone recently order a
Macha from Starbucks and using the pumpkin cream cold foam
on top.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Of the macha.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
No idea if it's good, but a lot of people
were saying it was really really good, So for someone
like me who loves pumpkin, it might actually be worth trying.
And because I've been starting to like macha, it might
be fun to try it out, so I'll let you
guys know if I try it. But definitely interesting, So
if you're a Macha lover but also love pumpkin, this
might be a drink to try out. Another thing I

(15:32):
love is fall candles in simmer pots. I love a
fall candle during the fall season. I love lighting them up,
usually before dinner with Zach. I feel like it just
creates a really nice ambiance. Or if I want to
have like a slow morning, lighting a candle before I
make my coffee and my breakfast, just to kind of
like set the tone, set the mood of the house.
I also love the idea of doing a simmer pot,

(15:53):
which is just when you buy a bunch of fruit
and spices. So I've done like orange cranberries with like
cinnamon sticks in I think it's boiling water, I want
to say, on the stove, and it just makes the
house smell like fall. It's such a fun idea to do,
and I've seen a lot of people do it on
social media and it's just a great way to make

(16:13):
the house feel like fall. Another thing I'm looking forward
to is warm toned bedding, meaning that you're changing up
your bedding maybe to something a bit more darker. I
actually just recently changed my bedding to dark brown and tope,
and it just really is setting the mood for fall,
Like it literally looks so good. The space just feels

(16:34):
like a new season has approached. Like I feel like
my summer bedding is usually like light and floral and white,
and now it's very like dark, moody fall, like just
a totally different vibe. But I just really love to
reflect a new season with like how I decorate my house.
I don't know if anyone else likes to do that,
but I feel like it just really reflects the season

(16:55):
that you're in when you put the effort of decorating
your home to reflect season that's happening right now.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
So that's what I do.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
I feel like, for example, when you think of Christmas, obviously,
we decorate our house to reflect Christmas. So I feel like,
you know, when you're in the fallen summer, it's it
feels good to kind of, you know, match the house
with the season that we're in. So that's kind of
like how I do it. And I feel like it
feels really nice and enjoyable when you put the effort
of just kind of like reflecting your home into the season,

(17:26):
and it's something I look forward to doing. Oh my goodness,
this next one. I am like so excited for this.
I think this is my favorite time for fashion, and
that's fall fashion. Just shopping for like knit sweaters I love,
you know, finding new jackets like trench coats or you know,
a nice pair of boots for going out uggs season, like,
they're so much good fashion during the fall, I think

(17:49):
it's honestly my favorite season to actually put the effort
in my outfits. I love summer, I love a good dress.
I love, you know, just throwing on like a very
effortless outfit, But there's something about putting the effort in
your outfits during the fall. I love a good jacket.
I feel like a staple jacket in your wardrobe is
a must, just like dressing up dark denim with like

(18:10):
basic T shirts and then throwing on a really nice
jacket with a pair of boots like oh, I don't know,
and then like you know, having like the suede bags
and the suede shoes and boots and all that. I
think there's just something about fall fashion that hits different
compared to any other season, and it's by far my
favorite season to dress. So definitely have a lot of

(18:30):
fall outfit inspos that I've saved on Pinterest that I'm
really excited to recreate. I have like so many shopping
bags just sitting there with all these items that I
haven't checked out with yet, so hopefully I'll have a
fall shopping hall soon, I hope, honestly next week I'll
have a TikTok up. I've just been so busy with
catching up on work this week, and I also have
a wedding that I'm going to this weekend, so I

(18:52):
just haven't pulled the trigger yet when it comes to
ordering fall fashion, but definitely hoping to do that early
next week and then hopefully get the stuff and start
posting about fall fashion next week, so stay tuned for that.
I also plan to make an episode with more in
depth of things that are trending for fall, so stay
tuned for that, just in terms of like certain footwear
that I recommend buying or brands that I recommend purchasing

(19:14):
from for the fall season, also like specific styles of
jackets and denim and all that, So stay tuned for
that episode of just like things that will be trending
for Fall, I will do a very in depth episode
of things like that if you guys are interested in
knowing what I think is going to be.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Trending for the fall season.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Another thing I'm looking forward to is fall recipes. So
not only am I excited to make, obviously my coffees
here at home in baking. You know, a bunch of
fall goodies like deep pumpkin spice bagels and banana bread
and all that.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
I'm also so.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Excited to make, like crock pot dinners, soups, stews.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
You guys know that I'm obsessed with soups.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
If you've been a hardcore podcast listener since the beginning,
then you know that I love making soups like it's
truly comfort meal. All I can think about is making
homemade tomato soup or butternut squash soup. Literally as soon
as the day it's officially fall, which is I think
September twenty first or September twenty second, I will be

(20:12):
making that as soon as it hits that date. So
we'll probably do another fall dinner series. I really enjoy
doing that. Oh my god, we failed at it this summer.
I thought we could keep at it. I think we
did maybe six recipes, which is pretty good, but we
got so busy with summer that we just kind of
slipped away from us from us doing a summer dinner series.

(20:32):
So hopefully with the fall, we don't really have a
busy few next months. I think the only thing that's
going to be busy for us is designing the house
and going to house appointments, which I'm very excited to
take you guys along for that. But other than that,
it's going to be being at home doing some content
for fall, and yeah, just cooking a lot of good
fall dinners, which I'm very excited about. I've definitely saved

(20:55):
a lot of fall recipes on Pinterest as well of
new things that I've never tried. I really want to
take it advantage of using my crockpot as much as
possible because I feel like this is prime crockpot dinner season,
so I definitely want to find a lot of recipes
for that and attempt to make chili's stews, you.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Know, dips all that.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
It's also football season, so just thinking about things that
you can make with the crock pot for some football Sundays.
I don't know, I'm just like very excited about, yeah,
entering this season. Another thing I'm looking forward to is
chilly morning walks. I actually love a breezy walk. I
don't love a winter walk. As you guys know, I'm
not a winter girl. I do not like walking in

(21:36):
minus twenty in the freezing cold snow. But I do
love when there is a bit of a breeze that
forces me to put on a knit or pull over
hoodie and I get to just like walk outside in
the early mornings. I also love just being able to
walk in the trails during the fall season and seeing
the leaves start to change. I think that's honestly the
most therapeutic thing is being able to see just how

(21:59):
the ambiyond has changed, with like the trees changing. It's
honestly so pretty and just very enjoyable to see.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
And yeah, just.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Having like the breeze and all that, Like, it's just
a very different vibe that I really like and honestly
makes my morning walks more enjoyable. The only thing I
don't like about fall is how the sun rises later
in the morning, So instead of it rising at like
six am, it's now rising at like seven. So that's
kind of sad, just because I feel like I loved

(22:27):
doing my early morning walks with the sunrise in the morning.
So I have to change up my routine a bit,
but it's definitely something I'm still obviously incorporating because I
love my morning walks, but just have to adjust my
routine a little bit to reflect the new season. I
think everyone can agree that this is also something that
we can all enjoy for the fall season. But that

(22:47):
is doing funfall dates like going to a pumpkin patch,
going apple picking, Like I love doing these things, usually
with my sister or my girlfriends, just because I feel
like Zach can't appreciate things like that where it's like
going to a pumpkin patch going apple picking, Like I
feel like guys are just kind of like, oh, like whatever,
I'm here for her. I don't know if anyone else's
boyfriend or husband could agree with that of like not

(23:10):
wanting to do the little fall dates. Sometimes I do
tell Zach that it would be fine, Like I'm like,
you should do it with me, and he's like and
I'm like come on, and he's like, okay, fine, and
he'll do it, and then he'll actually enjoy himself when
I tell him to come do it. Like. One other
thing that I'm really looking forward to doing is going
to the farmers' markets and fair. It's fair season, so
we have a little fair that we go to that's

(23:31):
close by to our place, and yeah, we just like
to go to the fair honestly for good food and
there's usually like live bands playing. There's obviously rides. I
don't usually go on the rides, but I really like
to go to the shops. There's like a lot of
different shops that people are selling stuff, usually like local
stuff and yeah, so it's just like a lot of

(23:51):
fun things to do with the fair. So it's fair
season here, which is exciting. And then also I find
visiting wineries around this time of the also really nice,
just seeing, you know, I don't know the vineyards at
this time of the years.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
It's just like a different vibe I feel like in
the fall.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
And I just really enjoy doing the outdoor date nights
at the vineyard, and it's something that we've done.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
In the past that I really enjoy.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
So those are just some fall date ideas that you
could do with a girlfriend or your husband or your boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I think it's such a fun thing to look forward
to for the fall season.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Of course, I could keep talking about the most amazing
things when it comes to fall, but I definitely have
a lot more podcast episodes that I want to save
that for, So this will be the last one that
I share about things that I'm looking forward to, even
though there's definitely a lot more that I'm looking forward
to this season. But watching Halloween movies or fall TV shows,
let's all be honest, they hit so much different when

(24:45):
you're watching it, like during that season. So I think
about like Twilight for example, like I love watching Twilight
during the fall season, Like if I watch them in
the summer, it doesn't feel the same, like you have
to watch it during the fall or on a gloomy
day like something that it kind of reflects the movie,
if that makes sense. So that's something I'm looking forward
to watching obviously. Harry Potter is another good one. I

(25:09):
low key love like horror movies. It's kind of weird.
I don't know why I love it because usually I'm
so terrified that I don't even want to watch it,
like I'll have my eyes covered the entire time, but
I still, for some reason want to watch it. So
Halloween movies, I guess I could say that I really
enjoy watching is the Scream series. So I love watching
the Scream movies or Halloween with Michael Myers. I always

(25:32):
watch that with my dad or Zach and I don't know,
I just enjoy being terrified. It's so weird to me,
but I actually love the thrill of it. Then for
TV shows, I really like to watch One Tree Hill.
That's what Zach and I watched this time last year.
It is such a good series. If you haven't seen it,
love Wintree Hill, or if you need to rewatch it,
recommend it.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I think it's on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Vampire Diaries I just also watched that last year, so
I'm like, I can't rewatch that. I to find TV
show to watch right now, So if you have any
recommendations for the fall season, please let me know. I
was thinking Supernatural, but Zach and I tried to watch
that two years ago and I think only got through
like the first two seasons and then kind of got
bored of it. But I want something that's reflected for

(26:16):
this season. So I like Wintrey Hill, I like Vampire Diaries.
I've also been thinking about rewatching Pretty Little Liars, like
that could be something that also reflects the fall season
because it's during school year, kind of spooky Halloween. I
feel like Pretty Little Liars gives fall for sure. Obviously
everyone loves Gilmore Girls. I personally couldn't get into it.

(26:37):
I tried so hard. I watched like the first few
episodes and I don't know why I couldn't get into it,
but I really want.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
To like it.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
I just don't know why I can't get into it.
Maybe I need to go and just like watch a
different season to get into it.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Let me know your recommendations, but if you have any
good TV shows that you think I should watch, or
maybe it's something that I've already watched that I will rewatch,
let me know, because I really want to find a
good TV show to binge.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Throughout the fall season.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
All right, guys, Well that is today's episode. I really
wanted to obviously share more, but I definitely have other
episodes that I'm going to share with you guys when
it comes to fall trends just kind of like a
fall bucket list all that, you guys know. The drill
just like my favorite things to really look forward to.
I'm very excited about the fall episodes. I know you
guys are excited as well. It's probably my favorite time
of the year to also record podcast episodes, just because

(27:26):
I am so obsessed with this season that I just
get so excited talking about it and just yeah, looking
forward to so many fun things.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
But I do think as we get.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
More into the fall season, they'll be more to talk
about and just like stuff I'm seeing through social media
and all that, I just like love to share everything
with you guys and give you guys all the inspo.
And yeah, I just really really enjoy recording these episodes.
